I’m super basic so I just got a pedicure. The place was clean and well kept and the smell wasn’t horrific like a lot of salons, which I’m super sensitive too. I have walked out with horrible heads from other places and did t with this one. It was quite minimal. The ladies were goofy and I enjoyed chatting with them. Will definitely make this my pedi salon!
I am usually very picky when it comes to my nails, but I was very nervous when coming in, but I had a great experience. I wanted a classy french style type of nail (I know nothing about nails) and the woman who helped me gave me exactly what I wanted, and she was a very nice lady. They look very very pretty, and I will be coming back.

Nathan and Mina, are a great team. My husband (who was recently discharged from a hospital stay of over a month) and I his caregiver as well, needed and received everything we needed. Furthermore, Nathan was more than happy to help assist me with my husband into, the shop, the chair and also asked if I needed help to get my husband into the car when we were done. I’m so bummed because I had such high hopes for this salon. I followed them on IG and made an appointment because the nail art is just stunning.Well I called and made an appointment - I’m 9 months pregnant and my husband works a set shift so I made sure to communicate what time I had to be done by, where I was driving from & how long it would take me to get home - I was assured that we could start at 11am and I’d be home in time.I arrived at 10:45am, the salon opens at 10a per Google, their own door and Instagram. The door was locked. Okay, stuff happens, I understand. I went back to my car to wait but knew I HAD to start by 11am to be able to be home in time (I wanted a full set & a pedicure, I know how long both take on average).When I finally left the parking lot at 11:10am no one had arrived. Another woman also arrived, checked the door at 11am and returned to her car to wait as well. No one called me to let me know if anything had happened - they have posted on IG today, so clearly they opened at some point. They also had my phone number and could have reached out to let me know if something had happened, I mean I get that things happen.Really, really bad service and I drove over 30 minutes, one way, for Tracy & her nail art for literally nothing.So be aware - if you make an appointment they may or may not show 🤷🏼♀️Editing to add : thank you for the response, while I think its something thats probably just copy & pasted.There honestly isnt anything to be done at this point - I wasted over an hour of my time and gas for no reason and dont want to come back based on the other reviews I have read about how unprofessionally this salon handles appointments. I honestly feel silly I didnt read the reviews first (there is literally one from YESTERDAY about how a woman had the exact same experience I had).I left the review to hopefully spare anyone else from attempting to make an appointment and then having to go home after no one showed up.

