Took a friend for dinner @ 5pm. We were charged $5 extra per meal because it was evening hours. This is the second time it has happened - last time it was due to weekend hours. We were very disappointed as the server wouldnt adjust the bill because this extra charge was not mentioned on the menu anywhere! :( The restaurant was dirty and had a foul odor. No air conditioning was apparent. We were thoroughly disappointed and sorry to say wont be back.
Probably doesnt deserve 1 star. This place has gone downhill. Used to be our favorite place to sit down and eat. Plenty of staff but dont know how to work. We were there for an hour and only got water after 20 minutes. Our waitress was nowhere to be seen. Looked like the place was being ran by a bunch of kids and most werent dressed appropriately. Glass wasnt clean. Ill bet this place closes very soon.
Completely disappointed in our experience. We came in on Thursday evening 12/17/20 to order to go. We placed our order with the front desk and waited over an hour for our food. We took our food home (which is over an hour away.) excited to eat. Once we opened all the boxes we found several discrepancies. We ordered1 order of meat mandu1 order of beef goki goki buns1 order of pork goki goki buns1 order of dukkbokieBoth orders of steamed buns came with veggies which we requested they leave out.. and although the dukkbokie was on our receipt we didn’t actually receive it. The “meat” mandu was all veggies..We also got an individual entree of short ribs which was the only correct part of our order. Aside from missing the salad, soup & Korean side dish which according to the menu it’s supposed to come with.We ordered a small beef combo (2-3 people) with no veggies and a fried rice rice with no veggies. Every box of beef had veggies mixed in.We did receive a box of chicken that we did not order..The fried rice also completely mixed with veggies..I called immediately to get a refund or at least a partial refund for the missing item. After spending $150+ with only part of our order correct we were frustrated. The front desk put us on hold multiple time after I explained the issue, after 20 min we finally were able to speak with a gentlemen (assuming the manager). We explained the issue again and were hung up on multiple times. They called us back and appeared to understand our frustrations and said they’d issue a refund. It’s been several days and we haven’t received a refund nor a response from the restaurant. With no other Korean bbq restaurants near by we were really looking forward to this treat for a birthday dinner. With COVID restrictions our only options was to take the food to go. We’d love to give this restaurant another try when we can eat at the restaurant and avoid any issues, however, this awful customer service experience has put an bad taste in our mouth.
Owner lacks professionalism, and is best friends with his staff because he loves the attention from the under age girls. I came for authentic KBQ not trying to view half naked girls. food is a hit and miss. majority of the time its a miss.Needless to say its not authentic kBQ
We attended the soft opening and the food was really great. The bulgogi had wonderful flavor and the sushi is fresh and delicious. The kimchi was yummy and bottomless. My son also said it was the best miso soup hes ever had. The service was a little slow, but thats to be expected during any soft opening. I think it will be 5 stars before too long.
The food was fantastic, the waiter was TERRIBLE! He never brought our appetizer but definitely tried to charge us for it. When ordering he asked if we wanted our food cooked in the back or if we wanted to cook it ourselves; we opted to have it cooked in the back, but he ignored us and had us do it anyways. It took over a half hour to get water refilled, even though he passed by the table five times and had been asked twice. IF we go back, we will definitely ask for a different server.
I absolutely love the BiBimBop here, really a nice presentation in comparison to other Korean restaurants that Ive been to in Michigan. Granted this is the only one in our area. Usually in the past I would go to Ann Arbor or Detroit for Korean food. Goki Goki is by far one of the more elegant Korean restaurants in Michigan. They also have a nice wine selection along with more traditional brews. Very nice place and hopefully they can establish enough of a clientele to stay in business for a long time.
I was impressed and will be back soon! Ive been waiting for this restaurant since they were building this place years ago. The food is delicious and fresh. I love the Kpop music they play softly in the background. They play awesome Korean shows on the screen. I died when I seen my hubby...bias Kim Namjoon on their TV💜. This is the perfect spot for someone like me who LOVES South Korean culture. I will say the items on the menu range from low $8 to over $100 if Im correct. However the expensive prices are for quality aged beef and Kobe beef. These are expected to be expensive. However there is something for everyone. I do wished they served banchan for all the meals for a more authentic feel. However, this is a more upscale Korean restaurant. The service was great. They offer sushi, Korean BBQ, and ramen. Plus they have a small convince store with yummy snacks and soju.
Bad experience with 2 hour wait for takeout- order ended up being wrong. called back and got a 25% off next order verbal coupon but for names of employees. went to order again, phone wasn’t working- went in place was empty and they wouldn’t apply couple because previous employees don’t work there anymore and the manager “wasn’t in”. sucks because the food is great, management and staffing is not good
Went to Goki Goki with my wife. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the friendly service. Everything is fresh. Theres also a market that you can browse through. There is dry aged beef as well as other things. Theres also and Hibachi To Go. I would highly recommend. Enjoy
Really good. We had the sweet potato noodles appetizer and it was awesome. The bowls we got cooked our meal more as we ate it. It stayed very hot. The only down side for me is some of the food burned a bit when I didnt stir enough in the beginning. Going to try the bbq combo next time and cook on the grill.
Amazing restaurant! The food was amazing - I got one of the lunch bento boxes and it was one of the best bento boxes Ive ever had in Michigan. There was a ton of food and it was all amazing - Sushi, beef, salad, etc - Id definitely order this again, it was wonderful! The staff was polite and friendly and was very prompt with service, refills, etc. I would definitely come here again, it was a perfect lunch location.
Terrible! The food was definitely not worth the price portion wise or taste wise. I am South Korean and that was by far the worst Korean BBQ restaurant I have been to. The food spices and taste didn’t taste authentic at all. It was very “Americanized.” Second our service was terrible. The waitress was annoyed when we asked for paper menus because we didn’t want to use the QR code ones. (We had a family member with us that was 74, so it was easier to have a hard copy menu than for him to try to read a phone.) Our waitress didn’t use common sense. Twice she passed hot steaming plates over my 7 month old baby (it was only 3 adults and my baby) when she easily could have walked to the other side rather than me waiting with bated breath she wouldn’t spill hot stuff on my baby. The waitress brought drink refills once to everyone but me and my glass of water was empty. When she brought our check she asked if I wanted more water I said yes and she didn’t bring it. We also asked about dessert and she said all we have is mocha, but we could also just buy it from the store next door. She was annoyed that we wanted dessert apparently. Not a pleasant experience at all. Will not be going back. If you want real Korean BBQ don’t expect to get it here.
