Comment: Overall, happy with the deal, sales team, and the car. Called and spoke to Ali and presented him with the deal I was looking for. After couple of back and forth on the details, a deal was made. Visited in-person next day and Ali had the Ioniq washed and charged for test drive plus partial paperwork completed to save me some time. All good to go. Gentleman in finance office accepted my cheapness and allowed me to walk out of his office a “winner.” Everything was clear cut and after sale promises were kept.

Comment: Absolutely terrible. I had an appointment set up to buy a Tesla Model 3 and they sold it out from under me. I was the first person to call about the car. It wasnt ready according to Frankie. They call me 2 days later and I set up an appointment. Amar the sales manager wanted to run my credit before I got there. Good thing I didnt. Amar calls me when Im half way there to tell me the car is sold. What a terrible establishment. Avoid like the plague.

Comment: I dropped my santa fe off 2Wks ago.David Hernandez helped me. Great customer service when i first dropped off my vehicle.My vehicle was at the workshop for a wk. Since i heard extended warranty the vehicle was examined and covered repairs was taken care off .However it was very difficult to get hold of my service advisor or anyone.Frustrating indeed. I just noticed one of the lights not wking and another minor issue. I talked to David and was mind enough to tell me to bring it in.I have called him, texted him and left 2 messages to schedule an appointment.So far no return calls.Customer retention should be one of the priorities of any service oriented business..The phones are not answered in a timely manner.We all work and cannot be on hold for too long.Hoping for a call back and resolution

From the moment what truly impressed me, though, was the exceptional service I received from my salesman, Ricardo. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the vehicle and took the time to understand my needs and budget. He wasnt pushy at all, which is a huge plus for me. Instead, he patiently answered all my questions and showed me several cars that fit my criteria. For example, I was particularly impressed with Ricardos ability to talk to his Finance Manager, Sales manager, and even General Manager. Theres not anything he wouldnt try to get you the best deal.Most importantly, Ricardo and the finance department were willing to work with me to get a deal that I was comfortable with. They explained all the financing options clearly and were able to find a payment plan that fit my budget.Overall, I cant say enough good things about my experience at Garden Grove Hyundai. If youre looking for a new or used car, I highly recommend checking them out. Ask for Ricardo- hes the best!

Comment: Took my car in for a basic part replacement and when they said the car was ready, i went to go pick it up. I waited for 30 mins before they handed me the keys to someone else’s 65k car. I told them it wasn’t my car and the service people told me they lost my keys. An hour later, they told me it was in another customers car. Unacceptable. No service recovery offered because there were no managers who 1. We’re on site 2. Willing to take 4 mins to talk to me. Do not come here, unorganized and unsafe.

Comment: Easily the best car buying experience I’ve had over 5 different vehicles purchased. Reach out to Frankie after I located my dream car through Hyundais inventory search tool. He was quick, polite and not afraid to research an answer for my question if he didn’t immediately know it. I was initially skeptical to drive to Garden Grove from Bakersfield in fear that the promised price was lip service and they would flip the script upon my arrival. My biggest gripe with buying a new car is dealing with the financing portion and usually the “money guy” is awful, but Ammar was awesome. He ran the numbers for all the different term lengths and rates quickly and didn’t even fight back against any of the “additional services” they initially tried to sell me. 10/10 would buy from Hyundai Garden Grove again.

Comment: They deceive the people, DONT GO.I planned to buy Hyundai, I saw several used cars on their website around $17k, when I got there they said those cars are not available !!!. I checked new cars, tag on the car was about $24k, it was 4th July, so they said they will have discounts when I got inside and sit for negotiation. When I got inside, they offered $32k !!! they said there is marketing adjustment, security staff, etc, etc. I had to get a car that day, so finally they discounted some amount around $28k. When we started to discuss payment, they forced me to use loan, I could pay with check but they didnt accept!! They said interest rate would be 8%; but I realized after several months it was actually 12% !!! And I understand several months after that they hard queried 11 times to my credit history, which affected to my credit score and will stay there 2 years. Shortly, Be careful when you go to dealers, even official ones, especially this one.

I asked for more recent photos, and he said he would send me in 3-4 days after it passed inspection. No problem. I didn’t hear from him by the fourth day so I reached out to see if car was still available. He said no, that it was sold! Ok whatever.The next day he text me saying the sale fell thru, and finally sent me the photos I asked for. He asked if i was still interested and how I planned to finance. I said yes - all cash. He said ok, let me talk to finance guy and I’ll get back to you. Guess what - no reply! I get it they don’t like all cash offers, but at least get back to me saying so.I was able to purchase another car thru a different dealership just days later. I’m glad I held out because it was a way better deal and much smoother process. Also, I avoided the $4000 markup that garden grove wanted for some nonsense! Like a special car wash (shouldn’t that be included), interior coating (no thanks) and roadside assistance (I have AAA).But guess what else? After all that, I’m still getting calls and texts from Garden Grove Hyundai to see if I’m still interested! No way am i dealing with them in the future. Stay away - they will waste your time.

Comment: I had a very positive buying experience with David, but recently I found out that I was misled about when my cars warranty would end. I was given one date for the Toyota warranty but when I took it to Toyota, they told me I had been given the wrong date and that the warranty already expired. This was something I signed off on when I purchased at GG. When I followed up with David and the finance department at Garden Grove, Ive just been met with denial and equivocation. Ive called them every single day for the past 7 or so days and without fail they tell me someone will follow up with me, but no one ever does. I bought a used car, I understood that it might have issues but thats why I made SURE to ask when the Toyota factory warranty would end. Dont buy a car here and if you do, dont trust anything they tell you.

Comment: I bought a used Santa Cruz from Garden Grove Hyundai recently and wanted to leave an honest review in the hopes that it might help someone going through the same car buying struggles I did.To start, I found that there are two types of dealerships: Ones that have higher, more realistic prices online, and ones that have super low prices online, but add on a bunch of unexpected dealer fees during the sale. Garden Grove is the latter (Huntington Beach and Fontana Hyundai are guilty of this too), which is fine if you know what youre getting into, but an unpleasant surprise if you dont, which explains a lot of the 1-star reviews.Unlike Huntington Beach and Fontana, though, Garden Grove was MUCH more willing to negotiate with me. I was fortunate enough to work with Leslie during my visit, and she was awesome, getting me a higher trade value for my car than anyone else. She was also able to come down on some of the add-ons. And while I didnt end up paying the price I received on the online quote, I still got the car for an amount KBB would consider good, which is OK with me.The finance manager at the end of the sale can sometimes be difficult when you buy a car as well, but the guy I worked with at Garden Grove wasnt too pushy and was really quite nice. I wasnt forced into buying any additional warranties I didnt want or need.Overall, Id say the salespeople here are among the best Ive ever worked with, and the process went smoothly without the feeling that I paid more than I should have. Having said that, I still removed a star because I hate the fact that the online quote is an outright lie. The trade value they quote is inflated and the dealer fees arent included, which is incredibly misleading, but if you know this ahead of time, you can still walk away with a good deal.