Unfortunately, this salon is unreliable and I would not recommend it because theres a risk youll waste your time. I had an appointment today, and when I arrived, the lights were off and no one was there. I waited for 20 minutes past my appointment time, and even knocked on the door, but no one showed up. This was in the middle of the day on a weekday, at a time when both their website and the sign on their door said they should be open. Plus, I had an appointment!I understand that things come up, but I never received a call asking to reschedule or letting me know. This would have been my first time here, but I will not be returning as they are clearly unreliable and it was a waste of my time.
When I started getting acrylic nails again I tried a few different nail salons before I found Fabulous Nails. Now that I’ve been to Fabulous Nails I won’t go anywhere else! My nails are always high quality (I don’t have to go home and clean them up like I did with other nail salons) and they are always very friendly. I am definitely loyal customer!
This place is ah-mazing! First to preface I havent had my nails done in years as the one and only nail salon I had ever been to gave me warts around my finger nails. I was luckily able to get rid of them however needles to say after getting rid of them, years later Im still anxious about it. However since I am on the cusp of my college graduation I needed something special.I came here with a friend and I got a gel polish change and she got a full set with 3D flowers. Both of our nails looked spectacular. Kim took extra time to make sure that I felt comfortable with the process. She got me all fresh stuff and even soaked stuff in alcohol. She spent a lot of time helping me pick my color. Im very indecisive. The shape was perfect! She talked to me about her puppy which I especially enjoyed. The results are great and we felt very welcome here. The ladies are lovely and good at what they do. Very clean shop and I would highly recommend. Especially if youve had a bad past experience like me. They care!
I LOVED my nails! I had a great experience here. I was a first time customer and had a pedicure and manicure with design. First of all, my pedicure was out of this world. I feel like I have new skin!! The place was clean, the staff was friendly, they had partitions and masks, and there was only 1 person at the pedicure and 1 person at the manicure station. Theyre definitely taking things seriously which is awesome. I showed a photo from Pinterest of the design I wanted and they said it was no problem. Ive been to other salons locally that would say no, they didnt have the time or the materials or something. Not only did they have the stuff but they honestly improved on the design! Taking into account my nail shape/size and my skin tone. See the photo, this place is incredible! Will definitely be back. Oh and you can pay with venmo! So easy.
Confused and upset. I seen the reviews. And pictures. I thought this was going to be a great experience and it came up so short of anything but good. Im just sad. The older lady who did my nails got irritated with me when I told her I NEEDED them short. I thought the length WAS MY choice? And Im paying $50 for your attitude? Oh..ok. I tried to talk to her, she wouldnt. I havent had my nails done in over 6 months. This stupid visit meant a lot to me and the experience was so poor. Wasnt therapeutic at all and that was why I even went in the first place. My nails ended up chunky and uneven. She apparently cant do coffin shape. Ive had them done with short nails before in GA and they turned out beautiful. She knicked me 3 times by my cuticles and I bled. She didnt even care. At the end, she put a drop of oil on cuticle edges, took her index finger and ever so awkwardly slid the oil up my finger, almost to my middle knuckles. It made no sense. Ive had people give my hands a light oil and lotion message before.Im just sad and depressed over this. Its whatever. Ill never go back. Thats for sure.
So happy with my nails from Fabulous Nails & Spa! They did a wonderful job on my full set of acrylics. I needed them done for a wedding the next day and she was able to fit me in! What a great job! Will definitely be back ❤️
I’m absolutely in love with my nails!! She did an amazing job and they are exactly what I wanted. Called a head to make sure they had an opening wand they got me right in! I will definitely be back
I’ve gone here a couple times and liked it, the younger gal does a great job with the designs and the quality is good. I will not be going back though. After a rough day of receiving bad news I left work a little early and arrived at 5, aware they closed at 7 and that having an appointment would be better but I couldn’t make one online for the same day so I thought I would just pop in with enough time to get acrylics anyway. There were 3 people getting their nails done, one of the techs was going back and forth between 2, but they told me I could be seen and to pick out a color. After an hour of waiting they wasted my time “clipping” my nails for another hour until the other nail tech was finished with the 2, which I was willing to wait for anyway. I’m guessing they were afraid I was going to leave so she sat me down to ensure I stayed. Harassed me about not making an appointment, told me to put a smile on my face when I was visibly upset, and left me with a “we had a hard day too, there’s only two of us working.” Just extremely insensitive and unprofessional. I went in hoping to feel a little bit better, or at least respected, and left 3 hours later feeling 10x worse.Their quality is good, but it’s not dramatically better than a couple other close by salons that treat people with humanity. I would recommend avoiding. But if you must, make sure you make an appointment days in advance.
I went here after having my last set butchered and I was really nervous about this service but they did absolutely fabulous. I was absolutely buggin over my nails. I 100% recommend them and will be going back again very soon!
Went for the first time yesterday! I’ve been getting my nails done every 2 weeks for almost a year now and I just go where ever is convenient for me. But this place really out did themselves! Best manicure ever! I got the dip powder (it’s the only thing that lasts and doesn’t cause my nails to break). Definitely going back when I need them done again!!
I am new to the Ypsi/Ann arbor area and I have been looking for a salon that meets what I need out of a nail salon (especially worth the $) and Fabulous nails was perfect! I made an appointment and was told upon arrival that they were busy and asked for me to come back, to a Normal person that would be a good reason for a bad review but not for me. When I got back I was immediately put into a chair and the work began. Tracy is the owner and she did an amazing job, she was very nice and I appreciate her honesty in the wait times. ( we have all been to a salon that told us 10 mins but it was really 40) I will be returning. They maybe short staffed but in my opinion they are worth the wait! Thank you Jessica for getting me started and Tracy for taking care of me!
I booked my appointment online and it was confirmed the next day so I appreciated how quick they were. The service itself was also very quick and I loved the result!
Clean shop, friendly customer service. Left with a full set of acrylics w/gel polish and nail art that turned out much prettier than I imagined. I would keep this place in mind the next time I want to get my nails done :)
I love Tracy and her quality of work. She will do just about anything you want her to do and she can usually get me in same day when I call.
I love going to Tracy for my acrylics! My only issue is my appointment being pushed back an hour and 30 minutes. If you have extra time, lovely place to go! Will definitely be back ❤️🔥
I have had several really good experiences at Fabulous The ability to get an appointment quickly is a huge deal for me, because my schedule is very erratic and busy.Both nail technicians I have had (lisa & tracy?) did an awesome job!Perfect shaping and excellent quality, also a pleasure to chat with.Love love love this place
This salon is extremely accommodating to walk-ins and very fairly priced. Tracy is amazing at nail art and gave me a full set of acrylics and then hand painted the solar system on for me. I was so impressed!!!!!!!!! If you are looking for something unique and beautiful, definitely book a manicure with her.
Went in for the first time today. Im new to Michigan & needed to find my go to salon. I have to say I was not disappointed! Not sure what the ladies names were that worked on me(Full set & pedi) but they both did a great job. Definitely will be coming back!
Really great experience with Tracy! Booking online was easy and I had a picture of what I wanted. Tracy made sure that my nails looked exactly like the picture and she was really accommodating. She was also really nice even though it was a little busy. Would definitely recommend!
This place was so nice, clean and friendly. The girl who did my nails, Tracy, did a fantastic job. i’ve wanted to get my nails done in an ombré for so long but nobody was able to or they didn’t do it right, but she did amazing! I will definitely be coming back here to get my nails done, every time! Thank you so much!
I absolutely love this salon! They got us in right on time when we booked an appointment, they were thorough and did a wonderful job on my pedicure. The technicians were friendly and made you feel super comfortable. I definitely recommend checking them out!
Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The lady who did my nails (I forgot to ask her name) was very sweet and did such a good job. I showed her a photo of nails that I wanted and she made them look just like it! I usually dont get my nails done but now I want to come back more! Best nail salon experience.
The staff was very nice and my nails looked nice when they were initially done, but my mani pedi took 2.5 hours for a basic gel polish. I went with a few friends and we all got the same thing but were charged different prices for no reason. None of our polish lasted more than a few days before it started splitting and chipping.Also, I can see that this business likes to respond to bad reviews which is 100% fine but Im not going to be responding. Frankly, theyve gotten enough of my time.
Worst pedicure I have Ever had. They don’t ask how short you want your nails they just chop them off so upset
My experience here was incredible. I came in with botched acrylics from another salon and was able to get my current acrylics fixed to exactly what I wanted. The girls were so incredibly sweet and made sure I got out in time to make it to another scheduled event. I will absolutely be making the 45 minute drive back in two weeks, fabulous is my new go-to nail salon! ♥️
I booked an appointment for today. They confirmed it with several emails. The website even says they’re open but when I went there they were closed. I was trying to get my nails taken off because one of them was bothering me and I’ve just had to take it off myself since I wasn’t able to have my appointment today. I will also add almost every time I came here (by appointment) I always had a wait whether it was an hour or 4. My friends all said to me “you have such good patience to sit there for that long”. They don’t do a bad job but the wait times are horrible even with appointments and the last few times I went there the manager would push me off to other people even though she did my nails for the first majority of visits I had. She would often start doing my nails and have someone else start helping me when a new person walked in. So someone who comes after me has priority?
Best nail salon i’ve ever been to. It’s very clean inside and Traci, the nail tech, did an amazing job on my nails. They keep prices reasonable while still providing a high quality experience and product. Will never go to another place again
I am very happy with the service that I received at Fabulous Nails. My nail tech was Tracy and she was so sweet and kind. I waited about 20 minutes after my intentional appointment, but Tracy didnt rush and made sure to ask me if I was okay with everything she was doing. I didnt have anything spectacular done to my nails, just a basic mani but I appreciate the care and attention she gave to my nails and me. I look forward to going back for more services.

