In my initial review of FBC I had confused them with Calvary Baptist so Im glad I was finally able to post my review on the right church on the right listing. :)I was so impressed with my visit this Thanksgiving I had to take a couple days to contemplate my review. My review comes from a secular point of view.This year was the first year FBC hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for the community. They invited the shelter im staying in, a residential alchol treatment center, and another local non-profit organization for dinner.It was a massive spread prepared and donated by the parishioners of the church. Every trimming you could think of was out and the desert tableS were a fat mans (me) heaven on earth! Everyone there was beyond outstanding! You could feel the love in the air and in the food. They happily devided the left overs between the organizations and took food to the PD as well.Its my strongly held belief that country moms are better cooks than city moms and this dinner just reinforced that belief. The food was outstanding.If youre in the Greenville area, are Baptist, and looking for a new church I highly recommend a visit to Faith Baptist! They are some wonderful people!!!
