McDonalds in other cities:
This must be the worst McDonald’s in Washtenaw county. It’s the only McDonald’s anywhere around that can’t provide what’s expected on a regular basis. It was bad before Covid, and now you can’t even get reliable service at the drive thru during regular business hours…and when it’s not even busy. They will legitimately just ignore their line of customers until they drive away out of frustration. It’s quite an absurd thing to see.
Dont order here. I have ordered here three times in the past two years. The first time I had to wait 20 minutes, the second time I didnt get my order, the third time was the worst. I had to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes for my order the third time.Go to another McDonalds. Do not order delivery from this restaurant either: your order will get canceled. Why? Because delivery drivers have to wait 30 or 40 minutes to pick up your order (they are not in a line). So, the driver will cancel. Bad.
I Wouldnt give that but no choice. Manager is extremely rude. I had a doordash pickup from here I go in I give the name he says they dont have it. I call doordash so they can figure it out or cancel it. Door dash tries the call he refuses to answer I let them know he just doesnt seem to want to answer. Doordash ask me to let him know they are calling cause they have to talk to them to cancel or resend the order he gets smart with me and say I know I dont have the order. I tell him they need to talk to him he say what they gonna do. I try to explain to him door dash says they will try and call him again. They call again he tells his coworker to answer so he can tell them they same thing he told me. When we answers he tells doordash that he doesnt see the order and that he told me but I am not listen. Doordash explains and lets him know they will resend it. I get the persons food. But if it was my food I would have wanted a refund and I will never go to that one for myself and I plan on telling my friends and family not to also.
Food was ok. Drive thru did not feek to safe as they allow drunks to walk thru the drive thru. Food was pretty expensive as well for the quantity that you recieve and it was nothing spectacular. Compared to other local drive thru restaurants the quantity and the price did not compare this is why I am giving a mediocre rating.
3 stars for long lines and wait time today; ordered the caramel brownie mcflurry via mobile and gave order number on speaker; however, by the time I made it to the pickup window, it had already partially melted.4 stars for staff trying their best; cashier was friendly and helpful.Heres a picture scooping up to the top the brownie bits. Caramel mostly at bottom of cup, so super sweet at the end. Soft serve was still good... like a shake 😀
Waited in line for approximately 3 mins. Then another 2 for someone to talk to me. Then I waited another 3 because someone in front of me had a issue with their order. Finally got to the window and was asked 3 times what my order was. Makes one wonder how fast fast food is. It was hot and tasty though.
If youre going to make delivery drivers sit through your 30 minute line then we wont deliver for you. When were late our ratings go down. What happened to the doorbell system? That worked great but for some reason the employees told me to go through the drive through. No way am I going to lose money and get bad ratings because I have to sit in a long drive thru. Other McDonalds have their lobbies open and it works perfectly.
Service was terribly slow through the drive thru and the order ended up being wrong. Looks like they are understaffed so management needs to step it up and hire people. The people working there seemed extremely overworked and unenthusiastic to be there. I felt bad for them so I didnt make a big thing over my order and just accepted it and left.
Very pleasant. I asked what flavor was the Holiday Pies & was told they didnt have any. But they had 1 apple left which I ordered. Plus a large Coke for 1.00$. However, as well as special Holiday/Winter cups, theyre a new size! More like a Medium being sold now for a large!!!!! This will definitely have an affect on whether I stop in the future!!!!!!!Add to that that my favorite one stopped being a 24/7, & now they close at 10PM,I hardly stop there anymore!
Do NOT come to this location, they are just randomly closing whenever they deem fit. Last two times I tried it was in the middle of the day and they close with no notice. I understand if you are short on staff BUT LET US KNOW YOU ARE CLOSED! Dont keep the displays on like you are open. Both times 10+ people wasting their time sitting in line not realizing.
Never order online in this store. Last time when we ordered here, our nuggets were missing. This time we choose curbside pickup. It says ready in 5 minutes but we wait for almost 20 minutes only to find nothing coming to us. We left without anything. What’s more, the phone never answer us. This is a terrible store. Never order anything online here.
I was in the drive through last week and it was dinner time and we were stuck and not moving for 20 minutes. I called the restaurant twice and no answer. The website said you were open. One person got out of the car and looked inside and saw the restaurant was empty. I get that you’re short staffed. But at least put out sign that says “No staff here. We are closed”. That way you won’t waist people’s time.
Ive been there three times during open hours and they keep telling me theyre closed due to staffing shortages, which is fine and all, but people ahead of me are still being served. It feels like theyre randomly closing as a way to manage rushes, which sounds like poor management to me. I feel bad for the workers that gotta put up with that. Also, corporate McDonalds needs to add a mobile feature where your mobile order wont go through if the restaurant closes.
Please have your employees wear mask and keep their finger nails clean. I get yall are struggling to hire people but I came through a few minutes ago and the guy handing out food didnt have on a mask and he looked in my food bag and kept it open while holding it close to his face, while waiting for another guy to finish making my drink. Then I saw his fingernails had a ton of dirt under them and he put napkins and a straw in my bag. I dont even want to eat these hash browns. Last week I came here to order mc doubles and asked for no ketchup. They gave me mc doubles smothered in only ketchup with a sticker on the wrappers that said no ketchup. I went back and was hushed by the guy who Im assuming was or is the manager and he had my burgers redone. But usually this mc donalds isnt the one I visit unless Im in a rush. Ill go down to zeeb and Jackson. Their food is always hot and fresh and they actually do wear mask and gloves while handling peoples food. And they put up signs letting us know theyll be closed at a certain time for the day or week. This mc donalds has got to do better and work on hiring more friendly people as well.
