I absolutely love coming here. They have great quality products and excellent customer service. They support local businesses and fair trade products. Also, if youre a Chai Tea lover you HAVE to try their house blend Chai. Its absolutely delicious whether you order it Hot or Iced.
Global Infusion is a lovely little shop that embodies Eastown - its eclectic, well traveled, and diverse. They have a wide variety of goods offered including spices, loose leaf tea, coffee (both beans and ready to order beverages), jewelry, candles, and many other globally centric gifts and goodies. The spices alone are worth the trip - Im an avid cook and they offer the freshest and widest variety of spices in the area. The staff is always cajoling and helpful, to boot. A true gem in Grand Rapids!
Theres so much to love here! I had forgotten just how many herbs and spices they have to offer in bulk! You can email your order ahead of time to pick up. They make the BEST chia tea ever and have a full tea and coffee bar, plus bulk tea to go. Warm and wonderful staff, always!
A charming little place with a huge selection of interesting teas at not-ludicrous prices like a few tea places Ive visited. very friendly service, too. the person who served us clearly loves the place and what they do. Id come back frequently if I didnt live abroad but I suppose bring from England gives my positive review of a tea shop more weight, right? rrrright?
Global Infusion is an excellent place to get herbs & spices, as well as teas! The prices are far better than anywhere else you will go to get wholesome spices and teas. Better yet, the staff is friendly and always willing to answer any questions you have. Highly recommend!
Love Global Infusion - if I lived right here I would stop by more often! Great selection of teas and spices and other items. They sell drinks made to order, I believe. They also carry Rise donuts (GF and vegan) which are such a treat. The employees are kind and lovely, helpful people. There is a great energy here!!
If you are interested in a tea shop with a large selection of loose leaf teas, look no more. I enjoyed an unexpected, yet amazingly delightful cinnamon pecan rooibos tea with a vegan donut. They also sell there bamboo utensils, which are rare to find. I highly recommend walking through the selections and allowing your sense of smell to pick the experience for you.
This place is a mix of cafe/bulk goods/ten thousand villages. If you need a pick me up, a gift and some loose high quality spices, this is for sure your one stop shop. The staff is supremely friendly and it is a lovely place to just sit and relax or study with a cuppa.
Such a wide variety of organic teas, spices, chocolate, and unique gifts from local and global artisans. The staff is always super knowledgeable and helpful. The atmosphere is incredibly calming. I cant say enough good things about Global Infusion. Highly, highly recommended.
They have walls of loose leaf teas to buy to brew on the spot or purchase by the ounce. They also have an assortment of cold beverages and chocolates for purchase. Staff are very helpful snd friendly. Definitely recommend. In the summer there is a little bit of outdoor seating to enjoy.
Global Infusion has been a godsend. They have excellent loose leaf teas and spices. Its honestly the only one Ive found in the whole state with good loose leaf teas. You can also sit in and have them make you tea, which is quite tasty. Theres just something wholesome about selecting your own massive glass jar of loose leaf and measuring it out. You can also buy knick knacks and coffees theyve ethically sourced. Its basically just the gentlest atmosphere of any commercial place Ive ever been in.
Owner is sweet, friendly, genuine and down to earth. We had an instant connection. My mom and I loved meeting you and were impressed with you!I love the smell in here. It’s one place besides Reed’s Lake that I can go to relax, be in peace, and went out. The chai and mocha latte, and selection of herbal teas are great and soothe me. Please support local, and fair trade, come meet the friendly staff and owner. You will be delighted! Some bumps in the road: Sometimes it’s too busy and kids are noisy and crying which bothers me when I have a headache, I’m sensitive. I love kids though. It’s just not fulfilling when you came to your little safe haven with screams and cries when I’m there to relax and unwind. Seating space was an issue for me several times. My free chai last time wasn’t what I usually get, it tasted bland, so I was a little disappointed in the chai. Some seem to make it better than others. Other than that, I still come here whoever I get a chance on Saturdays.😊🌷
Love this store, even though my husband and I left Grand Rapids years ago we try to make yearly pilgrimages just to visit our favorite spots. Global infusion is one of the best. They have tea and spices by the oz or to be brewed there and enjoyed immediately. They have fun odds and ends there too like chocolate, jewelry, and paper products. Prices are totally affordable and their selection is mouth-watering. Highly recommend their cherry sencha or blueberry roobios.
Friendly, helpful staff, and a wide selection of teas, herbs, and spices. I love that I can bring reusable jars. Most recently I found a Berbere spice blend and Ive been using it in everything (soups, hummus, etc.) Ive enjoyed shopping here for years and drinking their teas!
I almost dont want to write this review because I want this place all to myself! I have never had a negative experience here. If youre looking for a chill place this it it! They have an amazing varieties of teas, spices, coffee and vegan treats! Im not even vegan but would definitely give a kidney for the vegan donuts 😭 the staff is so friendly! #veganfriendly #lgbtqiafriendly #eco-friendly #pocfriendly
Nice selection of black, green, white, oolong, & rooibos teas as well as tea flavored stuff and tea paraphernalia. They also carry pretty jewelry, some shoulder & tote type bags, incense, candles, wind chimes and various globally sourced odds & ends. There are tables to sit at and enjoy a beverage from their very friendly and super helpful staff. Im looking forward to going back for more of their yummy teas! Im savoring their Vanilla Bean Black Tea right now. Mmm!
Went in for the first time looking for detox teas, chamomile and something slightly different than your normal caffeinated tea for my husband for Valentines Day-staff was very helpful and pointed me in the right direction by guiding me through their loose leaf tea selections as well as making a few suggestions!
Amazing selection of loose leaf teas at prices so cheap ive yet to walk out of there without getting something new. Bulk herbs and organic hair and soap products too. They dont mind letting you sampe a bit of things and getting a kettle of tea (~3 dollars, unlimited rebrewing) and splitting it with a friend is the best way to spend your time waiting for a seat at Marie Catribs down the street. Global Infusions should be putting every Teavanna in a 30 mile radius out of buisness.

2022-05-03Best loose leaf tea in town! Ive tried many of their tea blends and herbal teas and enjoyed them all--recent faves are Spring Awakening and Flora Grey. They also have many quality bulk spices. You can bring your own tins/jars and they will fill them, which is a great sustainable option!

2022-02-11We absolutely LOVE coming here! I come for the house chai and stay for the bulk spices and tea- all higher quality than anywhere else at a better price. Theyre dog friendly also, and love when I bring my pup Percy in to visit. Its a great place to pick up unique, fair trade gifts you couldnt find in other stores. Try the Foggy Day house blend tea, and chat with the workers- they are wonderful folks.

2021-12-14I had my first visit here today, and it is definitely the first of many! As soon as I walked in I couldn’t stop thinking how cute everything was and I was quickly helped at the tea counter. The woman who helped me pick out my tea was so kind and friendly, I wish I had caught her name. I also got a latte on my way out and it was very tasty. I’m so glad I decided to buy Holiday presents here, I will be back for more tea soon!

2019-11-29Really cute coffee/Fair Trade shop with a ton of different loose leaf teas, organic snacks, and cute, nifty items. I’ve gone a couple of times and have had really good service from the staff both times! It’s right next to two cute clothing shops as well, which is convenient. There’s quite a few tables to sit at inside, which is nice for if you want to just sit down and talk or relax. I love their coffee options. The price for the ground coffee isn’t horrible. A bag of ground coffee is usually $12.00. I like the brand I usually get there, so I just pay it anyways. Hoping to buy some loose leaf tea next time. (:
