If you want to get work done on anything here expect no status updates or timeframe. The service department is an absolute mess. Took over two weeks for a yearly service/maintenance check. They wont answer the phone so expect to walk in 4 times to check on the status of your service. You would think being a purchasing customer and then going back for maintenance would be simple and communication would be open. They are only concerned with high dollar customers. Ended up taking my bike elsewhere after it had been up on deck aka sitting in the shop for weeks. Just find a local mechanic. Much better communication and turn around times.
This is my first experience with getting my bike worked on, and I gotta say, Fox, specifically Craig VanDyke, went above and beyond in getting me taken care of!! From purchasing the tire, to getting me a last minute appointment for installation, my expectations were exceeded. Im not playing around anymore, any time I need help with my ride, Im getting into Fox!! I appreciate you, Craig, and the entire staff that helped me out today!! Thanks for being super kind while I hung out!!
Had my quad serviced here this week, and they service my Can-Am Ryker Rally and Tiger explorer as well.Service is always fast, efficient, and correct.I live in Battle Creek, and I drive an extra 90 minutes (round trip) to have my stuff serviced here, rather than the much closer Kalamazoo dealers- thats how highly I think of their sales & service.
Big shout out to Fox Powersports for getting my son setup on a Kawasaki Z125 Pro. The salesman was easy to deal with and made the process enjoyable. They got us all setup fairly quickly and even had permanent plate ready for the bike, so no temp tag. Ill be back when I need a new one or he is ready for an upgrade. Thank you!
First we have gone in there twice and the parts guys have given us wrong oil change kit for my spyder. Then disagrees when my husband brings it back says he gave us the right kit. When the 2 parts guys figure out that we were sold wrong kit they tell us it doesnt come with the o rings/seals. So he sells them separately to us. We get home the kit came with them all. Wont buy parts from them again.2nd I took 3 wheel bike class there. Was told class was 8 to 6pm. And we got out both days at 3pm. The instructor wasnt very nice. Each time I answered questions he said I was wrong then as hes explaining answer he then says well yeah what you said could be correct also. Not a good place.
Th I had some insurance work done on a bike in 2019 and it took all summer to get parts and get around to fixing it, causing me to miss several big opportunities. The final straw was getting pushback on tires, I wanted to switch away from stock tires as they werent really performing as I wanted, and their service writer got snooty and pushed back stating that the tires I wanted, despite being available for my bike and having superior quality in reviews werent worth installing. The second was that I wanted to replace both tires and was told I had thousands of miles left on the front. I Have since corrected it after investigating on my own from the manufacturer service data and the tire should have been replaced due to successive wear. Needless to say Ive found other places to get work done when I need it. Fox also owns GR Harley Davidson and the services Department there left another bike in a dangerous to operate state that was corrected by another HD dealer.
Horrible service and experiences, we decided to purchase 2 Kayos for our kids for Christmas. On the first service not even 10 hours on them we were told both clutches were shot and needed to be replaced on our dime as its not covered under the 4 year warranty. We ended up getting that covered but after them being there for over a month waiting on parts, the gas caps and other parts are rusted because they left them outside uncovered.
Got my 2021 zx6r from SHAWN. Beautiful bike. This man worked with me on everything and was super helpful and informative. Although he was very busy the day i bought the bike, he made the time to show me everything, extra parts, and even helped me load it safely onto a uhaul truck and strap it down. Who else would do that? This guy was awesome and the whole shop was clean, everyone else was super nice too. Thanks for the best buying experience ive ever had
Andy, Dallas & the Fox Team helped us obtain 5+ enclosed trailers with landscape package and extra 6 height clearance. We have come back to purchase more as these trailers help our Crews secure their gear and store the side-by-side UTV for safe keeping. And, we have also started purchasing several Honda Pioneer 700-4, 700-2 & 520 units outfitted with a poly roof, polycarbonate windshield and winch kit for our crews out in the field to navigate through rough terrain. Highly Recommended from Start to Finish.
I was looking to get a 2022 mt 09 and yamahas website said fox powersports had one in stock, called them that day asking for the out the door price. it was exactly the same price the dealership I work at in Brighton would do for a customer. I would have gotten it from C&C here in brighton but due to the shortages we are months and months out for that bike. Dallas is my saleman and he did a wonderful job answering my questions over the phone. the day I picked my bike up He wasnt their but I was referred to Sean who was very knowledgeable and helpful with the sale and the bike. Only negative I had with the sale was when I put my deposit down over the phone after I gave my card number I was told they got the invoice for the machine but its not phyically in the showroom yet. took just over a week to show which aint a big deal for being too cold to ride most days but if it was mid riding season Id definitely be a little upset. overall great experience and they will be the first dealer I look at for a new machine if we are in the same situation with my dealer
This is the worst service I have ever had. Got charged for 2 diagnoses, never told me the problem. Charged me $62 to remove my new battery and replace it. Just labor, never replaced the battery. Got home and no battery. They blamed me for not having a battery in it when I left, said its on my receipt. Yeah, I dont know. If they handed my bike back cuz they didnt want to put time in it, fine. Dont charge me $350 and then dont anything. Ill make sure every rider I know avoids this place. Im in sales/service. My customers trust me 100 percent.
Went in to inquire about endorsement classes. Initial wait time for Amy to come over and speak to another customer and I was not bad… where it went south was she only spoke to the other person, ignoring that I was right there only until I got up to leave and then wanted to speak.Don’t know what her issue is, but she needs to figure it out. Will not be making a purchase through them & will be looking elsewhere to get an endorsement.
I bought a brand new motorcycle from them in 2021. Bike had a few computer issues, no ones fault, got fixed ran fine, kinda. This year I Ive been calling them to fix a recall on my bike and fix anther computer issue. Wont pick up the phone, mail box is full. Left a message with a young lady, she took my phone number and apologized. Told me they would contact me. They have not.
I brought my motorcycle here for a crash estimate and repairs, as well as a quote for a few extra parts I already had on hand that I possibly wanted on. Not only did they go ahead and do work without giving me any estimates, but they didn’t even check the functionality of my bike. So now I have to bring it somewhere else because the clutch isn’t engaging and the brake lever is still broke, and the check engine light is still on. Service laughed in my face and also blatantly ignored me for the 6 months they had my bike. I called a dozen times, left voicemails, and went in at least half a dozen times all to be pushed to the side and none of my questions answered and none of my quotes ever sent to me. Plus, they stole my $150 atlas throttle lock and even my brake reservoir sleeve… my Worst experience I’ve ever had. Never going back, and I wouldn’t if I were you either.
I purchased a new 2022 Indian Roadmaster Dark Horse this spring from Fox Powersports. There were a few, significant problems with it. I would have sold it back to Fox if it wasnt for the persistence of Tim Arnold, the Indian brand technician/mechanic at the dealership. Tim, who has a passion for the brand, was very understanding of the problems. He did everything in his power to figure out what was wrong with the bike, even contacting the Indian factory himself in order to fix the issues. I definitely recommend Tim for work on your Indian motorcycle. He did a great job on my Roadmaster.Thank you Tim! Keep up the great work.
A very fine selection of motorcycles. They also have an equally large selection of ATVs. The clothing and gear selection is extensive as well! The brand selection includes Honda, Kawasaki, Indian, Ducati, Yamaha, CanAm, and Triumph. Plus, of course a bit of used motorcycles. The building is expansive and allows for good viewing for all.
Brought in a used motorcycle I had only owned for 2 weeks. After a month to get only 7 paid hours of labor done, I get told that a huge repair needs to be done that was close to the total of what I paid for the bike. Decided to just go back for my bike and figure out another option. After I pay for the service that had been done my bike is pushed out still taken apart, no seat or most of the plastic body parts. They bring out a box full of those parts only after I point this out. Today I am going through and I see that my air filter and throttle body are missing. I called and they claim that those should have been in the cardboard box they gave me. Who knows what else is missing that Ill never get back.UPDATE,The issue with my bike was a bad sensor. It was $200 for a new sensor and I needed a $20 to calibrate the sensor. To expand on the above I was told that the engine was leaking oil and it needed to be completely removed from the bike to be torn down and rebuilt. I was given an estimate of $1200 and that wouldnt even have been the issue as there is no old leak. Will not be returning to this location ever again
I took the MSF Basic Riding Course here with RiderCoach Todd Bradford. Todd was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and kind. He made the learning experience fun while drilling home the importance of safe motorcycling. At no point are you forced to move faster than you are comfortable. Todd will give you good coaching if you are doing something wrong but its always constructive. Fox provided brand new Yamaha TW200 bikes to learn on which are super forgiving and great for beginners. For anyone wondering, they sit low but if youre under 57 you may struggle a bit to get your feet flat on the ground. Also you are required to provide all your own gear here (helmet, long sleeves, long pants, sturdy boots that cover ankle, and gloves). Not a huge issue, but for some sinking several hundred dollars to buy a helmet could be off-putting especially considering other facilities provide loaner or rental helmets.