Comment: Ive probably made a review twice in my life... Dont go here. The service crew has very minimal knowledge and try to charge you for things that should be covered under warranty. This dealership has a terrible reputation according to other Hyundai dealerships. I was told multiple times that this place is run by dishonest people. I got a lemon. And even corporate was so slow about taking care of my problem. The whole thing took months. It was a mess. The service crew gave me back my car after they told me driving it would cause further damage. They told me the services it needed werent covered, even at 11k miles, I didnt even have it for a year. Problems started at 6k miles on my 2023 Hyundai Sonata hybrid. I was very patient through the whole thing, but it was clear this dealership is extremely dishonest. They apologize and tell me theyll make it right, but were terrible at communicating and never were honest about what was covered under my warranty. Corporate took care of everything in the end. I got the truth after talking to corporate. They did a buy back on my lemon, plus extra for the trouble.Go to Cerritos Hyundai to buy a Hyundai, and talk to Scott Kim. Theyre honest, knowledgeable, straightforward and so professional.

Ive been a loyal Hyundai customer since day one and even owned two previous Hyundai cars. However, my trust in the brand has been shattered after my third Hyundai turned into a nightmare.I left my one-year-old car for servicing at Garden Grove Hyundai, and to my shock, it was stolen right from their service area due to their poor security measures. The entire situation was a mess, and its hard to believe that something like this could happen.To make matters worse, when I initially purchased the car, Garden Grove Hyundai charged me over $2000 more than the Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) under the pretext of a market adjustment. They also included a Luna GPS application, which I later discovered was redundant since Hyundai already offers the BlueLink service for the same purpose.Following the theft, both Hyundai and the dealer washed their hands of the matter, directing me to their insurance. The insurance offered only the market value of the vehicle, which was 25% less than what I had paid for it. Comment: One of my best and quickest dealer experiences ever! My dealers name was Jose, and he was literally the best. He earned my business by finding the EXACT vehicle I wanted and saving it for me until I was able to make it down to the dealership. We worked on a killer price, and then shook hands. He was very nice and not pushy like Ive experienced before with other dealerships. After the purchase, he was even able to drive the car to my house to surprise my wife!! He then stayed and showed us every bell and whistle on our car. I could tell he was VERY knowledgeable with the hardware and software of the car...he wasnt just figuring it out as we asked. That was pleasant.So go to Garden Grove Hyundai and ask for my buddy Jose. Comment: Terrible customer service and liars.We bought a Santa cruz a few months ago brand new. We were told that the warranty is “bumper to bumper” but doesnt cover breaks or tires. That’s it. We were told if something breaks to bring it in as long as this issue wasn’t caused by an accident that it’s no problem and will be fixed. Also told we would have oil changes to up to 100,000 miles or 5 years which ever comes first. Both promises are lies. The trunk no long latches close and won’t lock. We brought it in right after we nocticed we’ve only had the car for a few months. They told us that this not covered by the warranty and they couldn’t prove that we didn’t do something to it to break it. Even though you can look at it and see that there’s no damage at all to the car. Also tried to get and oil change and they told us that we only have 3 oil changes left on the car. The car only has 8000 miles on it meaning we only have oil changes for up to 20k miles. Talked to someone else and they said we actually have oil changes to 63k not sure why they’re telling us 20k either way that’s not what we signed up for. If we knew that we weren’t going to be covered we would have went to Toyota. My Prius was covered for everything no questions asked. Big mistake not going to Toyota again.

Comment: BUYER BEWARE:I bought my car in August 2022 and I had read reviews about the listed price online being different when you come in, which was the case by $6,000. They tried to “bundle” additional options that weren’t listed on their website or 3rd party sites and said they couldn’t sell it without it. After an annoying 2 hours, I negotiated a higher amount for my trade in and accepted an addition service package that includes oil changes every 6,000 miles. This should have been a red flag for me, but the deal made sense and I bought the Sorento.I came in late 2022 and had my oil changed without issue. Service was great. I came in today and NOW I was told they only reimburse $40 per oil change now because of a policy change. I was pissed so I went to finance and had them print out my service contract and I called Fidelity Warranty to confirm my suspicion that they were choosing to play games and I was correct. The dealership is CHOOSING not to reimburse the entire amount.I talked to the Finance Manager and he said we have this happen a lot and you just need to call Fidelity. I told them I spoke to Fidelity and that they confirmed that the dealership is making the choice not to reimburse the full amount which would make me have to do a manual reimbursement for the remaining amount ($46). They immediately changed their tune and said they would take care of it, but when they tried to the system wouldnt do it so Sales is going to take care of it this time. They ultimately took care of it after pushing back, but they could not confirm that when I come back that I would t have the same issue. I am very insistent, but it’s likely they are doing this to everyone they are selling service packages to all because they don’t know how to administer the products and services that they sell.Thankfully, Fidelity said I can go to any other participating dealership which I 100% will be doing. I called a service rep at this dealership and asked if i could swing by with 4 regular lugnuts and they swap em out for me, he said no problem! Afterall, only takes a few seconds. But when i rolled up, the front office ppl tried to spin some story on me rhat they have to break them off and charge me $230. 😠 This little man of little character behind a desk denied they even had the key sockets, then after i stated the obvious that theyre a flippin hyundai dealership that services hyundais so of course they have those sockets, eventually he admitted the mechanics there do have all that... but still, $230.Wow.... Comment: This is the worst dealership I have ever seen. They are dishonest and liars. I bought a pre owned Mercedes and they told me that they had inspected the car and everything was working and nothing wrong. While I was there I saw one of the tires was way too low and I asked why this is so low. They simply said, we will fill it air and it will be good to go. It turns out after I bought the car, it had a leak and they know about it, cuz they inspect the car but didnt say nothing. I had to replace the tire and it cost me well over $450 dollars. Also, the car had alignment problem when I drove it which they did fix after I tried to walk away from them. Had I not insisted, they wouldve just sold it as is with nothing done. Also, the rear breaks was making a noise and I was told again they had inspected it and it meet the safety requirements.Furthermore, there was no Owner manual and only one key and after I asked for it, they said that is how they got it from the previous client. I WIATED 6 HOURS FOR AN OIL CHANGE, HEADLIGHTS CHANGE, AND WINDSHIELD WIPERS. I had an appointment at 9am and even arrived 30 minutes early just to ensure that my car would be there by this time. I specifically told Omar that all I wanted was my oil changed, headlights changed, and windshield wipers. Tell my why after my cars inspection which took 4 hours, omar comes back with three major things that need to be fixed, and one of them being my cooling system fluid. I told him I would not have them fix anything at this time and would like just my oil change, headlights, and windshield wipers done. 2 hours later I have a $430 charge that Omar did not bother to explain or review with me. He immediately got to charging me and no bother to explain what the hell went on. I see by previous reviews that this location has a history for not communicating to their clients what they are doing to our cars. I told the guy that I did not want anything else done to my car and upon reviewing my receipt when I got home, I realized I had been charged for something I did not approve. I even saw him cross off the 3 things I did not want to be done to my car. Also after the 6 hours of having me wait they did not bother to wash the damn car. They wet the windshield to make sure the windshield wipers worked and left all the dirt on the car. I called back to speak to Omar and no response despite a voicemail being sent. This place is robbing people of their money and causing people harm without a car in the world. If you take your car to its dealership they should treat you and your car with respect but I see that this location has no respect for their customers or themselves.

