There are reasons why people dislike dealing with car dealerships and I experienced every one of those reasons. I was a pretty easy sale. I knew that I wanted a Genesis and I was willing to go to the dealer who could find the car. First I was offered $6000 less for a trade-in than carvana offered me. No problem, I just went with Carvana. Worked out the details of the lease and was told that I had to come get it today. The sales person did not work tomorrow and if I came on Saturday it would take hours. Not that I wanted to drop what I was doing, but I rearranged my work schedule and texted that I would arrive in one hour. Great, they said. I arrived at my scheduled time and waited over an hour to see finance. I was previously told that everything was ready. Seeing finance meant signing two pieces of paper and handing them a check. Horrible customer service!!!
Took my car to get it fixed, the service adviser was very helpful. Will update more when I get my car back. The work was done fast and service adviser Brian Riley did a great job taking care of my car. I recommend Feldman Hyundai to anyone to come and get your vehicle repaired or serviced, you will not be disappointed. Went back to get an oil change. Great service. Im very happy and I will be back for more.
Brand new Santa Fe, purchased two weeks ago, has been at this dealership for service for the past 8 days due to a transmission error light. No communication, no diagnosis, no bending over backwards from anyone with Hyundai. As new customers to the brand, one would think a sense of urgency and a responsibility to fix this might be a priority. Nope.
Absolutely horrendous customer service and extremely rude (and incapable) staff. I would recommened you stay FAR away from this hellpit. My girlfriend went to get her car repaired here and it took them months to even look at it. Then, it took them several additional months to fix the car. During this stretch of time, the estimator we were working with quit and handed off to a new estimator. By the time we pay the bill and drive off the lot, we come to find out that several of the issues that were supposed to be addressed werent actually fixed. We already paid for the work to be done, so it should be covered under warranty, but we were sent to the back of the line and even when we were given a new appointment date, it wasnt honored. So the issues are still present and well have to pay to fix them all over again. Do yourself a favor, and dont take the risk...
Operating in the classic dirty tricks world of car sales. David fed nothing but the classic dishonest talk. From Yup the car is just getting prepped for sale now While pictures indicated its been on site for 2 weeks. To the up sale of Secuirty etching, wheel protection, paint protection, and interior protection. All being Required. I asked three times before saying goodbye. Only to get the call back 2 minutes later that the manager okayd not requiring those.Very focused on getting me on site. As I can clearlly see that would have netted me into a 3+ hour sit and stew scenario. No thank you. Im amazed there are still dealerships that still operate under this setup, with the internet, and buyers being outside the Drive in mentality.Dont say you have not been warned, there are plenty of other examples on here. I was able to final negoatiate a decent deal, but its flat out not worth it, with that many layers of tactics and games, there were sure to be more when it came time to sign.Genesis or Hyundai ....didnt matter same salesmen. David Wilson is ready to take advantage of you. Plenty of other great dealerships in Michigan to go to for a Hyundai or a Genesis.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. OPT FOR GENESIS OF DEARBORN. These guys will tell you they don’t charge mark up, only to have you drive an hour and then show vehicle pricing with mark up. Again, avoid them. Hyundai will do their job to penalize this dealership soon enough. Don’t let them disrespect your pockets.
Dustin gave us 5 star service from start to finish. I stopped at the dealership in waterford to see if they had the car I was looking at online in inventory. Turns out it was at the New Hudson location. Theu were gonna send it so I could check it out but I really didnt want to wait. So i took the drive....and....Im so happy i did. I got this unicorn of a car. She only had 1800 miles on it and was a year old. And basically after trade in I only had to write a tiny check to pay it off. I was impressed at the amout they came down to make me comfortable with purchasing this vehicle. And Im in love with this crossover!! So go see Dustin and he will take great care of you all!!!
I took my newly purchased Hyundai to this location because I was having issues with it not starting 100% of the time. The service wouldnt look for an easy fix or run any tests to try and assist me. They asked if I was prepared to leave my vehicle for 2+ weeks before they could schedule me in to look at it. I was disappointed and didnt understand why they couldnt assist me knowing these are the vehicles they sell and service to give me some peace of mind. No good customer service whatsoever after spending thousands on one of their vehicles. Its sad 😢
David and Brittany were top notch in helping me find a vehicle that would meet my needs. From the initial online communication to coming into the showroom twice, the experience was flawless and easy. Communication between David was a breeze and made getting the right deal for me so easy.I will be recommending Feldman Hyundai to anyone who Is looking for a new car.
I had a service appointment scheduled now for 3 weeks. When I took my vehicle in this morning at 8am the service tech met me at my car and was extremely pleasant. I asked him if when my car was being diagnosed they could also look at my tpm light which was now on. He then went on to tell me that they had a service tech call in so he wasn’t sure that was going to be possible but let him speak to his manager. The manager walked in and the service tech informed the manger I was here and what I was now asking them to do. The manager informed me that in order for them to look at my car I would have to drop off the vehicle because he was not sure it would even be looked at today. Being a single working mother, this isn’t possible. I need to be able to work and get my daughter to and from school. What in the world? Super frustrating, when I made my appointment I specifically asked if the car would be looked at and diagnosed in the same day. I was reassured this would be the case. I believe in the future communication with your customers would be vital. I get it, less work for you but much more of an inconvenience for customers. I’ve learned since recently moving from Colorado to Michigan, customer service is less than par. Lesson learned though, my business will stay far away from this dealership.
False advertising at best. They sent me an offer in the mail to buy a car from me that I had bought at their dealership. The two year old car had only 6,200 miles on it. They proceeded to offer me $4,100 less than the direct Mail offer they had sent me. Don’t be fooled by their advertisements!! Sales manager made no effort to explain and just left salesperson out there struggling to explain why they aren’t really offers at all.
This dealership does not provide accurate information when responding to electronic inquiries. I was told by 3 people who responded to my inquiry that a specific vehicle was available - made arrangements to purchase it and designated a time that I would be there to purchase. Was then informed that the vehicle had been sold prior to those 3 people confirming that they had it. Yet all 3 tried to get me to come in a for a test drive. The goal is to get you in the door - not provide accurate information.Tread cautiously if making decisions based on information you are provided online from this dealer.
Had the worst experience here of all the car dealerships Ive been to. The manager made us wait for over an hour saying that the car we requested for was available, only to come back and say that it was at a different location. Inspite of having an excellent credit score she then went on to tell me that banks would not want to lease cars to me because I was on a visa, which was a first and was pushy on buying the car with cash instead. Very unprofessional behavior and definitely not the place to go to especially if youre on a visa.
My 76 year old mother woke up to a dead battery in her new Hyundai today. I told her to call roadside and get it jumped then take it to the dealer and she did. When she got to the dealer a service writer told her that they couldnt look at her car until October 18 and was also told the same thing by the manager. Very poor business decision. Ive worked at a dealership for over 23 years now and we always make time to get a client in especially if its a new car with a starting concern. We inform them that they may have to wait 2 or 3 hours but well get them in. Absolutely no way to run a business and wouldnt recommend this place to help anybody especially if they cant help a senior citizen.
Dealer took advantage of me not being present during purchase/signing for out new Genesis Gv70. Kept my pregnant wife in the store for as long as possible (even into the next day) until she was impatient enough to blindly sign in my place while I was at work. Found out later that they had tacked on 2 pointless Poly and Etch fees for $900 per. Our mistake sure for overlooking it, but the lengths they go to in order to profit a rediculous sum of money is discusting. Its also next to impossible to schedule any services with this dealer because they dont answer phones. They are also roughly an hour away from where I live. They represent a luxury brand now; genesis. With such poor service, this is unbecoming of the brand. They dont even response to these comments. They just dont care.