Literally the worst McDonalds I’ve ever been to. Today I sat stuck in line until everyone finally left after being ignored. I tried to talk to the drive thru but no one answered. I went to the window and was finally met by someone claiming to be the manager. He was so rude. I asked him why we were all ignored and asked if I could place an order. He replied with “maybe depends on what you want”. He was so rude I didn’t even feel comfortable ordering. I don’t know why I keep trying to order from here. Awful.
I drove into McDonalds, line at drive thru was short, but I decided to use curbside pickup anyway - glad I did. The time to order and receive the food was extremely fast. I plan to use curbside pickup if I do not go in the restaurant 🍴 to eat.My last visit was just the opposite - waited 20 minutes, went to the drive up window - person at window was the only employee available to distribute food. He went and got an order, gave it to me, wrong order. Way too much trouble to try to fix it.I am disappointed, great location for me, but I will not be bsck.
If you love waiting in line for over 30 mins for a simple burger and fries, then to get home and have your order not only completely cold but also not even the correct order, this is your place. Try calling them. Theyll never answer. But then when you pull up the next day theyll beat you down like a clown and tell you they dont answer the phone because of prank calls. Good luck getting a receipt with your first order, its the only way theyll contemplate even remaking your original one. If I could give negative stars I would.
I wish I could rate zero stars. I sat in the drive through for 15 minutes today waiting for someone to take my order. (Yes they were open) All the workers were outside smoking and ignoring the line they now had in the drive through. After 15 minutes everyone just left because these workers just didnt care. Horrible service.
Service is very hit and miss, last trip there I waited in line for 15min. Paid for my food and when I got to the second window they handed me my drink then 5min later ask what my order was to then not fully give me all my items. Wasn’t going back due to the line going to the road with many people leaving and food was ice cold.
There was only about 4-5 cars ahead of us in the beginning and it ended up taking around an hour until we got food because of poor organization. We waited in the drivethru for so long just for them to make us wait a long time again at the window, and then be told to wait in the parking lot where like 8 more cars passed by us. We did not have a large order. Was seriously the worst service ever had at fast food place. No excuse.
This has to be the worst McDonalds I have visited. I do not eat McDonalds, but I will pick up for others and each time I have visited here the drive thru line is supper long. The place is always understaffed. Knew a few people who worked here (daughters HS friends) and they all end up quiting as a result of the aforementioned dysfunction. I have personally witnessed a worker speaking ill about delivery service drivers and using swear words regarding them and with his fellow employees out of shear frustration of being understaffed. Tried calling the toll free complaint line provided for this and three (3) other locations in Ann Arbor, but that number does not seem to be manned and encourages you to email them any complaints.
Honestly very disappointed.. my family and i went through the drive through and the lady that took our order, i believe her name was Eliza or something, was being VERY rude to us for absolutely no reason and it was very upsetting. She asked us if we were done with our order every single time we talked to her. We kept saying just one second and she kept telling us our total when we were clearly not done. It also did not help when we got to the first window and she was totally ignoring us.
New review: After 5 years they have finally turned things around. The employees are now nice, and food is made properly. They must have had a management change within the last year or two.Old review:This location is consistently terrible. Ive lived around the corner from here for 3 years now and I have given them 2 years worth of chances. Ive had everything from a ball of hair in the fries (Im not even exaggerating) to diet Coke that is pretty much all carbonation and no syrup, a shamrock shake that was pretty much all syrup (it was completely green and undrinkable. How did they not notice when they handed it to me?). It seems like there is no quality control at all. Also, I usually have a couple special things in my order, extra ketchup/mustard/pickle add mayo. Fries well done. I think they have honored each request one time.I do have this McDonalds poor quality control to thank though, because one time I got fries that were burnt, and they were absolutely amazing. That was when I realized I can order them well done. Obviously not from this location because they wont actually honor it, but other locations will.A year ago, I said I would never go to this place again, and I have held my word. I will drive to the Zeeb Rd. Location every time even though this one is walking distance from me.
I mean its a McDonalds, but here is why its a 0. I am driving the highway 2 am in the morning sign shows food icon, mcdonalds logo and on that logo is 24/7 written bright as day. The sign says next exit, I get off it says 1.8 miles down the road, I drive down the road to find a freaking closed mcdonalds...... fix the sign or tell someone to change it please. No body on a long route wants to get off the highway drive two miles to remain hungry
After being at the U Of M hospital, we just needed to grab a drink and a sandwich. Made our way through the hell of construction to literally sit in the drive thru at the speaker... Nobody every said hold on our anything. We tried talking, nothing. Eventually we left and so did a lot of other people. If you are backed up, just say so.. dont be silent
Sat in the drive thru for 15 minutes at 11pm without moving even though there were only 2 people in front of us. When we finally left we noticed a group of employees in the parking lot...doing...who knows what...Google says theyre open until 4am...yet at 11 they just closed without telling the customers in the drive thru. Wtaf?
This place is the epitome of inefficiency. Delivering for uber eats is a nightmare when you have to come here. What happened to McDonalds? This place is always backed up and theyll tell you to pull through the drive thru to pick up your order (15-25min wait) then when you get up to the window they say come inside! No! You said pull up. Customers report wrong items from this restaurant and I know for a fact they dont follow Covid mitigation. Do not eat here!
