It was a nice outing but a bit different from how it use to be . Food being sold from the concession was cold even though it was very very cheap . Lines for the concession was stupid rediculous you had to go and get food or snacks from a nearby store but over all it was nice no acts of violence no arguments everyone was just enjoying the environment and each other and again it was very inexpensive and very nice weather and nice movies .
Its $26 per car which is a bit pricey for a single person but for a family I cant think of a better deal. They even have WiFi now, so if your radio doesnt work you can just play it through your phone. They have new movie and old double features.I got take out for my favorite restaurant and watched the new Dr strange movie. Which was a fun date night! The staff is friendly and if your lights on your car are on they will help you turn them off if you dont know how like meee haha oh well. But 10/10 would go again.
It was amazing as usual lol.We had a great time and now instead of per person They just charge one price for a carload π.There was a real nice gentlemen who helped with my headlights which i could not get to turn off so he taped (with blue tape) black garbage bags over them worked great .I would like to thank the theatre for such great hospitality and service they made our night memorable .β€β€β€β€β€
Thanks to the pandemic, this was my first trip to a movie in six months and I couldnt have been happier. Despite the obvious benefits of sitting in your own vehicle, the on-site facilities/concession area are also exceptionally clean and well maintained and at no point did anything feel like a health risk. The staff was helpful and all wearing masks properly (no chin straps with noses and mouths still exposed.) Not only will I continue to visit but will strongly recommend it to everyone I know.
Trouble went for their 72nd anniversary the staff wasnt ready stood in the line foe 3 hours when I finally get up there the manager had the nerves to say please be patient with him& his staff hell I thought I was been patient without been ask do I want so water or anything, then on top of that didnt even watch the movie cause I was in line hell I guess u get what u pay for cause I only spent .65 to get in. The next time they have an event they need to be ready.
This is THE destination for family, friends, and a night of movies under the stars with any company you choose. I have thoroughly enjoyed my experiences at the Ford-Wyoming since I was a child viewing films on actual film through the current times as an adult being transported to other worlds, observing the human condition with the sheer magic of motion pictures thrown from a digital projector. The family folks who run this theatre have always been kind, respectful, and accommodating...even more so during their re-opening amidst the pandemic. The Ford-Wyoming Drive-In is a landmark of Dearborn-Detroit, the purest if Michigan, encapsulating a bygone era while embracing the future of movies and delighting the present patrons with a double feature, exquisite concessions reasonably priced. This treasure of a place treats me like one of the family, and I always feel at home here. Please, $pend time at this beautiful place.
Way to expensive so I went to Frenchtown about 35 min away and to my surprise I paid 9 dollars per ticket and I got to see 2 movies jurassic park / top gun maverick concession stand was immaculate also the bathrooms were very clean wouldnt recommend ford Wyoming when you can go to memory lane drive in
Im a local Google guide, I do NOT receive any incentives for my reviews. Theyre strictly my own experiences.I use to LOVE this place. Were going again for the first time since the pandemic this week. A few changes I cant say I enjoy. The website used to be super simple it showed you what your double features were and what times they started its a tad confusing now. Also its usually just me and my 1 daughter who is 7.would cost us around 15$ now its by the vehicle which is 26$. This is probably amazing for some families but disappointing for us small families. Will update once we visit again.Update this will still be one of our favorite places. It seems like they got better projectors or cut down on the light pollution. the video and audio quality is much much better.π
Really fun. first time going to one of these and itβs worth the $30 *JUST MAKE SURE YOU DONT GO TO THE LASST MOVIE SO YOU CAN SEE 2 FOR THE SAME PRICE* also itβs really easy to hear the movie since it comes through your radio. i would recommend taking your kids here!