I asked multiple times to make it clear. They said its optional. Drove 2 hours with my wife and toddler. Test drove and while test driving I asked again and was told its optional and I dont have to take it if I dont want to. So I agreed with the price and everything went smooth until I got to the finance manager who tried to intimidate me and insisted that the add ons are required. I explained to him that I was told its optional. He said there mustve been a misunderstanding and that there a long list of people interested in that car and he cant give it to me if I dont pay an extra $3900 for the add ons. I walk out. Fortunately found a better Hyundai dealer (premiere Hyundai in moreno valley)with no add ons and for a better car (Kona) for less price than what they were asking for the venue after the add ons They were so upfront and easy to deal with I bought another one the following week.

The car I purchased was listed on their website at $20,883.00, after I got there, they claimed that if I wanted that car, I would also be responsible for paying for ELO GPS ($1995.00), Ally Theft Protection ($1495.00), an Appearance Protectant Sealant ($1865.00) and a Nitrofill Tire Protection and Roadside Assistance coverage ($495) because they were already on the vehicle (a total of $5,850.00).At the time they had me confused, stressed out and turned around af, but I reviewed the paperwork later, and almost all of these have 60 day cancellation periods, meaning, no, I didnt have to pay for them at all. So then I went into the facility to have the items cancelled, and the finance guy Armin Majidi, refused, saying it was impossible, despite my paperwork saying that it was.I just got off the phone with Ally Theft Protection and they were shocked and appalled that the dealership wouldnt refund my money and refunded it themselves immediately. Im working on getting the rest of these ridiculous add-ons removed, but much damage is already done since my monthly payments and interest are much higher than they wouldve been if they hadnt tried to screw me over.

All I needed was answers to my platinum extended warranty that I purchased at Hyundai and they were unable to give me that information. Gave me the run a round with their protocols. Said they would take my car in that day but wouldn’t look at it till 3 days from when I brought it in. Wouldn’t let me talk to a supervisor above them. This was the third issue I had with the same problem at this facility. Obviously they didn’t get it right the first and second time. Look when you buy a car youre not going to get the price you might see online. Some sales places make the price go up cause they can. David is always transparent what additional fees may be added, but makes sure its only necessary things for what youre looking for. He will even make sure to help you understand everything being purchased so you are not feeling lost. When you go to buy a car, the customer wants an affordable price, and the dealership wants to make money. David is the perfect salesman to put in the middle to make everyone happy. Everything was signed electric, they said copy will send to my email, which never did until yesterday i called in and request again. Was request several time after purchased, firstable they said it in usb, i asked where the usb they told me i have it! But was told will be send to email! Then got ignored all the way.By law they have to give you a copy of sale contract right after you signed, which they never did, just pushing the ball around. Why they doing that? To cover some shady thing they’re doing below:1. My car registration was due by 12/2024 on Reviver on the date i purchased, now it cut down to 12/2023! I was told before purchase i have 2 years registration, but it show only 1 & half year after, it still ok with it dont want to argue for half year. End up i get only half year!2. Reviver plate i was forced to buy it for 2k, was told 2k for 10 years subscription! Contacted Reviver why my subscription due by next year when i was paid for 10 years, they said they never had 10 years plan! And each year cost only $55. They took my 2k and paid $55 buck for my first year, the rest on me!3. Forced me to buy Elo gps for another 2k, the sale man kemo told me waiting for elo email me for set up. Never did, i asked him again he simply ignored me. Until yesterday i got copy of sale contract ( 2 month after purchased) then i saw elo gps name, i contacted elo directly and was told my car never register with them. So the dealer lied & rob my 2k paid for elo & never delivery!Contacted their finance department ask for refund of elo gps, it on contract but they did not fullfilled contract. And 9 years sub refund of reviver. He told me he cant!Im in contact with lawyer & also prepare to file report to Gov Agency. I encourage any one was victim from this dealers, donot let it go silent, not only for you, it also will help prevent further victims, pls contact me, we gathering a victims group then file lawsuits. Comment: This dealership is dishonest and unprofessional to say the least. I drove almost 2 hours to see a Santa Fe I was interested in and planned on paying cash for. I also had a trade in that I was aware was upside down. I did a lot of research prior to going to see the car, and I had specific but reasonable budget I needed to adhere to. First of all, when I got the initial price it had almost $15,000 worth of options added on, some of which were additional warranties that were actually supposed to be included with a Hyundai Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. The two managers I spoke with acted like they were doing me a favor to discount or take off a small amount of these options that I did not need or want. The kicker was that they told me there was problem with the engine of my trade in vehicle which is why they could only offer me $1,500. One manager even tried to tell me it wasnt safe to drive. I wish I would have remembered before I left that I had just had my car appraised the day before at another Hyundai dealership for over 3 times what they offered with no mention of this serious engine problem. They tried to con me into a finance contract for hours, and after getting to a number within my budget I almost agreed to it before they came back and told me the negative equity of my car was not included in the sales price. I had mentioned at least three times that the agreed upon price MUST include that amount, but they were so busy being dishonest about everything else, they must have missed that. I do believe that everything happens for a reason, and the very next day I was able to find another Santa Fe at a different dealership with virtually the same options and mileage for over $10,000 less. Oh yeah, and they gave me $5,500 for my trade in that definitely does not have a major engine problem. I wouldnt send my worst enemy to buy a car from these swindlers. Be very cautious and do your homework if youre even considering a car from this place. Theres plenty of other honest Hyundai dealerships to choose from, and I would recommend checking those out first.

I will not recommend a Hyundai to anyone. 6 year mark on the vehicle, 105k miles and the engine completely blew. I noticed in the last 2 years or so it was burning oil quickly and I was having to do frequent oil changes. If you look up other articles on this vehicle you will see multiple reports of the same issues. Clearly it was an issue as the whole engine got destroyed. Also want to note that there was absolutely no warning lights on the vehicle when the engine started to make knocking noises. Went through the dealership and through corporate Hyundai only to get a discount on a new engine. The day after I picked up the car after putting in the new engine at the dealership, the A/C started only blowing hot air. I reported the issue the next day and was denied coverage on the A/C both by the corporate and the dealer. Total for engine and A/C was over $4,000. Also, I was only contacted by one representative through corporate Hyundai after submitting my concerns over 2 months ago and of course they can’t do anything because it’s out of warranty. Just read the reviews yourself and do your research. Hopefully I can trade the car in elsewhere and I am definitely not going to buy another Hyundai.

Comment: These guys are running a con, highly unethical and questionably legal. I called to verify availability, price, and mileage on a car. Seemed appropriate for the market for comparable cars, slightly lower but still in the normal range, and I liked the color, so I drove down to have a look at it. Everything checked out on it, it was a nice car and everything seemed in order.Got to the point of talking final numbers and the financing guy came in and slapped the paperwork in front of me. There was an $8000 charge for dealer add ons that had never been mentioned or advertised up to that point! On a $19000 car! Then they acted like they were doing me a favor when they crossed it out and wrote $5000 in instead, saying they were giving me a discount.I got up and walked out immediately, theres no negotiating from that point. You should never have to pay for the prep work they did to get the car ready for sale, and while Ive had dealers try that in the past, never has it been so egregious.I expect they prey on the elderly and gullible, luring them in with reasonable prices and count on their ability to convince them that its normal and the hope that theyve already fallen in love with the car too much to let it go. Absolutely shameless. Pictured is the car I ended up getting, the same as the one I looked at at this location, albeit a different color, and for almost $10k less than they ended up asking for the one they had.