The McDonalds on Stadium Blvd in Ann Arbor is run unprofessionally. On numerous occasions, the manger of this establishment closes down in mid peek dinner hours, saying her employees did not come in and she cannot not serve food to the many customers waiting in the drive thru. Two weeks ago, I waited 28 minutes in line and got to the speaker to order when the manager stated she can no longer serve because of being understaffed. She was not courteous and appeared mad and angry at me for questioning this decision. Then, again, this same manager closed down the restaurant again last night - same reason. No staff. I have called the Customer Comment line to no avail. No call back. Why are customers treated this way?
Move In Night on campus. McDonald’s employees sitting on the curb smoking. Headset on. Pull up at the drive thru window and a voice says “we aren’t taking orders right now”. Exhausted and fed up. Who ever owns this franchise needs to check their employees. They are costing you money.
I was not giving my full order. I then had to drive around the store since it was not open to walk up to the drive thru window to get the rest of my meal. My recipes was dropped on the floor then placed back in the bag on top of my fries. Was not until I question the kid working about it did he respond “oh yea sorry”. Really? How many other times have you dropped something on the floor and put it in the bag. Completely disgusted with the service here
I come through this Mcdonalds every couple of months and its the same thing long wait times taking orders from people just pulling up when others have been waiting for minutes to order wrong orders given out. I waited 27 minutes for 2 bacon egg and cheese biscuits hot cakes and a mocha frappe. Even had people leaving the line for having to wait forever to get their order. This by far is the worst Mcdonalds I have ever been to. Time to get your act together!!!!
When they make mistakes they fix them! Just had an experience today where a sandwich was left out of my bag. Called up and spoke with the manager came back in there was a snafu in the sandwich ended up being given to somebody else on accident. Management and staff did everything they could to make sure that they replaced the sandwich expediently.Fast food like any other restaurant is not perfect. To expect perfection is crazy. But when a staff goes above and beyond to correct an error that deserves a lot of praise. There should always be less focus on the errors made and more focus on the attempts to correct them! Thank you for helping me out today!
Paid for a large Dr Pepper, which turned out to be nothing but carbonated water. They had to know. Ive done enough refills and experienced the sputtering that the machine makes when this happens. They could have refilled the machine, offered me something else, or refunded my money. Too lazy and lacking of morals. Im sure they recognized that due to the fact that I probably wouldnt notice until I was miles down the road and that i cant come in the building to complain due to covid, they could get away with it. Wont be back.
Drive thru was a hot mess. We had to repeat order 3x and still was messed up. We order combos and got extra charge for coffee and bacon. Very sad this order was so messed up. It is upsetting that this covid 19 has made employees not wanting to work and customer service is bad.
They ok at times. The lady who took my order was very impatient ask 3 times before I ordered my 1st order if that was it when I had 2 other people who was with me needed to order. I had to tell her to wait. Then git my food and got my order wrong. Got chicken nuggets instead of a big mac.
This is absolutely the worst fast food restaurant at this particular location Ive ever known. Ive been here about a dozen times in the last couple years and I have yet to get an order in less than 5 minutes. About half of my visits it has taken over 10 minutes to get my food from the time I order. Yesterday I went there before work and as I walked in the manager was hanging out outside talking to a buddy in the parking lot just shooting the breeze. I figured maybe they arent busy this time since the manager had time to socialize. I walked in and there was only one cashier with 4 people waiting for food and 3 in line in front of me. After waiting 4 minutes just to take only one customers order I walked out. Im done giving this location a chance. The worst part is that often times the cashier will stand there waiting for the food to come out of the kitchen doing nothing for sometimes minutes while they could be taking orders from the people standing in line. Also, a few months ago I went a few times over the course of at least a month and every time the frappuccino machine wasnt working. Really? This location surely makes a lot of money and it takes over a month to fix a trap machine? It just seems every time like there is no system/organization for taking care of customers efficiently. Its obvious too that nobody seems to care including the manager. Believe me, Ive had more than enough time to watch them while waiting far too long for my food.
Would give it 0 stars if I could. Whoever runs this place is completely incompetent. The place is extremely understaffed. There were over a dozen people waiting in line and only one person at the counter, who was also helping make the food (so sometimes there was no one at the counter to take orders). It easily took over 40 minutes for us to get our order. When we pointed this out, the cashier lady aggressively replied that we needed to be more patient. Definitely not coming back to this place.
Do not use UberEats from this location!! Awful experience. I placed my order, and mind you I only live 5 minutes or 1 mile from this location. It took me about 15 minutes for my food to be delivered, so needless to say it was cold and hard when I got it. Which you could fault uber for the slow delivery time, but the order was wrong to begin with. We were missing a sandwich, the fries were half full and the wrong size, plus I asked for no pickles and they were pickles on the sandwich anyway. When I called to complain the manager said I could be placed in the system for a credit next time I stop in. I spent $34 dollars on cold food, and some of it I didnt even receive. I am very upset, and will never go to this McDonalds again.
Drive through for the most part is pretty fast. The staff that waits on you inside or drive through are always polite and helpful. Its one of the best McDonalds in the area. My only complaint is I think they need some improvements to be made on their speaker system. Having to report your order several times because of the speaker system is annoying. A good place to go. Have never messed up my order!!!
Today made 2 Fridays in a row!Ordered Dbl fillet of fish large meals. Twice I received single fillet of fish sandwiches! Never given a receipt to prove what Ive paid for. Usually eat while driving to next clients home.McDonalds has become a 3rd rate CRAPHOLE!GO TO A CULVERS!YOULL NEVER GO BACK TO ...
