Comment: I really really wanted to like this place. I’m new to the area and I was hoping this would be my new go to shop. The people are nice and the prices are fair, so at first, I wasn’t even going to leave a bad review. But then things went from bad to worse. Here’s my story:I went to this shop for an AC repair on my 2006 Lincoln LS, which they completed and I was grateful. So when I went back about a month later because my left front tire kept going flat and my MPG had been cut in half, I had expected the same level of service. But the whole encounter was one big disaster. When I came to pick up the car they said they couldn’t find any reason why the MPG would be low, and they fixed issues with two other tires not the left front tire. I think they wrote down incorrectly which tire needed to be checked. They also had some of the details of the mpg problem I had described to them written down incorrectly. As I went to drive away the whole car was shaking, wheels wobbling, it was crazy. I got a few blocks away before I realized the problem, my tires hadn’t been tightened back on and were in danger of flying right off. I white knuckled it back to the shop and they confirmed the issue and tightened the tires, but meanwhile I missed my afternoon meeting at work. It freaked me out because what a tire had come off, what if my daughter had been in the car? But even after that I was going to let it go, mistakes happen. A few weeks later I got fed up with the low MPG and went on a Google quest to try to figure it out myself, and guess what, I did! Turns out my battery was almost dead, I replaced it and now my MPG is back to normal. They charged me for an inspection, you would think checking the battery would be part of that but I guess not. Even then I wasn’t going to write a bad review, like I said, mistakes happen. But guess what happened this morning? My left front tire went flat on the way home from preschool drop off, leaving me stranded. I don’t know, all together it just feels like they didn’t listen to me, didn’t take me seriously, I don’t know if it’s because I’m a woman or because they were just having a bad day, but I’m bummed. I’m waiting on the side of the road for the tow truck to take me to another shop, hopefully I’ll have better luck this time.

After having the vehicle for 3 hrs they called me and said they wont touch it because it has wheel spacers, which it didnt say anywhere or told me if it did they would not touch it. I then told them to remove the spacers and they agreed. Called me back 30 min later to say I didnt have the correct hub centric rings for the rear wheels so they could not touch it again! I then told them to just do the front tires and Ill take it somewhere else to finish it. 6 hrs later they finished only two tires. Had to take it to les schwap to install the other two tires. Complete waste of my time. Will never go back here again.

Comment: I purchased a Groupon for an oil change and when I got home not only was I missing a hub cap my boyfriend checked my oil and it was smoking there was only 1 1/2 quarts of oil so we had to add oil immediately after I left. It saddens me because I don’t know much about cars and if I didn’t have my boyfriend I wouldn’t have looked and it would have eventually ruined my engine … so not only did I have to buy new hub caps but I also had to add Oil AND an oil filter … the paperwork they gave me at the end said they changed the oil filter and that wasn’t true because the oil filter my boyfriend previously put on was still there … I drove from rancho Cordova .. so it was just really unfortunate… if you guys don’t want to work at a discounted rate please don’t offer it 💛 thank you for emptying my old oil 💛 take care

Because I didn’t wanna pay 30 dollars for a suspension check I can get anywhere for nothing and I already knew the issue. After waiting an hour the guys came back with only a sheet of paper telling me they can’t align it at all. they said we are gonna charge you for the check when I specifically said I only want an alignment. However, I recently took my vehicle to have its oil changed and tires rotated at Folsom Tire Pros. This was my first experience with this auto shop. During their inspection, they discovered that one of the wheel lugs was damaged and promptly ordered a replacement. When I returned with my vehicle, they uncovered a significant issue – the aftermarket wheel I had been using for nearly a decade was not the right fit. The lugs were difficult to install. The lug/bolt hole pattern differed slightly from what my car required, posing a potential danger of lugs snapping while driving.I had replaced the brake pads at a different repair shop a few months prior to visiting Folsom Tire Pros. But the other auto shop did not discover this issue and probably just forced the lugs in. The owner, Eddie, strongly advised me to replace the wheels on the spot. Because I was unprepared and hesitant, I suggested addressing the matter at a later time due to budget constraints. Eddie firmly rejected my suggestion, and expressed his concern for me and any other occupant of the vehicle safety. He refused to allow me to drive away with the incorrect wheels. After a series of discussions where I reiterated my need to replace the wheels another time, Eddie took matters into his own hands. He made multiple phone calls and swiftly secured a replacement wheel that matched my cars specifications. He sent out one of his team member to pick up the wheels and personally oversaw its installation along with tires.Although this occurrence might be an isolated instance, as it involved a zero-cost resolution (He just gave me the key and did not ask for a single dollar), the main point remains that Eddies dedication went far beyond my expectations. He definitively demonstrated his concern for customer safety and well-being. I am not only impressed by the their attention to detail but also by the genuine care shown for customers and their safety. It is evident that Eddie and his team are committed to providing exceptional service at an affordable price point.As a result of this experience, Folsom Tire Pros will now become my preferred choice for any vehicle-related issues or repairs. I highly recommend them for your auto services.

