Comment: Rooms were fine, service was fine, people working the front desk and the valet were exceptionally nice. The location was fantastic. A quick 5-8 minute walk to the gates for Disneyland cant be beat.Super happy with our stay here and the McDonalds and Panera that are next door saved us a ton of money too.

Comment: If I could I would give more than 5 stars ⭐. Hospitality, clean, and professional service. Made requests for room service and it was taken care of quickly. Everything in the room in working condition. Parking 🚐- Willys Valet team are awesome. They brought my vehicle quickly. They were professional and kind, always smiled 🙂 . It was me and my family of 7. I would def. Stay at this hotel again when I come to Disneyland 🎡 and CA adventure parks🎢. Walking distance from the parks and food nearby too.

Comment: Upon arrival, we checked in and went to our room, it was a mess, no one cleaned the room the bed wasn’t made & there was trash scattered around from the previous person, we had to wait for someone to go clean it and replace the bedding. The next day, we had issues with the water, our shower would not heat up, only cold water would come out. They only came in to do room service once in the 5 days we stayed here. Very quick walk to Disney, A/C works great, small shop downstairs along with beverages and snacks.

Comment: We love it we always stay here when we come to Disneyland June 24th was our third time booking with them this time was 4 nights. The pool was warm, front desk and valet parking are so nice. The little store inside lobby is quick snack, souvenir stop a bit pricey but does the job.

Comment: Pretty great for our little family of 4! good location and the rooms were tidy and really good use of space. they have the closet and bathroom in a separate space and the shower and toilet in there which can be separate too so everyone can get ready in their own space! pack and play was assembled for us with beddings already and first floor is right off the pool area. took us only 10 mins walking to disneyland

Comment: The only thing this hotel has going for it is a location 10 minutes from Disney … On second thought, there are SO many other hotels equal distance with far better service and in better condition, so I strongly suggest staying elsewhere. First off, this is more like a motel out of the 1950s, old noisy air conditioning units, hard concrete like floors, and rusty rails with outside entrance that felt dangerous at times with outside noise, people arguing and banging doors.Worse still is the poor service. I called and messaged the hotel staff to ask for extra pillows. towels, tissue and toilet paper. As of 9:28 pm, they did not bring any tissue . We arrived with a 1/4 full tissue box and it was empty in 2 hours. So we went 1 1/2 days with no tissue . I also advised them that my sheets and comforter were itching me and asked that they change them anytime between 12-4 pm. As of 9:30 pm, no clean sheets or comforter . I got bitten by some kind of insect. When I messaged to complain, I was going to bed early at 8:30 pm asked that manager contact me in the morning. Instead they keep messaging me and the alerts kept me awake . They continued after I asked them to stop. Also they brought pillows at 7 am, waking us up, even though I asked them to wait till after 12 pm. I am still awaiting a response from the manager, but based on my experience, I don’t feel welcome as a silver member nor do I feel comfortable with the cleanliness and poor service. So unless they refund my points and $$, I will stay elsewhere.

Comment: As someone who stays at Marriott properties often this hotel fails to meet some minimum expectations. Our stay at this hotel was an absolute disaster. We were told we would have conjoining rooms at check in which we requested, but when we arrived at the room we found out that wasn’t the case.Upon entering our room, we were disgusted to find it filthy. There were crumbs in the bed, dirty floors, and hair all over the bathroom. Clearly, cleanliness is not a priority here. The air conditioner was so loud it sounded like a lawnmower, making it impossible to sleep. To top it off, the toilet didn’t flush properly, causing everything to float back up—a truly revolting experience. As if all this wasn’t bad enough, they wouldn’t allow us to park on the property for a mere three hours after check-out. Overall, this hotel stay was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Avoid this place at all costs!

Comment: Genius over here ( that would be me) ignored 2 stop signs that said you had to turn right to exit the premises.( I though that area of the parking lot was for valet only for some reason). But credit to the valet guy for not calling me a total dumb a$$. ( only a partial dumb@$$!. Ha!)So, I had a total lapse in common sense, but Valet helped me through it.

Comment: I stayed two nights at the end of May 2024. Unfortunately, the first night was not an enjoyable stay. There was so much noise going on around the room I did not sleep more than a couple of hours that night. The room I was assigned was right across from the waterpark at the hotel next door. The noise coming from the waterpark was very loud until after 10:00pm. Then there was the air conditioning unit in the room. It was a bit warm, so I had the AC on. When the AC unit turned on, it made a terribly loud noise the entire time it was running. This also kept me from being able to sleep. Additionally, many of the guests in the rooms near mine were extremely loud until very late, until well after midnight. I got up feeling quite unwell the next day. Later that day I spoke to someone at the front desk about my room issues and asked about having my room changed. At first, the hotel employee offered to have a technician check out the AC. I expressed that if that was all that could be done, then yes please. Thankfully they asked for the manger to help me. I want to take this opportunity to show my appreciation for the Rooms operation manager, Charles Castle, who made me feel like I was a valued guest. I explained all the issues I was having with the room and how terrible I was feeling because I did not sleep very much. Charles was very understanding and considerate. I was given a room on a higher floor away from the noise. I had a very quiet, restful sleep that night. Being a Disneyland Magic Key holder, I will be staying overnight in Anaheim quite a lot this year. I will definitely consider staying at the Fairfield Anaheim resort in the future.

Comment: Alright a lot to unpack here. The check in was seamless and we were able to check in early at 9 am for a $50 fee. This was nice because we landed in LAX at 6:15 am.We absolutely loved being right across from the park. Our second day, we hit a wall and went back to the room for a nap and snack break with the kiddos then went back later that evening. We were able to see the fireworks from our doorway as well which was a nice touch. What they don’t tell you is that the parking is $27 a night extra regardless if you use valet or if you self park, so that was annoying. They also block off 3/4 of the parking spots for valet with white cones so it forces you to use the service. Positive spin, it’s cheaper than parking at the park.Pros: customer service, clean rooms, ice cold water always read at the hotel entrance, nice pool, game room (didn’t use it), nice view, good food options around that are walking distanceCons: small rooms for the price per night (varies per season), PARKING!!

Comment: This is our go to Disneyland hotel. You cant beat the location, staff and hotel. This past week, I had two rooms reserved and due to my son becoming extremely ill, I had to cancel one room on the day we should have arrived. I called the hotel in somewhat of a panic and Eli answered. I was very frazzled to say the least and couldnt find my Marriott rewards # and he walked me through the steps to find it on the app. He was beyond polite and sympathetic and even waived the cancellation fee. Turns out, my son has pneumonia so I made the right decision cancelling this trip. I want Eli to know how much I appreciate him and his kindness in my moment of chaos and having to cancel a long awaited Disneyland trip. A little compassion goes a long way and in todays World, it means a lot. This is just one reason this hotel is our go-to Disneyland hotel and another reason we will never stay anywhere else.

Comment: Stayed here in May 2024 when things were just swapping over to new ownership, and you couldnt tell from how helpful the staff were. Everyone from the parking attendant to the front desk to the security person were cheerful and helpful. The main floor store is well stocked and it was very helpful to have on-site laundry half-way through our stay. The rooms are showing a bit of age but they were clean and the beds and pillows werent lumpy. Like many places, be prepared to pay for wi-fi. Cant beat the location if youre walking to/from Disney, its close enough to come back for a nap or swim mid-day to get a break.

Comment: Room was out of conditioner in shower. Never got filled. Was missing hand soap. For a Disney theme room with 2 queens and a fold out coach bed, there was only 2 towels. Room was quiet even though surrounded by rooms full of families. Never heard anything outside. Quick walk to entrance of the Disney parks. Nearby food and convenience stores at neighboring hotels. They charge double for bottles of water than nearby hotels though.