Really enjoyed taking a date there and although it was like $27 for us to watch the movie it still is probably cheaper than going to the movie theater and you can now tune in the voices of the program right on your car stereo or on your cell phone so it comes in really clear and it comes in consistently for all to hear , and you can keep the windows closed to stay nice and warm. It was pretty cold tonight that we went in almost snowing but you will never know itβs sitting in the truck watching the movie it was a pretty wonderful experience
Great drive in experience!!!!! The concessions take an extra minute but the Popcorn and food is good!!!!! The staff is very receptive and friendly!!! Look a little short staffed so thank you for working and treating the movie goers great!!!!!!! The staff also makes sure no one has lights in your rear window....Just wish they had fountain MT Dewππ
Man comin here sure did bring bac some fun memories! I brought my Son here to experience this gem, he thought it was too cool. It still has the ole school flavor, but very clean and kept, I was very impressed. The consession stand offered more than i could ever imagine it was fast and the staff was nice and friendly. You could tune in from your car or use the speakers provided, (the same speakers, but they still work!). My Son wants to return and so do I. It was a perfect evening to go, it rained a little, but didnt last long, oh yea and we saw some good flicks to with clear vision and sound....#detroitchik @ #fordwyomingdriveintheatre
Check out their Facebook page for current movie listings and times. Listening options are radio stations for each of the 5 big screens, drive-in wi-fi download able app available in Google play or by scanning QR code they hand you at box office gates. Dont want to run your auto motor....rent a speaker for $20 deposit. Play ground area located at Big screen 1Food menu has tons of choices from chicken strips, hamburgers, hot dog, polish sausage to pizza an all the expected movie treats. If planning a wonderful movie night please make sure to trun off your auto headlights and daytime running lights. ( you dont know how or need assistance with turning of lights kindly ask, staff members are happy to help) See you at the movies!
The cashiers are always pleasant! The prices are reasonable and the concession/ food stand is convenient and reasonably priced as far as movie theaters go!And theyre are a ton of GREAT restaurants right across the street: Sonics, Tim Hortons, Culvers and some other places.
Havenβt been to the drive-in in years and i Went here to see Halloween Kills, perfect horror movie for it! Service was quick and they make you tune the radio to hear the movie. Volume comes through clearly and is perfectly lined up with the movie. The only issue I had was a gross sewage smell wafting through.
We came there for the Addams Family 2/Beetlejuice double feature with my 3 year old and my mom. Neither one of them had been there before. They had a great time for the most part. My daughter is still talking about it and its been a couple of weeks!Just a couple points to add:You can bring your own food in! We brought pizza, bread sticks, and popcorn. Its nice to have that option. They also have a snack bar in case you dont bring anything. The listen anywhere app that they want you to download didnt seem to sync with the movie, always being about a second or two behind. Or it would disconnect randomly.I wont fault the drive-in for their guests, but be aware that there are people that just dont care about others and will either leave their lights on, let their kids run wild around the parking lot screaming during the movie, or people with their lift gates all the way up to obstruct others site of the movie. There arent employees anywhere to manage those people (nor should they have to if everyone shared a little respect for others). It did take away from the total experience but we still had a good time.
It was very hard to get into lots of traffic we was an hour late for the movie because of it we stayed for the double feature the snacks were way far away people that did work there dont listen when you order so that was a problem it was fixed was ok not sure if we would return
I love the drive in! The bathrooms were great! They were clean and new, everything looks to be recently updated. The food was good, fries were made fresh and the chili was hot. The popcorn was buttery and delicious.Movie was great. I recommend EVERYONE visit the Ford Drive in Theater!!!!
The staff welcomed my friends and I politely and gave clear instructions on where to go. For the price of the tickets, you get to drive up with a good view of the screen from lots of angles and the show times and movies are all either new or classic older movies. You can easily bring your family, friends or pull up alone to watch and go. Id highly recommend for the novelty experience of drive-in theaters, also for social distancing experiences. Getting out is fairly easy, it could be helpful to have more signs or lights, but that could take away from the movie viewing quality. -getting out isnt really that hard, but for anyones first time might be confusing at first.
Memorable experience! I hadnt been in years, and my grandchildren had NEVER been to the drive in! However, it was a new experience for us all because I was used to the speaker you hang on your car window...NOW you listen via an app on your phone! Wow! This is a memory my grands will cherish and share with THEIR children! The staff were friendly, patient, professional and courteous! Concession staff were professional, chipper and on point. Talk about Respect! Yeah, thats what we watched! π¦
A very fun experience. The sound however is a bit of an issue. Now that the speakers have been removed you have 2 options. Neither is perfect. You can tune to the radio station assigned to your screen but most cars will have to remain running to make this feasible unless you bring an FM radio with you. The other option is to use the wifi through a wireless speaker but that has connection issues such as cutting out and sound not syncing properly with the movie. We went in the late fall so we knew everyone would have their windows closed so we didnt feel too bad letting the car run for a portion of the film but we might have to try to bring a radio next time.
