Love this place!! Great food! And owned and operated by great people!! Its my everyday place!! Cant start my day without stopping in for sum coffee and a bite to eat but what really makes this place so special is the People!!! We all are like family when were there!!!
The owners, servers, cooks and entire staff were absolutely AMAZING!! We were in town to compete against Oakland when the power at our hotel shut off overnight. We called Four Korners to accommodate our breakfast needs and they were not only able and willing, but their hospitality and kindness was incredible! Even the cooks in the kitchen had a smile on their faces despite the last minute request. The food was plentiful and delicious as well...it cant be beat! We will continue to come back whenever we come back to this area and highly recommend this restaurant to all!!
My last review was 4 years ago, and we all know how much has changed since then so I thought Id update. This diner is still worth 5 stars! As a family, we have pretty much given up on going to restaurants on Sunday. There just isnt the staffing in most places to accommodate the Sunday brunch crowd. However, my son and I go to Four Korners every Thursday and it is always fantastic, so we brought the whole family in on Sunday. We all kept our expectations low, but there was no need. The place was almost entirely full, but we were served amazing food in no time at all. The whole staff works as a team and its just really stellar service.
Awesome service , decent food... Fair prices.. Our main server Melayne was spectacular although they say they are short staffed and there is a Chef wanted sign in window ...you couldnt tell because everything and everyone was on point .. From the hostess who sat us throughout our entire meal the atmosphere was positive and comfortable .
Ive never eaten here before and decided to try the biscuits and gravy with sausage patties. I open the Box for carry out and theres very little gravy and one biscuit was basically dry. I took all the gravy for just the 2 of 4 biscuits I ate. The gravy was a little runny and bland. The sausage patties were overcooked; hockey pucks. It went into the trash.Unfortunate because Ive heard so many good things about this restaurant. Could have been an off day.
I’m so glad I googled for a restaurant that my family & I could go to this morning and Four Korners was listed. Service was excellent (Julie was wonderful), breakfast was delicious and the addition staff and management were great! We were in the area for our son’s wedding and needing a restaurant for breakfast before everyone headed their separate ways and I’m so glad we stopped!Clean, excellent food, great coffee and generous portions. I just can’t say enough!!!
We are new to the area and have been trying new breakfast restaurants weekly. Four Korners has definitely been the best so far. Extensive menu, reasonable prices, daily specials, clean, friendly waitstaff. Cant wait to try the homemade soups.Rebecca was fantastic during our visit.
On a weekend, July 24th, that started out as a horrible adventure, we stopped here for breakfast to regroup. The food was fabulous, staff was friendly, the owner was right out on the floor attending to his customers, and all the employees were busy and helping each other. It was so good we went back for lunch before we went to our wedding, which was lovely!! I highly recommend it. Thank you for saving our weekend!!
You cant go wrong with whatever you choose. Whether it be breakfast, soups(always delicious), lunch specials, dinner entrees or salads. The portions are very generous, youll never leave less than stuffed too the brim. The home fries are the perfect side for everything. The big breakfast satisfies every whim and no matter how ordered eggs come correct. They never disappoint.
A hidden little “hole in the wall”. Great food and fast, friendly, thorough service. I ordered the Breakfast Special of steak & eggs with a side of fried potatoes for only $9.99. Was extremely tasty and fresh! Surprised to find that the steak and burgers here are fresh and not frozen along with the burgers being hand chucked. Mine was cooked very nicely(medium)! My server was very sweet and thoughtful too. She made plenty of rounds filling coffees and making sure everyone was satisfied. Prices are great and menu is huge, and this place is very underrated, most likely due to location. I will be back for more yummy food now that I know this little gem is right near me!
If you are looking for a cheap place to dine then this is the place for you. The place was so filled with grease and I was afraid to touch anything. There was a layer of grease on the floor where you could ice skate on, as well as the seats that was so awful to sit on. Cheap diner food, not much quality to it.
My husband and I LOVE this breakfast place, it’s our FAVORITE! The waitresses are very friendly and the mood of the place is very positive. If you have a request with your food, your waitress is more than happy to understand and get you what you need. It’s nice to go somewhere we’re your server is not so robotic and is more warming and relatable. The food is always top notch and never comes to us scolding hot like some places are. Even if it is a little hot it doesn’t bother us because it’ll help us not scarf it down so quick haha. The prices are good and the communication we see between all the staff is such a great sign of a good running diner.I highly suggest this place to anybody!
