Being out of my office for a meeting in Grand Rapids, I needed to print 8 copies of a 20 page deck. Something that in my office would take 10 minutes (max!) to print.First tried the self service printers. After 5 minutes of following the instructions for self printing, the machine showed an error. Decided to go to the counter and get help from an associate.When I asked for the 8 copies of the deck, which I was hoping to get right away, the associate said that it was a huge project doing such a print...I showed by disbelief, but she refuted saying their commercial printers take longer than office printers. They wouldnt be able to give me 8 copies within 1 hour before the office closed (my meeting was early in the morning). So I had to go for 4 black/white and 4 color copies.It doesnt make any sense that in a shop that is specialized in printing, it takes more than 1 hour to do what I can do in an office printer in 10 minutes.Went back after one hour to pick up the copies and the price tag was $80!!!! 50 cents per each page!! What a robbery!Would never recommend to anyone using these printing services.
I dont know how all these other reviews are so bad. I just went there and it was fine. The service was a little slow but it was because all 3 of the employees were helping customers through stuff. The guy who helped me was fine and it was only like $1.50 to print and scan a couple documents.

2022-08-0607/27/22 Polly B. was F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C. In addition to a drop off, I had many complicated shipping items and she solved them all. Rapidly. Please give her a raise.

2022-07-2910/10 customer service - Walgreens canceled our order for programs on the day of the wedding but FedEx was able to save the day and print them in 2 hours

2021-07-08I had a number of things to do at FedEx today. I had some returns to drop off, some paperwork to ship, a box to ship, and some found paperwork that needed shredding. I went to FedEx expecting a normal experience. Drop it off, pay some money, be on my way. But, today’s experience was different because I had the pleasure of interacting with Polly. Polly was a delight. Not only was she super efficient, she was also super friendly. She gave me a handy tip that we could reschedule a delivery if we didn’t think we’d be home. I told her there was a doorman who collects the packages, so we probably wouldn’t need that. Polly seemed genuinely happy that there was that little bit of convenience in the receiver’s life. I also think she genuinely wanted me to have a nice day when she told me to have a nice day. She was so genuine and pleasant, she turned this mundane errand into something very pleasant. Highly recommend looking for Polly when you need help with shipping or other FedEx-y things. She was so lovely and really brightened my day!

2020-02-13Wasted two hours at this location making a custom business card that didn’t save due to a program error. The manager couldn’t care less! Traveled across town to Staples where an associate designed and printed my cards in less than 10 minutes for half the cost that I would have paid at FedEx.

2020-03-05Abysmal!! Had to go all around the block, checking every front porch for my delivery on a stormy day, found the package on the other end of the block!! FYI, my house has the number clearly written on the front door in LARGE letters. The customer service phone number is a dead end, if the website tracking page says the package was delivered, its gonna say the same. Couldnt even get a representative. Two hours on a weekday which Im not getting back.This is the THIRD time they messed it up. I have nothing against the office staff, its always the delivery/pick-up person who messes it up. Fedex should at least check if the delivery person has COMMON SENSE before they hire them.

2014-03-27Terrible service from the machines; acceptable service from the people, when you can find them. I will take my business elsewhere, and I recommend you do the same.I spent well over an hour here printing color copies, in a couple of formats, of four different documents. Some I knew I would need full service for, and the employee who helped me out at first was indeed very helpful and efficient. But then I tried the self-service machines to print simple front and back copies. It would only open one of the four PDF files. One employee tried to explain that a PDF created on a Mac was a different sort of file, but Ive never encountered that before. (Isnt the purpose of a file type, and specifically a PORTABLE Document Format, to be readable on any machine that can open that file type?) Ive had the same problem at multiple Fedex stores, and I hate to be suspicious, but it seems like a convenient way to convert self-service business to full service, where the rates are doubled.So when I did indeed make that shift to full service, there wasnt a lot of service to be found. Three of the four employees had disappeared into a break room (and then re-appeared smiling some 15 minutes later) despite the line forming. I had to wait an additional half hour until everything was ready.When I looked at my watch as I left, I couldnt believe how long I had spent on such a simple job. Not a good experience.

2013-07-18I recently moved into Plaza Towers and was really excited to have printing and shipping services so close! I went to get some posters printed and right away the woman behind the counter was SO rude to me. She treated me like I was stupid, made me wait while she clicked around working on something for a person who was not waiting and had really disgusted facial expressions throughout the conversation. This would have been bad enough, but while I was sitting off to the side, a young guy came in and she was SUPER cheerful and helpful to him. I finished what she had asked me to do, let her know, and her obvious, inappropriate rudeness returned the minute I tried to get her attention. She even rolled her eyes at me! I walked out and will not be going back. I will also be encouraging people I know to take their business elsewhere.

2014-10-21FEDEX customer service is probably the most inconsistent and poor trained/informed staff I have ever encountered. I cant control who retailers use to ship out my packages, so I am stuck with dealing with FEDEX when I need assistance with my shipments. I can get 5 different reps on the phone and get 5 different answers to a concern. They dont even know the correct hours of delivery! Some of them sound so not interested in helping, I have to wonder why they even get up in the morning and drag themselves to work. They suck!