This was the worst attempted purchase of my life. I fear people fall for this. Sadly, they would not show or print the numbers sheet (big red flag). If dealer puts $495 nitrigen in tires and forces you to buy it, its not an option, which makes the advertised price quite false and misleading - by $7K! Comment: I went to look at the car. The car was dirty. It had construction dust on it. Thats why I couldnt see the scratches on the vehicle clearly. For this, I tried to wipe the dust in my hand. On top of that, the salesman said that I would draw the car. I conveyed that I wanted to see the clean car that he had to wash before presenting the car. Afterwards, he impolitely accepted my request. The car was washed and I checked it. When I said that there were deep scratches on the vehicle and I did not like it, they tried to normalize it. This part clearly shows that they are not customer oriented. I even thought of leaving the place at this stage. Then after driving 30 miles I decided to take the price and freeze. The price, which was 25, had suddenly increased to 35.5 with additional packages. By adding an extra price, they try to negotiate it later. Thats why I feel cheated after reading the comments here. They descended from 35.5 to 29 with bargaining. He then moved on to the finance department. I am now aware that I had been wronged here in two stages. and im worried about that. The first is to emphasize that the car is not under the sellers warranty, I hope I did not buy a broken car.the second is to sign the part in the agreement that I do not have the right to return,As a result, its been a day since I bought the car now.After reading the comments here, I was skeptical.their way of speaking is disrespectful and rude to the customer.I will not do business from here again.While Im glad that I dropped it from 35.5k to 29k, Im actually in doubt of having bought a broken car. Comment: I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with the Hyundai dealership in garden grove. I took my car to them with some issues, and unfortunately, they kept it for over three weeks without providing me with a loaner car, despite my repeated requests. To add insult to injury, they claimed that they replaced my engine and charged me $855 out of pocket, which was supposed to be only 10% of the total cost, with Hyundai covering the rest.Whats worse, just two days after getting my car back, it broke down again with the same symptoms. When I took it back to the dealership, they told me that the knock sensor needed to be replaced and demanded that I pay an additional $537 for the repair. This is despite the fact that the same knock sensor had already been fixed by Hyundai through a recall just a few months earlier.Additionally, I want to add that this dealership charges an extra 3% to pay using a credit card. This is simply unacceptable, as it feels like they are trying to nickel and dime their customers.Lastly, I took my car to them at 149k miles, which is still within the warranty time. They performed CAMPAIGN 209, which includes inspecting the engine and replacing it if damaged, as well as updating the knock sensor. And yet, less than 9K miles later, both of these parts failed again.Overall, I would strongly advise anyone against using this dealership. The level of incompetence and lack of customer service is unacceptable, and they seem more interested in making money off of their customers than actually fixing their cars properly. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

J says she has excellent credit, but never bought a car before, so it is not deep credit.Say nope,no extras. He leaves us comes back, another 20 minutes or so, 2000 in add ons.Leave again 1600 in add ons.She logs into her credit union account. To find better rate, J says wait dont submit, yet. Comes back better interest rate.Ask about add on. We sat website says optional, j pulls up website dealer add-ons additional cost. Says they wont sell it with out it. By this time we are already 3 hours there. So we give up. So great salesmen. Even with the dealer already established quote and rate. Conned us into 1600 in extras and 2 percent higher interest rate.Then still had us wait 45 minutes. To see finance. Who just kept lowering the add on cost and adding to the package. Till we gave up and said yes. In 2019 son bought a Hyundia with the quote through the website in Victorville, they honored the online quote.So I try to be a nice person and I try to believe people, unfortunately, never trust.Should be a law against giving a quote online, then not honoring it.

Comment: I first go to look at a 2020 Hyundai Kona electric I was interested in that was listed for $29000. Upon arrival, I was told it sold an hour earlier. Fine. Bad timing. No harm done. A few days later though, it’s back for sale, but now it’s listed for $30500. After calling, they said the sale fell through. When I asked about the price increase and if they would honor the $29000 price on the initial day I came to see them, they said “come on in, I’m sure we can reach some sort of agreement.” After test driving, we sit down to “run the numbers”. When I asked if they would honor the $29000 price from a few days earlier when I came to examine the car, they would not. They said they price cars based on the market, which changes daily. So already I’m not too happy because this is not what they said on the telephone before I drive 1.5 hours to see them.So now the real fun. At first they show me the numbers with $8000 in dealer add ons for paint protection, interior protection, etc… I explained I wasn’t interested so they re-ran the numbers. I was then told “the best we can do is to offer the car with $3000 in add ons.” After declining, I left and started to drive away. As I was driving away, The salesperson waved at me and said “we can take another $950 off the add ons.” I told the salesperson I would buy the car for $30500. As a matter of principle, I still think I have every right to expect the price to be $29000. So of course I will not pay more than $30500. They refused to sell the car for the currently advertised price. So I drove away.A week later they call me and ask if I’m still interested. I said yes, but only if they sell the car for $30500. I was told he would “see what he could do”. After 4 days, no one ever called me back.4 days after not receiving a call back, I then sent a text message to the salesperson. We then spoke on the phone. The new offer I was given was $30500 + $2200 add ons + they would drive the car to me so I didn’t have to come to the dealer. I about laughed. A 90 minute drive to the dealer is not worth $2200. Once again, I said I would buy the car for $30500 even though when I initially came to the dealer it was listed for $29000. He said he would “see what he could do.” That was 4 days ago. I’ve not heard anything. The car is still listed on their website for $30500. It’s been for sale for over 3 months.

They are threatening to take my loan / car away because they have not sent over the paperwork 3) my temporary license plate is about to expire in a couple gladys . They had finally called me back & I explained the situation to the finance guy, and he rudely mansplained the entire situation to me and just kept repeating what I was saying as if I did not know what I was talking about !!! He then went to say that if i get pulled over it’s fine, to just explain the situation to the police and i’ll be let go ( I don’t care, I shouldn’t have to deal with more inconveniences because of their fault and their unprofessionalism ) I shouldn’t have to be mansplained after saying multiple times that I know what the situation is and I know what i’m talking about, it’s rude. they acted like I was in the wrong. Then the guy comes to say he’ll send my stuff to the bank and me in two weeks. like what ??? horrible customer service - if i bring a matter to your guys attention that is on a strict time frame, where I can lose everything, because of your guys fault, u should do everything u can to fix it in a fast manner. Comment: I purchased a 2019 Hyundai Tuscon about 2 years ago. The salesman who helped me was really nice, and Im not complaining about that. What I didnt like was their service department. I took my car in for the dealers recommended package, which comes with a tire rotation, 27 point inspection, drain plug washer, fuel system treatment, brake inspection, oil filter, car wash, engine oil replacement and windshield washer solvent replacement. The service representative I got tried telling me the package I bought only came with an oil change and a tire rotation, and then proceeded to try to push me into getting an upgraded package that was only a little more expensive it was $600 more expensive. That doesnt seem like a little to me. In the customer notes section, I noted that my check engine light was on. When I got my car back, the light was still on and nobody even mentioned anything to me about why the light had been on. Thankfully, I was able to figure that one out myself but I feel like that issue should have probably been addressed some time during the maintenance. Unfortunately, I dont think I am taking my car back here for maintenance again.

