I bought a Ford Taurus from Mike about 6-7 years ago. This vehicle still runs in great condition today. Ive also sent other family to buy from him and they are also satisfied with the service here. Mike is the guy I received help from, he is very helpful and I trustworthy, hes not in this to just make sales. He genuinely loves what he do. Even after you make your purchase, he is still involved with you checking to see if you are still satisfied. This is the type of place where you should go to purchase your vehicle!
I bought my car from mike at five star 3 years ago. He knew I had a budget and took his time trying to help find the right car for me. The other guys here treated me with lots of respect. I loved that he didnt try to push any cars on me or take advantage of me because I am a girl. This car has been nothing but good to me. I tell all my friends and family to go to Mike. I got a car for my daughter last week. her first car. nothing fancy. mike recommended a ford Taurus. so we settled on the 2005. he had a few to choose from but it seems we got the most bang for the buck for this one. were happy with the car and happy with the service Mike provided. I would recommend this place to a friend.

I purchased a car from Mike a few weeks ago, and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience at Five Star Auto Center. I was searching for something in my price range and style and I found what I was looking for on craigslist. Prior to this, I had responded to many private listings and visited other car lots, but it seemed like a lot of vehicles were overpriced or just plain junk. That was not the case here. I arrived minutes before they were about to close, but Mike was nice enough to stay later to show me the car. I came to look at the car and take it for a test drive and I was so happy with it that I put a deposit on it that day. I came back a few days later to finalize the sale and pick my car up.Everything went smoothly and Im very satisfied with my purchase.Thank You Mike!

I wouldn’t buy from them ever again my suv look nice on the outside. But was a piece of garbage on the inside 6 months of only having the car the engine died and a few other things as well. I put so much money into the car that a bought from this place. That I end up just buying a brand new car. I had to sell the suv that I bough from this place for less then a 1,000 i was beyond mad. So if u can afford to save your self the trouble don’t buy from them. Unless u like buying a car every year. Best of luck with your search.
Nice selection of quality used cars. Mike the salesman was very helpful from the beginning to the end even helping me find the cheapest insurance. Ive had my car now for 4 months with no issues. I will definitely be back when Im ready for my next car.