This was my first time ever having Korean BBQ and it was amazing! I went for my 23rd birthday and it was just an amazing atmosphere. Our waitress was incredible but I sadly dont remember her name. She complemented me and my friends the moment she came to our table. Helped us with all our questions and even made sure we where grilling right. We will definitely be coming back! Was a bit pricey but we didnt care!!! The food was by far the best Ive had in such a long time! Zero complaints here!!! The music was the best too playing some of my favorite chill kpop songs❤❤❤
The bulgogi was amazing and authentic! Ive had 3 separate tours in Korea, so Ive had bulgogi a time ot two. The beef was so tender and marinated to perfection. The only reason that I didnt give 5 stars was because i think that they are still trying to find their feet since they just opened.Regardless, I WILL be eating here again!
Honestly brilliant and awesome. This place is honestly the best. The long wait for this place to open was well worth the patience. You have the option of doing Sushi or Ramen or you can do the more traditional Korean BBQ. Both are fantastic. The Sushi chef is one of the best around the whole area. Please note though Korean BBQ is where you cook the marinated beef/pork at your table. The servers are always welcome to explain and show you how to do it and how it works. The interior of this place is also magnificent. Gorgeous Sakura flowers very open atmosphere and although the front is a small almost grocery store it has a lot of Asian inspired groceries that you cant get at other stores.
A hidden gem in Fenton! Love finding delicious ethnic foods in my home town! The cook on the noodles (both japchae and udon) was perfect with a chewy texture. The seafood udon could be less salty and have less sauce but Ill just let them know thats our preference next time.BBQ is always fun and delicious too! I recommend the marinated beef combo for 2-3 and if you have more people, add some other dishes to try so you get a variety of food.
Honestly the food here is great but it’s super expensive. The customer service sucks. I had a call three times to ask what type of Ramen they were selling at their little store they have inside the restaurant and the lady that answered the phone just tell me there’s a variety when I specifically told her what brand I wanted and then procededed to tell me that she doesn’t know that she doesn’t know.
Update! We went to eat at their restaurant tonight. We had an amazing meal (Marinated beef korean BBQ combo)! We loved Mama Kim who helped us select what to eat as we hadn’t had Korean BBQ before!Food was amazing. Our waitress was great. However, my husband and I split *one* bottle of wine and towards the end she made multiple comments about how “much we drank.” Like when we thanked her at the end and told her we wrote her a Thank You note on her receipt she something along the lines of “I’m sure the bottle of wine helped (us to write the note)”.And when we told her we wanted a pair of the scissors they have to cut the meat with she told my husband “I’m not sure you and the scissors are a good idea now.”We have a sense of humor so if she had been joking we would have found her funny. However the multiple comments about our drinking (by the way, 1 bottle= 2 glasses for 2 people) made us feel uncomfortable. We were most definitely not drunk, obnoxious, or even buzzed. We were enjoying ourselves as it was our 1 month wedding anniversary.
UPDATE: We ordered to-go and though I asked for MILD ramen it was spicy, the shrimp tempura was overcookedWe normally adore Goki but this is so very disappointing. Our Pork buns were beef, they were good, but not at all what we ordered.Very clean and beautiful inside! Parker was very nice, welcoming, and knowledgeable!Everything we ordered was made perfectly and was absolutely delicious. I ordered Beef Bibimbap, it was affordable and delicious, so was the Udon soup that my daughter had! She was particularly fond of the tempura shrimp that was perfectly cooked! The Mochi was great, beautifully presented. The bathroom is gorgeous, although the toilet paper didnt fit on the dispenser, so working with that was a whole event because I didnt see that there were 2 rolls chilling on the back of the toilet. The market is small, and you can get half of the stuff at meijer or VGs (other than the aged meats, of course). Its cool, but I guess it looks bigger in the pictures. Still, theres some stuff Im excited to purchase and try!We will definitely return!
Me and my family used to go here frequently I would never send anything under $200 last time we went they refused us a room because the hostess said the manager just told her they dont except parties under 2 in there private rooms(in which they never denied me and wanted a private area to talk) I then asked to speak to the manager they then went to go get him and came back and said he wasnt there then I asked to speak with a assistant manager or someone running the place and they said there were not there either and there was no one I could speak to I
Took us 45 minutes to look through their 20 page menu. Food is all over the place in terms of quality, price, and even region of origin! There was one waitress serving everyone (this was pre-pandemic). Ive heard they treat their employees poorly and they dont want to pay them their checks, so Im not surprised there was no one waiting tables. Our food took an hour. Not worth the price. Even if it were cheap, I wouldnt go back. Just wasnt good food, and the experience was super chaotic.
The food is amazing. High quality, delicious, wonderful flavors. Quality service and just fantastic food. Highly recommend. Our tables favorite meals included any of the Dolsot dishes and the Korean BBQ. The hot bowls deliver perfectly crispy rice. Five stars plus!! Go, you will be delighted!
The food is very good and I can’t complain about that. My only problem is when we have a table of 10 and some of the people are on separate bills and ordering their own meals they combine all the meats together making it very difficult to figure how much a person gets and who’s is who’s! We have even asked the staff to please separate our meats since we all are on our own bill and they still will not do it! For the money we are spending it really shouldn’t be that difficult to separate our meats! I have been to a lot of other Korean bbq restaurants where they separate without a problem! The server even apologized and said he didn’t understand why they wouldn’t separate it! Makes it very upsetting because like I said we pay good money to eat here without hesitation but if they cannot do something so simple as that then I really don’t think we will return with a large party again!
Hands down, worst experience Ive ever had at any food establishment. Had to ask multiple times for things, only one side of our grill worked. Being charged for premium liquor because theres no button for the house liquor. Very subpar experience and I even had to ask twice to speak to a manager. They didnt seem to care that we were very unhappy. Being short staffed is no excuse for equipment not working properly and not being given the proper experience. Even seen the table next to us walk out without paying because they were given the same treatment. Finally was able to speak with a very nice server which told us our server was very new and helped him take a few things off our bill. She was very apologetic for our experience but it definitely was not how we wanted to spend our Sweetest Day.
Great food and atmosphere. A very nice market in the back with very fresh meats. Service was great too. I had the seafood pancake, japchae and korean fried chicken...all of which were fantastic. Food was very fresh and well prepared. Met the owner who was super nice. I highly recommend Goki Goki!
