I got a large hole in my “run flat” tire, I was under the impression that I would need to replace all four tires and requested an alignment due to a hit my tire took.Tony was amazing. He measured my tires and explained that I will just need one tire replaced. He also did an electronic reading to find my vehicle was fully aligned so he didn’t charge me the $86 to align it. I’m so thankful that they didn’t take advantage of my situation and they provided the service I needed verses selling things I didn’t.
First time using this Firestone in many years. Was treated great from the time I called to ask questions about the alignment they were gonna do. Was greeted pleasantly the day of my service, Tim was nice, professional and had a great attitude. I didnt get the name of the person who took care of the payment. He was equally pleasant and professional. I dealt with an out of town Firestone in the past, which left a real bad taste in my mouth. Im glad to know the local one is good.
I requested an appointment online the email that was sent to me saying that my request was confirmed also said that if the date and time from my appointment was not available the store would contact me beforehand to reschedule. I arrived at the store at the appointment time requested because I was not called to reschedule so I assumed that meant that the appointment was confirmed. When I arrived and started to speak to the man in charge at the register he raised his voice at me and was rude and spoke down to me as if I did not know I was talking about. I pulled my phone out and read the sentence to him where it said if that scheduled appointment request could not be met that I would be called beforehand and since I wasnt I assumed that meant that the appointment was confirmed. He told me to read it again because I must be misunderstanding even though I was looking at the email in front of me. Ive never had such rude customer service at a mechanic all he had to do was tell me that hes sorry he didnt get to my appointment request and call me in a timely manner but instead he decided to speak down to me and imply that I was stupid and didnt know how to read. Definitely find somewhere else to go if you need mechanical work.
Its very disappointed in the fact that they couldnt get me in right away to change the battery and it was $50 more than going to the dealership
Beware of your service!They try and say things are wrong with your vehicle that isn’t so their employees get commission.Girlfriend went in because her car was shaking.They told her there was snow in her tires, she had a bent rim and needed a new one AND needed back brakes ASAP.None of which was true. Be very careful getting service from these guys.Disgusting theyre trying to take advantage of people during a pandemic.Disappointed. Will not be returning.
I went there to get an alignment on my first car. Workers were amazing with keeping you up to date on when your car will be looked at. Got there the time of my appointment and was out 45 minutes later. Excellent service! Would recommend to anyone!
I was told I had an appointment at 10 am. I drop my car off at least 30 minutes to 15 minutes early, they said they would call me by 12 noon, I came back and I was told my car was not even inside the shop yet. Why make an appointment? So they can hold your car there the whole day? Awful service.
Great place. I blew a tire on highway and they stayed open past closing. Linda and the staff took care of my car with great care and gave me an honest pice on the tires.
Im new to town and used the internet to find good deals. I found a few coupons and decided to call them, and got a better deal on a synthetic oil change w/tire rotation than at any other place. The service team was great. They are personable, know what they were talking about, and very helpful. Also they were able to get a nasty smell out of my AC. I will definitely be going back when I need services.
Went there two weeks ago to get an estimate on fixing my car and the guys say sure bring it down anytime. The next day I bring the car in and well sir, the guy that was going to look at your car is not here today, so I drive the car back home. I call them the next day and was told the guy is there and to bring it in, which I did. They looked it over and wrote up the quote which looked pretty good, better then I expected actually. Called them a week later and told them to go ahead and order the parts and to confirm with me for sure that the parts are in and we set up an appointment for a date and time to get the car brought in. A week goes by and I hear nothing from them, then day before Im to take my car in I call them because they dont have the courtesy to call me like they were supposed to and they tell me the parts are there and the 8am appointment is a go. Morning of the appointment at 7:45am. they call me to ask if they can push the appointment out two days from now because there mechanic doesnt think he will have time to get to it today. I told them NO and that I took time off work for this and that I had made an appointment and Im on my way. I get there at 8am and they tell me they dont even have the parts, guy said he told me that he ordered them but didnt have them. I said but you told me the day before that you had the parts on hand and we were still good for the appointment. Said he was sorry and there was nothing he could do like he could care less. When I was there two weeks ago and walked in there were FIVE people that worked there sitting in the waiting area watching TV because its too hot in the garage. Mean while people are waiting for there cars to get done, so its a no wonder the parking lot is full of cars. I should have known then that it was a mistake to deal with this place but gave them the benefit of the doubt but obviously this place is a joke and they apparently dont car about there reputation and customer service and Ill be sure to let as many people as I can know about there lousy business practices and the could care less attitude of everyone there when they knew I took time off work to make this happen. I cant post this without giving them a star, otherwise I wouldnt give them anything but negative stars if I could. Battle Creek Firestone, YOU SUCK!!
Firestone for the win! After being told no and refusal to complete a lengthy/time consuming alignment on my 90’s Ford pickup by a local competitor, Firestone made time for my vehicle and did it right the first time. Firestone will be my #1 choice for alignments and tire/wheel purchases into the future.
I had a great experience here. Went in for a scheduled alignment expecting Id also need to replace my tires. I was concerned about how long everything would take as I had my 2 youngest children with me. After 15-20 mins I was told that yes, Id need new tires. After my options were explained to me the tires were put on and I was on my way within 20 mins. Price-wise Im not sure how they compare, I guess Ill know once I tell my hubby how much I spent, but time-wise theyre great! Even if the prices are a little higher its worth it for the consideration of your time. I would definitely go back. (The guy with the Pokemon tattoos was very kind and helpful!)
I have yet to have a bad experience here. We made the difficult choice to change from a locally-owned auto shop to a national chain after having too many bad experiences with the local one, but any concerns I had feeling like a nameless face in the system vanished the first time I took our car in for an oil change. We have had both routine maintenance and some expensive repairs done here over the past four years since we first began coming, and each time, I have been treated with the utmost courtesy and respect. As a woman it can feel intimidating to go to an auto body shop alone, but I have never felt condescended to and they have never tried to sell me services or goods I didn’t need. I have only received honesty, professionalism and directness from the staff here. When my husband was deployed for 6 months, they took excellent care of our car and were very understanding of the unique concerns we had with it being our only car and me being alone with two young children. I cannot say enough good things about them!
Original appt was Thursday, Tim was able to squeeze me in on Tues. However my appt didn’t save so others got booked but I was still told I could be done. Took 1 1/2 hr for oil change because 1- double booked & 2- short staff. FYI: stick with your appt and earlier in day the better.
They got me in and out, and the service is great, and professinal. The store manager Linda is awesome!!!
In an age of horrible customer service and people not caring about their customer....Firestone is TOP NOTCH!!! you may pay a little more than the discount places but you get quality service, amazing techs and just an over all great feeling when you hit the road. I want to thank Terry and all the staff for being there for me when Michigan roads and subpar insurance failed me.
I recently placed a phone call to the store to make an appointment for some work on my car. Admittedly my phone had challenges because i faded in and out but was trying to get better reception. When i tried to make the appointment, the attendant sounded and acted annoyed with me and was quite abrupt in his tone. I tried to tell him that i had just been there and spoke with ed and was trying to make an appt. He went on to talk to me in a covert condescending way and it totally changed my experience with this company. I made tge appointment anyways but think its an issue that shiuld be addressed. I realize customer service is not easy, but being frustrated with customers wont grow your business.
These people are deceiving, dishonest, and rude. I had an inspection done on my car and they told me I needed over $2,000 in repairs. I told them I didn’t need anything repaired, as I would do it myself. When I said this, they got very hostile and ended the inspection, and didn’t finish the service. When I went to inspect what they had said was wrong with it, only one thing was actually wrong, and that was my bearing going bad. They wanted to charge me over $700 for a bearing and I changed it myself for $80. These people are the most dishonest mechanics I’ve ever dealt with, and flat out tried to lie to me because they thought I was stupid. After calling customer service they did absolutely nothing to resolve the issue. I will never go back here.
They got my brakes and rotors done in 2 1/2 hours. Super excited with how fast I got my car back when they originally said they might not be able to fit it in.