Comment: As a frequent travel enthusiast, myself and my family have always stayed at Marriott hotels. In fact during a time of crisis in our lives, this was our immediate choice. So now that I am celebrating a momentous occasion such as my engagement we decided to to stay at the Fairfield by Marriott in Anaheim. This combined bachelor and bachelorette party was meant to be enjoyable, joyful, and a time of celebration. So we had two rooms prepared, one with all the gentlemen and one with all the ladies.Late in the evening on the second night of our stay, I received a call from my fiance obviously worried, emphasizing that their door would not lock. I reassured her and went to their room to look over anything they might have missed. Sure enough, the locking mechanism, whether defective or malfunctioning, would not lock. I had her lock the door from inside multiple times and every time I was able to simply open the door from the outside. We call maintenance and they come and fix the issue. The following morning shortly after returning from a workout, the ladies communicated that the issue had indeed not been fixed and the door was able to be opened from the outside by anybody, at any point during the night when they were sleeping. This is incredibly concerning and exclaims an extremely worrisome dilemma as not the probability that anyone would, but the fact that anybody could have simply walked into the room in which my fiance, her little sister, and their friend slept, in their pajamas not fully clothed. This presses the significance of the matter of safety as this hotel is a frequent destination for families and parents often with young children. A matter of this gravity should have been dealt with a reflective empathy and care. Or so i expected. When I made my way down to speak to the manager, I was asked to wait after having expected that at least the issue was communicated amongst the team. It was not. After waiting a while, I was told that I could not be seen at the time and that I would be called at a later more convenient time. AGAIN, the course of resolving the issue severely under weighs the weight of the problem. After a while I was approached by a different manager to whom the entire problem was communicated and then a possible resolution was proposed. I did not hear back or receive any updates the rest of that day and had to find myself explaining myself yet again to now a different manager to whom kept referring to the first manager who did not, and apparently STILL had no time to resolve the issue. The importance of these dilemmas yearn for the excellence in personal customer service and yet it seemed like this person simply could not be bothered with the matter. So what was finalized was a comp for one night out of the four nights our stay. The safety of my fiance, her little sister, and their friend could not warrant the care and attention of the actual manager and apparently is only worth a single nights stay. The abrasive lack of empathy and care regarding the matter and precarious attempts at problem resolution is more than enough to concretize the fact that Marriott is not a place that feels safe and guests are valued. These distinguish why such a place is not likely to be recommended to anyone and why it will no longer be an option for travel moving forward. - EM

Comment: The room was fairly clean but definitely looking a bit outdated. A little bare and basic I would say but it’ll do just for a night. I didn’t intend to stay here for Disneyland which was right across the street but this was the cheapest Marriott hotel I could find that’s close to the beach. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Overall my stay here went well and nothing bad happened but the experience was a little too minimal for my liking.

Comment: Do not stay at this hotel. If I could rate it zero stars, I would. It was very apparent that the chambermaid stole $700 worth of jewellery from our room, as we noticed within minutes of arriving back to our room after a few hours at the parks that the jewellery was missing, and hotel records showed access to the room by only the maid while we were out. The hotel proceeded to investigate, which involved asking the maid if she stole anything. When the maid replied “no”, the investigation was closed. Of course the perpetrator would say “no”; if she admitted the truth she would have lost her job. The “investigation” was really poorly handled. The safe in the room was too small to accommodate our items and thus the jewelry was placed in a zipped case hidden amongst other items - to find it, one would have had to really look and dig through our personal belongings.Extremely disappointed in the service and the trustworthiness of the staff at this hotel. If you stay here, be warned.

Comment: Like many others have said, the proximity to Disney is perfect. I would imagine most, if not all, are staying here for that reason. Please be aware this is a motel not a hotel, and the entry to the room is from outside the building. The room was fine, but in need of some upgrades for the bathroom and general decor. The toilet did not flush well and the drain in the sink was broken. The walls are thin so you can hear what’s going on in other rooms. My biggest issue was the check in. I knew we’d be arriving early in the day and didn’t expect to get in right away. Check in at 4 though is rather late in the day. When I arrived I did immediately say I’m sure the room is not ready yet but please send me a message when it is as we were going to head for lunch anyhow. The front desk staff said it wasn’t ready, but if we wanted to check in early and pay $50 it suddenly was ready.I do understand this is a ploy to make more money. And if the early check in fee included a room upgrade maybe I would have said yes. But telling me it’s not ready. And then telling me it is if I’m willing to pay is just in poor taste. And then they never did message me to say it was ready when we arrived back at 3:45pm they said we could have the room.As a Marriott, they can’t just rely on being close Disney to allow this type of service. We did change in the lobby washrooms and unpack/repack our bags to get our items for the afternoon when they could have allowed us in the room. Like many other people, we were travelling with small children who would have benefited from getting settled in, changed, having a rest before heading into the heat.I hope the Marriott will look at this policy. I know they get busy with check outs, but it was seemingly no change or rush to prep a room in this case, it was merely a cash grab.

Comment: This hotel is a great option for those looking for a good and affordable hotel. Being only a 10 minute walk to the literal gates of Disneyland and located near some convenient restaurants, this hotel was a good fit for us.When booking, we were concerned by some reviews but we actually had a great stay. From check-in to check-out, our visit was pleasant and no problems arose.During our stay, the rooms were clean and very spacious. In addition, we had no issues with noise even though we had families on both sides of our room. I think we just got lucky. A huge plus was that we got a park view and saw fireworks from Disney.Although we were in the Disney parks for most of the day, this hotel serviced our needs well and the staff were accommodating. We’ll definitely consider this hotel for our next visit!

Comment: Our overall experience is 5/5. With all factors considered, this is a very good hotel to stay if you are looking for a simple, clean and friendly hotel that is close to Disneyland.Although this hotel is a no thrill hotel with basic amenities, it seemed to be a good hotel for us because we wouldnt be spending a lot of time at this hotel besides sleeping or resting (we would be in Disneyland for most of the day). So other amenities or services missing were not needed for us. Glad our bet on this hotel paid off... because our experience was great.Experience/Service: When we arrived at the hotel, the staff were friendly and quickly provided us early check-in (early check-in does come at a fee). The huge plus was that they gave us a high floor room facing the park and we were able to see the fireworks from Disneyland. In addition, they have a refillable water station at the gym and microwave on the same floor for anyone needing to use it. For many, you pay for the close location and convenience which this hotel definitely fits the bill.Room: We booked a King with Sofa Bed room. This felt VERY SPACIOUS to us but our party was only two people. This might be different for a family of 3. Now, is this the most modern looking room? No, but this room to us... was not outdated. In addition, the bed was very comfortable (up to Marriott standards) and the room was very clean. We were lucky because we never heard anyone during our stay so noise was not an issue even though we did have people on both sides of our hotel room. This room has all basic amenities except a microwave but there is one in the common area next to the gym.Price: This point was very important to me but quality for the price was also important too. At time of booking and research, this hotel was one of the cheapest and within a 5-10 minute walk to the Disneyland gate (on Harbor Blvd) when compared to other hotels. All other cheaper hotels seemed to have interesting ratings and quality of room/service seemed to be all over the place. We stayed for 5 nights and there was a discount applied for our total because they had a long-term stay promotion. With a good price and what seemed to be good quality based on pictures and reviews, I booked this hotel for our visit.Location: There are hotels closer to Disneyland but you might be paying a high premium for some of those places or giving up on quality. To us, was paying extra $50- $100 per night worth it to be 2-3 mins closer to the Disneyland gate (on Harbor Blvd)... no, it was not. Nor, did we want to risk staying at a cheaper hotel that was closer which had interesting reviews. To us, we placed our bets at this location which we were 5-10 mins walking distance to the Disneyland gate on Harbor Blvd which was perfect for us. In addition, this hotel was great because we were next to a McDonalds and Panera Bread (literally at the entrance of the parking lot) including other restaurants. These are very convenient and great options for quick breakfast when heading to the parks. Overall, this was a perfect location for the price that we paid.

Comment: The selling point of this hotel is that it is across the street from Disneyland. The fact that it is a Marriott is an added plus for either points or upgrades as a Bonvoy Member with status. The rooms are in good shape and have coffee makers. The rooms have outside doorways, and windows that face the walkway, so its not going to be very bright We felt safe as you have to go through the lobby to get upstairs and there is a security guard at the parking lot gate.

Comment: My family and I recently stayed here during our first trip to Disneyland. The location and close proximity to Disneyland, as well as a multitude of shops and restaurants is a MASSIVE plus. We did not have a car and were easily able to walk to anywhere we might want or need. The room itself was acceptable. It was clean enough but incredibly easy to hear surrounding hotel rooms and outside noise. We knew we were going to a Disneyland Good Neighbor hotel so this wasnt entirely unexpected (lots of children), it was just an unfortunate side effect and something to be aware of.The market within the hotel was very sparse and included very little. The experience wouldve been improved a lot by including some sort of continental breakfast for guests. We also had a lot of difficulty getting successfully checked in and had to call, as well as meet with hotel staff multiple times. Even though my father was included on the reservation, they did not want to allow him to check in. When I called to add him, I was told by the representative on the phone, they would let the front desk know. Fast forward to my father trying to check in while I was on an airplane headed to the hotel, they tell him he is not on the reservation. This caused a lot of unnecessary confusion and annoyance but thankfully, they were able to make it right relatively quickly and settled into our room.Another point I think guests should be aware of is that check in for this hotel is not until 4:00 pm. This is pretty late for hotel check in and makes for bit of an inconvenient stay. Thankfully, the hotel was able to store our luggage, which is a plus!Overall, this hotel makes for a fine stay if you are in town to go to Disneyland for a few days. Have fun at the parks!!!