Ive been to many dealerships but this has to be the best one around. The staff was very attentive in every aspect of my motorcycle purchase. Ben Buurma was my salesman and made everything smooth even loaded up my bike into my van.The price was competitive, the finance department was great thanks to Patrick.I am hours away from this place but I know where Ill be purchasing my next bikes from. I would recommend this to everyone.
The team at Fox Powersports is awesome! Everyone I worked with was super helpful and personable. They really care about their customers, and they know exactly what theyre doing. Im happy to say Im the proud owner of a 19 CB1000R ABS. Fox Powersports went out of their way to find this bike at another dealer when there werent any left in Michigan. THANK YOU!!
Dropped my motorcycle for fork repair on June 12th, they said its fixed after 4 weeks came and picked it up, no difference at all they only replaced the seals. Now they said we need to do a full rebuild fork and today i stopped by to check whats going motorcycle in shop for 3 months for fork rebuild it outrages. Joel the counter guy tried to make me pay labor again until i spoke to the manager. On top of it i will share pictures of the fender scratches when they replaced the fork seals, let see whats being scratched now on full rebuild. One thing Im sure i am never coming back here again.
Great service, great staff. Fox Powersports has what we need every visit and then some! Purchased my sons first gas bike here and had an excellent experience. A big thank you to Ben for cooperating with other Fox Family employees and making dreams come true! #ridered 🏁🦊🤙
I tell you, when it comes to customer service, for the front end has been wonderful in which I can I put give you this portion because it is still being serviced due delay of parts from the manufacturer. Shout out to Chris and Joel for high class communication even when there is nothing to update. That makes a big difference when dealing with service based companies. Living in the Muskegon Id rather drive to Fox Powersports than bring it to a local service & sales company. Thanks again for building that trust between service base & customer relationship.Highly recommend these guys to anyone.
Im restoring an old 70s Honda CB500 and stopped by to see what parts might still be available. Fox still had some new old stock parts and helped me sort through some of the aftermarket parts. I walked away with just about everything on my list. They pointed me in the right direction on some obscure stuff I was looking for. Its reassuring knowing Im buying quality parts. You never know the quality of parts purchased online. John Meredith and the guys in the parts department are awesome.
Bought a new 19 Can Am Outlander 650 XT 4wheeler here, John was great to deal with, very informative with me on the phone about different makers & models for about 30 minutes . He literally talked himself out of a sale, being the information he gave me, I knew of a used machine that would do what I wanted for a lot less money. I took to long on deciding and that machine sold !! So even though he was 3 hours away from my house, I bought from him being, he was so informative on the phone before
Dallas was absolutely amazing! He helped us get into our new toy. He was professional, kind and patient. Dallas took the time to follow up after the purchase to ensure we were happy. We also had the opportunity to meet with the manager who was more than accommodating to us. Overall we had an excellent experience with Fox. We truly felt like a valued customer.
Wide variety of equipment available with specialist sales personel in each area. On site practice lot.Great communication between team members made a seamless finance and purchase.Congenial sales staff: Brandon was patient, professional, and precise from start to finish. He made his availability on pick-up day seem effortless; in spite of being in the middle of multiple projects. The sincerity of his offer for follow up customer service is unique to any major purchase, ever.It doesnt hurt that we took home the most handsome and unique motorbike on the premises!
Great experience! A new Scout in June and a new Chieftain Darkhorse in August....love them both and rode both today....its November and still able to put time on the bikes. I will be back for sure! Need to trick them out a bit.First service on the Darkhorse was top notch as well. Thank you!
Was sold a bike which they said the title was coming from Ohio. After 2 weeks of them telling me it was in the mail, and lying to me about the progress of the title, the manager told me he was not aware of the issue. After research, the bike appears to be in the original owners name still. There is still no end in sight on resolving this. I told them I would rather cancel the deal if they cant give me real information on the status of the title. Basically I was told since I signed the paperwork legally Im stuck. Now I have NO bike, an 8k loan, and out the down payment. Hopefully they will see this and make it right.
I am very impressed with the service from fox! They did a great job and stood behind their work!I wrote this review a year ago because I had a great service experience then. However this time what I asked to have dont wasnt completed, the person who took the service order never called because she had the day off and no one took over her orders so it sits till they get back to work? Because all the service wasnt done now my bike sits for 3 days more to have what I wanted done after sitting there for a week and a half already! Seems like I should have been contacted as to why it wasnt completed and maybe gone back over what I wantd done in the first place to make sure it was correct!
Called and have had to leave messages with the voicemail of the riding academy scheduler multiple times to get into a class. This has been happening for 2 weeks and I never get a call back. If they don’t answer the first time (which they won’t) don’t waste your time calling back, look elsewhere.
Ozzy was fantastic as usual as was all the staff that helped me through the process. They gave me a fair and reasonable price for my trade-in and had the exact bike I wanted in stock. The service center got the new bike prepped and ready in a timely fashion and it was super clean and polished when I road off with it the same day. The buying process and paperwork was a breeze and after a few coffees I was off on the new ride. Thanks again Ozzy!!
Just took delivery of a new Sea Doo Fish Pro, and had the opportunity to work with the Service department. Scott was an excellent communicator, and kept all his promises. Thanks Scott. Nice work by you and your team!Looking forward to having you and your top notch team do all my service. Thanks for your attention to detail and professionalism.
If you want to catch Covid-19 this is the place for you. Staff avoids you but when they do talk to you or other employees the mask is useless. Dont worry though, customers arent required to wear masks either even though there are plenty of signs. Highly recommend to catch a pandemic virus.
I went there on Saturday March 17th, 2018 to purchase a 2017 Ducati Supersport. They were initially very friendly and helpful. I was able to take it for a ride and really loved it. I worked with Patrick to start the paperwork and made a deposit. I worked with Bill in accessories to get my $750 work of Ducati stuff for the deal that was going on. Monday morning I called and spoke to Bill regarding a few things I found on the web site that Id like him to get me info on. He said he had two people ahead of me and would get back to me. Tuesday evening I called to talk to Bill as I had not heard from him. I was told he was busy and the person took my info. Wednesday I still had not hear from him. I email Patrick a question. Thursday I still have not heard back from Bill nor Patrick. Thursday evening I decided that if their customer support was this lacking then Id prefer not to give them my money. I called and spoke to a sales manager and told him Id like my money back as I was not satisfied with the service or lack thereof and he reluctantly agreed to give me my down payment back. I will not be going back there ever. Which really sucks because Ive been wanting a Ducati for a very long time.UPDATE:Its now June 4th. We ended up working things out with the purchase. They admitted (not Bill, I never heard from him) they made a mistake so I decided to get the bike and do the 0% financing. When I was there to pick it up I was looking at the gloves and I saw Bill not too far away and I think he saw me and instead of coming over to say sorry for the mix up, he turned around and walked away... nice... So, the reason for the update, yesterday I went to go for a ride and there was an oil leak. I have less than 100 miles and its leaking oil? What did I buy, a 1980s Harley? Ill update once this is taken care of, assuming it is... Strike two...UPDATE: They picked up the bike on Monday. Tuesday I was told a plug was leaking and they sealed it and were going to wait a day then check it. Wednesday I received an email from Oscar saying the Ducati rep was there and it needed some gaskets replaced and it would be ready next week. I then reply asking if I can just return it since it has less than 100 miles and it needs gaskets replaced and I no longer want to own this bike. He said hed ask. Thursday I received an email from Tim asking when we can meet and I told him Im not driving up to Grand Rapids and he can email or call me. Friday he emails me his number and says to call him anytime. I was busy Friday so I called him today. He didnt answer so I left him a message and sent him an email I guess he was too busy as I havent heard back from him. I also emailed Oscar and now Im waiting for a reply. I just want my money back so I can go buy a Honda Ive had two motorcycles and two CRVs and have had no problem. I no longer want this bike. Ill always wonder what else was not done right at the factory and wont feel safe driving it.UPDATE 6-15-18:The Ducati has been repaired, but they cant get it back to me until next week. So, thats at least 2 weeks to fix a brand new bike. I also purchased the VIP service to expedite repairs. I guess all that money doesnt matter. Ive read about others having to wait a long time to get their bike fixed. I guess this is what I have to look forward to until I sell the Ducati.... joy.. I will certainly post my experiences here for other to be warned.Update: I got the 600 mile service and some recalls done. They returned the bike and the turn signal integrated in the recall mirror is not working and they sent me a bill for $662, which should have been covered by the VIP and warranty. I called and they took care of the bill, but that should have been done when they worked up the bill.... More disappointment.