As a native Midwesterner, I am a big fan of how we are known for our kind and welcoming personalities. This is why I am so disappointed in this salon. My wife is shy and avoids conflict even if it means hurting herself. How can a salon exploit that? She was told to sit and wait in the salon chair, which she did. After 20 minutes of awkwardly sitting in the chair silently; someone came to shape her nails but left shortly to attend to someone else. After an hour, not an exaggerated hour but a legitimate hour, she mustered up the courage to ask for help. Without hesitation, one of the workers gave a bland and unapologetic excuse to why they forgot her.My wife came with her sister so she checked in with her. As she was talking with her sister, she was told she would no longer be serviced. There was no explanation why. She was confused and hurt, she didn’t do anything wrong but still quietly left. As she waited outside in the cold she left an honest review of her experience. Her sister quickly finished up and paid her $150 bill. But in her rush to leave she forgot her coat and came back in to retrieve it. Upon leaving, one of the salon workers stopped her and berated her on how my wife didn’t leave a good review. Her husband had to come in to confront them, even after there wasn’t a single apology or any attempt to try and set things right. I have never in my life seen something so shameful. All the good nail reviews in the world can’t take back this absurd experience.
If you want the best acrylics in the area, go to Tracy! Her work is so precise and detailed. I know that I can show her a picture and be certain I’m getting something even better! There’s a TV always playing something fun to pass the time. The experience overall is incredible, highly recommend!
The ladies were all very nice and helpful. They kept asking every step of the way if I was happy with how my nails looked. They were gentle and did not rush. The salon was also clean (they sanitized the chairs between every person) and quiet. Overall, a good experience. My nails look very nice as well!
I’ve been there a few times in my experience has been fantastic every time. They have great colors for your nails. And they do the best pedicures. Also she does an amazing job on my nails. I will definitely recommend this place to friends family and anyone else. I will definitely be going back.
I am blown away by Tracys talent! My result looks even better than my inspiration picture. Shes also very personable, hygienic, and gentle. Decent price for the quality too. I definitely recommend calling ahead and making an appointment and being specific with what you want because although walk ins are welcome, this isnt the place to go for fast mediocre services.
Finally found a nail salon with a fantastic nail artist - Tracy - and more options for color than Ive seen anywhere. A whole wall of dip nail to choose from, and seemingly endless options (& finishes) in polish and gel as well.
If I could leave zero stars I would! People make appointments for a reason. I booked an appointment and wasn’t even helped for 45 minutes after the appointment time. Even then it wasn’t with the person I specifically booked my appointment with. First and last time I’ll ever go. No respect for customers time. My appointment was at 5. A guy painted my feet at 5:45 and Tracy didn’t even start my nails until 6:20.
I had an amazing first experience here today! I got a dipping powder manicure as well as a pedicure and they were so sweet and professional. They did an amazing job and really took their time! I will definitely be back.

Needed a fill while I was home for the weekend and I’m so glad I came here! They were prompt and efficient but also great conversation and made sure I was happy every step of the appointment. Also - my nails look great! This will definitely be my go-to salon when I’m in town.

I am not a complainer, I actually a very patient person but today I feel is necessary to make a review and comment about the disrespect from the two nail technician at the place. When I arrived they let me know They we’re booked but could make an appointment for met in approximately 2 1/2 hours for manicure and pedicure. 2 1/2 hours later the nail technician sits down with me ask me what I want I said acrylic and she says she doesn’t do acrylic. Her response was to move onto the next client and left me by myself at the table the other technician the one who booked my appointment continue to take care of her current client. I felt so disrespected, me waiting for two hours was like nothing to them. I asked thus not ok and their answer was that I didn’t say I needed acrylic. Not even an apology. Their attitude was dismissive as If it was my fault and I owed them something. One of them told me with the biggest arrogant attitude that they were trying to be efficient. It not only about efficiency, it is about quality and even beyond that it is about respect. About respect for a potential new client and even above that it was about respect for people. Ladies :) An apology would have done it.

Amazing job! Kim painted my nails with a design brought in from Pinterest perfectly. She played around with different ideas and took her time painting the perfect piece of art for me.
Worst. service. ever. they are so very rude. they have more clients coming in than they have staff. i came in with my sister to get our nails done for her wedding. we made an appointment for the both of us at 10am. i only wanted to get my nails done and my sister, the bride to be, wanted to get mani, pedi, and waxing.we came in there and they told us to sit. they had three staff and two of them were attending to a client. the one that was free attended to my sister. after 20 minutes, a staff finally came to me as my sister was almost done with her nails. it was fine and all and i didn’t mind it. she started cutting and shaping my nails but then she left to attend to another client. i sat there for over an hour after that. waiting. when i finally asked them about this, they said that they thought i wanted to be done at the same time as my sister that was doing more than i was. i told them that i was planning to walk around the stores outside instead of just sitting here. they said that they could do my nails now. and i told them that i wanted to talk to my sister first. as i was talking to my sister, one of them came in and said that they’re not going to do my nails anymore. i said ok and just left after.mind you that during this time, they had another client waiting to get service. they take way more clients than they have staff. literally the worst experience ever.edit: they got angry at my sister because i left this review. basically scolded her because they didn’t like bad reviews. they also stopped waxing her properly right after this incident which is very unprofessional as my sister didn’t even say anything at all. i honestly had never left bad reviews before, but they are super rude that i had to.
I come every 2 weeks and the employees are super nice and do a great job on my nails! Ive also had my brows waxed and they look great!
I never post reviews, but I have to ... I had a Terrible experience. I will never come back. Always remember, the customers are the reason your business is even open. I don’t believe the customer is always right, but I do believe if you make an appointment and arrive on time to it, you should be serviced at that time. Learn to respect others time just like we are showing we respect yours when we call to make an appointment and arrive on time. I was understanding about this until Tracy had the worst attitude and she was the one who decided to double book herself and make ppl wait.Clearly there are several complaints about this and no changes have been made. You will never get another dime of my money and I will tell family and friends not to come here as well. Never again. Humble yourself.