I am continuously annoyed with this McDonalds because:- The drive thru wait period is typically 20/30 minutes.- I order a caramel iced coffee every day and 9 out of 10 times, they mess up my order.- I expect to recieved my coffee in ten minutes,or less, whis is fair, but have been late tobwork several times because the employees are so slow.- They continuously say the ice cream machine and the frappe machine is down (which is a lie. I have had friends that have worked there and said that the employees just lie, so that they dont have to clean the machines).I would not recommend this Mcdonalds. I will not be going there again and will be telling my friends about my terrible experiences with them.
I wish I could give not one star at all. I ordered breakfast here for my family spent $50 on bacon egg and cheese McGriddles each McGriddle had one small piece of bacon on it my Husband went back and they made the order over he waited 25 minutes to get the new order and are eggs had mold on them I wish I could upload the pictures of the food I pray to god my children don’t get sick
If youre ordering breakfast for more than one person at the drive thru, check your bag carefully before you leave. They seem to consistently expect customers to share silverware and are stingy with things like syrup, butter, jam, salt & pepper, etc. Also expect them to cop an attitude and act like your request for the missing items you paid for is uncommon and unreasonable. Been there more often than we should admit, and receiving the needed items is rare. On the bright side, the butter isnt frozen solid if they happen to provide it.
So we bought mcgriddles, not too bad right? Oh how wrong we were. We get our food drive off... I bite into my sandwich and to brighten my day the longest Grey hair strings out of the egg like cheese. Needless to say we went back to definitely get a refund, angry but trying to be understanding. The possible stringy Grey haired culprit manager comes out super unapologetic and almost refused a refund. Dont do it to yourself, go to the state street or zeeb road locations. If I could give this manager no stars I would. Crazy unprofessional
One of the slowest service Ive ever seen for fast food service. Must be a bad joke for fast food service, when orders take too long, and then worst when they try to give you wrong order. When you tell them I ordered something else, they waste another 5 minutes staring on their computer screen trying to figure out what is going on. More like a twilight zone, sorry but will never go back there again. Really if I could give them minus 5 stars would not hesitate.
When it open the window to give my food, a cigar smell was so strong that even my drink cup get impregnated with it ! and the cup all dirty around! Thay make me parked to wait for the order which is understandable if you want fresh food ,but when the order finally comes the guy smell as cigars to and my order was missing an item. They should be carefully with the customer service presentation. Im not going back there .
I was walking in the neighborhoodThen thought to have a meal, the clerk slammed the door in my face, not even offering an alternative option I stood there in the cold weather for 10 minutes waiting for the manager. Then, when she came she refused to take my order. Obviously, the whole staff is incompetent.
Service is so freakin courteous! Problem is, 9/10 times the fries are not good. We all know how old fries look, taste and feel. We all know how it is to get back on the road with that fried food feeling, only to reach your hand in the bag to pull out something limp and soggy. Just make new fries please. I promise I will stop ordering them without salt if you just make them fresh.
Very very slow. There is barely any staff and I am not going to start with the drive through. Sometimes I go there just to get a quick cheeseburger then go to soccer practice but it makes me 20 minutes late because I stuck in line. But it pretty clean. And the food tastes okay.
I get really inconsistent service At this location. Once I waited 20+ mins for my order. At other times its quite fast (and I order weird orders like with no buns etc) At the same time theyve never screwed up my ordee and the people are always nice. So solid 3. If they speed it up a bit more, Id be willing to adjust
Expect to spend at least half an hour in the drivethru every time and the workers are a rude mess of a joke no matter the time of day. Also the workers literally smoke next to the drivethru right next to where you order so you get to breathe in their second hand smoke the entire time!!!!!!!!!!! Gross gross gross!
So so bad. Wrong soda (zero instead of diet), missing bacon which was clearly indicated and paid for. Waited 20 minutes after paying in the drive thru and being told to wait in the app order spot. Another customer that came out of the restaurant parked in the app order spot next to me then came out and said she had to go in after waiting 15 min. I started there at 12:05, paid at 12:20 and didnt get food until 12:47 after going inside. They gave me extra food I didnt want to make up for the wait I suppose, but then still got the actual food I ordered wrong. Even still, for fast food, 40 minutes is not acceptable. I was unable to complete the rest of my errands at lunch and likely could have had a sit down meal much faster. Absolutely terrible. Will not go back.
Worst bacon egg cheese mcmuffin I’ve ever had. Muffin was chewy/crunchy. Cheese was dark orange and old. The latte tasted bitter and like they put way too much caramel flavoring in it...undrinkable. The few times I’ve visited this location have been horrible. I usually don’t leave comments unless a business is either really bad or really good. I DO NOT RECOMMEND VISITING HERE. You have many other choices nearby that you should try instead. Hopefully this store fixes the issues which i suspect run deep and likely start at management.
So I typically dont get McDonalds, but Im going into work on my midnight shift not pull up at 10:30. And waited at the drive-thru order line for about 5 minutes and heard nothing from no one. so I proceeded to call them and ask them what time they close and they say 11, but theyve stopped taking orders because theyre closing early tonight. She proceeds to get angry because I asked well why didnt someone just say that youre closed instead of having me wait for 5 minutes and then hangs up on me. This place has the worst service and this is my third time in one year going to the same place because theyre right up the road from my job, and not once have they ever been kind.
The absolute worst McDonalds location in this area. I cant tell you the amount of times theyve caused huge delays in the line or have been out of simple things like chicken nuggets or ice cream at random times of the day. They actually did something awful to my friend the other day and for that Ill never go back to them - unfortunately the police had to be involved because of the Mcdonalds staff incompetence. Truly bizarre!
It literally took half an hour to get my food and Im pretty sure my fries say in a bag on the counter by the window the entire time judging by how cold they were, and I dont mean they were just kind of warm, I mean they ranged from room temperature to did this just come out of the fridge? cold. No apology. Nothing. One car in front of me and two behind me left without getting their food.
