Hals is a good place to take your car to. They fix whats wrong and they dont try to talk you into other stuff that you dont need done. They have a 23 point inspection where they check all your fluids, your tires , batteries, your front ends, electrical system everything all for $44.00 or so.
I was stranded on a Sunday evening due to my vehicle over heating. It was recommended from some people helping me to have it towed to Hals. My car was diagnosed, fixed by early afternoon on Monday. The service was fast and professional. I have received several follow up text about my repairs and my satisfaction with their work. I would highly recommend them!
These guys were super friendly and didnt mind me bringing my kids in we felt completely comfortable :-) I was shocked to find out my car only needed an alignment and super grateful because I was expecting much worse. They have almost the best price on alignments around here maybe more expensive by $5 but they were able to get me in and out quickly where the cheaper place didnt have any availability today. I will be back next time I need some help with my car.
The price is pretty high for labor and they keep your car for a long time. I was told when I used them that they would start that day and should finish up but they had it for a week so I needed a rental. I spoke with Scott to see if I could get an AC recharge and he said hed get me in today but when I called they said to drop it off and they will not touch it until tomorrow. I just dont appreciate the lack of communication and the amount of time it takes.
Quality service and friendly, informative employees. This visit was for an oil change, and while there I asked that they look at one of my tires that had low air pressure 3 times in the three weeks prior to my visit. I hadnt been able to find a nail or screw but was hoping they could at least figure out the problem. During the oil change, they found a screw in that tire and went ahead and fixed it for me. As usual they rotated the tires (part of the oil change service), and then let me know where they moved the repaired tire to.Ive been bringing my vehicles here for almost 3 years and the service continues to great (and quick).I highly recommend Hals Auto Clinic!
Service is good but they are overpricing the spares parts .Hal’s technician diagnosed and said that alternator and tensioner assembly needs to be replaced .They had a quotation and I said yes but later when Iam back to home and compared prices of spare parts with online I noticed that Hal’s guys charged more than the online cost .The cost of spare parts were overpriced and that too they used remanufactured parts. The same spare parts when I search on Amazon Iam getting same part and same brand for $50 to $70 lesser.I went there by friends reference and even they have good reviews in this sorroundings and finally I realize that these guys are overpriced on spare parts.
Scott & Hal’s Auto Clinic were absolutely wonderful! After a debacle with the local Chevy dealership, Scott and the team were able to take me in right away and went above and beyond during the whole process to ensure my car would be safe on the road! They definitely have my business moving forward and I’ll be recommending them to everyone in the area!
Been going to Hals Auto Clinic for at least four years now to get my car fixed at least four or five times now. Every time very professional and every time the customer service is the best. Someone needs to give scott who helps out with orders over the phone a raise because he went above and beyond to make sure that my car is serviced and towed correctly.
I have been using Hals service group for over 20 years. I have always been very satisfied with the service, professionalism and workmanship. I know that even when I ask for a simple oil change the mechanics do a complete and through check of the vehicle. Recently, they found that my battery needed to be replaced and a small transmission fitting leak. Both would have been a major problem had I been on a trip and either or both had failed while out of town. Hals has been the only mechanics working on my vehicles and my wifes and sons vehicles. Prices are very fair and reasonable. I also find that the staff is pleasant and honest. I would recommend Hals to anyone needing car repair.
Hal’s swapped three power door lock actuators on my vehicle. The manager’s estimate was competitive and they got me booked for a day of my choice. I admit that I was hesitant leaving my vehicle with an auto repair shop to perform delicate interior work, but at half the cost of the dealership estimate, I decided to go for it. Thankfully, everything worked out and the replacement door locks are working great. Even when one item needed a bit more attention, they were upfront and ultimately made sure I was satisfied with the outcome. While Ill always grumble about car repairs, its nice peace of mind to know that these guys are just around the corner.
Hal’s is fantastic, we used to go to a different shop where we knew the manager but he moved on in his job and things got questionable there after he was gone so we started searching for a new shop. Now myself as well as my parents take our cars to Hal’s. They’ve earned each of our trust, give us honest information and assessment of our cars needs without pushing premature or unnecessary things. And always give us fair and honest pricing on each of the different services we’ve come in for. Also going out of their way to help us with my car which has over 300,000 miles and needed some particularly unique work on it. I don’t think we’ll take our cars anywhere else again in the Detroit area.
Looking for great work and excellent customer service, go to Hal’s! I was extremely pleased with how quickly my car repair was completed. I’ve been to Hal’s a few times with a family member who always has pleasant experiences so I decided to try for myself. The staff is friendly and professional, and it was nice they even followed up on my repair.
