Comment: Gibbs Oxnard has been an amazing resource for me as a business owner. Fair pricing. Super helpful. Super friendly. Always looking for ways to help rather than some other truck centers I’ve been to that seem to just want to charge a lot of money. I feel like Gibbs has my and my fleets best interest. The quick Lube side has always been fast with fixes, transparent on pricing, and helpful in pointing out any maintenance concerns and finding me the best solution. Best of all they are very easy to work with and get a hold of. Thank you Gibbs!

Comment: Parts desk people aren’t the most knowledgeable. They struggle to identify correct parts and are unwilling to help place orders for non stock items, and don’t know how to verify before ordering. They often order the wrong part and then don’t hold themselves accountable.

Comment: Great place for service. Service department is very knowledgeable and actually seem to care about your truck (a rarity these days). They understand that it is what you need to earn a living and has always bent over backwards to try to take care of me and get me back on the road ASAP. Also, on a side note, it is one of the few places I have gone to have work done and didnt need to wipe greasy fingerprints off my steering wheel/ door panel and can get back in and the radio isnt cranked up on a different station, so his employees seem to respect your investment as well. Thanks guys for another job well done.

Comment: Wouldn’t recommend buying a new rig. Theirs a one year waiting list for a day cab. Bought a 2023 VIN in February 2022. Might go into production in January 2023. Order your unit One year before you need it. Units with sleeper: current waiting list is 1.5-2 years.

Comment: I had an issue with my vehicle, brought it to Gibbs, and this company has been great to deal with. Very responsive, very patient, and overall quite polite. If you have an international brand engine in your truck and need a service center in Oxnard, you cant go wrong with these guys. They even have agreements with local tow companies so you can get your vehicle dropped off after hours, which is not something that all repair shops offer.

Comment: The day before Thanksgiving and my engine wouldn’t stop running when the ignition was turned off and key removed. Called up Gibbs and they said to bring it over. The Techs came out and showed me how to get the engine to stop and also how to re-engage the faulty ignition solenoid in order to get me through my trip and back home to our local garage. I can’t speak more highly of the help these folks provided in a pinch and at no cost.

Comment: Made a deal to do a last minute clean of over 100 windows, he showed me the invoice of his usual window cleaner, I wouldnt have touched the job even with weeks notice for that price. I charge $12.00 per window, and he knew that. I also had to pull some workers off a job and to get the owner to agree had to give a $500.00 discount. It was a McMansion.So yes I thought $3,500.00 was reasonable and he was given that price, well when it was time to be paid he shows me that old invoice, he should have hired them, not me but they hired me.Well I ended up with 1,500.00 A $125.00 loss I knew I should have gone out and got a contract signed my bad. 99% of people verbal a handshake is good, then once and a while I get this.BTW Gustavo never made a call and is still working for me as he has been these past 7 years

Comment: After reaching out too 6 different diesel mechanics in the Santa Barbara a Ventura a Oxnard area. I chose Gibbs to do a DOT inspection and service my 24 foot fraightliner that I just purchased. After dealing with Penske not keeping their end of the bargain it was hard for me to put trust in another company with my truck.Luckily I went to the right people Adolfo what is the servicemember coordinating everything and staying in touch with me. ! Not only did Gibbs get me in as soon as possible they were tentative and understanding to my needs concerns concerns they went out of their way to make sure I will get my truck back on the road for work the manager stayed 45 minutes late to hand me my keys!I’m a businessman so I really have any free time especially to write reviews. But I always give credit when it’s due especially when receiving high-quality service! I would highly recommend this company don’t even think twice!!

Comment: This company is a FRAUD.After a oil change there we got some issue with the truck so we took back our truck there and they said we need to spend $8,000 to replace the engine parts.We said no and took it another shop and they said they purposely opened some part of the engine and the contaminated the fuel to cause this issue, and with $400 they fixed the truck.This company is biggest rubbers. Not sure how to take them to court for this.

These people are not mechanics.They have diagnosed my truck three times those three parts have not fixed the issue. Now they diagnosed With a bad transmission at this point I cannot trust them all they do is throw parts then hit you with a expensive invoice as they hit me with a 12,600 invoice.Beware people do not take your truck to international of Oxnard because all they do is throw parts and guess at the issues.