NEVER again will i use foxes services, EVER after they messed up the installation of my ape hangers on my Harley I Bring it back in to show and tell them about all my mirrors/blinkers/cables all of that was loose. only to be told that I MUST HAVE DONE IT by the tech, the desk guy grabbed my bike and brought it back into the shop and when they came out the tech told me i was wrong about the mirrors being loose and that i must have brought it in that way, which is absurd because i road the bike in when i dropped it off and the fact that they took all of that off but the tech said “i never touched that stuff”. so after i was told that it was my fault and if there is anything else we can help you with i left road about 6-7 mile parked my bike at home went to sleep went to work came home and went to detail my bike noticed there was a huge gash in my rear left blinker and a broken back tail light. i will NEVER use FOX POWERSPORTS again and i am going to tell EVERYONE about how terrible the service and how terrible they treat there customers, they broke my bike they did a horrible job on instillation and they blamed there terrible instillation on ME! like how is it my fault your tech did a horrible job? i do not ever want you guys toughing my bike or anyones anything. horrible horrible horrible job.
We were very pleased with the service. Todd in sales was the reason why my husband purchased his dream motorcycle. We had looked elsewhere, and as a result of poor customer service, we decided not to buy. So glad we crossed paths with Todd!! The Indian Roadmaster is simply beautiful and a perfect fit. Brooks, in accessories, was GREAT to work with. She knows her product and has a great personality! The reason why we didnt give 5 stars is because we ordered two jackets and are still waiting on them to come in.
First time motorcycle buyer.......went in and had multiple people ask if I needed help before a salesperson came up. Excellent customer service right off the bat! Brandon was a huge help, absolutely amazing at making me feel comfortable even though I was completely out of my element. He got me onto the bike I wanted, the sales process was quick and painless, the finance team was excellent, overall a great experience. My bike even needed to run through inspection, and it was a Tuesday, so Brandon said I could probably have your bike ready for you next week. I was patiently waiting and then Friday of the same week he called and said it was already done and they would deliver to my house that day. Super pumped to get it earlier than expected. Nothing bad at all to say about this place or the people that work there, first class all the way!
Excellent experience from a great dealership and a gorgeous facility too! Ozzy is a top notch person and sales associate, honest, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Eric in finance was courteous, respectful, thorough and easy to work with. Thanks to everyone at Fox Powersports!
Went in to look over the Indian motorcycles. Salesman was helping another customer. I looked over the bike. Interacted with the salesman enough to ask about sitting on the bike. He then went on to finish up his customer, start someone else while ignoring me.I went out to Hudsonville and got myself a Harley instead.
I recently purchased a 2020 Suzuki GSX-R600.Im a bit concerned with the service department here. Their lack of attention could have caused a serious accident. After arriving home we checked the tire pressure and BOTH tires were above 65psi. That is absolutely unacceptable. The steering stem was also loose. We checked it and it was not to torque.I rode this bike 45 minutes back to Kalamazoo and around town a bit. I am grateful that nothing happened while I was on the bike.Sales guy was nice to work with. He provided as much detail on the bike as he could. Financing people were nice as well.
Bad.spent $1400.00 on maybe $300 in parts.got quad back..(brakes rear) not even working they were never readjusted from service they did .I had to do it myself .If I wanted to do the work on the quad myself I succeeded. Also have them install a small lite on a existing bracket on front of quad....charged me 200$.shame on me for not getting a quote 1st..didnt think they would bend me over and charge me for 2 hours labor for lite install.if u need work done look elsewhere or beware..get a $ quote .......
Came in to purchase one or two 400cc class motorcycles. We were looking for KTM’s but they didn’t carry the brand, so we looked at other models. We were helped by John who rolled up a couple bikes for us to look at. We were previously given a quote by another dealer (Ziegler Powersports) on these same models, and when he gave us a price it was $1000+ higher. We asked if he would price match, and that’s something he said they don’t do. John went on to say how much combined experience his company service has compared to Ziegler powersports. “We have 130 years combined experience, Ziegler’s has 2” - alluding to his justification on the price all the while tearing down Ziegler’s service dept. We’re not looking for a service department an hour away, we’re looking to purchase a motorcycle. We ended up walking out.Long story short - save some time and money and take the drive to Ziegler Powersports. They sold us two motorcycles the same day.Fox Powersports only had poor things to say about Ziegler, and Ziegler only had positive things to say about Fox. Our salesman at Ziegler even recommended we get a quote for comparison from you guys. Dont try to boost your companys image by tearing down another. Thanks John!EDIT : Make that 4 motorcycles.
By far the most excellent service I have ever received. Ordered a new ride and the salesperson, Brandon Slomp, kept me informed of the progress every step of the way. I received pictures, was told exactly what to expect, and there were no surprises when I went to pick it up. The process was smooth and easy and even included my trade-in. All staff we encountered were friendly and greeted us in passing. I intentionally chose this place which is almost 3 hours from where I live because I had heard so many positive things - and I definitely was not let down. Because of my interaction with them I will also have them complete other services for me as well. I HIGHLY recommend them!!!
These guys were incredibly busy but handled everything very well, got me in and out quickly while also giving me every piece of information I needed as well as tips to riding and caring for my new bike. They also delivered my bike incredibly fast! Great group of people to work with, super happy I chose fox!
The service department is a joke. They rip your machine apart with no care or attention paid. They break things during the process, loose fastners, strip bolts and just yank plastics apart. They will leave your machine outside, in the elements, torn apart and not protected. The excuse from service manager is They dont have facilities to accommodate. The office staff is very alert and helpful....as long as you are purchasing. If you need assistance after purchase that service is non existent as well. I have been waiting on the refund of my extended warranty for over 6 months. I refuse to recommend Fox to anybody nor will ever spend money there again! If there was a negative star option, I would have chosen that.
Fair pricing, great customer service, candy store of recreational products - what more could you ask? My purchase of a new motorcycle and trade-in of my old bike could not have been smoother. I was impressed that Brandon gave me a new bike off the show room floor for a test ride. I had a problem with some Klim gear that I purchased which Fox returned under warranty and obtained a new replacement for me. Im happy with my new bike and gear and my dealings with Fox.
Just purchased a Canam Defender Max Limited from Ozzy. What a great experience and incredible machine! I highly recommend both Ozzy and the team there, none better in the business! Below is my first Canam purchase review, and now I just completed number 2, couldn’t be happier!Worked with Ozzy to purchase my first CanAm machine. I was looking at Polaris products so I had a lot of questions. Ozzy was incredibly responsive in answering all my questions and put me at ease when purchasing the 850XT. The machine is a beast! Incredibly well put together and the accessories are a breeze to put on and off. When other dealers wouldnt even return a phone call, Ozzy made the buying experience painless and Im incredibly happy with my ATV! Additionally, the parts manger and everyone Ive experienced in the parts department share Ozzys passion for taking care of the customer. Id give 6 stars if possible! I highly recommend Fox Powersports and their Team!
Super rude sales staff, they dont care about customers at all and its obvious.Edit:. Youve had a lot of chances to turn it around and have decided youd rather have rude sales services instead. Ive bought two bikes from competitors now and will buy every bike from competitors for the rest of my days.To anyone reading: Just call other dealerships and ask if they have the bike you want and the out the door price, youll usually find a better deal than Fox. I got a new z125 for $3600 out the door and a discounted helmet from VanDerZee motorplex --- thats $600 cheaper than Fox. And the guy was super nice and helpful.