Comment: The hotel itself is nothing to write home about. Like 99% of other reviews, we stayed here because of its proximity to Disneyland. The room is considerably smaller than comparable hotels in the same price range and the amenities are small too (pool, gym, etc). One thing I found personally insufferable is the firmness of the mattresses and the size of the beds. They market the beds as queens, but really theyre full sized. The mattresses are like wood planks and the pillows, on the other hand, are way too fluffy. Even if you stacked three together you wouldnt get any neck support. One thing I found sort of hilarious is that they have Alice Botanicals bottles in the tub, but theyre filled with Bath and Body Works Stress Relief body wash 🤣 (or so it seems). At 260-300 per night, one expects a bit more, ya know... One last thing, if youre hoping to rest in between adventures, be aware that you can hear absolutely EVERYTHING throughout the adjacent buildings: people walking, opening and closing doors, using the restroom, talking, etc. And they stop late at night and start early in the morning. So if youre a light sleeper, bring noise canceling earphones or earplugs.

Comment: We stayed 3 nights at the Fairfield Anaheim Resort, under two separate bookings because I realized too late that we had missed a day in the original booking. The first day was under my name, where as a Platinum member, I had been upgraded to a themepark-themed room. The next two days were under my husband’s name, who is just a Silver member. They managed to keep us in the same room the entire stay which was so, so much appreciated and I truly cannot say how much I love that they took care of us in that way. They’ve made a lifelong fan out of us and the next time we’re at Disneyland, we’re staying here again! The location is excellent. It’s about a 7-8 minute walk to the parks, depending on how fast of a walker you are. We were able to just walk home after a long day at the parks, which isn’t a thing really at Disney World unless you pay an arm to stay at the super nice hotels. The room was large, clean, and perfect for the stay. I cannot recommend them enough.

Comment: This is the first and last review with this motel. 1st the room is old. 2) the room is dirty. there was couple peices of strarbust candy th round ones on the floor under the eating table. it took them 4 day before they sweep it. we used the room for sleeping only because most of our time we spent at Disney Land, Disney Land Adventure Park and Universal Studio. i stayed for 5 days and 4 nights because my sister booked it for me and family. 3) the shower towel is very old and dirty. 5 the bed sheet cover and blanket is old and torn. 6) from the first day there was littlle body wash and shampoo. we called the front desk when we found that out in the shower so i guess no one fill up thoses stuff before our arrival. And i called them again on the 4th day if they can bring up another bottle of body wash because we were real low on that and they said they would bring it up but nothing no one showed up so my daugther didnt take a shower the last part they will not stock extra toilet paper. i had to the last peice and i mean the last peice plus i had to use that little of body wash to clean myself. what a bad experince. oh and front desk will never ask you how is your expeice at this motel. i glad i check out at this motel. i will never be staying here again in the future. the front desk need the training for customer skill 101.

Comment: This was a lovely hotel and really close to the parks. My son loved the mickey mouse on the roof. The room was a little tight but not a problem. My biggest complaint in the front desk. They were sweet and helpful but they really need to practice caution when telling guest their room numbers. I was a woman alone in a crowd and she said my room outloud. I could have easily been followed. Most hotels have the number written down and they point to it instead. Especially because all of the doors are outside. I did say something and the young lady looked at the man beside her and snickered. I said it rather nicely without any attitude. I was disappointed and even more disappointed when I heard her dont to another woman later. Its a basic safety precaution that doesnt take much to change.

Comment: The hotel offers basic accommodations and is conveniently located directly across from Disney. While it is a bit of a walk to the main gate, there are numerous dining options within walking distance. Parking was by valet only. I dont think I was charged for this service. My daughter definitely liked the pool.

Room key didnt work and had to go all the way back .Finally dead bolt was broken . 2 rooms changed already. Now I am even scared for my families safety.Run Run Run ...Just checked out and going to Hyatt house . Comment: Location, location, location! This hotel is directly across the street from the Disneyland parks. There are plenty of restaurants steps away. The beds and pillows are comfortable, there is a mini fridge in the room, and the rooms are fairly quiet. There is no restaurant or continental breakfast on-site, but they do offer a large room with tables, microwaves, and toasters for guests to use. We used this each morning of our stay. Theres a little arcade and a gym next to this eating area.I only encountered one rude staff member, which is a win for me, although he was quite a doozy. Everyone else was great. I interacted with multiple people at entry, valet, check-in, and housekeeping. Valet was fast. The con: I moved a bed about 3 inches to make room for a crib, and there was piles of old food, dust, and debris there. They could do a better job cleaning the floors. All said, I would choose this hotel again and recommend it to everyone for a Disney trip.

Comment: Fantastic, easy location right across the street from Disneyland. Easily walkable in 10 minutes or less. There has been a recent renovation but you can still feel that the building itself is a bit old. It’s also still very loud loud and noisy. You can hear the water draining from other floors and the sounds from people in adjacent rooms. You can also tell that it’s an older hotel because there’s no fan in the bathroom so it gets a little steamy back there.can’t beat the location and I will probably still stay here again for the value.

Comment: Is this the best hotel youve ever stayed in? Nope. But thats not why you picked it. You picked it because its across the street from Disneyland. The staff is enthusiastic and friendly. The rooms were clean enough (ignoring the tufts of black hair in the bathroom). Walls are paper thin and you can hear folks breathing as they walk by. It also has a motor inn style layout... doors open to the outside instead of interior hallways. Windows dont open and just face the exterior walkways, so keep the blinds shut unless you like passersby being able to look in your room clearly. No outlets next to the sides of rooms with 2 queen beds. Just outlets at the lamp between the beds. Thats just not acceptable anymore; we all have cell phones that need a charge at night. Its fine for a trip to Disney as youre only going to be here to crash and sleep. Otherwise its a pass. Also re: the hair in the bathroom. I dont blame the custodial staff. Thats a big hotel chain overworking and underpaying the staff.

Comment: This Fairfield was fine, but I was surprised that it does not serve breakfast, as that was why we chose this over the courtyard next door. Still the location is as good as it gets for Disney. The mattresses were firm, but also not saggy towards the middle. The rooms were clean, but ceilings and walls are fairly thin so you will hear if your upstairs neighbor drops a ball over and over, or fireworks, or loud kids at the pool. we still slept well enough after 9 or 10pm. Parking is expensive but cheap for the area and valet is the same price as regular, so consider adding a few dollars to your pocket ahead of time for a small tip.

Comment: Loved our stay at this Marriott, room was clean, bed was so comfy, distance from parks was fairly close. Our room was cleaned each day, and our sheets changed every day, and that was a plus, thank you . Having kids that jump on beds with shoes or even dirty socks, we went out of our way to show appreciation to our cleaning person because not all cleaning personnel go above and beyond the way ours did.. and we slept comfortably each and every night, you dont hear the floor above you at all, not like other hotels, so thats a huge plus!!! The only downside.. The fridge.. It froze everything!! No matter what setting! But I wont take a star off I overlooked it with all the plusses the hotel had .. Nice hotel staff, easy check in and check out ..

Because I didn’t book directly with them they told me they could not honor my AAA discount and my microwave I requested in my room. You have to go to the 3rd floor to use a microwave. I do have to say staff was very attentive and friendly valet parking included in price for room, but to leave your car parked every day is a separate charge, they unload you and help you to the room, already included in your booking.Nice rooms but over budget for me.

Comment: Great location and hotel is almost as advertised. I would warn about rooms near washer and dryer (our room number ended in #28). We were worried about noise but staff told us they hadn’t had many complaints. We tried to immediately relocate but they had no other adjoining rooms available. It was LOUD!!! The staff’s washer and dryer are also right next to that room which makes it double noisy, especially during the day. Make sure to request rooms far from this area, but overall it is noisy at this hotel.

Comment: The location is everything for Fairfield. The reason why I gave two stars, the service. I felt the hotel solely relies on location and doesnt feel like they have to work for our business. (Disnelyand fills the rooms) Which is more than likely true. But not what I expect from Marriotts. I am a lifetime Gold member and close to lifetime Platinum. The notes on my reservation werent read, they never texted me when my room was ready (or gave me early check in), didnt explain charges on my CC and just failed to me my normal expectations of Marriott, especially for my status. The front desk, after asking them to read the notes for my stay, did make right by my children and gave them welcome gifts. I appreciate that.Marriott should not settle cause Disney sells, Marriott is better than that regardless and should do better. I right this review in hopes it will help.