Absolutely gorgeous work! Tracy is a queen! Ive struggled to find someone who is proficient with long stiletto nails for so long, and she knocks them out of the park!
As am I sitting here to let my toenails dry I just would like to say that I am in love with this place. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The service is prompt. I had a shellac manicure done by Kim and she did wonderful! Thin layer as I like it and perfect shape. My pedicure was done by Ana and I loved every minute of it! I got the paraffin one and the extra time spent on the massage was wonderful. They all work as a team and that’s another plus. Highly recommend this salon!
Ive been going to Fabulous Nails for almost a year now and I love it! My first experience was when I got a full set of ombre acrylics and they were absolutely perfect. Ive continued to go back there for acrylic fills and now just shellac manicures, and I leave feeling great every single time. Ive recently seen Kim for my shellac manicures, and she is the best! Everyone is really nice and friendly. Im not going anywhere else!
Amazing prompt service! Very sweet and professional! They took time and did my eyelashes amazingly! It was so good, I added nails and a wax and all turned out 10/10!! Everyone should come here!!!
I was really fortunate to find Tracey after the place I had been traveling to for some time was not able to see me after I drove an hour for a full set or fill. (It’s been so long I honestly don’t remember) I think it’s been at least a year I have been seeing Tracy Pre and Post COVID. It’s super important to me 1) the hygiene of the overall space of the business 2) the tools and 3) the professionalism of the person doing my nails. Finally, is this an artist. Some girls don’t need it but I that girl where “creative beauty is EVERYTHING” so one time there was a hiccup with schedule online and Tracy Text me online and fixed because I have events and plan. She that night-like a boss found a time that worked within 2 days of original schedule for us both. Everywhere I go people ask me about my nails. My time with Tracy is SACRED. I CAN SAY WITH CONFIDENCE…I will throw myMoney at her until one of us perishes for my nails.

I love this place and they are so kind and take their time. I LOVED the lady who did my nails, I think she’s the owners mom. I love love love her. She dealt with my hairy legs 😭 but I got the ERBAL MANICURE; totally get that! So worth the price!
This was a new place for me so I was hesitant but hoping for the best. My regular location never has any openings when Ive tried to schedule an appointment. But I am very happy with my mani and gel nail color that I recieved today. I will plan a pedi too for my next visit.
This is the third time going to this shop I have been with the same lady for four years and coming to fabulous nails has been a great choice. I have let Tracey choose my designs and she has done a great job. I even took my oldest daughter there and she had so much fun her nails lasted a lot longer than they have before.
Tracy is amazing! She always does the most beautiful designs on my nails. She is definitely my favorite nail tech in Ann Arbor. I’ll never go anywhere else!

Awesome nail salon! Very clean and wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful! Tracy did an amazing job on my dip for my nails and the color and design on my toes and Anna did an amazing job on my pedicure, she took her time and didn’t rush through like some places. I was up her from SW Michigan for a Dr appt at U of M and decided to stop to get my nails done. After reading some reviews I decided to try them out and I’m so glad I did! Will definitely come back if I’m in the area. I wish they weren’t 3 hrs away from me! I Highly recommend them!
After being a dedicated and loyal customer for nearly 2 years, I have decided to seek service elsewhere. Overall, most of my visits were okay aside from spending a number of hours (4+) there during each appointment.My last appointment was on 6/19, prior to leaving I asked Kim if we could schedule 3 future visits (7/10, 7/23, and 8/19) for some upcoming events that I am scheduled to attend. Before I left on 6/19, she scheduled one (7/23) of the 3 appointments that I requested. On 6/22 I received a response asking if I can do 7/8 instead. I provided my response immediately. On 6/30 I reached out again to see if there were any updates and received a reply on 7/1 asking me if I wanted to schedule both appointments for 11:15AM - I responded to her indicating that the times offered are not good for me due to having to work (but she already knew that). NO REPLY. Assuming that shes busy or short on time, on July 5th I decided to go online to schedule an appointment for the day and time that I needed service (7/15). Today (7/12), I finally received a reply from Kim indicating that she was not available on that day because she has another customer booked.Im typically not one to complain as I KNOW things happen, but the inconsideration of my time and schedule is DISRESPECTFUL.A little ORGANIZATION, COMMUNICATION, and MUTUAL RESPECT can go a long ways. I have nothing personal against Tracy and Kim, but professionally they have proven to be a disappointment. Hopefully this review provides motivation for them to make sure that their books align with the appointments made online. Im so pleased to find this gem. Tracy and her staff are skilled and professional and took good care of my hands, feet, and nails. I went twice while visiting my son in Ypsi and plan to return whenever I am visiting from Switzerland.
Just had the best pedicure Ive ever had. We did the deluxe pedicure and it was so relaxing and my feet look fabulous! The experience was great. Both ladies were super nice. I felt comfortable being there they are taking great covid precautions! Highly recommend. This will become my regular pedi stop!

Amazing nail salon! If you are in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area, do yourself a favor and make this your nail salon! The nail technicians are meticulous in their work and very nice. They take their time and make sure your nails look exactly as you envisioned. I am forever grateful that I was able to get an amazing full set that looked incredibly natural for an important trip, and they have been doing equally as great work for me ever since.I used to be a regular at another Ann Arbor nail salon, but after a bad experience, I found Fabulous Nails. I love the quality of work at Fabulous Nails and now this is the only place I’ll go for manicures and pedicures.
This was the best pedicure I have ever gotten! I did the upgraded one bc my heels were pretty dry and she worked on me for over an hour! Im an extremely satisfied customer!
I hadn’t gotten acrylic nails in a long time as i had been to many not so great salons, but after coming here, i have found a new & reliable place to get my nails done. the prices are fair & they provide high quality work. my nails look great! i do not know her name unfortunately, but the older woman who does pedicures is amazing & gave me the best pedi i’ve ever had. will definitely be back :)
Never on time. I try to book with Tracy everytime I get my nails done & every single time, I have to wait atleast 20 mins and up. Today I had to wait over 45 mins & I got there 5 mins before my appointment time. Ridiculous. Then she put in half the work & gave me a 15- 20 min shellac manicure. Very rushed because I wasnt the only one waiting for almost an hour.Edit: Thanks for responding. I missed my appointment yet messaged you guys within an hour apologizing & explaining how I worked very late the previous night. Plus.. I missed my appointment one time in the last 3-4 months Ive been coming there. You guys make me wait every. Single. Time. I didnt realize wanting to be helped within 30 mins of my appointment time was high expectations. Dont charge Ann Arbor prices if you cant give great service. Yeah my nails ended up looking good AFTER I had to tell Tracy to triple coat the orange tip because the black under it was showing through. Maybe you guys should get better nail polishes as well.

