DO NOT buy from these people! They are rude and never returned my calls. After days of trying to get a hold of them and no answers I decided to drove down to lot to talk to somone. Even after that they wouldnt fax over any information for my bank! Like do you want to sell your cars? Seriously terrible service. On top of that they dont come into the lot till 12:30pm.. this was honestly the worst customer experience Ive ever had, I wouldnt waste your time. If you want a good car and good service go anywhere but Fenton Fine Used Cars!!!
I wasnt sure if I could afford a car they were planning on selling. They set me up with a refundable hold even though they dont usually do so. When the situation got funky they still followed through on the refund.Great guys with principle. Not the easiest trait to find in todays used car market.
We bought a truck and had been looking for awhile and got the best deal here! When we went to leave something was amiss and it wouldnt start Fenton used cars took care of us immensely and got it fixed right away! We came back to get it and have never been happier! We will be back when our child starts driving next year! Cannot thank them enough for getting us into a truck again it has been so helpful!
I purchased a 2012 mazda really good experience. Great car for the money. My first time getting a car loan the guys really helped me through it. I was very happy with the experience as a whole. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. They are good people....and kept me laughing. I will be a longtime customer.
I purchased an excellent Jeep commander at a great value from Josh and his team. We traveled from Chicago area there after having not good experiences in several local used car dealers. We also took the car to the jeep dealership for a second opinion in Fenton which they agreed. Many local businesses /customers also told us during our trip how great this local business was. The car was exactly as presented on his site and when we called as well to plan pur trip there and we appreciated all the care and concern that was given to our family and my safety in purchasing a used car. It was a seamless experience in all aspects of the sale.Thank you!
My boyfriend, close friend, and I recently came here to look at a vehicle listed online. Were from over an hour away in Metro Detroit, so we were really hoping to be able to go home with the vehicle.As soon as we arrived, it was clear that something was amiss. The sign on the door reads temporarily closed due to COVID but wed already called to confirm that they were open. The moment we walked in, the owner, Steven, had no mask whatsoever, not even one on his deck to put on. As someone who is high-risk, this already made me nervous. (At no point during the hour that we were there, did he ever put on a mask, despite us being told that he also practices as a doctor?)Looking past that, before getting into the car, we kept being told that the vehicles most recent owner had a custom aftermarket exhaust placed (without the O2 sensor) and that the owner had been driving the vehicle himself, as a personal vehicle, before being told by his son to list it on his lot. We asked how recently it was listed, and we were told it was very recent. All things considered, my partner was intrigued and we requested a test drive.During the test drive, the vehicle was incredibly loud (which, when combined with a check engine light, led us to believe that there was actually a muffler issue) and began dripping oil within three minutes of being parked. There were issues with all three backseat seatbelts and none of the interior lights in the dashboard were functioning. Otherwise, the car did run and drive nicely, and my boyfriend was really interested, pending additional information about the muffler.We got back to the dealership and tried to get more information about the exhaust situation, which only led to I mean, you drove it. It drove great. Its just a little loud. Pushing politely, we were then informed that a Carfax was available and that his personal mechanic had viewed the car and had given it a clean bill. I personally requested to see the Carfax and the mechanics documentation (only actually receiving the Carfax) which proved that everything we had been told was a lie.All of the cars previous owners had only ever had basic servicing. No after-market exhaust, or muffler servicer, was listed anywhere. And, interestingly, there was no way that the owner could have been driving the car and recently listed it, as it had been listed at two separate dealerships within 12 days of each other months prior, without a change in secretary of state ownership. Even worse, in that 12 days and even the months post-purchase, it hadnt been listed as seeing any sort of mechanic or servicer (even from the same shop, as wed been told). This means that the owner buys used cars from local dealerships and then sells them on his own lot for profit, without ever even servicing the vehicle.Before we left, we asked again about the muffler and asking if the owner had taken a replacement into account within the price. Our close friend said yeah, this car is listed rather high for needing a major repair, especially given that exhausts are often around $400. The owner immediately denied this but was willing to look it up. We encouraged him to do so, knowing that the vehicle was internationally-built. He said that the muffler was only $200. We asked if that included the O2 sensor, which he said no, but it was only like $30. So, given that the parts alone were almost $250, we asked why it wasnt reasonable to think that, when labor and shop fees are added, that the repair would be upwards of $400. This was met with a change in conversation.My partner then said that he wanted to sleep on it, which the owner respected. However, the moment we were turning to leave, he said You know, if you do come back, Ill take off $250 for the muffler replacement. Which, is normally a nice gesture, but in this situation, felt like a last-minute tactic.We will not be going back, and with the slew of positive reviews, I wanted this instance to be known for future buyers. We likely dodged a bullet and I hope others can do so as well.