This was my first time to a drive in movie theater and I enjoyed it. I saw the new fast and furious which I thought was good but a little too unrealistic and the new jungle cruise movie which was funny as hell. Ticket prices are pretty good for this place and concession prices are not too bad either. Makes for a fun night out with the family if youre looking for something to do. Definitley recommend this to others.
I havent been to the Ford theater since I was a kid. Ive since moved to California and was home visiting. Im so glad its still here and showing movies. It feels like a literal time capsule and gem to go to only here in Michigan. Concessions were nice, keeping the old building aesthetic, I cant help but think of all the life throughout the years thats come through here. Im so glad I came and saw a double feature tonight. β¨πππππ
I love the drive in! No more window speakers. The sign is now digital and exits are better maintained. They dont stay open as late and the prices have gone up. Same intermission reel...its cute, the first couple of times youve seen it, then it gets a little annoying lol. It would be nice if they stayed open all year. Other than that...its great!
Have an Awesome every time I come. I took My Niece and Nephew, 6 and 4, and they absolutely loved it! They were so impressed with the huge screen, and chillin in the back of the car. I was so happy when I found about this place. I love stuff like this, like things they did or are from back in like My Grandparents day. All around I think. This is just super awesome and such a great idea.
The food at the concession was terrible especially for the rediculus high prices... The nacho and cheese tasted like cardboard the tiny slush had no flavor. For the prices they really need to do better and Have better quality food items. I understand trying to make a buck but wow.
Who doesnt love a classic drive in movie! The Ford Drive In Theater is a classic staple for the community. The price for an adult ticket when we went last night was $10.99. My only negative feedback would be that the speakers that they provide did not allow for the volume to go up too high. I struggled to hear the movie with their equipment so I had to leave my car running and use my radio. Other than that, always a great experience.
Pros: all available theaters were operational, the sound quality was good and the base price was reasonable.Cons: there is a 49-cent surcharge for using a debit or credit card, they are not family friendly; all childrens movies were paired with a horror movie. They had a port a potty but I couldnt find the restroom connected to the concession stand; it was too far away to be seen.
Great way to enjoy a movie on a date or with the family and stay safe from Covid. You get to sit in the privacy of your own vehicle, bring your own food and drinks and relax.Radio sound system works great although it doesnt have the nostalgic speaker box anymore. You may have to be careful with making sure kids stay focused on the movie and not whats going on in other cars though. π Lol
Favorite place from when I was a child, good to see theyre still in business. While I didnt get to hit the concession stand, ticket prices were fair. $12.50 for adults $13 if by credit $5 for children. Audio is available through your car radio for your movie, and depending on which screen will dictate which station you tune to. They also have radios available for a $20 deposit (return the radio, get your money back)
Best driving ever!!!!! So much space I hang out there all night whenever I go to the drive-in movie so much fun customer service people are so funny they will ignore you until its time to come in between 8:00 and 9:00 until its time to come in they will sit right there and act like they dont see you so funny drive-in theater is awesome in the food is good too especially the popcorn!!! Thumbs up
The experience would have been great if people would have turned off their lights all of the cars in front had lights on their tail lights and headlights on if you have a stigmatism youre not able to see the screen. Also their app is glitchy so if youre trying to listen to the sound through a phone that does not work. Other than that I still think its a great place to take a family I just wish they would enforce the headlight and tail light rule
Had a great time seeing the movie Nobody. Like the new audio option. If you havent been to the drive-in in a while. Theyve replaced those old audio boxes you hang from your window with now you tune to a particular local radio station that broadcasts the sound for the movie. Pretty cool. Overall great experience!!
I used ta work here. I LOVED workin here!!!!! Hopefully Ill be back some day!! But with er without me, there have been so many great changes!! Such as, the new digital marquee, two 4k projectors, the newly paved entrance, and the new by car pricing! Clown Cars accepted. LolSincerely yours, The Hoodbilly, Head Sneaker Catcher
We genuinely enjoyed the experience, we could sit in our own vehicle, take our shoes off turn on the radio and watch the movie, my only gripe is the lax attitude to patrons running their headlights, every half an hour or so someone who is unable to sort out their headlight controls turns there car on and off. When the weather is mild its hard to beat and its safer for everyone to avoid the Corona.
