Recently had a 1000 gallon tank pumped and the staff person who came was on time, professional, and answered all my questions. I appreciated very much that they call when they are on their way with an approximated time that they are out. This is much better than the companies that just give you a 2 hour window and your standing around wondering when they might show up. very impressed with the service.
Halls Septic was supposed to pump our trailers tank at the fair. They didnt do it, so I called the company. The woman on the phone was sp rude. She kept trying to talk over top of me, interrupt me, and didnt even want to listen to what I had to say. She actually ended up hanging up on me when I was trying to explain the situation. I couldnt believe how rude she was. They still kept our money even though they didnt do their job. We werent the only ones who had issues with them pumping our trailers at the fairground. Shame on you Halls. Your a local business. You shouldnt treat your customers so terribly. :(We were in the camper when you started, but left for the day down to the barns to show the animals and do what we came to do at fair whole you were working on the trailer. We didnt realize we had to stay at the trailer and make sure that things were completed properly. When we discovered that it wasnt pumped it was late in the day. You were closed both Saturday and Sunday so we couldnt express our concerns or have you come back out. My husband had to empty it and had no issue doing so, so we know nothing was stuck up in there. I called you the first day I had available during your business hours as we have to work, and were not able to call you sooner. I did try calling both Friday and saturday but you were closed. These guys work so hard, especially at the Barry County Fair with portajohn rentals and camper pumpings!! Support your local companies!
I can only speak highly of this company. Due to a 3 rain fall we had water back up in our basement for the first time in 33 years of living in this residence. I called Halls in an emergency situation. We had never been their customer. They traveled the 30-odd miles to our home within hours and pumped our two tanks (in the rain). Problem solved.Their courtesy and great customer service are second to none!
Horrible business ethics. I was out of their normal service area but they agreed to come out and set up an appointment 4-5 days out. The day of the appointment they never showed OR called. We called them back and they said they werent coming because of the distance. First, they should have called right away; second, can you imagine having septic backup problems for 4-5 days and then find out they were never going to come out at all! We will not ever call this company again!

We lost our ability to drain at 8pm. At 8 am the next day I called for someone to come out and check our tank. Chad was here by 930am and had the problem fixed and the drains functioning by 1030am. Friendly service and great troubleshooting.
They were very prompt in performing the service. The technician performed his duties while simultaneously educating me on the how to properly care for my septic system. I highly recommend their services.
I ordered a portable toilet with this company for an event that we were putting on. We had some very important people(atleast to us)at the event. Well, needless to say by reading the other reviews, the units never showed up. I was extremely embarrassed by this unfortunate turn of events, and just want to do my part by warning everyone to not use this company. I do not like giving bad reviews, but I felt compelled to in this case. I hope you all will take heed and go elsewhere for your portable needs.
These people charge $85 to come out to look at the yard and give an estmate, they take it off the price of the job if they get it, your out $85 if u dont go with them
I recommend Halls septic to everyone! They do a very efficient job at the Barry County Fair and are extremely organized in handling 200+ campers for an entire week!

Same day service. I was having any issue with backups. Got a same day appointment. I dug up the main lid for a pumping and diagnosing of the situation I was dealing with. Service technician wanted to make sure everything was on the up and up. He dug up the other lid which I didnt know I even had. Cleared the toilet paper rectangle creating out issue and was in and out in an hour tops. Even calling ahead of time to make sure it was okay if he was a bit early. I will not call anyone else. From the front desk to the service that you NEED, these folks are trustworthy in getting your needs met, Chad gave a courtesy call on time, clean as they can make it cleanning out our septic tank, driving onto your yard. Flat out no holds barred theyll give you GREAT customer service without an attitude even with ALL my new customer questions at a good fair price for doing what you cant or dont wanna do. I found my tank by being informed that you can save money by digging/finding the lids up yourself, when does a company inform a customer that you can help yourself and them out too, so they can be on their way to the next customer in their workday that could be you !!!!I recommend Halls septic service to anyone, Chad was professional from the courtesy call to the time he had accomplished the task at hand !!!!!Thank you kindly to Halls, I would recommend them anytime to anyone !!!!

2022-02-03We used Halls Septic Feb 3rd 2022 and the gentleman that came to empty our septic did a great job. Very professional and tried to help in anyway with the drain also acting clogged. Everything is working great now. We will definitely be using Halls again in the future. Thank you!

2021-07-27These guys are the best! Had my septic alarm go off on a Monday night. Called Tuesday morning and they were to my house by 10am. The technician, chad, was very knowledgeable and explained everything that was going on with my tank. Got me all fixed up and pumped for a very fair and reasonable rate. Would recommend to anyone for any septic service!

2021-07-23Had to call after-hours due to sewage coming into my shower drain. The technician arrived quickly and serviced my septic tank. The technician was extremely profession despite being after hours. The technician was informative and provided tips for maintaining the tank in the future. I was extremely impressed with the speed of service, quality of staff, and courteousness while at my home. This company has a new customer for life and I will recommend them going forward.

2020-12-07I had halls septic out today to have my septic pumped and they did a great job!!From the initial call to Halls the lady on the phone was very courteous and was informative and scheduled to have my septic pumped in a faster time then I would imagine. The driver that came out I forget his name but he was very polite answered all my questions and did not make a mess.I would highly recommend Halls to have your septic pumped.

2020-09-26I had my septic tanks pumped last week and Chad was friendly and helpful, answering questions he probably hears 30 times a week. I was only able to locate a lid for one of the tanks (I wasnt even sure if I had one or two tanks). Chad was able to quickly determine where the other lid was and I dug it up while he pumped the first tank. This saved me a dig fee! I will be using them next time I need to have the tanks pumped.

2019-11-23We had an emergency septic backup. They fit us into their schedule the same day we called. Theyre customer service was great, once the job was done, he stayed to make sure everything was running smoothly again. They are very knowledgeable and very reasonably priced as well. We will definitely call them again in the future for any of our needs

2021-02-05Halls came right away! We were in middle of snow storm and we live far away from their home base and we had a BACKUP! We were a mess here! Chad and Luke came first thing next day! 2019-04-22Called for septic tank services prior to selling home. Office staff professional and services scheduled and carried out within 4 days. This kind of service is hard to find. Would like to thank Ryan my technician for going over and beyond. With his inspection he saved me a lift pump from burning out, extra electricity and loaned me a screwdriver to fix a simple, but otherwise expensive plumbing fee. Thanks Ryan and thanks to Halls Septic for supporting genuine employees like him.
