Comment: What an amazing spectacle this is. So awesome of a place to visit. This really takes your breath WY. This is so magical. April and the first part of May are the best time of the year to visit. Make this on your top 10 choices of tourist destinations in Southern CA. Very serene as well. Right close by to exquisite dining and sensational beach sunsets.

Comment: Carlsbad Flower Fields are absolutely beautiful! It sits on 55 acres above the Carlsbad Shopping Outlets. I would recommend you park in the lower lot by the Outlets to enjoy all the amenities. They offer a Tractor Tour hop on & off for $8.00, its actually very relaxing. They offer ice cream, kettle corn, and lemonade if you want to sweeten the experience. Lots of photo shoots in sun 👗 dresses!

Comment: A remarkable place to visit, a lot of flowers to see, highly recommend. Brought my entire family, no one was disappointed. However, do recommend visiting the Flower Fields in the morning, more parking available. If morning is not feasible, bring a lot of sunscreen.

Comment: I had a blast here and was surprised by it! I thought there were only the rows of flowers here but they had so many things geared towards the kids. They have a flower maze, a kids park, a butterfly garden, a mining area,a scavenger hunt and a few areas to eat. I was bummed you cant walk between the rows like I remember a long time ago, but it makes sense so people dont destroy the flowers. They have areas a few feet into each row so you can take pictures.I highly recommend going right when they open if you go. You have to pick time slots and there are the fewest amount of people at the 9am timeframe.

Comment: Pictures were taken in mid Mar 2024. The far field flowers were blossom 🌼🌸🌼🌸. It was great to be there early 9:30 AM, when not too many people arrived around 11 AM. And mid Mar is good because its not too crowded, but only half of the field blossoms.

Comment: Really nice floor plans in a luxurious lush setting used to make this rental condo community a great place to live. But the service and maintenance has declined noticably since the property was bought by Greystar. Rents raised maximum possible in California (thank goodness there are renter protection laws or rent would have gone up $700 or more instead of $300).My washing machine was flooding my unit New Years Day and I called the emergency number twice and left very detailed messages. Nobody ever came and no one ever checked back to see what shape the floor was in or if it leaked downstairs to the neighbors condo. If I hadnt had a friend with a plumber brother-in-law visiting for the holidays, there could have been a whole lot of water around here. But they dont care. The security is no longer in evidence and people park wherever they want because the parking here is abysmal; itty bitty spots, very few guest spots, and hardly any handicapped spots. They stopped heating the pool and took away the net on the tennis court. It has become a dog park here too. Used to only be little breeds but now there are German Shepard and even larger dogs and many of them.I used to love this place but it is just not the same. It is very sad.

Comment: Such a colorful, cheerful and visually appealing place to visit. A bit of a drive for those of us living outside of San Diego county, its well worth the trek. They often have live music to enjoy, as well as performances and demonstrations. The ice cream and Dole Whip is a crowd favorite and the fresh popped kettle corn is better than any fair popcorn Ive tasted. The permanent food trucks are tasty and the ride-on-off trailer is great to take you around the perimeter of the fields. Remember this is only open seasonally (March through May), so plan accordingly.

Comment: This review has been on my mind for a bit. Ive been living here for a little while now and I have to say I love it so much. The community is amazing and the grounds are well taken care of. Huge shout out to Nate for helping me get settled. He was super informative, friendly and made me feel very welcome and at home right from the start. So why not 5 stars you ask? Because of Angie. She is the other person that works in the office and any newcomers (and quite frankly current residents) should steer clear of her by any means necessary. She is the most unpleasant property manager I have ever had the displeasure of working with. If you love straight up aggressive phone calls and borderline harassing emails, then shes your gal. She is the one reason I might not consider living here in the future. Im not sure why she is in this line of work because she is so off-putting and downright rude. If she had been the one to initially show me the apartment I would not be living here today.Im writing this review from my misc email because I am scared of what she might do if she knew I was writing this review. But I feel it would be dishonest to not give newcomers a heads up.So pro-tip to all potential future residents:STAY AWAY FROM ANGIE! Only speak with Nate if you are able.Keep in mind she is always watching you from her desk in the office. I know other residents who actively avoid her as well. Its an ongoing conversation Ive had with several of my neighbors. If Angie ever leaves (a girl can dream) then I would definitely bump this review up to 5 stars.Id like to end this on a positive note so heres a big ol THANK YOU to Nate. He is amazing and I really appreciate how above and beyond he goes in making new residents feel welcome and safe. Truly a man that knows how to treat people right.

Comment: This apartment complex is the worst place to live. My daughter had a one year lease and finally moved out in June. The noise is unbearable and she found herself unable to work remotely and attend class. The gardeners come and start work at 7:00 with leaf blowers outside your window. They have continuous water/piping/parking lot projects going on all hours of the day with so much noise and worker swearing loudly outside your window. When she moved out she was surprised to find out that over 20 pairs of shoes and her headboard were ruined by mold. The manager said that she should have left her windows open. There is no fan in the bedroom or bathroom and they will not do anything about her loss again. The new manager Angie will not discuss anything with you and hang up on you if you ask any question that she doesnt like. Soooo, if you are looking for noise, rudeness, and mold ruining all of your belongings move to Flower Fields Apartments.....