Nice local diner with a yummy, hot breakfast for a decent price. They seated us quickly, got our order, and brought our food in a timely manner. The food was good and they had lots of options for breakfast. The waiters and waitresses were very busy but courteous and attentive. They did not forget anything and served us efficiently.
Great food the atmosphere was please the service to top notch you get a large meal for you bucks all n all I would definitely eat there again it could be a favorite mom n pop spot four corners get five stars we were waited on by the owner Im not great but he said me feel like I was excellent lease check it out lightning fast service all other business need to take a page out of there play book I ate everything on my plate country fried steak from scratch in less than five minutes if I could give an a ward they would get the golden spatula hands down check out.
This place is pretty small but has a great, personal vibe. The waitstaff is friendly and the prices are competitive. Try the soups and you will not be disappointed. Their chicken fingers wrap is basically a bigger Kerby melt but it comes with soup and fries for the same price. Well worth the trip, but come early if you dont want to wait a bit for a table.
Amazing food, like really!! The place to go. Forget about any other place. Been going for a few years now and never have i had a poor meal. All homemade and delicious. Friendly atmosphere and just a great affordable place to eat! We rarely go anywhere else. No need too!!
This was a wonderful little hole in the wall place that has been through many owners in over 40 years and the food is always been great. It was much busier on this occasion than it had been for quite a while and it was great to see people still being happy and eating together and smiling. Will definitely visit again.
Excellent service our waitress was Tara, she was very nice, food was tasty too. I dont give them 5 stars because they charge $2 for coffee. It should be included with breakfast or half off on weekdays. Most restaurants have that. FYI: bathroom was very nice and clean.
We were visiting from out of town for a graduation. The venue is a small, local diner. Service was amazing! Menu was your typical diner food, and it tastes good. The owner was extremely involved and was actively assisting the staff. That is commendable!! It appears to be family owned and very popular. The entire time we were there, the tables were full and lots of people were getting to-go orders. The hours are limited so be sure to check and confirm that they are open before you go. If you have a large party, I also recommend calling ahead so they can reserve tables together. Otherwise it might take awhile to seat your party together.
A good typical diner. They have special everyday and that is what I usually will get and they are always good. The coffee is good as well. The seating is sparce so you may have a short wait depending on when you arrive but it is worth it. The portions are fair and the pricing is good. An enjoyable local diner for us.
This is a very nice cozy restaurant. I have been working in the the area for years but have only started stopping by this establishment. Ive been missing out. The food is good and at a reasonable price. i have been here several times for breakfast now and have not been disappointed. The portions are good size and can really fill you up.The staff is also great. Most of the times I have been in the restaurant I have been waited on by Angie. She is very personable and helpful. She always has a smile on her face which is nice to see in comparison to some places that I have been to in the area. When I mentioned that I was looking for some low carb options she took out there menu and showed me all of there different options for breakfast and lunch.I have mostly gotten carryout orders but from what I have observed they have a loyal following of regulars that frequent the restaurant. The waitresses knew the patrons by name and were carrying on conversations with many of them. If you are in the area I recommend stopping by for a good meal at an affordable price.
Friendly, delicious, quick, and perfectly located along our route! The pita is that perfect kind of pita you hope itll be and the home fries are nice and crispy. The wait staff was so friendly and clearly had a great rapport with many regulars. Inviting and atmosphere, like in a movie about a small town diner.
Id give it a 5 star if the restaurant was clean (floors, bathrooms, window sills, and light fixtures need cleaning desperately) and they didnt make a mistake on my order the 2 times that I was there. I thought the first time was because they were busy, but I went again thinking everyone has a bad day. Well, theyre bad days are more consistent than I like so my family, friends, and I will not be returning.
This place is great! We went in there with our sons soccer team (as we were traveling) and they quickly and efficiently delivered us great service and delicous food for an affordable price, with nothing but smiles. Even among the chaos. They displayed awesome teamwork and we would definitely go back. Wish they were closer to us... Thanks for everything!
One of the best breakfast places Ive been to in a while. Its a little whole in the wall kind of place but well worth going in to eat. Their bacon is amazing. The hash browns are a bit different but really good. I will definitely will visit again when Im back in town.