I had a fabulous experience here today with my wife and girlfriend. They were so kind and took care of us!Every single person was so kind and thoughtful. The gentleman even picked up a dropped button rather than let his client get up.I had a pedicure and they both got manicures. Great prices, great kindness, great looking nails on all of us.I cant wait to go back!
The best customer service. All of the technicians take their time and really care about the detail in their work. They are such sweet people, take the time to know every client’s name, and really emphasize that they appreciate your business. I always get compliments on my nails! They listen to exactly what I want and do an amazing job.I used to go to their old salon (with a different name) 3 years ago. I moved away, but came back in January and decided to try Fabulous Nails on a whim. I was so shocked that it was the same employees! They instantly recognized me and still knew my name after 3 years. That speaks to how much they care about their clients. This is the only nail salon I will go to!
I got my an acrylic set, a pedicure, eyebrow wax and underarm wax. I was happy with all the services. I had gone before my wedding with my bridesmaids. They provided amazing service to us all at an affordable price. This will be my new spot for nails.
Love love love this salon! Tracy did a phenomenal job. I’ve lived in ypsi for two years now and had yet to find a nail salon. This salon took what I described to a whole new level. I’ve never been more satisfied. I’ll definitely be back not for just the quality of nails but for Tracy herself! She is awesome!
Kim did my ombre dip in she is so friendly and well mannered, she did a good job. After being around in so many nail salons I can say this is the only one I felt good aboutTracy did my 11 years old daughters nails and she did great job as well. The service is good and friendly staff

The fill in I got was perfect. But my simple pedicure wasn’t. Got shellac started peeling immediately after curing. They took it off and redid it. Later on that day both big toe polish peeled off. This was my first time going here only went because of the good reviews. Won’t be returning. Also I was there for basically 3 hours. Because they kept messing up my pedicure. Never had to be at a nail salon for that long.

I decided to visit Fabulous Nails after doing a little research on nail salons in the area and reading all the great reviews. I live a busy lifestyle, playing sports, and riding horses, and it definitely takes a major toll on my nails...they always look TERRIBLE!I am so glad I decided to get them done...they look gorgeous now, and I dont feel like I want to hide my hands in pictures!Everything was great, and very focused on satisfying the customer, checking to make sure I was happy with length, shape, and color before proceeding. I showed her a photo of a nail design on my phone...and she was able to create the same look on my nails. Very rarely have I ever had that happen so easily!If you are in the market for a new place to have your nails done...this is it!
I get my nails and eyebrows done here all the time. I used to get my nails done once a year but ever since the management has switched over, I’ve been coming more than usual. The women who work here are awesome! They are very nice and work very hard. They always tend to make their customers happy, like myself.. They accept all types of people and treat everyone with the same respect. (Not a lot of nail salons do that).This is my to go place for my pedis & manis. Tracy does amazing job with eyebrows! I love coming here. This place is awesome!!!

Several months ago I had a great experience but it has gone down hill. My appointment was not honored. I spent over three hours there for a pedicure that chipped right away and a gel full set. I will not be back!!! I posted pictures. I was really overcharged for the gel full set.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE getting my nails done here, they are the strongest and healthiest they’ve ever been! The designs they can do are amazing, I love showing people my nails. Never going anywhere else.
Recently moved back to the area and was testing out nail salons and this has definitely become my go to! Great atmosphere with great staff. Tracey and Lisa do amazing work! (I am sure the others do as well, I just have not had them yet!)Very happy with every set I have gotten done and will continue going back! 💕
I had been driving across town to go to another salon but decided to give Fabulous Nails a try for two reasons: 1) the customer service at the other salon was often lacking and 2) I was finding it hard to fit appointments at the other salon into my schedule given that I had to allow for the time it took to drive across Ann Arbor and through the often nightmarish U of M Stadium traffic. Fabulous Nails is a 3 minute drive from my home, making it very convenient.The first time I went to Fab Nails I got a pedicure. I was so happy with the service and results that I went back the next day for a manicure. I am SO glad I finally tried this salon! The staff is skilled, professional, friendly, and courteous. The prices are the same or lower than at the other salon. The decor is modest but the salon is clean. (Good service and a sanitary environment are FAR more important to me than fancy decor when it comes to salons.) Most importantly, I LOVE my manicure! It was my first time getting tips added to my nails and the technician (who happened to be the owner) was extremely accommodating and patient in explaining my options. I thought I wanted long, glamorous nails but after she had expertly applied them, cut them down to length, and filed them to the shape I wanted, I realized that I needed them shorter in order to be able to do things like type and remove contact lenses. I felt like an idiot for not having realized to begin with that really long nails were not going to work for me, but she gladly cut and filed them down for me until I was happy with the length and shape. I also had her shape my brows and they look great.I will definitely be going back to Fabulous Nails in the future. I highly recommend this salon.
I am new to the Ypsi/Ann arbor area and I have been looking for a salon that meets what I need out of a nail salon (especially the $) and Fabulous nails was perfect! I made an appointment and was told upon arrival that they were busy and asked for me to come back, to a Normal person that would be a good reason for a bad review but not for me. When I got back I was immediately put into a chair and the work began. Tracy is the owner and she did an amazing job, she was very nice and I appreciate her honesty in the wait times. ( we have all been to a salon that told us 10 mins but it was really 40) I will be returning. They maybe short staffed but in my opinion they are worth the wait! Thank you Jessica for getting me started and Tracy for taking care of me!
The BEST nail salon!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Great prices, great customer service, so many services provided here, and they do everything exactly the way you like it! Eyelash extensions are a great price and I’ve never been upset with my powder polish manicures!! Love them!!! ❤️❤️ Such sweet workers, too!
I came here because it was recommended to me by a co-worker. A friend and I came to get the dip gel manicure, no tips, and pedicures. My pedicure was okay, but the massage chairs are very old. I could tell the guy who did my nails didnt really have experience doing the dip gel since, Tracy had to keep telling him the process on how to do it. Both my friend and I noticed chipping in the first week. We called to see if we could get them fixed, and they didnt seem to have a problem with that over the phone. But, when we got there we were told that it was our nails being too thin that caused this. Even though the person who did my friends nails even told her, her nails were so strong. And then I felt Tracy was very passive aggressive when she fixed my nails. She kept tapping my fingers hard, and even dug her nail into my skin hard at a certain point for no reason. I could tell she was frustrated, even though my friend and I didnt cause a fuss or get angry. I will not come here again, and will not recommend anyone to come here either. I even asked whats something she would recommend for me since dip powder is supposedly bad for my nails, even though no one said my nails werent fit for it when I got them done. And she told me tips. Im sorry, I used to get tips all the time, but the shaving down on my nails only causes them to be weak and brittle. I havent had acrylics or tips in about 2 years because of this.
It was my first pedicure ever and Nathan took exceptional care of us! I love supporting local business, veteran owned, and genuine members of our community. Fabulous checked all 3 boxes! Ill be bringing my dude friends in soon.
My mom, sister and I went to Fabulous Nails on Sunday for a girls day since I am getting married this Saturday. The positive part about this place is the people are nice. However, I had a very undesirable experience. I dont get my toes or nails done very often. I got a French pedicure. The daughter (Im assuming) of the owners did my toes. The French looked okay, not the best one Ive had, but Im not too picky so I was satisfied. However, the next morning I was at work and looked at my toes and both of my big toes were already messed up (like peeling and/or smudged) and another toe was chipped too. I did not do anything I can recall to mess them up like that. And usually when I get a French it is almost indestructible and last quite a long time. I cannot believe this lasted a day. I am very frustrated because I am getting married on Saturday and now I have to add ANOTHER toe paint to my already long list of things to do. For my nails, I got a manicure with a clear paint because I like a natural look. The mother (Im assuming) cut my cuticles and made 4 of my fingers bleed and one is still sore. Also, one of my fingernails is already peeling. Im not sure if the paints this place uses are cheap or if they dont apply them correctly. Like I stated previously, I dont get my nails done often. But I do not remember having this many issues whenever I used to go. I am very disappointed and do NOT recommend going to this place. We went here because it had good reviews and was on the way to other things we had planned for the day.

