Got a good deal on soil for the garden and a few other supplies, always a nice clean store with friendly people
The store is nicely laid out, similar to the old Quality Farm and Fleet from my childhood. Prices are decent and they have a wide range of animal food, pen materials, tools and sell Generac generators.
Bought a generator thier less than a week ago.. this week they are on sale for 200 dollars off. They refuse to honor the sale price. And of course with a generator that I put 3 hours on breaking it in you can not return. I did like the store. But tractor supply has all the same stuff. And they honor their sales flyers after purchase.Edit: they reached out after my review and fixed the problem. We got the sale price on our generator.

Picked up a leaf bagger we ordered for riding mower, which we also purchased from Family Farm. Enjoyed watching the baby chicks. Always a positive experience.

Farm stores are an interesting assortment of items. We went in looking for deicing salt. Left with 50 lbs of a substitute product. You can find suitable alternatives for a cost savings.
Every animal we have gotten from this location has been sick. Sick rabbit infected all our other rabbits, and we got sick chicks earlier this spring too.
Good selection of farm, pet, and lawn and garden supplies as well as tools, plumbing, and other items. I make many trips here to get supplies for work because it has most things I would have to stop at 2 or 3 places to get
Probley not where you want to purchase a lawn roller. Purchaced a 18×36 PREMIER POLY lawn roller and Discovered it was cracked on each end severly , before use . Took it back and showed employee several others were the same way. WhIle processing a exchange i asked the clerk about the warrenty and promtly got a refund when toldTHEY DONT HAVE A WARRENTY . Was able to purchase one that appears to be of better quality with a THREE YEAR WARRENTY AT ANOTHER FARM STORE !!!

2020-08-01Not so good. I ordered 3 items from 2 other stores. Only 1item came to the Bad Axe. Still waiting on the other 2. I was told the district manager is the only one that can deliver them. Well hes busy for the next 2 weeks. I ordered these items 2 weeks ago. I was told at that time it would be a week to 10 days. That was fine. Now i have to wait another 2 weeks not cool. So Im not a very happy customer. The young man who helped me out at the beginning was awesome.