The experience was a step up from excellent. Our salesman ( Lance ) was superb. His ability to answer any and all questions made this a very easy experience. He introduced us to the other staff to include the manager and service persons. He made sure that the closer was a person who actually understood our needs and that made every thing close very quickly and easily. We were presented with a spanking new clean Tucson. (Lance) made sure that the vehicle was full of fuel and he went over all of our questions about the interior set up even though it was a cold nasty day. I will recommend this dealership and especially our salesman ( Lance ) to any one who tells me that they are going to look for a new vehicle.. Lance thank you sir. Larry and Theresa.
This is my second visit to this location. I serviced my new Hyundai today and the service team didnt meet up to my goals. They tried to blame the dealer where I bought my vehicle for not explaining how the service plan works. ( Im certain its their job too)Long story short I called Hyundai customer care and they said I should bring my owners manual in and complain to the Feldman group. The way I see it, instead of buying my next car here and dealing with this location, I should go to Southfield and visit the Glassman store instead.Long story short. Poor service here = no sales for them later! AND no service for them after this!!
Absolutely the worst experience Ive had. Went there originally looking at a Genesis GV80, ended up interested in the Palisade instead. Salesman was hard seller using the typical techniques youd find in an 80s car lot. Severely lowballed me on my trade-in, tried to get my wife to sign contract without going over all the charges. Said he didnt know how to use my banks pre-approval (after the finance lady said they worked with my bank all the time and would take care of everything) and insisted I apply for financing through them/Hyundai. After about 15 excruciating minutes of watching him hunt and peck entering my information in to get financing, he says I really wish you guys would have done this last night - after I had already told him I had tried last night, and this morning, but the website wasnt letting me move forward. Ended up getting our keys out and walking out, after salesman told me we were acting rash and overreacting... Horrible.
Attempted to get my Genesis serviced here. They first told me 2 weeks for an appointment. 2 days before the appointment, they told me that they needed to reschedule and will call me back with another date. After another week goes by and no return phone call. Ive left several messages but no one has yet to call me back. i got to experience firsthand the poor Genesis service experience and this dealership is doing a great job from ever considering a hyundai/genesis product ever again.Update: During a seperate oil change visit, I told the Feldman rep about the lack of power and strange noise with my Genesis. After 3 hours, they said they did a full inspection and found nothing wrong. Well, I just came back from a different service center and 10 minutes in, they immediately identified a missing connection to the turbo. In addition to having poor customer service, the techs at Feldman are really bad at their jobs.
My car stalled and was brought to a dealership service center in Southfield. The car sat there for a month and nothing was done! I had the car towed over to Feldman, and got a loaner car after a week. They found out the car engine failed, the engine was replaced under warranty. I got my car back after 2 weeks! Very happy with the service! Thanks to Lavon and Chris!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS1Had an agreed upon price over phone. The initial paperwork had the correct price, interest rate, loan duration, etc.HOWEVER, the monthly payment was increased by $15 with absolutely no supporting documentation. If I hadnt calculate the payment in advance, I would not have noticed. KNOW WHAT YOUR PAYMENT IS PRIOR TO SIGNING ANY DOCUMENTS AT THIS DEALERSHIP.When challenged, they had a lame excuse about it being a program being dealers choice. They wasted three hours of my time.
Absolutely wonderful service staff! The Turbo in my Hyundai went completely kaput, no power to the engine at all. They got my car into service the very next day. The service manager Lavon was professional and very helpful at explaining what was wrong with my car. He emailed me with an extremely detailed explanation of each issue. What I liked is that I could “opt in” or “opt out” of the services on the list that were not crucial to getting my Turbo fixed. I also appreciated the actual pictures of MY vehicle with each issue listed on the email. For example, I knew I needed a new air filter and had actually just checked it before I took it into the dealership, in my explanation email the photo they sent was of my actual air filter(dead bugs and debris included!). That made me feel 1000% comfortable with the repairs that they were going to do. When I picked up my car it was ready, no waiting around, no BS. I will absolutely be returning to Feldman Hyundai for the purchase of my next car or any other service my current vehicle needs!
Excellent service! I was so frustrated shopping for a new car. I had been to 2 other dealers and either they couldnt get my payments at the amount I needed or the car I saw online was sold.... I saw a Sante Fe online, within minutes got a phone call and the next day was in my new vehicle WITH the amount I asked to be at. They even helped with transportation.Edit. I usually wait for a couple months before I give reviews and this is exactly why. Within 2 weeks of purchasing the vehicle the backup camera went out. I called to see if it was covered under warranty and they couldnt tell me that because it depends on what is causing it to not work, because according to him they checked it-I informed him that the Navigation system was our when I got it.......anyways it would cost $145 to diagnose the car and I would have to drop it off........he said he had to check and see if out shuttle would take me that far to my home......keep in mind it wasnt too far to pick me up to buy the car.If you are looking for a used car and want to go to a dealer that will stand behind their vehicles, dont go to Feldman Hyundai.........Second Edit: Still trying to get ahold of my salesperson- Haley- still being ignored. I did manage to get a one sentence email back telling me to have it looked at by the service department-ignoring the actual issues in the email.....Either A. Haley is in over her head and unable to multitask or B. She is clearly only concerned with getting the sale....I would go elsewhere. No one deserves to be treated the way these people make me feel.
The Car - The new line of Genesis cars is absolutely stunning. What Genesis offers as a package in terms of features, performance, styling, price, and warranty is just about unheard of in the car world. If youre shopping in this segment, do yourself justice, and check out a Genesis. The Dealership - Everyone at the dealership was welcoming and friendly. Everything was well keep up with and all COVID-19 safety precautions were taken. They had a great variety of Genesis vehicles in stock at the time I bought mine. The dealership had my Genesis detailed and all ready to go when I went to pick it up.The Salesperson - Lance is a good guy, and was very helpful through this process. I bought this car from out-of-state, and I was provided with all of the info for taxes in MI along with taxes in my state, so there was no surprises later on. He has checked up a few times with me on after I bought the car to see how I liked it and make sure its perfect. After driving a couple thousand miles, I can attest that its just about perfect.
These people will try anything to get you to buy a car . They sold me a vehicle that was supposed to be CPO and I found out last month it isnt. The car was purchased 2 months ago . Its ridiculous that I have been trying to get the dealership manager to call me back and they have not. I have called around 11 times already, they are avoiding me which is so unprofessional . Luckily this could be taken care of by a lawsuit so lets see what my lawyer says .
Extremely deceiving and dishonest behavior from this dealership. Stay away from Lance- I specifically contacted him multiple times prior to heading to New Hudson and he confirmed the price several times to me. Over the phone, I mentioned to him that the dealership was over a one hour drive for me and that if the price he was giving me was not accurate, I would not head out there. after being reassured of this, at the dealership he gave us a much higher price and we were met with poor service. Don’t come here unless you want to waste your time.
I has a great experience working with Dustin and Haley in the sales department. I was a little nervous going in because it was my first time buying a car for myself. I did all of my research and knew what price I wanted to pay for the g70. Dustin and Haley tried their best to track down the interior/exterior color combination I wanted with the packages I wanted as well. We were so close to getting it but it turned out to be a demo vehicle with a few thousand miles on it and I only wanted to buy new.I had heard horror stories of the typical shady stealership experience and was glad that was not the case here. Dustin and Haley were polite and tried their best to meet my budget. In the end I left paying a little more than I had wanted out the door but had such a good experience here that I would highly recommend working with dustin and Haley. I felt they were as honest and upfront as sales people could be and did not feel pressured into anything else.I went in knowing that making deals is a long process and when I committed to buying they helped me get everything done as quickly as they could (as I had to go to work at a specific time). The detailing of my car could have been better but I did come in with a time deadline and am glad they were able to clean it at all and had a full tank of gas in it when I left.Edit: had to remove a star because the after purchase support is not great. I never got information about when my payments will be starting. I emailed them to make sure everything was set but never got a response back. I ended up calling the financial company they got my loan through and it turns out they entered my address in wrong. Could have been more costly if I had waited any longer. Purchasing was a nice experience but follow up needs a little work. I will update again when I bring my car in for service.
