Dr. Fortes office has always been extremely clean and inviting. They have gone above and beyond to make sure the office is clean and healthy for patients. I was nervous about going to to dentist during a pandemic, however I felt very comfortable in the waiting room and during my cleaning. The staff is always helpful and kind. We are so fortunate to have Dr.Fortes practice right down the street.
I am a very anxious (nervous) dental patient, and because of this I am also a reluctant dental patient. The staff at Forte Family Dentistry was so accommodating and respectful of my anxieties. Raleigh could not have been nicer. She explained everything step by step and assured me I could take a break whenever needed. If you’re anxious about a dental visit and are looking for a dental practice that will work with you this is the place to call. Highly recommend Forte Family Dentistry.
This is one of the best dentists I’ve ever been to. The staff is very friendly and Dr Forte is kind and knowledgeable as well.They are all very good with kids and dental “cowards” too. If you’re nervous about the dentist, let them know and they’ll work with you in a very gentle way.The office is very clean, peaceful, with plenty of parking at a great location. I can not say enough good about Forte Family Dentistry and I highly recommend them.
My family has been going to Dr Forte for some time and when I wanted to get porcelain veneers done, my mother recommended coming to Dr ForteThis was a huge mistakeFrom start to finish the experience was unprofessional, painful, and left me feeling like I had just been taken advantage of because the procedure was very costly.Now a good friend of mine is getting veneers from another dentist and I am seeing how the process is done by a dentist who knows what they are doing.At this point I am at a loss of what to do because my teeth that costed thousands of dollars look bad and are constantly painful.My question to Dr Forte, if you had no experience in veneers, why would you agree to do this job?
Cosmetically shortened my front tooth while working on my teeth for clear correct without asking. I planned to have it fixed after Clear correct was complete. They placed a fix before clear correct started and it fell off same day. I’ve had it worked on twice in 12 years and the bonding held. Very upset I now have lopsided front teeth. I do not feel like they take the time for permanent fixes and are in rush.

The office is clean and kid friendly. It also seems equip with the latest dental equipment, but Im no dental equipment expert. The staff is friendly and professional. They are great at answering any questions that I might have. As for Dr. Forte, she is very nice, communicates well, and is very efficient. Every time Ive gone in for an appointment, I have had a great experience.
I have nothing but positive things to say about Forte! Service is exceptional from the front desk to the hygienists to Dr. Forte. They do a great job at seeing you promptly, which is hard to find based on my experiences. Theyre technology-forward from scheduling to keeping dental records, which is something I appreciate. The office is modern and comfortable.

