UPDATE 7-18-19: My daughter got the Note 5 soaked in water. I brought it here. They are so friendly and kind! Fair, thorough, and understanding. This is my go to place for devices that arent warrantied or on a plan. STILL highly recommend! Thank you for the great quality work you gentlemen do!Fast and fairly priced! Called about 2 or 3 weeks prior and was quoted $75! Every other place was between $90 and $125. The gentleman was super friendly! They repaired the charging port on our Samsung Note 5 within an hour! Would totally recommend and use again!

I had an excellent experience with GadgetDrop. I had 2 smart phones to get repaired. One had a cracked screen, and the other a bad charging plug and a broken front camera lens cover. They gave me a very reasonable price, and fixed both perfectly - the same afternoon I dropped off the phones! Ive tried to get phones repaired before, and have always been disappointed - expensive repairs and long wait times. Not here - this company clearly knows what it is doing, and even if you have to drive a bit to get there, they are worth it!I just had my second screen repair with GadgetDrop in Oak Park, and was very pleased and satisfied with the service. I love this place! Heres a few reason why:-- Price: I cant tell you if its a good value, but I can tell you that the work put in makes it a great value. I feel that regardless of the price, I can trust that it was as good as new when finished.-- Set Up: The store is set up in such a way that you can see him work. Its a level of transparency that I appreciate.-- Wont Try to BS: Ive brought in a couple of things, and on one of them, he showed me exactly how and why he wasnt able to fix it. He didnt lie and try to replace with subpar parts.All in all, I highly recommend!
This place is amazing!!! I would highly recommend this place to anybody. I went in there with a cracked screen, broken LED screen, as well as a broken phone speaker and all of that together cost me $100. $70 for the glass repair and $5 extra to fix the LED screen and $25 for my speaker. Not only is the price amazing so was the time. He told me it would take about 20 minutes and 10 minutes later I was walking out with my fixed phone. I even waited a couple weeks to see if I would have any issues, Its been about a month and it works perfectly fine. Not only do they fix phones, my cousin went there to get his game system fixed and that was also a good price so I really recommend this place.

Amazing service! I can’t speak highly enough about this place. This is the second time I’ve brought my iphone here. The first time, I had a cracked screen. It was fixed within 10 minutes and for a much more reasonable price than other places. This time, I dropped a couch on my phone, completely smashing in the volume controls. I didn’t think it could be saved. Repairs were finished in less than an hour, and my phone is like new again! Plus I didn’t break the bank to fix it. I would recommend GadgetDrop to anyone looking to fix serious damage to their phone!

Unfortunately they were not able to repair my broken laptop screen, but the guy was very friendly and upfront. He explained that my specific brand of laptop is difficult to get the right parts and taking apart the laptop to get to the screen is difficult and would be too costly and too much of a risk. I appreciated the honesty because on their website it says if they attempt to fix something and cant fit it, you will still pay a fee for them taking it apart. He could have just taken the laptop, attempted to fix it and not been able to and charge me the fee. But he was very honest and upfront. And I have heard lots of great things about this place, I will definitely come here first for any future electronic repairs. And maybe next time Ill but a laptop thats easier to fix lol

I had an iPhone 6 that needed a new screen after being shut in the car door, and I was in and out of the store in 10 minutes with a phone that looks brand new. Called 3 different people and ended up choosing this company to fix my phone. Excellent service and repair each time I brought my iPhone 6 Plus to get fix. From the first time I got my screen replaced they were fast and the best prices around town. Today I had an issue with my battery and they replaced it free of charge, so any time I have a issue with my phone I will bring it to them first. Not even the Apple Store was to assist me like gadget drop did.
My transaction with gadget drop was very professional and timely. I was able to get my audio problem fixed on a iPhone 5 and a LCD screen fixed on a Galaxy S4, all in the same day. This shows me that they try there best to keep stock in on parts rather then having to order as customers comes. Great Customer Service.
Excellent and prompt service!! I took my Galaxy S5 ans cracked screen and Hadeer has my phone looking brand new! Excellent, excellent service! I brought in 2 Samsung tablets that were totally dead. One was a Note 10.1 and the other was a Note 8.0. They were able to fix them both and they now work perfectly. I was shocked! Plus, the price was amazing and they fixed them both overnight. I am bringing all of my electronic devices here in the future and Im recommending them to all of my friends. I cant say enough good things about them.

