Comment: I had the most unpleasant call with the shop manager Fernando Alvarado. And I feel so offended and humiliated by him. I called in for service today as my Tesla car had a collision and need it repaired.I expressed my need which is my car is barely drivable due to steeling wheel issue from the collision and I was trying to find a way to eliminate the # of times to drive the car to the shop. We have shared the picture of the car including the alert from the Tesla showing the steering wheel issue which caused the damage. However, he stated he can’t see why we can’t drive the car from the picture and the estimates provided by insurance company. And ask us to fix the steeling wheel so we can drive to the shop so he can fix the rest.I don’t understand his logic and when I trying to ask understand the process better. He keeps accuse me lying about the steeling wheel and blame about me having an attitude and says they won’t accept me as customer anymore.I have never been humiliated by any service provider like this. When I asked to his manager. He said he is the manager and the owner of the shop. If that’s the case, I would recommend anyone who don’t want to get humiliation from service provide to avoid this place at all cost.

Comment: I recently brought my Toyota GR86 to the Fremont Collision Center after recommendation from GEICO insurance. My car got hit on the left rear side while parked by another driver who was trying to park on the left side of my car. In regard to the repair process, it was a pretty smooth process. I was given a realistic completion date and regular updates were provided via text. In the end, my car looked just the way it was before the parking lot incident. I have used Fremont Collision in the past with a positive experience and will prefer to use them in the future if required.

The car looks as good as new and all the complex electrical and sensors are working as intended. They did take a lot of time to fix the car but it was worth it.

Manager was super awesome in acknowledging that and said he will take care of it in 2 months since there is a paint settling time. I would definitely recommend any time. Comment: No one ever likes to have to go through vehicle repairs, especially when its not your own fault for it happening. Was very fortunate that my insurance was accepted by this establishment. This was actually my first time ever filing a claim through my insurance and the whole process was done seamlessly. The staff at Fremont Collision Center were very friendly and attentive to my needs. My car was there for a total of 7 days and each day they gave me updates on the status of the vehicle. What was being ordered, what was done that day, and what they were waiting to get done. This ordeal couldve been a lot worse but because of the professionalism and quick turn around of my repairs what was a bad situation didnt turn out to be much of a problem at all.

It was my first time dealing with auto insurance related repairs and it could not have been made simpler by FCC. The staff was always helpful, cooperative, and prompt with communication.They provide constant updates on the status of your car via texts and seemed genuine about costs and services.I will make it my to-go car detailing shop and would definitely recommend.

Comment: Went through them via insurance for body repair. They did a decent job, but the craziest thing is, for a car repair shop, they sure have a lot of people that cant drive stick. I had a dash cam and whoever was trying to move my car literally stalled 9 times on my cam, it was pretty painful to watch the employee trying to learn stick in my car. I can understand millennials or non-car people not being able to drive stick, but car mechanics? Maybe next time, get someone that knows how to drive stick to move the car around. I do not recommend anyone with lightweight flywheels bringing their cars in here. Do yourself a favor and prevent a lose-lose situation of having to deal with the shops liability for a broken clutch and not having a ride.

Comment: Please avoid with a large problem/big accidents - It took them more than a month to fix the car after a large auto collusion although they said it will take two weeks. Once I received it the A/C did not work, and I needed to bring the car a week later. Two months later the new car stopped working because they forgot to fix one of the part and put me and my family at risk.

The best part was they updated me the status of the car every 2 days and informed me as soon as I was done. When brought back in, plastic not aligned straight.On rear side quarter panel, where it should be a flat face, bubbled gloss. On a part that wasnt even damaged protective clear plastic film was removed and not reapplied.I brought my vehicle here due to the geico insurance.Customer service was provided.Please understand that i had to drive 30 minutes to get here and back from my home some what a hassle just to have them fix little things that were over looked and missed. I expected my car to be returned in a condition that it was before accident or better, recieved car as it is noticeable it has been in an accident and an attempt to repair was tried.

Fernando was in communication with me via text the whole time and finished 2 days before estimate. I had one major issue, they finished and gave me the car but a week later I noticed they left a few parts loose and hanging. I am upset that I had to figure this our and take the car back, I waited an hour and they did fix it which I appreciate. I also have 2 minor issues, they did cause minor scratches at the areas of repair and Geico&repair shop dont seem to communicate well with one another.