Comment: Distracted by the beauty and all the different colors, intoxicated by the smell of fresh flowers and overwhelmed by the crowd of people. If you take away anything from this post, let it be this: There are 5 acres of fields, 5 ACRES walk along the bottom path away from the crowd and you’ll get those pictures that look like your the only ones there. Each row has designated photo opportunities (you can not walk through the flowers) benches and tractors throughout for photos. In my opinion the tractor ride for $6 is a waste, if you can walk you’ll enjoy it so much more.Tickets are sold on line onlyParking is free and there are a couple different lots allow time to find parkingTram ride $6Food was available pizza and a dessert placeFlowers are for saleKid friendlyLive music (Sunday)Total time spent 2 hours

Comment: I absolutely love being here. The two maintenance men, Mauricio and Gustavo, are incredibly responsive and always do a great job. Not to mention they’re such nice guys. Debbie no longer works here but she was great as well, made me and my two girls feel right at home. For the price of rent you really do get a lot, especially for being in Carlsbad. I was nearly sold on the in unit washer and dryer alone. The location is also really good, you’re close to so many things, and the neighborhood is beautiful. Not to mention the grounds are kept in great shape. My ONLY complaint is that they’re constantly using leaf blowers. Not only is it a big waste of energy, but it’s just so loud, and it’s an everyday thing. Other than that, this is a perfect place to live and I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon.

Comment: The manager here is the most rudest person I’ve ever talked to. I called to make an appointment to maybe go check out an apartment but this lady named Deborah was aggressive with me about not being able to set an appointment. I decided to go check out the apartments by myself to see if I liked the community itself. I ran into one of their maintenance man named Gustavo and WOW. I can not believe the way this man spoke to me. NEVER again will I step foot on this property. No I am not mad but I am extremely surprised at the way these people spoke to me not friendly at all.

Comment: Renter beware!! We read the reviews and thought we carefully inspected and asked all the right questions - we even requested a few items to be repaired prior to our move in date - when they weren’t we tried to be patient but continued requesting - that should have been our first red flag... we have been here for a few years now, only waiting for our lease to expire while we live mostly in another area - so it wasn’t a cost issue for us, it’s management. While swimming in the pool they hovered over us, while several cars remain parked in the side of the interior (city not private) roads we dealt with unprofessional, rude and undertrained employees... kind until we renewed our lease - difficult to deal with when trying to get a response for items. Therefore simply not worth the price or the hassle.

Comment: Alliance Residential Is THE WORST!!!! I lived there for 2 years. I had multiple water leaks behind the wall. They cut a hole and just left it open!!! There was horrible rust in my water. It ruined dishes and clothes. They wouldnt believe me until one day there was a big flood with a rusty pipe in the wall that burst. And people would walk their dogs literally 2 feet away from my bedroom a.d bathroom windows. One morning when I was getting ready for work and cracked the bathroom window a man actually said good morning to me while his dog was taking a poop. Management told me it was my fault for renting an apartment in a high traffic area....there wasnt even a sidewalk there!!! Tree roots grew I to the plumbing and that was a mess. No A/C and old crappy windows. This property needs a renovation and new management.

Comment: The apartment is nice. I agree with the person about the leaf blowers. I work 3 12 hours shifts a week and the days I would like to sleep in they use the leaf blowers for at least 1 hour or more, and there are still leaves everywhere. This happens all 4 days Im off work. No sleeping in if you live here. Thank God there is always plenty to do in Carlsbad.

Comment: Once again woken up at 740AM by LOUD leaf blowers !!! Honestly, how many times a week do they really need to blow the leaves around ? The leaf blower machines they use are so loud they drown out my TV from 100 ft away. Sounds like moto-cross bikes racing around. The leaf blowers at neighboring complex are much quieter and they only seem to use them about once a week. I think the maintenance company should be made to either quiet their machines down or get new, quieter ones. Its easy to see why the city of Del Mar has completely outlawed their use as besides being noisy, they kick up dust, dirt and pollen in to the air we breathe.

Comment: We moved into this deluxe rental condominiums 14 months ago. when we moved in the electric worker wrote out that we should not move in because the vent of the dryer was too close to the porch light. also they noted that the hot water heater was needed to be changed as well. we have had nothing but problems with all this. nothing has been fixed. the first rain we had here the master bedroom outside wall started to have the baseboard leak and the carpet began to get wet. we notified the worker of this but nothing has ever been done to our knowledge. mold started growing on the bottom of the wall and has been there for months now. during the summer the outside staircase that is the only entrance to our grown floor unit collapsed and i fell down them. The tenants upstairs even witnessed this and the complex did nothing not even called to see how i was or if I needed to seek treatment. the worker that was working here that day was later fired so her report was never received. they cover up anything and everything negative about this place. I was sitting in the hot tub one day and the grounds worker decided it was a good time to use a leaf blower to blow off the concrete around the hot tub....seriously right in my face. this is a sad outdated place that offers expensive living and headache galore!