I usually never leave reviews for places but these guys saved me! I had so much important stuff on this phone and I ruined it by water damage. I took it to a different repair shop first and they said it would take about a week to fix & it would cost $150-$200. Gadget Drop told me they could fix it in the same day and charge me waaaay less. It wound up taking 2 days just because I had to go out and get a new screen and come back but I am super happy with my service!!
Wonderful experience at this store I recommend all to go and get phones fixed they work with you they fix my daughter phone fast and replace missing parts in the quoted price. I went to 2 or three stores before this one and they prices were higher and they didnt have all we needed and they took longer then a hour to fix phone. They had everything in stock for an iPhone 4 and they still had cases, which apple dont even have. And they were done in less then a hour. Andre at the Woodward, Royal Oak location was super cool. Fixed my phone in less than 1 hour and at a very reasonable price. Even told me if he couldnt fix it he wouldnt charge me. You cant beat that, and he took time to explain and show me what he did. This is very good and somewhat rare service.

Honest, speedy, fairly priced, and thorough. I did a number on my iPhone 6S (got a little too toasty at a party and tested its shock durability). It somehow still worked, but the screen was mutilated. Came into Gadget Drop, and I was out in 20 minutes, good as new. Its rare to find a repair place that prides itself on reputation quite like this. Ill never take a mobile device anywhere else. Thanks, guys!
I woke up this morning and my phone dropped off the bed. Black spots and lines. By noon it was growing he fixed my phone plus my daughters cracked screen in twenty minutes. Very friendly and personable. Reasonable priced compared to some other places I called. Highly recommended!!! Thank you soooo much!!
These guys are very nice and helpful and were able to assist me immediately with my phone. I was in and out in less than half hour with a phone that worked like new and for significantly less of a cost than I had been quoted from other repair shops. They even have a great selection of used and some new phones and tablets. I will not go anywhere other than here ever again for an electronics repair.
Best service ever. Took my phone to three different store and kept getting new things wrong with my phone. I finally took it to them and they fixed the “real” problem and soldered a new chip in ,which other stores can’t do. Now my phone is working like new and finally charging. They even fixed my front camera for free after it was accidentally messed up in less then 10 minutes. Great store if you ask me.
I absolutely love this place and I would recommend it to everyone. I dropped my phone and shattered it. I called 4 different places and their prices were doubled the price of gadget drop and they said it would take about 2 hours to fix but when I took it to gadget drop i was in and out in 20 mins. There are 2 types of business owners in my opinion. 1 that will say and do anything (corrupt or not) to get your money. And the other one is a business that will bend over backwards to have happy customers who keep coming back. So thank you gadget drop for being the rare business where they do things right to make people happy.
We came in with a broken screen pretty much falling apart and just defensive thinking about how they might want to rip us off. We left 10 minutes later with a fixed phone and with a smile on our faces just from the kindness of the owner. Amazing costumer service and fast delivery, very reasonably priced, couldn’t have found a better place than this.

My smartphone would not power up even though I had replaced the battery and charger. Discovered the connecting points where the battery made contact with the phone were bent. Service person immediately straightened out the tiny metal strips, and the phone was ready in five minutes. Totally professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to someone else without hesitation.
I dont generally write a review for a business until AFTER Ive seen their work... and Im still waiting for our first GadgetDrop repair to even get back to me... but the experience so far has been great enough that it was worth saying so. (Ill update, of course, if the repair itself doesnt meet the same expectations)I first called GadgetDrop because a friend suggested I give them a try. The person who answered greeted me politely, which alone is unusual enough these days. I was given what sounded like a fair price and instructions on how to get them the item. Within 72 hours, I got a call back stating the item was fixed and asking me to call them, which I did 20 minutes ago. The total repair price was LOWER than initially stated, even including shipping charges to get the item back to me.I also think it says a lot that the person I spoke to ASKED for a Google Review (which I would have done anyway since I own my own business) - but it speaks volumes about a company if they REQUEST online reviews. So, as I wait for the item to get back to us, I have total confidence in the company already, and will use them again in the future if needed.

On the contrary to the guy who only put one star down. I have had 4 different phones fixed by this gentleman. He is unbelievably Good at what he does and the most honest repair man Ive ever dealt with. And I have a teenage son that breaks everything he gets his hands on. I drive 45 minutes to go see him and wont go anywhere else!
Sent in my phone for repair, which all I wanted was my phone fixed, not restored. I needed all my data on it for work. I called him prior telling him this but I signed the paperwork saying it’s OK to delete everything so it’s my fault. But the phone only worked for 3 hours and did the exact same thing as I sent it in for, they didn’t repair it. I emailed multiple times with pictures and videos and no response. I went through PayPal which did not help me either. HUGE WASTE OF $250. DO NOT GET YOUR PHONE REPAIRED HERE.
The service was very good and everyone I talked to was very helpful. I mistakenly put my phone through the wash machine cycle!!!! Although my phone was too costly to repair, they did everything they could to help me and finally solved my problem by selling me a $5.00 external speaker so I can at least make calls. I would definitely recommend Gadget Drop for any repairs at an honest price.
I love the gradget drop he fixed my phone completely my screen was shattered, microphone need to be repaired or something like that AND he fixed the default in my phone which cause me not to hear anything or make calls (facetime). i would definitely recommend them to whoever. very quick service also!