Sometimes slow, inexperienced servers and a long wait can ruin your dining experience. The food, ambiance and menu here is “pretty good,” but waiting an hour for your order can ruin a lot of “pretty good” qualities. Prices here are fairly high. Dipping sauce coming after the dish was pretty much gone, asking several times for kimchi after all the food had finally come, bi bim bap served with no sauce and then waiting till the bi bim bap was cold for the sauce to come. The server walked by several to other tables with the check or a glass of water in one hand when the other hand could have carried a second item for another table. Then the server would disappear for another extended period. It seriously just took too long to get served and when the food came it wasn’t hot like it had been sitting ready in the kitchen for a while. I saw one other patron get up and go back to the kitchen to complain about their wait. I could have come another day and gotten a server that was on the ball and hit a day when the kitchen was moving smoothly and this place could have gotten 5 stars, but we went on this day and spent 170 bucks for 5 people, left a 40 dollar tip and walked out feeling very disappointed.
Horrible experience. Called to order sushi, we were told they were not doing sushi take out. No big deal, we go to the restaurant. We came in to a hostess who, rather than greeting us, abruptly asked if we were using a grill or not. We informed her no, we just came in for sushi. We were told a 20 minute wait and finally were seated after 40 mins. We had time to know exactly what we wanted, so when our waitress approached we told her we were ready to order. When we ordered sushi, she told us it would be a 40 minute or MORE wait on all sushi. If we were told this information when we told the hostess what we came in for sushi, we would not have wasted 40 mins to be seated just to wait a minimum of another 40 mins for food, when their estimated waits had already been misleading. We decided to leave. The restaurant is clearly understaffed, there is a lack of communication, and the staff is not well trained. It is not a unique problem to have trouble with staffing, but this business needs to adapt as many others have, train and retain their staff, and treat their guests with much better service than we experienced.
Seriously, the sushi was amazing. Not only delicious, but beautifully presented. Which is impressive as I ordered takeout. I intend on frequenting this restaurant once restrictions are lifted. The interior of the restaurant is wonderful. Provided the service is on par with the food and presentation, this newest premium culinary spot will deserve 6 stars. Well see.
Two of us went on a Friday, around 2:30 p.m. It’s a nice, attractive restaurant. Business was very slow. Service was a little slow, but they appear to be understaffed like most places in September 2021. The Mandu (fried dumplings) were very good, as was the sauce. The Dolsot Bibimbap with pork was good. The seafood ramen was ok, but the broth seemed bland and the clams were very fishy. I’m not familiar with Korean food and would like to visit this restaurant again to try different dishes.
I was really looking forward to trying this place out since I love Korean food. Unfortunately my first experience was disheartening. There were only 2 other tables and the service was extremely slow. I think I’m a pretty patient person but it just seemed like we were an inconvenience. My friend was waiting on her glass of wine & the server came back 20 minutes later, told her they didn’t have it in stock, she ordered a different one, server came back 20 minutes later, told her they didn’t have the second one in stock either. My friend ended up not getting anything to drink because I’m sure it would’ve been there by time we were ready to leave. I’m giving the server the benefit of the doubt & assuming she’s new but it was still an unfortunate experience.I’m willing to try again, maybe it was an off night. Hopefully it will be a better experience than my initial one.
It took a while to be seated by a young lady who was not dressed at all for hosting. We ordered the large beef plater and sat at a double grill that would not stay plugged in. 10 times we needed to reach under the table! $100 for a plate of raw meat and vegetables we cook ourselves. Far to much trouble!
Called at 8:57 PM regarding a pick up order I wanted to place was told kitchen is closing in 30 minutes even though the Google listing states they are open till 10 PM which should include kitchen tried to place an order for sushi I was told we are no longer serving sushi tonight i’ve been canceled my order because I only wanted a sushi decided maybe to get something from the kitchen call back at 9:03 the phone was never answered I’ve been called back about a minute later still no answer rude service in my opinion. And misrepresentation of the food served there along with hours
When we called to place a carry out order for sushi as they advertise they do and we were told that they only do dine in orders. We have ordered carry out with them before and it was decent but definitely not the best, the convenience was the big plus. Them cutting a big avenue for customers to patron them is a mistake and we will not make the mistake of organizing a huge order and calling them to be turned away again.
Have been here 4-5 times. My wife, kids and I have enjoyed having a Korean BBQ that is local. Prior to finding goki goki we were driving to Madison heights to get our fix. Unfortunately we have noticed things slipping here. They are understaffed and with every visit have progressively had more and more items on the menu that are not available. Every time we have been they have been out of romen, then all desserts, followed by cold sake. If you are not going to have something on the menu reprint the menus! As far as our last experience both the floors and menus were terribly sticky, every page had to be pealed apart. Our total dining experience was almost 3 hrs. We were a party of 9 and only 2 other tables in the restaurant were occupied (both 6 or more in the parties). It took about 30 min to get an order in.. We were warned sushi would take a while so we asked to get food as it was done and not wait. Hot food came in about 45 min and was ok. One of 5 dolsat was heavily overcooked and black on bottom. It was not edible. We then waited another 45min - hr for sushi. By which point no one was really excited to eat it, but it was good. The server was sweet and did her best. Im sure Rona hasnt helped them out and they are struggling, but there are things you can do to pivot and keep your customer experience high. If you are short staffed do limited menu but print off smaller menus. Keeping the restaurant free of sticky is pretty easy. I hope you succeed and I can give you 5 stars in the future. It is really great to have you in the community please do better.
The food is outstanding-- so much so that I ate an entire mushroom bomb in the car! Sushi was so gorgeous and incredibly complex and tasty although we liked the Drunken Tiger more than the Michigan Roll. Next time, we will need to try the rest of the fare, but it certainly promises to be just as good. Cute store up front to buy snacks, moshi, ramen, etc. Please carry Korean honey chips so I dont need to buy them on Amazon! Thanks for a great experience.
Delicious and flavorful food with various choices to choose from! The staff are incredibly nice and have a great sense of the menu. The service is a bit slow and the food takes a bit to be prepared, but not as long as other restaurants I’ve been to. It is without a doubt worth the small wait! Great for getting together with family and friends!
My wife and I were looking forward to dining at Goki Goki but we were disappointed by our first experience. We love sushi but we were told by our server that it would take an hour to get sushi because they only had one sushi chef. We were already hungry so we decided to order the steamed dumplings as an appetizer. When they finally came to the table, they were fried. The server brought us another order that was steamed, the fried were actually better, maybe the chef knew better. We also ordered the beef short ribs. The meat tasted good but when they sliced it on the bone, bone fragments were left in the meat. It is difficult to eat meat with bone fragments. Overall, a very disappointing visit.