Bought a Hyundai Kona two years ago. Love the car, thinking about upgrading to a newer Santa Fe. Called Hyundai Sale Manager two days ago suggesting I was interested in a Santa Fe. No call back. Interesting way to run a business. Take a satisfied customer....and treat him like an annoyance. Clearly going elsewhere for my new Santa Fe.
Terrible customer service. I wanted to lease a car and was told I was eligible for it after running credit information a few times and waiting there for over 2 hours, I was told b/c me and my husband have different address listed on our marriage license because we did not live with each other before we applied. I could not qualify for the lease I had to purchase. The sales manager did not want to work with us or offer a deal. They were not busy at all I felt as if I was a bother to the sales rep and to the sales manager. I went to the Southfield location and was helped immediately and they worked out a deal for me. Avoid this place, they will not work for you or try to negotiate any deals with the bank. Sales manager just sits in the office and will not speak with you directly disrespectful and lazy. I was approved at the other location no with no major issues. They informed me that this location did not try to get my information waived with the bank becuase I do have a good credit score. This location does not want business right now apparently and other locations will fight harder for you. Sat for so many hours and wasn’t told until closing time that my address was an issue. I recommend going to a different place as they were a lot more helpful and professional at the Southfield location.
Shame I cant give this place zero stars. The worst car buying experience I have ever had, from beginning to end. Incorrect numbers- both on price and mileage on the vehicle. Downright NASTY salesman. MULTIPLE errors and, corrections. I said nasty salesman, right? Yeah- well, not coming here again. Does anyone at this dealership even care at all???!
If you’re considering buying here, think twice. It’s not worth the irritation and disappointment.I love my car - couldnt be happier with the Genesis G70 I bought. However, my experience with the salesman and overall responsiveness of the dealership has led me to not only regret buying from Feldman, but I cant and wont refer anyone to buy from here unless they enjoy being let down.I bought my car on July 31st, and was pleased with the overall experience on Day 1. However, I told my sales rep that I was leaving on vacation in a few days, and was counting on having my vehicle (which he had to acquire) before I left. He told me twice that Id have it in time. Two days later, I reached out to inquire on the status of the vehicle, since Id heard nothing since the night I bought the car. Ultimately, he stated that because they acquired it late and he wouldnt have drivers that day or the next, I wouldnt get it before my vacation. Mind you, the car was located about 50 minutes away from the dealership, so its not like they had to go on a road trip to get it from the other side of Detroit.Nine days later, Id received no notification or confirmation that they had my car. Coming back from vacation, I decided to call in, and finally found out that it was there and ready. When I went in to pick it up, I inquired about the missed deadline and requested to have my first payment pro--rated to my pickup date, as they missed the deadline that my sales rep set twice when I bought the vehicle (also, since they never even called to tell me it was there). I was then told that it was my fault I got the car late because I went on vacation, and that it wasnt their fault because they couldnt acquire the car on time from the other dealer. After about two minutes of arguing, the sales rep stated that hed talk to his sales manager to see about reparations. Its since been 10 days, and I havent been contacted by him once to follow up. My sales rep has kept dropping the ball, and its become clear to me that Feldman only valued my business up until I signed for my vehicle. If youre looking to be wowed, dont go here. Go somewhere that values the satisfaction of their customers.
I lease my car in January of 2020 they put me in it and right away I had to drive it into the service department because the low tire pressure light was on they filled the tire the light finally went off. For five months I continually put air in the left rear tire I took it in to just have it checked and they said there was nothing wrong. Took it back 11 months later Come to find out they checked the wrong tire this time they found a little teeny nail in the sidewall of the tire that was leaking, They wanted to charge me for a new tire after a heated discussion they finally decided to put a new tire on at no charge. The sales manager took me into her office and told me they are not excepting any way shape or form that it was their fault but they will put a tire on it for me then she proceeded to tell me in so many words that I was no longer welcome in their dealership well GuessWhat I’ll travel 50 miles before I go to that dealership again.
I have left two voicemails with the service manager, Emily over the past week and she never returned my calls. I called 7 days after my first initial call and tried sales. I asked to be put through to someone to schedule a service. The woman just took a message.I called again today, finally got through to service. They took a message and said someone would call me back. Well, some man DID call back. Then said he couldnt hear me, said he would call back, and hung up. He never called back.Is this a ****ing joke?
Long story short, so Ill skip to the worst part....cross shopping Hyundai for the first time. Sitting in the vehicle checking it out for a few minutes. Sales guy asks how serious we are about buying this exact vehicle. I told we werent because we wanted a different color. He told us to get out because it is already sold to someone else who drove it earlier and came back. He walked away and ignored us. We wont be back.
Superb and outstanding Customer Service. The Service center team went above and beyond to support me. They were kind and very welcoming even through a pandemic. They went above and behind to make sure that my car needs were met. Lavon and the other service team members are my superheros! I am forever grateful for Feldman Hyundai of New Hudson!
We purchased a 2019 Tucson back in June. We saw this dealer had some great reviews so we drove 40 minutes out of our way to check them out. When we walked in for our appointment, we were not greeted at all. We decided to look in the showroom first to see if anyone would approach us and about 45 minutes of just standing there finally a younger woman came up to us.After test driving and falling in love with the car, we finally talked with a salesman. He kept disappearing for long periods of time and there were times when he was very unclear and abrupt. We ended up being there for a total of 5 hours that day. We did leave with the car that day, but that was way longer than planned. We were there two weeks later to finalize everything and were there for another hour and a half. They make promises and do not follow through. Make sure you get agreements in writing!Lastly, my car was NEVER detailed.. I still have sticker residue from the window sticker and from stickers on the windshield. There were boxes and plastic bags in the trunk. Also, I was never given a tutorial on how all of the features on my car works. I did not have assistance with connecting my phone or anything. I have relied on the internet to help me with the technical stuff.I emailed and called the general manager. I wanted to give them time to respond back. I emailed him June 25th and never heard anything back.
We recently purchased the 2020 Venue for our daughter. She was unsure of exactly what car she wanted and wanted to keep looking and be sure this was the right fit. Our salesman was Jim Scane. He was the best salesman I have ever worked with. He did not pressure us, there were no high pressure sales tactics. He was genuine and took his time and didn’t rush us. It was refreshing not feeling like your were being forced, pressured and scammed. There was some confusion about maintenance and Jim was willing to make it right. We will definitely return to see Jim in the future. Salesmen could really take a lesson from him and drop the forceful high pressure act and be real. Jim was a pleasure.
Had the best experience buying my previously owned Saturn from them! But the sales person I had this time really said everything he could to make me come in. Hell pay off my loan with my trade in and get me into a new car. He said he would work something out with 1000 down and 350 car payment for me. Then after two weeks of back a driving back (40 minutes) and forth I was offered nothing that he said! I wont go back! Wasted my time and he doesnt care!
I love my dealership and the service they provide for me. Took me in for service immediately & offered a rental car so I can get back to work. Used some coupons that saved me money. Even though they charge more than a mechanic or service station, I would continue to bring my car back as I get really great service and I know whatever they do to my car, its done right!!!Lavon the Service Advisor was extremely helpful!!