The work this store does is awesome! Sprint told me my charging port was broken but they were wrong. They found the real problem and fixed it very quickly for an affordable price. Even threw in a new home button and screen protector. I will be back! ❤️

Keep in mind I started looking early as soon as majority of them opened around 10am. 2 stores I went in on 7 mile had no tech to tell me the exact pricing for what I needed or the timing in which it would take. Once I found Gadget Drop I spoke with Hadeed and he told me the price and the time with no hesitation. He was also willing to work with my budget. The problem with my unresponsive tablet was diagnosed and fixed within a matter of an hour or two.I return with a problem with my tablet, a problem that was MY fault, they got me in and out again and didnt even charge me the price that they couldve. They fixed both of my iPods in just one day! One of them had a shattered screen so bad that the home button had fallen out and the others battery was so bad that it was pushing out the screen. Terrible, I know I thought that I was going to be told that they were beyond repair but nope! They explained to me not only what was wrong with them since I had initially thought the one with its screen coming out only had a screen problem but fixed them so fast that I didnt even have time to miss them! It can be a little hard to find your first time going but its one hundred percent worth it!

I was referred to the Gadget drop by another retailer. I had a great experience. My cell phone was dropped in a rain puddle and left outside overnight, I didnt even know I had dropped it and found it completely shattered and full of water the next morning. Even though my phone was externally repaired by a different shop, Hadeer and his team did all of the real work. My phone originally had about $300-400 worth of damage, he worked with me and repaired my phone for a very fair amount, and even fixed my wi-fi connection which I believed was damaged from the water corrosion. They are a very professional team, they are very honest and he will tell you up front if he is able to fix your items. I appreciated how he took his time to work with my phone and get everything fixed correctly. I received repairs on an iPhone 6s plus. It works just like new. It is in mint condition. Thank you. My iPhone fell on the floor last night and I totally shattered the screen, so I called Gadgetdrop and they told me it would only take 15 minutes to repair my iPhone. When I arrived, the staff was ready to assist, I couldnt believe it at first till I got my iPhone back fixed and ready to go. Best consumer experience in a very long time. I had a power button problem with my Moto X. The root cause turned out to be a bad trace on a circuit board. The tech jumpered the circuit and I was out the door in 1/2 hour for $35. Highly recommended!
Great service initially they repaired the screen to my sons iPad and returned it very quickly after about a month I noticed that the home button was off center then it did not work at all. I recently took it back in and they receded the screen but the home button still does not work. The home button was in perfect working condition prior to bring it in to these guys now it doesnt work at all. They replaced my button with a different button and put the home button on the screen which is really not acceptable seeing that my home button was in perfect working condition prior to bringing it in for the screen repair. A month had passed so he offered to set the screen but did not offer to return my home button to its prior working condition this is very disappointing because I had no problems with my home button before I brought it in and this is a brand new iPad. They should have offered to repair it or send it to Apple to have this button repaired and replaced because they are the ones who took it off center and now it no longer works. Wow these guys are obviously great at what they do judging from all the positive repairs and testimonials they screwed this one up.

Hader took great care in the a fast and speedy repair of my broken note 4 screen. He not only repaired the screen he replaced the ENTIRE LCD. I was late after the were about to close and he still took care of me and got me put in 15 minutes. Awesome SERVICE!
Ive been repairing my own iPhones since the iPhone 4 and honestly never again. The screens most of us can buy just arent as reliable as they used to be, so Ive learned. After cracking my iPhone 7 plus screen I replaced it earlier this year. The other day, I went to reset my phone as it was acting funny - and wound up in a boot loop that neither updating nor restoring would fix. So, I brought it in here hoping that I didnt totally F my phone, and it turns out I didnt! The LCD was bad. The guys were super knowledgable on everything related to iPhones and honestly I had to head back to Birmingham before everything was set to go (I intended to just drop it off and come back later anyways) but seriously they called me 10 minutes after I left and it was all set to go. I was able to head back there an hour or so later and the quality of the new screen vs the one I had doesnt even compare! So much better. Im never replacing my own screens again haha. Highly, highly recommend!
I will be filing a complaint. I went to get my 6s repaired and then realized that i could see a image of the phone screen in the back ground of my phone that wouldn’t go away. I was traveling and was out of town for a month so I couldn’t go back to get it fixed. My phone froze up on me from time to time and just recently (yesterday) my phone had made more than several phone calls. I called the business back today to question them on if it had anything to do with the work they had done on my phone. They were very rude and didn’t help at all and could only tell me about their 30 day warranty and hung up in my face. I’m sure even though they have five stars, they are fooling people. Because come to find out now i have a virus in my phone because of the repair they had given me and now i have to go apple care and pay more money on a phone that i just gotten fixed by this business. I warn you guys to check your phone and if and how it acts differently. I am highly upset that they responded rude to me and continued to cut me off when i asked them what could be the issue. I understand you have been in business for 25 years but you still messed up my phone.. and i chose to support this business especially for the good prices. Very Disappointed. I am very busy so i don’t have the time to make phone calls from a different state because you guys didn’t do your job. And no i’m not a fake account pendeja, i only leave bad reviews when somebody gives me horrible service.

