Beautiful park, some stuff is falling apart but overall gorgeous and fun
Fantastic little Art in the Park location going on here. Take your time and look at each piece fully appreciate what the artist did.
Such a great deal of talent! Many people have put out their heart and souls in their work. It is a pleasure to be able to walk among the garden and talk to my daughter about the many different presentations.
It was so much fun there! My daughter had a wonderful time ! Everything was just amazing

The sculptures were very nice, but the place wasnt mowed and was overgrown.

Very unique is the best way I would put it. The walking trails are very nice, I took my son with me and he had a great time. The sculpture grounds could definitely use more ground maintenance other than that a great place to go for a nice walk out and about. Also there is a really cute fruit and vegetable stand if you want to call it right next to the area of the statues.

We planted trees in honor of our neighbor who passed away.
Was a nice enough place to visit, I did go out of way to visit. But it was getting late so sun was setting, as it was time change weekend and cloudy. But I did get nice camera pics, even if the cell phones where lacking. Do wish I had arrived earlier as it looked like it had other scenic things to investigate. Nice paths and resting areas.
Love to walk thru this place but they need to clean up branches

Thousands of people come each year to visit Battle Creeks Fantasy Forest. The forest was once a grove of 100-year-old Ash trees but they all died due to the Ash Borer infestation. Leila Arboretum is the home of the Fantasy Forest. Very nearby is the Battle Creek Linear Park, so this a great place for a bike ride and to see art along the way. The Fantasy Forest now has carvings of castles, dragons, and wizards.
Recently attended a wedding there ( my first time going there as well). The place is extremely, peaceful, beautiful and comfortable! Amazing artwork!

It was ok! The trees were cool but they had just finished with some event and there was trash EVERYWHERE.
Perfect place to go. Its Free it does have a donation box. It has areas to sit and enjoy the handmade work. Its from trees that were destroyed by the bug. These trees were hand carved by artists. Amazing work definitely worth a trip.
Small amount of parking, but during the week this isnt an issue. The sculptures are nice to look at, and theres other attractions at the arboretum like disc golf, childrens garden, museum, and a walking path.
Fun filled adventure
Nicely sculpted wood. Out of town relatives love going there and taking pictures. It was great to see all those smiles and adults revert back to being a child again.
The place was amazing and I was not expecting to see Paul bunion or genie in a bottle there. I remember reading about them in like 2nd grade. And i took pictures of all of them.
The park is beautiful and peaceful. The part of forest where the Ash trees are, was killed off by the Ash Bore. They converted the trunks of the Ash to sculptures. All are done nicely and are fun to walk through.

This place is amazing!
The carvings in Fantasy Forest are a treat for kids to observe. This park area of the Leila Arboretum is well kept and features a permanent stage now for presentations and concerts. I was here for the Leilapalooza Music Festival and had a very good time. Sound quality was quite good whether a full band playing or a single person singing and playing acoustic guitar. No concessions most of the time, but during festivals and some special events, there is food and drink available.
I thought it was cool from what I could see of it. It was too cold to walk around, Ill definitely visit again in the spring.
This place is really neat. A whole bunch of trees have been carved in many unique ways...check it out. Its located within the arboretum....

2021-09-24This was such a unique little park. It was so cool to see the art work involved in the trees. I just wish there was a way to better preserve it as nature is eroding some of it. They need a volunteer group to get involved to preserve and find ways to add to it. Just a fun place.

2022-04-12Beautifully Created Nature! My familys been coming here for generations. I adore the smooth rolling landscape, its very well crafted by true artists. Peaceful, serene. Great place for picnics, taking a walk, pictures, and a lot more. See it and youll love it! ❤

2020-09-01Very cute lil stop!! We enjoyed it. There are ones you can sit on to take pictures. Its family friendly. Pets are allowed as long as they are leashed and its FREE but there is a donation box so if you have a little extra to help them out Im sure they would appreciate it.