I scheduled an appointment and dropped my bike off for very minor maintenance like new tires which I provided, and a few other small things. Was promises 1-2 weeks at most. It is now 5 weeks later and still no guarantee of when I will have it back… I call weekly and it’s the same story of how the tech hasn’t started working on it yet but they tell me he will start in a couple days, this has been going on for weeks now!! It’s sad they’re the only Ducati dealership around this area but I will gladly drive to Chicago next time for better timely service. Most of the summer will be gone by the time my bike is done…
Bought a 2021 KX250f last month and the whole process was quick fast and easy. Hannah hooked me up with a great deal, Sean and Dallas in sales gave me the run down on it, Chris Casey in service ran me through the services I’d need for it. Left the store feeling like I knew everything I needed with the bike and at the best price I could get it at. 11/10
Brought them my new wheels to have new tires installed. They completely damaged both wheels, did a shotty job of balancing and forgot to give me my valve stem caps? They are offering to repaint my brand new wheels? Now, why would I accept getting my new wheels repainted because of damage done by their service dept. Service manager tried to blame the damage on my too... Beware of their quality of work...
Really LOVE the service and experience. I ride little, but when I do I need everything to be top notch. Top notch techs! Top notch service! Fair rates!! Genuine Yamaha knowledge. But my oil change was $170....I didnt ask.Used to Babbitts. My fault.I had oil and filters in my garage....Ugh.You guys are great, but my bike is only worth $4k. I run rotella synthetic in the johnny.... $30 oil change that takes 5 minutes.Busy good people who fit me in, but yo, dont ask to have an oil change done while theyre there lol
Service is ridiculously slow!! I do not know what the problem is - perhaps it’s the same issue everyone else has that they can’t find help. I’m trying to be gracious in saying that. We bought our machine in November, of 2020, and it has been in for service twice....each time for a month!!! We have lost out on vacations because of this!!! I will absolutely be demanding my very expensive warranty gets extended, because it has sat in their shop for weeks and weeks. You can’t make an appointment to get your machine fixed, you just have to drop it off and wait......and wait......and wait!!
One of the best buying experiences. Finally a dealer and sales person who actually knows motorcycles and rides which allows them to share additional information. It was also nice that the sales person helped maximize all offers/rebates and discounts from the manufacturer which saved me a considerable amount of money. Even though Im quite familiar with motorcycles, the delivery walk through was helpful especially with some of the newer technology.
Bought my first motorcycle over the holiday break from Fox Powersports. Best selection in the state, you can look at virtually any bike you would want in person. They were very friendly and informative without being too pushy trying to make a sale. The process of completing the transaction was fast and smooth, Ben in sales took good care of me and I highly recommend them!
So much for taking my bike to the professionals. When I dropped the Bike off I was told that it would be a week to 10 days before they could looks at it. At 2 weeks i was told that I was on the schedule for later that week.. At 3-1/2 weeks i called and was first told that it wasn’t on the schedule yet. When reminded of our previous conversation I was back on the schedule again. After 4 weeks i got a message that they had finally looked at it but had to order parts 2 weeks later i called and the parts were in but now they had a couple big jobs ahead of me. At this time I reminded them That I had already canceled one bike trip and that I was scheduled to leave to go back to florida for the winter. I was assured that it would be ready in time. So after almost * weeks I was told it was ready. So after almost 8 weeks and $1300 for a master cylinder repair and an emergency brake issue I picked my bike up. I drove it home(15 miles) loaded it in the trailer and left 3 days later for Florida. Upon arriving at my florida home I unloaded my bike just to find that i still have an issue with the parking brake. The same issue that i previously had. SO MUCH FOR TAKING IT TO THE EXPERTS. I now have to take it in again Hopefully the professionals down here are more dependable than Fox power Sports. I would drive 100 miles to find another dealer before i would go to Fox again.
Friendly staff, very helpful parts center employees, unfortunately they are very slow. Its great when you get to the counter and they make sure you get exactly what you need. However standing inline for an hour with only 2 people ahead of you is a bit frustrating. Also parts department hardly ever actually picks up their phone so that is frustrating as well.
Walked in picked a bike and bought it. Took maybe 45 mins and that was me mostly trying bikes. The service there was awesome! Had one hiccup but they went above and beyond for me. Hannah Pearson is amazing and did way more than she needed to even after the bike was home. Bank wanted a New ID and getting into SOS is nearly impossible but she searched and got me an appointment within the week. I will be buying all my toys from them from now on.
Although I had issues getting help from the parts department and got the wrong part, because they were at the time short staffed... Mr Morgan contacted me and was a great help. He took the time to make sure it was the correct part I needed before sending it out to me. He is very dedicated in truly helping customers. Thank you so much Brian! My motorcycle is back on the road and safe!
Helpful staff and a large selection of gear and powersports vehicles. Sleds, dirt bikes, motorcycles, wave runners, side by sides, quads and even mopeds are available here from all the major brands. Great service department to keep your toys running or improve them with items from the parts department.
Recently purchased a Can-Am Outlander 570 DPS from Fox Power sports. They are all around great to work with. Ozzy in sales is the man to talk to. He listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly what I needed. He never once tried to up sell me on this or that. Finance team was fantastic, they got everything ready in a short time and I took delivery the next morning. Great job Fox.
Had a great experience with Ben. He was quick to respond to emails, and make phone calls when figuring out details of my purchase. Everything was lined up for purchasing my SXS when I got there. He went out of his way standing in the freezing cold to help me load it in the trailer. Overall extremely happy with my experience, and would recommend going through Ben to anyone. Thanks again!
Honesty is not the fox powersports policy.A couple months ago I drove over 2 hours to go see a used motorcycle that I was promised had never been dropped or laid down before. When I show up to see it in their poorly lit sales room I could see a sizable dent on the left side of the tank. I didnt mind this too much because I was promised the internals were sound and that the only issues with the bike were the cosmetic ones that I had seen in the showroom. After purchasing the bike and getting it out into the sun, more scrapes and small dents started to show themselves. Still not a big deal. But it gets worse. Before I purchased the bike I explicitly asked if there was going to be any future service needed soon. I was reassured that there was NOTHING wrong with the engine and that it was ready to ride. Upon further inspection I found that the aftermarket exhaust had not been tuned to match the compression levels of the engine which can lead to serious issues if not taken care of immediately. I called the salesman, Dallas, and he simply responded with, yeah you should probably get a tuner and get that taken care of. This cost me almost $1000 more.I also recently performed an oil change at 2000 miles. Dallas had also told me that the bike had been through the fox powersports service department and all fluids had been changed including the oil. This was a lie. The oil that came out of my bike was jet black and had probably only been changed once in the 11k miles it had on it.As somebody that holds a degree in Marketing and has run their own company, there are certain ethics, morals, and basic business practices that need to be followed. These salespeople are scum. The BBB will be contacted.
The sales department took care of all my needs for my kids first dirt bike! Smooth process, strait forward pricing and very polite. Lexi in accessories took care of outfitting both boys with helmets, googles and boots. Thank you Fox for helping the boys get riding on the dirt. Great experience!
This was my first purchase for a toy and Ozzy could not have made it any smoother! AP and the rest of the team were amazing as well. Patrick in the finance department got me the very best deal he could and in the end saved me money. They also delivered my sled for me to a 40 minute away destination at no charge. I will be happy to do business them again! Thanks so much!!!
**final edit**I was able to get my scooter serviced in a timely manner and am very pleased with the work performed.**edit**I spoke with staff there and there are really working to help me out. I am super thankful for the reach out. I will update more once we get service done.I called over the weekend to try to schedule an oil change and tune up for my vespa and was told they do not make service appointments and that I could drop my vespa off and they may be able to ‘get around to it’ in about 3-4 weeks.
Ozzy provided an amazing experience during our first bike purchase! He was very knowledgeable, so easy to get along with, and helped us find the perfect bike that we felt comfortable on. I recommend anyone visiting Fox Powersports to request Ozzy as their salesperson! He went above and beyond, and was patient with us every step of the way. I will definitely be back! Thanks so much Ozzy!
Ozzie and Hanna went above and beyond my expectations in the midst of a family emergency. They provided a level of service I never imagined. I was referred by a friend, they made my first new sled purchase an amazing experience. Everything that I had going on they made sure to follow up with me on my family and ensured the process was seemless. I can tell you without a doubt they just earned a customer for life! Probably the most rewarding purchase I have ever made thanks to Ozzie and Hanna. Kudos to these two!