I became aware of Hals after receiving coupons in the mail. I went to get an oil change because my car stated my oil was only at 4%, so I went to Harolds and they told me that the oil changes were by appointment only, but they scheduled me for the next day and the service manager checked my oil as a courtesy to ensure that my engine was not damaged. Oil change was completed in time stated and all of my cars diagnostics were thoroughly reviewed. I will be back because even with an appointment I am in the dealership for 2 or more hours..kudos to Hals Auto Clinic
Ive had to work with Hals on a few occasions. Including small engine repairs and vehicle inspection. Everytime they have been outstandingly courteous and professional. The biggest thing for me was they never upsold on useless repairs like a lot of dealer shops do. Highly recommend.
This place is amazing! I have been looking for a place to take my car where I could trust the mechanics and this is it! It is a little tucked away down Hathaway street near the Sellers dealership, but they do amazing work and I love how they talk to their customers. Bill, Scott and Mary are amazing at the front desk and make sure their customers are happy. They seem to have a lot of repeat and long time customers as well.
I called because I thought I needed a new muffler. They were able to get me in on my lunch hour. After sitting inside, the mechanic who had looked at it said that my muffler was fine but the underside of my car had gotten a layer of ice, which was causing the noise. It melted while in their garage. He told me if it happened again I could bring my car in and let it thaw over night. They didnt charge me, just said to come back when I needed work done. Very nice, accommodating, professional. I will definitely be back!
I bought a lemon a few years ago and had belle tire pour thousands into problems it didnt have. Out of frustration I turned to Hals and they had the car running smooth as it could for a fraction of the price. I recently took my jeep in because my heat broke and a few other issues. It was a pretty extensive job labor wise but I trust these guys. Needless to say when I got the jeep back it not only pumps heat like a furnace (hallelujah!) but after a tune up and repairs it feels like new again. Theyre always really friendly and understanding, but what I really appreciate is that they always remain transparent and up front about exactly what they view of the repair, how much it will cost, and how much it will take. Every other place Ive gone claims to look at it later that day and end up finally getting back days later to let you know they need your vehicle for weeks longer.Anyways, thanks for taking care of my jeep guys. I appreciate the work.
Ive had two experiences with these guys and both were terrible. Yes, their customer service is great, and there are very nice and friendly. But I didnt go there for warm, fuzzy feelings - I went there to get my car fixed. The first time was an insurance claim because some debris on the road cracked my radiator. They worked with the insurance company, and everything was handled very fast and clean. The problem started as soon as I left because I heard a crunching noise when Id hit a bump. I took it back, the mechanic listened to it, and he confirmed that he heard the noise. I dropped it back off with them, and they never could find the problem. It took me about 2 minutes in a snowy parking lot to find where they did not put the fender lining in correctly and it was hitting the suspension. I wouldnt care so much that they screwed up the first time, but its the fact that the confirmed there was a problem and then didnt even try to fix it that bothered me.Given their great reviews, I tried them again when I need my front brakes swapped out. I supplied the parts, but I just needed labor. They quoted me over $200 just for the labor on just the front brakes! Finding this to be ridiculous, I called Sellers and they agreed to do it for $65. Much more like it since it is about a half hour job. The guy at Hals told me good luck and that he figured they were about to rip me off. I told him it was okay; they could rip me off 3x and Id still walk out cheaper! Well, they didnt charge me any different from the quote. 2,000 miles later and my brakes still work, and my fender liner is now in place.I have no idea how they run a business like this other than the fact that theyve been sending me coupons like crazy and they smile really nicely while they rob you blind.
I love this place, Ive taken my dead car to the Chrysler dealership across the street and they tried to screw me up. I had a feeling about what could be wrong with my car. I called Hals Auto Clinic and asked if they would do exactly what I requested (Replace dead battery and Flash PCM) They said yes. I towed the car to them, they fixed it next day. The price was very reasonable, very customer friendly, and they seem to be honest in their business. I highly recommend their services. Shout of to Scott.
Once again, great service and quality work from Hals Auto Clinic. I always take my car to Hals, not only for the great service, but because I have complete confidence in the work they do. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the work has always held up. I have never had to take my vehicle back for a re-do. I highly recommend Hals to anyone who has a car!
If you are looking for car specialist to look after you and your family’s car this is the place for you. I moved half way across the country and had some serious car issues. Bill and the staff were able to diagnose and solve my issues in a timely fashion. Bill has also gone out of his way on numerous occasions to assist with similar issues at no cost, building relationships and trust the honest way. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to have a reliable trustworthy shop to care for your car. I can’t stress enough how amazing Bill is and how he treats his customers with time and consideration.
Hals is the only place that I bring my older vehicle to. I do not trust anyone else, especially those quick-fix-it shops that wont fix anything if they cant figure it out in 5 minutes. Hals always takes the time to explain everything to me prior to the repair and they do not try to sell those extras that I dont need. Ive been using them for the past 4 to 5 years and I will continue to use them for all of my vehicles. Simple, honest work that is not overpriced.
