I live close to this speedway and every time I go there after work the employees are lazy. After the manager leaves the floors dont get cleaned and its like play time. Its fn horrible
The younger blonde employee at the register was very inattentive, and very rude. No customer service skills at all. After she rang up my order, I got out my cash and was holding it in my hand over the counter for over 10 seconds. She was too busy complaining to a co worker about how she noticed dirt on her arm. After finishing paying, I said have a good one. She never spoke a word to me as a customer.Most Speedway stations are very dirty these days, and this one is no exception. This location has very few parking spots, and is located on a very busy intersection. I visited on 7-29-19 at appx 2 p.m.
I will not get gas at this gas station any longer. This may sound petty to some people but every single time I pay at the pump it never prints out the receipt and I have to go in to get it. Then I have to wait in the line that takes four or five minutes which is why I paid at the pump in the first place to avoid the wait in line. I hate gas stations like this that are so damn cheap they cannot put receipt paper in their pumps; or they’re too damn lazy to change the paper when it’s needed or fix the problem if it doesn’t print. Every single freaking time it does not print. This gas station is convenient because of where I live but I will never stop here again. I am completely annoyed.
Just revising this to say that for the last 6 months or so, they have not been the first to raise their gas prices. In fact they are sometimes one of the last to raise prices.From 2017: Good service and cleanliness, but its the first place to raise prices and the last to bring them down.
I always stop here on my way to work whether its water or coffee or just a little snack. They are always kind always helpful and it seems as though they are there for their customers more than for the paycheck. Also coming from Orlando Speedway tends to have the lowest prices in town on gas which is always helpful if you want to save up a little change to get a hot piece of pizza that you probably shouldnt eat.
This location has really gone downhill.
Employees smoking 8 feet from door. I asked why they are smoking so close to dorr and they say that is what they are told to do so they can see inside the store if theyre needed. Pretty sure theres some kind of state law about being a 25 feet away from a door with a cigarette. I dont know about anybody else but I dont want to walk through a cloud of smoke to go into your establishment.
Decent gas prices. Lots of food and drinks to choose from. Store is mostly clean for as busy as it usually is. Bathroom is nice. Employees have always been friendly
At risk customers, stay away from this location! They do not enforce masks in their store. I had to ask someone without one, to back up because they were right on top of me and Im at risk, no employee backed me up :(
Items are out of place from where they are suppose to be. Bought a .99 juice that was under the price tag of .99, and typically costs .99 everywhere I go. They charged me $3.19 for the .99 item and would not refund the money. Terrible service and highly inconvenient.

2022-02-27Love it, and love the faces. Dont get upset if you get carded as a regular. I love next door and I dont fuss - its protocol. Always yummy warm food option if needed and always stocked with my favorite drinks. No complaints!

2022-07-13It’s not exactly their fault, but this Speedway is IMPOSSIBLE to get in and out of. That intersection is the worst in Kent county and the gas station is part of it.

2022-02-11Grew up going to this gas station, while there are a few solid managers they only can work so many days, they are always short staffed and I get that but that’s no excuse to hire people who will yell and cuss at customers because they want to talk with their girlfriend in the store at 10pm instead of properly ringing out customers. Just don’t go to this one after 7pm the good people get off then

2021-06-09I went in there on my lunch hour and didnt have much time and needed a different speedway card. With that bein said Kelly Thomas is the friendliest most helpful worker Ive ever dealt with ! Because of her 44th & byron center is my new favorite gas station !

2021-11-16I was walking home from work it was cold outside so I stopped in to warm up and grab a snack or 2 was inside maybe 4 minutes and the guy at the counter asked me if he could help me find anything and then said that I cant browse because he had work to do this was at 12:50am 11/16/21 I go in everytime I close and this is the first time Ive ever had a problem

2018-04-07This gas station is in a very convenient location. The staff and people inside are always friendly and helpful. I usually stop in on my way to work or home and get gas, snacks or fountain drinks. The reason I rated at three stars, is that it seems like no matter which pump I use their credit card machines never print out receipts. I had the same issue happened in the middle of winter. The clerk inside said its probably because the tape machine is cold or frozen. Now being spring I got the same issue going on. Doesnt make it very convenient when you need to keep track of receipts for expenses. Please fix the credit card machines, so that I could change my review to five stars. Have a great day!