I am a student and dont know about cars and a friend said ask any dealer if you can take the car to your machanic shop and see how they react I went to two dealers before five star and both freaked out at me. I was going home after that but I saw five star and I stopped by when I asked mike that question he saidhe can come here or you can take the car to him. When I heard that I new this was the place.thank god I stopped by ,because by the end of the day I was driving a new 2015 Chrysler 200
So i have been searching for a car for about a week i really just needed a cheap reliable car to get me back and forth to school work home you wont believe how hard is to find at least a decent dealership every dealership i went to never even gave me the time or even cared as soon as i said i only had 500 to put down on a car until i met mike and mike i walked in told them my situation and they were on it i have never seen anybody work so hard they must have called the bank like 20 times but they did it they got me in my 2015 dodge dart and i couldnt be happier!! i wish i knew how to thank you guys but you guys told me to just tell my story.
Walked into this lot not knowing if I’m going to buy a car or not. I ended up driving out with a new car with the best deal possible and traded in my old car!!!They really took care of me there. They FINANCE and WARRANTY! I had a great experience here. Prices are the best in town. I recommend anyone wanting to buy a used car to come and shop at 5 star auto!
Excellent experience! Went in to look at a specific vehicle I saw online and ended up buying one I liked better. Told him my budget and he showed what he had in my price range. Never pushed me towards pricier options. The one I bought was actually $400 less then the one I went to look at. Ill def be a return customer.
I walked into five star to look at a cars and see what my options are for when I get my tax money. Abe walked out a big smile and greeted me. We walk around the lot and he gave me all the prices and miles on all the cars I was interested in. We walked around for about 30 minutes and by the end I saw a nice 14 impala with only 56000 miles. Hi fellow google users so usually i never write a review unless its going to be a bad one but today i had to do it i had to write a good review for these guys. i had gotten in a car accident last month (got hit by a drunk driver)and totaled my car so i needed a new one and i needed one fast so i was looking up online where can i find a good reliable dependable cheap car and than five star auto center just popped up after reading some of their reviews i decided to go take a look at their website and i was very impressed all their cars they had for sale had detailed pictures and all the info that was needed like the Vin and so forth anyway i found a car i fell in love with a 2009 Chevy Malibu so i decided to go on in and see it mind you i had no intention on buying it that day the first thing i saw was this very happy young man with a great big smile come out and shake my hand and introduced himself as mike this young man was such nice guy he was detailed about EVERYTHING and was very nice to deal with i was so impressed with the car and mike i decided to go to my bank and get the money and buy the car and have not regretted it at all the owner whose name is also mike was extremely nice and professional i must say that this is buy far the best expriance i have ever had buying something thank you mike and mike. see you guys soon when i come and get my daughter a car
If I could give this place less than one star I would. I saved my money and spent $5000 on a Dodge Journey. This was in March. I’ve literally driven it 5 times! The brakes that they supposedly fixed caught fire and seized up, the transmission is gone and the shocks are shot! Luckily I bought the warranty because shortly after they “fixed” the crank case the starter went out. I took it somewhere else to fix cause I didn’t trust them at all. Mike is a pompous ass, who knows nothing of customer service. My husband and I placed a complaint with the FCC and the BBB. They do not stand by their cars. I even asked them if I could trade the car after 2 days of buying it and they told me they had nothing available! So basically I have to start all over again saving money for another car. Luckily I still had my old car that I switched the plates for and I still have something to drive so I can get to work and my kids to school.Never buy anything from them. They don’t stand behind their cars at all!!!
Great customer service, they are very patient and work really hard to get you in the car of your choice. Even with bad credit, they can still get you into an awesome car! See Mike if you go visit, he will look out for you and get you a good deal.
I bought a decent car from them. Has some minor issues that I was unaware of at the time of purchase but they have good customer service.*******UPDATE*****I previously rated them 4 stars but I have a major issue now. They told me to bring my car up there whenever I need work done so I did for my front brakes. A couple months later something was wrong with my front passenger side and since I just got my brakes done I thought it was something else. DEAD WRONG. Turns out they NEVER put both brake pads that I bought on they just put one side on!!! I am thoroughly disgusted and disappointed!!! NEVER AGAIN!
I would give this place zero stars! never would I advise anyone to shop here, I brought a car here to exchange Mike the owner told me he would give me 1,800 for the car towards a new vehicle, But he still told the credit company he was selling it to me full price so I took a lost , 4 months into driving my truck I had to pay over $400 getting it fixed its been almost two years and every month Ive had it I have to get something fixed I was never offered a warranty and when I called he always offered to fix the car for half the price, again,I would never advise anyone to shop here
Sold me a “lemon” for over $3k WITH my trade-in then gave me and my mother his word that he would replace my car when it broke down for equal or lesser value. It has been 8 months since I first bought my car and we have been getting the run around ever since. We have maintained and called him at least twice a month. Each time we call, it’s the same excuse and it does not seem like we will ever get what was agreed to. It’s like he expected us to eventually give up and not hold him to his word. I am a student at Michigan state and about to have a baby, I spent my last to get this car and have lost my job because I did not have a car. It’s very unfortunate that I had to go through this and I would not recommend buying a car from this place
Saw these guys on offer up. I messaged mike and he replied quickly. I thought it would be funny business because of what happens online and Craigslist... but I came in and check out what they had. they let me take my time. I went got my mechanic to be safe and he was impressed by the car. I drove it home same day. knock on wood, no issues yet just did an oil change last week. im happy with their services and cars.
I purchased a beautiful 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis Ultimate edition last week I had an unexpected trip and my little 94 Honda civic wouldnt have made it all the way to Chicago much less brought me back when I told mike about my predicament not only did he recommend the grand marquis for comfort and drivability he was upfront that it had a v8 motor and that fuel mileage would be a big difference from my civic. but after taking the trip and coming back I dont know why I settled for a smaller car before. really loved the drive and my mother and I felt much safer taking this trip. He told me it was tuned up oil changed and READY TO GO which it was. REALLY REALLY Happy with my experience.
They sold me a truck that they knew the transmission was going out. I simply asked for everything to be looked at and I was told everything was fine. They check out everything and it was all good to go. Haven’t had the truck a month yet and the transmission is out. Will not recommend nobody to buy a car from them.
One of my best experience there, I went there with 3000$ budget to pick a vehicle but luckily I didn’t find any because it turned out that they do have finance too so I applied there and they hooked me up with a nice 2014 Chevy Malibu and worked my deal out and did their best to give me the best deal and the lowest monthly payment they can do eventhough my credit score is bad but they took a good care of me, everything was clear and well explained, customer service was great, very friendly, the only issue I had and they told me about was the cracked windshield, but they send me to someone to get it fixed for free and it didn’t take more than 10 mins. I would highly recommend this place.
I bought my ford edge 2008 exactly two weeks ago on Feb 09,2018 and two weeks later i’ve had it taken to mike more than 3 times to get it fixed and until now i’m having the same issue and nobody at mike’s knew the main problem altough he made me pay $200 to replace the alternator thinking it was the main issue. Mike promised that the car had no issues and it was a clean car. I would not reccomend anyone to buy a used car from this place. I will take my car to another mechanic because my car isn’t working now and power went off! Probably i will end up paying even more than $200 to get it repaired and im only a college student that cannot afford to continuously keep on paying for repair on a car i just bought two weeks ago! I don’t know why you promise people that you have super clean cars and you definitely DON’T!
Purchased a Nitro from Mike. The best decision because he worked with me. There were minor repairs that had to be made but he took care of them promptly. I recommend Five Star Auto for your next used car selection and talk to Mike. A very satisfied customer.
Came across five star auto online and saw they did $500 down financing. Ive been to a few places that said that and they always say i dint qualify or what not and I need like $1500 or more down. I called and talked to mike. he asked me some questions and I filled out an application online and I actually got an Impala with only $500 down! and i drove off! wasnt none of that extra for plates or none of that. i gave him $500 signed the deal and drove my car home!
Very low first impressions. I followed a craigslist ad to this place to check out some cars. First thing I noticed is that the lot was filled to the brim with cars. Yes, its a car dealership, but were talking a relatively small lot filled to the brim with used cars. This wouldnt have been a problem if customers could only go in one at a time, but obviously thats not the case. The biggest factor of this negative review is that the price they advertised on craigslist was actually lower than the price they tried giving me at the actual dealership. For me, this is a huge red flag, and it made me want to get out asap.They were nice enough though, but Ill steer clear.
I just bought a brand new 2013 Ford Fiesta and I love it!!! Im a senior at high school and this car was the perfect match. All the people that worked at Five Star Auto Center were all so respectful and great at their job. I enjoyed coming here because they had many choices from many amazing quality vehicles. This place sales nothing but salvaged lemons! The owner (Mike) has a very nasty attitude and cares more about rigging cars to make a dollar rather than satisfying his customers! You are guaranteed to have issues. Buying a car should never be a nightmare! Scamming at its finest! RUN!!!! Oh, and the 500$ down program.,, forget about it! You’ve been warned!