I have been taking every car in my family to Hals for 14 years. The team is outstanding! They are thorough, they price fairly, they help me catch issues when theyre minor to prevent them from becoming major. They treat these cars like they are maintaining them for their own loved ones. Cant say enough good things about Hal, Bill and everyone!
The first thing I noticed about Hal’s Auto Clinic was their honesty. Before I was ever a customer, I received valuable advice from one of the experienced employees named Bill. The information that he offered; saved me a ton of money ... This in return contributed to me coming back. I would sum up Hal’s Auto Clinic by saying “They are committed to customer satisfaction”! It’s very simple, I am a customer for life, and If you can appreciate honesty; you will be also!
I had an overall positive experience. I had them to inspect couple of Car issues along with an oil change. Please note that they charge for the diagnosis and they were upfront in saying that. This diagnosis charge can later be adjusted in parts and labor if we decide to take up the repair work.Out of the two issues reported, one was minor (Stiff shift lever) so they were kind enough to waive the fee.The manager Bill was every detailed in explaining the diagnosis performed and the required maintenance in future. Good job Bill! This is why i rated 4 stars. For a bill greater than $100, I expected my car to be washed, which was not the case.I would recommend this place and will do repeat business in future.
Ive been going to Hals for five years because it was recommended to me by more than one person when I moved to the area and started looking for a new shop. Ive never had a bad experience yet! Bill and the rest of the people in the office are always courteous and always treat me with respect, which I appreciate as a young woman who comes from a family of gear heads. They explain issues plainly and answer my questions honestly.
Just took my daughters Pathfinder in for some engine work. Hals found a bad injector was causing the poor running condition. They replaced the injector and gave the car a tune up. During the inspection, they noticed a major oil leak, but only while the car was running. Turned out to be the seals for the oil cooler. Everything was repaired in 2 days and my daughter had the car back for an appointment she had the following morning. Charges actually came in a little less than I expected, too. Great place. I use them all the time.
Honest, reliable service -- I know I can always count on Hals to do the job right the first time. The staff is super friendly, they have an accommodating shuttle, and youll never be pressured or swindled into additional work. I genuinely recommend Hals to any looking for a top-notch job on their car.
Ive known Hals for 20 years. They are the best when it comes to diagnosing and fixing my vehicles. I really appreciate Bill and the crew in Farmington. Theyve helped my family many times over the years to get fixed and back on the road quickly. I highly recommend Hals to get your vehicle fixed right.
I took an old Suburban with 235,000 miles on it for some brake work. I suspected there would be lots of other problems. They did a very comprehensive inspection and found lots of things that needed repair. We had a great discussion on each of the repairs to help me decide what all to repair. We even went out to the lift and they showed me some of their concerns on the vehicle. They were first class all the way. I selected what items I wanted to fix and they did a perfect job fixing the items. They deserve 5 stars each time I have been there.
I went to show a small rattle sound from rear bottom of car. For diagnosis they took 35 dollars and told to replace Gas tank strap and shield which will cost $530. I asked is there any way to repair, instead of replace. They told its not possible. I went to other shop and they repaired for just $45. This guys only know to replace, doesnt know how to repair. Same as dealers, but they charge more than the dealers. If its that much issue for safety, cannot replace 3 rusted bolts, instead of complete replacement, then Toyota need to redesign the same with more safety features, so that it should not rust or its should hold even after the rusted bolts out. Or need to give free the shield.
Good people that know what theyre doing. Ive been told (on different occasions) that I didnt need a specific service performed and (the inverse) that the service my car requires couldnt be performed at their clinic. I buy cars to last and Hals understands that by doing what they can to extend my cars life. I cant say enough positive things without sounding like a troll. Check em out. See for yourself.
Took my SUV in for suspected transmission problems, and the next days I received a call from Hals advising that I did have a transmission issue, but they felt that since the vehicle had under 100,000 miles, likely it would be covered under warranty. I contacted a GM dealership and learned that I was entitled to a new transmission free of charge. While at Hals, they were professional/courteous, and most importantly, honest. If they didnt mention the warranty, I would have allowed them to proceed with replacing my transmission. I will take my car to them in the future for all my needs. Thank You Hals.
First and foremost, everyone was so welcoming! I made an appointment and got my service done the same day. Yes, went in for 2 things, but it was recommended to have one more thing done (per expected), but I was fully informed why it was needed; I was even told what I could wait on. Now thats great service!