You were relentless in trying to contact Avis to see if they had an account with Firestone...they didnt. But you were a lifesaver!!I did make it home on the space saver spare, and yes, I cheated by hitting close to 80 mph a few times. You were the one who gave me the confidence to try it (not the speed, though).Thanks again...I wont forget you.
Tire choices for my car were either really cheap or really expensive, no in-between. Fast service. Tires had way too much air in them when I picked it up. Labor rates average. Car returned clean. First time Ive used this repair place and based on my experience Ill probably go back for routine maintenance and suspension repairs.
From the moment I walked in the door, I experienced a grouchy atmosphere. The manager was upset at employees, complaining about the fact that he had to put the tires I ordered away that morning, something that I had nothing to do with. Next I was informed that my battery was bad (despite the fact that it had plenty of cold cranking amps)and they wanted $150 to put in a new one. After an hour and a half wait, I was informed that my alignment was way off and needed to be adjusted ($84). The manager was upset when I informed him I could fix this myself, and stormed back into the garage. In the end the wanted to charge me an overall $234 for additional services, when all I needed was new tires put on. In addition to this, when I checked my psi after recieving my car back, the pressure on the two tires on the right side of the car was 10psi higher than the left side. Theses guys are not on the side of the customer, and highlight the importance of double checking everything done by a mechanic yourself.
Great all around. From desk to deal. Way better prices then and mechanics around. I will come here from now on. 100% great staff.
Took my truck in to get an alignment( steering wheel not streaght). $1000 later, whells not streaght so i take it back and they say, oh ya, weve been having issues with our machine.. So they did very poor job and i made them re-do it. Then one of the replaced ball joint failed 2 times and they fixed for free because it was under warrenty. Now they want $800+ to replace 2 other things.. LONG story short, i took my truck in because the wheel wasnt streaght and lost $1000 dollers just to now have re-occuring issues from the parts they installed. Very very dis-satisfied with the way they tried to handle this. I will NEVER bring them any more business from myself, family or friends. (Firestone on Beckley road Battle Creek, MI).
Great customer service. Only complaint i have is the amount of wait time. I had an appointment for 9 am and left at noon.
Took my work van here to get tires while I was on vacation. 6 days later I picked it up with no new tires. Apparently 6 days isnt enough time to get new tire installation approved by our fleet management and get them ordered, delivered and installed. Took it to the Sears Auto Center and they replaced them while I waited.
The manager gave me the best deals he could and worked with me to get with in my budget. Will be going back for more excellent service. They were fast with the work as well. Thanks guys