They were kind, the inspection price was definitely fair, I just expected to receive more information than what was provided and because of that I opted to not have the repair. Told shop if alignment could not be done to not install new tires. I had both my rear tires collapse; car began swerving and then made it to the shoulder where I gained composure, called a tow and made my latest appearance at Folsom Tire Pros.I made my request for 2 new rear tires and after some back and forth, secured two new Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4’s. Recently I went there and asked the owner a specific question about a specific brand of tires. Because of my wheel size, most places couldnt accommodate me unless i got my jeep lifted. Comment: My overall experience was good. They kept me well informed and got busy on my car right away without delay. As far as I can tell they did a good job with the issue at hand. My only reservation is the price which seemed overly expensive for the work that had been done. They charged me $75 to discover what I had already told them was the problem. Although they did take it a step further and informed me of all the other problems I had going on which honestly was helpful. Until he told me how much he would charge to fix it. So to replace the struts in the front, replace the rotors in the front, new spark plugs and valve cover gasket, alignment, and all the little things that go along with performing all those procedures came out to be something like $4300. I paid $4200 for the car which runs like a dream minus the minor problems caused by the formentioned. In conclusion as I said overall experience was great, they were friendly, kept me a breast of everything that was going on, completed in a timely manner, actually it was quicker than I anticipated, everything was great it was just the price. But you get a warranty and excellent service so I guess you get what you pay for which is why I gave them 4 out of 5 stars. Thank you guys very much for your hard work I will be returning to complete the rest of the work once I can afford it.

Comment: I brought my minivan in again for two new tires. My last purchase was in 2019 and 50,000 miles ago so it was time to replace them. I had 4 of my kids and my beagle with me. I let them know up front that I had limited time before I needed to go pick up my other two kids and they said it would take 1.5 hours and theyd call me as soon as it was done. I walked with my kids to John Kemp park to pass time with my other kids. After an hour and a half it was nearly time to pick up my other kids and Folsom Tire still hadnt called but we started walking back so wed be there when it was ready. When we walked up, we saw that the car was already done and parked in their lot. They never called!!! I ended up being ten minutes late to pick up my other kids because they didnt follow through and call like they said they would. Im glad they were able to get us in and taken care of but they messed up on the follow through. 😥

Comment: They didn’t actually do anything to the alignment aside from set my toe. They didn’t touch camber or caster, which is 99% of the actual alignment work. Basically did a “toe and go” job for me. $129 fo 35 minutes of work! I do not recommend this place. Will have to go to a real shop for proper alignment adjustments. What a waste of my money, I hate dishonest shops that basically steal ones hard earned money! I mean really $129 dollars at 35 minutes, I knew something wasn’t right, especially when he told me it would take 2 hrs. 👎🏻

Comment: I phoned Tire Pros, I got an appt for 30 min later. A lug bolt was striped on my wheel, and I need it replaced. They asked me if I knew how it broke. They took my car in and just after an hour passed, I received a text msg that my car was ready. There was no sales pitch that my tires need to be replaced, or I need a wheel alignment. Tire Pros fixed my car, handed me a bill and sent me on my way!The day before my car was at a competitors shop, where the tires were purchased. That shop had my car for 6 hrs, and didn’t phone me until 5:50 pm, to tell me my car ready for pick up. They said my tires need replacement, and wheel alignment. I said, I needed the bolt replaced. Do you change out that bolt? He said I need to schedule appointment. But you took my car in without telling me I needed the appointment, or I wouldn’t have left it. Then he said they needed authorization for the charge. I said i wanted that bolt replaced, that authorizing all you should have needed. Not going there again.

I was nervous to go in by myself to a new shop being a woman and all, but they didnt price gouge me and they took the time to explain what they were doing and answer all of my questions without being condescending in the least bit. After a couple tried jumping it with no luck, i called AAA (45+ minute wait time) so I also posted my situation online, as I had my 4 children with me, one which is a baby. **this was after hours & businesses were closed**A woman sent her bf to help. He immediately saw that the battery was leaking all over the inside under the hood area, & said I need a new battery. He actually went to the store for me & installed a new battery while my children & I waited.I later found that this man, Woody works at Folsom Tire Pros, so after my court case is over, I will be taking my vehicles to this business, as their customer service FAR EXCEEDS the norm.Bottom line, take your vehicle here, as ANY business that employs people who go above & beyond when not on the clock, is the type of business we want to support!***short back history***: Im in a bitter court case with my ex who took my vehicles (he owns a used car dealership so he was smart when keeping MY cars in his dealers name, so he could retain ownership), hence having to wait for court, and our case has been rescheduled twice already.