Comment: Its a good location close to Disneyland. I was perplexed. The hotel reserved the closest parking for its employees. It should be for guests. Comment: We stayed here December 20th through December 24th of 2023. I would give it a zero but I would fear that if I gave it a zero rating that this wouldnt be posted. Unfortunately when we checked out on Christmas Eve I had left my insulin in the refrigerator when I called the next day they said somebody would call me back I called again Saturday and they told me again that somebody would call me back. Today being January 2, 2024 I finally got a hold of the security and I found out that they had thrown my insulin away even though I had called multiple times trying to have it sent to me. I now have no insulin and my insurance will not replace it. This was the second strike the first strike we were scheduled to have housekeeping come in on the 22nd of December we went to the front desk and asked them not to have anybody in our room because I had lost an earring on the floor. When we came back to the room that evening there had been somebody in our room that had cleaned it even after we told them not to have anybody. They have not take any responsibility for any of this. I will not have insulin for the next month seems how I had just filled it before we left for our trip.

Comment: We were in LA for a Holiday event and decided to extend our stay and go to Disneyland. We took an Uber and arrived at the Fairfield Anaheim Resort just before 7am. The front desk was very friendly and answered all our questions with a smile, stored our luggage in a secure location and we were off to Disneyland. We got a text later that day that our room was ready and since it is a short walk decided to head to the resort to grab our luggage and check in. The check in process what quick and easy. We were provided with a room upgrade and the room looked like it was recently renovated. It was very clean. We were on the 9th floor so we had a great view of Disneyland. We could not have been happier about our room and the staff.

Comment: This was tough for me to rate. I want to give it 3 stars, but in the end decided to go with 4 stars. There are a handful of hotels closer, but this was pretty close and I was happy with the location for walking to the parks. All of the hotels that are close charge a crazy rate for parking, as does this one. Its just part of what you sign up for.The room overall was clean in that the main floors were not gross, the sheets were clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. That being said, the sink had gunk in it, like it hadnt been cleaned thoroughly, the coffee maker and that area were all dusty, like nobody bothered to wipe them off and the refrigerator also could have been wiped out better. The shower was clean and well kept and I felt good about the room outside of the bit of lack of cleanliness in those areas. My biggest complaint is that I booked a king bed room 6 months in advance. Yet when I did mobile check-in, they gave me a queen room. I called to tell them I was being put in the wrong room and they said they were over-sold on king bedrooms and all they had were queens. If you dont have the room, let people know that 6 months in advance instead of waiting until the day before. I also requested a handicap room for our second room and they were not able to fill that request either. The staff are very courteous and kind and I felt like they cared, but they also couldnt do anything to help our situation and there were no accommodations made to offset their mistake in booking. The refrigerator didnt work properly. Most of our food froze. I adjusted the settings but it didnt seem to matter, still all of our food would freeze. So, it was rendered inedible and unusable, which was inconvenient and wasteful. No microwaves in the room, but there is one to use on the 3rd floor guest area. Its not a bad hotel and I might stay here again, I would just have to know that I am probably not going to get the room I actually booked, which is unfortunate. And I wont count on a working refrigerator.

Comment: We stayed for 3 nights Oct. 17th, 18th, & 19th. We were on the 5th floor and had a great experience. The staff were very polite our entire visit. It is very close to the Disney park entrance, maybe a 7 minute walk to the stoplight and we felt very safe. We were very happy with the location. Our room was very nice and clean with laminate floors that had just been washed (nice because we could see the floor was clean vs. carpeted floors), quality linens, and plenty of towels. Most importantly, the bed was absolutely wonderful. We loved it!I dont know what mattresses they use, but it was firm, yet soft enough that you didnt feel like you were sleeping on a board, but also, neither of us spent the night rolling back and forth. Literally, we were nestled into bed. We loved it and want that mattress for our queen bed at home! And the hotel was quiet! We didnt hear noise at all.Our next happy surprise was the shower head! Holy cow, if you want a good shower this shower head most certainly didnt scrimp on the water. The flow was amazing, the water pressure was great, the hot water was plentiful! There was also an ice machine in the corridor which somehow was always full and we filled our water bottles with ice before and after Disney. In addition, the lobby kept ice water to fill your bottles with water or to get a quick drink if needed. They also have a beautiful gift shop in the lobby which had all kinds of cute souvenirs and things you may need during your stay like snacks or forgotten toiletries. There was a Panera and McDonalds flanking the hotel parking lot and a Mimis Cafe very close by.There were only two things we would say were somewhat lackluster but not at all dealbreakers for us. #1. If you have a serious knee or hip problem, the toilets were a bit lower to the ground. I was recovering from a pretty serious knee injury and noticed this right away. It doesnt change my 5 star rating in the least, just something to note.#2. They do have a nice, clean pool area. Its a pool. Its rectangular and plain but very clean with nice seating. Its fine if you just need a place to swim or decompress, or, if you are traveling with kids that you are planning on taking to Disney parks and just need to have a place to give them some additional recreation or cooling off.I will say that if you are traveling with kids and maybe grandparents who would be watching them while you adults head over to the Disney parks, you may want to consider staying at the hotel next door which is the Courtyard Marriott.I only say this because our room was on the side that faced their water playground and I can say the Courtyard Marriott pool is meant for kids and serious water playtime. Its a pool and playground in one, with slides, water spouts, and all the bells and whistles you can think of for kids.I called my daughter and said if she ever goes to Disney with her young kids, well fly in and babysit them at the pool while she and her hubby go enjoy some fun without the kids. Just something to think about. For us, we spent so much time at the parks from morning until late at night that the pool was only something we walked by.For us, if we travelled to Disney again, we would be very happy to stay at the Fairfield by Marriott Anaheim Resort. It was a great start to our 14 day California vacation!

After calling, Sonia wasn’t able to refund us for the first night. We spend at least 6 nights a year at this place. Only to spend $250 on a day that wasn’t used. It’s sad she couldn’t help us. Comment: Worst Fairfield Inn ever. Dont be looking for a breakfast in the morning. The breakfast room is still there as they tell you when you arrive. It has a microwave and toaster you can use, but they eliminated the breakfast Fairfield Inns are known for. So you get what is the equivalent of a motel room for a ridiculously high price. Also the hot tub was closed. As a disabled vet that was the number two reason for booking this place.

Comment: Because of its location, this hotel can get away with calling itself a resort and feeling like a motel. I paid a Little bit extra for a Room on a High floor and was able to watch the Fireworks from Disneyland every night. So from that perspective, it was amazing. The main reason I would give this lower scores. Is that the service at the front desk was somewhat lackadaisical. As a result, my first day I ended up sitting in the lobby unnecessarily for close to an hour and then didnt get notified when my room was ready . If youre okay with following up and checking back frequently, I would say theres absolutely no reason not to stay here.

Comment: Highly Recommend!!!! A 10-minute walk to Disneyland at the most! The employees here were literally nicer, more polite, and accommodating than the Disney Castmembers at Disneyland. The rooms are equal to a Disney World Value Resort (if you have ever been to them). A mini fridge and a big safe for personal items. Nice size vanity area. My partner and I were able to get ready at the same time comfortably. Semi gated with an employee checking cars at the driveway entrance. There is valet service for a fee per day as well as self parking with the same fee. There is no restaurant inside the hotel. However, there are vending machines as well as a gift shop and convience area in the lobby. Panera and McDonalds are right out front as well as other restaurants a short wall away.We requested the top floor so noise wouldnt bother us, but the rooms seem pretty soundproof from neighbors. We were on the highway view side, which was fine as we were only here to sleep. The sound of the highway isnt very loud at all.Even with the glowing review, I gave it 4 stars because of housekeeping. When we checked in, we were told the schedule, which was every other day. They forgot us the first day, so when we got back from the parks really, really late, I had to go back down to the lobby to get towls and coffee items. The front desk was very apologetic and got the items for me. When they did come, they didnt leave coffee again and threw away items that were not trash nor near the trash.

Comment: I stayed at this resort for 2 nights. It was my first time and probably last. I booked my reservation over the phone and was emailed a confirmation. Once I arrived to check in they told me my reservation had been canceled. I asked to speak to the manager and MB came to talk to me. I asked the reason why this happened and showed her my confirmation. She was rude and told me that they canceled because of supposedly fraud. I couldnt believe this was happening since i called and gave all my information over the phone. Nobody called or emailed me to inform me this. I traveled for almost 6 hours and had my family in the car. The manager wanted me to book a new reservation. I dont think this was fair to me since this was not my fault. I felt discriminated, I noticed the difference on how i was being treated to the other guest. During my stay nobody checked up on us or cleaned the room. I had to call to request new towels. I really wanted to love this resort but unfortunately i had a bad experience.