Food is great, but all 3 times Ive went, the service was EXTREMELY slow. Last time there were only 2 other tables and 2 wait staff working. It took literally 10-15 minutes for each drink... and over an hour to get my food. The other time, there was only 1 other table, and it took almost an hour to get 2 sushi rolls.
This place is really incredible!!! They have a great lil store next to the restaurant and the restaurant itself is amazing and has really great Korean food which is hard to find in Michigan! Its a really great atmosphere and super pretty and the owners are amazing. If youre far away its worth the drive, I would choose Goki Goki over a lot of other similar restaurants in Michigan.
The food here was amazing extremely fresh, insane flavor, cooked to perfection. The sushi, no exception, absolutely amazing. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. And the establishment itself was beautiful inside. Very clean, very well presented. Also service was extremely fast. I cannot wait to return.
We put a take out order in for sushi, I was told 45 min. That seemed pretty long for sushi but was willing to wait. We go to pick it up and they never put the order in and then asked us to wait another 25min to prepare. There were maybe 4 cars at the place. Good luck staying in business with your poor customer service and terrible handling of orders. Will never go back and I’ll make sure to tell everyone I know in the area of the subpar service. Very disappointed.
Absolutely amazing food!! The atmosphere was intimidating, but the food was priced accordingly. Our waiter was extremely helpful & informative! Two of us ate, with an appetizer & dessert for under $40!!! Portions were large. We will definitely be back! The deli also looked amazing! I cant wait to try the dried meat at home also!!!
Wow, finally a great addition to the Fenton area. Nice atmosphere and definitely a different experience that stands out from all the other restaurants. Food was flavorful and portion size was good. Our waitress was very kind and prompt. We will definitely be back to try out more dishes!
Awesome food. The owner is GREAT!!!Just tried it again after a year. Ordered the beef broth soup. Very expensive for a flavorless soup. The meat is dry and pasty. Ive had food from here many times. This is my first disappointment, which stinks secondary to the amazing service that was provided to me be Fenton Food Express. originally ordered sushi (they had some unavailable items). well..Apparently they were no longer serving sushi. Well, why is it even an option.I changed my order of sushi to the soup, that was considerably more expensive, and very disappointing. I know that this soup is a huge undertaking and takes the patience of a Saint. But... if your going to put that much time and effort into it, add a dash of love and maybe some sort of salt?
I wouldn’t even give them one star. My first time ordering from them & they completely messed up my order & told me it was my fault & that I needed to drive 30 minutes back to the store for them to just give me the rest of the food that they didn’t give me the first time & they wouldn’t even replace the order they messed up. Never going here again. Spent $60 for food I didn’t even get to eat. Would’ve thought that a manager would want to speak to customers whom are upset & the manager in the background on the phone said “I don’t want to deal with that, take a name & number” . HORRIBLE SERVICE.
Absolutely amazing Korean food. The sizzling pots will stay extremely hot for the whole meal so be careful! Also, they are scaling back the meat market, so dont expect anything more than their dry aged cooler, but they are expanding their sushi bar which I suspect would be really good if their main dishes are any indication.
So, weve been going to goki for a while now and LOVE the food for the most part. Prior to Covid wed only been in the dining area a couple of times and although the food was good, the service was hit or miss, starting with the first step in the door when you basically have to make your presence known since there is nobody dedicated to greet customers. Then Covid hit and we did carry out. The first time much of our order was missed, but we gave them a pass because we knew they were slammed. Hint to the owners - taking a name and actually MARKING THE ORDER with the name is very helpful when you have no carry out process. The 3rd time we did carry out, the building was open so I walked in to get my order and again nobody there at the carry out station to greet myself and another customer and the gentlemen seating in the dining room told us someone else would be there to help us shortly.. Ten minutes later here he comes, helps the first customer out and walks away, like I wasnt even there. Finally comes back and asks for the order I was picking up, gave him the info and he walked away. Some girl and her boyfriend, whom Im assuming either works there or is associated with the restaurant in some fashion was having an argument in the front entrance with her boyfriend about his cleaning or not cleaning the counter top at their apartment, completely oblivious that I was even there...a paying customer. Food comes out about 15 minutes later (Id called 45 minutes prior to order) and I leave, as the arguing couple and Im assuming an owner or manager walk outside and continue to yuck it up like theyve just left a club. Today we went for carry out again, and will be our final time. We walked in to place our order and again, NOBODY around, I go make ourselves known and a waitress and some older gentlemen looked at us like we were trespassing. We tell them we want to place a carry out, yes, asked if we knew what we wanted, yes; asked if we needed a menu, no like I said we know what we want, the waitress says ok. We walk up front, 5 minutes later she comes up are you ready to order, (seriously), YES we are READY to order. So we do, she repeats back what we tell her we want, starts putting our order in and says shell be right back, 5 minutes later comes back takes our payment says well be 30 minutes. I give her the name for the order, she laughs at me (???), she says to my fiancé, can you write your name on this receipt....So we go back 30 minutes later, pick up the food go home and one of our entrees is missing, one she repeated back when we ordered.I cannot stress enough how disappointing it is that there is so little care for customer service in this restaurant. What could be a thriving, amazing place for Fenton and the surrounding areas its nothing but excuses for poor service, (like the infamous backed up kitchen when youre waiting in the dining room for 30+ minutes for an appetizer and two tables have guests), to being forgotten by waitstaff altogether. Either get some new ownership or the owner should go get some training on how to run a restaurant. Sadly, we wont be back. Too many chances, too many disappointments for the amount of money weve spent there during each visit. DO BETTER GOKI or just close your doors!
Consistently, Goki Goki is slow with pickup orders. Show up at the stated pick up time and Staff will say “it will be ready in 10 minutes” and then it won’t be ready for half an hour or longer. They are able to say how long it will take on the app but clearly they don’t utilize that function. Staff do not wear masks and neither do cooks.
Not a place for lunch ( yet). While the restaurant was almost completely empty it took them 20 minutes to seat our party of 8 and I think they were confused with the reason we came. The staff was trying hard, but obviously not experienced with a lunch group. It took a few remainders before we got waters and the menu was tiny and not suit for a lunch gathering, unless you would order sushi. Prices are too high for lunch, but everything comes with extras : soup and small condiments.Confusion also with paying our bills and it took way too long to get out of the door. The food quality was good, but overpriced for lunch . I know it will take some time to get things on track and get everyone accustomed and I sure hope they will get a nice lunch menu together with reasonable prices cause nobody wants to pay $14 plus for a pretty simple lunch. I guess if you come for a dinner bbq this place may rock. The rich aromas sure tickle you nose when you enter. Good luck folks !
