Bagel was good, but they dont have anywhere to inside to sit down and eat it. The table outside are in the direct sun. I was hoping to make thus one of my daily stops... nope.
I asked for a salt bagel with cream cheese toasted dark. Got a poppy seed, that wasnt even warmed. This was my 2nd time visiting 1st time was just as bad. But always give places a 2nd chance. After all anyone can have a bad day, but twice is rate except for this place. I try to support local. But if they arent that good & tend to be pricey, I let them die. This is one Ill let die
I finally found a place that does bagels right and really have some solid skills on how to assemble top grade ingredients into a piece of culinary art! The sandwiches are nothing short of perfection! So glad to have found them. A nice bit of pleasure during a dreary time.
This place needs some fine tuning to be as expensive as it is. $30 for 3 tiny basic bagel sandwiches (tax and tip included) is way too much. The whole order was really sloppy and the prep station was really messy too.
Great local business. Owner/staff are friendly and will make your bagel the way you like it. I will definitely return.
When I read the negative reviews and compare them to my experience leaves me scratching my head. By far the best bagel/sandwich in town. Fresh, minimal wait Adrian and staff couldn’t have been better. Very happy to hear they will be expanding into East Lansing, sounds like Ann St. in March. Clearly a popular spot with the college crowd, but for reason I cannot surmise. Bagels were ok, nothing special. Didnt have some basic common choices like poppy seed and Asiago. Cream cheese tasted like the bargain brand from Wal Mart.

My first time here and I got The Don, a plain bagel with brown sugar cream cheese and a Columbe Latte. The Don was divine, simply put. The plain bagel was eaten before our 6 minute drive home. The price for everything was great. Highly recommend!
Everybody says their bagels are so good, I guess I’m confused. Just ordered for the first time and the bagel was stale, hard as a rock……. And not just on the outside like you want. Maybe things were different before COVID and they still made their own bagels. Also didn’t get the fries I ordered “out of stock”lol. Other reviews say the same about the fries they’re always “out of stock” although available to order. don’t even wanna pursue a refund for that since I ordered delivery. Seems like they tell every customer to contact the third party ordered from. I get it but just a big hassle when the delivery apps could simply be updated as to what’s in stock and what isn’t. Pretty disappointed across the board.

Took my online order, accepted my payment, showed up to pickup and everything is locked up and there is a handwritten sign on the door that says sold out. Should not accept online orders if the business isnt still open, you are literally just stealing peoples money.
Originally came here just to pick up someones doordash order, but I got hungry while the were preparing the order and the food just smelt so good that I went and placed an order for myself. Best idea I had that day. I ordered a garlic bagel with cream cheese and an Arnold palmer iced tea/lemonade. The bagel itself was phenomenal and the cream cheese tasted great as well.Super friendly staff and super amazing food. I highly reccomend coming here if you enjoy bagels and want to start trying bagel sandwich as well.
If I could rate a negative number I certainly would!!! This was my second attempt at eating here BOTH experiences were AWFUL!!! The first time my online order THROUGH THEIR WEBSITE that was placed for pick up that took an additional 15 minutes after I got there and the only thing I ordered was the fries. Second attempt I placed an online order for delivery for fries and the SEC Parmesan Bagel but only got a bagel with cheese. When I attempted to call I was told to take it up with the delivery company that was used through THEIR website. I WILL NEVER recommend this place!! Food and service were both AWFUL!!!
I have been wanting to try but every time I try to order online it wont let me get a sandwich without egg! It says they dont accept special orders. Seems odd to me as not all people like egg. I called the phone number several different days and times with no answer and some days to only have them pick up and hang up! Super disappointing. I hope they work this out soon and I can try a breakfast sammie.

Honestly the best bagels in Lansing. Their sandwiches are amazing and their customer service is even better. Theyre extremely accommodating, we had an issue with the last order we got from them through Grubb, so we reordered and I put a note in saying that it was a reorder because wed received the wrong item, ( still tasty, hubbys just allergic to tomatoes) I didnt want them to think the reorder was an accident, and they gave us waffle bites and a note apologizing on top of our order. It was so sweet, just like the waffle bites! Highly recommend everything they have, even the coffee! Love this place!
This was my favorite bagel place when I lived in Lansing. I miss it so much! I usually got the chorizo one.
I’m struggling with this review. The bagels are super delicious. However, for a quick serve establishment, they need to do something about the wait times. I could have a 4 course meal for the time it takes them to kick out 2 bagels. Last time I waited nearly 45 minutes for 2 bagel sandwiches. More grills? More staff? I’m not sure but there has to be a better way.