Bara was my sales person he was friendly and straight to the point I felt like I was dealing with a good friend not just some sales guy who is more interested in getting selling me a finance fee. Tell him what your monthly payment and what options for the vehicle you want to negotiate or remove and save your self time. Comment: Stay away. They take forever to drop off your car. They take forever to fix your car. You will have an issue with your vehicle when you pick it up. They will take forever to fix it (again) and then they will try to charge you more money. They couldnt even get 4 tires installed correctly. Keep in mind they wont give you a loaner or cover the cost for a rental. They will not reimburse you for anything. It took 3 weeks to get my engine repaired which was covered under warranty. Then gave me the car back with a blown A/C compressor. They tried to charge me $1400 for the compressor and tried to enter it as a separate service ticket even though it was directly affected by the blown engine. They still made me pay $400 to fix the compressor. I just paid $200 labor to get 4 tires installed and $250 for an alignment and my steering wheel is literally bouncing all over the place and feels like my rear tires are going to fly off the vehicle

By the 2nd day I hadn’t heard back so I started to call, I was on hold for over 45 mins and finally someone informed me the lady who had help me it was her day off and there were no notes on my vehicle. Next day finally got the call saying they weren’t done but it was dedo pointing to being the motor. I needed to get somethings out of the car and after waiting for the service lady I wasn’t able to get them because the tech kept my keys in his tool box. The following week I had to start calling asking if they it was confirm the diagnostic and they said it’s the motor needs to be replace you are warranty and most likely the warranty will want prove you did service to the vehicle. I asked to be put on the waiting list for a loaner. Another week went by and I haven’t heard anything so started to call but the lady who supposedly was helping again wasn’t available I only wanted an update about the loaner but I was told I wasn’t even on the list. I am 6 days away from it being a month, the warranty hasn’t even received any paper work, I haven’t even seen any report of the diagnostic testing. This is horrible service. There is no ethic here, no consideration to the customer. I love my SUV but if I never have to deal with this dealership I be very happy. We went to purchase a vehicle a few months back and when we got there all of a sudden the price was hiked up and far from what my husband discussed with them over the phone. 2 hours of driving to this dealership with a baby and toddler jn only to be hoodwinked. We spent over 5 hours before we could agree on a decent price which was still above what was listed. Fast forward 4 months later went for a routine oil change by the Ford dealer closer to where we live only to be told that the oil cap was crossed tread and it should go by to the dealership to have them replace it as the car is under warranty still. My husband called and they told him to bring it in ( another 2 hour drive) he spent an entire day trying to get them to fix the problem but they keep insisting that he has to pay for the problem that was caused by their mechanics. They blamed the ford dealership however they have evidence to show they never touched the part. This Westbrook dealership is very dishonest and based on the reviews I am seeing here I think a new management is needed. I want my Russel Westbrook to address this issue with this car himself when we go to pick it up on Friday. We should not be paying for a problem that was caused by the dealership. It is not fair.

The salesman Carlos was actually nice and friendly, but that is as positive as the experience was. He promised me that the price and out the door figures wouldnt change, when I got there. We drove 2 hours from San Diego to Garden Grove, in traffic, my son had saved up for months to put a down payment and he was all exited, to be able to purchased his first vehicle on his own, the financing for the remainder moneys was all set. I explained to Franciso our intentions to finance through our credit union he claimed he didnt understand me when I gave him my credit union name, that he wanted to do the financing himself, and I told him that is not a problem, when we were getting ready to sign, he changed all the numbers on me, he added $1450.00 dollars in add on accessories, because he didnt have access to my credit union, and that he got confused on the name. Total BS he knew what he was doing, playing games thinking I would fall for it since we drove 2 hrs to get there. All he did was get my sons hopes up, and then drag those hopes through the mud, my son worked hard to save the down payment. And he was excited to get that Jeep, what he wanted exactly. I was in the business for 12 years, and I was a finance manager for 3 of those years, and not once did we play games like this. Terrible experience, customers please stay away from this dealership., if you want a Hyundai please go to Frank Hyundai in National City, in San Diego county. I was a manager there and they respect the customers. Why because they know the customers pay their bills, Franciso is a liar and a trickster, the old adage of do not trust lawyers and used car salesman, he fits the bill. Terrible person. Comment: My car was towed 9/14/22 to Hyundai of Garden Grove due to overheating from a hose rupture. It cost $230 for diagnostic which meant visually noticing that there is a tear in the hose. This is an unreasonable cost to diagnose something simple. In the end it cost $1,625 to replace 2 large radiator hoses, 2 small hoses near the firewall and 1 sensor. All the hoses were held in place by clamps and sensor (plug and screw on the ends). These were simple to replace but it took them 7.2 hours and over 5 days to do it. I wonder how they make money if it takes a mechanic 7.2 hours to replace such trivial parts. Now I know - they rip you off by padding the hours. On top of that when I received the old parts back, I noticed that 3 of the hoses were still in good condition. So here is another way they rip you off - replace parts that are still usable. Just because I refused other recommended services they held my car hostage until 9/20/22 when the service advisor called me at home after 7PM which was a little late to pick up my car. He had promised to call at 2PM. Throughout the whole time my car was there I had to call to check on the status, Not once did they call me to keep me updated. The service advisor aka con artist is Mark Sanchez.Hyundai of Garden Grove is a terrible place to take your car for service. They have shown me poor customer service, that they are untrustworthy con artists and unreliable service.In the end: Parts = $412 / Labor = $1,625 / Days in shop = 6 daysBEWARE !!!By the way YOU DONT DESERVE THE 1 STAR THAT IS SHOWN.

Comment: Wont honor advertised prices! bait and switch. I found a F-150 I was willing to buy it at the advertised price. I was settling for this 2020 truck because it was advertised at a price I though was fair, since it smelled of smoke and had minor road rash on the rear bumper and in a few areas around the truck. I figured that was why the price was about a grand lower than the other couple on the lot with the same year and close to the same mileage. As soon as I said lets get the deal done the excuses started. I was told they had five add-ons that were not part of that sales price, which increased my cost by almost $7500. I told them right up front I will not pay a dollar more than advertise price with the equipment shown in the add. A number of childish games stated at a price almost $8K over the amount listed online. They told me that is how the draw traffic but no one honors that price, which I told them was false. I told them to provide me a path remove the extra nonsense and provide me an option to just pay that advertised sales price. They refused to do that and allowed me to walk. Be careful, the people I dealt with are simply not honest.