A true gem of America’s dream promise to get’er done as quickly as possible with the customer’s best interests foremost.I had a chunk of road debris shred the inner sidewall of a virtually brand new radial, was able to limp into the Folsom Tire Pro. As busy as they were they got my Jeep up and tire off, assessed the ruination and swapped out the spare, bagged my wheel and repacked my cargo space, all in about the same time its taken me to jot this review. Oh yeah, then sent me on my way at absolutely no cost... I will be working with this incredible team again. Comment: These guys are awesome, best price & service around the town. Eddie and Chris are very nice. Very fair, honest, no hidden costs, they suggest good stuff but they do not oversell stuff. I found them while I was trying lot of shops in town to fix my flat tire, only this shop said they can fix, all others asked me to replace tires, all 4 as mine is AWD. Thats when found them and Eddie got the flat tire fixed. Since then I go to them for all services. Very recently, I went to breaks replacement during, and they found engine oil needs top up, they did it complimentary. I strongly recommend this shop if you are looking for one.

Comment: This place is fantastic. Their service is impeccable, their prices on tires beats even Costco price. I was all set up for new tires at Costco and on a whim, on my way home just thought I would see what the same quality tire would cost me from here. I was pleasantly surprised to find a little better grade tire for about $100. less than Costco price. Costco had me scheduled for the following week. Tire Pro did the job the next day. They could have done my job the first day I was there if they would have had my tire in stock. They ordered my tires that first day and done the very next day. No added anything. Price and job went as said. I couldnt be happier.

Comment: Just purchased a car off the lot and within a week took it in to Folsom Tire Pro to put new wheels on it. When I got home I noticed the center cap was missing. When I called them the owner said, “Oh ya, my technician showed me this and I thought you already knew.” I said no I know it was there when I brought it in and why didn’t you come tell me to confirm!?! Later on that evening I noticed my tire information light came on. They lie, will scam you into paying for more stuff and his technician are slow and do sloppy work. I refuse to go to this place again!! Not a good look for Folsom business

Comment: I’m giving 2 stars because at least externally they were nice And they changed my oil. I went in for oil change and tire rotation. I paid $30 extra for AC check.they came back with a ridiculous quote for AC. $920 compressor plus 2.5 hours labor which my mechanic back home replaces a compressor for $50-60, and then $180, replace the condenser at $350 plus $225 labor... so bad. Then the worst of it they wanted to charge me $48.15 for a filter for the battery on my hybrid that is like 4 inches by 6 inches, paper filter.... $48. But at least they didn’t charge me for labor on that 😂 since a child could do it. These people are a rip. Their business strategy is to be nice upfront, do easy things cheap and then when they gain your trust, they rip you a new one.

They not only got my car in fast, but also fixed it very fast. I dont buy some comments about them ripping off because not only they did not try to trick me in selling new tire (which some others have done) but fixed the flat tire for free!!This is not the first time. In past they have accomodated my emergencies even few mins before closing time, diognised my problems for free, helped reset the indicator lights for free and more.Thank you guys..You guys are great model for customer service..👍👍

Comment: Added 6 months later. They must have put my bearing in wrong because one day out of nowhere my wheel and hub almost feel off while driving. The only thing holding it on was the brake caliper which ruined it and my brake disk which was almost brand new. Im warning you guys if you want to stay safe on the road dont use these guys.A while back I went in to get my alignment done on my minivan and they told me my outer tie rod was going bad and said it needed to be replaced. They said the machine wouldnt even perform the test to check the alignment. I didnt really get how that worked since the tie rod is checked by raising the tires off the ground but I took their word for it and replaced them myself. They looked fine when I replaced them so I was not impressed to say the least. My next experience was at a different location when I needed my alignment done and the lady at the front desk tried to tell me that subarus (my new car) always come out of alignment and I would have to pay the whole price even though there is a six month warranty. I talked them into just checking it and telling how it looked. It was fine (I do understand it was a different store but still similar poor almost bully tactic customer service). My next experience was when I brought in my knuckle to have the bearings taken out and a new one pressed in. I walked in and one of the first things that happened at the front desk was they told me I picked a lousy bearing. I asked if they had a different one and they didnt. Look I made the decision on what bearing to buy and if you dont have a better one dont go telling me what a horrible option it is. It was the best of the few I had. Secondly I was told it would be done by closing and it wasnt done until the next day. This was frustrating since I had places to be that night and had to figure out other ride arrangements. I am grateful that they where able to press the bearing in but I choose my shops based on the feel I get from the mechanics and the front desk and I can tell you I wont be coming back. I would rather pay a little more and know Im getting an honest answer than save some money and get treated poorly.