I love it here ππ₯° Ive started coming here at least twice a month since the summer last year and its been such a nice escape during this pandemic. I love that they show something old and something new, get a fun little throwback. The bathrooms are so clean and well-lit, not how I was expecting at all.
The actual movie experience was super pleasant, but getting to it wasnt. They say arrive on time, but even getting there 5 minutes early was not enough to avoid missing the first few minutes of our movie. The box office lines are chaos. People are constantly cutting from the street, almost causing accidents. There was an express online ticket line that went unused? And the workers were moving slowly. Just be honest and tell people they need to get there like 15 to 20 minutes early to guarantee they wont miss part of the movie.
I drive a 26 Box truck with a sleeper, I needed to make a delivery the next day, they let me pay the $10.99 and directed me through the exit [Because my truck was too tall for the entrance] so I could watch the movies and told me I could stay all night as long as I wanted And they had restrooms and foodThey have 5 different screens and double features on most or all of them the 1st feature plays twice so you can go between the 5 different theaters watch the 1st feature on one and the 2nd feature and then go to another 1 and watch the 1st feature on Another screen so if you do it correctly you can watch 3 features it was an awesome experience I slept there after everyone else left and made my delivery the next day They were very friendly and Helpful Will definitely return
I have always loved and cherished this Drive In Theatre for so many years. Especially in covid times, this is definitely the place to be. Great concessions, friendly staff, comfortable spacing between cars, and an overall safe area to be at. This is by far the best drive in theatre that I have been to compared to all the others in the state. Please continue to support this place.
We pre-purchased our tickets online wayyyy before we knew anything about the weather and drove all the way there for them to cancel the movie due to weather without even saying anything to anyone. We found out by looking online once we realized the movie wasnt starting. We spent almost $50! They better supply a refund for this cause we cant predict the weather several hours in advance, especially when it wasnt even that bad.
I absolutely LOVE Ford Wyoming Drive In. The one star is only because I go to the movies alone. I am not paying 26.00 to see any movie. Ill miss going but thats ridiculous for one person. Two, ehhh, fine. One? No. Guess Im reduced to watching a movie on my iPad in my truck if I want the outside ambiance.
Love this drive in theater. Itβs a historical location and a rare find. Itβs spacious and Iβve had great experiences here. I havenβt been here in a few years, and would say the speakers that viewers put in their cars could be updated- that is if they havenβt been already.
The drive in has changed a lot since I was younger. They dont have the individual speakers but you can rent them for $20. You now have to put your car radio on a certain station to listen to the movie. We arrived late which wasnt too bad because the first movie really didnt thrill me. Lol. My only complaint was the restroom set-up. There were port o potties., Yuk. . I just wish that the restrooms and the refreshment area was better detailed instead of just a map that youre looking at in the dark because youre in a drive in. I had to walk through a very rocky area to get to the restroom and of course I got lost going there and coming back trying to find my car. Lol. Otherwise it was enjoyable
They were awesome! We got there early, not realizing their Halloween event was happening. My son got candy, everyone was great! Watched a movie. Then while watching the movie, they interrupted to say...stay for another. We orginally went for the 8 oclock showing. Did I mention it was all free? We will definitely go back! Yes, we would even pay. Just like old times for us. Thank you! Wanted to trick or treat, but thanks to 2020, we didnt. Glad we found this. Great alternative! Happy Halloween!
SO much fun! I didnt know they were open all week, year round. $12/adult and $5/kid under 12 (I think) is a great deal to see 2 movies that are still in theaters! They have 5 screens each with a different FM station for sound, concessions still open, and clean bathrooms. Find whats playing on their website or Facebook page. And this is a really good idea for cheap entertainment while easily staying socially distant from people not in your bubble. Ill be coming back VERY soon!
Heres what you have to put up with.. People come for one movie. When that is over they all drive and change theaters so y9uhave lights shining in your face and then they leave the lights turned on in front of you . even though you paid for the movie your watching and they didnt. Now its ruined for you . they park right in front of us!! It sucks!!