Have the best staff treat you right just like family...Owners Jimmy.& Jr. Are super they come out and talk with you ask hows your family doing both are hard working family MEN.Food is GREAT PLACE IS VERY CLEAN..Fair prices. So I suggest you go over and give them a try you wont be disappointed..Russ & Rose Moore
Quaint little diner pumping out breakfast food with large portions at unbelievable prices! Most items are 6-7.00.Our party of threes total was under 20.00 and the food was fast and service was great. The owner was there ok a Sunday and even greeted every table. This is going to be our go to spot when visiting our daughter in college. My only regret was I didnt take photos of the food but will sure I turn that into a habit.I had the gyro, 2 eggs, home fries and toast for 5.99It was so satisfying!
Waitress was super friendly and when I ordered she showed me how to save money by getting the same thing but with a fry and drink because it was that days special. You will want to tip %50 because of the steam coming off your food, never having watered down drinks from melting ice, any special accommodations you may have a cared for and about. Wonderful people and almost impossibly, equally great food. Consistency is a major positive for Four Corners Restaurant.
5 Stars All Day!! I had to order a carry out for a pretty large group (14 ppl) and it was taken care of flawlessly. It was ready at the exact requested time and everything was perfect. Highly recommend for dine & carry out. Thank you to Jimmy & his team for taking care of us today :)
Today was my first time at this little joint, and I was brought by co-workers. They have breakfast all day, killer reuben sandwiches and chicken Cesar wraps. The lunch crowd packs the place, and you can count on waiting for a seat during the noon rush as the place is small inside... But so worth the wait! Great people, great food... The way it used to be before big chain restaurants. Ohh, and the tortilla soup is awesome too!
Not from around here, actually came to the area togo to the Rainforest cafe. Due to covid restrictions there was not available seating. Chose this restaurant randomly with low expectations. It. Was. Amazing. Everything we had was excellent and they had a wide selection. Will definitely revisit when we are around the area.
When you walk in, the owner greets you. This is a very close knit personal restaurant, where the regulars have regular seats and theres no need to order because its being made when you walk in.Its a nice feel, while dining I watched the owner take down his live plants one by one and water them. You can tell he cares about this business and his staff, they banter like family and it makes the atmosphere feel relaxed and homey.
I have ate here 4 times in 3 days, that is how good the food and service is here. Lots of choices on the menu for everyone. HUGE portions and are very reasonably priced. Definitely my new favorite locally owned restaurant. You must try this place as it is a well kept secret.
First time visiting this place. It was packed! Didnt have to wait for a table but it was full and lots of people coming in for takeout. Thats a sign of a good restaurant. The food was fantastic. The low carb kabobs were very tasty and filling. Will for sure be returning for another visit to try a different low carb dinner.
Food is very good. Been here multiple times and have gotten different things each time. Never had a bad meal here yet. Prices are very good as well. I got 3 meals each with soup and fries and three drinks and it cost $30. Great wait staff as well. Just an all around great place for breakfast or lunch
This wonderful restaurant has been in our neighborhood for 50 years or more and my whole family cherishes this place. When Family come from out of town they all have to go here for breakfast. I consider this a 5 + Star Restaurant. food is great Plus staff and cook are friendly and efficient.
Every meal here is fairly priced, tastes great and is served quickly. Only four stars because I used to swear by this restaurant as one of the only good ones around here, and then I got an awful waitress. Didnt bother to help our table, I had to get up to the counter say my wrap was made incorrectly. Kind of disappointed.
Got there at a busy time, 10:00 am on a Sunday. Had to wait.We were seated at a booth in no mans land right outside the restroom doors. The booths are extremely small. A booth for 4 could only seat 2 comfortably. The owner/greeter brought us coffee while we waited for a waitress to take our order. Coffee refills were hard to come by. One waitress walked right by us even though we had our empties on the edge of the table.I ordered the senior breakfast: 2 eggs, American fries and 2 sausages plus toast. Hubby ordered the southern omelet that came with toast and potatoes. We waited about 30 minutes for our food to come.....too long. At least it was served hot. Omelet and potato portions not spectacular. Like most breakfast places they rape you on what they charge for coffee. The tables had all the condiment you could want, including hot sauce and butter. The hot sauce had no label, but it was in a Franks-shaped bottle, so I assume thats what it was.The food was ok.....nothing spectacular. Giving it a 2 star because of booth size and slow service.