Two months ago I made the impulsive decision to sell my car and try to commute with a better carbon footprint. I ordered a Vespa Primavera Bosco Verde from a company close to me in Allen Park. This was 6 weeks ago. I’m a fairly sarcastic person, and I mostly used texts, but in no way did I feel informed or confident about my purchase. When their inventory was received I wasn’t notified, and had to reach out myself a week later. My bike wasn’t in the correct color and they tried to sell me a racing 60’s in its place. The price of adding the accessories was a turn off. It would have been more than the model that included them! And I wanted the scooter I ordered...I saw it at Fox Powersports! Unfortunately the color is hard to get a hold of, but within a minute of being on the phone with Ozzy(who explained things knowledgeably& honorably) I knew I made the right choice taking my business elsewhere. *Between him and Hanna (financing) they got me ready to pick up in 2 days. The bank was difficult to deal with, but my emails always updated me, and if I didn’t get back to them right away, a friendly & prompt phone call would be made.I arrived late driving from Detroit, but Ozzy and his team stayed late. When I got there I was given a thorough tutorial and led to the practice area. It was my first solo ride, so the next day Ozzy called to make sure I was okay. No salesperson voice, a genuine man who wanted to make sure I had everything I need.I would trust anyone I know to purchase anything these folks have to offer.*this is a pandemic. The first dealer was probably working to the best of his ability. I just found this collective to have my best interests at heart.
Bike was delivere, started doing engine break-in miles and had strong smell of burning rubber. Called dealer to inquire about alignments and laser wheel alignment, or was this normal engine wearin as later stated by service dept. Did 600 mile engine break-in and headed west to the Decotas. Noticed dash coming apart in Wisconsin. Called Fox from ND, no return call. Repaired by dealer in Grand Forks. Still having the smell of burning rubber occasionally. Home 2 weeks later. Wash bike and see heavy rubber dust on rear axle. Called another dealer that said this potential dangerous and I should not ride the bike. Call Dan in sales bounced to service who will call me yet that day. But dust is probably from brakes. Set up transport through BRP, additional 375$. No call from service, cancelled pickup and delivery from BRP. Found different dealer for first oil change. The dust was from the belt drive which has an adjustment and is supposed to be inspected every oil change. Apparently this was never done at assembly. I would NEVER trust the service dept. at Fox. They appear to be a get it done and out the door get paid dealer. They have no concern for you, or you safety.
Ive purchased a motorcycle from Fox when it was on 29th St. Huge selection and State of the art showroom. Stopped by on a Tuesday and most sales consultants were talking about bs. Hardly any ATVs for kids, and not a single representative talked to us without me approaching them. They had to check inventory on the computer. Kind of a take it or leave it approach. I miss the days where GR had multiple dealerships and everyone working, had extensive knowledge of what they were selling. Who cares if you make a sale....
I better bite my tongue on this one, let me ask my better half; wait a minute she’srunning... we go there quite a bit, spent a lot of money on accessories, and always get discounts. Have yet to purchase big ticket item, each time we come close we find it somewhere cheaper. Hopefully after the pandemic calms down & prices come back to normal, I can buy some thing locally, most of the salesman are fantastic to work with, except for the Indian sales; I must not look like the type of person they want to sell an Indian to- Although I’m more than 25% Cherokee.
First time using the service department (God awful experience)I asked if I could schedule an appointment and they said they don’t do that. But it would be only a week to a week and a half. Two weeks later I stopped by and saw my bike on the ramp. Figured I should get it back the next day. I paid and waited two days with no phone call. I called two days in a row until I finally got an answer. They were waiting on one part.About a week later I called and asked if it was done yet. They then told me that they needed more then a fuel rail but forgot to tell me. So here I am another week later. They we going to drop my bike off on Monday. However when I updated my address and phone number with the young man at the service counter he must of been pretending to update my information. Because they were going to drop my bike off at an address I lived at 8 years ago. Then turned into Tuesday. I have called the service department and left a message if they were still dropping my bike off. So far I haven’t even got a phone or txt message. I tried to get ahold of anyone to ask if the service department works on Tuesdays and told them that I haven’t been able to get ahold of anyone. The sales lady just forwarded me to the service departments number again after I told her I haven’t been able to get ahold of any one.Stay away from this service department. Go anywhere else. Somehow an oil change and detail costed me $600.Update it is now changed to Wednesday with no phone call or txt message telling me The updated delivery day.Why did Smokin Joe have to sell his Indian dealership to Fox!Update: My bike had damage to the push button start. They chipped 2.5 inches of the chrome off. As for the detail job. There is still bugs on it. It looks like they didn’t use water and soap. They charge a 125 dollars for this service.I have contacted the GM to see if they are going to fix the damage.Final update: Fox offered to replace the part that was damaged and install it for free. I excepted the new part that was damaged. I did decline the offer to install the part for free. I would rather pay someone else to put it in. The GM was a nice person. Hopefully he will fire the current Service Manager and get a new crew that won’t treat your hard work like a two legged pig slated for the back woods slaughter house.
I worked with John Maloof for my new Can-Am ATV, the whole staff was very helpful from beginning to end. John walked me through the whole process and helped me get into the right ATV. Fox Powersports has the best and friendliest customer service out of all the dealerships I contacted. The parts department is very nice too! Awesome experience!
I live in Plainwell and have several options of motorcycle dealerships to choose from between Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids. I honestly wont even consider any other place to purchase a bike or gear from. Though everyone there is extremely helpful, Ozzy Elian has been my salesman for all 6 motorcycles Ive purchased through Fox Powersports; He genuinely cares about getting you into the right bike and is very helpful with any questions you have. He is someone Ive come to trust to make me the best deal for what Im looking to do, without having to negotiate - Most of you reading this most likely know this can be quite rare at other dealerships. Stephanie Falkiewicz will most likely be one of the first people to greet you if youre looking for help as well - She is very knowledgeable and will definitely get you pointed in the right direction. She initially helped me find the particular bike I was looking for and finalized my sales paperwork for my purchase, breaking everything down to be easily understood. If you stop in, make sure to say Hi to these folks and you wont be disappointed. This dealership is truly a great company and the employees, hands down, make it what it is - I have nothing but great things to say about Fox Powersports.
Took my vehicle in for service and had a fantastic experience. Joel was on top of every detail and kept me updated regularly. The showroom is huge and they have every toy under the sun. Could happily spend a day here just looking around. More inventory than I have ever seen anywhere else.
I brought in a rear wheel to have the tube replaced and the techs scratched the rim in multiple areas. They tried to hide it by using a sharpie. When I asked about it they said thats just what we do. Absolutely terrible ethics if you ask me. I will not be returning!!
Cant say Im impressed.I contacted Fox through Facebook and they answered within a day. I expressed interest with purchasing a side by side. I recieved an email from one of their Sales men asking for my phone number. I sent him back my number and another additional email on the two side by sides I was interested in. These emails were a few days apart.Never heard back from him or received a call. My husband and I went onto Fox and wandered around for 30 plus minutes. No one said hi, or asked us if we needed anything, only looked at us.Took my $30k plus business elsewhere and wont be back.I only rated it 2 of 5 because the building was nice and clean.
Sales department is great, Ozzy was fantastic.Parts is okay.Service was downright terrible. Had dropped off my motorcycle for service, just some fluid changes and a couple switches replaced. I was promised time and time again that it was getting worked on and would be ready soon. Had to wait almost 2 months, and the bill was double what i agreed to. Go to pick up the bike, and the fluids were not changed, despite the service rep reassuring me everything was done. Had to wait another few days for it to be done properly. Apart from warranty work on my side by side, i will never go back here for service. Felt very taken advantage of and disrespected. Overpriced and sketchy, work was haphazardly done and unexplained charges were all over my bill. Highly recommend steering clear of the service departmen .
Stopped here today to get some gear and handlebars after my sons recent wipeout. Jerry immediately greeted us and was a huge help with my son and finding the proper fit of his gear. A true professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. We will definitely come back again!
My wife and I just recently bought a couple sports bikes here. She got hers first which was a 2017 Ninja 650, bike was like new. They worked with us and we feel like we got an amazing deal. Then about a month later she surprised me with a 2012 Z1000. Again they worked with us and feel like we got a great deal. Our sales guys name was Sal, he was amazing to work with, everyone there we talked to where amazing. Sal did a great job working with us and getting us great deals. He was able to answer any question we had and if he didnt have the answer he got us with someone that did. Amazing team of people. What ever power sport your looking for visit them and ask for Sal!
Dan was absolutely great to work with. He was able to answer any and all questions related to my purchase. He kept me informed and up to date with the progess of my side by side. After I picked up my Side by Side. He followed up on his off day just to see how everything was. Very satisified with Dan and Fox Powersports to make sure I was taken care of from beginning, end and after.