Dr. Forte and her team is honest, professional, and incredibly generous with their services. I came from another local office after they drilled too deep for a cavity. My original office wasnt available and Dr. Forte allowed me to come in with zero notice for an emergency root canal treatment.Dr. Forte personally meets with each patient and works well with her team - they converse about proper treatment and how best to apply it to each patient.Before working with Dr. Forte, I was told by my prior dentist that I had gum disease and would need an expensive treatment to get rid of it ($600+ over a two treatments). I was about to go through with the treatment because I was terrified, but after visiting Dr. Forte, she provided her professional opinion that I didnt need a treatment like that and that I was far from gum disease.Her teams honesty about my treatment and understanding with scheduling has earned my business - as long as Im in this area, Ill be sure to be her client.
Ive had my share of dentists, and Dr. Fortes office is by far my favorite. The hygienists are excellent, friendly without being overly chatty, and very thorough. FFD has the latest and greatest gear. Dr. Forte herself is great, too.Lastly, and perhaps best, I never feel like Im being pushed to buy stuff I dont want, and, being dental insurance-free, I am charged reasonably for my mouth care.
I cant recommend them highly enough! Best dental office Ive ever used. They take time with you and take you seriously. They helped my wife design a plan that has been truly saving her teeth (previous dentists just wanted to do the easy way out and do extractions). And theyre super friendly!
I dont give ratings to places very often, but I really feel like doctor Forte and her staff deserve 5 stars across the board. I had to leave her a message on one of her days off and she called me back promptly. Even better though, she didnt make me feel like I was inconveniencing her. She was nice and patient and was willing to get me in asap. I recommend her to anyone that asks for a dentist referral and am recommending her to you if youre reading this. Bonus is that theyre really great with kids, too!
Dr. Forte is by far the best Dentist out there! Dr. Fortes work is perfect and done with a such a gentle hand. The staff is so kind and friendly and the biller is VERY helpful and informative of what my insurance will and will not cover. I would recommend this office to ANYONE!!! Though the new office is a little further from my home I will gladly travel the extra mile for the service I receive..
So incredibly happy to find Dr. Julie Forte, and her amazing staff! I am completely terrified of visiting the dentist. I had two very painful, unprofessional, and scary visits with previous dentists that I have developed a very real fear. However, here at Forte Family they dont make me feel silly for being afraid, in fact they take a real interest in helping me relax. I had a recent root canal and the entire process went so smoothly. My family will never go anywhere else for any of our dental needs. Happy I found such a compassionate and talented dentist.
Very pleased with Dr. Forte and her staff. Gentle care for those of us who are nervous, procedure is explained, costs are typically discussed up front and Ive never waited longer than 5 minutes for my scheduled appointment time. Im pleased to support another woman-owned business in Berkley. Very happy with the services.
Dr Forte is the best dentist that Ive ever had in 48 years. Her office is as efficient as it is warm to visit. Ive been going here for just over a year, but I feel like Ive known everybody in the office for much longer. Its a relief to know that for years to come, that my smile is one thing I do not have to worry about.
Took me decades to FINALLY find a dentist with compassion, kindness and modern skills. Dr. Forte and her wonderful staff were referred to me by a cousin and merely an hour ago I had the first of several procedures to follow; a root canal. How satisfied must I truly be to sit down and take the time to applaud Forte Family Dentistry even before I take a nap? I cannot possibly recommend this office or its Family any more profoundly and with greater appreciation than I do.
The staff was so accommodating when I called looking for a last minute appointment. I had avoided the dentist for a while after a bad experience where another office made me feel very guilty and this was such a refreshing change from my last office! The hygienist and dentist were very kind, professional and honest and made me feel so comfortable. I will be making regular appointments here moving forward!
Dr Forte and staff are fantastic ! The atmosphere is relaxing and the office is super modern and beautiful . The entire experience from the comprehensive exam/cleaning to paying the bill at the front desk . Everyone is very friendly and professional . I was in the worst pain ever and happened to stumble upon this office through my dental directory. I had specific requirements that needed to be met before I could commit to making an appointment, this dental office met all of them and some! The staff members are extremely friendly and the Dentist is amazing. I was able to get a same day appointment and even though the dentist was on a tight schedule, she was willing to take care of my problem so I could get some relief. Needless to say, I have found my new Dentist. I look forward to a brighter smile while in the care of FORTE FAMILY DENTISTRY!
Best dentist I’ve ever been to! I’m usually very nervous to go to the dentist but not here! They make you very confortable and even offer nitrous oxide(laughing gas) to calm you down, which was helpful for me! I even got my wisdom teeth surgery done with her and it was the best experience I would have hoped for! Definitely recommend!
Fantastic! Nice equipment, nice people, excellent teeth cleaning! HIGHLY recommend!!!Update: I just took my 3-year-old for his first dentist appointment; it was WONDERFUL! Raleigh was great! She was able to clean and polish his teeth, and even get a couple of x-rays - he was all smiles!
Im writing this review with a numb mouth after getting a couple fillings today, and I just have to say that Dr. Forte and her team are spectacular. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and amazing, and, as a life-long dentist-phobe, I never thought Id find a dentists office that I didnt dread going to. But Dr. Forte has done just that! Shes also committed to using the best technologies to make things easier for both her staff and her patients. Dr. Forte and her team excel at putting a patient (even the most anxious like myself) at ease. She keeps waiting room delays to a bare minimum (I dont think Ive ever personally waited more than 2-3 minutes to get in), and everyone on her team makes you feel like youre a top priority. The icing on the cake is that Dr. Forte and her team are amazingly nice, funny, kind, and welcoming people. Highly recommend!
Dr. Forte is an excellent dentist! The office is spotlessly clean, her equipment is advanced and the hygienists are very friendly. The staff is also very helpful in resolving any insurance questions or issues.