It has 203. I was told my trim came with the digital phone key, upon taking the car home, I called my sales rep and he said that wasn’t offered with my trim. But when I asked him like three times if I could do it during the sale, I was ensured with a big smile it did. I asked him if the “optional charges” for after market things, like the gps, special paint and another thing could be removed. I was told to wait, dude walked behind the wall and instantly walked back and said they’d be unable to sell me the car without them. Due to the other lies, I find this hard to believe and assume he just stood behind the wall for a couple of seconds and then immediately came back.I liked the salesman, all the other salesman around me, his manager, and even the guy who I signed with. But it’s extremely disappointing when I’m being lied too to create a sale, maybe he was misinformed but looking bad it didn’t seem that way, when I would have paid more for the convenience package (which I wasn’t aware even existed till I got home and saw it on their website when I was trying to figure out why I couldn’t wireless charge my phone which the salesman told me I could during the “test drive”)My final issue is this, I came here to speak with Jennifer about placing a reservation for the Kona SEL, Jennifer wasn’t there and the person who sat me down PUSHED THE LIMITED DOWN MY THROAT LIKE NO OTHER. I told him to show me one since he had one “on site”, which I waited an hour and a half for. The wrong car was brought, and that was the Kona SEL, the one he claimed that didn’t have. This branch was so busy that they were calling in additional finance people to help with the sales and processing of all the car sales they were generating this 1st of a 3 day holiday weekend. The sale price was attractive, and I called to let the sales manager know that I work for a non-profit and was in need of a 15 passenger van, and that the price was right in our budget. He told me to come in and test drive it and we could go from there. I drove 3 hours to see the van, and after driving it, was ready to purchase it. I was shocked when the salesman showed me an out the price that was $7000 more than the advertised price. When I showed him the ad from Auto Trader, he told me that the dealer website showed that there was markups. That may be true, but no where was it listed in the Auto Trader or Car Guru ads. To say that I was extremely disturbed, is a massive understatement. I drove 6 hours round trip, and used $80 in gas to leave with nothing, because the dealership is using a method of getting more money that is frankly, very unethical! Beware!!!

Comment: I received a notification on my Hyundai that it was due for service and used Hyundais Bluelink service app to schedule an appontment. Bluelink offered the entire service for $199. Upon arrival at the dealership, I was informed that my vehicles was due for several things, totaling $698. I removed several minor service options and was quoted $598. Upon my return home, I reviewed Hyundais recommended service based on mileage and age of vehicle and learned none of the services the dealership recommended were recommended by Hyundai. I promptly called the service department (within 45 minutes of checking in my vehicle) and was told they had already completed the service. I didnt think it was feasible for them to perform the number of services they listed within the 45 minute timeframe so I asked to speak with the service manager. I was put on hold for 25 minutes, hung up and called back and was told the service manager wasnt in. In desperation, I contacted my husband who has inside contacts at the dealership on the management side and he was referred to a different person in the service department who informed him that the vehicle HAD NOT been serviced. Feeling scammed we asked them to cancel service and I picked up my vehicle. They lied about the service needed, lied about the service being completed when it had not and had horrible customer service in the interim. DO NOT GO HERE. I am sourcing another Hyundai dealership.Reading the horrible reviews makes me think they must employ someone full time to respond to the 1-star reviews. Russell Westbrook -- dont bother responding to this review. Youve lost credibility and its clear others believe they are being scammed too. Instead, revamp your ethics policy.

Comment: My wife and I just bought a vehicle from here yesterday. Our salesperson was Ameer M. I called prior to making the 90 minute drive to the dealership to verify that they had the car we wanted. Upon arriving, we were greeted and explained what we wanted. We had no need to test drive since we already had done so before. Ameer was very patient with us and explained and answered any questions we had. We were in and out with a new car in less then three hours. The only reason that I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is only due to the fact that all of the sales persons are stuck at little desks with no privacy due to the dealers ongoing remodel. So not really any fault of the sales department. Over all one of the better car bying experiences we have had.

Comment: The most awful car buying experience I have ever had. They strung us along for weeks and when we were ready to go through with the offer, they decided that morning that they had magically sold the car AFTER the closing hours. We then had another family member call and inquire about the same car to which they said it was still available. (On the website it still said this car was available as well) When we called the dealership back to inquire about the dishonesty we were transferred to a mansplaining misogynistic manager who continually told us to calm down.Long story short, will never ever contact this dealership again. Truly awful.

Comment: On December 30, 2021, a raining day, I came on time to my car service appointment at 8:30AM for only an engine oil change. The advisor, Chirstian Estrada, told me that the car (2020 Sonata) had 3 year maintenance contract; therefore, he would order engine oil change, wheel balancing and rotation at complementary cost. I declined the wheel balancing and rotation jobs. I told the advisor that I already had the tires rotated. I went to the lounge and waited.Two hours and a half went by, around 11:00AM, I came to the service counter and complained that I had appointment for just an oil change; After two hours and a half I was still waiting for just an oil change service. The service advisor challenged my punctuation by saying the paperwork timestamp was 8:40AM. This was an unacceptable customer service because he printed and finished his paperwork at 8:40AM. It was irrelevant of my well punctuation or why an oil change took more than two hours and a half.I respected the dealership by coming on time on the appointment. The service manager, David Sanchez, showed up and joined the conversation. I repeated that I came on time for a car engine oil change and two hours and half I was still waiting in the lounge. I had my day planned and had other schedules. An engine oil change job procedure should have had a reasonable length of time to perform the task. Two hours and a half plus was unreasonable.The service manager responded that the appointment was to guarantee that I was seen not guarantee that the oil change will be done soon enough. He continued, If I didnt have an appointment I would have been denied the service. This, again, was an unacceptable customer service.The service manager asked where I purchased the car. My response was at Russell Westbrook Hyundai of Anaheim. The service manager challenged me that why I didnt bring my car to Anaheim to get the oil change. My response was that I wanted to bring business to Garden Grove. He didnt have anything to counter my response. Again, this was an unacceptable behavior.It was a very poor customer service. I demanded to have my car back. In a minute, my car was magically pulled out. I drove off the dealer. At home I discovered and realized that the technician actually rotated the wheels which indicated in the paperwork. I was so upset. I already denied the wheel balancing and rotation because I just had my wheels rotated a week ago.In the afternoon on of the same day, I drove back 5 miles to the dealership. I was greeted by a female advisor. I told her the situation that I waited for more than 2 hours and a half on that morning for an oil change. I specifically declined the wheel rotation but the job was still performed without my authorization. I requested to rotate the wheels back.The advisor told me to go home and make an appointment. This is very poor services. I could not believe what was happening. I waited for two hours and a half for an oil change which made me missed one of my morning appointments. With this gasoline price in the market, in the raining day, I made an effort to drive back to the dealer so that the service department have a change to correct the job. The service advisor wanted to send me home and told me to make an appointment to come back so they can fix their mistake????

Comment: I usually dont leave reviews, but I had such a great experience at The Russell Westbrook Hyundai of Garden Grove, I just had to leave one. I had been car hunting for about a month, and it was not an easy or enjoyable process since the market is so horrible right now. Thankfully, Angel (my car salesman) went above and beyond to not only help me find something within my budget, but also made sure it was something I loved. Angel not only reached out to me on his days off and sent me links to cars they had coming in, he even paid attention to things that were important to me. I wasnt just a sale, I was customer he took seriously and wanted to provide a great experience to, especially since this purchase was my first car ever. He worked with Hani to get me a really great and fair deal and would totally go back to the both of them for any car purchases I will make in the future. Ive had my car for almost a week now and Angel even called me back just to check in to see how I was liking it. Definitely five stars in my book!

