Comment: Came in for an oil change and was there for over 2.5 hours. The tech informed me they needed to get a different oil drain plug, so I was happy to wait. But once the part arrived, there was no urgency from the staff to work on my car. They assured me the team was working on it, but I looked out the window and saw them all chatting together in the parking lot/checking out new vehicles that just arrived while my car sat unattended. The receptionist told them to get to work on my car, but once it was ready, it was the same deal. I went outside and the tech ran from my car, saying hed be right back. After a few minutes, I saw him in an adjacent bay chatting and laughing with his coworker. I understand theres downtime in any job, but felt very disrespectful of my time for them to actively avoid working on my vehicle while they know Im there waiting. Wouldnt waste the time here again.

The manager Andre went out of his way to even come down to my Grandpas house to look at our Odyssey to help figure out what needed to be done and with honest genuine answers Along with throwing in a free oil change/inspection for our Dodge Dakota which was very helpful as I needed it done short notice and they had it done the same day. My dealership screwed me over on my warranties so I knew it was going to be extremely costly and i was terrified about the prices and quotes I was already given by a few auto places I had previously visited. I did my research on a few different websites including yelp and repairpal, and saw Future Auto Service and chose them because not only was it was close by to me, they had the best deals and services offered when comparing it to others. I was treated with the same kindness and attention as others with new, nicer cars and I love the online portal which lists everything (with photos) and explains the full breakdown of needs and costs. I also love that they call and talk you through everything online to explain in further detail. They were available via phone, text, email, online portal and very flexible helping my husband pick up my car while I was in the hospital. It can be overwhelming talking cars when I know very little but everything was 100% honest, transparent, and no pressure. I will be returning and telling all of my friends!

Comment: I think its safe to assume that nobody ever wants to take their car into the shop. and my situation was no different. Late Saturday morning, my car decides to stay stuck in neutral while getting a car wash and I was stuck frantically trying to find a place that is in the Glendale/Burbank area that is still open that can take my car in and I found Future Auto Service. Luckily for me, AAA was able to come to me and give a quick fix and manually shift my gear to escort me and my very clean and busted car to the shop.Once I got to the shop, the staff was kind and courteous and very transparent with timelines as they had cars in the queue on a Saturday. I stepped away for lunch and after a few hours, I got the diagnosis which wasnt ideal, but I felt like my car was in good hands as everyone treated me with respect and care.As promised, they had the fix done by Monday and I was able to drive away. One thing to note is the waiting room of the shop is SUPER clean and comfortable and they offer water which is nice. Ive had experiences in different shops where I felt like I was being taken advantage of and/or felt like I was just a number but Future Auto Service had excellent service and great bedside manner.Thank you, team! Comment: I am tempted to copy/paste 30+ reviews and say, “Me, too! or Precisely!”.My dear colleague helped me take my car to FAS after I told him how veteran mechanic/owner of MIDAS in Simi Valley was going to charge me 3K to replace the catalytic converter on our 2007 Honda Odyssey. I wasn’t sure if this was the beginning of the end for this beloved van that only has 140K mi and if we should think about disposing the car sooner than later.Frankly, I didn’t have too many expectations when we first arrived at FAS. I figured that the best that would happen is that I would be charged a bit less since I was with a guy as I always feel that handymen and auto repair price tags are never gender neutral.Turned out, upon inspection, that the sensor to the rear catalytic converter was malfunctioning due to debris stuck on it. I still can’t believe that the other fellow was going to charge me 3K to replace the CC.The thoroughness of their inspectionat FAS, the transparent documentation and pricing that they provide, coupled with duration of repairs, is all geared towards a model of building loyal lifelong client relationships. I would come here to FAS even if I lived in San Bernardino (fortunately, I don’t)!What I can’t grasp is how can this gem exist and how I am so fortunate to have had the presence of mind to listen to my colleague and take both my cars to FAS? I can’t thank my colleague and Tiko & his team at FAS for all the support this past week when I was so stressed out about our car(s).Now, if only I could find a reliable Handyman who won’t be tempted to rip me off, my faith in humanity shall be renewed!

Had our car towed there and they were SOOO helpful!! Since it would be a few hrs, they arranged an Uber ride home.They called me at the arranged time. The man apologized and said they were unable to fix it, there was an issue with a computer component. When I went to pick up the car, the man apologized again and told me that there would be no charge! Mind you they took the center counsel apart and cleaned all the debris and spilled drink residue. Went even further and said he would look into alternatives to get this fixed, without dealing with a dealership, that charges 1,200$ for the part alone. He got my car in right away after I blew a tire on the freeway, diagnosed the issue quickly on what happened, and showed me the cracks in the 3 remaining tires that would have also blown upon enough impact. Comment: So my experience with Future Auto has been wonderful. The staff is caring and extremely pleasant. My daughter lives in LA at the young age of 23 and my wife and I are in North Carolina. Her Jeep broke down and I had a good idea of what it was after she told me what was going on. So the tow truck guy (Raphael) referred me to Future Auto. In a time of everyone taking advantage of people and situations it was nerve racking to try to handle this from across the country. I spoke with the staff and they ordered the part. We arranged the tow when the part arrived. I decided to do a few other services while the Jeep was there and everything went incredibly smooth. They found another issue and sent pictures and facetime me to back up their claims. Again looking after the safety of my daughter. The battery was dead (bad cel) and instead of just charging me for another, they directed her to return it under warranty down the street. Just a great experience. The Jeep was fixed on time and they communicated every step of the way. We have now found a place of trust and confidence to service her car. As a father that is comforting to know. Thank you to Futue Auto and its entire staff for helping keep one of my three most precious children safe!!!! By the way they are affordable. Not cheap but fair. Comment: I took my Dodge Caliber here to get a whine and clunking looked at. They charged me $200 and couldn’t figure out what was causing it. Saying it must be internal engine damage and they would need to charge more and hold the car longer in order to take the engine and transmission out and apart to figure out the issue. I decided against that and did my own research and figured out that it was the alternator. The biggest giveaway that it was the alternator was the fact that you could see a bit of smoke coming from the alternator pulley when the car was running. I replaced the alternator and now she’s back purring like she use to. I won’t be coming back to Future Auto Service because they clearly do not know what they are doing. Oh and they tried to charge an absurd amount for the maintenance they recommended I have done to the car. The guy I talked to was nice though.

