First time here food was great. The young man at the register had great customer service. The manager on the other hand was rude. She couldnt hide her distaste for my presence in the establishment. Instead of helping the young complete my order she made him do it all by himself. She needs a refresher course on customer service.
Great sub, great staff, everything about my visit was great. Place was clean and I felt they were addressing covid concerns. I would recommend this location and suggest people who havent tried firehouse to give it a try. Cant say any of their subs are actually 5 Star worthy, but my visit at this location and time was 5 star worthy.
Waited 19 minutes today for my food as an eat in customer. Ive never had service this slow in my life, and their prices seem to be way higher than the Plymouth location. Everyone was friendly, but clearly theyre understaffed. I probably wont be going back to this location again. Also, when I was just about ready to leave, I overheard the manager on duty tell the employees that they needed to make sure the meat in the steamer went on the sandwiches. This seems fairly obvious to me to put the meat on the sandwich.
First ever visit to a Firehouse subs. Place was clean and had about 7 people waiting for food. Not a big deal to me. Ordered 2 medium subs. One was the NY Steamer and the other one was a Pastrami Rueben. We decided to eat in. When our food came out after about a 10 minute wait, both subs were wrong. Neither one was even close to what we ordered. The girl behind the counter remade our order real quick. The guy behind the counter must have been new and did not know the subs yet. We were satisfied with the subs once we got them.
My wife and I just left this restaurant around 8:30 and we are not pleased with our service. The place was not CLEAN it deserves to be shut down by the health department. When I started to approach the bathroom I was hit with a STRONG unpleasant smell. As my wife and I were ordering our food. We seen ants on the floor as well as the counter. My wife found hair in her food as well. The lady didnt even wanna take my order and seemed uninterested, this is unacceptable and we wont be back. I did take it upon myself and called the health department to let them know what we saw
This used to be my favorite Firehouse. The last 3 times we have gone, there has been an issue. Either the food was completely wrong or they forgot something. Went at 7:30pm tonight and they had already put all the chairs up on the tables so no one could sit down. They dont close until 10:00pm. I am extremely disappointed with my experience here. I will definitely be driving to a different location rather than returning to this one.
I waited over 25 minutes for one sub. If I had that much time on my hands I would’ve sat down at a restaurant. there was a line of about eight people and only one person working. Pretty ridiculous for a Monday night. Meanwhile the manager and some girl hung out in the background complaining about other employees. Slow and unprofessional.
Messed my first sandwich up. Called to let them know about it. They answered the phone no hello no nothing set it on the counter and ignored it for 5 minutes. At that point I hung up and drove back up there. The lady behind counter was a jerk. The manager was apologetic and remade my sandwich. I wasnt upset about my food being wrong but upset about the ladies attitude and the lack of phone etiquette.
Short on staff. The one manager had a bad attitude and had her shoes off showing her toe nails when I walked in. Other staff memberS were hiding out in the bathroom while waited to order. Finally got my order after almost 20 minutes. This location needs a new staff. They were not the cleanest location I’ve been to I have reported them to the health department. I was discussed by the lady Simone was had her shoes off when I walked in.. yuck! 🤢
I wanna give this place 50 stars !! I wanted to try something new so last week I went to Firehouse with my husband and kids. I loved the firemen decoration all over and it was warm in there too . I was so glad this place has high chairs because barely any restaurants have them anymore. The woman at the register was so sweet, she was smiling and cracking jokes and she even made my kids laugh! I instantly felt welcome. I didn’t know they did table service either, our food was brought out to us and again the workers were smiling and treating us like family, i felt incredibly welcome. My 2 daughters enjoyed the hats they gave us and the food was so goodI ordered a sub to go so I could eat it for lunch . I tried the Italian sandwich and the cheese was melted perfectly and even tho my order was hard they got it right. Not only was the food delicious but I appreciate how when I had questions the crew seemed so happy to help me out and I thought that was very cool because most people would get an attitude. I feel like Firheouse is family freindly and if you want a place with high chairs and free refills go here !!! I will definitely be coming back over and over and OVER AGAIN! I could write a 10 page review on how much I love this place Im definitely recommending you guys to my friends! I ❤️ Firehouse !!
Called in order guy on the phone was very rude and unprofessional! Kept rushing me asking if it was a combo? Cutting me off the whole time! And abruptly hung up? Lately the service is not good. Definetly different from when it first opened! You have to constantly check your order because usually something is missing. Wont be coming back after tonight!
I ordered my sandwiches and it was a long wait just for two sandwiches. One worker was having a whole conversation on the phone while making my food and it seemed to me like the phone call she was having was more important than making my food and to me that felt wrong. She never said a word to me and just went to the back when she finished putting my food together. I didnt feel welcome by her and I didnt feel like she really cared about anything she was doing. Then the othr girl that was there had her hedphones in a ear and didnt even wash her hands before putting on gloves which made me rethink eating the food. Both of them were having inappropriate conversations that everyone could hear. Plus there was no pickle in my bag, my sandwiches looked thrown together it was so sloppy. There was bbq sauce all over my bag and the napkins were covered in greasy fingerprint. Wasnt the best of work for someone on there phone while their working. This will be my last time going to this place, Im sticking to Subway.
03/22/2018 I didn’t even want to rate it 1 star, I had 2 horrible experiences at Fire House Westland. First experience I ordered online went into store 10 minutes later after my order was ready, I went into the store I told the Man at the register that I was there to pick a online pick up he told me they was “finishing it up right now” I’m like my order suppose to have been ready that’s why I ORDERED ONLINE. So I wait for 15minutes still nothing. So I finally go back to the register and I said I’ve been waiting for my order for a minute and I ordered online what’s going on. The man told me again that they was working on it, so I’m like that’s crazy because I ordered over almost a half hour ago 😡 so the young lady came to me and asked for my receipt and she was like I think we made this already and I’m heated at this point because there’s no point to order online if your order isn’t prepared when you get there. So I wait 5 more minutes and I received my food and no apology no nothing and my pickles wasn’t in the bag which made me more angry.2nd Experience was 4/3/2018Ordered online again and when I arrived to the location and my food wasn’t prepared again at the time that it stated that it will be ready, and then the guy questioned my order saying that they have to make sure my card is legit I’m looking confused because the order went thru. After 15 minutes I finally received my order. I won’t be coming back to Fire House Subs as much money that I have gave this restaurant I will never do it again. 2 HORRIBLE experiences was enough. Never again they lost a loyal customer.
Im not sure if my spelling is correct, but a employee by the name Earnest took extra time out of his day to make mine better, and it was really appreciated especially after having to put my puppy of 12 years down, after letting him know about my situation in a casual conversation he made my sub and bought me a cookie which isnt much but ive never had a employee of any establishment do something like that in my 68 years of life, and i have severe arthritis and the gentlemen carried my bags to my car. Overall very comforting employee and i enjoyed the nice conversation we had, especially when he was the only employee i seen working, granted the conversation in the back from others could be work planning, he was able to manage 3 customers before me and also manage me and my problems, thank you so much, will be returning!
Ive been to several other Firehouse subs shops and have thought they were great. This Firehouse on Warren Rd. across from Westland is Terrible! I had a Steak sub and the meat was not hot as well as not enough meat. The sandwich wasnt good, but I will still patronize the Firehouse sub shops!

