Never know what youre going to find
About 3 weeks after dropping 10 or so items to Fratz for consignment, I came into the store, and found one of my hand painted antique pieces of furniture up on a ceiling high shelf, perhaps 8 feet off the floor, out of the view of any shopper. I asked that the item be brought down to the floor, so it stood a better chance of being seen. I dont know how they think it is fair that a large portion of my consignment time was spent with my items out of view of a shopper! Fast forward another 6 weeks , and as the COVID-19 statewide shut down had just occurred, I was concerned that my items would be marked down during the shutdown, and since the store is closed, it seemed only fair to consignors that items would not take their regularly scheduled mark downs during this time. I called twice to make sure items would not be reduced during the shut down, and 2 different people told me they would not be. When logging in to my consignors account earlier today I saw that one of my items had sold , for the lowest 50% off, which meant it HAD been reduced in price during the shut down. When calling and speaking to the manager (which took me 2 phone calls to get her to finally call me back) she explained that items are being sold online and she had every right to reduce the price as regularly scheduled, even though 1) two employees had told me this would not be the case and 2), a couple of weeks had gone by when the store was completely closed. Between the item being up on the shelf 8 feet off the floor, and then the store being closed, I missed out on a huge chunk of my consignment time. The manager went on telling me how she had been working 6 days a week and how she took offense that I was complaining. She then said I may want to consider other avenues of selling things since they try hard to sell my items for me.... as if she thought she was doing me a favor! I reminded her that the store DOES get a 50% cut for the sale of my items, and again, she said she works many hours for free, and doesnt appreciate me voicing my dislike of feeling taken advantage of. Im sure she doesnt care, but I will never shop or consign with them again.
Nice little shop but over packed in many areas. I was looking for picture frames but they were in such a jumble that sorting through them would have taken unpacking them all from the bin. Also, stored in such a way, I wouldnt be surprised to find that any damage was incurred at the shop...I gave up after minimal sorting and much frustration. Other areas are more organized and the staff in general is friendly and helpful.

Fun place to browse! This business is here for the long haul. From the start they have operated with a clear business plan, consistent hours and good service. Ive never been a consignor, but from a customers perspective Ive found them to be helpful -- and items priced fairly with predictable, clear discounts. If you like the treasure hunt aspect of shopping, you will be pleased.
You must visit if you buy or sell resale. AMAZING WORK STAFF. Willing to help easily In anyway to fit your needs. I instantly felt welcomed and comfortable. Beautiful high quality products for a reasonable price. Best part was meeting BOOMER their gorgeous Sweet Golden Retriever. Had fun shopping.
A very unique and interesting shop thats well organized and competitively priced. Im as huge fan of the rotational savings system where the longer an item is in their inventory, the lower the price. I could spend days here if adult life allowed it. Friendly, helpful staff, and excellent service!
They have some really neat things here. Its vintage items, but has the feel of a flea market, so I wasnt expecting the high prices. Its a great place for antiquing or browsing. Everyone inside was super nice and helpful.

There is a wide variety of items to see from fancy dinner plates to beautiful one of a kind furniture. The people there are super friendly, if you need help they know where to find what you are looking for, if u just want to brouse no one will bother you. The prices are also well marked and reasonable.
Went there today , not one employee wearing a mask , I was the only customer with a mask. They do have hand sanitizer available but Im disappointed that tbey choose to ignore the Governers order to wear masks indoors. I do like the store and their selection, but it,’s not worth the risk.

Have been consigning stuff here with my mom for close to 5 years now. The staff is very welcoming and treats us like close friends now. Amazing selection of antique books-cant walk in without finding a book that I cant live without! Not your average consignment shop. The quaintness and uniqueness definitely create an atmosphere that makes this unlike any shop you have ever been in.
Not very well organized and seems very crowded. Hard to walk through some of the aisles due to how its set up. Im sure you can find some real treasures here if you have the time to dig through it all. I also havent been real impressed with the prices.
One of those cool, out of the way consignment stores to waste an hour at on a Sunday afternoon. Friendly atmosphere. Like an organized garage sale. Prices automatically drop every month if pieces dont sell, so if you want a real bargain it encourages you to come back. There are 3 more places like this nearby so you can spend an afternoon and perhaps bring home a treasure.
What an amazing shopping experience! I came with friends from out of town & spent 3 hours there. I have never walked out of there without buying something! The staff is so helpful & very friendly. A+ rating for sure!

This is a pretty cool place and I guess if youre lucky you can find good deals. I just never have. You just have to look things over real well before you buy them and and check the dates for the correct price. They can get a little confusing.

While it might be nice to try to sell your stuff they don’t keep it retail for very long....30 days then it drops 20%. Then if not sold in 90 days they donate it! Well if I wanted my stuff donated I would have saved the hassle of trying to sell it.....oh but that’s what I wanted to do.....sell it. They are very friendly but they won’t show you a wish list so you might help them with what they can sell.....makes no sense.....this is not for me
Nice place. Has a wide variety of items at pretty fair prices. Staff has always seemed friendly to me. Some things are a little outdated but overall great collection of items.

I love a good bargain! You really have to look to find them though. They are starting to have half of sales, which is great! But you have to know what youre looking for before you go in there or you can get consumed in everything!

They will rob you! They say that your item will be on the sales floor but they will hide in the back room because I had a fur coat there and i did not see it on the sales floor at all and then it expired and they claimed it sold the next day after the expiration date I will NEVER take anything back there! They claimed they called me and left a voicemail but i never got anything from the lying conniving thieves at Fratz Consignment!!
FRATZ is a wonderful and unique place that everyone needs to experience! Not like any other consignment place, the staff are very nice and the owner is great. Its always like a treasure hunt....Love this place!

2021-07-27Rude staff in back where you drop off items. ( a woman Very snippy) Front guy Griffin? Was very helpful and friendly but seemed not to want to upset the woman in back. PS She was rude and I told them I was not able to reschedule. Griffen said it was up to the woman in back as to take me or not. I was upset but just didnt show it. I waited until she asked me what I wanted THEN asked my question. I was with another person she can back up what I have told you. Its nice of you to back your employees however I gave you the correct information about what occurred.