I didnt even get my phone fixed here, but my experience with them was great enough to write a review. I called to ask how much it would be to fix a cracked screen on a Galaxy S7 and it was going to be pretty expensive (at any place that I checked). Since my phone was almost brand new, they gave me some advice on what to say to Verizon to get them to let me upgrade the warranty package on my device, allowing me to make a claim on the damage and pay way less for my broken screen.
Take your iphone here! Don’t bother with the Apple store. Go here first every time. He has fixed 2 shattered screens (iPhone 7 and 6 plus) and an unresponsive touch screen iPhone 6plus. Super reasonable prices, beating Apple prices every time with OEM Apple replacement screens. Very friendly and fast service!
Best service you could ask for!! I have a Galaxy s5 that after i updated all the software just a month ago my battery overheated and my phone kept freezing, after taking it to Verizon TWICE to have it reset it still kept freezing up! Gadget drop not only solved the issues with my phone and gave me a replacement battery the SAME DAY but was extremely reasonable on the repair cost as well. I have a Google Nexus 5 which had the problem of going in the infinite rebooting loop. Gave it to a shop in Bloomfield Hills and they charged $15 just to figure out what is wrong with the phone. Needless to say they thought it was software issue.Second attempt, I brought the phone to Gadget Drop on Greenfield Road and they fixed my phone in 1 day. Replaced the power button which was the problem child. Perfect service, expertise, quick and humble. I will recommend this place every single time.
I dropped my phone in water three weeks ago and it died I never backed it up so I lost all my information which was very frustrating! Needed my man phone fixed his charger port was broken. So i went to a place on Middlebelt cause he said he can fix it get there he would have to send out. During the short wait on line, I saw the owner decline to take make a repair on a customers phone informing him instead how to save himself money. While I was visiting from NYC and my kid broke my screen on the plane. He repaired my screen in 10 minutes flat with a genuine Apple part for less than I had paid in NYC for an OEM. Hadir was very friendly and knowledgeable about his work. It was almost worth breaking my screen to meet such a person! Dont waste your time anywhere else. Can I give a 6th star review?!
I came In With A Completely Damaged iphone 6 when I arrived He took a look at it and told me Exactly what was wrong my screen was peeling My speaker wire was Broken and it was Water Damaged. He told me dont worry he will fix it within 15 mins. My Samsung Galaxy S3 wouldnt power up anymore. It would just boot up to the Samsung logo and power off again, over and over. Then I discovered Gadget Drop! My iPhone screen went out leaving my phone unable to function. (from what I could tell) Unfortunately, nothing was backed up. I got engaged weeks before this happened and my only pictures from that weekend were on this phone. (I know Im an idiot for not using the cloud) I took it to the Apple Store and pleaded that I only cared about retrieving my pictures, but no luck. They referred me to a local Ubreak Ifix store, who gave me the same bad news. Then I found GADGETDROP; Not onlying were they skilled but I was very impressed with their honesty. The phone was so damaged that a call could not be made. We were in and out within 30 minutes.. looks like a new phone. Friendly staff and a Coney Island next door so while you wait you can eat. I recommend..

Sprint store tried to give me options that were equally as costly but not optimal on time. Went here, paid same price (considering I had more damage than I thought) and was out within 15 minutes.

I had to have my screen repaired because the screen would not turn on, they explained what was wrong with my phone in detail, fixed my phone, and sent me back to work in under 20 minutes. I forgot to mention that the price was extremely fair. I definitely recommend this repair center!

2021-11-18The entire staff but specifically Dominic was very professional, friendly, and helpful during my visit at Gadget Drop Repair Center. I came in to have my cracked screen fixed. They were able to order the screen I needed, which came within a few days. Once there it only took about 45 minutes to repair. Dominic informed me that the new screen ordered had some weird detect but ensured me hed paid for overnight shipping and the new screen would arrive the next day. And it did. The new screen fits perfectly, doesnt have any weird defects, and works just fine 😁 I will definitely do business there again. Very fast good service. Thanks again!