Absolutely the BEST experience making a larger purchase I have had. I went to a couple of other dealerships before I went to Fox. The differences are almost immeasurable. There was no pressure yet the staff was readily available. My salesperson, Ozzy, was phenomenal. He answered all of my questions without asking me to sit down and run the numbers once. Again though, when I was ready, we worked out a great deal. The staff in the accessories area are equally as helpful. I HIGHLY recommend Fox Powersports. Great inventory, staff, and showroom.
I recently purchased an 2019 MT-09 from them. I worked with john and pat. Both were helpful and they had good deal on bike. While there the boyfriend and i walked around when waiting to get license plate & other things set up. Was looking to get new helmet as well. Bill was very helpful. Helped me in finding good helmet, military discount, put pin lock on shield for me, etc. It wasnt until I got home & tried breaking helmet in by wearing around the house that realized the helmet was too big. Felt looser than the one i tried in the store. Called them and they said would order smaller size and ship to me (i live 3 hours away) and when i get my new one, I can send back the other one. I also liked how i was able to do it all in one day considering i do live further away. They also have decent prices.
I went here a few weeks ago to purchase 1 of the 2 quads they had listed on their website for over a month. We got there a few minutes before they opened. When I asked about them, they said they had been sold a few days ago. We were told they would have another shipment the next week and they would call me when in. 4 weeks later, still no call. Also sent 2 emails over the last 3 weeks and no response. Apparently this company is too big to handle updating their inventory online, respond to emails and making phones call. Anything sold at a dealership has a VIN # and is given a stock # or ID # from that dealership. Inventory should automatically update when something is sold. I truly feel they were lying to us and holding these 2 in the back for other people who may or may not have purchased them. If I could give zero stars and still post, I would.
Outstanding! My daughter had a gift card and had her heart set on a snowmobile jacket but it was over her card amount. Scott helped her to adjust the price instantly so she was able to walk out with the best Christmas present ever!!! And today we have snow! Thanks so much for helping make her snowmobile season great! Give Scott a raise!
Sales, parts and accessories is pretty great but the service center is one of the worst I’ve experienced. I’ve had my vehicle in many times. They take far too long to complete the work, they’re over priced for the quality of work they do and every single time I’ve picked my vehicle up, I’ve found that they have damaged something on my vehicle.I know I’m not the only one to experience these issues with Fox. A friend just picked up his bike (that they had for over two months) and they lost his windshield and fairings.I’ve had plenty of bad experiences with their service Dept. too. Everything from lost parts, damage due to accidents while in their ship and total hack jobs from their installers. Not to mention extremely poor communication from the service writer. Telling me my vehicle was ready for pick up, then when I get there they said they just pulled it back in the shop to finish the work. I went back the next day because they called and said it was ready again. I told them I’d be there in an hour but they failed to tell me they closed in 30 minutes. I definitely wouldn’t recommend ever getting a vehicle serviced here. Too bad they bought out most of the smaller shops in the area. But I guess with such poor customer service they had to buy out all the competition.
I really couldn’t think of a better place to purchase from. These guys go above and beyond for their customers and all are riders! I never remember actually having fun talking to the finance manager when purchasing, but Danielle is awesome and got me great financing. John Maloof in sales was so helpful and friendly, form the very beginning and made sure I was ready to go and got out the door with a great bike and in a timely manner. Shout out to Matt as well who helped me until John was available. He is hilarious by the way. Thank you to Fox Powersports for being so knowledgeable and giving exceptional service! I am a customer for life and wouldn’t think about going elsewhere.
Just wanted express a “big thank you” to Fox Powersports , Wyoming MI in assisting us in a quick chain fix / replacement for our 2017 Ducati Multistrada.More specifically I would like to highlight Mr. Michael “Mick” Mann. His honesty and work ethic made this experience a solid performance !Mick was able to get us back on the road and catch the Lake Express Ferry to Milwaukee. The Ducati Team should be proud of people like MickThank you,Peter & Tatyana
Fox Powersports has all the toys!!! Its a huge place with lots of different brands. The sales people are not pushy and let you look around at your leisure. If you are serious about buying something, ask for Ozzy. Hes the best and you wont be disappointed!!! My suggestion... buy a Ducati!!! Youll love it!
Had an amazing experience here the past couple of times Ive been in. I needed some parts for my bike (brake pads) and when I asked the gentleman behind the parts counter if they had them in stock (they did) he actually asked to come out and see my bike to make sure I even needed them. He ended up recommending I only buy and replace one set instead of three. This kind of honesty and helpfulness is so refreshing and its what made me come back here for service putting a new set of tires on. Prices are reasonable and selection of riding gear is decent. Beautiful facility.
I have to question a lot of these reviews. I see Dallas had a lot of his friends write positive reviews for him (quick Facebook search shows this) but my experience working with him was anything but pleasant. It took nearly 3 months to get a replacement panel as they sold me a new Can-Am with a scratched door. He was dishonest about the status of it multiple times and showed no initiative or concern once he had my $16K+. I had no problem waiting for a replacement part but the service from him was embarrassing after the sale. And of course... no apology from him for dropping the ball.I eventually worked with Stephanie F. who was nothing but helpful. I have nothing but good things to say about her.My recommendation is to take a closer look at these reviews. They have a nice selection of inventory but Im not sure my next purchase will be from Fox Powersports
This place is awesome. Huge selection of products. My husband and I just bought bikes there this year. Our salesman was Jason Bradford, who is very knowledgeable and loves talking bikes.I just did the Riding Academy 4/28 and 4/29, which is run by Jason also. The instructor, Wally, was awesome. The class was well worth the cost.We have bought all our riding gear here through Jerry in accessories. He is very helpful and friendly.Overall weve always been happy with everythere here. You cant go wrong choosing this place for your next toy or accessory purchase.
Can’t complain. There’s not much competition and I think it shows. Expect to spend some time here. Getting in and out takes a long time. Even for accessories. Just a SLOW process. Prices seem fair though. They just need to get on making the process more efficient. Repairs take way too long and you have to leave your toy there for them to look at “when they can”, rather than a set date. There’s room for improvement, for sure, but overall, it’s not a bad experience.
I was a bit skeptical about buying a bike sight unseen but being it was so far away and I had been looking for this particular bike and color for a while I took a chance. I dealt with Matt and he walked me through the entire process step by step which led to a smooth transaction. Matt took the time to send me additional photos of the bike and also the history of the previous owner. All the paperwork was emailed to me and done electronically which worked very well. Everyone I communicated with at Fox Power Sports was very helpful in seeing all my questions were answered. The bike was shipped to me and was in excellent condition when it arrived. Im glad I took the chance and look forward to many fun riding years. Thanks Matt and Fox Powersports.
Chris at Fox Powersports helped me order a new winch and audio system for my 2020 Maverick X3. He then got me into the shop the day my parts came in and by the end of the week I had my X3 back. On top of that my buying experience with Dallas was great! Super friendly and I appreciate the help from these guys.
I am not sure if my first review posted. I have dealt with this shop for service, parts, and sales (Brandon/Jordan/Scott). They treat me like I own the dealership and that my bike like it is the most important machine they have ever worked on. They instill a well deserved sense of trust and confidence. They make buying the bike, owning the bike, and getting the bike serviced a better experience than it would otherwise be. I have no problems riding or driving 6 hours each way to seek out this dealership and more specifically this crew. Scott is Wrench Supreme, Jordan knows how to take a question and get it answered and return the call, and Brandon knows how to sell the right bike to the right customer while making some money for the dealership while providing the customer with exactly what he wanted (nobody needs these things) on terms nothing other than right.
What a place!!! I had the best experience purchasing my first bike! My salesperson Jason Bradford was amazing! He felt my excitement and was truly happy for me. He was very knowledgeable with no pressure at all. The business manager Dave McNair was so nice and thorough. Thank you Dave!!! I didnt forget about John the man who went over my bike with me. He was great! He made sure I understood everything! He repeated multiple times the very important parts. I just love this place!!! So grateful I found you online because I live 1 1/2 hours away. Well worth the drive!!!
Horrible experience with service department my bike is now deemed totaled because of them. they would not quote for what I wanted to have fixed and fix the bike the way I wanted to be fixed. My frame was scratched from a ratchet strap braking and they said it need replaced when it could of been powered coated.
When I first started going there it was a great place, great customer service and an awesome riding academy I highly recommend the academy. I bought my first bike in 37 years their the sales rep too a long time with me and didnt try to push me into something that I was uncomfortable on. He told me if I was uncomfortable on the bike I wouldnt ride it which is true. The guys who helped me fit for my helmet did awesome, having to work around my glasses and the fact I wear them down my nose a bit. If the story ended their I would give 5 stars, but when it came for service, Ive had way to many bad experiences with the service department I wont go back to them for service, I wouldnt give them 1 star, so. So go ahead go to he class and even buy your bike there but take your service elsewhere.