Absolute and utter trash I took the time to make an appointment three days ahead of time because that’s what worked for them then they have the nerve to tell me that if I want them to look at my car I’m gonna have to wait another day and they need to keep it another night for them to keep it till almost 2 the next day only for me to find out after taking it to a more reliable source that there is way more wrong with my car than what they told me there thanks for being actually useless I can only hope that you all have better experiences with them than me

Im from out of town and my front headlight was out. I stopped and Terry and his crew were fantastic. Got a new bulb, bulb over plate was out, new wiper blades, in and out in 20 minutes.
The guy went out of his way to find the right tires for my car and was able to find them and install them within a day..All was fine except the tech forgot to wipe off all the excess tire lube and its all over my rim and tire...
The upselling is beyond ridiculous. I was there waiting for my tire and heard them talk to numerous customers, and every single customer apparently had something else wrong that needed to be fixed. They were pumping alignments and their store card this day. I was wondering what they were going to upsell me on, went to pay for my tire, and of course they tell me I need tie rods and a guess what the imfamous alignment, and for an extra $400 it can be done in a hour. Of course I said hell no. No way I will ever go back there.

My breaks went out, so I called them, they said bring it in at 5:30. It was 3pm at the time of the call. Im in battle creek 45min from home. I get there at 5pm and they told me they could not look at today and its not safe to drive. Did I mention Im 45 min away from home, so looks like Im sleeping on a park bench tonight. U suck Firestone!!!