I called letting you know your plates are in and you tell me everything is great and your happy! a week later I see this review without getting a call from you or anything! battery was replaced maybe it had a bad cell or something but it was UNDER WARRANTY! we would have done it for FREE had you told us before you went and got it done. This is a clear attempt at ruining my reputation by bad mouthing us. I run a professional business and have been in business for over 6 years and 2 years at this Greenfield location. I have never had a problem like this before. She purchased a vehicle from us in January and about 2 weeks later her breaks began to squeak which is typical for a used car which has over one hundred thousand miles on it. We offered to change the break pads for her on the condition that she pay for the parts whereas we would offer her free labor, but angrily refused and left. Nearly a month and 15000 miles later (YES 15 THOUSAND MILES IN 2 MONTHS) she calls and informs me that her motor is making noise. After a discussion regarding the matter I informed her that the car was sold AS-IS and it had been 2 months since we sold it and in addition 15,000 miles. All things considered I, as the owner, was willing to help her with the repairs. She told me her repairs were estimated to be $1200. We offered her half the price on the repairs, whereas she would pay us $600 and we would cover the rest of the repairs even though we were not responsible, we felt that it was the right thing to do. She originally agreed to this. The next day she called us in the morning and said she refused to pay and would rather I pay the entire cost of $1200 to her and she would repair the car elsewhere. Otherwise, she threatened to take me to court. I declined and she took us as (FIVE STAR AUTO CENTER) to court. The judge was quick to throw out her case because the car was sold as-is. She later threatened me personally and my business in the court room and was removed by the bailiff. Two days later her boyfriend came to shop asking if I was still willing to pay her the $600, which I found quite humorous after all that had transpired. I declined that as well. She is not a responsible car owner. She never changed her oil in 15,000 miles and was responsible for the problems that happened to the car. If we are what she says we are, we would not have been PROUDLY serving the metro Detroit area for over 7 years! Thank you and have a great day!

