I’ve had nothing but great experience with this company.One day had someone run over our trashcan and completely destroyed, I called red creek and asked for a new trashcan and they had it out the same day!Another time we missed two weeks in a row of trash day called them and they sent someone out within 10 minutes. Wonderful experience with this company :)
For the second time in 2 months Ive had to call about the poor service. Each week, the pick up service dumps trash all over my driveway and yard. I pick it up until I get tired of it. Call Red Creek and register a complaint, nothing happens, nothing changes. This is an example of what awaited me when I came home today. REALLY tired of picking up after someone that I pay to do a job.
I was quoted pricing of residential waste, recycling and yard waste dumpsters and found Red Creek’s services are far cheaper than their Granger Garbage competitor. I also was assisted by a cheerful, female sales associate who left me feeling confident in choosing them to service our home in Lowell, MI.
I contacted Red Creek and I ask if the rates from last year where still valid, and if not, please me provided the current rates. The president and owner (the company’s customer service representative) replied that quoting the company’s current rates for service could be used to work against him verses his competition thus denied my request in written format. He never suggested or offered to use a phone call for rates as an alternative. He was upset that I didn’t start my business last year when I first inquired. I sent a follow up message explaining I had a current provider and my plan was not refundable if I terminated early. He failed to reply. He took it upon himself to randomly discriminate and refuse to provide the rates and/or service to me. Why would a company stray from the main principles of our free enterprise system and refuse to quote a price to potential customer? Delivering professional customer service, or lack of, says a lot about a company’s ethics.
I had to pay more😡i was told a price for 96 gallon to receive a 64 gallon and told to see if it could fit our families needs. she told me she had written down 96 gallon then whited out for a 64 gallon. i never ever suggested a 64 gallon. what i asked for. i would not recommend them.they do not send a invoice with billing so i have no proof of the orginal quote i was given.
Really feel ripped off by Larry at Red Creek Waste told me when I ordered a commercial dumpster that he didnt have the size I needed, so he sold me a larger one. He didnt discuss with me a year contract, had one of my employees sign when he delivered it. Now Im stuck!! Dont do business with Red Creek!
Even though they dont go out to my new house they are the friendliest, easiest to get a hold of, and most pleasant people that I have talked with. I believe the gals name was Amy that I spoke with. She was a ray of sunshine. I would recommend anyone to Red Creeks because of one phone call.
Driver lies. Lied about picking up trash one day. Then in another occasion the recycle Was being picked up and the driver dumped some in the yard and did not pick it up I called Red Creek and told them about it. They called their driver and he said it was there when he got there. My husband and I watched him. Some items fell out of the bin when he dumped it and he just left it there. I cant stand lies and it is no way to run a business.

2022-07-21Called to start a new service. Nobody picked up during business hours, the greeting said 2 biz days max for a response. 7 biz days later I get a call, my biz went to competitor due to the mishandling of my sales inquiry.

2022-07-21Trash and yard waste picked up with same claw and when I complained they stopped picking up my yard waste so I had to call again . Week later no yard waste picked up so I called and nobody came out. Week 3 no trash pick up or lawn waste. Called and nobody will call me back. Received invoice for double what we pre paid year earlier so i called and they said disregard that invoice and we will send another and still have t received it.

2022-07-23Poor service from Red Creek Waste!They never picked up my garbage on the scheduled day following the fourth of July, causing a deer to get hit.After calling twice, I finally got my garbage picked up.. five days later.