No matter how big or small; these guys have great customer service. They address the issue with your vehicle head on without delay.
Went in and 2 customers were sitting, looked like theyd been helped. Was the only customer waiting. Waited close to 10 minutes before someone came back in the lobby to help (looked like the manager) Told me he would help me in a minute, waited 5 more minutes and he left to go deal with an employee (who said he was leaving, for what reason idk) and FINALLY after close to a 10 min. wait again I left.
Had an alignment and rotation done as well as identified why I have no AC ....god place to have work done at

Found out that if you own a 3/4 ton or bigger diesel, they cant service them. Lifts and alignment bays are too old and cant support weight of bigger rigs. Used them in the past for smaller vehicles.
Tim was excellent at inspecting my tires and gave me amazing tips on my tires and tire pressure for traveling.The other workers were friendly and extremely helpful as well

2022-06-10I arrived at my appointment 10 minutes early. I asked how long it would take to do the inspection and was told 1 to 1.5 hours. I walked around the area and returned an hour later and my car had not even gotten into the garage yet.... It was over 2 hours from my appointment time to when I left. Why schedule an appointment to have me wait for an hour? They estimated the repairs to be nearly $4000. I was able to order all the parts, plus MANY extra parts, and have someone repair it for under $1000. A quarter of the price they gave me. Way over priced, and a waste of my time.

2022-06-18I had an appointment at 2 to have an inspection done on a car I was looking at buying. I left for an hour and they still havent gotten the car inside the garage to start the inspection. Why schedule for 2 when. You wont get the car in until 3, and make me wait for an hour for no reason. They estimated the repairs to be nearly $4000. The mark up on parts was insanity. I was able to buy double the parts and have everything installed and done for under $1000. Way over priced, wasted my time, and not worth the visit.

2022-04-27My car was needing an alignment bad, where it vibrated at highway speeds and overall didnt drive well at all. Thanks to the guys and gals at firestone my car drives like its brand new, straight as an arrow. And also replaced a bad tie rod that contributed to my vibration issue. They were fast and professional in every aspect. Thanks yall ill be a returning customer 👍

2022-03-14Had an 11am appt for 2 tires, no one else waiting and it took 2 hours. It was almost noon before they took my car back. Why have an appt if they cant get you in relatively close to your app time?

2021-10-23I showed to get my alignment redone after the first visit it didnt drive straight and they scratched my rims removing them for the rotation. I returned at 4:30 for a 5:00 appointment. The techs stayed over and after I seen them pull it out and test drive it twice and pull it back in they said it was good. And they agreed to pay to have my rims refinished. The techs did what they could and they tried to make it right.. they get 5*It still isnt straight and the manager said it was probably something else wrong why they cant get the steering wheel to be straight at the same time as the wheels . But they noted absolutely nothing broken or loose and now I have to go to another shop for someone to figure it out.

2021-08-03*This is an employee review*I worked at this Firestone for about a month or slightly longer, but I’d like to make people aware of how chaotic it is at Firestone and how they hired me knowing they could scam me. They offered me 16$ flat rate and I was in training to become a technician so I was doing smaller jobs and they were able to pay me around 10$ a hour, while having me do hours and hours worth of work that I wasn’t aware that I wasn’t getting paid for. So I’d come home after 45 hour weeks with just around 480$ which didn’t add up, I was then told that I had to ask for production hours every day that I do stocking, cleaning and what not. But the first three weeks I had no idea and I wasn’t getting counted for the hours of work. Without me at the time they would never really get it decluttered, cleaned up each day, and to find parts would be a journey. It seems really unorganized at Firestone with some things at least right now. the working experience was good for the most part, everyone’s pretty friendly and they have some very hard working technicians over there. I recommend this company to anyone who is certified on brakes suspension so that you don’t run into this problem like me or just be aware of what you’re going into, do not accept this job with no experience on those things flat rate or you WILL be jugged. And I feel as the managers need better training.

2021-08-21Was told we had to male an appt. We did for 11 am. Called at 1:20 pm and car was still not in. Couldnt get the part until Tuesday. Will have to go back. Will see how long the fix will take. People were friendly just not enough mechanics.