Great customer service, creative sandwiches and exceptional ingredients and so good! Stopped in for the first time recently and this is now my new favorite spot. The Godfather was awesome! AJ helped with a large order of bagels and cream cheese that I picked up for a work event. Second to none!

My husband and I ordered 2 sandwiches online. It said theyd be ready in 28-38 minutes. When he arrived at the 40 min mark, they told him itd be 10 more minutes...He ended up waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes. They didnt even apologize for the excessive wait. Honestly, Id give 4 stars for the food, but such a poor customer experience is why I give 2 stars. I do get that places are understaffed and running lean, however, a quick Sorry for your wait, thank you goes a long way to earn repeat business. Really disappointed, as we were hoping this could be a regular place we go to.

First time in the restaurant today. Had just asked for a bagel with cream cheese but was informed that they were not taking orders anymore. They close at 3 and I was there around 12:30. The worker’s weren’t wearing gloves and ended up making my bagel after I pointed out they don’t close for so long. Got two coffees with the order and it was the worst coffees I’ve ever had, along with the worst bagel. Would love a refund because all that was $7.
Quite literally the best bagel . If its store bought Im shocked! One bite and I could imagine myself sitting outside a little city deli, cup of coffee, and one of these creations. This place has the touch! Fresh ingredients, and flavor that will send your imagination into other worlds. Customer for life!
The bagel sandwiches are 5 stars. The time it takes to get that 5 star bagel sandwich is the issue. I’m happy to see how busy they are in the midst of the pandemic but when you order online and get a confirmation your order will be ready in 45 minutes, only to end up waiting for nearly 2 hours before it actually is, the process needs to be reassessed.
THE best thing about Lansing. Hands down. My mom has me bring GoodFellas back home to Kentucky, when I visit, and makes sure its our first stop when shes visiting. Great staff, great bagels, great service. Whats not to love?
Wow! They turn the bagels into sandwiches. Cant wait to go back and try different ones! Authentic chorizo. FAT STACK of a sandwich. You can come here for a simple snack or fill up on FLAVOR. Guys working were super polite & busting out bagels like no ones business. Ya might even say theyre a couple of good fellas 😉
Food is decent but the fact that they quoted us 20-25 mins and it took a total of 40 mins for food then tells us “if we wanted 10-15 mins weekdays is the best”. No apology for the wait and didn’t value our time considering they started the sandwich 25 mins after ordered and asked us to pay before getting our food. Never going back

Update: been back a few times since that really long wait, food consistency is still really good. Wait times are still not great, maybe its related to online orders/technology issues. Id recommend calling as opposed to ordering onlineReally good sandwiches, and good price. But pretty slow service. But a recent experience is leaving me no choice but to give a a negative review. This past Sunday I put in an online order right at open, 9AM. I got a text confirmation saying my order will be ready between 10:am and 10:05 am. I get there around 9:55, order isnt ready yet, no big deal. At 10:05 Im told another ten mins, at 10:15 Im told another 10 mins. Im seeing other people come in placeing orders and getting their food before me. At 10:35 only a part of my order is complete and has been sitting for some time. I dont get my complete order (3 sandwiches) till after 11AM.
Was supposed to wait 20 minutes for my bagel, ended up having to wait 50 minutes for them to make it wrong.
Absolutely one of the best. I used to work downtown and came here regularly. Now that I work in Diamondale, I still make a trip out once a week to pick up a sandwich from here. They are ALWAYS good. Just a awesome place to pick up a quick lunch thats fresh and always good!
I had been wanting to try them out for a while; just had the Lucky and the Made Man...both so good youd paint a house for one.Also, the waffles were like the old country. Tremendous! Will be back to show loyalty and respect.

Need to order ahead of time . . atleast a day before or 30+ mins of the day of!. . i ended up leaving and never got my bagel. . .i waited over 35 min for a bagle and cream cheese....the owner wasnt wearing a mask as well as customers .. Very unprofessional behavior.. . have to give it to the two guys trying their hardest to keep up. . there were couple miss ups which caused orders to be delayed ..wish the owner would of helped. GO TO BANGOS!