I hadnt been to this place in at least fifteen years but decided to take my teenage son there to watch a double feature of Halloween and Scream so he could get exposed to the classics. He was amused at how we used to do things back in the day and how he could just see the other movies playing. And I remembered how fun the drive in could be. If you go expecting some high definition screen type experience youll get your feelings hurt but for a good laid back time, cant beat it.
Nice place. Would of.got a 5 star but the driving part is confusing, to get to and from the snack bar Im pretty sure I was going the wrong way. But the staff were very nice and wearing masks. Movie was good and you could hear it crystal clear on the radio. Will definitely be back. :)
We saw Nobody and Wrong Turn. I was hooked, definitely going to purchase these when I can. The only downsides to seeing a drive-in, is they have no speakers so you have to tune in through your radio car speakers. I would recommend bringing a portable radio that way you dont drain your battery while watching the movie. The theater is pretty good about keeping on top of people with their lights on by reminding them to turn them off. Its just annoying until they get around to them. Also, most people smoke with their windows down so thats another annoying thing. Other than that, I love coming here!
It was a very fun experience. Very unique in this day and age. Screen quality is obviously no high definition, but going to a drive in is just as much for the experience than the movie. As long as you arent looking for an HD movie experience, I would highly recommend this theatre. Plan on going back to see some Halloween classics this season
I would say our experience was as good as it could be , considering we were at a drive-in . A drive in is more about the experience than the actual quality of the experience the picture was a little faded and the sound was a little rough but I will say the Ford Drive-In people try to help with that as much as they could they have radios available for a $20 deposit this helps when the car you are in has to be restarted every 10 minutes or so because the battery supposedly was dying
We saw American Skin and Judas and the Black Messiah tonight! Adults were $12 per person, children under 12 are $5. Great selection of movies offered! The clerk was polite! We didnt get stuck in the snow on the lot either! Ford-Wyoming will ALWAYS be a traditional staple in our family!!!
If I could give these guys 100 stars I would. I hadnβt been here since I was a kid. Due to Covid We havenβt gone to movies in over a year. (Being huge movie fans itβs been rough) We came here for a promotion for a WWE Documentary. As soon as we got to the entrance gates the staff were so friendly. The bathrooms are very clean! And they are do a great job of enforcing social distancing. Will definitely be back soon!!
It was nice. You bring all your snacks and stuff if you want and can watch a movie from the comfort of your car. We were early so technically we saw a movie and a half. Whats not to like! The radio channel you use to hear the movie from your car is very clear. They also give you the option to rent a portable radio. I might consider that next time because the vehicle I was in wouldnt start back up. We just called the theatre office and they sent someone to give us a boost. They came right away and they were very helpful. So I had a nice time. Its perfect actually with all thats going on if you want to get out but not be around a lot people. Enjoy!
Could definitely use a HUGE update. This place is always busy its hard to imagine why they never do anything new to it. My male friend used the bathroom and said it was really nice so that was disappointing as the female bathrooms were gross and smelled weird. Theres also a lot of people who dont turn off their lights which sucks. I do love the late showings though. Perfect when you cant sleep but dont want to sit at home
Had such a great time! I havent seen a movie the whole pandemic. This was a safe fun activity. My only problem is our showtime said 7pm initially on the website so when we arrived early at 6:30 and waited around until about 7:15 I decided to check the site again and it said 8pm. So we waited a while for our show to start. Idk what the error was.
DO NOT go here on a weekend night. We sat in a 1/2 mile long line for over an hour to get into their parking lot. People were sick of waiting in line and started cutting in front of others. There were several road rage incidents. I saw an accident. We finally got into the drive in at 10:10 pm. The movie was well underway. A complete WASTE of $30.
The drive in is a throwback to the past. With multiple screens to view younwill have nothing but a good time. Because of covid the window speakers are no more and you just have to tune in to the appropriate radio station for the screen you are viewing. The facilities are clean but outdated. It has typical movie theater prices for the concessions. The popcorn doesnt ever seem to be fresh or hot. The wings are run of the mill and decent. One of the screens seems to be a bit older than the others and so it doesnt seem to be as clear. Normally theres only 2 lanes open so getting into the theater is quite a bit slow if its busy but not normally too bad of a wait if any on a regular day.If you ever want to see a double feature and its kinda late, the ford drive in should be considered.