Comment: Nathan and Eddie are a couple of good guys. I needed to have my tires checked for rebalancing and were rebalanced. The tires are the Bfgoodrich KO2, LT285/75/17, load range E, with only 26,129 miles on them and with 90% Hwy 10% dirt road with my 2013 Ram 2500 SLT 4X4. Ill likely buy new tires in a couple of months due to about 75% wear. When that day comes (couple of months), I will be back at Tire Pros for new tires but NOT the same.

Comment: Excellent service with speed and accuracy. I visited them today for my car wheel alignment job and was given an estimation of 45 minutes wait. They were nice to ask ride back to office or work was very courteous. I prefer to stay. I was offered coffee. One staff member Mr. Eddie walked up to me after half an hour and said Sir, your car is ready. I was surprised by their speed and at the cashier Mr. Nathan was very courteous and respectful and offered $10.00 discount on top was icing on the cake. I would recommend all to give these professionals a chance to work on your car and see the difference. Hats off to the entire staff at Folsom Tire Pros. They stand by their name. 5 Stars to them. Comment: Loved it. They were honest and even saved me $1,200 from what the competitors quoted. Everyone Said it was something major and Tire Pros said that’s just what the Computer says, sometimes it’s just the senors are blocked and sure enough it was an oil blockage and their honesty saved me money! They called every step before they charged me anything else and STILL saved me money and explained it it was important now or could wait a few weeks, knowing I was a single mom. I am truly impressed!!!!I’d recommend them to anyone. They did not take advantage of the fact that I knew very little about cars and they did not take advantage of the fact that I was a single woman nor did they take advantage that I just got my tax refund. I loved their customer service and their integrity. I was able to pay other bills down, not just pay for my clunky car.

Comment: I took my car in for an alignment and oil change. The gentleman whom I believe was the manager was great and gave me a great deal as they had specials going on both services and gave me the discount on both where other shops would have made me choose one or the other. We dropped it off, he said it would be ready by 3, we arrive to pick up the car about 3:30 and they had just started on it. I voiced my frustrations with the manager whom promised me the time and could see I was frustrated. I had to leave and come back but when I came back without me even say anything he told me due to my inconvenience he was doing it for no charge. There are so few shops out there that still truly care about customer service, and though I was grateful for him offering me to do it at no charge I had so much respect for the fact that I did not have to say a word, and that goes a long way with me and I insisted on still paying bit he would only let me pay for 1/2.I was married to a mechanic for a long time and know that there are so many shops out there that take advantage of you. This shop I will use for any services that they are able to do for my vehicle from here forward.My alignment was the best that has ever been done and drives like brand new. Comment: Took my car here for a replacement CV. They promised it would be done by a certain time and kept pushing the time back until well after the promised time and date. I did a transfer case service that was recommended by them to fix a leaky seal and when I received my car back, not only was it still leaking, but the transfer case was locked, and unable to be unlocked. This will require more time in the shop, and more downtime.They might be okay for oil changes and tires, but dont trust the techs for any more than that.

The name is misleading, as this is a full service mechanic shop, not just a tire place. I have had them tell me that I didnt need certain procedures in order to save me money, or send me to other shops if they werent the right place. Comment: My experiences with Tire Pros in Folsom have been very positive. Recently my Avalon was overheating so I took it in and Eddie at Tire Pros was very accommodating. They diagnosed the problem as a stuck thermostat, so they replaced it and flushed the system. Unfortunately, the overheating problem returned a few days later. I took the car back to Tire Pros and they found a blockage in the radiator. Eddie replaced the radiator at his cost since I had to come back with the same problem. Although Tire Pros didnt fix the problem at first, they were understanding and didnt charge me twice for labor on the same problem.

Comment: Liars. I was having issues with my air conditioning. The car would blow cold air for 10 minutes, then warm air for 10 minutes and back to cold. I read up on the issue and it appeared the system needed to be charged. I brought my car to Folsom Tire Pros and asked for an AC service after explaining my problem. They inspected the vehicle and called me with an estimate. $852.00 because the AC compressor was needing to be replaced, the belt was worn and the system would need to be charged. I told them no and picked up my car after paying $30 inspection fee.I took the car to another local shop and told them what was wrong and what Folsom Tire Pros said. After their inspection, they were amazed to find the compressor was completely fine. As was the belt. The second shop charged the system and everything works perfectly now. $60 out the door.Folsom Tire Pros is another dishonest, rip you off, repair shop that should not be used by anyone. People work hard for their money and this place tries to steal it from you.