The nail artists here are amazing! Real eye for *perfect* shape, color and immensely skillful decoration and design. My best sets I’ve ever had have been from here and I don’t hesitate to go out of my way to get my fill ins done here because I know they’ll be done beautifully every time!
This is one of the most accommodating nail salons that I’ve been to. I came around 6 PM for SNS and a pedicure, but they still took their time and provided excellent service. My nails are beautiful and I’ll definitely be returning!
If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I have been going to fabulous nails for almost a year, and I have never been disappointed. Tracy is so kind, gentle, personanle, and very social and professional all at the same time! I have gone just about every other place years past and will never make the mistake again. If I cant make it to Tracy I had quickly went to someone else and sadly they always ruined my nails and tracy has always fixed their mistakes to where I didnt think it could be fixed. Literally 9 years of nails and Ive never found one i liked until I started going to tracy. Ill never go anywhere else ever again. I love the girls there so much, so dang sweet! To be honest Im shocked there is even anything under 5 stars, dont let bad reviews discourage you from going here. They never let me down and feel right at home 🥰 thank you tracy so much!
This salon was recently acquired by a new owner and it is exactly what their name implies, FABULOUS! Excellent customer service, clean, honest, and they do great work. The new owners have updated just about everything inside. The only thing that I say is negative is that there isnt a lot of parking.I have problem nails so I was getting regular manicures when they told me about a new process called powder dip. I was reluctant to try it as I was also told in the past, at a different salon, that shellac would help my nails (which is a total lie). Long story short, I tried the powder dip and I am now a believer!

Best nail experience I’ve ever had! This was my first full set instead of a basic manicure so I had no idea what to expect. They were so kind and patient with me and helped me make the right decisions of shape and color for what I wanted! This is now the only nail salon I will go to! 💚💚
Lisa does amazing designs and has great attention to detail. Her husband did a great job with an acrylic full set and polish. I can say I had a very good first time experience, very nice people. The shop is up kept, very clean, quite, and no wait for my wall in needs.
This is my new favorite nail salon. The staff is so nice and talented. Even when they are busy they will get you in without sacrificing quality of services. If I could give them 10 stars I would. This is a great nail salon. My nails are always perfect. They really take their time. Today I got a full set with some clear accent nails with butteeflies and glitter. So beautiful
These ladies are incredible!! I was rushing to catch a plane and stopped in only having an hour of time and I got a pedicure and manicure and they both turned out absolutely beautiful!!! These ladies go the extra mile and honestly it was one of the best experiences Ive ever had getting my nails done! I Highly recommend them.
Being new to the area, I researched this place ahead of time. Went in for an acrylic fill which was fine... nothing special and zero interaction with the nail tech. Disappointing. Based on reviews I trusted getting my eyebrows waxed. Huge mistake! I should’ve been alerted when she had me lay on the table in a half lit room! Waxing my eyebrows from behind... yeah I wish I would’ve questioned her at that point! She took off a third of my brow (on the inside)! I literally cried when I got home. I called the salon the next day and the manager offered an eyebrow tint as a solution. What’s there to tint? The skin? No, thank you! I paid $56 for my fill and wax and requested a refund which IMO doesn’t do justice for the disservice. I have yet to receive a refund over a week later. There’s plenty of competition out there. Go somewhere else! Trust me!!
Ive been going to Fabulous since their Grand Opening and Im continuously impressed with their attentiveness to detail and great customer service. When I get pedicures, they massage my feet and legs for a good amount of time. My only advice is that if you are in a hurry or are going with a friend, call ahead and let them know so that they have enough staff on hand. We stopped going to Diva Nails because even though Diva always has enough nail techs, they are sometimes rude and dont consistently do quality work. Fabulous Nails is the place to go!
Tracy did my nails and they look BEAUTIFUL. Fabulous nails by far has the best selection in terms of services, colors, designs, and add-ons (jewels, beads, etc). The salon is clean and all the staff is very friendly. Highly suggest getting your nails done here if you’re in the Ann Arbor area.