Compared to when I have gone here in the past it is much improved. The people were very nice and courteous and everything was pretty clean. There was broken glass in quite a few of the spots you part in but Im guessing it is hard to clean up when it is all in gravel. Concessions have been nicely upgraded but the food was a bit cold. During Covid they only allow one car parked every other spot, which is fine except they wouldnt even let people in the same household park next to each other. Overall it was a good experience.
We had a pretty good experience overall. There were a few kids there partying and not watching the movie. It was fine They were not bothering anyone. The bathroom was amazingly Clean! Popcorn was very good. You had to tune to a channel on the radio to listen but for some reason the sound was terrible. Maybe it was my speakers...Like I said overall is was a good experience. I got to watch a movie during Covid19. Also they run a very tight ship! Good job guys!
Excellent experience! Everyone and everything was peaceful! Love watching the bigscreen on the outside. Plus its fun when you make it into a picnic of sorts by bringing food, snacks, etc for in the car. Staff goes around periodically to make sure car headlights are off and to do a general check which is good. Thank God for the drive-in during this pandemic! Cant wait to go back!
First time at a drive-In and we chose Godzilla VS. Kong and its like you step back into the 40s-60s era and I ABSOLUTELY love it! Would be better if they hosted car shows or did some type of 1940s-1960s theme. They show anything from classical movies to newly released movies.
A military man and his mother sat in line for a hour . after he has been gone on duty for 2 years and was turned away even though he would have waited for the next show.. he was told no to leave and go back in line and start over again.. vary sad.. he just wanted to see a show with his mother.
This place is amazing! Found it last summer, went three times. Went back last night and its still the best drive-in theater ever. I love being able to sit in my car and watch movies like that in the privacy of my own vehicle! So happy this place is open for me and my family to share wonderful memories with!
Always a blast to come here. Prices are good, and the sound quality is great. Good rule of thumb is to always walk around with shoes on since you likely wont see any glass on the ground. Definitely bring blankets and pillows, and any snacks you want if youre not in the area with the concessions stand. My one caveat is that as of June 29th 2020, theyre packing cars in and not following their one car every other space rule. I would hope they would be better about it, but if you dont leave your car at all, I suppose its not an issue for you.
What is there not to love about the Ford Drive In. Its a great place to go for a family outing, and relax. The Ford Drive In, has been around for generations. My mom went as a child, I loved this place as a child, and now Im taking my child and we had a great time. Staff are COVID-19 compliant. Restrooms are clean and the best part is you can bring your own food and have a great time.
Enjoyed the double features. Concession stand prices were reasonable but they were slow and backed up getting the orders out. I only ordered a large popcorn and after waiting about 10 mintues I went to another window and asked who was responsible for making the popcorn and the young lady made it for me right then, else I wouldve been still waiting. The bathrooms were pretty decent for all the people that was there. Watch out for the potholes!! Overall, I enjoyed myself. Waiting on something new and good, so we can go back.
The experience was amazing! When I want there today QuicknLoans was paying for everyones tickets which was very nice, it was for a sponsorship which was very nice of them. As it is the pandemic currently they are doing an outstanding job at enforcing mask wear. The workers at the front were really kind and helpful to make sure we got to our theater. The people at the concession stand were very nice and they had really good food and beverages. They had a big selection of movies having 8+ movies to choose from. I highly recommend this place to go to during the pandemic, anytime for that matter.πβ
Blast From the Past!!! I went as a lil lil kid and saw Grease 2 wile moms and co. watched Wrath of Kahn!Otherwise it was many trips under a blanket in the backseat with friends and family heading to the Mt. Clemens drive-in! Ford theater is trying to keep it alive but of course its a lil bit different than any of us vets of the Flintstone era! Tops of hoods, roofs, nearby tin can trailer park homes close enough to pick up the AM station. Walking thru the snack bar almost losing your shoes from sticking to the floor. Pooling our money to share a bag of chips and a drink π. Finally, the infamous playground. Now completely off limits due to distancing and covid-19.I am so disappointed that my kids will never know how a Drive-in was such an awesome experience that cant compare.4 not 5 stars?? Ill tell ya. At $12 a person (not vehicle) & 7 outta 10 movies were from the 80s & 90s I dont see the harm in switching screens if they start em at a predetermined time.
