On 4/11/2024 I called & made an appointment for them to look & repair my Drop Down Ramp Gate on my 22ft.X 8.5 ft wide enclosed work trailer having just rebuilt the gate which was now super heavy & needed a new Spring Assist Upgrade. Rich Came on time for the appointment which was made just 1 day prior. He looks at the Trailer Gate & says YES I can fix it no problem right here & now, quoted me a reasonable price & started on it. He had all the components, tools, & a training tech to do the job. 2 hours later & the Job is done. What impressed me about Rich is his knowledge, skills, & concern for safety when making the repairs. this is the s2nd time ive had them do work for us. I recommend this company hands down. Comment: I recently had my garage door serviced in Porterville by Angel. He showed up a little bit before my scheduled appointment and was polite and very knowledgeable of the business. He gave us a full explanation of what repairs we would need, as well as a recommendation of what parts we should replace. We ended up replacing the rollers, the main spring swapping out a very old garage door opener with a brand new modern one, with remotes, sensors, a door controller by the interior door and a wireless keypad outside. I had an old universal remote in my truck with two open buttons and Angel programed that one to our new garage door opener as well. At the end of the job, Angel thoroughly explained how to keep up the maintenance and properly lubricate our system every six months so that we dont void any warranties on our equipment. Excellent customer service and very helpful information was given. I would definitely recommend this company for any garage door needs!

(By the way in Yelp they deny that they ask this but they did repeatedly ask if my parents or I could drive down for this) We had already AGREED to hold off installation at the START of the state mandated shelter in place such that this is not an essential business to us, the customer, right now. But after this second phone call & with that attitude I had NO TRUST she will do a good job and I canceled the order.If we didnt cancel our order they were going to charge $50 a week to hold the door or they had the audacity to ask us if they can break the lock into our current garage door, take the stuff out from inside so they can install the door and have us pay over the phone (I’m sorry I’m not going to be pressured by someone who already yelled at me angrily to come into our personal space to install a garage door that we don’t need at the moment and have the assurance they locked up and installed it correctly only because you “guarantee” it will be ok 🙄)Needless to say, during this uncertain time, the true colors of this business emerged. He had it fixed in less than 10 minutes. Then he adjusted the main spring and lubed everything. Plus, he instructed me in how to maintain it so this wouldnt happen again. That garage door runs sooooo smoothly and quietly now!!!! Comment: We were out of state when our old door collapsed. Rushed back and Garage Door Repair and Installations were able to look at it next day. However, it was a week before they could put a new door in. We had to replace the motor as well because of a new law requiring battery backups, even if your motor is fine is $450+. In spite of the long time, and unexpected cost, I was very happy with their professionalism! The installers did a great job. The new door looks nice and works great.

When I called this company, Patricia was very knowledgeable on the phone and explained what the issue could be and let me know that she had an appointment open the same day. Comment: Called for a free estimate. Rich called and said he would be 15 mins late. He blamed traffic. Was 20 mins late. When he came he showed me the list of prices. We chose a model and paid 104 for deposit. Then a few hours later i found out my home warranty was going to cover the repairs. As soon as i found out i called the company and canceled my appointment. I spoke to Patricia and she was very nice and thanked me for calling promptly. She stated that Rich was in Fresno picking up garage doors but that she would give him the message. I was very impressed with her professionalism and thought i would consider them in the future. Then 15 mins later Rich calls me and is speaking loudly telling me that he has my machine and he just picked it up in Fresno. I apologized and told him i was grateful the home warranty was going to cover it. He begins yelling and asking who the company is. For some reason i told him although it was none of his business. He then begins talking bad about this other company and states that he doesn’t know them and they probably don’t even do garages, etc. then he keeps raving on. I gave the phone to my husband because i had to use the restroom and i felt we had nothing more to discuss. I come out of the restroom and my poor elderly husband is on the phone telling Rich that he doesn’t have anything to do with this. Rich is yelling and aggressive. I get the phone and tell him again we are sorry but there is nothing we can do. He keeps on yelling saying that he went all the way to Fresno to pick up my machine and i “better pay him for his gas”. I told him that Patricia stated that he went to Fresno to pick up garage doors. Rich says he picked up garage doors too but he went for my machine. He continues yelling. Finally i hang up and text him that i expect my deposit to be back on my credit card in full within 1-2 business days as stated by Patricia and I also texted to Rich to NOT contact me again harassing me for his gas. It was scary how fast he turned on you! Wow, i should have took his bad reviews seriously. Watch out for this guy. I am glad he will not have access to my garage/home.