The workers there arent rude like the one on Washtenaw in Ypsilanti, one of the workers taking my order helped me with my order and was all around a great person even though it was later in the night! 😀 And the only place that actually gives me my extra barbeque packets that I paid for lol!
Well, this is a McDonald’s location located on the west side of Ann Arbor on West Stadium Boulevard. I happen to enjoy this McDonald’s greatly. I’m off and go gone there to do a little bit of work while I had some downtime. I can get some cheap coffee that doesn’t taste very good but it’s cheap. And there’s free Wi-Fi. I’ve always been treated decently well by the staff.
Its a McDonalds so the food is predictable. But at about 2:15 in the afternoon the service was slow. I went inside but I have a theory they prioritize people in the drive-thru. My theory is they assume they are more likely to lose a sale in a slow car line than if people walk in the door. So they service the cars at the expense of indoor customers. Just my observational theory.
This location made my order completely wrong. The manager Dominque was very rough with me after I politely asked for it to be fixed. She slammed my wrongly made food in the trash and accused me that I ordered something that I did not order at all. She made excuses for the check out person because they were new. Bottom line, orders need to be made right or remade correctly and the customer does not need to be treated in a nasty manner by manager Domique. Store owner watch the video footage in your store for 6:15pm on July 26.
Terrible all around. Not the worst, but close. Food always tastes like old grease and nuggets are cooked to wood-like consistency. Fries, way over salted, and cold by the time I got home (6 min away). Guy working the drive thru looks at me like Im crazy if I ask a question, or make a suggestion. Asked for a large drink with meal, and got charged extra $1 because they up-sized my whole meal when I only asked for a large drink. This McDs really really needs to get it together!
You know, Ive been a good steady customer of this place. Ive eaten lunch there nearly every day for the last 4 years. But the people who run the place treat me with absolute contempt.Prices have been raised substantially over the last year. The meal I usually get has gone from $5.54 to $6.99 in the last 18 months. The containers of fries are almost never filled completely, and when I complain about getting shorted, they get violently angry. They accuse me of lying, and they swear at me. Youd think, for a dedicated steady customer, theyd treat me with a little respect. But it seems to be beyond them. Theyre hostile, hostile, hostile. So, if you want people to take your money, and treat you like vermin, this is the place to go. Ive never dealt with such petty unhelpful people, in a service business, in my entire life.
As a former employee of this establishment who worked for 5 months, I had a miserable time working here. My experience working here from March-August 2016 started off fine, but went downhill quickly.Three months into my job, half of the staff left the place making it impossible to take care of orders. We would have drive thru lines that would last for 2-3 hours, and customers would constantly complain about service. There would be cases where I would have to multitask on multiple areas, such as working on drive thru and the cash register at the same time during lunch hour, simply because we didnt have enough employees. This ultimately made working a nightmare, as an establishment with a lack of employees during rush hour is an exhausting and embarrassing experienceOn top of that, the female managers, particularly Charlotte, were horrible at their job. They would mess up my work hours without informing me, making me work longer hours. I usually worked from 2-7, because of school, but they soon changed that to 2-9 and then 2-11 without telling me. I only learned about this when they prevented me from clocking out, and when I told them I couldnt work those hours, they refused to listen despite me telling them constantly. Plus, they disrespected customers and staff, which might have led to more of them quitting their job. I recall meeting new employees for one week and thinking our place was going to be more efficient, only to learn later that they would quit one week into their job, most likely due to management. There was even one incident where a female customer who wanted a little more ice cream on her sundae, but the manager refused to do that, and ended up giving her the mean eye. When I decided to give her extra hot fudge, my manager ended up harassing me, and the female customer had to come to my defense since my manager was acting incredibly rude. Another incident had them accusing me of losing money when I was working as a cashier, and they said I had to pay a certain amount of money or not be allowed to work for some days, even though I didnt do anything wrong. To top it all off, the machinery in the establishment was in poor condition. The ice cream machine and the fryer always broke down, and when they did work, you were lucky if the food came out cooked. There was even an incident where our drink machine at the drive thru line broke, leading us to go to the drink machine out in the sit down area and bring it to the drive thru line, causing our lines to increase even more. What made this incident even more frustrating, was that one of the female managers quit her job on the spot, probably due to the stress of managing an establishment that was in poor condition.Bad management, poor machinery, and lack of staff lead to a pretty poor experience here. I ended up leaving in August 2016 after my manager kept on changing my hours once more. There is only so much one can take from a poorly maintained fast food restaurant, and Mcdonalds on Stadium Blvd was no exception. There is a reason why so many of the staff I knew for one day/week, left the following day/week. Also, even after raising their minimum wage to $11 per hour, you would think the restaurant would do good, but it still has yet to make a change in the way it operates. The lines are still long, service is slow, reviews are worse, and the decision to have delivery through Uber Eats was not a smart idea if better service was a priority for them.Overall, not a very good experience and not a good establishment to work for, and judging by the reviews people have been posting recently, it looks like things have only gotten worse. My suggestion to improve this joint would be to have Kiosks and better management, as it would cut lines a lot more faster, and better management would lead to more customers and employees coming. Until then, you are better off working somewhere else and getting your fast food somewhere else.
This is the worst McDonalds ever. Besides constantly screwing up orders that are almost always cold. They dont bounce between the 2 lanes correctly causing backups and essentially make the double lane useless. Fries taste like they were microwaved (you know that taste) and they are rude/unprofessional. The exception being when the middle aged white lady is running the window. She is very polite and upbeat. My food is always correct. Its like they run an A team during lunch and garbage all other times of day. Avoid McDonalds in Ann Arbor unless its at noon.