Huge selection of food, great prices, large portions, fast service, tasty food. Ate there for dinner one day and breakfast the next on our vacation, it was so good. Will definitely eat there again next time we are in Auburn Hills, and recommending it to anyone who goes there.
The best service!! We are from out of town and was attending a seminar so we were on a tight schedule. The owner and waitresses were very understanding and quick to make sure we were served and attended too without lack of presentation and quality!! Definitely recommend!!
I went here because I heard it was similar to a Coney and I really wanted some hot wings. I was seated it was extremely busy and I saw wings as an appetizer but not an option as a meal. When I asked about the wings she did not know what a wing ding was in comparison to a whole wing. That threw me off. The part of that threw me off the most is their wings are not offered as Buffalo they just give you sauce on the side. My date had a steak wrap fajita that actually tasted a lot like plastic. The steak was not fresh or maybe it was the endless vegetables Im not sure. The best thing about this place was the potato soup.
I work in transit and had the occassion ot a slow day at work. I have been working a job in the area for three days and could see the clientele. I was greeted at the door with service. The food exceeded expectations and was scrumptious. Angela took very good care of me and Tara was very attentive. Everyone actually looked happy to be at work. Julie is hilarious. I am writing this in real time and Angie just brought my food with a smile. That was fast.
Went in for the first time it was great and went back in for the second time was t great the waitress s were more worried out talking than doing there job im really big on service and how my food tastes food was on i had a skillet the hash rows were burnt and hard and I asked for lightly brown and it was blane no taste at all so not happy prob wont be back find another
Ordered Omelet asked for swiss they gave me American....eggs are brown...hash browns for my order good. My sisters order was regular breakfast but they gave her a baby sized portion of hash browns. She asked for rye toast they gave her wheat. Smh. My first time visiting and they arent that great. I recommend dining in because if they f up youd know. I ordered carry out.
Not impressed. Weak coffee. Meatloaf dinner tasted like the microwave variety, made with instant potatoes, canned gravy and veggies. Same for the chicken noodle soup. It tasted like it was from a can. They had a ton of breakfast options... perhaps that is where they shine.
Rude service never even got a chance to order being the waitress was to busy chatting it up with regulars. Her loss not mine being I tip at least 30%. I walked in looking dirty from my 12 hour shift at the plant she must of thought I was homeless being she hurried and run up to the table with the older gentleman who walked in 5 minutes after me. Stereo types are a b**** would of loved to eat a hot breakfast after my long night at work. But she mustve thought I was to poor to tip.. lmao. Well heres my stereo type for the day lady hope you enjoy the 2 dollar tip from the old man you lost out on my 5 dollar or more tip cause your rude.

2022-03-28This place is busy for sure. First time eating there. Food was average at best. Service left a lot to be desired. How does a place charge the same price for a child size soft drink as it does for a adult size…. And then offer no refills for either. First and last time there for sure.

2022-02-28Ordered off the Specials board. Seems like every meal comes with a bowl of soup.I had the chicken rice soup. It was very good. Could have used a little more chicken. Also had a southwestern chicken salad. It was HUGE. Enough for two meals. The rice in the bottom of the bowl was warm and the salad on top was cold. It was a fabulous combination. I will be back for that salad again. All of the staff was friendly from the bus boy to the waitress. Everybody had a smile.

2022-03-13We stayed in auburn hills for Supercross. We decided to stop here for breakfast the next morning to eat before we headed back home to northern MI. The atmosphere made me feel like we were ‘home’. The whole family/staff was super kind and accommodating. The food was phenomenal and their freshly ground coffee was superb. We will for sure come back in the future when we are in the area. ❤️

2022-04-30Horrible! food was bland, bacon was chewy like they cooked it ahead of time nothing was hot. Server stacy was horrible threw our straws on the table didnt give us coffee, and when we reminded her of the coffee she said some smart remark. Was very snooty when she asked us what kind of toast we wanted.

2021-11-06Family owned and operated, Excellent food, fast service and good prices! My 2 favorites are the greek salad with chicken kabobs or grilled pork chops AND the blueberry pancakes are the BEST in town. The rice pudding is homemade and delicious.