I have to say at one time i stopped coming to this shop, but when the new owners took over its become like a BRAND NEW PLACE. i dont have ANY complaints service is phenomenal its definitely a must see experience you have to experience it for yourself. The staff are friendly and patient they really care about your nails and feet or whatever service you get as if it were their own. I appreciate the service rendered and the cleanliness of the place. Id never go to another nail shop ever again. Tracy totally ROCKS

I came in last minute for a pedicure, and Nathan got to work immediately! He was very personable, kind, gentle and did a fantastic job! Hands down one of the best pedicures I’ve ever received! Five stars, absolutely worth going, and I will definitely be returning!
I stopped in for a pink and white fill and based my decision on other reviews. The reviews were right . Excellent job, I asked about a technique I had seen on another review, the pink and white ombre. I had not had this done before and I love how my nails look. Onlt thing i would change is the length and that is my fault. Would highly recommend them and they were great to talk to, very friendly.
The salon itself was clean and pretty but my nail tech was not good at all. She was slow, she didn’t trim my nails on either my hands or feet, she burned my legs with the hot towels. When she did my manicure she filed the tips without trimming or fully shaping the nail even though they were round to begin with. She stopped at least three times during the polish application so that she could send a few texts. She also painted from the edge of my nail over the skin so that when i left the salon the polos was already wrinkling and peeling off. If you’re going to visit this salon please be wary of who your tech is!! I paid $43 for the worst mani/pedi I have ever had!

Im thrifty...and quite use to a basic pedicure being $25, not $30. But the extra detail and overall quality of service, was well worth the price. I also liked my eyebrows. If this is the standard here, this may be my new Ann Arbor go to!

Arrived later on a Friday for a Pedi and Dip Set as a walk-in. They were very accommodating and fit me in and honest about the wait time. All of the staff very professional. The atmosphere is calm. Tracy did an amazing job with my Ombré Dip. My favorite ever! I posted a pic on Google to view. I would definitely recommend them.
Ive come here several times now to get SNS manicures and the technicians are skilled. Ive had good experiences with the quality of work, have recommended it to several friends who have gone, and have previously rated this salon as a 5 star establishment because they are skillful and produce such wonderful results. So I was quite hurt that, having made an appointment for a pedicure, I was made to wait 45 minutes. I made an appointment because I had time constraints and wanted to forego stress involved with scheduling conflicts while I enjoyed time with my friend. I couldnt do so and didnt end up getting polish because it wouldnt have dried in time for me to leave and not ruin it. I was offered to come back and get polish but I can do that myself. The point is that I paid for not only the service but what all that entails: time set aside for the service itself and the opportunity to experience the service itself. I paid for the outcome of feeling foolish.

My final result was really pretty and I definitely think the ladies here know what theyre doing and are very nice. However, I did have to wait quite a while past my appointment time to be helped, and was not communicated with much about what I wanted. The color I got, though quite pretty, definitely didnt really look like the sample I picked from. All in all though, I had a relaxing time and was pleased with the final result of my acrylics.
I had a full set of dip nails done by Alysson {I’ve never gotten them before so I had no idea what to expect} and I am loving them! I can be rough on my nails & they have not chipped at all. She also did a beautiful rhinestone accent nail for me. Go see her!
I dont get my nails done alot, and the last time I did, I was not happy, so this time I tried here, called, they got me in same day even though they were busy, and did a super great job on my full set French manicure, Ill be back!!!! Very nice people too.
They did not service me. I requested an appointment two hours in advance and when I showed up, I didnt show up on their list. They told me they would get me in. Only one tech on a Friday night was able to do acrylic nails. There were 5 people waiting and I wasnt the first in line and then someone who walked in got attended to right away, before the 5 of us. After 45mins of just waiting and not having a place to sit, I was out of there. Then I get an email an hour later saying, thank you for letting us service you. Yeah, okay.

I only get pedicures MAYBE 2 times a year for special occasions. I had tried Diva Nails last time and was unimpressed. I will 100% be back to Fabulous Nails! My pedicure was fantastic and the prices are super competitive! I will be back and will let my friends know.

This place is good. The staff was very friendly and price is competitive. My only complaint is that I wish they had individually wrapped/one time use tools and nail files. Im sure theyre sterilizing their tools, the shop was not dirty at all, it would just make me feel more confident having my nails/toes done here.
This place ruined my day trying to get ready for our wedding. They were extremely rude to my wife her sister, and berated us for being 15 minutes late due to traffic. To top it off, my wife was harassed when getting her coat later about leaving a poor review due to this traumatic experience, making things worse.

Just got done getting our nails and toes done. Me and my bridal party, and my mothers. They did and awesome job. We walked in and they didnt even bat and eye and immediately called reinforcements. Very impressed and will be back!
Easy to find, relatively good price. But it felt a little dirty. Sink area was messy. There was no effort in decor and my first set of acrylics were done messily. Had to go to another place to have them fixed since they were lumpy and mismatched. Went with my friend and they werent overly friendly or outwardly polite. Will not be returning.

Well my appointment was at 3:00pm, and now it’s 4:40 and I haven’t been started yet. I’ve been told several times Its almost my turn and up next.. yet I’m sick of sitting in the waiting area. They are extremely slow with everything. Now I try to be reasonable... I can understand that they don’t cut corners and take their time to give good quality, but they need to work on being on time.
They did a FABULOUS job (haha). But really, my nails look perfect and my eyebrows on point! I have thick eyebrows and its important to me that they are not butchered. I like them to still be thick, but shaped. They did an excellent job. Thanks!
I had to wait but once it was my turn they did a very nice job!! I got ombre nails and they did exactly what I asked for. A lot of places cant do what they did for me. I would 100% recommend this place. One of the best places I have been to minus the wait though which was kind of long.