Probably the slowest McDs Ive ever visited. First I was in the drive thru behind 1 car. That car was ignored for 3 other cars. Then I thought Id be smart and jumped out of line and walked in and still waited for over 5 minutes for 3 total customers. 2 stars may be gracious!
This manager was the rudest service experience Ive ever had. Our uber driver ordered at the drive-thru for us. We pulled up to the first window which had a written sign that said cash only and was not manned, so we pulled thru to the 2nd window. We handed the man our credit card, he said. I aint takin that. and closed the window. Uber driver asked why, he opened it up and said its cash only, Uber driver clarified that we were not made aware of that but handed him our cash instead. Then the man asked what we ordered, and the uber driver asked, shouldnt you read it back to us? and the man responded abrasively and rudely so the uber driver asked to deal with the manager instead. Well, then the man pictured in this comment, the manager, came to the window and said, We are both managers tonight and we refuse to serve you. and slammed the window shut and left. Well we had already given them our cash, so uber driver got out and opened the window to plead with them that all were here for is the food and well leave and that weve already paid for the food. The manager responded by saying that if we do not leave immediately that he will call the police and have us arrested. They took our money and refused to give us our food and we had no clue as to why... He eventually came back to the window, threw a bag of food and our money out at us and slammed it shut and we left.
Good service up until after 11pm. Its always something ...cash only, their systems are down, McFlurry/shake machine is broke or bring cleaned...every time.Edit: 3rd time in a row, all different times after midnight, I hear. Were rebooting the systems so we cant take any orders.
UPDATE: November 2020. This location has really stepped up their safety precautions at the drive thru. Store protocol is posted at the windows, plexiglass guards are up, and all staff are wearing masks and gloves. I feel much more comfortable continuing to return. Thanks!ORIGINAL REVIEW: May 2020. Drive Thru. Pandemic going strong. Employees wore no masks or gloves, despite McDonald’s national website claiming that they are following such guidelines. One had a mask halfway on (which is like not wearing one at all). Until they make known that their employees are more strictly following safety precautions, I will not return.
I use to love going here for coffee or a late night burger but I havent been back in over a month. The night crew was just horrible. I went 2 nights in a row and both times my fries were ice cold and my burger that I paid quite a bit on was tragic. The woman at the window was talking about how the customers better wait and was getting on her nerves. Very I professional and bad food. Morning crew was always amazing. I will never go back.
3-star: my 1st visit: They missed my 3 little bottles of chocolate milk.5-star: my 2nd visit: was looking a particular sold out Happy Meal toy among several M stores in Ann Arbor. This 1:1] staff is very nice, willing to check Happy Meal toy for me. Staff of some other stores respond like a robot.
Never got workers so most of the time they slow. I try not to be a bug about it but its hard because they act like they dont like to fix the mistakes when they know they make a lot of them with sick a small staff. The owner doesnt do all the deals here either. Feels like Ann arbor people can afford it aint that a trip
I visited on May 7th at 12:45 PM. I didnt get me CORRECTED order until 1:10 PM. The manager was very rude slamming my food in bag obviously frustrated that I had brought attention to the fact my food was wrong. When then began to go into her shirt and adjust her bra straps, twice. This is now a health and safety problem, hygiene! This manager needs coaching and food handling training. I will report this matter to the proper authorities.
I have been to this McDonalds multiple times. It used to be an average location. Now it has poor quality, slow service. Also, the people working are not friendly or customer service oriented. Ive seen everything from yelling cashiers to angry managers. I couldnt bring myself to say I hated it, but I almost feel 2 stars is too high.
I only stopped at this one for breakfast 5 times so far on the way in to work. Each time I stopped I had a good experience whether it was the 4 times I ordered inside or the one time I used the drive-thru. I can usually beat the drive-thru by ordering inside and getting a carry out.I think the problem with the perceived slow and mixed up service in the Drive-Thru isnt the fault of the staff but the of the customers at this and some other fast food restaurants that use double drive-thru lanes. When using this type of a drive-through cars are supposed to alternate and take turns driving up to the window kind of like coming to a four-way stop on the roads. Trying to jump in out of the proper order just screws it up and makes it harder for the people working inside to keep it all straight. Also if you order special orders dont be surprised if you need to take a few more minutes and wait for your food and are asked to park in the special order spots so you dont hold everybody else up.
Youre first greeted by signs on the door explicitly stating that you are only welcome to stay 30 minutes. Between the wait to place your order and the wait for your food, youll be lucky if that leaves you ten minutes to eat.The quality of food is typical for the chain, but this particular location especially struggles with customer service and accuracy. When we cave to a request for a happy meal we usually prefer to drive ten minutes out of the way to the Zeeb Road McDonalds. When the extra time seems too inconvenient and we come back to the Stadium location we end up regretting it. Its not unusual to get through both drive-thru windows without a single word of acknowledgement from the staff. If you catch them on a good day you may only have one item from your order missing or incorrect. That applies to the drive-thru, eating in, or walking in and asking for it go.The grounds are usually well maintained and the interior is typically in pretty good shape, but its not enough to compensate for all of the negatives.
Pulled up to the speaker to order and no one answered, so I pulled up to the window and no one came to it even thought I could see 3 people in there. It was an hour before closing time and it seemed like they just wanted an easy night with no customers. So taco bell got my buisness.
Terrible service. Service is usually slow here but my last visit I waited over 25 minutes in their drive thru for a salad and a drink. The worker at the window said they only had three workers but this is still unacceptable. To top it off, I received the wrong dressing, my salad was missing some ingredients and there was only about a quarter of the chicken thats usually in this salad.