Comment: Not worth the price. Other hotels nearby are more affordable and provide some sort of breakfast and extended parking. This hotel gave us a room next to the elevator with a 18 month old and 6 year old. The constant noise of the elevator did not allow the kids to sleep and they didnt allow us extended parking so we had to check out and then drive to Disneys parking structure. This defeated the purpose of staying at the hotel with our kids to avoid the hassle of Disneys parking structure with young kids in the morning. We will not be staying here again since other hotels next door provide extended parking, some sort of breakfast, and the rooms are cheaper.

Comment: My husband and I stayed her for a last minute vacation to Disneyland! The location is within walking distance to Disneyland. The staff has been wonderful, including the house keeping! Our room was very clean when we arrived and we couldn’t be happier. The shower has the bigger bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body wash so you don’t necessarily need to ask for more shampoo unlike other hotels that give you a tiny bottle. The room offers a coffee machine which housekeeping will refill if you used any of it. Overall, we were pleased with the noise level as well. We didn’t hear any street noise from our room, mainly we heard occasional thuds from the room above or when someone had a loud luggage rolling outside. We would stay here again for our next visit!

Comment: We went to check in around 5pm and our room wasnt cleaned yet so they put us in a disney themed room. Just some wallpaper but the room was nice enough. Our bathroom door was falling apart on the bottom with the particleboard coming off so we couldnt fully close it without getting cardboard looking stuff all over the floor. Pool is on the smaller side but functional. Overall we are happy with everything (weve only been here a couple days though).

Comment: We stayed here for almost a week for our Disney trip. The service was phenomenal! When we told them we were there for both our daughter’s birthdays, the front desk attendant said he’d be right back. He came back with two Mickey themed gifts for them! It was such a warm welcome. We were greeted every single time we entered the lobby with either a “welcome back!” Or “have a great time!” Felt like the Disney magic was continuing even at our hotel. They had cold ice water available every day. The hotel and rooms were VERY clean! And very well sound proofed. I love that the rooms were themed too. They were also updated with no carpet. We will absolutely be staying here on our next Disneyland trip. The walk was quick. Probably less than 10 minutes to the entrance. I also love that they offered a military leisure rate!

Comment: This is very much the kind of hotel where you’re paying for the great location, just across the road from the Disneyland Park entrance. Comment: Horrible experience! The sound of elevator operating is super annoying! if you book a room near that (ours is 2 rooms away), it can easily ruin your disney trip. Though, the front desk offer to switch the room for us after the first night, we left too early and came back too late and too tired to do that. please check that before you unpack everything (tho the best way is to simply avoid the hotel). I think this hotel is dishonest. there is a good reason to believe they know this issue before we check in and this room should not have been sold in the first place!

Comment: We just checked out after a five night stay and I don’t even know where to begin. Willy thank you for opening the door and taking the luggage as we left. I just want to say the valet, the front desk, the maids, and even the person by the little booth at panera, ALL of the staff always made my mom and I feel so welcome. Always saying hello or good morning or welcome. We would walk to our room and along the way have all those people greet us, it was fantastic. We received such great service from ur staff last august that we came to this hotel again. When we return we will be staying here again. Rooms were very clean and pool was clean as well. They also have complimentary water in the lobby which is awesome. Thank you everyone.

Comment: The room was nice and roomy enough for 3 of us (10 yr old child) for our 6 night stay. We were on the 6th floor facing Disney park. The service was good. We parked the rental car for one night (valet service) and liked it. The best thing we loved about the place was the proximity to Disney. Coming back during afternoon and go back was so much easier due to the proximity. Close to McDonalds to get coffee or quick breakfast was awesome. Eating lunch 2-3 times at Panera Bread ... Comment: If youre looking for a no frills hotel close to Disneyland, this is it! The easy walk to Disneyland took us less than 10 minutes. Panera in the parking lot for coffee in the morning because they dont offer breakfast/coffee in the hotel. The room was nothing special, but spacious enough for my family. The pull out bed is tiny though, big enough for my small child and thats it. I would definitely recommend staying here for the easy access to Disneyland.

Comment: I was very disappointed with the front desk agent named Christina. I’m not sure if she gave me her correct name since she was being so rude but she had curly hair and wore transparent looking glasses. She was also the one working Saturday at about 2 AM. My family and I had just arrived to Anaheim after driving eight hours to this resort. After giving her my name at check-in, she instantly began to talk over me, and not listen to my problem. It almost seemed as if I was a bother or as if I did something to her with the way she was dealing with my issue. She proceeded to talk over me and never once wanted to hear me out. I was never able to check into this reservation I had made originally. It was the Friday - Monday reservation…and she walked away for me and told me her colleague Steven would be able to assist me. Steven was a little bit more understanding and did hear me out. although he did not solve my problem or give me any solution. I still appreciate it being heard. I was in shock realizing that Marriott hired such a rude and very unfriendly person like Christina, not sure what kind of bad day she had but definitely feel like you should not take your feelings out on people especially customers of a high excellence brand name like Marriott. I’ve never dealt with anyone in customer service like this. She did not hear a problem and then proceed with explaining what is going on with the issue in the system and why it can’t be resolved. As I would try to reason and speak to her, she just kept talking over me and over me, and would not let me say a word. I wouldn’t ever treat anyone this way. No way to treat a guest. The next day, I was able to check in, and Sandy at the front desk was amazing. Super friendly, very nice and knowledgeable, she definitely has excellent guest service. Thank you Sandy I am most definitely feel welcomed again after dealing with her. Not so much with the prior interaction with Christina at the front desk.

Comment: Booked here with airline miles for a semi-impromptu trip to Disneyland. Clean room and bathroom. No breakfast onsite & no free breakfast, if that is important to you, but there is a Panera Bread & McDonalds adjacent to the hotel. We didnt get down to the pool or whirlpool, unfortunately, but it looked fun & had assistive devices to help folks with mobility issues to get in & out of the water. Staff were very nice & housekeeping was friendly. Check in was quick as was check-out. And great proximity to the Disneyland parks - a 10-12 minute walk to the main security gate.

Comment: The only thing I liked about this hotel was the location. It’s a short walk to the Disneyland entrance and having McDonalds and Panera right on the way was super convenient for grabbing a quick breakfast on the way to the park. However, the rooms were horrible. How can this be a Marriott?? We booked the King bed with a sleeper sofa thinking our two older kids could share the sleeper sofa. However it was tiny and horribly uncomfortable. They should disclose that this is not a normal sized sleeper sofa and can only fit one child. There was a super loud swamp cooler type A/C unit in the window. Walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors entire conversations. Sheets and bedding was worn out, thin with fabric threads popping out everywhere. Loved the location but will probably try another hotel on our next trip to Disneyland. This one felt like we were staying in an old Motel 6 with a fresh coat of paint.

Comment: Do not stay here if you are handicapped and need a mobility scooter. This hotel has a very strict policy and does not allow Handicapped Mobility scooters to be charged on the premises. Vendors are required to meet and greet on a daily basis to bring a fully charged scooter. Most Vendor companies will not deliver to this location because of their very strict policy regulations. So if you are handicapped dont stay here!!!Most hotels are very accommodating to the handicapped guest!

Comment: If you dont want to pay Disney property prices and are looking for a place to stay SUPER close to the park, this is a solid choice. Five minute walk with lots of food options nearby.Ill agree with other reviews that say the place is a little dated and could use some TLC, but the staff is SO incredibly friendly and caring. I really liked that the floors are tile rather than carpet, and the AC worked great despite being an older window unit. The only thing I didnt love is that the windows face the hallway, so you have to shut out any daylight for privacy, but most of the hotels on Harbor Blvd are this way - Im guessing because a lot of them are probably old converted motels from the 60s. Considering youre really only in your room to sleep, this isnt a bad spot!

Comment: Right off the bat location is 5* no matter what I say about this stay, if this is a good deal you cant get much better for location, that being said, the staff are all fantasic very nice and accommodating, the rooms are clean and tidy, comfortable beads lots of space, bathrooms are nice but mine in particular was terrible for getting the whole bathroom floor flooded, the lip of the tub under the shower head catches water and just tosses it out of the tub, very irritating. Comment: I honestly recommend this place to stay if youre on a budget. We stayed here at rolm 605 from May 10-13. Just 10 mins walk to Disney and nearby fast foods. No hassles to check in and out, the staff are amazing and polite. They are generous to give extra towels when we needed. Theres a common microwave and laundry area assuming that not all tourists will dine out. This has been a pleasant experience for our family. I will book once again here.*I like that its not carpeted not hard wood floors. Its easier to spot if the floor has been cleaned. I hope they wont change it.*The hotels design is plain and simple but everything in our room functions very well. I like that its open concept so once you get out of your room, theres fresh air.*The vanity sink is separated from the bathroom which is a huge plus for me. There is a sliding door from it which adds privacy.*The beds and pillows are unexpectedly comfy.*Well-lit rooms, a big table, a single couch, A/C works perfectly and quiet.*Free wifi folks!