Comment: Had to take my car in for its manufactured maintenance requirement and and they couldnt have made it any easier. I booked the appointment online. When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly lady called Nora. She even remembered me from a couple years ago. I felt compelled to write this because of how lovely Nora was. She is very knowledgeable and made everything very clear as to what is mandatory for the warranty and what is extra but she didnt try to force extras on me. They even did a complementary car wash. It only took a couple hours to complete and they paid for me to get an Lyft home and back to the dealership ( I think they will pay up to 3 miles). I hope Noras managers see this and acknowledges how great she is. Im still impressed she remembered me from two years ago, now thats great customer service. Will definitely be coming back here for my Hyundai service needs.

Comment: Sales men are so patient and willing to show you everything, and help you decide which car would be best for you.Place is okay, clean and neat, but they dont provide coffee. Restroom is quite small with respect to the place and number of people.I would give this place 5 stars if the prices are suitable for me, they went too far with their mark-up which added a lot to my payment (20% more to the MSRP!).I would recommend it to anyone, but in other time when prices go down.

Comment: If you’re planning to get from this Russell Westbrook Hyundai Garden Grove dealership, stop and read this review!!!I got the car (2017 Hybrid Ford Fusion) on August 15, 2020. The car had a check engine light 12 days after! I was in the middle of I-22 when the scary red triangular warning “Stop Safely Now” appeared and the speed dropped to 40 miles per hour. In the middle of the freeway! Took the car back to them, all they said is “it happens, the car is a used one” and they advised us to take the car to Ford since it is still covered by a warranty. I got the car back one week after (September 3) and drove it again. But then it broke down again 8 days after!! The same warning came out but this time it was so much scarier – on the I-5; it happened at 10:30 pm and I was 50 miles away from home! Cops came to protect me from a possible sideswipe as I was on the breakdown lane, placed reflectorized triangles and stayed with me until Triple A arrived to tow the car and my boyfriend came to pick me up. The day after, I tried to communicate this to Hyundai Garden Grove, and all I heard from Sales Manager Robert (they won’t give me the last name) was “well, you bought the car as is.” I HAVE NOT EVEN MADE MY FIRST PAYMENT YET. He said he was not even apologetic. Yes, I was a bit emotional (I was crying, all things considered), but if I heard the word sorry I might have been pacified.I talked to a Consumer Rights Law Firm and they said we can file a case. It could be a long, strenuous one, but we can. I just need to get the name of the person I talked to. I called again, talked to a Javier and he would not give me Robert’s last name, and just calmly told me to let my lawyer talk to theirs. That was when I figured that these guys are so used to a lawsuit. I checked their reviews and saw that they do have hundreds of bad reviews.Even the sales process was horrendously stressful with these people. After we looked at the car the first time and gave them our offer, they texted us to come back because they agreed to the amount. When we got there, they tried all kinds of schemes to get you to pay more…up until the signing of the contract (which happened almost 4 hours after we arrived), they continuously attempted to put all kinds of add-ons.I do understand the process, though, because I guess that is part of car sales training – do everything you can to squeeze more from your customer. I can understand that. But to sell a car that would break down within days of the actual sale and not be sympathetic to your customer’s cause is INEXCUSABLE, INHUMAN, IMMORAL and a downright insult to U.S. BUSINESS ETHICS, HYUNDAI business ethics, HYUNDAI MOTOR FINANCE business ethics, RUSSELL WESTBROOK business ethics.So please do not even think about dealing with these people.

Comment: Rip off, and scam. Came to get a 2018 wrangler jk. Was advertised for 24k. I asked for the stock number to match what Im looking for and the lady on the phone confirmed that. When I got in I was showed the car with the exact stock number. A few minutes the guy who brought the car said, oh it might be a different one. I asked if they have the same color, And they said no. The price they have it on the car is 24k, and they have options on it, saying it is lifted. They wanted $38000. I asked them it only has big wheels and there is no lifting kit, well, we can talk details. I left and will never go back and will never recommend them to any one.

Comment: This place is so shady. We found a car listed on their website for 12,500. One of the best deals we found. We drove all the way from the San Fernando Valley. We got there and they said oh the car isn’t 12,500, it’s 14,500 because we add accessories to the car, without the option to remove them.The sales guy kept talking about how it’s an 8,000 dollar discount, which it actually wasn’t. It was really only 6,000 which was still a decent deal but not what was promised and listed on their website.When we were there, people kept leaving and walking out angry.We called Russell Westbrook of Anaheim and they told us they could sell us the same car on their lot of the price of 12,500. We left garden grove and went there instead.As we were talking to the Anaheim location, the manager came out screaming at us about how they can’t sell that car to us. And so on. We left so unhappy, but we got a much better deal on the same car at the Anaheim location.

I was told by my salesperson and floor manager that they would offer a one time complimentary gas refill on each car. I came back for a recall on my Palisade and requested my free refill. I got the run around from the manager Mike. He was asking if I have proof or if I got that in writing. No Mike I didn’t. I didn’t think that I would need PROOF.Mike ended up agreeing to give me a refill yesterday. Now that I came to pick up my vehicle he tells me that the offer was only good for yesterday. I said “wow really, all this trouble for $40 worth of gas. I was planning on coming back to purchase another vehicle when my lease is up, but now I most definitely won’t. Comment: Finally, my long car buying journey is over with Russell Westbrook Hyundai of Garden Grove. I have been to many car dealers and realized many car sales person is not fit to actually sell the car. All they care about is sale when they dont even have professionalism of prepping the car for test drive before my appointment time or even prepping the car properly before selling it as certified car. They always pressure you to buy the car when the car isnt even working properly and should have failed the certification. I heard so many times that the car is under warranty so I should just buy a broken certified car!That wasnt the experience with Hyundai of Garden Grove, or at least not with John Zarghami. He was very courteous and almost no pressure to buy the car. He is bit older than most of sales person I was faced with, but he felt like one of those neighborhood uncle who takes care of you in your need.He went through 5 different testdrive cars without a frown. As I was buying a used car and they had multiple car with same model, same price, with bit of different miles. It was my first car and I wanted to pick out the best one from what was available. Overall, he and I spent 3 hours trying checking and picking out the best one, he didnt rush me to choose any one of them, even though they were mostly about the same. In similar situations, most of sales person start injecting their idea like blah blah car you tried would be best for you and just go with it.Luckily for me, Hyundai of Garden Grove didnt have any concerning issues with any one of their certified vehicle I test drove. They were all on their working condition as it should be certified vehicle. I ended up choosing the one that was practically new with just 1100 miles with $7000 off the MSRP due to it being a 2019 year vehicle with 3 month of being their service loaner. It even still had those new car smell to it.