Dependable and caring! I appreciate the precision and thoroughness in the work and the comprehensiveness in expertise (cleanings, tooth extraction, fillings, crowns, bonding, bridge, jaw pain-- I have experienced them all). Unfortunately for me I am a frequent flyer. They recognize my phone number I believe! The team is always kind, recognize how fearful chronic dental issues can be , and are excellent in accommodating that with compassion, timeliness, and getting me in as soon as possible. Overall, our experience with Forte Family Dentistry was positive. The dental work was good and the staff was friendly. Dr. Forte is kind.However my husband and I ran into an unfortunate situation in that our insurance would not cover certain types of fillings that the dentist recommended. Because of this, we were left with a large financial burden to cover b/c our insurance would not pay for everything. This situation could have been avoided if we were initially informed of a treatment plan that our insurance company said should have been provided (but wasnt). Hopefully in the future, Forte Family Dentistry will provide financial options or alternatives for patients so they wont get caught off guard with bills for procedures that are not fully covered.
Office is very nice. Love the leather chairs and updated technology. Dr. Forte was kind, informative and quick. Hygienists have been nice. Love the new location, just around the block from my house. Easy to park.
Ms Ashley is great with kids! So is Ms Raleigh. Dr Forte is professional, knowledgeable, and has great bedside manner with adults and kids. The front office staff is very nice as well. My daughter likes the prize box toys.
The Women here do amazing work. and are very Kind. Dr. Julie is also very kind. I have never had better hygienists or dentists.Update, just got implants and Dr. Julie did 2 implants with no real discomfort and no pain the next day.. Im very surprised with the level of care you get at this place. I tell everyone to come here.

First visit was this week. I got called back on time, check in process went smoothly. ALL staff was friendly. My teeth were cleaned with technology that my former dentist office never used. Loved this place! I swear my teeth look whiter than they ever have leaving any other dentist office!
This office and it’s staff provided us with excellent service! I called at closing time yesterday and was given the first appointment for today to bring in my son with a toothache. We were in and out of the office within 30 minutes and they were fabulous with him. I am definitely switching all 5 of my children to this office and I couldn’t be happier with our experience.
My appointment for a cleaning was very good...Raliegh was very thorough and explained everything and was fun to talk to ( for as much as one can talk with an open mouth LOL) but I left understanding what I need to do and why I need to do it.In addition to this appointment, my husband Stan and I really think Dr. Forte and everyone who works with her are so great...professional but friendly as well...and we think Dr. Forte is an amazing dentist!!

2022-07-21I’ve been coming to Forte consistently since around 2016 & I normally always have positive experiences. I’ve had clear correct (2x), cavities filled, & just recently my wisdom tooth removed. Plus I come every 6 months for a cleaning! Staff is amazing, caring & thorough. My appointments are always a breeze! I highly recommend.

2022-07-15I came here after having a bad experience with my previous dentist and everyone here is amazing!! The front desk staff was extremely nice and worked very hard to squeeze in multiple appointments for me. I also cant say enough nice things about my dental hygienist Raleigh. She was incredible and I would highly encourage anyone coming here to ask for her. Although I am sure everyone who works here is great!