Comment: Stayed here for a week with my family. 10 min walk to Disney gate! The hotel is very clean and the staff were always working hard keeping it that way, from what we saw. Every staff member was super friendly and helpful! They gave our daughter a couple of birthday gifts which was lovely :). There is a Panera right there and Mcds, so very handy. We did try Mimi’s restaurant next door as reviews were good and it was awful!!! All our meals were horrible.Yes, it’s a bit noisy, but that is to be expected at a Disney hotel. We bring white noise machines when we travel and that was helpful. The pool is VERY clean and the temp of the water was perfect after a hot day at the parks! It’s nice you can have your meal at the pool as well :). There are 2 small stores in Hotel with souvenirs, booze, milk etc which was very handy! We also did laundry there and the machines were clean and nice. We are already talking about booking here for next year!

Staff is very welcoming. However this hotel failed to provide any value to Platinum or above Elite members. No breakfast at all provided (for my last stay they provided Panera gift card, this time is nothing). They even want to charge you for bottle of water. Room is also old and outdated, overpriced as wellI highly recommend Sheraton Park hotel close by for elite members. The club lounge there is amazing that can save you money for breakfast or even dinner. Room is recently remodeled, and also much cheaper compare to other hotels. Comment: We stayed at the Fairfield Anaheim resort 3/6-3/8. The hotel was perfectly situated to walk to Disneyland - even shorter walk than arriving by the tram! We were traveling with our 10 week old baby and the room was quiet, private, and generously spacious. The best part was the considerate staff. Our room had shower and tub option as well as a mini fridge and microwave. Being our first trip as new parents we hugely underestimated how difficult it would be to just pack up and go the next day before entering the park. So we called the front desk to extend our stay and they were able to work out an arrangement for us to not only stay another night but also in the same room! We will definitely be returning to this hotel for all our Disney visits. Thank you!!

Comment: Picked this location, solely due to great walking distance from Disneyland, very safe location, and able to enjoythe Disney firework show from our room. Unfortunately, our room was by the Courtyard Marriott kidspool area... where a ringing bell would go off every hour. Doesnt offer complementary breakfast, but having Panera and Mimis cafe in the same parking lot solved that problem. Overall since most of my time there was spent at Disneyland, great place to rest weary legs and feel safe and secure.

Comment: When booking the courtyard for our Disneyland family vacation, the website said they had complementary breakfast and self parking, which I have a screen shot of. When we arrived, the 1st thing the fridge didnt work. I called down about this & asked about the breakfast. They said we do not offer this at this time. Yet it is right on their website, Free Breakfast Part of what I paid for. Also when checking in they told me it was $24.99 a day, also not mentioned on the website. When Dave was changing out the fridge, (he was actually awesome) I mentioned the breakfast & paid parking, he sounded like he knew what was up. He said the restaurant did not renew the lease, so they didnt have it anymore. He acknowledged the parking thing was a little deceptive. When checking put I brought up the paid parking not listed in the online purchase. I told them I had a picture of it. I told them I was coming down to discuss with them and show them the advertisement. Magically the current website now show paid parking and no breakfast. Amazing. Some of the magic dust must have helped them out. When I got to the front desk, no mention of the paid parking was brought up. Now I am home, and they charged my card $30 dollars a day. $120. Had they brought it up when I was checking out, I would have shown them the screen shot of self parking and breakfast. So figure we had to go drive somewhere to find breakfast, buy it, and well as pay the parking they charged us after we left. Pretty shady. Not Happy about this at all. Stay somewhere else that doesnt nickel & time you, especially after the fact.

Comment: Location is really the great thing about this place! It’s like 15-20 minutes from the farthest parts of the park to the hotel. They’ll also hold your luggage, which is nice if you are traveling elsewhere and don’t have another night booked. If you’re looking for a super nice/fancy place to stay, this isn’t really it. It’s good. Not the worst, but also not super fancy. Good location to see fireworks though.

Comment: Location is king. There are only 3 hotels closer to Disneyland and with a Panera and McDonalds just a few steps away, you have a shot at an economically quick meal. The price is reasonable compared to outrageously expensive, moderately outdated motels that are a few steps closer to the parks. The condition of this motel is fine. It’s not frilly but it is clean and has average amenities like a Keurig, a refrigerator, shampoo, conditioner and decent linens. The biggest downside to the Fairfield is the noise. With the heater fan on high and our white noise volume to match we could still hear suitcases rattling down the concrete hallways, trucks and airplanes constantly moving and neighbors closing doors and drawers. For some reason this place is just loud. Bring your earplugs and white noise and you’ll be ok. I just don’t know if I’ve stayed in a louder motel.I do highlight that I’ve called this a Motel, rather than Hotel or Resort. The Fairfield is not a resort and with exterior hallways, it really is a motel. However it does have elevators which makes it more accessible! Not a bad motel for the price.

Comment: Wonderful and cosy small hotel. Everything is clean and tidy. It’s conveniently located near a freeway, however on the quiet street with local traffic only. The staff is helpful and nice, check in guys are super helpful, breakfast ladies are kind and keep everything clean. Breakfast is good, it includes omelet, sausages, croissants, donuts, jams, butter, coffee, yogurts, canned fruits, and many others. The room is good with a big bathroom area, microwave, fridge, TV, working space (stayed in King and sofa room 133). Still size of a big motel room, but they made the best of the space, was convenient enough to stay with 2 kids and a baby. Modern and quiet air conditioning. 20 min freeway drive to the Disneyland, 30 min to Newport beach. Pros:location, rooms, staff, breakfast, free parking, furniture, bathroom. We loved it all. A few suggestions:to add vegetables at the breakfast and to replace detergent used to clean rooms, as they leave strong chemical smell. Overall, wonderful place to stay with kids and on your own. Thanks for the great experience!

Comment: This Fairfield Inn is right across the street from Disneyland which is great & convenient. Just know that it is not the typical Marriott quality. The staff is very nice but the room smelled like sewage, & the air/heater is very noisy. The room appeared clean but there were hairs in the bathroom. We like this hotel because it is close to Disney & the staff are nice but if you are going to want to spend time in your room to relax I would consider another hotel but this is a good place if you want a place to sleep.

Comment: Very close to Disney and a McDonalds and Panera are right there too (as well as an IHOP). The staff couldnt have been nicer to us. Santa was there which was a fun surprise - he gave the kids some chocolate. They also very graciously gave us a very late checkout when our flight home was canceled last minute and we needed time to figure out what to do. We really appreciated that as we didnt have anywhere to go. We will be back. Thank you!

Comment: My family and I just went on 12/11/2022 for my daughters 3rd birthday. We were only checked in for two hours. We left our bags at the hotel and went to dinner. Came back two hours later to some of our very important/expensive items missing. Multiple Louis Vuitton bags, kids birth certificates, make up, ipad, kindle, chargers, head phones, my daughters favorite stuffy. An investigation and claim was filed with Marriott. We had to come down at 9:30pm to ask to be moved to another hotel (they had said they would work on moving us rooms but then we didnt hear anything for about an hour until we went down to the lobby). Staff was apologetic but all we ended up doing was being moved to another Marriott further down the street, not settling in until 11pm. Weve been contacted by Marriott claims and they admitted that 9 times out of 10, we do not get reimbursed for theft at their hotels. The Ipad was turned on and we have an address for where our items are (a apartment complex near the hotel) leading us to believe it was either a: An employee or b: the building is not secure.Either way DO NOT STAY HERE. Unless you want to start out your family vacation in the worst way. Your items may be stolen.

Comment: Worth it for the right price. The location is very convenient to Disneyland & California Adventures making it possible (and easy) to come home mid day. The other thing that stood out to me about this property was a good room on the 3rd floor for groups eating or if you want to microwave something. Beyond these two things, there was nothing special to the property (standard room, small pool & hot tub, etc.) and I was quite disappointed there is no breakfast.

Comment: The rooms are nice- nothing to write home about, however, thats perfectly fine because we were only in the rooms to sleep. You cant beat how close this hotel is to the entrance. It legit took us maybe 5 mins to get to the entrance (I walk annoyingly fast though). The staff was friendly and the Gatorades that they had to purchase in the lobby were our saving grave each night. They also put out complimentary ice water in the lobby each day so we refilled our water bottles each time we passed through- that was super awesome as well!

