Expecting a package from FedEx, I dont have the tracking number, tried to call, the automated system wont let you through to a person with a tracking number!!?? But I can walk in and get my package/figure out where it is? I love FedEx but giving 1 star fir no effort from the corporate level to actually help the customers...
I generally am not a fan of Fed Ex. I prefer to work with any other parcel carrier when feasibly possible. When calling their 1-800 number, they tell me the local Fed Ex store of my choosing will automatically be sent & hold packages I receive which are required to have me present for delivery. Then, when I arrive at said location... (This one) they tell me, no. FedEx will not send my packages to this location & notify me that I have a package for pick up. I must instead travel 20 minutes one way out of my way to get home & see I have a door tag on my door just to get back in my car to drive 20 minutes back down south to Auburn Hills to pick it up & drive 20 minutes back north to get back home. When all I needed was a simple phone call to stop in on my way home from Detroit after my work day. Therefore eliminating 40 minutes of drive time.All I could do was collect todays package and leave while biting my tongue.
This FedEx location is EXTREMELY well hidden... I dont think Ive ever made it here on the first try on any occasion I had to go here to drop off or pick up a package.Still, when you do finally find your way here the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. (Maybe because visitors keep getting lost on the way?)
This FedEx is terrible. I once came too close to closing, still present before hours of operation ended. And they shut the door in my face, not before screaming obscenities is at me.Before that they refused to look for a package on hold there because it was past 7:00 and they dont look for drop offs after 7:00 because it would take too long. What!?Everytime Ive gone I am respectful and polite and I am treated like subhuman garbage. Id give zero stars if it were an option.
Chose 2 day shipping paid extra which didnt come on time which thats okay corona is pretty bad but then the next day it just says pending and its sent to another location further away? I run a business and my customers count on me to fix their products on time this isnt acceptable
Package was supposed to be delivered Friday. Online tracking said it was at this facility Thursday morning, thought great, no problem. Friday goes by, nothing. Call Friday night - itll be delivered tomorrow. Saturday - look at online tracking, now says no delivery date available. Call them up - oh, you didnt request Saturday delivery. Oh, Im sorry I didnt know I HAD TO ASK FOR MY STUFF. Okay, fine, well go pick it up.It took - and this is not hyperbole - ONE AND A HALF HOURS to get my package. In this time, I witnessed:- A girl leaving IN TEARS- Employees said I dont know to every single customer- Employee said I dont have the drivers cell phone number so I cant call him. I dont have every drivers cell phone number.- Overheard a man say he paid $15 extra for express shipping and its two days late.- Overheard a woman say she paid $88 for overnight shipping because it was perishable FOOD and its now more than a day late and they dont know where it is - when she asked about a refund she was told to call the 800 number- Multiple people come in, saying they were told by Baldwin their packages were at this location, only to be told they were not, and turned away- A man working to get items for his customers say that this was the second time hed been to that location THAT DAY trying to have them fulfill the terms of their business contract- Multiple people that saw their packages were at that location when they looked online, only to come in and be told their packages had gone out for delivery that morning, and they had better hurry home, because signature was required- I was handed a slip of scrap paper with multiple peoples addresses and phone numbers on it - security concern, when my fiancé pointed that out the woman said well I didnt do that- Employees yelling customers addresses out for everyone to hear - no need for privacy, right-I was asked what the box looked like so they could find it, because thats what tracking numbers are for?Every single employee - and we interacted with five plus the manager - made nothing but excuses and had zero sympathy for what everyone was going through. This was the worst part of it. I understand its Christmas Eve and it sucks and youre busy, but the fact that youre not doing your job isnt MY fault. My presence is just pointing it out to you. If I acted as cold, unempahetic, lazy, and was as excuse-ridden as these people were, I wouldnt HAVE a job. Which is what allowed me to buy something needing to be shipped, which is what keeps them in business. Figure it out. (On that note, I will in the future pay extra for UPS if its available as an option. I also believe they pay and treat their employees better, which I know contributes to this whole disaster. FedEx corporate: step it up.)
I had a package that was placed in a drop box for ground delivery. Initially, there was some confusion whether the drop box was solely for express or for ground as well. I called FedEx customer service and they were very friendly and routed me to the Auburn Hills location. Don from the Auburn Hills location called and updated me with the status of the package for every step of the way. I was very impressed with the customer service.
Worst ever. Package was supposed to be delivered on Thursday - its now Sat and the package has just been sitting there at the Auburn Hills location. When I called last night on Friday I was told that it would be delivered on Sat - however when I tracked the package this morning it now says that there is no scheduled delivery date. Called the 1-800 number and was told that since Sat delivery was not specifically requested (was never told that we had to specifically request Sat delivery - in fact was told the opposite) that it will not be delivered on Sat but at some unknown date in the future. So now my fiancee and I are driving to the Auburn Hills location to pick the package up our selves because the monkeys running the asylum apparently cant do the job that theyre getting paid to do.Shipping packages and doing your job is hard 👊👊👊
The slowest business ever. It takes 15 minutes on average just to wait in line behind one person. If there was a UPS near by I would go there. Im standing here writing this review behind one customer and there are three attendants who refuse to help anyone because they are either morons or only have one working computer....