Read some online reviews and liked what I read. I gave them a shot after years of bad experiences with bad dealers. They showed me what they had to offer, were not pushy and got me in the right car. Im done looking for a used car dealer. This is my destination for any future car or service. These guys (Mike and joe) will take care of you.
They are non professional liars. My daughter purchased a car from them this Wednesday and Thursday morning which is today the transmission fluid was leaking. Malek an Mike has lied to her several times about everything pertaining to the 2010 Sebring she purchased. Do not buy a car from this place at all. They take the fluids out so they wont leak on the lot and the customers will see the leaks. They are liars and thieves my daughter worked hard to get her car to get her and her daughter around who just so happens to be a severe asthmatic and has to go to the hospital often.
I needed a motor for my car and I was unaware they do motor work and Big mechanic jobs. I was with a friend who was picking up her plates from them and though id ask and im glad I did! they Beat my previous estimate and offered FREE towing. picked up my car the next day and got it ready in 2 days! Gave me a warranty on the work. Im happy I came across these guys. true 5 stars! thanks
My freind recommended me to come see Mike for a car. I told him what i was looking for and left him a deposit to find me my car. Within days he called me to show me the car he was getting me and i was in love! Few days later i was driving off the lot with my BMW M6!!! Thank you

I visited Five Star Auto Center back in December of 2014 to buy a car Customer service was excellent they have very friendly service and I will buy my wife a car from there as well. Make sure you ask for Joe or TJ, they will help you, they are very nice and patient. They have a mechanic on site that checks all cars.

I cant help you if you dont being the car in for my mechanics to look at it. I wish you would have brought it. and ps nour is my sister she actually did buy a car from me. in fact she bought 2.
I was had money cash money to buy a car I was interested in one specific car but it was older and had some issues and they had several of those cars on the lot in my price range yet they pushed me to try to buy the specific car that was more rusted and older and they had several with the same amount of mileage newer and in better condition they arent looking out for the customer the looking out to get rid of what they need to get rid of. I really wish they would have offered me other options other cars because they have a great idea of you know customer service and if you can afford insurance on the older cars they will help work on it free labor only pay for parts so I was looking forward to buying a car here Im disappointed.
I purchased a Buick Rendezvous from the Dearborn location. These guys are the truth! The customer service and family feel is the 1st thing that you will notice right away. The staff from the owner, salesman, mechanics etc all go above and beyond to be sure you dont leave unless you are as satisfied as possible. Theres a wide selection here and at their other location, but I love the Dearborn team! Very disapointed ! ..I bought a 2008 buick on Jan 28 2016 ..I ask them put new battery in before purshasing it.They agreed... They even toook in garage . I kept asking if they put new battery in .They said yes pulled garage even want picture of me for website .Saying i got great deal !!...week half later .My car would not start.!!! Sure enough took it in .It needs new battery !..it cost me 200 dollars!!! ..I got screwed maybe im to nice or women ... I def dont recommend buying car here... They lie.. I learned my lesson never buy a car here.I bought used vehicles before no one ever screwed me like this.