I drove an hour to look at a Jeep and josh new I was coming took the Jeep home wasn’t there when I arrived and now they are saying the Jeep has been at the impound yard for days. How do you not let someone know that you don’t even have the advertised vehicle on the lot. Waste of peoples time.
I dont know where to begin other than my wife and I are EXTREMELY PLEASED with the purchase of our Jeep Wrangler. Josh is a very down to earth guy. I loved his no gimmicks or dramatic acts of salesmanship. Honest, knowledgeable, and to the point. We were pretty set on buying a 4 door unlimited with an automatic transmission. After I took it on a test drive Josh humbly recommended I take the 2-door stick shift down the road. It had been years since I drove a stick but I knew exactly why he recommended it!! What a GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! We left a deposit to think about it and ended up buying the 4-door automatic (wifes choice not mine). Definitely going to be a repeat customer!
This is a little late,We had purchased our new favorite family expedition about a month ago and love it! They were honest and very forward with everything, for once it felt like a car dealer you could go to and feel good about your purchase. Also, great, great price! We will for sure be back for any cars we need!
Locally owned and operated. I was referred to him by an old friend, and when in need of a good used American vehicle I know to look towards Michigan. Not only did he give me a great value, he went through the full history of the car with me, directed me towards something I wanted and was within my budget, and even shipped it to me in Florida for a small fee. The dealerships in Florida sell nothing but used rentals, with his knowledge he helped me to get exactly what I wanted for a fraction of the price. He was even able to finance me in house! Incredible. Small businesses and business owners are the way to go. No BS just straight quality service. Thanks again!!
Nick was our personal vehicle guide around the lot. He was super helpful and not pushy. Being in sales myself I walk away from pushy. Nick was awesome, talked to both my fiance, and I equally. Josh, and Bill were super also. The staff there is very nice, and I like the touch of having our names on a welcome board as we walked in. Glad to see that some dealers treat buyers as people and not another sale. We will be back.
Customer service is excellent with great business hours making it reasonable for those to get to after work hours! Josh is such an informative and helpful sales man to work with by providing you with many options to assist in making your vehicle purchase as pleasant as possible and as smooth as possible. There is a variety of inventory to choose from. Overall, great experience and highly recommended. Purchasing a vehicle is a very stressful and annoying situation in almost all cases anywhere you go. This is the case I found to be the rare case.

Went into this place with high hopes of a decent family establishment and i was not dissapointed! They let me know everything I needed to know about the cars i was interested in and were generally good and honest people, not to mention the deals they offer are great! 10/10 would recommend if you’re looking for a dependable car for a fair price.
Josh and Jessie are great they are there to help you find the vechicle you are looking for. They are very knowledgeable about the inventory they have and if they dont have what you want they will find it. I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in buying their next car,truck,or minivan. It was a great experience dealing with them so go down to dealership and pick out your next vechicle you wont be disappointed....
Went there, no one was there during the posted times, a friend of the dealership was waiting there as well. He was very nice and way more helpful than anyone in the dealership, when someone finally got there, the guy had a very weak handshake, and had terrible salesmanship. He did not try to sell me anything, just re-stated what was on the lot. I put a cash deposit on a vehicle I thought was a decent fit, shopped around for a few more days, decided on a another vehicle elsewhere. I went back to get my deposit, no one acknowledged me (it is a tiny office), when I finally talked to someone, they condescendingly asked if I was denied financing for the vehicle, and wrote me a check which looked like it was written by a 5 year old. Terrible service, terrible salesmanship. I recommend literally anywhere else in the area.
Terrible manners. I sent a message on website, emailed them and sent a message on the phone. NEVER heard back from anyone regarding a vehicle I was very interested in. Than 4 hours after I saw the ad they updated it to mark the car up $1000. What kind of business does this? Respectable and Honest my foot. I wouldnt buy a vehicle from them now if they gave it to me . They lost a cash sale from me.