Bought my first CAN-AM Ryker Rally this past weekend and it was one of the best purchases I’ve made! The unit itself was put together by a certified tech of Can-AM at Fox Powersports so I felt safe to ride knowing that the team at Fox sold a solid new unit. The Sales Manager John M. made the buying experience easy and he was very knowledgeable about the units/options that you can have on the Ryker. As a new rider, I wanted to make sure I was getting a fair price and treated with respect which made it easy to work with Finance Manager Patrick.I wanted to get some accessories for my unit and Jerry in accessories helped me fit a helmet and order everything I needed for my ride. I’ll definitely be coming back to get help for more parts.I had trouble tracking down a few things of paperwork but Sales Coordinator Corina picked up the phone and got everything in order so I could leave the same day I wanted the Ryker.I got the chance to meet the GM Tim and Assistant Sales Manager Stephanie to validate my experience and to make sure I was leaving happy. I had a great experience at Fox Powersports and will be back soon!
Do not take your bike here unless you arent planning on riding for 3 months! Just got our bike back and still spent 3 hours working on it at home, putting things back correctly and tuning it up! The stereo no longer works and theres some sort of burn that I cant clean off on the phone case/holder! Lesson learned! Ill drive out of town to get my bike taken care of!
Brought 2 Bikes in for service. Was not happy with the quality of work. Very disappointed. Had several conversations with a gentleman that was supposed to be the service manager Scott. Very unprofessional. Rude. Acted like I was waisting his time. Not one ounce of friendliness. I have always had a pleasant experience with other employees. Absolutely no personality but mainly rude. Will NEVER bring any business to Fox again. Will drive the distance to Kalamazoo. Shocked you employ these types of people. I also heard him yell and talk very disrespectful to a young man who was a employee.
Drove 3 Hours to get to the Wyoming Michigan store because there are no Triumph Dealers in Indiana anymore. The price I paid for my new bike was fantastic. Seriously customer focused staff. Clean store, sales staff are not a bunch of over aggressive tire biters. They are knowledgeable and helpful, but seem to know that the decision has to be yours and that is just what I need. Have not had the opportunity, yet, to experience the service department. More to follow.
I spoke with a man named Ben, and he was extremely unprofessional, uninformed, and rude. Called to set up an appointment to test drive a bike. Told him name, time, and a specific bike I wanted. He told me it was still available and it’ll be ready in half an hour. We get there and he acted like he had no idea we wanted it, just sold it, and didn’t want to spare a second more helping us look for another bike. Didn’t offer a business card or even his further services. Honestly, his job is to sell to the customer but apparently that was too much work. If you go there I recommend going with a different salesmen that knows what customer service actually is. Should probably not be in that line of work if trying to meet the customers needs is too much effort.
Fox Powersports was great to work with. Our Salesman Ozzy and Bill took the time to really talk with my 12 and 16 year old boys about the dirt bikes and addressed all of our question and concerns. Their knowledge of the equipment and what would best fit our family was perfect. We didnt get the up sale and we got exactly what we needed. We ended up with the Honda CRF230F and couldnt be happier with our purchase. Danielle was very professional throughout the purchase and the service team quickly prepped the bike so we could start riding within a couple of hours. Thank you for a great experience.
So just bought a 2020 Raptor, Shawn the salesman was great. Patrick in financing did not explain everything, did not return an email I had about total OTD price, was not there when signing the paperwork, and emailed me back with a dickish email when I questioned the total price. Me buying a new quad for the first time was not a pleasant experience, I would suggest if you do buy from fox do your own financing.
This dealership is one of a kind. The staff are nice and willing to help! The service center will let you know about recalls and let you schedule an appointment for it. I got first motorcycle here (Yamaha R3) and I took the beginner course and if it wasnt for them, I wouldnt be riding a bike today. Excellent place for motorcycles around (as well as other automobiles like ATV and skis as well)
USPS lost parts that I ordered for my Can Am Spyder, lucky for me I spent $3.00 for shipping insurance. I called and left a message with Fox Power Sports, Andy returned my call and told me that the parts would be re-sent to me with no additional fee. Thank you for your quick, professional and stress free assistance. I am recovering from Covid-19 and am able to rest easy knowing my parts will be here soon.
We had an amazing experience with our recent motorcycle purchase. Ozzy was our salesperson and he was attentive but not pushy and extremely knowledgeable. Dave helped with our financing and he was great to work with. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for a great selection and an amazing sales team.
1 Un-friendly attitude2 Unwilling to assist in defect in product if they don’t sell you the product in the beginning3 Can’t keep the word from a phone call to in-person4 Due to unwillingness to assist in a problem and not able to come up with a solution be cud’s take it back to we’re u purchased the snowmobiles I personally will not recommend purchasing anything from this company due to the conditions listed above. Their are more friendly better service Yamaha dealers around. I would drive 5 hours to just get better service and happy service then drive 45 min to get the service I recived today.
Great selection, good atmosphere and friendly Service. I did not look how pushy some of the staff was when first looking to buy. After a few words and several trips, we found common ground and I found the Motorcycle I wanted......They are wroth looking at just be ready to make a deal, most of the stock is over priced. ;)
Fox provided service on my 2020 Yamaha Wolverine. The experience was seamless. We were waiting on additional accessories that were delayed due to a backlog due to COVID. Chris kept us informed every step of the way. We are very happy with our experience at Fox Powersports.
I have been extremely pleased with Fox power sports. Brandon was fantastic to work with. He was very patient and helpful as I looked at multiple different bikes. I never felt pressured through the entire process. I have been equally pleased in working with Peg from the office and Audrey and the rest of the parts department. They have all been very helpful and very much exceeded my expectations. The service department was able to get me in very promptly to do my first service. They were very prompt in getting parts in and calling me to schedule service. They gave me an estimated cost as well as length of time to complete service, and much to my surprise the final time it took for service was perfect and my final bill was actually lower. I physically shopped 4 different dealers, while looking to purchase my bike and ended up with Fox even though they are 2 1/2 hours from home. I am 100% happy with my decision to buy from Fox and my Tiger 800XC is an absolutely fantastic machine. Thank you Brandon, Audrey, Peg, Eric and the rest for making my purchase and subsequent service and asscesorizing a fantastic experience. I look forward to doing business with you for many years to come.
Stopped to check on side by sides and quads. Sales person asked if I was looking for anything in particular and I told him my wife and I are checking out the side by sides. I explained to.him that I had a 2016 Harley Triglide I was thinking of trading in. I asked if there was someone that was in charge of this type of transaction and he went to get his manager. Long story short we settled on a deal for a Kawasaki side by side. I wanted to say that Ben Buurma is a great sales consultant who is not pushy and will answer all your questions with respect. He didn’t get upset when asked to check on our request with his manager. My wife and I think he did his best he could to make our purchase a smooth transaction. Thanks Ben for putting up with both of us and we will enjoy our side by side in our retirement years. Ben is definitely an asset to the Fox Power Sports sales team.
I just bought my first motorcycle today. I had an amazing experience! The sales staff is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I had the pleasure of working Stephanie. She could not have made the process any better! Not only did I get a great sales experience, but I got to meet people from every department with their ticket to ride. I spoke with Jake from parts who was extremely informative knew exactly what I needed without over selling. I then talked to Tom from the service department who showed me all the controls on the bike and told me about the basic maintenance needed. I honestly felt like I was being accepted into large family with open arms. I recommend ANYONE who is buying a bike to go to Fox Powersports.
My boyfriend asked me to call about getting a few parts for his dirt bike after his relentless calling, emailing and leaving voicemails. I have called at least 8 times TODAY and have been on hold for the parts department. I have been on hold for 5-20 minutes at a time and just hang up after getting so mad. Do you think the person that transferred my call cared to check in with a call holding? No. Do you think anyone picked up and said “it’s busy but give me 5 more minutes and i can help you”? No. absolute worst customer service ever. Nobody has replied or called back. Guess they don’t want the business that bad.
We bought a Ducati!! Brandon was awesome and showed us the entire show room while we waited for all of our paperwork to buy a bike, very friendly, super knowledgeable and super easy to talk to... He made the time fly! Dave was our financing handy man, explained everything and was funny to boot! Everyone we encountered during this experience was friendly and helpful! Will definitely recommend! Not pushy at all!!
