I spoke with one of the members last year while sledding with my kids, and we reminisced about the former house on Haven Hill and the overall park. Its nice to know there is a group of individuals wanting to preserve as much of the park and its structures as possible, all on a volunteer basis. Next time youre in the park, please considering bringing a shopping bag and picking up any trash you find along your adventure. It will help these fine folks out and keep the park looking beautiful.

We recently held my sons graduation party at the shelter on Teeple Beach. It was clean, bathrooms were spotless and well stocked with paper items. The cost for the day rental was very reasonable, guests enjoyed playing in the sand, taking long walks and some younger guests enjoyed fishing. Would definitely book again. We love this park.

Great park with lots to explore. I like that they keep it cleaner then most other state parks I have visited. I recommend hiking all the way to the old house. Lots of good spots to have a picnic.

Been on these trails previously, this is a great park. We brought out the kayaks and paddled around the lake, grandkids had a good, fun time. Caught a few fish, too 😉

Rural and tucked away from plan sight this is a great alternative to a long drive up north. There is some great historical facts to be learned here, as well as plenty of access to fish, hike, bike, picnic, and everything else that a park would draw you in for. Pet friendly but dogs must be on 6 leash when hiking. Though I didnt spend much time near lake it seems quite large and I am looking forward to a future fishing trip. My visit was over the winter months so I wasnt able to see much of the wildlife, however it is extremely obvious this is a prime location once warmer for plenty of furry and feathery encounters. Elevation various so for my fellow eastsiders this will be a nice little treat from our flat parks we know and love so well. Enjoy!!

Excellent day hiking trails. Nice beach. Boat launch. Lots of picnic areas and tables. Horse trails. Lots of animals, deer, snakes, birds, chipmunks, and squirrels. Good fishing for small perch and other sunfish.

Wonderful hidden gem! Haven Hill is a wonderful location for wildlife viewing. I wish they had better signage but the lack of it does add some rustic charm. I had been here several times before learning it was once Edsel Fords property.

I absolutely love this lake. It has always been so clean. And on one of the trails there is a beautiful view of water and tree lines from a little bridge you can walk across.
