Comment: Wonderful selection of bikes here, the owner is extremely knowledgable and helpful, and Miles was really nice and got us set up with our rentals quick. Had a fun cruise down to the beach and to the bolsa chica ecological reserve, its a great time definitely check this place out, brought my cousin from New York and he loved experiencing the cali lifestyle for a day

Comment: My sons e-bike had a nail in it, took it to this shop. They changed the tube inside. Charged him $21 for the tube and $50 labor. Within an hour while he was with his friend, the same tire exploded and both fell, had scratches on his bikes frame. They were lucky that they did not get hurt. Left a message the same day on their phone and they did not even call back. Had to work from home for two days as I had to drop my son to school, until today his friends dad had a chance to took the bike back to the shop. They charged him $208 for a new tire. When I talked to the manager, he said it was my sons fault that he did not put air and that caused the explosion as the actual tire was faulty. I told them why you did not notice it then and didnt tell him that he needed a new tire instead of changing the tube. He said he did not charge him $20 this time for a tube. definitely they did something wrong that the tube exploded after an hour of changing it. They did not own their mistake and charged a lot of unfair money when they shouldnt and it was their fault. They are not professionals and not honest people. Never ever go there.

Comment: The staff here was so nice and helpful. They had an electric tricycle for my daughter. One of the few shops in HB where I could find one to rent. The location is not on the beach however there is plenty of free parking and it’s a few blocks away from the beach road. The bikes are in great shape. We paid 60$ to rent the trike for 2 hours and 50 to rent an e-bike for 2 hours. Great experience. We would rent from here again.

Hashemi and Andrid did awesome work upgrading and installing the brakes. Their customer service is top notch! Our son looooves his new setup!It is great knowing they are there for any of our son’s needs.

Comment: Excellent experience. Thanks FatBike! Super friendly staff. I called the previous day to explain what we were looking for, and they were super patient with all of my questions. (I really appreciate the customer service because other places I call, they just tell me to look at the website.)We rented two bikes and a dog trailer for 4 hours. It was our first time on an e-bike, and our dogs first time in a trailer (we brought our own harness and clips to keep the dog from jumping out). 4 hours was the perfect amount of time. They also offer helmets, but we brought our own. Its nice that theyre located a little bit away from the beach so we got the experience of riding through residential neighborhoods, and then on to the paved beach bike path. It was a little windy and we were really glad to have the e-bike so we could enjoy the view and pedal less. Will definitely rent here again, and if we ever decide to purchase an e-bike, we will definitely be shopping here first. So what are you waiting for? Call them!

Comment: We took a couple of Electric bikes at Fatbike for 2 hours. Went from Huntington to Seal Beach and came back. The bikes worked very well and were quite powerful. Mostly use the pedal assist in level 3.We were helped by Zeeshan. He was very nice and gave us good advices.Will definitely come back!

Comment: We saved the best for last! Spent two weeks in LA and Vegas and our final day was renting eBikes from Fat Bike Rentals. We spent the entire day riding on the beach and bike paths on Huntington Beach and Newport Beach. They took good care of us and gave us tips on an easy route to the beach and where to eat! Comment: Friendly owners and great service.This was our first time ride an electric bike and was a little apprehensive about it. Traveling with my young adult kids, I was nervous about riding the bikes on our own, so we did the tour option and so glad that we did. The owner, Hashemi, was awesome! Very patient making sure we all felt comfortable before taking off. The location is about 1 mile from the beach, but don’t let that stop you. It really was pretty easy getting to beach. We went all the way to Newport Beach and had just a wonderful experience. I know that I could not have done that on our own…it is not a straight shot on the beach, so you have to know where to go. My kids had a great time. Hashemi let my son ride the “chopper” and he loved it. We took some great pictures and was a highlight of our trip. We were able to see a part of Newport Beach that we would not have seen in a car. You will not be disappointed. The bikes look very cool and super easy to ride.

Comment: Had a wonderful time with my family touring Huntington Beach along the bike path. Highly recommend. Although I wish I tried different bikes. Im 52 which landed me a kids electric bike. They said its not for kids but (at the end of our rental period) when I tried one of the bikes that the 54 child was riding, it was insanely fast, with gears too! Mine had a top speed of 8 mph and the other one had 25 mph. So maybe lie about your height?! Especially if youre an adult, to get the full experience.

Comment: I rented an electric bike for the first time and found it to be the best invention after sliced bread. These guys are pro at what they do. Theyve figured out what a renter expects. Great friendly attitude and service + the bikes perform as expected. The batteries last as expected. Look no further if youre in Huntington Beach. They also provide helmet and locks at no charge (yes, you have to give them back after your ride). And yes, free parking. Havent seen it getting any better in HB.

Comment: WARNING Ever have a Nightmare Neighbor? One who tried to steal your cable? Then from there your vehicles start having damage? Flat tires. Your bicycles that are chained to the house column are stolen bc the lock was professionally cut? Garden has liquid that was clearly thrown? You couldnt provide proof until you installed cameras and then it stops? Or does it? Hmmm, Neighbors? Nightmare Neighbors are Nightmare in business! WARNING! This is where neighbors park their work vehicle right in front of my garage and my vehicles so I cant access anything! Again, nightmare Neighbors; Nightmare in business!! Professionally cut bike lock..hmmmm what business can cut a bike lock?

Comment: These bikes are amazing! The owners are so down to earth and they make the experience that much better! The bikes are electric and so fun to ride! They are strong, good for off-road, and so easy to get used to! Ride them on the sand, on the grass, on the sidewalk, literally anywhere! You can use the pedals and use the electric power for maximum speed! The experience was a blast in beautiful Surf City, USA!