Just ordered breakfast on my way home from work, the Godfather and the Don. They were ON TOP of it and my order was ready by the time i showed up, I even showed up earlier than anticipated. The Godfather was AMAZING, the Don is next but if its even half as good as the Godfather, its still gonna be a million times better than McDonalds. Will be back tomorrow morning with the BF for breakfast it was so good!! So many options, not sure what imma try tomorrow yet...

Went to place an order. Website is down so I placed an order on doordash to pick up. Website, google and doordash said they’re open. Waited 30 mins to go pick up, multiple homeless people clustering by the door begging for money. Open sign on window. No one answering. I tried calling, no answer. Finally someone opened the window and said something about noon. I tried asking about my order.. and he closed the window. Bagel sandwiches are good however the experience was not.
The breakfast bagels are amazing but the speakeasy menu is crazy good. Had to drive from detroit to try it. I recommend The Boss and The Irishman.

Eating my millionth (conservative estimate) Goodfellas bagel rn and felt like it was time for a review. Tastiest ingredients, friendliest staff, and strongest integration of theme throughout the menu and shop. Also, it kind of feels like Goodfellas invented cutting a bagel sandwich in half? Their bagels are b e a u t i f u l—a social media dream! Final thoughts: fully endorse for your breakfast, lunch, and/or mid-afternoon snack needs.

The workers refused to serve myself and the people I was with. Also, most were not wearing masks and an employee was eating in front of the counter and licking their fingers while over the prep station. Definitely not a sanitary place.
Super duper fire breakfast sandwich with the bacon and chorizo and they’re definitely on to something with that side waffle. Short interaction with staff but all acknowledged me. Awesome spot.

I ordered Goodfellas for the first time through doordash. I got the fugazi bagel and it was to die for! My sandwich was here quickly and it was absolutely perfect! I will become a frequent here!

Not just a regular bagel.. fresh ingredients, with all the fixings stacked high. Creative bagels with meats, cheeses, spices, peppers, veggies and just about anything else you can think of. My favorite so far is the Wiseguy.

2022-06-10Decided to try something new... been craving bagels but I usually dont eat them. If Im going to have them, better be the best darn bagel in the area! Chatted up some nice people who are originally from New York as I was in line. They gave it their approval so... that speaks highly. I got a bada bing on a parmesan bagel and a godfather on everything. Hubby gets half of each, obviously🙌🏻😂 Loves the downtown Lansing city view, no dine in at the moment so you wait at a window and get to see our town! Shout-out to Mr. Leslies Cheesecakes for stocking this spot. Snatched a banana creme for Hubby just because🥰

2022-01-15Ive never had a bad sandwich or experience with Adrian and his staff!!! My birthday breakfast was spent here, outside, on a beautiful day. Goodfellas The Don is the best bagel 🥯 sandwich Ive ever had. The herb cream cheese , selection of meats, and I switch up between the waffle and cinnamon raisin bagel for a good yummy treat. Normally I get the Natalies notice but today I did OJ. Just had another Don on Cinnamon Raisin and it was delicious!!!

2022-01-29They either have a very messy cooking station or do not clear off areas of the grill between orders. I ordered an egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel and my egg was full of sausage from the order before mine. As a vegetarian this wasn’t the way I wanted to start my day. I understand they are very busy but it takes only an extra minute to scrape off the leftover meat before cracking the egg. Very disappointed I could not enjoy my breakfast.

2022-06-15Visited from out of state on April 23rd. Enjoyed my bagel sandwich, however, had to wait literally an hour. I ordered in person, while they prioritized every single online order that came in. I understand expediting online orders but waiting an hour for an egg & cheese sandwich is ridiculous and staff wasn’t apologetic. Would’ve preferred if they told me at the window to just order online. Also, for what it’s worth, the coffee is canned rather than fresh, though that’s not clear on menu.

2022-04-01This was one of best sandwiches I have ever had!! I had the Bada Bing on an everything bagel. The people are friendly and helpful. You can tell they care about quality of the food they make. As my grandmother would say they cook with love. Definitely eating here again!

Maybe weekends are just heavy traffic days.Good bagel, not really worth the twenty-plus minute wait whether you order online or in person. In the time it takes to get your order you could go across the street to Meijer, buy the ingredients and make the bagel yourself.

2022-03-18Opens at 9am, always quick and always SOOO good🤤 You’ve got to try “The Lucky” Belgian waffle breakfast sandwich, it’s life changing. Oh, and definitely grab a coffee - they brew a superior cup of joe. I’ve only had this combo, but there is no way everything else isn’t quality. I’m deadly serious, you must try this place out!