2022-05-12Lady up front was super nice and helpful. Shipping oil is an absolute nightmare because people think it is hazardous and ITS NOT!! This store actually took the time to help me without showing me the door over something they are uneducated about.

2022-06-22This place is horrible! It’s a wonder how they get anything out. The lady at the counter in this place had no sense of urgency and had a nasty attitude. One lady came out of the back, saw there was a line and wouldn’t step in to help! But they’ll take a persons money and delay your package.

2021-08-28I missed the delivery of a special birthday cake this afternoon (while I was at work), and the app said delivery would be re-attempted on Monday. I was so sad! I called Customer Service, and a sweet gal was able to let me pick it up at this location after 7. The staff at the counter were really kind. Unasked, they went an extra mile to call the delivery driver, who was running behind and might not make the 8pm cutoff. A few minutes before 8, one went back and intercepted the driver as he came in. My boyfriend and I could hear them working frantically in the back warehouse area. Finally, there it was! I thanked them profusely. They wished me a happy birthday, and then closed the counter. What a really WONDERFUL group of people! Thank you guys so much! 😁

2021-07-09Horrible! Every package I receive is dirty and partially opened. I have to wipe it down before I bring it inside the house. Some items that were partially opened have been dirty inside also. I’m not sure if they are throwing stuff around but Fed Ex is the only company I have a problem with. Amazon and UPS are awesome. Have no clue if it’s the driver or the actual Facility but I wish businesses would stop using them…

2021-11-18Calling customer service is completely useless. There is no option to speak to a live agent. The system is set up to just give you a response then hang up. I will never use them again and will go back to UPS. Literally I waste of time.

2019-05-02I wish i could give them 0 STARS! This location is full of lazy people who do not care about their customers. 3 days Ive been patient. They bring my package to my building and immediately mark it undeliverable, rather than bringing it to my apartment. I even agreed the 3rd day to meet the driver down there when they called but they didnt even make the effort to call. Now i have to walk 2 hours to get my package. They have taken 3 days of revenue away from me now. Ive stayed home all day for 3 days to get this package. Youd be better off using another company if youre in this area. THEY DO NOT CARE. And Customer Service did nothing to them. The guy Jeff has no integrity and doesnt follow through on his promises. When I arrived to pick up the package, I found out that the driver refused to deliver the package because she said People stand outside and smoke weed and it looks unsafe. I told the person at the counter thats a lie. Weed is banned from the property. People go outside to smoke cigarettes because they cant smoke inside, furthermore we have security in the building 24/7 and cameras everywhere. USPS and UPS never have a problem delivering to me. She saw a bunch of poor black people outside and assumed the building was unsafe. When I said it was Discriminatory, the guy at the counter says She plays for your same team pal. Racist people here.

2020-10-24Small hiccup with my package location but Mr. Don stayed so positive with me through my frustration! I appreciate him & the drivers for going above & beyond to get my package to me! I was highly satisfied at the end of the day! Thank you to Don & the drivers❤️