Been excited to try only to be disappointed. Very nice staff, we were quickly seated, given water and then forgotten. Watched others walkout but thought they were just to impatient. Nope. After 30 minutes warm (not hot) soup was served. Waiting another 20 minutes and repeatedly hitting the staff call button our staff sitters came an and said the kitchen was running behind. There was only about six people in the intire reasturant. Ask could we get our appetizers, I thought the poor girl was going to cry. Left restaurant after being there more then one hour and only had water and soup. The kitchen needs to get its act together. Thumbs down
Excellent, Authentic Korean Food. We have always had a really great experience here! We especially love and appreciate the fact that when we call in our orders for pick-up, one of the employees remembers our previous orders! We also love the homemade gojuchang sauce (we always use the leftover sauce on other food we make at home!). My husband and I highly recommend Goki Goki! Thank you!
The food & atmosphere here are GREAT! The sushi’s amazing, along with soups, meats etc. Mama Kim is the BEST & ONLY purchases fresh vegetables and makes everything by hand. You will NOT be disappointed. I’ve been eating Korean food for a long time, if you don’t know the items or understand them, asking is your best option. ENJOY!
Got out of work today hungering for sushi.Drove up to the restaurant at 8pm. One of the owners sons was outside. I asked if they were still open and he said yes.I was like are you sure as I was a server and know what its like when people come in at the close of the night. He reassured me no problem and made me the best tuna rolls.Thank you guys for feeding me. I appreciate you both.Jennie goldberg
The WORST SERVICE! Or should I say NO service! Made a reservation at 6:30pm at least 5 days prior to the reservation. We got to the restaurant and waited 30 minutes before anyone even came to our table. They blamed this on the hostess. Someone then came to the table another 15 minutes later to say the owner will be taking care of this. Another 10 minutes water came. The owner finally came and kept leaving the table. In hour and a half that we were there, we received water and she took one order and took off again! This was my sons 30th Birthday dinner and all 6 of us felt bad. We all just got up and walked out. The rudest people on the planet!
Was greeted as soon as I walked in. Immediately noticed the wonderful aroma coming from the hibachi grille! Great atmosphere with a nice variety of meat, seafood and salads in the deli. Hibachi food was excellent! Food was ready in 5 min! Will definitely go back and try the sandwiches. Cant wait for the restaurant side to open!
Very very poor service, actually 0 service. We had reservations and were seated prominently. The place was maybe 50% capacity. After that nothing for about 30 minutes, then some super young man comes over to apologize. Then nothing for 10 minutes. Then he comes back and says you a very special guest now. And now will be our super waitress. 10 minutes later she comes. Says what you have then turns around and leaves. Lol just freaky. Places looks nice, but couldnt say anything else. We just left. Place and staff BLOWS bubbles!!
Went there before the full menu was ready. I got steak and cooked it at the table. Owner came buy and showed us what we were doing wrong. Thank goodness because her suggestions were great. Loved the food and the experience. Cant wait to come back when they are fully open.
Very disappointed!! My husband, my son and I were there for lunch on 10-23 we ordered the 11pc. Pot stickers for an appetizer and an entree for each of us. My husband and my son got their entrees and I didnt. After about 10 minutes (or more) I asked if they forgot my entree, the server said no, it will be out in a few minutes. I said I would like to eat with my family. She chuckled and said it should be out in a few minutes (I didnt think that was funny). There was only one other table there with guests???
We come all the time and with large groups for Korean Adoptees. Had no problems and food is always good. For some reason today we had to wait for over an hour to get two bowls of soups. In the meantime were sitting there watching people who came after us get their food. I asked what took so long and they said kitchen was back up. There are only 5 tables filled the whole time we were there. Really? Kitchen was backed up with 5 tables?!
Im glad this place finally opened! The food was great quality and a great experience. The service was great and really helpful. I got the Angus beef and the spicy pork and cooked it on the grill at the table. They both were great! Theres a market connected to the restaurant that has a bunch of great food and meats. Definitely coming back!
I have only gone to the market and every time I have been impressed. The dry aged meats look delicious. The staff in the meat department is very helpful and always willing to help you. The butcher grabbed me a nice selection of sirloins. (Showed the selected cuts to make sure I was happy with them) The cost was very affordable and it was good quality meat. Hope to dine in and try the food soon.
I went to this restaurant with two other people.... one of our three meals was pretty good. However the part that was most frustrating about our experience was our waiter. He started off strong but forgot us multiple times and when we were unhappy with a part of our meal (very bland) he got defensive and was down right rude to my husband. We will not be returning.
I want to love this place because my kid does but it’s getting terrible. They don’t have a working phone number so you can’t call to get information. Drove there twice this week for nothing. Once they were closed for maintenance and the second time to find out there not doing take out now. Ugh
Do not bother! The food had no flavor. We did not get half our meal or the correct things we asked for. Finally ask for our bill took over 30 minutes, spoke with the manager twice and finally had to tell them what we had to cash out!!! Had to get up each time and raise my voice for them to finally step up and do something as a managers for them to understand we want our bill. Not worth the price, taste, or serivce... and who charges a credit card fee at a resturant!! Save your money and time. Will never go back or recommend. Ive worked in restaurant and that is not how you treat customers or have return service. Wish I could rate this as a 0! Dont bother!
One of the best Authentic Korean Restaurant. Real stylish Korean decors and dishes adds to the charm and the service was great. Thanks.Oh the food? It was one of the best; lick the dish after you finish good. And kimchi truly was real and awsome. The restaurant also comes with tiny market. The best😍
The food was very good. I ordered carry-out, however the carry-out out staff couldnt answer one of my questions about their menu. The young lady told me I dont know whats in that dish everything comes out in packages and I never see the food. I told her itd be wise to study the menu. They were very slow in their dining room, but my food took forever to be made.
Very good. Husband didnt like the idea of cooking items at the table but I convinced him that was the Korean way to do BBQ! Brought back great food memories of my time in South Korea. Only disappointing thing was the lack of any actual Koreans in the restaurant. Does Fenton even have a Korean population?? Ill definitely be back to try all their authentic items.