They’ve got no respect for their customers. They gave me the runaround for a whole week when I tried to purchase a vehicle. They also never responded to any of my voicemails never called me back when they insisted they would. Then they had the audacity to tell me that they weren’t holding the car for me unless I made a deposit. They’re completely unprofessional and disorganized. I’ve never been treated so poorly at a business. DO NOT GO
Overall good dealership..Owner was very courteous and straight forward regarding his lot and inventory. Most vehicles were priced fairly and below market value. No hidden fixes as he makes sure all his inventory is inspected and fixed prior to putting on lot/ selling to you.
We just bought our 07 dodge from Josh. He was very polite, friendly . Went into detail about the vechile how he got it. Also showed us an awesome warranty that we can purchase for our car . That will help fix it if any things do happen. Bc mechanically things just go nothing you can do about that. He also filled up our gas thank thanks again
Fentons finest used cars!!! Was an absolute hit! We found just the family vehicle we were looking for. The sales men were very helpful and you really get that small town feel from this family owned car shop. We chose to finance or vehicle, and they were very helpful with the whole process.
***UPDATE: Title was received just after 2 months, with missing information. Dont let them tell you the SOS lost it or sent it to the wrong address. After a long phone call with the SOS office it was confirmed Fenton never requested it, it was never sent to the wrong address and they advised us to file a complaint with the SOS directly to see if that would push them to actually file paperwork. We would have done the same with the BBB but they advised to only file one complaint overall to prevent duplicate work. Total nightmare, do not leave without a title in hand, or better yet do not purchase from them.*** HORRIBLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH. 2 MONTHS NO TITLE. Purchased a truck from them a month ago and we are still waiting on a title. After repeatedly trying to get ahold of them we were first told it was being processed and will be here shortly. A few weeks later and many phone calls not answered we finally reach someone who will call his manager and get back to us. Obviously no-one called back so when we called again we were told it had been mailed next day (we now know this was a lie, one of many). This was 3 days ago and we STILL have not received it. Now we have the bank they referred us to for the loan stating they need the title ASAP and again no-one at Fenton will get back to us. So for a month we have been paying for a truck we cant drive because this company will not fulfill their responsibilities. If we werent in Indiana Id be there daily but unfortunately well just have to keep calling. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and the state if this isnt resolved by the end of the week. I HIGHLY recommend you do NOT use this company unless you dont care about getting a title for your vehicle.
Ive had the pleasure of working with Fenton Fine Used Cars since April 2017. I work directly with Josh Deehl in a B2B setting and am in pretty frequent contact with him. You can tell a lot about a dealer by the way they run their business and I can assure you, when you do business with this dealership, youre in good hands. They strive to stock the lot with only the best pre-owned vehicles at affordable prices. I would recommend them to anyone thats in the market for a quality used car.
UPDATE: THE CAR IS NO LONGER RUNNING ( For the 2nd time) The cost of repairs are now at $3,000 !!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE.Where to begin? I guess I will start with the insane $500 deposit my wife put down to just hold a car until I test drove it - being told it was refundable was the only reason she did it. The employee, Colton was not even going to give her a receipt until she asked for one. They offer financing and she was told everything would be ready if I was satisfied with the test drive on saturday. Upon our hour plus drive to Fenton she called, Fenton Fine Used Cars to make sure everything was ready - it was not. No one followed up with the lender or contacted us to give an update. The test drive was ok. The overall experience was bad and lacking customer service. After not being able to close the deal on the agreed day, I told my wife I would rather not do business here. This is where it gets worse! The $500 deposit was NON-REFUNDABLE, the receipt she was given was apparently a contract and she was not informed. With multiple attempts to work this misunderstanding out and get our $500 back, Josh was very unprofessional and not willing to compromise. Being told we could only get the $500 back if he sold the car, since they lost business even though they never took the car off the website. Instead of just pissing $500 away we decided to just get the car, (doing all the financing work ourselves, since as Josh said, it was our job anyway, not theirs, even though they OFFER FINANCING). Josh said he fired Colton, who had only been there a few days, which is odd since they would not accept responsibility for not properly informing my wife of the non-refundable, insane, $500 deposit. Instead of firing someone (which obviously means you were at fault), maybe properly train them, accept responsibility and make the customer happy?! Lastly, the car was on empty, the license plate was installed improperly by Devon, as the right side screws for it were rusted and one was broken off in the hole. They also lied about the fuse to fix the VDC and Slip service light for the Nissan Murano being $50-80, it is much more. Worst car buying experience I have ever had. Terrible customer service and blatant lies. I would highly recommend any other car dealership over Fenton Fine Used Cars.