I enjoyed the movie that was my first time ever and 65 years of going to a drive-in movie I didnt know you didnt have the boxes anymore you have to tune in on your radio to get the volume of the movie the roads lead something to be desired lot of potholes I think they make enough money pave or gravel the yard so Drive slowly cuz you got a lot of pot holes
Need a more expedited ticketing process. We even bought out tickets online and still had to wait in a line for over an hour because people were cutting. Line didnt move until police came and directed traffic. We would have left if ee had not already bought tickets. Missed 30 minutes of movie.
Drive all the way here to find out if the anime they have is in English or Japanese because they didnβt post it but have an English trailer on their site. The booth person told us itβs in Japanese so we left and wasted the trip. My friend went today and said itβs in English and now Iβve lost out on seeing it and wasted a trip for nothing when I could have enjoyed the movie if I was informed correctly.
***KIDS WALK HERE*** DRIVE WITH CAUTION!Family & a good Chill environment, with** food till 3am weekends, sometimes you got your big mouth peeps rarely , lol .... but the best security works here they are tight on issues or any problems they end in a second, *be first to say if theres a real problem & will be kicked out if you are the problem!! :)Remember ***KIDS AND TODDLERS WALK & PLAY HERE EVERYWHERE WALKING AROUND , DONT GET OUTTA CONTROL LIKED- BUZZED OR DRUNK AND DRIVE ITS A FAMILY PLACE ...KEEP CLEAN! PLZ WE WANNA KEEP THE DRIVE IN NICE ! GOD BLESS STAY SAFE-.Friendly neighborhood peep.
The lady was sitting on the phone the whole time Talking while we trying to get in the movie there before it starts I would not recommend this place allow their customer service and women say something about it the other employees got aggressor well maybe defensive
Good screens and projector quality. The screens are high enough that you dont have to worry about cars in front of you getting in the way. Did not visit concession stand. Lots of space at each screen though I would recommend getting there early at least in 2020 post(mid?) Covid as it has become very popular and there was a line of cars to get in.
Theyve changed a lot of things and the speakers are not there anymore. And on top of that I couldnt hear the movie for the most part. Cause they have it to where you gotta use Wi-Fi now. And also theyve gone up on the prices for everything. Wont be going back no time soon.
The popcorn was not fresh not at all I purchased my popcorn at 9:30 in the evening they just opened up and it was all bad and I didnt find out until I got all the way back to my car which was felt like a half a mile from the construction stand.. And I pay the arm and the leg for it It wasnt even worth a pinky
They have the most charming 60s era cartoon playing during the intermission advertising their food options and how long you have until the next movie. Great first experience at the drive in.Update: taking off a star. I dont blame the establishment for this, but bring cash or check. Last time I used my debit card Im pretty sure the ticket person stole my card number.
Havent been to a drive-in since I was around 5 and this brought back great memories. Being able to watch 2 movies, in the comfort of your car and not having to worry about being too loud is amazing. Only complaint is the mens restroom had only one working faucet, which made using the restroom and little longer since there was a line to wash hands. Besides that, would highly recommend for anyone who wants to experience a blast form the past and try something new.
It was a great experience. We packed up the kids with snacks and enjoyed a double feature. A plus is you dont have to use their speakers. You can just turn to the corresponding radio station in your car to have better sound quality. The restrooms are also clean and well lit. The have all the typical theater refreshments too. This place is great for dates and great for a family.
Been coming here since I was a small child. Now I get to bring my children. It seems that theyve cleaned it up quite a bit and are doing pretty well following covid guidelines. The only large screen experience I know about thats playing newer content. Just saw New Mutants September 5 2020
I hadnt been to this place in years...last time I was asked to let them check my trunk. I was so offended that I almost left, but I was so thrown off, and with a line behind us I opted not to make a scene. We decided to chance it again, so we could be comfortable for the 3 hour Endgame. (I was prepared to give everyone a piece of my mind this time)! But the cashier was nice....even though he had to go find a working credit card machine. To my grateful surprise, the bathroom was pleasant and clean. There was even an attendant sitting in there (Id return for this reason alone). The radio signal had some very low static during the movie....not a deal breaker, but noticeable. The screen was decent quality as well. All in all, the price was worth our experience. Glad we gave them another shot.