Why do I keep going back? I like the service guy. I think the service has been okay...though Im naturally suspicious. My BIG complaint is that I can never get ahold of anyone. I always get two options; If youd like to transfer to a fax machine press 1. To leave a message stay on the line. Transfer to a fax machine...huh? So, Im somewhat generously giving a 4 star. Service seems ok, the service guy, Lavon is good. Ability to connect is very frustrating
I got a coupon in the mail for oil change and tire rotation for this dealership and decided to give it a go considering the great deal. Please understand, I was a little nervous as I did not wish for high pressure sales of services for my car.Ben Anderson was my Service Representative for this visit. He was super efficient at getting my car into the shop and accurate in the estimation of timing for the oil change/tire rotation. I had a bite to eat at the McDonalds next to the dealership while I waited. When my car was ready Ben called me and asked about a few items which needed attention. My wiper blades were not in good order, something I had forgotten since the last rainfall. The price quoted was consistent with my past wiper blade purchase, and they installed for free. Awesome. Another part of my car needed attention. It was something I did not wish to get completed at that time. Ben was excellent at presenting the issues but not putting the high pressure for doing the work now. He wrote up the prices of the suggestions and allowed me to take them home and thinks about them.My interactions with dealerships in the past have left me feeling terrible as their tactics had little to be desired. Ben had an excellent way if he wished for people to come back in the future or recommend their service department. Thanks very much and I will be back.
I have had the pleasure of purchasing a car through Noah Gibson at Hyundai New Hudson. While Noah is fairly new to the job, he displayed excellent customer service and was courteous, respectful and obliging throughout our transaction. He followed up with me regularly, but was never persistent or invading as some car sales people can be. When my time to purchase a new car comes around again, if Hyundai is a consideration, I would certainly want to have Noah sell me a car - he has changed my perception of car sales people. Hyundai Feldman, this guy is definitely a keeper! Great job Noah!
Without a doubt, the best car buying experience Ive ever had. They followed through with everything they said they were going to do for me and it didnt take 5 hours to buy our Tucson. Ask for Steven Laplante, that guy knows how to listen to what you are looking for. He was not aggressive, he listened to what we needed for our family, he knew his inventory, he went over all the options and showed us the all of the benefits for buying a Hyundai. Do yourself a favor, go and ask for Steven, tell him Nate sent you.
I had a great experience with this dealership. I was looking for Hyundai Tucson 2018 for almost a month and finally I found my perfect car here. Kyle Ross is a good sales consultant. He helped me through all paperwork very well as well as he matched the price of the car which I got from other dealership. Overall I will recommend other to visit this dealership before buying their dream car.
Had the unfortunate experience of speaking to David yesterday- after explaining that I live an hour and a half one way from the dealership (and have two vehicles to bring in ) and would like some answers over the phone he was extremely rude got loud and talked over me - insisting that my husband should take a day off work . . We are in a pandemic in 2021 and you’re going to tell me that the information you need to give me the answers I need cannot possibly done via email / phone? ... it HAS to be done face to face? and that I need my husband with me? HA! I’m a little stressed about the situation so I gave him the benefit of the doubt when he said he would speak to manager and call me back - but he did not ! This is their tactic to get you in the building to waste your time the woman I spoke with last year did the same exact thing!
From my salesperson, Lance Ebey to the Service Manager Lavon Poll, they are always warm and friendly, and I am treated with respect. Its always easy to schedule an appointment for service and my car is serviced within the time frame Im told the car would be ready. I will always return to this dealership and their service department.
I went into the dealership not really expecting much. I had more or less written Hyundai off after a horrible experience at Fox Hyundai in Ann Arbor, but I wanted to test drive for due diligence. Came inside and Lauren immediately greeted me and offered to help. She was very patient and compared to the high pressure manipulation of so many other salespeople Id meet in the hunt for a new car, she was actually fun to work with! She took me out on a test drive and had a great time. Purchased my car there and I dont regret it.
This dealer is very aggressive. If you want to test drive a car, they will call you multiple times a day and email you the same # of times. I was very unlucky to buy a car from here, I found out I paid way more than I needed.. but was my fault.Their service center is a lot worse. Expect 2 hours if you are waiting for your service. My wife went to get an oil change and just put the winter tires on last weekend (We had an almost brand new set of winter tires/wheels) They charged us over $100. Found out that they RECOMMENDED a tire rotation/balance which I never asked. FOR AN ALMOST NEW TIRE/WHEEL SET?? and that was 60 dollars!..We have gone to Feldman Kia in Novi last 3 years for almost all the maintenance services and never had any issues like this. We went to this location since my wife wanted test drive a car. and yes we confirmed that we will never go to this dealer either to buy a car or get a service done. Interesting to hear when they say they were not trying to take advantage of her.
This is the worst place to buy a car. People are extremely rude, Manipulative and offensive. I felt like they treat people based on their appearance. They denied me for taking a car for the test drive. Im not sure if my racial identity has anything to do with it.I suggest not to buy a car here, unless you dont have anywhere else to go. In that case Make sure to quote a price 5k - 7k lesser than what they offer. They hike up the prices drastically. Whatever price they offer will not be the same for the next day, they say its an error made by their sales people.I had a horrible experience over here and im not going to encourage any of my friends to even walk into this dealership.
I dont trust my Hyundai to anyone but Lavons crew at Feldman Hyundai of New Hudson. Theyre always so accommodating and helpful. Im very busy and they are so mindful of a working moms hectic schedule. Not only that, but they get the job done properly the first time. I never have to worry that Ill need to take it back after the job is complete. I know my vehicle will be handled appropriately, professionally, and reliably - every time.
Customer service at Fieldman Hyundai is terrible. It was my first and last time coming here. I had oil change appointment and was asked to leave the building sitting by my self in empty waiting area because I have astma and cant wear their syntetic mask. To make story worst the service agent even didnt talk to me about my car after service was done. He forgot to print report, gave me report and said everything is ok.I had oil change in Fox Ann Arbor for many years and recently moved to New Hudson. Fox Hyundai Ann Arbor is rolling red carpet to each customer with going over your car points, reviewing your experience and following up. Feldman is last place on earth to have service on your vehicle done.
I just wanted to alert people to issues with this dealer. I was in the market for a used car and had called these folks up to confirm the availability of a particular car I was interested in and negotiate on prices over the phone. The first time I called the listed 1-800 number, someone hung up on me. The second time I called the same number, I was on hold for about 5 minutes before the receptionist came back and connected me with a sales person. I spoke with him and we agreed to a certain dollar figure for the net price of the car. 45 minutes later when I finally managed to get to the dealership, I had a chance to meet a salesman and then test drive the car I was interested in. After my test drive when I am finally about to close the deal, the guy who has been handling my case (and different from the guy I spoke with on the phone) says that let me confirm that we can get you the prices WE PROMISED TO YOU OVER THE PHONE! 15 minutes later after lots of conversations between the sales manager and the salesmen who were handling my case, the guys come back and tell me that they cannot meet the price that they had promised me 1 hour back. I had a 30 minute session with the manager and he offered reasons as to why he could not sell me the car that his salesman had quoted. I walked out of the dealership mad not only at not having bought a car but having been the victim of a bait-and-switch procedure whereby I was just promised something to get me into the showroom and then use that as an opportunity to arm-twist me. No wonder used car salesmen get a bad slap on the wrist. I would recommend that anyone dealing with these folks be very very cautious and get to put everything down in writing if possible.
Thanks to Lavon for getting me in for an emergency appointment and repair that was needed. I was able to get scheduled in an hour later after calling. This was very important especially during this COVID-19 Pandemic.I would like to see a discount for essential and first responders as well from all dealerships.
It is nice they have some fruit to eat along with coffee and water and a t.v. Waiting seats are comfortable with nice area to write on stuffed chairs or at a table. However, it has been too cold and make sure I bring a sweater. The service done on my car and costs were explained well. Friendly and polite service Technician.