This place has really gone down hill since they have changed ownership! The double ordering lane does them no good, we still sit and wait for well over ten minutes just for someone to take our order! The food tastes like complete crap!! The last two fruit and yogurt parfaits have been chunky and rotten. And half the time we drive away with items missing from our order, and we refuse to go back and wait for another hour to get our missing items. I refuse to go back to this place until they shape up or go out of business, which is going to happen. They have lost so much business lately because nobody wants to sit for a half hour to get a burger and a pop. So much for calling it fast food, you could go to a real restaurant and sit down to eat and it would be faster then going through this drive through. Please save your time and do not go to this Mc Donalds!!
They are usually busy this early and can get people in and out but they wasnt paying attention to the cars pulling up and didnt take cars as they came in, they answered drive thru orders that came after us. I LOVE McDonalds orange juice but it seem like they added water to my juice like they ran out and didnt want to tell me, GROSS.. VERY DISAPPOINTED
Very poor customer service, and refusal to cooperate with clients dedication to environmental respect. They refused to serve my coffee in my own travel mug. They intentionally wasted their own cup when I asked about this before ordering. Then they failed to have skim milk except told me I would have to buy a pint! So they couldnt keep one open in the fridge? Next time I just went to Panera Bread downtown. This place shouldnt be in Ann Arbor. I get better service in NJ.
Terrible place. The worst McDonalds in the Ann Arbor-Ypsi area, if not in the entire United States. All but two staff members are rude and incompetent. I know this is not a five star restaurant but they could at least make their food look halfway presentable. A friend of mine works there and tells me they treat them horribly. The hours are messy, paychecks never come on time and the food conditions are horrifying. I would like to call out Charlotte, the new general manager for being the nasiest, most disrespectful person that has ever graced this planet with her presence.
This location is awful, almost always a long wait in drive thru while staff runs around with seemingly no idea of whats going on. the food is what it is, but today they didnt even bother to toast the english muffin on my breakfast. ever eaten a raw english muffin? doesnt improve an egg mcmuffin either.
I swear every time I come to this McDonalds I have to wait a minimum of 10 mins for a Coke and if Im ordering food, make that 15 mins plus. And that is if there are no other cars in line. I feel sorry for the employees - poor management and corporate. Hire more trained staff, please!
Sauces here are not free except ketchup. They charge 36¢ per dipping cup here. Ive never come upon a McDonalds in America that charges for sauces before. Cashiers were rude, irritable, and impatient, and they yelled at me for asking simple questions. One of the most disappointing McDonalds experiences Ive ever had.
It sucked!! Kept waiting in drive thru.. it is open and no one responded!! Later our group left the car in drive thru with many cars behind and went to the window and knocked, only to be told that not one of both working right then know how to operate the drive thru kiosk or whatever it was🙄!! All the cars following had to leave and we went to taco bell next to it.. we later saw other cars coming and waiting for some time only to realize no one is attending them!! We even suggested them to switch off the lights so that they would know drive thru is closed but they kept them on!! Donno why!! It sucks!!
Went through the drive through for a coffee one day and they sold me a coupon book for free kids stuff (ice cream, hamburger, yogurt, etc) for $1. When I went back to use it they made me wait for 5 min to get manager approval since he didnt think they took those. When the manager finally came over she said absolutly nothing to me, typed on the computer and walked away. I assumed that was approval. I then stood there for 15 min waiting on my childs cone. The guy seemed annoyed that we only came in for a free cone.
After years of religious patronage, years of treating this place like your loveable cousin who just cant seem to get your order right, I am DONE with this store. Today was the last straw- after recieving a meatless Big Mac through the drive thru and not discovering its vegan tendancies until we were home, I drove back to the store to replace it and get a tote of cookies. I suggested to the manager that some allowance should be made on the cookies because of the error and the problems it caused. I was told that their policy is to not give anything away. I reminded him that it was also store policy to include hamburgers in their hamburgers. Alas, this did not sway him. For the last 7 years, Ive gone to this store every Friday and spent $20 each trip. That works out to about $7k total. Tomorrow is Friday-- the beginning of a new era.
I wish I could give this place less than one star. The manager who was on tonight was incredibly rude hung up on me and stop talking to me through the drive-thru.There drive-through is always closed down so if you would like to wait an extra half hour to get McNuggets be my Guest but I would not recommend this McDonalds just drive a little bit further to a different location
Come here if you dont mind waiting 15 minutes in the drive through. Staff seems lazy & chit chatting with each other when you get up to the window. & the kid that handed me my cone it was literally like falling off the cone horizonal so I asked if he could redo it so it didnt get all over me and he goes back and does it right and hands it to me and says does THIS meet your standards? OK BRUH the ice cream was literally TOPPLING off the cone it would have gotten all over my lap.. No need to be rude about it.
Food order took forever to get ready, and it wasnt a busy time. I dont expect greatness from McDonalds food, but the fish sandwich and chicken nuggets were very dry, and almost cold, and I dined in. Probably the least enjoyable dining experience I have ever had in a McDonalds restaurant.
Mostly I try to avoid fast food, but Sunday mornings I frequently like to walk down to the McDonalds on Stadium (its about a half mile from my apartment) and have breakfast. For many years Ive done this about once or twice a month, but in the last year one can never guess at what time theyre going to decide to unlock the doors, even though the dining room hours are posted as 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. (Yes, even on Sundays) Its very frustrating when you REALLY want some McDonalds hash browns to start your Sunday morning off, but are denied because management has decided not to open at the advertised time. I could understand if something happened once in awhile to prevent them from opening, but this seems to happen frequently.