I kind of miss going to the drive-in. I just dont like watching movies that are filmed with a lot of dark scenes because its hard to see and sometimes people cant seem to leave their lights off. Im glad they are open. I fail to understand why the police wouldnt close the golf courses but they made sure the drive-in stayed closed.
We sat in line forever waiting on the lady to get off the phone to get the line moving when we got to the front of the line and I said something the other Three people that were standing there doing nothing got aggressive and rude because I said something about her being on the phone very horrible customer service would not recommend at all
We have (2) drive in locations here in a metropolitan Detroit area. Somehow; I love this location. As of August 26, 2020 the pricing is $12.00 per person. this location is very functional. Theres a gas station outside of the drive-in just in case you burn a little too much gasπ. And, theres also casual dining restaurants across the street on Ford Rd. Which are definitely open very late.
I am 54 been going to drive-in since my childhood. I took my children & now I bring my grandkids. The bathrooms are always clean. There are several movies to choose from (although theaters 7-9 are no longer openβΉοΈ) there is still enough variety. There are 2 movies for the price of one. There is a little playground area with swings for the kids. For the money its a great family putting or even a couples night out. The only reason I left a star off is the box office staff at times seem a bit aggressive or tired not sure which
The staff is very nice, theyve taken easy and amazing steps to help prevent the spread of this pandemic, and movie quality is awesome. The only thing that bothers me is the flood lights surrounding the entire plot of land, from industrial companies and their parking lots.

2022-06-26Hard to watch the movies... people sittin out were very loud(hella rude)... lot of people showed up late so kept getting headlights to the face well into the movie. Might have a different experience if you sit inside the car...I wont go here again tho.

2021-10-14My son drove us to see the last Daniel Craig Bond movie. A Time to Die. Really wanted to see it on a big screen and its well worth it. Any action movie imma going back to see here! Its So Fun to be listening through your own speakers an the whole car vibrated on the base notes. Plus u can scream pretty loud an not bug your neighbors! Take a carload, you wont regret it. Big Plus- the Fries an Burgers are Good And the bathrooms are Very clean. I recommend to all, get that drive-in fun experience while we are getting such super fall weather. Big Screen Wowπ

2022-05-21We love going to the drive-in over the weekend. We usually lay in the back of our pickup. We went during their anniversary celebration and it was so much fun! We made sure to come early to avoid the lines

2022-06-23We waited 30+ minutes for popcorn.Parents, please make your own popcorn and stop at dollar tree for snacks (highly recommend). A lot of people were ordering $70+ in food treating the concessions like a restaurant which sadly made us miss the first 20 minutes of our movie. For our first time going we were surprised how efficient the process was like getting parked. We were in a car so our view was obstructed by a truck in front of us, we could only see half the movie. Overall, once you go youβll get a better understanding of what to do the next time. So itβs a more enjoyable experience. Also I saw people with lawn chairs and their own little radios, fun.

2022-02-22I love this place. They have raised the prices and its per vehicle now instead of per person which sucks a little bit for people like me who go alone a lot. But its still cheaper than the actual theater price for the tickets wise not once you start adding in gas and wear n tear. At gas prices for premium ( with coupons ) it gets a little pricey. But I still continue to go.I do wish they would reconsider the pricing though like if you have two people in your car one adult one child it should be cheaper than the person who brings two adults and five children. Its a steal for the person with a big family.

2022-06-01Great place. Not to busy. Spots are angled up so you can see the screen. We got there 30 minutes early, which was too much. Would recommend getting there 15 minutes early. Movies seem to play back to back. No bugs or mosquitoes either, which was nice. Plenty of time at the beginning of the site to get concessions. Will definitely go back again.

2022-04-12I absolutely love coming here. This is the only drive-in theater near me thatβs open year round, for the most part, no matter the weather. I love coming out there and getting the whole experience!

2022-05-23Screen 4 was in front of all the lights off ford rd. So it was very hard to see the screen. More so for the second movie. It was a darker movie. If you got to a different screen you should be fine.