I had a winch professionally installed on my quad. It was messed up, likely from the factory, and it broke the first time I used it. They said it wasnt their problem because it was a faulty part and I had to fix it myself. The sales team had their act together but the service department is a joke. Really terrible customer service.
I Like the fact that Fox is locally owned. Other than that I don’t find the staff Overly Friendly unless you’re buying something brand new.I also every time I call To parts go to voicemail and wait hours to get a return call. It is easier to just buy online but I won’t
The salesman was rude to my daughter and myself. Was planning on trading in my 2017 yxz on something new and he told us we cant sit in them because we will scratch them lol what a joke why would you set your place up to not allow people to test the feeling out of seats and steering taking my business elsewhere
Prepare to get shocked by their service prices. $375.00+ to replace tires (tires supplied), change oil (oil supplied), and change out brake shoes (also supplied). When it came to signing I saw a $54.00 shop supplies fee on the invoice that hadnt been explained. Bad deal. Coupled with their devious pricing (huge stock/process fees) on their products if makes for a lousy place to do business. Sure way to lose customers.Follow up... I went to village motorsports for the same services,... 40% less! To the credit of Fox, they did reach out to resolve the issue but at this point i feel the hidden shop service fee was insulting and devious. The service associate said it wasnt the first time someone complained about this matter.
Highly disappointed in the service department, quality of work and willingness to stand behind their work. We brought 2 bikes in at different times for new rims after getting the bikes back and riding them a couple times we had major issues. After Fox looked at the bike they said it was not their issue. We have 2 other bikes and have never had issues with the spokes. The only time we have had issues was after Fox replaced rims for us. We spent over $600 in repairs for the one bike alone with Fox. The sad part is seeing the disappointment in my sons face when it is going to be an amazing weekend and his bike is not rideable!
I bought a used bike from the store. Very pleased with the amount of attention I received from the sales department. Sales member were helpful in finding me a motorcycle. They did everything to make me feel welcomed and comfortable with my purchase. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new toy. Thanks to Michael, and all the other employees that made my dream a reality, Very pleased with the customer service that all of you have shown.
Purchased 3 snowmobiles. Pretty awesome place! Showroom is fantastic and they have great inventory on hand. I worked with Brian in sales and Eric in Finance, and both were top notch. I described my family and how we intend to use the sleds to Brian, and he guided me toward product that was the most appropriate...not the most expensive. I appreciate when a sales person and/or company recognize that their customers best interest and their own best interest, long term, is one in the same. I am not an expert. I have to be able to trust whomever I work with. Eric was extremely helpful, and went beyond the role of finance to help guide me and my son through some of the other purchases that go along with sleds...helmets, etc. He did not have to do that, but he did. Overall, even though I have a 90 minute drive to get to Fox, I will go back and I would most certainly recommend!!!! Nice work guys!
Not happy with the place. Took my motorcycle into get it repaired because it didnt start it took them almost a month to give you my bike back and every time I call they gave me the run-around. Spoke tomorrow then 4 people and everybody had a different story at the end I spoke to a manager and he told me theyre working on the motorcycle today and I will have my bike today , that did not happen that was on a Thursday nobody called me back to let me know that the bike was not going to be done . I was told that I needed a battery a starter relay and I starter the cost of it so it was paid before even picking up the bike and when I went to pick up the bike when they decided to tell me that the bike was done then they told me that the only problem that it had was a relay and a battery and on top of that they wanted to charge me an extra hundred and 80 plus. They ended up giving me the bike for whatever I paid before that, course 400 dollars. No starter but a starter relay and a new battery that took them almost a month I will never recommend this place to people that I know and I will never take my bike back to get any type of repairs in their shop. Very bad customer service.
Fox sets the standard for quality customer service! Every person in that building was an absolute pleasure to work and interact with. From sales, to financing.. Hell, even the janitor and the chick working the Starbucks stand were awesome! There is no reason anyone in the market for a bike, quad, whatever else they sell, wouldnt contemplate Fox as their first choice! Suffice to say, Im an extremely satisfied customer!!!
Heres a place where - ironically - the sales experience is really great while the services that normally shine (parts, service, accessories) are lackluster at best. Excellent prices on trade ins, and a broad selection of vehicles makes it a fun store. Definitely recommended!
I walked in a month ago knowing exactly the motorcycle that I wanted, I requested Brandon Slomp as I saw his name on every Triumph that was sold that day. Brandons customer service was top of the line and got me exactly what I needed. I did have some minor issues with the Triumph I bought at first, but Brandons fast communication and helpfulness kept me at ease and I knew he was going to fix my problems. Overall, a great buying experience at Fox Powersports, and Brandons customer service is a rare thing to find nowadays. Thanks!

2021-11-04I buy pretty much all my equipment here, the staff are relaxed and are willing to be honest with you about their products. Plus I took the basic riders course, 10/10, amazing. I thought the instructor and the class was great, she was very kind and helped us all get comfortable on the bikes, and really wanted us to succeed at motorcycling. In addition to that, we had fun exercises and a few good laughs. My only suggestion is that they have more resources for helping new riders decide what kind of bike to get or getting started at motorcycling, not just the training course. When I first went into the store I really struggled to get advice on how to get into it and what kind of bike fit my needs, I think they just kind of expect you to know what you want or to meet experienced riders, I came prepared with questions, but I didn’t really get any clear answers. Other than that, this place is AWESOME! I have a hard time leaving :)Edit: I kind of sugar coated it, but after reading allot of similar reviews,… tbh, I kind of got ignored by a couple staff members. I just really like this place so I don’t want to say anything bad, but I would appreciate if when I went in to shop they took more of an interest in the customers entering. Sorry 😕.

2022-03-12Very large store. The most helmets on the shelf in the area. They dont carry some popular brands, like Icon. They have many many HJC and a few Shoei & Arai. They carry youth helmets - both off road and cruising. Friendly staff willing to pull helmets from the back and make sure they fit you. Their riding glove selection is pretty weak, but still better than many other stores in the area. If you dont find what youre looking for, ask. The staff is willing to help you find it.

2022-07-18If you are in the market for a new bike Brandon is the salesman you want to go see. He was beyond helpful and responsive to all of my questions. I ordered a motorcycle and he let me know all of the updates he could. I didn’t end up buying the bike here so I can’t speak for experience when it comes to that process but I know that Brandon is on top of it and makes sure you are happy. Can’t thank him enough for the help he gave me while I was looking around.I will be coming here for service on my new bike so hopefully that’s just as good

2022-03-15I am the proud owner of a fully restored 2008 FJR1300 that Fox Powersports did 99% of the work on to restore it. This is my story...I came into Fox at the recommendation of Craig VanDyke a loyal employee of Fox Powersports due to his praise of quality, communication and fairness of the company. I have had many different bikes to many different dealerships and repair shops all over west Michigan and thus far the best experience hands down has been Fox. Craig and the service writers there kept me informed on the status throughout the project, but what really impressed me while my motorcycle was at the dealership was the amount of knowledge from the staff and the honesty. If something did not need replacing they were honest about it and did not just try to make an extra buck. This is rare in the world of mechanics! As far as craftsmanship I can tell you that as soon as I got the bike in my possession I started checking the torque specs on everything, I was beyond impressed that everything was PERFECT. In addition the bike was returned to me in a like new off the show room floor condition. (Which I have never had before).A huge shout out to Craig and Calvin for working on this bike, staying in contact with me throughout the entire ordeal. Their top notch service is what will keep me and those who ride around me coming to Fox. (Give them a raise!)Sincerely,Kenneth H.

2022-07-09Dan and Caitlin were great! They took good care of me and kept me up to speed with everything covered on my bike. Even in a time frame where coworkers were sick and were experiencing a shortage of employees, Dan did a good job expressing their concern and awareness of my needs. I couldnt be happier with the work they did.

2022-06-23When you purchase a brand new machine through a company you would expect good service if having issues with it and good customer service…I haven’t received either!! This is the third time they have my ATV for over a week when I was told 2/3 days by a service technician.Don’t bother trying to call to get an update I have called 4 times the last 3 and left voicemails with no call back..

2022-03-14Had an awesome experience! Sean Beyer helped my family purchase 3 dirt bikes and a trailer. He took the time to make sure we purchased the correct bikes for the riding we plan to do, as we knew nothing about dirt bikes. His patience along with his level of knowledge made us very comfortable with this new adventure. Appreciate your help, Sean!