In my town McDonalds is a great place to relax, with the good services and nice food I love it. They always handle with care. The prices arent to high so its fair. It has more choices then you can think of, and that is why I give McDonalds a 5 on the chart.I loooovve McDonalds!!
40-minute drive-thru wait - I believe they forgot to start our order, which I only learned after going back in the store after waiting in spot one for almost 20 minutes; it took another 20 minutes to get the order, after several mistakes putting it together - several people came in while I was waiting asking for refunds due to the wait - one bad night?
Every time we stop at this location, the mangers are yelling at the staff or demeaning them in some way. Overall, the customer service is very poor. We will not be going back to this location because, there are plenty of other McDonalds restaurants so dont waste your time with this one!
Waited in line for a half an hour this morning and did they help to nobody about 12 cars sat outside honking and no one was notified if they were closed for the day or what but everything online said that they were open and because I was trapped in a long line of honking cars I am now late for work without my morning coffee
It is odd that there is a 30-minute loitering sign... Considering it currently took 20 minutes just to place an order only behind one person... All the while the manager is having giggly conversation with trainees... I thought she could offer them some on-the-job training... Or be an example... Just when I thought that... The young man working the window came out and politely asked her for help... He used the word need... She politely ignored him with a hand in the air...

2022-06-19Yet another McDonald’s disappointment. I was waiting at the take out speaker for several minutes on June 18th at 6:11 am. No one took my order and I made sure they were open. Another car pulled into the 2nd speaker and I thought could hear someone taking her order. I waited and left without ordering as she pulled to the window. I saw a man looking at me as he took her money. I just left. After my appointment I went back to use the restroom. It wasn’t busy so I decided to order lunch inside. After getting my drink I noticed a bag placed behind a high set of trays. 4 of the workers just started talking with each other and laughing. I said excuse me several times with no one even acknowledging my existence. I reached around to grab the bag as i had waited 7 minutes.I will never go back here. Not only do the employees not care about the customers, but are rude as well. I’ve ran into nothing but bad experiences at many McDonald’s restaurants lately. It’s probably time to start going to a new fast food chain.Save your time and money, this is an awful place.

2022-01-20I love this McDonalds. I frequently order on the app and then pick up in the drive thru. I love the two lane drive thru. Theyre always fast, and Ive never had an incorrect order.

2022-08-11Quick... had 9 minutes to get to work which is next door. I was on time and everything was there. Curtious and pleasant at 7:51. No complaints except the lady that honked her horn behind me. 3 cars ahead of us!!! Almost bought her food and took it but wasnt in a petty mood.

2022-03-26Youre allowed to order inside, but not allowed to stay inside to eat! That was very disappointing and not really for a reason other than they didnt want to clean it there was nothing really there was no napkins or anything out in the in the area though the lids were fully stocked. For the price you pay for fast food these days you should at least be able to eat inside. But instead my family and I went to the park and had a nice picnic. Had it rained we wouldnt have had a good experience at all though.

2022-08-19Im not sure if its different ownership or management or crew, but the quality of food and service has gotten to be pretty awesome at this location. It could be that they are so much more busy than they were in the time before the lockdown. But whatever the combination, its a upper tier fast food location

2022-05-21Weird experience with this one.. couldn’t get drive thru cause went by foot, couldn’t order inside cause lobby closes at 5, and curbside was confusing to say the leastWhen you choose mcdonald’s, you’re expecting the same consistent meal every time. Well, this time… it was bad.Ordered 2 meals and didnt get any ketchup and they forgot our extra sauceOrdered fries instead of the apples in a happy meal and didn’t get thatMcflurries genuinely tasted like plain ice with oreoGood things:Ordered extra m&ms and they got that rightThe filet-o-fish was goodSome employees were very kind (others were not necessarily nice)

2022-07-10First, let me say the lady that took my order has the best energy.. She deserved the tip I left.. Not the same at the pick up window although she started with a smile.. Theres a sign on the menu board stating the world is short of staff and to be kind to the ones that showed up.. So I decided to ask if they were hiring.. I asked about pay rate and she said depending on experience.. She then closed the window.. When she opened the window to hand me my food, I told her Serv Safe certified and 20 years restaurant experience.. She acted as if she didnt know what I was saying, so I said I asked about a job and you closed the window on me.. She said she was busy.. I said no, you just turned and had conversation with your co-worker.. She closed the window again..Maybe she is the reason that particular store is understaffed.. She did let me know that she wasnt the hiring manager.. In my brain I can only imagine how many people she has turned away seeking employment.. To keep it positive.. Just tell your employees to share where and how to fill out application.. Kindness goes a long way in this new world..

2022-05-27I just went though the drive thru, for the first time there was no line lol. However, Im never disappointed in the staff, they are always friendly amd go as quick as possible. I will say tonight the young man that gave me my drink and mcdouble was just the sweetest. Its nice having friendly service at the end of a long day!

2022-06-13Most of the people hear are very rude. Walked inside to order instead of waiting in the drive thru line that was backed up into Stadium and got yelled at by one of the workers and was told to leave that they’re drive thru only when there’s no sign that says that and the doors were unlocked. Maybe if you don’t want people walking in either put a sign up that says Drive thru only or lock the doors!

2022-08-01Only checked online to see when they open in the morning. Was looking for someplace to drive through for breakfast on my way to work at tomorrow’s primary. But since I have to be at Northside at 6 (like many breakfast places), I’ll bring in something from home.