The food was really good. Service was not. I couldnt tell if my server was speaking english or just talking so quietly that I couldnt here her over the really, really, awful Korean boy bands playing in the background. Im not sensitive to spicy foods.. but this food wrecked havoc on my GI system about 8 hours later. Not fun
Update 6/26:I find this place enjoyable to return to and it is continually improving as time goes on. They add new items and it is constantly changing with unique products. We went here for dinner and it was more enjoyable (with more menu items) than the last time we ate here.Based on a relatively recent opening:I had really enjoyed this place. It is very unique to Fenton and brings a whole different taste and style to this area. The first couple of times were great, followed by good, followed by meh.Marketplace: Seems easy to navigate after some wandering. Not too many issues. I have revisited many times in hopes of finding what I had purchased previously, only to find more than once that they no longer had what I wanted. This mostly pertained to the sweets aisle. I asked if it was going to be rotating at this point, in which it was stated it was based upon best selling. In this case, the limited variety they had in their marketplace (due to space), became more limited. The Hibachi is also interesting... hopefully this area will be improved. I have not tried illy coffee. Between all of this in the marketplace, it would be around 3 or 4 stars. Im giving 4 for the recent opening.Restaurant:Waited a couple minutes to be greeted. Not my biggest issue. After being seated, my server was as attentive as she could be. Which I find very funny, because she was tending to more tables than the 5 or 6 staff members standing around behind our table (took away from the experience I suppose, seemed overstaffed with nothing to do...). When an individual appearing to be a manager or owner walked by, she asked how it was and I said good. I asked for some refills on our drinks (that had been sitting there for awhile empty). She took them, but afterwards, when she brought them back, she promptly stated that if I needed more service then I needed to press the button on the table. Now if that was explained to me when I was sat or by my server (which happened to be the same person), I would have been more than happy to. Im also sure she didnt mean it the way she had said it, but it came off quite rude actually.Quality of food was good, but not my taste preference. What I didnt understand is that a menu can be found online on their website which is completely different than the one given to us.May take us a second to come back here to eat again, with hopes of the place aging well with time.
This place is a five star gem in the middle of up and coming Fenton. Ive eaten at lots of Korean BBQs around the country and I must say that Goki Goki is right at the top. We got the marinated beef combo and it was absolutely to die for. The presentation was simply gorgeous. The side dishes were equally fantastic and our server, Josiah, was absolutely great. He was very helpful in deciding what dish we wanted and we cooked all of the meats ourselves right at the table. The inside of this restaurant is gorgeous.. theyve done a wonderful job with the build-out and everything was impeccably clean. The mojo inside is great along with great music. I rarely mentioned the ambiance because being such a foodie, I generally dont care about the surroundings... Only the food. But this place is just gorgeous inside and out and the food is easily the best not only in Fenton, but in the surrounding area. This place should be number one in Fenton without question and anyone who gives it anything less than five stars simply doesnt know anything about food. You know its good when youre still thinking about it the next day and your mouth is watering while thinking about it. I cant wait to go back. 5 stars!
In terms of the place looking elegant ; it’s a 10/10, but however there was setbacks , menu stated the salad comes with the entree , waiter said I know it says that but the owner said no ; really , are you kidding me ? Also the side salads for the entree , a joke ! The rice was soso but truth be told the miso soup was great .. oh and they told me on the phone about happy hour , when I inquired they said there isn’t anything , finally they said buy one beer get one half off.. my last comment , I have been in the restaurant business , if you want to succeed be generous , be giving , people will therefore spread the word and come back .. was my first and last visit .. btw it is very very expensive ...
Visited on a Saturday afternoon and I appeared to be the only one there although someone later came for take out. Given a menu without any explanation about option of cooking your own meal. Ordered a chicken dish and was then served Miso soup and my drink. Soup was good but afterwards no one came around for about 1/2 hour. Dish came out along with pickled veggies and lettuce leafs and rice. Chicken way overcooked and bbq sauce was bland and reduced to a sticky syrup. Kimchi served with meal was hands down the worst Ive ever experienced. Bill came and lunch was $25 with the added service charge for using a credit card. Maybe it isnt typically like this but the slow service, bland food, and service charge are reason enough not to revisit.
I tried this place for the first time yesterday. We got take out - 3 sushi rolls (Fenton Roll, Crunch Munch, and the Dragon Roll) and 2 Bulgoki Bento Boxes.Ummmm, YUM! I normally don’t order bento boxes but these were SO good. The meat was nicely marinated, the onions were crisp, the tempura vegetables were so good, the rice was so moist and soft. Highly recommend the bento boxes! The sushi rolls - The 3 we got were so YUMMY! I couldn’t choose a favorite. They were packaged well for take out.The miso soup was also very good.Overall I’m so happy this place exists right around the corner from us :) we used to drive elsewhere if we wanted good sushi.
Seriously this place is amazing. The food is perfect. My partner lived in Ann Arbor for 6 years and missed Korean food so much moving to this area and Goki goki surpassed her expectations and my own. Hands down the best Korean food ever. The atmosphere was so calm. The service was great. But the food was the star of the show, we highly suggest the bulgoki beef and pork, it was interactive and seriously mouthwatering delicious. It makes us so happy to welcome goki goki to the community. The owner “Mama Kim” was so personalble and passionate. We can’t wait to come here regularly and can’t recommend it enough.
Slow service, my dish was dry and tasteless, husband got a t-bone 28$!!!!It was cooked the way he asks but covered in sauce that was bland. Waiter kept forgetting usIt wasn’t busy when we arrived so no reason for slow serviceIn the end for 2 sodas and meals it was 61$ total ripe offWill not being coming back
Finally a decent KBBQ restaurant nearby where the staff is friendly and welcoming. It is a bit pricey but the food is worth it. First time I visited I had the tteokbokki and pork belly which the pork belly was fantastic and cooked by the chef. Tonight we had the marinated beef combo which we grilled ourselves and was extremely good. The kimchi here is fantastic Im assuming they make their own as well as the ginger dressing which was very light and the ginger wasnt overpowering. They do have a call button on the tables so if you need anything you can hit the button. Never had to use it but pointing it out before people criticize the service. KBBQ isnt like your average restaurant where your waiter may be breathing down your neck the entire time. Kind of wish there was more banchan. Yes you can have as much as you want but the dishes are tiny and you quickly go through it, especially if youre sharing. Maybe bring out two sides of them if multiple people? I love all the sides but feel awkward and bothersome going through them so quickly. This restaurant is still a baby so keep that in mind when going and I cant wait to see it grow. Has lots of potential! Also if you cant handle spicy Id avoid as a lot of Korean food is generally spicy (the meats unless specified arent spicy but the banchan has some kick this includes dishes that contain kimchi like the jjigae and jeon). A good place to go to if you like trying and experiencing new things but bad if you dislike spicy and are picky.