As other people have posted, this dealership doesnt seem to care about calling customers. I called them multiple times a day, almost every day, for about 2-3 weeks to ask a question about service to be done to my vehicle and no one answered. On the rare chance someone did answer, they transferred my call to a different department, the phone rang twice, and I was sent to voicemail.I called another Hyundai dealership in the Metro-Detroit area only one time on one day and had my question answered in less than 5 minutes, so Im not sure why the same couldnt happen at this dealership.Seriously, it shouldnt be this difficult to answer the phone and have a ~5 minute phone call with a customer who is trying to give you their money.
Drove 3 plus hours across the state to look at a car. Dealer would not budge on the price, not even $50. Car didnt have floor mats or a second key. Floor mats wasnt an issue because we had some from a previous car bit we needed a second key. The dealer said the car just came in and they didnt have the second key yet but would mail it to us when it came in, weeks later no key. Contacted the dealer just to be told their was no second key and if we wanted one to come in on Fridays at 10 am to get one made, 3 plus hours for a key. Not to mention the car broke down in less than 24 hours of owning it! I know the car was as is but to be told there was a second key and to be left hanging, sucks.
Stay away from collision department! Worst experience I had ever for an service.A one week easy to fix job, they estimated to be done in three 3 weeks due the holidays season. Ive been do it the worst choice of my life accepting that instead to go thru Progressive collision center network as my insurance recommended.Ive tried to stay with my dealership, car was bought and maintained at this location, thinking they have Hyundai certified mechanics.Im a driver and Im using the car for living wich i told them, having the promise car will be ready in three weeks.Unfortunately they wasnt able to fix a rear bumper and trunk lid in 7seven and half weeks. Every week they come with different excuses, for not being done. My costs for not having a car for 2 months, paying insurance, blue link subscription, registration, lose of income, have been tremendous. My car was dropped on December 14 2017 and insurance payd all the bills for repairs on 8 January 2018. When I finally couldnt bear to wait and leasant to their lies on February 2nd 2018 I went to pickup my car and trying to go at a different shop, car wasnt ready they told me to come back in two hours when will be cleaned up. They call me after 6 hours when was closing time, having me to inspect the repairs outdoor in heavy winter weather and on the dark..They overcharged my insurance with different parts like tail lights, wich had no issues. When I asked to bring my tail lights to show me what was wrong with them, they bought a pair of damaged tail lights with cracks wich my car never had when it was dropped at the shop. Ive asked them if those are my tail lights, then my car has been involved in an accident there at collision center.Ive ended paying over 5.000$ and waiting for almost 2 months. They never offer me a car on the extended period of repairs, stating they dont have one available. Ive needed to commute using ridshare companys for a 2 months period wich is costly.Overall, stay away of that Collison facility if you dont wanna waist your time and money. At my complains the shop manager said he is new there and he doesnt know anything about, Mike the contact guy was hiding and wasnt present when I picked up my car.
This was really terrible. For one, I came in to test drive a Hyundai because I received a promotional $40 gift card for doing so. I arrive, mention the deal, test drive a Hyundai Santa Fe, and then sit for the obligatory sales pitch. But then I got stared at like, Whats a promotional test drive? And after another 15 minutes I finally got them to enter it into their system. The saleslady asked when a good time to call would be. I said Id speak with my wife. Three over the next day, I got calls. Calls continued. When I asked where my gift card was, they asked for a picture of the add for proof (what did I give it to them for when I was there, then?!). Finally, the calls stopped after I said I would never buy from a shady bait-and-switch company. And I have never received that gift card.I cant do business with a company like that. How can I ever expect a warranty to be honored, if they cant even honor a meager promo?Really sad. And I was disappointed with my test drive, anyway. Id be interested in an Ioniq, but it wasnt available for test drive, and I wont be back, anyway.
From the moment I walked n I was greeted by two different people who bent over backwards to make me feel at ease ! The experience was so quick and easy they treated me with such kindness and efficiency. I have never felt so comfortable buying a car . I will always buy my cars with them .
I work here. It is one of the best Dealerships i have ever been around. The team of professionals that surround this place. Is absolutely top tier. No matter what the scenario might be they go to bat 100 percent the customer. I love working there for that reason amongst many others.
I leased a 2017 Hyundai Sante Fe and the sales person stated there was no return fee. The underwriter then noted there was one of $400 and I pointed out the discrepancy. The underwriter went to the sales manager who offered a $200 service credit to resolve the issue. I accepted. At the first service occurrence I was told there was no record of the service credit. The sales manager was new and pretty much accused me of being a liar. The service credit was denied in the rudest possible manner. Follow up letter to the PR person at the dealership was not answered. Pretty tacky all the way around. No more Feldman.
Dustin was nice and helpful. He was very patient guy and tried to answer each and every possible question. But I had bad experience with sales manager. I could have given 5 stars but sales manager, Chris was dishonest and not a genuine person in terms of business. He changed his tone (definitely in negative sense) after deal was done. He showed attitude like he was doing some sort of favor by selling car to customer.I would recommend this place to friends but would like to get the deal done with a manager who respects his customers and stays honest.
I had been to a few different dealers that promised me that could me that car I wanted at a decent price, and didnt! I was very hesitant when I came to Eli and Charles looking for a car but he insisted that he would get it done. Nonetheless, he did! It was a very easy process and they kept in touch with me during the whole process. I would recommend my family and friends to him without a doubt!
I had contact with four Hyundai dealerships. Glassman appeared to be mostly a Subaru dealer with their Hyundais outside against a chain-link fence. No my kind of dealer. Somerset was a dim, bleak looking showroom and no one anxious to help. I talked to the Livonia dealer, but chose to work with Preston at New Hudson. Very sharp, great guy to work with. I had a month-long process to get into my car as we were also buying a house at the same time. He was patient and kept in touch just the right amount. He worked almost a week to locate and acquire the exact Tucson I wanted and I love the vehicle. Very good experience all around.
I went in and had the pleasure of working with Haley ( hope I spelled her name right ) and I have to say she was not only a pleasure to speak with but when she did talk she made it feel so comfortable to be there. If you’re looking for a place to shop some amazing cars with equally matched service then look no further!
Love my car, however have had a terrible time with the service from this branch. Three of my four tires had huge bubbles on them within the first 8 months of owning my new car. I was told by the service department there (New Hudson) that there was nothing they could do and it cost me over $700 for new tires. I called 3 times to talk to the manager that sold me the car and he never returned by phone calls. The Hyundai company reimbursed me for half of them after I put a complaint on a questionnaire that they had posted on facebook. My most recent experience with them was a recall on the sun roof. I was told that they would give me a rental car so I wouldnt have to sit there. When I went to set up my appointment that was not the case. I asked them to check several things on the car before the warranty was out as well as some regular maintenance items as well. Everything was set to go, I agreed to sit and wait. I then get an email the next day (the day before my appointment) that they changed the time and date of my appointment. They didnt have the courtesy to call me to see if I could even make the time, let alone whether or not I had received the email. I live an hour away, I called and left a message but of course they never returned my call.
The salesperson we talked first brought us an incredible, truly, price to cut off all the other dealers at once. On my second visit for finalizing, now here comes the usual strategy, oh we mustve had a mistake on this and here is new price we can do to earn your business. Even after I showed them manager-proved deals from two other places, both the salesperson and her manager did not even try to acknowledge how it got messy like this even though the first price sheet she showed was a verbally approved one by her manager even after I asked to confirm whether it was ever possible regarding all current deals, promotions, Edmunds info, and MSRP. Story ends by us purchasing a vehicle in northern Indiana and financial benefit was worth enough to make a 5-hour trip with a visit to one local brewery ($500 off from $28600 car, worth it at least for me) & taking two friends of mine to other places for their new Genesis and Hyundai purchases.+One gentleman in his fedora intervened into my conversation with my salesperson 3 times without consent and did it leave no options other than asking him to stop (equivalent to politely saying shut up).+At least, inside the dealership is clean. One star.+They have a savvy display of genesis G70 in their showroom. Another star.