Hey I brought a 2005 Aveo from this place on the 24th of August with a promise that the car would be road worthy meaning no check engine lights, fluids topped off, spare tire among other things I came to pick the vehicle up and it’s nasty, check engine light on, and no coolant. I turned around to let them know what was going on and all they did was cleared the light and sent me on I called back they took the vehicle back in and said it was sensor lights and I had to pay I did then I took the vehicle back home and the lights went out. I had to pay somebody else to fix the electrical wiring in the car and now the car has stopped on my Son who is away at Michigan State I would not reccamend a dog to even guard to watch these raggedy cars Do not waste your money...

Gave me a great deal on a 3rd row vehicle insurance and tags and plates I’ve been to a lot of bad car dealerships but they physically inspect these vehicles fix anything wrong and then sell for a great price cars have great mileages for the years of the car if your in greenfield go to these guys don’t waste your time anywhere else

One of my great experience there, I got from them a 2017 Nissan Versa SV 3 Months ago when they first got it, Mike told me the car comes AS-IS from the Auction and what do you I have to fix with it and everything he was totally honest with me and helped me a lot and I saved thousands of dollars instead of buying it from a random dealer for high price.

This is not a place you want to get a car from he sold me a car that was not put in to my wife name till 2 months later and he didnt do it till i got on his head i had to find a way to get the car out because i didnt have the title till the my wife got out jail and the police said that my plate or my title wasnt in my wife name I had to pay to get my car out and the tickets that she got from that day this is not a good place to get a car and Im going to see you in court mike
Bad business!!They take your info and never reach out after saying its approved.you have to chase them down Apperently they dont want to make money and Im not chasing people to do their job.Took my business elsewhere and came home with a truck the same day!!

2022-05-20Very shady place. I wish i could give zero stats. I was sold a Chrysler 200 that seems like it was thrown together just to make a sell. The doors and their mechanics are trash and falling apart, the leather is cracked and raggedy, the backseat doesnt stay in place, so not safe to drive my kids, and a slew of other mechanical problems. I didnt get to test drive it or see it. Mike didnt mention the fee that the auto lenders charge. He tried to pretend as if he did not know what their process was. He told me one price, put a higher price on paper and then requested an even higher price from the lender. Its a really grimy business and you all should be ware. Should be ashamed of how they take advantage of people, especially when theyre going thru rough times. Wouldnt dare spend another penny in this place.

2022-03-04I don’t think they inspect their cars well enough. I bought a 2007 Buick Lucerne from them and within a week the trans went out on it. I had to pay them 800 to get it fixed which is less than usual trans jobs obviously but….. was a lemon nonetheless. A Year later after they fixed the transmission, my transmission went out on the car. I just gave up on it

2018-02-22I had a pleasant experience buying a used car. It was my first time buying a used car and I was a little reluctant because of the horror stories I hear from people about buying used cars. So I took my time to get to know the people I was dealing with. I told them I was looking for a safe and reliable car because I do a lot of traveling for work. I was also on a budget. I initially called to see a car off their website but they told me they did not recommend it for long travels and recommended a few other cars on their lot. I was in no rush to buy a car. I made multiple trips until they found the perfect car for me. Its been 2 months and I already put about 5,000 miles on it and had 2 oil changes. I am very happy with my purchase. Thanks Mike!
