We moved from Farmington hills, however, we miss the safety this place provides for our dog. Requiring vaccinations and licenses made us feel safer about our dog I interacting with others here and the owners were all wonderful. The park is clean and has available water supply as well.
This land had a school on it that was took down for this stupid dog park. The school was perfect , the school board had a great idea to remove the school to save moneyYea right ,sound like they saved money to give their selves raises with ,just crooks. But Im sure the dogs Luke it.
I walked past the dog park I will not pay to go to the dog I already pay the state of Michigan enough money I cannot afford the dog Park because Im waiting on my social security disability so you can only go to the dog park if you have money but the kid Park next door is free??

2022-02-27My dog loves coming here. I have found that the park manager is very responsive to requests. The park is clean and I like that you have to have vaccine records to get in.

2022-06-20It is a good dog park. Its open and gated. Dogs have alot of fun inside running around and seeing other dogs aswell.

2021-04-11I actually go to the playground next to the dog park with my kids. Use to be William Grace playground. Great new equipment for the kids or when you feel like being a kid. Lots of area to walk around.

2020-04-01Anyone can bring a bad behaved dog and the owners risk others and their pets at these parks. Also dogs here may not be vaccinated so your pets can get sick because of that. Which is why I avoid all dog parks and play it safe for my good well behaved dogs and their health.

2019-08-09It was a thorough (paperwork) process to get my key fob. Loved the security of it being electronically gated. However, there is zero shade and my dog got a virus within one week of using the park. Not risking taking her there again. Pretty bummed, so is my dog.

2018-08-06Ive been to a lot of dog parks, this one has some weird quirks but overall had a good experience. The water spigot is outside the fence so its a little bit of a pain to fill bowls for the dogs. Also the fence was lower than most parks, only about 5 so our dog could have easily jumped it if hed decided to. I also find the financial barrier to entry to be difficult and the key fob system excessive and exclusionary. I was shocked by the hours, I often took my dog to the park around 6:30 AM before work but when it was light and that isnt an option with this park. As I said, some annoying quirks but overall a nice big park, clean and well maintained.

2018-08-11This is a private community park where there are fees and a faub just to enter. There were about 8 people and dogs inside standing near the bench near the entry. Not one bothered to speak let alone explain the process even though they could clearly see us trying to enter. Detroit should have at least one real public free dog park for visitors. Coming on the weekend prevented us from even being able to get a day pass. Not dog friendly at all. Thankfully their were quite a few businesses with wonderful grass.

2020-04-24Ive been there with my dog just a few times and twice already encountered the owners that cannot control their dogs. Many experts suggest not using the dog parks for this particular reason, and I should have listen to them. Waisted $30, not going there anymore.