Comment: I had brought my Hyundai Elantra car to this collision center since this is the closest place to my residence and this place is really amazing to get your car served. They have replaced my car hood with a new one, cleaned the car with absolute perfection (interior in detail). The car now looks like brand new. While picking up the car, I have requested Fernando to help me clean an old scratch marks on the car and he was very supportive. He fixed the scratch in minutes with his technician and the people are very friendly. I would highly recommend such people or collision centers. Fernando you are amazing and it was wonderful to see such place here in Fremont.

Comment: This is solely regarding poor and unprofessional communication by Fernando at Fremont Collision Center. No services were performed.TLDR; Two months of being given the runaround, never following-up like he stated he would, always sounded annoyed when I finally get through to him, and just lack of professionalism. At the end of it all, Fernando had passed me off to another body shop and lied to me regarding who they were and the service. The other body shop was also unaware of what was exactly happening thanks to Fernando never responding to them after they gave him the information he requested.Whole story: I was referred to Fremont Collision Center by Geico because I had moved far away from the original body shop who performed the back bumper work. There was a crack in the bumper (didnt get hit by car, just noticed one day) and I needed it accessed to see if it would be covered by the Geico warranty. I came into Fremont Collision Center one evening. Fernando helped me, took my information, took photos and stated he would speak to the Geico adjuster tomorrow and call me back within 1-2 days with an update. Two weeks go by, nothing. I called back and he told me that he still needs to speak with the Geico adjuster but explained some processes that also needs to be done, etc. Also stated hell call me back by end of the day. His tone made me think that he completely forgot to ask to begin with. Annoyed but I assumed theyve been busy. No follow-up at the end of the day. Another week go by, still no follow-up. I called three times that week and every single time, he wasnt there and the employee I spoke with took down my number, claimed theyll have Fernando follow-up but he never did. Another week later, I finally get through to him and he informed me that theyre waiting for another body shop that could fix the bumper and I asked why that process but he just stated it was how things are done. Okay... Two more weeks go by, Im pretty fed up by this point but still trying to be patience, I get through after a couple more days of calling and false promises of follow-up. Fernando tells me that, Fremont Cooks Collision was suppose to follow-up with you and take care of the bumper. I asked him why he never told me about this and when was this all decided as he hasnt updated me from two weeks ago. He told me to call them and ask, gave me the number of their regional manager and hangs up. Im pretty furious at the end of this call. Fremont Cooks Collision is not part of the Geicos service system. I called the number that was provided by Fernando and the regional manager told me that he does not work at the Fremont Cooks Collision, but for the Concord one, which is the original body shop I got the work done at. WTF. I didnt go back to them originally because I live an hour away now. The regional manager was nice, informed me that Fernando did contact them, they gave him the information he requested, but he never followed up with them after that.

I had a tent in front bumper of my car, they have removed other scratches as well, as part of the repair. I highly recommend them for body work.

Dropped off vehicle and she said it was going to be 3 days. It ended up being 3 weeks. All I heard was excuses every week I called. They had already took apart the car. They had to order parts. The second week I called. I told her it was taking too long to just put the car back together. She said the part will be in tomorrow and she will call me the next day to let me know how much longer. No calls. I had to call and now I’m on hold.......Now they are saying another week....She is the only receptionist there. Poor timing, unorganized. Promising and not delivering. That not ok!

The right corner of the bumper was bent, but no body parts were dented.The other partys insurance recommended Fremont Collision Center. When I arrived for my drop off appointment, they had my rental truck waiting and insurance adjuster present, both at the same location.Throughout the repair process, Fremont Collision Center kept me informed of status. The repair was completed in time promised. Quality of repair is excellent. Color matched perfectly and all parts aligned properly. Blind Spot Sensor and Rear Cross Traffic Detection working as did previously. Excellent customer service also. No waiting for drop-off or pick-up. Nice job Fremont Collision Center!

Comment: My daughter doing a parallel parking, she touch the front car and get the driver side fender pushed in . I asked around, Almost Everything Auto Body&Paint want $1,800 to fix it, just pull it asked for $480. Pan American want to do full repair and paint. I came to Fremont Collision, I told him I just want that front fender to pull out a little so it will fit on the bumper. He drove the car to the shop and came back in 5 min. Done. They didnt even charge me for anything. They know what they are doing. I highly recommend them for any body work. Nice people, generous.