2022-05-07Never been there before. Staff was friendly and helpful. The young lady who took my order was polite, and have good recommendations for a sub. She explained that their subs were toasted and severed topped with melted cheese. A customer there, she called him Mike, suggested I get my sub with banana peppers, I took his advice and it was a great sub. Definitely going to go back.

2022-03-30People here are really friendly. Greeted me heartily, asked me how the food was, and said goodbye. Even though I was full halfway through eating, the samich tasted so good, I finished it.Friendliness is the service industry is in short supply lately, so visiting this place was a breath of fresh air; I will be back.

2021-05-03Sarah and her staff are fantastic! Store is anyways clean and inviting. Im welcomed by name every time I come in. My orders are always correct, and fresh. This is the 2nd time we order a catering box.... the family once again not disappointed. Sarah, thank you and your staff for always going above the normal expectations. Ill be back very soon.

2022-05-28Horrible sub experience. My wife called us in 2 subs. Barely meat on both of em. Roast beef is chewy and doesnt look like roast beef. Waste of money and the manager was rude.. i wanna call corporate and complain

2020-07-17Sandwich was good. But we ordered online and many topping choices weren’t as we ordered. Also, skip the salad and “mac’n cheese soup” it was so yuck.... but again, sandwich tasted good. Overall rating of “Meh.”

2022-01-18Ordered a sandwich through grubhub. Sandwich that was delivered was the wrong one in the bag. They blamed it on the delivery driver who picked up the correct bag. The manager was immediately dismissive and referred me to grubhub customer service who refunded me with no issue. Thankfully grubhub has more accountability than Firehouse.