They will sell the cars at a fair price but customer service is horrible. We’re not ready at scheduled appointment times and we requested they call us when touch up paint was delivered so we could come pick up and they acted like they had no idea we asked/ wouldn’t do that.
Alex was very quick to rush me into trying to buy a car, when I had already told him I was looking for SUVs. He then criticized me about my current car and how much I pay for insurance. I was simply trying to look around at vehicles, and he was very unavailing. They were quick to get me out of the store once they realized I was only looking around.
I initially chose Liberty Hyundai because of the closeness of the dealership to my home. I had checked out numerous other dealers in the southeast Michigan area from Ann Arbor to Flint. What struck me most about Liberty was the friendliness shown to me, as a customer. I asked for a certain color in a new Sante Fe Sport. There were none in their inventory and they had to surf the web to locate one from another dealer. The sales staff and the manager really had no luck in doing so. After talking with them, we decided to order a new vehicle from the assembly plant. With all the bad weather it did take longer to arrive than I was initially told. The dealership, wanting to work with me, did go out of their way to make everything right. The signing of the deal was done in a matter of time whereas I did receive the bonus provided by Hyundai. I did have a 2011 Sante Fe which I traded in on the 2014. The main reason that I am staying with Hyundai as well as Liberty is the service department which I consider to be one of the best. The sales manager went into great detail about the state of Hyundai Motors and did, sincerely, promise me that he would stand behind his product and will make sure that my needs, as a Hyundai repeat owner will be addressed and taken care of. Hyundai has a great line of vehicles and I do let my friends and neighbors know that.
We recently traded in both of our cars and leased two new cars from Feldman Hyundai. Our Salesperson was Jamie Proffer and he was extremely helpful. He went out of his way to locate the exact cars we were looking for, great customer service and excellent follow up. I would highly recommend working with Jamie for your next Purchase.Kelly.
Well, what is there to say, really? I checked the online reviews for this place and they all seem to be written by the same person. Obviously fake-trying-to-not-look-fake reviews aside, I decided to go take a look at a new Elantra because Ive noticed new car prices are pretty competitive at the moment and Im in the market sometime this year. The service we got was, uh, condescending. The sales rep, Robert, proceeded to insinuate my brother was gay because he buys kias and, according to him, their main market was women. I brushed it off as a cheap sales trick to bring my sexual identity into question, but it was pretty inappropriate nonetheless. We didnt want to pay their top of the market pricing, so he told us maybe Ill see you back when your numbers come in, insinuating that, because we werent dealing with him, we must not be able to secure financing and that our best bet was apparently winning the lottery.Little did he know that we already had a check in hand from our bank.He mocked us more than once because I told him we werent desperate to buy because my original plan was to wait until after Christmas, which is a well known fact is the best time to buy a vehicle. Mocking well-informed customers gets sales?Bottom line, do not insult customers to their face even under the pretense of joking around. Just because some of us may have a stained work coat on or may be overdue for a haircut, doesnt mean you should brush us off so easily. We arent here to impress you. You lost a sale and if you couldnt come close to the low end of the market, I understand, but your dealership was a ghost town when we went in. During tax season. Why is that, Bob?
I was first looking for a decently priced used car and that was the place to go. I went in and was instantly met by a salesman named Tyler Grantham. I will not lie we were tough customers and he instantly sat us down and had us go through what we wanted in a vehicle. He then pulled 5 vehicles out for us to test drive and by the second one we knew that it was going to be ours. He was knowledgeable and defintly knew what his customers wanted. I definitely will be going back and referring many friends in the future! We love our 2010 Malibu! Thanks Tyler!
Liberty Hyundai has the best Service Staff I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I have had to have my car serviced their on three different occasions. once on a recall and the other two for regular maintenance checks and services. the Technicians are top notch and pointed out things to me that needed to be replaced, and their work is second to none. The Service staff from the Service Manager, Cashier and even the porters have always gone the distance to make my visits as painless as possible. Time is crucial to me and I have always been treated like a VIP at Liberty. I have also taken my 2001 Pontiac GP there and have never been disappointed. Its a pleasure doing business at Libery Hyundai and I will not hesitate to buy my next vehicle from Liberty Hyundai and the Feldman Group.
Excellent experience with Preston at Feldman Hyundai. He did a great job, and quite literally got me a price that no other dealer could beat on my new Genesis! I highly recommend you see Preston. The best part about it, is that we did all the negotiation over the phone and email, and when I made it into the dealership, the paperwork and the car was ready to go! That is my kind of experience! Thanks Preston!
Brought my 2010 Hyundai for its first ever service check. I had the brakes done all the way around. My only disappointment was that aftermarket brake pads were the only option available for my car instead of factory brake pads. I feel a Hyundai dealership should only supply factory parts. The service manager was very nice and did his job in a very professional manner. I only indicated four stars out of five because I believe that all car dealerships should continue to improve on their customer service. People who come in to buy a car are investing a huge part of their income to that dealership, and its crucial for them to know that they are valued customers, especially when they pull off the lot.Hyundai cars are great cars and I plan to buy another one in the future.
Outstanding Service, Honest, Diligent Staff. I was in market to buy a new car and Mike Berry and his team went to work to get me the best deal. Since then I have been there to get cars regular maintenance done and the service staff is equally customer interest oriented.
I’ve been driving my leased Hyundai Kona for 17 months now and it continues to be the worst driving experience I have ever had. You step on the gas pedal and it doesn’t go, not a good thing for a car.I take it for regular maintenance at the dealership (the service people are nice) but every time I mention the issue, I’m told there is nothing they can do about it.
I summer in Michigan and have serviced my 2009 Genesis as well as our 2009 Accent on several occasions. I have received exceptional service every time, with my car delivered at or earlier than the projected time of completion. I have nothing but great things to say about the various gentlemen that have taken care of me at the service desk and inside when writing up the final order. I would especially single out Brian in service for his consistently courteous deportment and attention to my needs.
Ian and the team at Liberty Hyundai were extremely helpful and accommodating. They had a test drive vehicle ready for us when we arrived and offered us a fair price. We felt like everyone was very honest about what features and extras we would benefit from and didnt feel pressured. It was an extremely pleasant experience the whole way through.
I wanted to give 0 stars. I purchased my new vehicle 25 days back and they provided me temporary registration for 15 days. They told me that my name plate will be available with in 10 days. But there is no update from the dealership and no response when I try to reach them on phone. I am not driving my new car for last 1 week, since no name plate.
Fantastic sales force. I have purchased two vehicles from this dealership. They are professional and courteous. Buying a new or used car should be a fun experience, and it is at Liberty Hyundai!I have owned three new Hyundais and I highly recommend their vehicles as well as this excellent dealership.Keep up the great work Liberty Hyundai!
Received exceptional service. Had to go in earlier than my scheduled appointment. They had no issues. I had my car serviced, washed and ready even before my actual appointment time came up. I usually wait for service to complete and they make sure that I dont wait long. Thanks Liberty.