Dad took his two boys to eat in the restaurant. Our waitress Reagan was outstanding. Service was excellent and timing was good. Food came out fast. Quality of food and presentation is top notch. Menu is currently limited. The Mandoo (potstickers) were excellent. Ginger dressing salad and Miso soup were very good. My Pork BBQ dish (Jyettuk?) was served with nice lettuce leaves to be loaded with rice, pork and other accompaniments. I found this too involved and ended up putting the rice on my plate and adding pork on top. My sons dish served on a hot stone plate had mussels, squid and octopus topped with caviar on rice. Both dishes were good sized and tasty but just average on flavor. Nothing terribly exciting like Wow, this is good... given the $17 cost each. We agreed that 3.5 Stars was our rating. We will likely try the To-Go dishes next time. The store has many good Japanese snacks and drinks along with sauces and ingredients. Prices are good. Meat and seafood look excellent.
The atmosphere is very welcoming. The staff are amazing. The food is delicious even though the menu is limited. I cannot wait to see what nore they can offer once they get a bigger menu. So happy to experience the kbbq with my Mother and family. Will be returning again. ❤
Last time I was there the food was to die for. I wanted to go back. We had a reservation, got seated, and then had to wait 30 minutes just for water. We had to leave. 3 hours later, they probably still havent noticed weve left. Too bad because their food was awesome. I wont be back unfortunately
This was amazing. Didnt know what to expect going here for the first time. Went with my kids at a time when we had the place to ourselves before dinner and after lunch. No kids menus. I have picky kids so it took a minute to find something they would be willing to try. Kids loved the Shrimp Tempura though and the Bimbimbop. Would totally recommend it again, but maybe well leave the kids at home next time.
If I could leave zero stars I would just an FYI. To start the host that was supposedly getting our table ready (for 2 people) never came back to seat us. We had to ask someone else if we were going to get a table ever and he sat us immediately since the dining room was basically empty so idk what the host needed to do to “get a table ready”. Then we waited about 10 minutes for the same host to come to the table and say “what do you want to drink?” No introduction of himself or if we had ever been there before. Then the server comes to the table about 20 minutes in we ordered all our food immediately to hopefully speed the process up, we were sat at noon and I didn’t have a bite to eat until 1 and that was only the appetizer we had ordered. The waitress stated that things were simply coming out slow that day???? It’s a Tuesday afternoon!!!! The ban Jon was served in tiny little ramekins about the size of a shot glass and when I asked about the meet I had ordered she said they were cooking it for me??? I ordered off the raw bbq meat section so I could do it at the table. The bbq meat was outrageously expensive for what you receive. We ordered the pork belly it was 18 dollars for 4 slices!!!!! Unreal! And the galbi was 25 for 4 ribs!!! I will never ever ever come back to this place. I’d rather drive an hour to Troy to go to bulgogi, the food is better, quicker, better portions, and overall better experience. Don’t waste your time or energy on this place.
The food here is AMAZING, we got the large marinated beef combo and it was all top quality and came with all the lovely sides that you would get in korea. Although the food was to die for the real star of the show was Shelby, our server. She talked us through all of the menu and gave recommendations and cheerfully chatted with us despite the fact that we unfortunately came a little close to closing time. She also cooked and cut our food for us despite it usually being a self serve kind of thing. She even offered dessert although it was late! Shelby is the best and deserves a raise, and this restaurant deserves an award for best korean barbecue!
The spicy pork jowl is one of the most amazing things you will ever eat!!! We brought our four year old and she stayed entertained throughout the entire meal. Will absolutely come here again. Anyone who gives this place a bad review is clearly a lame eater and doesnt enjoy life.
Ive been there twice and the food (for the high prices) is only okay. The seafood is small (tiny shrimp, tiny mussels, tiny calamari, etc.. Tiny!)both or entries were sweet and we asked our server if there were other choices. They couldnt answer that because they hadnt tried enough of the plates Why Because they have to pay (with minimal discount) for the food! How can you make your servers pay for food? They should be GIVEN a taste of everything and explained about the plate so they can answer the customers questions.I think Goki Goki thinks you much of themselves and not about the customer or their staff.I wont be going back a 3rd time and have told everyone I know about this poor management (they feel the same now) .What a shame.
This place may one day open!! Im really looking forward to eating here once its open.Edit: This place will never open... Website says August, its September... I hate when websites lie to me.Second edit: its now December and still no signs of when its going to open.Third Edit: Changing to 4 stars! They are now opened!! Waiting for them to start making their own kimchi. Currently they only have it jarred from other places. Had a few to go items and they were pretty good. Excited to eat at the actual restaurant.
This was my first visit and I was very disappointed. The food was good but too over priced for the amount you get. I had vegetable Bibimbab and was shocked that it was served on plate??? 12.00 + tax. I eat Korean food all the time but this is the first time I left a restaurant still hungry. It wasnt worth the money. They need to serve larger portions for the money you pay.
Dont get confused this place is good. There are alot of options and the menu can get overwhelming; but just rely on the waitstaff. You can cook your food or get already cooked options. The seasonings are amazing and there is even sushi to boot. I will definately be back to try more. JOSIAH IS THE MAN. He was a great waiter.
Excellent service and the food was extremely tasty and well prepared. A bit pricy but you are also getting angus beef. It’s like going to Luckys Steak house and paying more for better quality. I will definitely be visiting this place often. Their menu is on the light side as of right now but, they plan to expand their menu in the future. I highly recommend this restaurant.
First time visit was great!!! Server was very knowledgeable about the menu, and pointed out the latest additions. He made the effort to learn more by asking us a few questions after we got them. We plan on going back again and again to try everything on the menu. Ask for Mitchell.
Other reviewers must never have been to a really good Korean place. Goki is overpriced and stingy with everything: Proportions are small, and that goes for sauces, too (even if you ask for extra). No side dishes/amouse bouche provided - this is standard Korean fare. You can be expensive, but you cant be chintzy, too. I wont be back.
