Terrible customer service. Called on Jan 28th after putting an online request in 2 days prior and let them know that our tank was at 20%. Was told it would be 7-10 days for delivery, well 10 days is tomorrow and now we’re out of propane. Called the emergency line and was told too bad, they’ll be out Monday (2 days from now and 11 days from the day we called). We will never again use or recommend this company.
We have been customers of Ferrell Gas for many years now. The girls are always so very nice + friendly to me when I call. When I was out on medical they worked with me on arrangements + have such alway taken good care of us. I just want them to know how much we appreciate them!! Thanks!!
I dont want to give this company 1 star. My daughter and her husband and 2 year old baby have been customers for years. On auto refill, did not come out to fill becuz payment was overdue by 2 weeks. $200 balance. This is january in Michigan. They called and rectified payment Saturday morning. Credit Dept would not process payment over weekend . They were assured they would be filled Monday morning. No fill. When they called they were told that they would have to wait til normal delivery day or pay extra $200 to come out today!!!!!! This company has not heard the last of my complaints. They are about to get some free advertising
We are on auto fill and had to call every month for the last 3 months. Two of those months we ran completely out. We have been customers for years and the service keeps getting worse. We have called since Monday when we where 30 percent and its now Friday and we are at 17 percent and they are closed .If I could give a negative score I would.
It seems theres always hidden charges always an extra 100 bucks stuck in here and there not to mention every time I get filled up the guy does a pressure check and says we have to replace place appliances in our house this has happened 3 times in a row with the same driver aim driver 3 different appliances
Terrible service. Deliveries come late and cant get ahold of anyone. No attempt to rectify it at all. Better call when your tanks at 50% or youll run out by the time they get there.
They have the worst service in the world going to leave this company quick! It’s been over a week week waiting for a propane delivery, they took my money of course but no one’s there to even answer the phone tried calling 3 hours straight no one will answer.......
This is the single worst customer service I have ever experienced. Its amazing that they exist. I feel bad for the people who work there. Im sure it makes them miserable. Do your self a favor and do business somewhere else.
The lady who answers the phone is very rude I have always pd on time called to get a refill told me 10 business days or I can have it today for 150 bucks tom 100 its very dangerous in this cold and she had no compassion for my situation it was at 30 percent told me they wont deliver until its at 20 well in a matter of two days it dropped to 8 percent I will b finding another company if you hate your job that much you should quit Shannon or Sharon whatever your name is how would you feel if it was your family!!
Wow , I called Ferrellgas to get a price for propane to run my Green for van.They refuse to sell propane for that use. they will sell propane for cooking or heating BUT NOT FOR GREEN USES! They are ANTI-GREEN!

2022-02-15Had terrible customer service since Ferrel switch to an 888 phone number and big corporate approach. Most recently, we didn’t realize how low our tank had gotten and ran out of propane in a Michigan winter. Called and was told there was no expedited service options even for an emergency increased fee which we would have happily paid. The soonest they could guarantee delivery was 10 days.So we found a locally owned business who brought a new tank out and a partial fill the same day with much better service. Then I had to call Ferrell twice, be put on hold, get disconnected, call again and ask a bunch of questions just to cancel a fill and get a refund and still was never offered any other options.

2022-02-06Pretty messed up, told Ferrellgas we were below 5% gas and I have a 5 month pregnant wife at home and we need gas right away. But no they want 150$ to deliver any gas sooner than 2 weeks. Worst gas company out there advise anyone to go somewhere else if they have the option.

2021-01-13I moved into a home that has propane services and the prior owner had been using Ferrellgas for years. Unfortunately, I have had a terrible experience with them. We have been advised several times over the past several weeks that someone would be out to fill our tank. Now we are at 10% and being advised that they have no expected date to come fill our tank. I asked to speak with a manager and was advised that she was too busy to speak with me and would get back with me at her earliest convenience. The woman I spoke with was named Janeen and she was really not interested or concerned. I am currently investigating other services, but unfortunately, I suspect I will now be out of propane before I am able to get a new service.*** UPDATE: I elected to go with a different service. Shout out to Suburban Propane. That said, when I called Ferrellgas back to cancel my fill order that couldnt be fulfilled, I spoke to a women named Robin who was BY FAR that nicest and most professional person we dealt with.

2021-03-15Tried to proactively schedule a fill.Was told since we werent below the threshold (believe its 35%) that they would charge us for the difference regardless (i.e. 65% fill).We understood, but of course we didnt want to pay for something we didnt get so we elected to wait.Rescheduled and waited once we hit the delivery threshold. 2 weeks later: no delivery. When we called, we learned they were so far behind that we had to pay $200 extra to get priority delivery because they still had no idea when they could deliver and we were at risk of running out.Scheduled and paid for a pick up 3/1. Called routinely for updates- the ladies we spoke to were great...they just couldnt help us when it came to setting expectations as to when our delivery might take place.Per our online account, notes say it would be delivered by today....were now at 2% and they still dont know when they will get to us. Since they no longer offer priority delivery were basically just screwed...Since we will likely run out before they get around to us, will be switching companies if we dont get our delivery today.

2021-02-24If I could leave less than one star i would. I have never disliked a company more than FerrelGas. Their customer service is trash and the only thing that makes this look better is the actual service they are supposed to provide. I have lived in my new home for six months and have had to call to badger then to make a delivery 3/4 times, once even having to call the emergency number due to running out of fuel after they missed their delivery window.I am again running low with fuel, in the dead of winter, and again without refill after calling for order more than two weeks ago. The customer service team cannot tell me when they will be able to deliver but will “memo” my concerns which obviously will be met with as much care as anything else this terrible company does. Terrible company, if in a position do NOT ever pick this company!

2020-12-17Not happy with Ferrell gas. Called to get tanked refilled, no one got back. Im sure theyll charge me a empty tank leak search when they arrive even though my girl called 2 weeks prior. I understand its a busy season but these guys have been lack since day one. They said we needed a new line dug since copper isnt a valid line anymore paid a permit to get new one dug and guy came out and reused copper the one and DIDNT GIVE A REFUND for permit. Please get back to us.

2021-02-06This is a terrible company. My 86 yr old mother was in the hospital and I went to her house to get it ready for her to come home and gas had been delivered 1 month ago but I checked anyway and it was on almost 0. I knew she had just sent them $1000 and she had been a customer for 40 yrs. It was on a Saturday and I tried to get through on the emergency line and was on hold for 3 hrs. I called back and left a message and they called me back. I explained the situation and asked for an emergency delivery. They said they could not deliver for 10 days . They gave all kinds of excuses why they could not deliver. They did not care that shee was 86, had been a customer for 40 yrs or that her pipes were going to bust and she was going to freeze to death.. The temp was going to be 0 that night. I talked to the Manager Jennifer Obridevick she would not bend or help in any way. I offered to pay extra or whatever she needed to get gas out there. No help.

2018-10-20I have been a customer of Ferrell gas for 8 years. I usually sign up for their locked in price in August. I forgot... Young lady called me in mid October, signed me up for a great price and put in a service call for a fill up. I did not take the time to do it myself, just too busy until the last moment (20% remaining) she took care of it all in under 5 minutes! My tank was full 2 days later! Great job! Great price! Thank you.

2021-05-28Just bought a new home in Fowlerville. The previous homeowner had an account with Ferrellgas and had switched to Corrigan shortly before the purchase. Its now been two weeks with numerous phone calls and emails trying to get Ferrellgas to come and get their eyesore of a propane tank. Hey Ferrellgas, come get your tank off my property.