We drive 30 miles from our home in Westland to this location because of how much we love it! We have a Hyundai dealer much closer, but we prefer this one. Very fast, ( the only thing that takes forever is my husband loves chatting with the employees LOL) all around wonderful dealership. We only wish we would have found this location sooner as we could have purchased our Kona from this location (New Hudson, mi)
Hyundai really stepped up for me. I had an issue with my starter which occurred just outside of my warranty coverage (talking like 1,000 miles over) but still within the 5 year period. They could have just said --- sorry bud --- over is over --- but instead, they stood behind their product and took care of it at no cost to me. Quality vehicles + fantastic service --- all at an affordable price. My last 3 purchases have been Hyundais and they just made sure that the 4th one will be too. Thank you all for taking care of me and my family. Buy Hyundai - you wont be disappointed.
If you visit this dealership to find a car, make sure to speak with Steve! We had such an amazing experience buying our new car from him. He was so helpful and was able to answer all of our questions. We loved Steves energetic personality and he made us feel right at home!
I would give 10 stars to part of the experience if I could, but only 1 to the other part, so overall I gave a 4.Sales - 1 star: Came in on a Saturday to look at a 2011 pre-owned sonata that was loaded and just what I wanted. But I saw a Demo 2013 sonata that was sitting there and inquired about it instead. I was told that the car was still considered new, and was close to $30,000, which was out of my price range. Sales person left the desk and came back a few times and finally said we will give you $4500 off the price and can get you down to your payment and I said lets write it up. Sounds good so far but here (and in the next section) is why I am giving 1 star for sales. Even though I asked, the sales person never once told me what my term or rate would be on the car and would clam up or walk away when I asked. I let it go and was taken to the Finance Manager, Ellie Prince, to finalize the deal.Finance Manager - 10 stars: Ellie was honest, forthcoming and genuine. She didnt BS and try to sell me on fabric or paint protection and a bunch of stupid add-ons I didnt need. She broke it down and explained why I should seriously consider the warranty extension, tire and wheel protection and Gap Insurance and made a good case which I agreed with. Here is the kicker (and 1 star for sales) she showed me the term, rate and payment with my down payment and an extra rebate thrown in, and the payment was WAY higher than what the sales person quoted AND it was on an 84-month term! This is the reason why the sales person didnt want to talk about it. I also found out that he $4500 off was broken down into said rebate and the car being priced at invoice. I wasnt getting anything more off of the price of the car. I am not super comfortable with a 72 month loan, but at a low interest rate it is not bad, but 84 months at 4% is crazy. Ellie and I worked together and with Cliff the General Sales Manager to try to get the deal to work for me and after an hour of trying and dropping prices on the add-ons, trying to change over to a lease and everything, we decided it would not work.If it wasnt for Ellie, I would have left that night and continued my search elsewhere for a vehicle that I could afford. Luckily they still had the original pre-owned vehicle I wanted to look at on the lot still. Ellie convinced me to explore it further and we worked together the following night and put a deal together to get me in that car for the price I wanted. She even bought the whole place slushies, including the customers. This place is lucky to have someone like Ellie doing the financing end of deals. In most dealerships, the finance manager is usually a pompus, aloof older person who forces customers into bad decisions and puts them in an uncomfortable position by playing their want/need for a new car against them. Ellie is the antithesis of the norm and a breath of fresh air in this environment. Other dealerships could learn a bunch from her about how to treat people. If Ellie ever leaves Liberty, I want to know where she goes, because I will be buying my next car from the dealer she works for, no matter the brand.
Sales department one of the worst Ive ever dealt with. Made an appointment to test drive a used car, once I get there (30 mile drive) they cant even find the keys or where the car is located. Promised to find out details and call back, only to get no response whatsoever. Then I called to find out whats going on, and got to talk to a sales rep on my 4th attempt because apparently no one answers their phones. Turns out they didnt have the vehicle all along and was blatantly lying when they said theyd hold the vehicle for me.After all this, zero apology offered.Read all the positive reviews and youll notice a pattern... Not saying theyre all fake but make up your own minds......
I love Hyundai cars and their 10 year warranty. (Its worth purchasing the 10-year bumper to bumper warranty upgrade when you buy a new car.)Good service department.Participates in Costcos car purchase program - the easiest way to get a no-haggle rock-bottom price on a new car.
I am very pleased with the attentiveness and courteous service that Frank Melone, the Financial team, Service personnel provided to my on a late Thursday Night to expedite getting the Hyundai Veloster for me to drive home that night.Your team at Liberty Hyundai have gone above and beyond to make sure everything was functioning properly and all the paperwork was in order. Even to the point of following up to make sure the Insurance VIN for the car was correct. Let me step back to explain. My wife also bought a 2015 Veloster last year back in August of 2015; it did cause confusion since we both now have the same model but the VIN is the only difference as well as the color. Now, due to the attentiveness in catching the error of your Dealer manager and Frank Melone; I was able to clear up the confusion by talking with my insurance agent at Farmers to make sure the correct VIN number was sent to Frank Melone via an attached document highlighting the correct VIN for the Red Hyundai Veloster I purchased Thursday night 2--5/2015.Your service technician and service department were very efficient in making sure the installation for my cargo net was done quickly. My complements to all of you there at Liberty Hyundai for making my purchase and service experience a joy. :-)I have recommended your dealership to my friends and family when they ask where I got my car. Everyone has remarked about the eye-catching color and sleekness of the body style.Again, Thank you!!Geronimo Fewlipe
My throttle position sensor went in my car (07 Sante Fe). I called around and other dealers said they would have to replace the entire assembly, which isnt true. Liberty replaced the sensor and updated the computer firmware which was much cheaper than replacing the entire assembly, and the prices were reasonable. Ive been taking my car back there ever since.
I was shocked when I visited Liberty Hyundai to now find it was Feldman Hyundai. There was a clean sweep of the entire staff. Staff which I had come to know and respect.Really hate the idea of starting over from scratch. The new crew seemed nice enough, but whoever thought it was a great idea to broom the old crew was completely wrong.Reminds me of the greedy wall street bastards who wrecked my old company.Still, theyre the closest dealership, so no choice but to try to build new relationships. Not liking it though.
I have had my Sonata in for service several times over the past two years and have found the service team, led by Ben Anderson, to be very polite, professional and friendly. On top of that they also have provided quality work!I would recommend them to anyone owning a Hyundai. I plan of purchasing my next Hyundai from them, if the pricing is right!
Stopped by the Service Dept yesterday to inquire about an automatic starter for my 2013 Elantra. I entered the Service Dept. directly and found no service representatives at either desk. There was, however, a cashier at her station.I stood at her desk for at least 5 minutes while she proceeded to continue with her text message on a telephone. She completely ignored me as if I wasnt standing there at all. Got tired of waiting and left for Mickey Shores where I made my purchase. Why is customer service such a difficult issue for todays companies???
Ben at Hyundai services went above and beyond his call of duty to assure I was a satisfied customer. I am not always the easiest to get along with but his professionalism and the fact he went the extra mile (or two) to make me happy. I will be recommending Hyundai forever solely on the satisfaction I received with working with Ben.
If I could give a lower star rating, I would. The sales team here has TERRIBLE customer service. Our experience included managers repeatedly not returning calls, sales team selling a product to us that didn’t end up being possible with our BRAND NEW SUV purchase. Very unprofessional and rude. Do NOT go to this dealership.
Worst experience of my life. Will never go to this place again. I had a scheduled appointment for test drive. I drove 30 miles one way and reached on time for test drive. Finally came to know that they did never had the vehicle and were expecting to get it from another dealer. They told me that they have the vehicle with them and is available for test drive. I advice not to go to this place, it is better to pay few more dollars at another place where they at least dont lie.