The food was excellent, in fact it was the best bulgogi Ive eaten from various Korean restaurants. The restaurant is super nice and theres a market with not just deli meats&cheeses but meats, seafood, and awesome looking aged beef. Its also a oriental market along with other grocery items. You can get the food served on the menu take it home and cook it yourself if you choose. Reasonable prices too. The reason for the four stars are the menu prices. The BBQ has four beef dishes, wed perfered two meat, chicken or seafood, something to break from all the beef. The side dishes that usually come with a Korean BBQ, were very scant, only three. They need less beef and more yummy side dishes. There are cheaper ways to eat and get the same yummy food. I definitely recommend going to eat at Goki, the people are very friendly and concerned with your service. Food is excellent and there is alcohol too. That I didnt try :( lol.
Pros: Nice atmosphere, able to cook your own food on the infared table grill, korean culture is displayed very prominently and nicely, nice proportion to cost ratio.Cons: Small drink glasses, slower service (just opened), very limited menu choices (10 max currently).
Arrived around 7pm, waited over 20 minutes, pressed the call button, waited longer. Never was asked what we wanted to drink. Only 2 other tables being served, and one had finished eating. We were very excited to try this place, left very disappointed as we didnt get to try it.
Got there at about 730, they were supposed to close at 9. The sign that said open was showing so it looked like it was open. Went inside and they said they arent taking any more customers. Very unprofessional, the least they could have done was changed the sign to closed.

2022-07-02Everything was so delicious. I came with 4 other people. We grilled our own dinner. Everyone picked a different meat. The chicken bulgoki melts in your mouth! And my personal favorite was the Jeyuk bulgoki (spicy marinated pork). The bathroom was nice and clean. I just wish they had a non scented soap for hand washing. The waitress was amazing. But the only downfall was that the kitchen didnt listen to her when she said a member of my party had an allergy to a certain vegetable. Seems like they should crack down on that. Dont want someone with a severe allergy having an attack in your restaurant because the cooks dont listen.

2022-04-01Well this place would be great with actual workers and a management team. The food is amazing but unfortunately the service is as dead as the bugs that sit in rack by the front door that for what ever reason do not get cleaned out. They were here 3 months ago lol. Any way the dine in services are terrible and the take out is just as bad. The wait staff are just flat out brilliant when it comes to customer service. It’s like it’s their first job and well it just might be, but come on management let’s fix this so Fenton can bring in larger business

2022-05-28First time there me and the wife went out on a Friday night around 5 PM food was fantastic however the experience overall was pretty bad not only was our server halfway dressed and unprofessional using vulgar language our table which is used to grill the food did not operate on one of the sides and so we asked that they grill it for us and we’re charged for it!!! The fact that our server did not even ask us to make it right or compensate in anyway shows a lack in management and professionalism. My appetizer came out after my actual meal and preferably I would just have them cook it for me “if”and that is a “BIG IF” I go back. There’s no way that you go to a restaurant order one appetizer and a dinner for 2 for a bill that is $120 and get this kind of service. The food as stated before did taste great but we go out to have wonderful experiences and I did not enjoy how we were treated, we were told great things about this place hopefully they are able to bounce back.

2022-02-03The food is decent but there was one person doing the hosting, serving, bussing and running! Her name was Allie and she deserves to be treated better than that as an employee! She did great but this is not the first time we’ve been here and it wasn’t properly staffed. Management needs to get it together!

2022-02-10Definitely the worst hour and half experience ever!!! We were the only people in the restaurant but yet still had terrible service. Appetizers were fine but when the meats came out our server couldn’t get the grill table to work so we had to move tables and the server didn’t even help us move anything (not any of the food she just put on our table)and the second table seemed to not be heating up. Definitely feel like they should heat the grill up before they come out with a plate full of raw meat. Had to get up and find our server to let her know our grill wasn’t heating up and she pretty much had no idea what to do, so finally we just asked to bring it back to the kitchen and at least have them cook raw pork and beef. Waited for the meat to be cooked for 45min and by that time our table of 5 just wanted to get out of there! Maybe it’s because everything going on but still worst experience at a restaurant in my life!

2022-01-30First time I sting at one of these Korean places where you cook your own meat and Id say it was pretty good experience overall definitely came away full while it didnt seem like I would at first. Also was my first time having sake that was heated so that was great, wait staff was also on the ball.

2022-05-05We came here a few months back just me and the wife, the food was decent and hot. This time we came as a party of 7 with my family around 6pm on a Wednesday, and I reserved the morning of just to give a heads up, probably 4 other tables being served but there seems to be severe staff shortages. Our poor server Rebeka was awesome and did her best to keep up. Aside from the few mixups and delays the food came out just under warm, and we had 2+ Bolgoki dishes which are supposed to come on sizzling hot plates, so it was unfortunate. I guess the wood trays under the skillets where not needed. It was hard to get consistent refills on the drinks and over 2 hours of dinning only had 2 maybe 3 refills total on the soft drink, which is something small, but also related to the understaffing. Food was all bland and the meat and chicken had a chemical aftertaste to it, both things we didnt notice last time. There is no way I could justify $30 yet alone $15 for a dish. Only added dropped 2 stars because not sure if they made a mistake or felt bad, but we were brought out a free chicken dish since it was already prepared. And also Rebeka bless her heart was trying her best to manage and was nice. Management needs to make some changes, noticed they also dropped .4 stars since we last came, so it seems to be catching up. Probably wont be back for a while.

2021-03-22First time to visit. We were a little disappointed. We ordered sushi to go and when we got home found we did not get everything we paid for. The tuna tower was a little light on the tuna and not the tuna poke that we really prefer. A couple of the rolls were not rolled very tight and the ingredients did not have that individual pop you get when they are fresh and not mixed too much.I will say I appreciate the manager taking care of the order when we called to complain about not getting what we paid.

2022-02-13My family and I love this establishment and frequent it as often as time and weather permit as it is an hour drive from our home. The food is delightful with a well rounded menu of various Asian dishes and Korean specialties. The service and the food are absolutely enjoyable.

2022-03-06On the 2nd time dining in we sat and waited about 15-20 min. The front was packed with other guests. Some of whom had walked out before being greeted. When sat at the table it took our server about 10-15 min to come over and ask for drinks and appetizers. Another 15 to recieve the drinks and a whole hour until the apps came out. The couple next to us who was waited on by the same server had not received anything. They were seated before us. We finally put in our entrées which took another hour before we asked for a manager. Ally immediately took over and assured us that the food was never put in and would take only 5 minutes to bring out. In a rush, we decided to wait a little longer. Ally was very kind and professional with positive upbeat energy. I did not get our servers name, but I am not here to shame her. I want to congratulate Ally for all the hard work and dedication. She even told me who to ask for next time and to get home safely. I will definitely be back. And I do highly recommend, but not on a Saturday night.