2022-04-26This office misbilled my insurance years ago. I am still getting bills for their mistake. I called the office and all involved insurance companies multiple times throughout the years and even met with the office manager in person. The insurance companies told me that they were misbilled and then never rebilled. The office manager tried to rebill but this was so long after the original mistake, she did not believe that they would reimburse. Well, years later, Im still getting billed for their mistake. Also, in my meeting with her we found multiple other instances where I was overbilled (and overpaid). These were reduced from the amount that I owe which I dont actually owe since it was a mistake on their end. They have held on to hundreds of my dollars for years for their own mistake. Not only that, they gave my teen son gas twice (and billed me for it) after I explicitly told them not to. When I complained, I was told that I should have been with him in the room (he was 14 at the time) to make sure that he didnt get it. They did remove those charges from my bill but this is extremely concerning that my son would be given gas when I did not consent.I would not trust this dentist. Needless to say, Ive never been back but Im still getting this bill and have never gotten an apology or any response at all from Dr. Forte herself. This gives the impression that she really doesnt care - she just wants her money.

2021-06-24I chose this dentist out of convenience as it was closest to my home at the time. I have since moved but I continue to drive out here (past several other dentists fyi) because Dr. Forte and her team are the simply the best. They are knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and all together fabulous. I highly recommend their services and will continue to be a patient for as long as I have teeth (which will thankfully be prolonged due to their excellent care!).

2021-04-28I love Dr. Forte! The office is lovely and clean, the front desk staff are always smiling and pleasant. The hygienists have all been very kind and knowledgeable, and of course, so is Julie! They have helped me with tooth issues on top of regular cleaning, and I havent had a single bad experience in the three years Ive been a patient here. They get the work done right, keep me comfortable, and work quickly, and its clear that they like their work environment. I hope to keep Forte as my dentist for many years.

2021-07-12My children has been going to this dentist office for 4 years. For some reason 1 of my kids dentist insurance lapsed, instead of the dental office verifying that her insurance was good before they performed a fill-in, they did the work then charged me $800. Now they are holding all my kids dental records. If the clerk told me she wasnt covered I would have not allowed them to do the procedure or rescheduled for a different time.. I wasnt given the option. So basically, if you dont pay a $800 bill that they dont tell you about until after the service, this dentist is willing to prevent children from getting needed dental work and wont return phone calls or release my kids records!!!! Do not go to Forte Family Dentistry!! The service is good until they make a mistake! ⬇️⬇️⬇️ update: they will respond to a review but wont return a phone call, I called the insurance company. If your office made sure she was covered you would have known she wasnt eligible and then to not release my other kids records so they can get the needed dental work is CRAZY! There is no way your office called because they told me her insurance ended 20 days before her appointment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

2022-03-30Staff is very unprofessional and not accurate with prices. And will not tell the true about making a mistake with the price. Dentist just goes with the flow even though she knows there wrong. Don’t waste your hard earned money.

2021-04-20We are so happy with the services provided by Family Forte. The staff is always kind and accommodating. Recently my son had his wisdom teeth extracted. We were contacted the day prior and after extraction. The doctor and anesthesiologist personally reached out to us. The hygienists are gentle and do a wonderful job maintaining our sparkly smiles. We appreciate Family Forte.

2021-01-23This is by far the best experience I have had at the dentist office. They really took care of me and treated me with respect and kindness. They began by asked me if I was usually scared going to the dentist and as I have had 8 teeth removed for various reasons, I am very scared of the dentist. They were very careful but thorough with my regular cleaning and made me feel at ease. They also went above and beyond to even help me book an appointment as I have a very hectic schedule. Overall so grateful for the wonderful experience.

2021-08-02Is it possible to give zero stars? I recommend you look for another dentist. Their COVID-19 protocol is lax at best. I was told I needed a root canal and went for a second opinion. I did not need a root canal. I was given a crown for an implant by Dr. Forte, it didnt fit, caused gum damage and had to be replaced. She says she guarantees her work but dont stick around to find out. I had to pay for the second crown. Her bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. Any other dentist, is better than this one!