Although they were friendly, they spoke little english and understood even less I believe. I spent $40.00 on a pedicure that was to include message, hot rocks, and polish. I dont think the guy knew very well what he was doing. He seemed awkward and untrained. When I got home and in beter light I noticed that he didnt clip and file my right toes as the left. And three hours later my polish smeared off as if it was just done. Not to mention the sloppy job of that as well. Not going back. Waist of money. Should have known better, my last encounter there for a full set of nails was dissapointing as well. And no point in arguing with them about the service, they cant understand you.
Big fan of this salon. It is very clean and the ladies who work here are DOLLS! Super great. Tracy did my nails and brows. Would highly recommend this place anyday!
If you want pampering, this is the place to go. Everyone is very nice and accommodating. I get my nails done by Kim and she does a great job! Never a disappointment.
Treated my gf here to get her nails done. They were nice enough to switch on Netflix for me to watch while I waited for her. My girl was very happy with her nails. Thanks for taking good care of her!

My mother & I went there around 6:30 pm on a Saturday after a long day of a funeral and luncheon, we so needed to relax. They stayed pass the close time on the door and didnt skimp on the massage or pedicure. This is my new favorite place Ill definitely go back.
These ladies are amazing! I get the dip powder and it lasts a super long time! Even when I chip the polish because I’m rough with my hands, they always make time to fix it!
Kim is such a great nail artist! I never had the dip powder before, she suggested it and I love it! My nails really went from 0 to 100.

2022-05-11The employees were really kind and helped me make a decision on what design to get. I’m absolutely obsessed with what we chose. The frogs are so cute! I forget to ask the name of the nail tech who did my nails, but he was very careful and paid a lot of attention to detail with shaping my nails and painting the design. The building was clean and tidy along with their tools. I will definitely be coming back! :)

2021-12-18This is by FAR the best acrylic manicure I have ever received. Tracey effortlessly created flawless nail designs in less than 10 minutes! She also accommodated my late appointment by staying open late (if you want elaborate designs book an earlier appointment!) and it all was EXTREMELY well-priced. In LA this would cost a couple hundred, honest. Thank you!

2021-11-19Words cannot express the hard work and attention to detail Tracy and her mother have! These two ladies are amazing! Any time I have a picture of what I’m thinking of having done, Tracy can match it and add some of her own flair to it! Her mother is so gentle and sweet when it comes to pedicures. If it wasn’t ticklish, I would definitely fall asleep when I get a pedicure.I love that they have scheduling online! Makes it so much easier when I’m working nights and break a nail and need it fixed. REMEMBER: it is just Tracy and her mother working. You may have to wait longer than normal but these ladies are worth the wait. If you have somewhere to be after your appointment, mention it to Tracy and she will be able to move things along quicker or she might be able to schedule you in later.I have been coming here since Tracy took over as owner. If you want something specific or you don’t like the way something turned out. Talk to Tracy! She wants your nails to be just the way you want them! This picture is exactly what I wanted! We talked about it before she even started, so I knew exactly what I was getting. ALSO: if you use your nails as tools like I do at work, let her know, she’ll make sure they last until your next appointment or fill!

2022-01-03Update: I found a private nail specialist in Chicago, and now I know what’s professionalism. This nail salon doesn’t do builder gel before the colors, making it really dangerous when nails grow longer. Besides, private nail specialists understand nail arts better, make appointments on time, have more patience and better attitudes. I’ll never return to the nail salon again.Original review:I wish I could give 4.5 stars, but I cannot. So I’d tell more about my experience with WORDS.Overall, good technique, bad attitudes. There’re a lot of nail salons in Ann Arbor, but only some of them do ombré nails. This salon is one of them. I brought a photo of the pattern I liked, and they did EXACTLY what I wanted, with a price lower than expected. However, staff don’t always have a good attitude. The boy was warm and very friendly, but I believe he was here only in summer. One of the women staff didn’t do perfect English. The other women staff didn’t seem very patient, but do perfect nails.My suggestions first:1 They are professional with nails. So if you have a relatively difficult nail pattern in mind and don’t wanna take any risks on your nails, come to this salon.2 If you make an appointment on phone, make sure they understand the service you want and your special needs (nail art, ombré nails, etc.), if there’s any. Not every staff has these technique.3 Make an appointment on a time you have nothing else to do that day. In other words, expect to wait for random minutes- from 10min to 1hr, according to other reviews - even if you have an appointment. They are pretty busy.4 If you only want a simple single color manicure or if you don’t have much patience waiting in line, don’t come.5 If you love chatting with staff or if you’re always expecting humbleness when being served, I won’t recommend this place to you.So my experience was: I made an appointment at 5, but when I arrived they found they misunderstood the service I asked for on phone and thus postponed my appointment to 6:15. That was fine, I went to have lunch in a nearby restaurant (JJ Crab House was amazing!). I waited for about 10min after 6:15 (they were REALLY BUSY!) before I was finally served by the boy, who did a great manicure for me. After that the woman staff specialized in nail art finished her previous customer, and did ombré nails for me according to the photo I showed her.

2021-11-19Worst service ever! The only reason I came here is because I got a gift certificate for my birthday! I got a fill in for shellac nails and you can see the bump from the old acrylic the shape is horrible! They keep switching from one girl to the other. The girl who finished my nails kept asking the owner what thing to use next! I’m sure not coming back!!! Horrible service!! IM SO UPSET MY NAILS NEVER LOOK THIS HORRIBLE!! WHAT A WASTE OF MY MINEY!! Don’t go to this place!!!

2022-04-20I went here for a pedicure with my husband....he made the appointments for us....when we got there we were immediately taken care of!!! The staff were all super friendly and professional....I was surprised at how many different color choices they offer....regular polish...gel color ... acrylic and dip!!! Also their prices are very reasonable!!! For the super pedicure it was $50....this included a lot of extras that were well worth it to feel pampered!!! Another cool thing is they take Venmo!!! I would highly recommend heading to Fabulous Nails if youre looking for any nail services...including super cool nail art....they also offer waxing....eyebrow tinting....and eyelash extensions!!! So you could one stop shop for a ton of beauty things!!! I know I will head back there next time Im in need of nail services....theyre going to be my new go to nail salon!!!