I heard a noise and don’t know what it is… my window panel isn’t working, etc. They are always super nice and best part is they are honest! Comment: I feel conned.I came in to find out what was wrong with my car, it’s an older BMW and the transmission error light had come on. I mentioned that I wouldn’t fix it if the repairs were more than the car is worth.So, they charged me $195 to run a diagnostic and tell me what I already knew-that the transmission error codes were on. The diagnostic service is usually free at other auto shops.I wouldn’t be so annoyed but for the way they handled it. They called me to say that I needed to pick up my car that day as they needed the space. I said I’m on my way. When I got there nothing was ready. It took over 30 mins to take my money and give me my keys.First, I sat in the office waiting, then I wandered around until I found the mechanics. They couldn’t figure out which car was mine, it wasn’t ready, they needed all my information all over again. They kept going back and forth from the office to the garage. I was so confused as that did not inspire confidence that they knew what they were doing nor did it inspire honesty as they wanted $195 since I wasn’t going to have the repairs done.They did knock $100 off the $195 diagnostic bill as they could tell I was getting frustrated with the wait.Everyone I’ve told this story to can’t believe they charged me $195 to tell me what I already knew. So, lesson for me and I will not be back to this place.

Also when turning in my vehicle to get repaired the mechanic offered to take me home (thats nice, i already signed over my car, i did the paper work) but he offered to use my car even though i brought it in to get serviced..... I had a really good experience with these guys when they inspected a car I was looking to buy previously so I gave them a call. Comment: Came in on a Saturday afternoon when other shops were closed and got a couple shocks replaced on my sons Jetta. Has a great, clean, new lounge . Watched a little Rambo while they worked on the car. Excellent customer service.

Comment: I brought my very old car in because when I would step on the brake while at a light my engine temperature would climb to near over heating temperatures. Being recently unemployed I was fearful I was also going to start racking up credit card debt to repair my car. I explained my situation to the nice gentleman at Future Auto Service and they were very sympathetic. I left my keys and hoped for the best. I received a phone call less than 24 hours later stating after checking out everything I only needed a new radiator cap. They also cleaned up a mess that was causing my temperature gauge to not work properly and in the end instead of taking advantage which they could have easily done my total cost for their diagnostic and repair was barely the cost of a nice lunch. But that isnt the most important part. Upon inspecting my car up on the rack they noticed that my front tire on the inside where you wouldnt notice it without having the car up in the air was shredded down to the metal. Which means one or two good potholes and it would have popped. And before you say aha thats how they got you, they didnt try to sell me a new tire. They understood money was tight and recommended that I could buy a good used one for probably $30 from one of the vendors across the street and I should do so immediately before getting into trouble. Now I dont know what sort of laws or ethical codes mechanics have to follow in California Im sure there arent any but this is something they didnt have to tell me about nor as I said when they did tell me they didnt try to sell me a new tire. This is called compassion towards another human beings plight. You dont get that at most places especially in Los Angeles. So if you have something wrong with your car take it to Future Auto Service and be honest with whoever assists you. You wont be disappointed.

Comment: This was the 3rd shop I came too. Last two shop that I went to gave me a quote to replace a A/C clutch switch for $300 or more because of the difficulty. Came to Future Auto, they looked at it said $100 and about an hour of labor time. A little over 35 minutes after starting the part was replaced and got it done. Nice clean facility which nice to see for an auto repair shop. I would recommend them and they will the first shop I will call for any repairs that I cant do. Great job you guys!

Comment: HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Brought in my Audi for a check engine light that I diagnosed and had a general idea of what the repair entails. These guys were very knowledgeable of German cars and what the general issue was, they were flexible to take my car in right before they closed, and even offered me a ride back home. They called me the next morning with the estimate and had my car out of the shop the following day. They were very fair on pricing and finished my car in a short period of time so I only had to pay for the rental car for just one day! Excellent experience. I will be coming back.

Comment: I always take my car here for service and they do a great job with oil changes, tire rotations, checking fluids, and keeping the car on the road. Best price i have found for service. Recently I had to replace the passenger window in my car, and they were significantly cheaper than anyone I could find. Replaced it within 3 hours and even cleaned the broken glass out of the car!! Highly recommend. They are trustworthy and do a great job.

Comment: Yes, I an satisfied with the repair and customer service.We were customers of Chalard since 1989, and now with Future Auto, since they bought from Chalard.When we came in Carlos Gomez checked my car and explained that the noise may be from thin oil and needed thicker oil.We also spoke to Jose the mechanic and told Jose what Carlos suggested.When we picked up my car Rafo confirmed that Jose did the repair of changing the oil to 10/40. 2003 Nissan Frontierthat I have maintained in excellent condition.