Comment: Stayed for 6 nights in September which after taxes and parking fees was close to 2000.00 dollars . Okay so COVID’s really over but they cleaned our room once in 7 days only after we complained . I would have loved to have called and talked to housekeeping but phone didn’t work . Showers were cold early in morning even if I let it run a long time . Plenty of hotel staff behind the lobby desk to talk to but lacking housekeepers I guess . I don’t need my room cleaned every day but at the price per night of the property continues to get higher and higher I expect a certain level of service without having to go down to the lobby to ask for it . If you’re not going provide basic services and scrimp on soap and shampoo then lower the cost . The parking fee is way too high too since I don’t use the valet service and the security is a girl sleeping at the makeshift gate as we walk by … I’ll stay further away from DL and Uber next time …. Added four stars so review would be seen !

Comment: Pros: great location (only a 5 minute walk to Disney entrance). It’s also clean.Cons: expensive for what it is. Outdated. Like an old motel they revamped. It’s also SUPER noisy. You can hear all your neighbors above you and around you showering, dropping something on the floor, banging, etc. Above us, the cleaners are constantly letting the doors bang against the lock latch as they go out and in.Location is great but can’t get past how noisy it is. We won’t be coming back.

We stayed here for our postponed honeymoon and they staff actually have us a Disney themed present and we were so appreciative of this. I believe this will always be the hotel we chose for our Disneyland trips as it’s right across the road, the rooms are a great size comfy beds and the staff just top it all off.Thank you so much!

Comment: The location is amazing and super close to Disneyland. The rooms were average but the air conditioning was really noisy and the waters in the room were way overpriced. The service at the desk was fine but we had to wait a long time to store our luggage and they made us move our car (we were willing to pay) on the day we checked out even though we were spending the day at the park.

Comment: Excellent. This place has it all: an exceptional staff, great placement to Disneyland, rooms are very clean and well laid out. The pricepoint has this hotel batting out of its league in a good way. The taller parts of Disneyland are visible from the hotel, and if you dont mind missing the music or being in a crowd of 50,000 people, the nightly fireworks are able to be viewed. Will definitely stay here again.

Comment: I cant say about the room. I work in the airline industry, stayed at many...many...hotels. Not sure what happened at my particular room but someone obviously busted the lock but neglected to fix it prior to our arrival. There could of been a kid trapped in there, someone passed out inside and they couldnt get to them ...who knows. I knocked off a star for that, I have seen everything in great many hotels. The rooms were just great for our purpose. Walk to Disney, park downstairs if we need to drive. $24 a day and its all gated. I really think the room was great and clean. Fridge was clean. A/C worked like a champ. This was a surprise for my daughters birthday. Theyre only little once. In my excitement of surprising her, I told the woman checking me into my room. (I wish I remember her name... starts with I?) so nice. Not a single worker at the hotel looked like they were having a bad day. Everyone was pleasant and upbeat. On her birthday (guess in my excitement I told the check in person) they left my little girl a surprise! Oh she was so happy!Thank you Fairfield by Marriott Anaheim! I will definitely be back!

However, my first room (306) had dirty towels (stayed two nights, two rooms) and the shower tub was dirty in room (405). So there was that... the shop on site is awesome! Im sober, but they sell liquor, which is pretty awesome. Pool and jacquzzi looks very small FYI. Far away from the rooms too

Comment: This location was great if you are going to Disney. We were in a Disney themed room, at first glance it was great. The pros: beds were very comfortable, the separated bathroom/closet worked great and the theming was fun! Cons: dirty floor; bottom of my families socks all turned brown from the floor, there were a tons of greasy fingerprints on the frosted bathroom door and the air conditioner was very loud. There is also no breakfast.

Comment: Nice location that is close to Disney. About 10 min walk to the front Entrance. Parking is $25 a day so if you are not going anywhere, better to not rent a car. The rooms are clean but outdated. Looked the same when my kids were toddlers many years ago. If you have a room facing Disney, you can see the fireworks.

Comment: This hotel wins for proximity to Disneyland land but thats all! Rooms are small. They told us they dont have enough staff so our rooms would only be cleaned every other day. That just doesnt work with a family of four people who come in dirty and sweaty from the parks all day to a dirty room. If you put the AC up more than 2 degrees the heat switches on. When are we going to stop using covid as an excuse of lack of staff and just start paying people more so theyll want to work for you?

Comment: Decent hotel, with great staff and perfect location. 10 minute walk, with kids, to the main entrance. The property is somewhat dated, but most hotels in the area are of the same genre. Staff were friendly and quick to respond to any requests or queries. We stayed on the top floor, with a view room, which was great for watching the fireworks each night. Room was supposed to be “premium”, but other than some Disney wallpaper it seemed pretty basic. That being said, beds were comfortable and it served our needs.

Comment: I stayed at this hotel for a trip to Disneyland. The location is optimal with close walking distance to the park. The parking is rough as they have what feels like a 2 rooms to 1 parking spot on site, with half of the spots reserved for valet (at least valet is the same cost to park as overnight). Rooms were average and clean, our TV did not work and the A/C would either blow cool at 65* or heat at 67*. Overall I think Id look at a different hotel next time Im in town, but this one does the job for those looking for a close spot to Disney.

Comment: The room was clean and enough towels for our 3 day stay, but we got locked out of our room 4 times .1st time things happens 2nd time pretty annoyed and 3 time it just an inconvenience. Spending all day at Disneyland,Going all the way up to your room to just to have to come back down and have to have a security guard have to get you into your room . Kept being ask if both rooms was ours (connecting room) made me feel like the person next to us key could’ve worked for our door . On our check out day I Went to the vending machine came back to room and again locked out luckily my daughter was awake in the room and was able to let me in . We decided to leave at 6 am and went to a different hotel down the street. Paid $1,4xx.xx to not be able to come and go freely.

Comment: The hotel itself is nothing special, but the price and location are so convenient that Id more likely than not stay here again next time. Its a quick easy walk to Disneyland, IHOP, Dennys, McDonalds, and Panera Bread. Its also cheaper in comparison to other hotels we looked at, (certainly cheaper than the Disneyland resort hotels), which I appreciate as Disneys an expensive vacation as it is, and the hotel isnt the thing I wanna blow a lot on as youre really just there to shower and sleep. Id imagine that around 90% of the people whod stay here would be in town to go to Disneyland, again making the price and location ideal. The main light was burnt out in our room, and the toilet whistled a little, but we could over look this easily because again, youre only there to shower and sleep. And thats really all that was wrong with the hotel anyway. The beds were very comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful. The pool and hot tub werent crowded at all either. Granted it wasnt super crazy hot outside all week. I cant speak to maid service as we put the do not disturb sign up the whole time. They dont come every single day though so if thats super important to you, (which it obviously wasnt to us), you may want to consider somewhere else. I heard from the top floor you can even see the fireworks at night! That would be helpful if maybe you wanna see them without staying at the park too too late, or have kids that you have to get ready for bed.So all in all, nothing special, but checked all my boxes, especially the most important ones, and well probably stay here again next time.

Comment: Hotel has a great location, only a 10-15 minute walk from Disney. However, I believe they use this to get away with things no hotel should. The rooms are WARM uncomfortably so. The fridge leaks water and doesnt keep the food cool. The bed is quite uncomfortable and pushed far from the wall so pillows fall beneath. The floor felt dirty upon entry, my wife and I cleaned it with a towel. The toilet paper is like wax paper. Lastly, the TV was very slow - pressing buttons it took several seconds for the program to respond. Only an annoyance but for the price these are issues we shouldnt have to deal with.Rant over!

Comment: So essentially, dont stay here. Way too many reasons to list. It is not clean. It is not updated like the other hotels along this strip. It is the farthest from the Disneyland entrance except for the Courtyard. The rooms are incredibly small. Ive stayed in several other hotels right across from the DL entrance, and the rooms are all larger, and all much more updated. They make you move your car before 12 noon on checkout day (unlike other hotels on the strip let you park until 3 pm on checkout day). They charge $24 for parking daily (at least the Best Western and Park Vue parking is 15 or less). This is a national hotel chain that serves breakfast at all their locations - but they stopped serving breakfast here during covid - and when I asked several staff members about it they nonchalantly said theyre not starting it back ever because it was too complicated to run breakfast... whatever. The room towels were essentially threadbare. Did i say small rooms? Horrid little tippy fridge that cant even keep drinks cold. Dirty old bathroom. Smelly carpet. Too many other negatives to list. Positives - the valet parking costs the same as regular parking, and the valet guy was friendly.