Went on a road trip a few months back with my Brother and his Wife in their brand new top of the line Mercedes, and it was a WOW. Just took delivery of my brand new 2015 Hyundai Sonata from Feldman Hyundai of New Hudson, and its a DOUBLE WOW WOW! So quiet, smooth and comfortable! I would say compared to any type of vehicle, the Hyundais stand tall! If your in the market for any type of vehicle, I recommend everybody to stop by and see Jamie Proffer. Jamie and his Manager Jeremiah Alverado will give you all your options and do whatever it takes to make sure you have the right vehicle, AND figure out how to make it affordable! Could NOT have asked for a better experience, or vehicle! Thanks Hyundai, and thanks Feldman!Paul Ostin
Huge thanks to Lavon Poll. We pulled in, strangers to the area with a long drive ahead, , no appointment, with a strange noise in the right front tire. He had it figured out in a flash, searched for the part (which well have to get back in Minn) arranged a temporary fix, fed us pizza and gave us water. He got us back on the road in little time. THANK YOU LAVON AND FELDMAN HYUNDAI
After a man attempted to run me over on my motorcycle, I sought refuge at their dealership. Police came to take report. Feldman Hyundai/Chevrolet employees are buddy-buddy with the assailant; several employees gathered around the assailant while waiting for police. Now I am banned from their property under threat of arrest. I was a previous customer of theirs, never again. (Police are investigating to possibly pursue charges against assailant.)
Best car buying experiance I have evr had. Dave Kegley and Kevin Kommander went out of their way to get me into a beautiful safe vehicle for my family even with my credit issues. I will never buy another car from anyone other then Dave and Kevin again and Liberty Hyandui made my kids feel at home. I recomend this dealership to anyone. A+++++
I plan on purchasing a 2016 Hyundai Equus Unlimited here in the Michigan metro Detroit area at the end of May. My biggest concern is it really worth $23,000 to $27,000 with it being a rear wheel vehicle thats also 4 years old. Ive been driving my 2001 Lincoln Town Car signature for about three years. I like to know from someone who at one point owned or still owns a Hyundai Equus whod drived it year-round meaning in the winter with snow and summer time if the ride quality is better with the newer technology in the snow. Ultimately I like to know if the Hyundai Equus is better in the snow than my 2001 Lincoln Town Car which by the way is over 5000 pounds.
Worst experience ever!! Bought a used car from them not even a week later come to find the AC didnt work n they wanted 1200$ to fix it n kept shoving my face in the fact that I didnt but the Warrenty but they said the car came with AC n they had that car all summer so no question to If they knew the car had air or not!! I hope they burn to the ground truly I do
Feldmans is an auto dealership, we have frequented, always with good results!! I was a reluctant purchaser of a 2016 Hyundai Sante Fe. You see, my love, my 2002 Sante Fe was/is just about dead with 197,000 miles..........and no real trouble until 192,000 miles. I will continue to use it, with a couple of tweaks. So my Sales Consultant, Jamie Proffer, who was patient, knowledgeable and truthful was an asset to me. His assistance, along with a couple of other staff, made my decision, a very good one. I love my new Sante Fe and can only hope for the same as I continue to drive into the sunset!! Thank you!
I leased a vehicle from this Dealership. Was told that I had to pay the disposition fee up front in cash so I did. Now that I turned my lease in I find out that I actually paid for a free warranty instead. Now that I had to turn in my lease, I have to pay the REAL disposition fee. Very Shady!
Terrrible experience took my down payment and put me in a loaner car said my car will be ready in a few day’s its been 3 weeks I still haven’t received my car nor have they fixed the issue they don’t have any other cars that fit my payment or terms they refuse to refund me my 4700 down payment DO NOT RECOMMEND
Talk about worthless. Walked in, all employees on their cell phones, not greeted once. I had to ask for help, but then was basically told I was lying when I said I spoke to someone earlier who said they had a particular model in stock. Felt as if I inconvenienced everyone. Dont go here!

2022-06-14As always, my recent service and purchase experience was fantastic. Im on my second Feldman vehicle, and even the salespeople who didnt play a direct role in selling me my last vehicle (2.5 years ago) still remembered me this time and were very friendly and welcoming. The facility is great, the people are wonderful, and even if you are interested in another type of vehicle they have lots of other options in their other locations.Go see Haley--shell take great care of you!

2022-02-04If you’re in the market for a Hyundai (or any other vehicle in the Feldman-Verse) ask for Dustin. I have purchased 5 cars through Dustin, and each time it’s been a “Five Star Experience”.

2022-02-05Bought a Genesis G-70 have only 6000 miles. Have an engine light, front sensor issues just to name a few. Set up service on the genesis app. Day of appointment never heard anything called talked to service. “Our system doesn’t talk to that service” we will need you to schedule another appointment. We will need to keep your car for a couple weeks but we do not have any loaners. Keep driving your car while you wait a couple weeks the service engine light is not a big deal. I will never go to, recommend this dealer network!! There are many more that will appreciate my business!! As for Genesis save your money! There are so many other brands and dealers that would love to have you as a customer!

2022-07-05If you are in the market for a car I recommend going to Hyundai of New Hudson. Make sure you see Dustin he will get you into something you are comfortable in. It’s my first Hyundai and I am very pleased with this Santa Fe and the warranty is unbeatable. Can’t say enough great things.

2022-02-04Highly recommend! I recently purchased two new vehicles from Feldman Hyundai in New Hudson. I was only planning to buy a larger SUV, but Dustin made the process so easy from start to finish. He actually listened to what I wanted, and helped me find it! It went so well, that we ended up buying a Palisade for me, and a Kona for my husband!

2022-03-30Happy with our purchase of a used Ioniq at Feldman Hyundai! All of the sales representatives were helpful and kind, especially Steve who helped us close the deal. Marc in finance was excellent at explaining our options for financing and the extra warranty coverage levels and gap coverage. Both Steve and Marc were patient while we made our decisions and cheered us on through the purchase. I’ve had the car for 2 days now and am pleased with our purchase so far. Still learning about all of the features of the vehicle… so much technology! Thank you, Feldman Hyundai of New Hudson!

2022-03-25This dealership is playing games. They should have their association with Hyundai revoked. I drove 40 minutes to discuss a purchase which they were trying to sell for $5000 OVER sticker. They were willing to negotiate the price providing I agreed to finance through them and put down no more than 10%. Then they gave me some bulls*t story that they could not buy out my current lease. The payments that they came back with were ridiculous because there arent any incentives available when there were clearly incentives listed on Hyundais website. Game after game after game. Ridiculous. After I leave this review, Im calling Hyundai to report the dealership. I dont care what is going on in the market right now. You dont screw around with customers. Its bad business. I walked out and warned them to never contact me again.

2022-05-03I recently came into Feldman Hyundai of New Hudson to have my vehicle serviced. Lisa took such great care of my car. The spark plug in the first cylinder went out because the first cylinder kept filling up with oil. There was a leak in the gasket which she replaced along with the seal and all new spark plugs. I had a wedding to go to that upcoming Saturday and she was able to make it work for us in that short period of time. It was up and running like a charm! I highly recommend! Thank you Lisa!

2022-01-19I was looking for a new vehicle. They did not actually have the vehicle offered on their website. They did offer to try to track one down. I said I would prefer to deal with Hyundai dealership closer to home then as I have done business with them in the past and had good experience. I also let them know that their online reviews were of concern. They said to consider their services if anything needed in the future. I thought that was it. But then they proce.eded to run my credit for vehicle which impacted my credit rating. I was able to purchase from other dealership which proves that I did not even attempt to purchase a vehicle from here. I just received another notification which makes me think they ran my credit AGAIN. I thought the phone call was professional but I guess its sour grapes if you dont buy from them

2022-04-05Our salesman Steve Bessette was extremely helpful when choosing the right car for my teenage daughter. Everyone we met at the dealership acknowledged you and everyone had a smile on their face. We also had a great experience with Marc in finance who was very thorough and very pleasant to work with.