Comment: So I made an appointment for a service maintenance for 8:30 am on a Saturday morning. I was one of the first cars to arrive. They told me it would take 1 to 1.5 hours. Okay cool. I got a lyft ride home and then got dropped back off when it got closer to 1.5 hours. Its now 12:00 pm. 3.5 hours! I have my receipt but theyre charging me for the tire rotation which should have been included in the maintence fee. Luckily the guy is going back and updating the invoice..Overall, it shouldnt take this long for a scheduled maintence check and replacement of cabin air filters and engine air filters... 😥

Comment: Was in contact with dealership via phone and text. Confirmed w salesperson out the door cost. Accessories were made known and was assured by salesperson that they would not add to the vehicle cost which was confirmed via text message. It was made clear that I would be travelling 2.5hrs to the dealership and to expect no surprises. This was a Saturday. In the dealership, sales manager is brought over and states that the price that was confirmed by the salesperson did not include the accessories. During discussion, this sales manager acted very odd. When presenting me with papers to look at with his scribbles, he kept both his hands on it attempting to prevent me from showing it to a buddy of mine who was with me. This happened multiple times. I would move it towards my buddy, sales manager tightened his grip and would try to move it back. At the end of it, I maintained that the price verified with the salesperson should be honored. Sales manager refused, so we left the dealership. This sales manager needs some interpersonal communication training and formal counseling on scrupulous business practices. Also, the salespeople should not/cannot confirm any prices since apparently they hold no power. Overall, wasted an entire day. Avoid this dealership.

Comment: I was looking specifically for a 2019 Hyundai Elantra SE for my first car. My dad really helped me look for a good deal and he found one here through the fleet manager Sam Shin.My dad took care of most of the negotiations for me over the phone but within a few days, I was able to easily text and email Sam to give him the information he needed in order to have all my paperwork ready by today. He would always promptly reply to me so I never had to wait more than a few minutes to hear from him.Today, I pretty much just showed up so he could show me the car and its functions and sign all the paperwork I needed. He was able to swiftly and effectively explain to me what I was signing. All I needed to do was hand over the check for my down payment and I was pretty much out the door with my new car within half an hour! That time is already really impressive but I only decided to get a car this past Monday and now it’s Saturday and I have a car!Sam really went above and beyond to make this experience super easy and convenient! I’m glad I was able to purchase a car through him because it made the experience so much less daunting than what I’ve heard from others. I’m glad we chose this location for my first car!

The sale associate, the sale manager and also the finance guy were all promised to submit the promo paperwork to Hyundai for my $50 test drive credit. It never happened. Called the dealer a few weeks later to follow up and was told theyll call me back but never did. Its not a big deal but it shows they dont really care about their customers after the initial purchase. I dont trust them with maintenance and when its time for me to pickup a Palisade, for sure not at this location.

Comment: I have always gone to this dealership and I have always gone great and service. But recently when I went I asked for an oil change and for my radiator to be flushed out. Can I get a call and she tells me that the mechanic said I need to change my oil which I had already asked to have done. Then she proceeded to tell me that I need new belts on my car. I just recently purchased new belts on my car at 60000 miles and I only have 85000 miles on my car now.Wasnt very happy with the results and when they asked me to do a review well the service person was very nice but somewhere down the line it didnt show where I had asked for an oil change otherwise why would the mechanic be saying that I needed to get an oil change. Oh and also they told me that I needed an air filter. I needed.Well I got sick and I forgot to purchase an air filter. I know exactly where to put it.What they didnt tell me was that that little thing thats under the car that runs from bumper to bumper it keeps rocks from jumping up into your engine or into your radiator that that has broken off and I was not aware of that otherwise I would have asked them to replace it. so right now Im not too happy with them and Ive been with them for over 10 years.

Thier GM, I think, passed out complimentary Hyundai Pen and Keychain sets to customers waiting in the lounge, that was nice. I asked for an extra one because If I showed it to my wife she would want it, had to ask for an extra one for plan B, (I wanted one too) :). He was happy to give me an extra. Ive purchased 3 cars from them. No pressure looking only help IF needed.

Comment: Since I bought my car, my maintenance light has continually been coming on and on again. It has been less than 2 years. It seems to never get fixed.I came in to get my service maintenance light fixed today again. It is a different issue than before. Turns out that they are missing the part and so that I would have to come back again once the part has been ordered and shipped to their location so that requires another 2 hours of waiting at a dealership. I can understand that I guess. What I cannot understand is that when I got back home there was a dent on my car caused from someone at the dealership. One of the workers even had the audacity to ask for a 5 star review after denting my car and NOT telling me about it. I talked to the manager of the dealership one the phone and he asked me to come in to get this resolved. Usually it is impossible to prove this but the service advisor actually took pictures of my car BEFORE service with his Ipad. Hopefully those pictures dont magically disappear. I dont know if it was the service advisor or the mechanic but someone from here definitely dented my car and I will update this review after I have spoken to management and have this issue hopefully resolved.I will never buy a car from this dealership again and I advice all others as well.

Comment: Jay has been the guy i go to for service. but just this last time I went in for my light and the work was shoty ...ended up messing up my bumper witch i wouldnt mind but tell me dont lie to my face...so I take it to my insurance where i just had it fixed from an accident and saw pics and Im pissed off even more my guy says they ducked up even more things... Jayes a lier and nothing has been done for me yet they keep beating around the bush....so for now 1 star and people please PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO OVER THE WORK YOU HAVE DONE HERE BEFOR YOU LEAVE AND LOOK OVER YOUR CAR BEFORE YOU TAKE IT IN..and went in again today 2/5/2018 and Craig was very disrespectful to me after showing him proof from Huntington Beach Hyundai he still did not want to take care of me so after requesting to speak to his manager only then did he offer to take care of me Im still not happy and I spoke with the big boss today so Ill update later

Comment: If I could give this dealership a lower rating, I would. My husband and I leased a car from this dealership several years ago, and since then, it has been nothing short of a nightmare. We have been lied to on multiple occasions, taken advantage of, and received some of the worst customer service imaginable.If you do end up coming here for some reason, talk to James. He is the ONLY employee that was helpful and did not lie to us. AVOID AT ALL COSTS KEVIN - he is one of the managers at this dealership. He lied directly to us on multiple occasions, and treated us very poorly.Overall, it was very difficult getting anything done. We kept being referred to different people, and nobody that worked there communicated about what was happening. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO THIS DEALERSHIP.We switched our car to a Nissan, and it has been a night and day difference. Some of the best service we have ever received, a great, reliable car, and a great deal. I would highly recommend Nissan as both a company and a vehicle.

Comment: Purchased a used Genesis here. Ok, originally I test drove a couple Genesis sedans with one sales person. I was not impressed with him. Around a week later I wanted to test drive the cars again with my wife. Now I am pretty sure if I settled for the original sales guy, I would have had a dismal experience. However, this time I requested a different sales guy for that reason. The dealership was cool with this and didnt seem to care about moving the sale from one guy to another. Our new sales guy was great. We didnt give him much breathing room as car sales guys are not to be trusted no matter how friendly they are. Having said that, he worked with us very well. Pleasant experience.The rear of the used car had some nasty scratches, the dealership had the entire rear bumper and some of the rear trunk hood repainted. Thanks!