Sold us a car that we cannot lock. We found out the next morning. We had to spend $75 on a locksmith and now have to disassemble the door to get the key cylinder re-keyed or spend a few hundred on a reprogrammed key fob. Heads up, be thorough on your inspection and check everything on the car before buying.
Worst dealership ever! How can a company go 60 days without transferring the title or registration?!?! No answers or callbacks, just blame on the Secretary of State, which they have no record of any such transfer. Lies, lies, lies. We have a car we cannot drive legally, since it has the previous owner registered to it. Absolutely ridiculous and we now have to take legal action. Never would wish this process or lack of professionalism and customer service on anyone!!!!
Worst used car dealer ever!! Bought a 2005 Nissan Murano from here, or I should say FORCED because they claimed my $500 deposit was non-refundable even when I was told it was. The car is a piece of junk, so many issues ( already $2,000 in repairs ) and only had this POS for barely 3 months. I do not know how this place has so many 5 star reviews, must be the owners friends and liars. I wasnt even going to write a review, but Ive had so many problems I had to warn others. DO NOT BUY FROM FENTON FINE USED CARS!
Working with Josh and Karen was by far the best experience I have ever had when purchasing a veichle!!! They both were extremely helpful with speeding along the purchasing process as well as answering all of my questions. The variety of veichles they have to choose from is AMAZING and I am soo happy to have found a wonderful and reliable veichle for my little family. Saw add for 2500 ram on craigslist, I was worried about the process of getting and buying the truck, since I live a couple hours from the lot. The owner stayed couple hours after closing time twice to make sure everything worked out, was a very smooth and easy process.
So excited about my new fine car...stopped in to Fenton Fine Used Cars,told Josh what I was looking for and I pulled away with a smile and my new baby.love it and the deal I got.thanks again for a stressless quick sale and an amazing reliable set of wheels for a affordable price ,now I can also get my nails done...will refer and be back for a truck in the near future.highly recommended.
There’s no way any of these 5 star reviews are real they lied about it being for sale by owner they said it was an 06 when it was an 03 said it was a clean title when it was salvage and I asked them to clean the throttle body and they spent 30 minutes pretending to do it and highly overprice the truck it was an 03 Chevy Silverado 1500 with no tow hooks and a 2500 bumper (of course they didn’t tell me that) and didn’t inform me that it had a bed from a completely different truck different color firm the cab and everything never trust these people

2022-01-30I’m reading a lot about Josh, but I worked with Ryan during my visit. I called the day before and set up a time of 4pm to look at and test drive a ‘94 Jeep Grand Cherokee. My dad and I drove over an hour to make it to this appointment only for Ryan to tell us he sold it the night before, and didn’t think to contact either of us within the hours leading up to the interaction. As a teen trying to find a car for the first time, this is really disappointing.Based on the other reviews, I’d suggest talking to Josh instead of Ryan, he seems to be a LOT more reliable and experienced.

2019-04-17We had been looking for a used car for more than a month, and because weve had bad experiences in the past with dishonest salesmen Ive been gun shy at pulling the trigger buying one again. Out of frustration I googled Honest dealerships and Fenton Fine Used Cars was one of the first ones that popped up. We scrolled through their online inventory and came across the one we ended up purchasing, the 2013 Ford Fusion. We drove out there immediately! Nick was the one that helped us and I think overtime hell grow as a salesmen with training and experience. I felt we were getting a very good deal combining the year, mileage and sales price. We were also very thankful for Bill, who helped us get the final numbers for financing. And Josh is such a people person, whos funny and down to earth, and simply made you feel like an old friend. I will certainly be a repeat customer and recommend them to our friends and family.

2021-06-14There is lots to say about this dealership, but overall good experience. Josh did not rush the process, and the vehicle was exactly as described in his listings. Detailing would have made this a perfect experience, but I cannot complain. Would definitely return in the future.

He never gave up on him and had so much patience and helped him through the whole process. I highly recommend them. I definitely will be going through them when I’m in need of another vehicle. 2021-11-08I went here and and didnt expect all the cars to be priced pretty fairly, I even walked away with a nice Toyota camry that Im extremely pleased with. Josh the owner was super chill and attentive, came out while I was walking around and I was almost hooked immediately 10/10 would recommend.