Comment: My daughter was hit in the right rear by someone who had Geico, and they sent her to Fremont Collision Center for this $8454.91 guaranteed repair 11 months ago. I had my doubts about the work when they ordered the 1 wrong replacement tire (Ultra High Performance All-Season vs Max Performance Summer, which they charged me $265.48 and I ended up replacing a month later), had uneven gaps (left vs right to body) on the bumper cover, and ruined (severe swirl marks, which I had to pay a detail shop to fix) supposedly newly painted parts. Two weeks ago, someone rear-ended my daughter, which resulted in minor damage ($1228.49 repair estimate). AAA sent her Cooks Collision, Inc for the repairs. She just got a message from Cooks, with pictures, of parts that were repaired incorrectly from the previous accident. Now, it is going to cost me another $386.69 to fix the work Fremont Collision Center was already paid to fix. I would NOT recommend Fremont Collision Center for any work, even if guaranteed.

Comment: I had a repairment through Geico, as a part of the job they were supposed to repair my fender which was slightly deformed, and they actually put this job to the invoice, however they just painted over the scratches and my fender is as bent as it was before. When I pointed that out, they tried to move the light to hide the obvious problem (this is why I give it an extra star), but you can say looking at my car from the front that its not even. And the same story with a rear bumper. Now I have to take it to another shop to actually repair my car and pay out of pocket. Needless to say neither the mechanic shop nor Geico are any concerned about any of my complains.

Comment: Fremont Collision Center is the place I will always bring my vehicles to be repaired. I was in a wreck that but a good size dent in the side of my Ford F150. They are so professional. They went through the entire process with me. They checked for everything. They gave me an estimate and an expected due date. They sent progress reports everyday. They stayed within budget and got my truck done early. It looks brand new!!!! It actually looks better because they detailed my truck when they were done. They have a wonderful friendly staff and a great service. Definitely use them.

Comment: Dropped off my vehicle last week through geico insurance, they gave me rental car from enterprise after six days i received called from enterprise saying my insurance is not covering rental i have to pay from my pocket, my car was fixed in 2 days collision center or geico adjuster suppose to call and email me after my car was done they did not, i called Jabe sten adjuster and explained all details he said i should check the status of my vehicle after drop off, fremont collision center and geico adjuster both have very bad service, its better get money include rental coverage from insurance and fix vehicle from well known body shop

Comment: I had a great experience here. My vehicle was vandalized by someone kicking and or punching all down the drivers side. So basically all the panels on that side needed replacing. Not only did they have a rental agent available to set me up the day of my appointment but they kept me abreast of all updates during the work on my car. They also fully detailed the vehicle prior to me picking it up. I wouldnt go anywhere else for body work. Its like having a brand new car!!! Thank you Fremont Collision!!!

Im still trying to get my car fixed after horrible work theyve done. Im also having the hardest time trying to get them to pay for the damage they caused even when there is visible evidence of what they did. Learn from my lesson, do not take your car here, even if Geico guaranteed shop.

Comment: I chose fremont collision center through geico auto body express service.Took appointment online through geico and chose this center as its close to my homeLiked following things1.After dropping off the car i got regular updates through sms regarding my cars progress and the estimate for repairing the damages.I chose sms as contact but could have chosen phonecall,email etc2.I was happy with the estimate and felt that they have not overcharged as one of the previous quotes i had got from german auto body shop in san jose had quoted almost 2.5 times the estimate i got from fremont center3.I also chose fremont center as it showed up as one stop shop for dropping off car and taking a rental.Although i was not able to rent a car in the same location i was dropped off to enterprise location from where i could rent a car4.The car was repaired fairly swiftly and was able to get the car back within 4 days and i was happy with the repairs.The car was also returned clean and washed .I was also able to drop off the car in the collision center and it was not required to go back to enterprise to close the accountOverall my experience with fremont collision center was very good

Comment: My wife Doreen had an accident with her truck. Her insurance company told her to take the vehicle to Fremont Collision Center because they are the company her insurance deals with. She told me the experience she had there was awesome. The staff was very nice and easy going. The in house rental agency got her into the rental and was able to get back to work in minutes. They kept her informed of the progress via emails and phone calls. When her truck was done, she went there to pick it up and was amazed at the quality of their work.