Comment: The location cannot be beat - right across the street from the park and having a Panera bread close by for breakfast and coffee was great. The room and pool area was very clean and staff extremely helpful and friendly.I do wish that there had been a cleaning service of some kind during our stay. I know it’s due to COVID but it feels like something could be done to better meet guests needs.I recommend people ask for a park view. The city view is of the highway and parking lots (although the whole area is really one massive parking lot).On the whole we had a great stay and a super happy time. Beds and pillows comfortable and I loved the door that closed off the sleeping area from the toilet and sink area. The ac unit was loud and you can hear the highway. Disneyland fireworks are visible- a nice bonus for people taking little kids home to bed.

They did not provide room cleaning during our stay, but we just left our trash cans at the door and they were cleared out and replaced with new trash bags each day.The room does not have a microwave, but does have a small fridge. The noise insulation was pretty good between rooms and we were able to have a nice view of the fireworks from Disneyland from just out on the balcony. We did get a random call at 5am one morning asking us if we needed more towels, which would be our only complaint, other than that we had a really nice stay.Right across from Disneyland and next to many places for breakfast and other meals as well, easy walk to the Disney district for some shopping and food too

Comment: Overall I wasnt too impressed with this Fairfield except for two reasons:1) Its across the street from Disneyland, much closer than the actual Disneyland parking lots. This location is pretty amazing when youre coming home at 11pm with young kids after being out all day2) The staff is accommodating and friendlyHowever, those perks should be weighed against the price (plus $24/day parking, with no ability to leave the car there after checking out) and the fact that there is no breakfast, even for Marriott elite members. The rooms are ok, but nothing worth noting, and, although they have mini-fridges, they dont have a microwave. Comment: This hotel is a great location for Disneyland goers. Comfortable and clean with friendly staff. A bit of an average room and the hotel is noisier, but not so much to lose sleep. The pool appeared nice but we didnt use it.The little Pizza Hut, coffee shop and market were all closed, but there are plenty of places nearby. Its odd that the park is wide open, (tens of thousands were at the park this weekend in July 2021) as are the nearby restaurants, but not the hotel restaurants.Another odd thing about this hotel is that they dont have a microwave in the room. Theres a refrigerator, but no micro. So good luck heating your leftovers, LOL.The beds were nice, tidy, clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again for price, location, and Marriott dependability. You could go more upscale, but for a quick trip to Disneyland, this hotel is just right... now if they would just add a microwave.

Comment: This hotel is super close to Disneyland, which is the main reason we chose it. We walked to the park in 5-10 minutes. The pool was nice, and it felt awesome after a long day. Staff was very kind and friendly. This hotel is more like a “motel” in that our door was outside. Our room was right above the pool, so it was kind of loud during the day. We also heard honking/car doors in the middle of the night from the parking lot. The A/C was very loud and creaky/rumbly so we had to turn it off every night. Our bed was also very loud and creaky anytime we moved at all. It was also not very comfortable. The hotel does not offer free breakfast.

Comment: The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is also very close to Disneyland (under a 10 min walk). My only complaints are that even though it’s close to the park, the area is a bit sketchy. There were people asking us for money and masks outside the hotel. Also, there were no more spots to park forcing us to do valet. Even though they didn’t charge us, it was uncomfortable and not ideal having someone else drive our car during Covid. I also didn’t realize this hotel has a motel set up (my own fault for not looking at photos), and did not feel that comfortable having our door open to the outside especially given the area. Overall I appreciated the friendliness and cleanliness, but would not stay here again.

Comment: Good location right next to Disneyland. Staff is nice. Room was simple, no frills just two beds and a bathroom, but it was clean and served the purpose. Lots of families about doing the mouse stuff. No issues with our stay, would come back again.

Comment: Our family stayed in adjoining rooms for family trip to Disneyland. This was our second time staying at this hotel. We are thrilled finding such nice accommodations at a fraction of the cost of a Disney Hotel. The hotel is located across the street from the main entrance and is actually a shorter walk to the park than from the Disney Hotel. The staff is first class and friendly. Everyone goes out of their way to greet you. The service was wonderful. The check in and out was easy and fast. We were even able to get right into our rooms at 9:00 AM which made it nice for the rest of our day in the park. The rooms were spotlessly clean. Another plus is the food area on the third floor complete with fresh brewed coffee in the morning and a microwave for reheating our bagel bites. The staff gave my granddaughter a little stuffed toy which became her favorite tote around in no time. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Or maybe not - we dont want it to get too popular. We want to be sure they have room for us. LOL

Comment: This hotel is a short distance from Disneyland’s main gate. It is impeccably clean!! The staff is friendly and welcoming. It is not a high end hotel but very comfortable. The only drawback we had was that we booked a room at the senior citizen rate and they gave us a room on a high floor facing the freeway and building construction sites. Both were very loud! They give you earplugs but if you get a discount you might pay the price in irritation.

Comment: Amazing location to Disney parks... The hotel staff are warm and welcoming... the rooms are clean and spacious enough for all our stuff! The only downfall I would say is the outside of the room seems dirty, like needs a fresh coat of paint. But otherwise we have really enjoyed our stay

Comment: The location to the front entrance of Disneyland and/or California Adventure was excellent. It provides the opportunity to take a break from all the fun especially for those with little one. The rooms are spacious and well-lit. Try to get a room (1 through 15) on the higher floors for a nightly view of the fireworks (weather permitting). The service from the front desk to housekeeping were excellent. Hotel is clean. Parking costs $19/day whether its self park or valet.

Comment: It was a great location for us as we were there solely for Disneyland. We were met with a warm greeting at check-in. The rooms were pretty nice and comfortable. We came home every afternoon to a clean and restocked room. They even dropped off a little gift for our anniversary. All in all, it was a great vacation hotel for us, and Id stay there again.

Comment: Location is perfect for walking to Disneyland, about 5 minutes. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful for anything you need. Our room was always perfectly cleaned and prepared each day while we were out. We stayed here for our anniversary and only mentioned it in passing to an employee, but we received in our room one day a Happy Anniversary gift from the hotel. The rooms are very nice and affordable for the distance to Disneyland. Parking is a bit tight and expensive, but this wasnt an issue for us since we did not park a car here and chose to walk around. Service was as expected and nothing in particular was unsatisfactory, but staff went above and beyond normal operations to make our anniversary trip just a little bit more special.

Comment: Great hotel option a 5 minute walk from Disney front entrance. Rooms were small but clean and beds are very comfortable. Updated TVs in the rooms. Also, the lobby smells amazing. Trust me, youll notice. We were in a room right by the elevator, which was fine for us, but the elevators can be quite noisy going up and down all night, so if you are a light sleeper, perhaps request a different room. We didnt use the pool or hot tub but it looked clean and nice!

Comment: We booked double queen premium view rooms. The rooms were pretty nice, but the view was definitely not premium. All one could see from our window was the driveway, not the Disneyland sky view at all. And definitely not fireworks or any lightshow. What a ripoff. I would have been happy with a regular 2 queen room for a little less money. The bed was comfy enough, but too high for me to get in and out of comfortably. The pillows were a little too thick. The distance from Disneyland is about a block from the crosswalk into the entrance. The hot tub is small but very nice. The kid enjoyed the pool. Reasonably priced food available in the 3rd floor market, plus a couple of microwaves and a toaster and many tables. I would give 4 stars if they hadnt lied about the view.

Comment: For a simple hotel stay right across the street from Disneyland, its pretty great! The beds are comfortable and being able to walk right across the street to the park has been great. The sink in our hotel room is a little clogged, but other than that everything is in good working order and the staff have taken care of us

Comment: Great location for Disneyland parks. The rooms, although cute and clean, are not sound proofed well and there are a lot of children and people up early and late. They had a lot of construction going on during my stay and that added to the noise a lot. They have a little pizza hut/market on the 3rd floor which was good for a snack but not for a meal.

Comment: Rooms was clean, recently renovated...looks nice. The bed was clean and reasonably comfortable. Ours had a king and a pullout sofa. The sleeper sofa was rather small, two kids were really squeezed in. The only complaint was the neighbor noise...you can hear your neighbors with the very thin walls. Other than that, great room very close to Disneyland! In my opinion, it is worth it just for the location alone.

Comment: Such a convenient hotel! My family and I stayed at this hotel for the first time and we had little to no complaints. Disneyland & California Adventure are walking distance away!!! I love love loved that since parking at the parks is ridiculous. Although it was a $15 per day parking fee its better than the $17 at the parks. The staff was very friendly and so kind! Rooms were so clean and spacious! It was just the right amount of fancy and it didnt give off a posh feeling. You could see the fireworks from right outside our rooms! I would definitely come back again!