2020-12-31After having LOVELY conversations with both the office receptionist and the owner himself I have decided to leave this company after almost 3 years of service. I will admit I missed a payment for my You must pay 3 months of service in advance in the midst of some chaos this summer like everyone and their brother is going through. With this being said it was a $38.32 discrepancy to have my account paid in full. Now imagine having a full trash bin plus two extra bags not being picked up a few days after the holidays. I tried to call and rectify this error peacefully. Mind you, I bought my home and am on a 30 year loan looking to resolve this issue so can retain service with this company whom Ive enjoyed using until this previous altercation. They claim to have sent out a reminder which I respectfully told them I do not recall ever receiving, also NO courtesy call was ever attempted.My only 3 options were as follows:Option 1: Red Creek would not charge me for the extra bags that I would accumulate over the next week, meaning that the full bin and 2 bags I already had would need to sit out on the road until the next week. Which is filthy.Option 2: Red Creek would send out a truck to get the trash (that they just drove right past) for an additional $30. They then tried to haggle me down to $20. The following day I spoke with the owner whom refused any kind of mutual resolution including not even offering the $20 truck as previously stated.(My personal option and choice) Option 3: I explained to Eric ( Who I believe is the owner) I am not 100% sure on the name as I was slightly distracted dealing with this while I was a work, that I would like to continue using their service, however I do not believe that is was fair to ask for any additional money when they couldve grabbed it the day they drove by it. Being that I only owed them a measly $38. Speaking with the owner offering to pay immediately if they would come out to get my trash, nonetheless that got me nowhere. I then canceled my service and told them I wanted their bin off my property TODAY.Funny enough they can come pick up the trash today the day of cancelation, but are unwilling to waive the $30 Fee for an extra truck to keep a lifelong customer. So I immediately called another trash service company and now have new service, which I am guessing by the way Red Creek Waste decided to deal with this situation I am confident I will have overall better service.Extra thoughts: There is a lot more detail to this incident. I am just burnt out from dealing with this, I dont feel like going into greater detail. I hope for anyone whos made it this far into my rant it will help you in choosing the right company for you.Best of Luck!

2021-06-08I used this service for a few months for trash and recycling. If you’re just looking for a trash company then it’s not that bad. They come on the same day, never missed. They do have decent discounts for when you do a year but they also charge super high for service in general. I canceled my service 4 months after starting it and they said they would send a check with the balance. It has now been 5.5 months of me calling and emailing and all they say is “we will call you back” “sorry for the delay, I will check on this for you and call you back” these people don’t have their stuff together and need to have better costumer service. Don’t recommend, there are better companies near by.

2021-06-05Had to contact the office 5 times to get the remainder of my money back after having to end service due to a move. The first few times I called I was assured the check would be in the mail then the last couple times after a four month time period I was told they would check into it finally after 4 months of dealing with this they sent a check that was less than the amount the kept telling me I was getting back. Shady customer service.

2020-11-27We have been with RedcreekWaste for many years now. They were the only company at the time who would service the outskirts of the City of Lowell. We have 2 large containers, 1for trash and 1 for recycling. We have sat back and watched our prices go up and up year after year and have not complained. Making our payments on time we were happy to support a local company run out of Alto. Then 2020 happened. It’s been a hard year on EVERYONE. And for the 1st time ever I forgot to put my trash and recycles out. It was a delayed pick up due to Thanksgiving and I had completely forgot. Running out in my pjs at 6:55 am on Friday I set my cans out only to have them pull away and fly up the street.(I was not the only one who forgot. No one else but one lonesome neighbor had their containers out) I called the company right away and left a voicemail. Upon returning my call all they could offer me was for the driver to return later in the day with a $30 fee attached to that ticket. And I just can’t help but think after being such a loyal customer (5years)that they couldn’t even waive the fee. So now I roll into a months worth of recycling and two weeks worth of trash that I will be setting out by the road. I am also the one responsible for finding containers to put my month worth of recycling in. (We are heavy recyclers) Hopefully we don’t have wind! I am very disappointed in this company right now, and we don’t have many options outside of them and they know it.

2020-10-27On more than one occasion they have missed our trash pick up. This last time we put it out the night before so there was no excuse. Being a family of 4 with 2 more people over the majority of the week the trash fills up rather quickly. We called them to see what was going on and they couldnt give us a good reason and just told us they would look out for it next week. I understand people/businesses make mistakes but they didnt even attempt to make it right. To me it sounds like they dont value their customers and we will be switching to a different trash company real soon.

2019-03-10I am rating them before service has even started. I just moved to the area and called Red Creek for my trash removal. I paid my 3 months, as required when starting. The money was taken from my account before I even hung up. That was first thing Monday morning. Its now 7 days later, and I still dont have my dumpster. Got the run around all week with when they are delivering it. Everyday, delivery will be the next day, Still waiting. I explained that I have trash building up, doesnt matter. Trash is suppose to be picked up Wedneaday. The way were starting out, Im not holding my breath on that happening either. Call around and read the reviews before ordering service through them, I wish I had!!!