Seeing the reviews, I had taken my car for a front brake issue to Hals Autoclinic. I was quoted a sum of $480 for front rotors and pads which I declined, and was eventually charged $50 for a visual inspection of the brakes! Possibly these indeed are their rates but I fail to understand the reasonable prices mentioned in the other reviews.Edit: Updating with the Repair Order Number as requested: 0106816
Took my Mazda CX-9 there because it was making some loud grinding noises. My car was diagnosed, T-case was replaced among some other stuff, it was not cheap, but I was already expecting that, replacing a T-case unit wont be cheap anywhere. Overall I am extremely happy with the service, Bill showed me the old transfer case and pictures of the faulty components. They told me every single thing that was done to my vehicle and delivered on time. I recommend this place to anyone trying to find an outstanding and honest mechanical shop.
Any car trouble me or my wife has we always go to Hal’s. You call in and Mary answers the phone with super kind voice with no exceptions,Bill and Scott are always there to help you out with whatever issue you have and Scott always checks in which you after the repair just to make sure everything is working fine. You just won’t find a better place than this!
I have had basic service and a little more complicated service completed on my car at Hals and every time their customer service, attention to detail and professionalism have been the best. Thank you for providing quality service, it is rare these days and we really appreciate it. Keep it up!
I was with my son when he brought a 2008 Jeep Liberty in to be repaired (we came based on reviews) on Friday, May 11th. The young lady taking his information was very polite and helpful. However, because my 21 year old son has a device on his car..she needed to ask the Manager about working on it. The Manager was extremely rude and said “ none of my guys will touch that car” and “ good luck finding someone that will”!! My son is a recovering addict and is just shy of his 1 year anniversary of being clean and sober. We live in this area, he is in drug court in Novi and I will be shouting to the tree tops about how humiliating they made him feel...and I was there to witness it. Shame on you “The Manager” I was too angry to look at your name tag..I hope and pray you never have to go through what my son has...but he is a much more caring person than you could ever hope to be!!!He let his P.O. know so they can tell people to stay away from this shop.By the way, I bought my Jeep from Suburban and since we were so close..I called them and they went the EXTRA MILE to make up for your rudeness..and had us in and out within an hour and a half... but more Importantly, with Dignity. I believe Brad in service and Brian my salesman said...Everyone makes mistakes. I hope you sir learn a lesson in compassion!PS I WISH I COULD HAVE REVIEWED A ZERO
After an Oil change yesterday which took around 8 hours(which is fine as they only do certain # of oil change/day).But they forgot to even put an Oil Change sticker which i had to remind them. BTW I still have my old oil change sticker as they didnt peel it off. They even did not reset my Odometer Oil life % gauge , again had to remind them for that.I went there with a lot of expectations.I am changing my rating to 4 as I spoke to owner and he seems to be a really nice guy and wants to take care of his customers...
The Interstate Battery installed by Hals Auto Clinic had failed after 2 years. I did not want another Interstate or Motorcraft battery (both from Johnson Controls, both junk) installed in my vehicle. Bill told me those were my only choices Hals would offer, and that in addition to paying the difference between the cost and pro-ration of the new battery, Id have to pay installation. So I went to the place Ive been buying batteries for 20 years, Discount Battery, and bought a new Deka battery for $136 installed. Its the only brand of battery Ill put in my vehicles. That failure to deliver the product I wanted, cost me quite a bit of money and cost Hals a customer. In reply: I heard the same defense of Interstate when I was in. Hals experience with Interstate wasnt the point then and isnt the point now. I had bad experiences with both brands of batteries Hals offered, and I wanted the product I named. Im the customer, Im paying for it, and the customer is always right. As for roadside service, its covered by my insurance. In 45 years of driving Ive never even thought of calling a repair shop or battery manufacturer for roadside assistance. Hals insistence of defending the indefensible was another reason Ive taken my business elsewhere. The right answer would have been, How can we make this right?
Hals repaired the air suspension system on my GM.SUV. Some auto repair facilities are reluctant to work on these systems because their problems can be difficult to diagnose and parts availability is limited. Hals did an outstanding job. The system works as good as when it was new.
Ive been taking my vehicle here for a few years now. They are not a place you accidentally find while driving around as they are off the beaten path. I discovered them through one of their direct mail campaigns. They almost always have an oil change special that includes semi-synthetic oil, filter, new anco wiper blades and a brief consultation on any concerns with your vehicle. If they discover something they provide an honest/decent quote for the repair and typically provide a discount if the extra work is done on the same visit as the oil change. Ill continue to take my cars here for service.
I flew in from Miami to help move my wonderful mother (with Alzheimers) down to live with me in Miami. She resisted flying and wanted me to drive her down in her 2002 Volvo S60. The car has 182,000 miles on it, but Ive learned that folks with this condition like things that are very familiar to them. OK mom, Ill drive you down. Now, the problem is how to get it safe for the drive.?!Over the years, dealerships have preyed on my independent working mom replacing everything and anything they possibly can. Since I used to monkey around on cars when I was a teenager, this really upsets me. The problem is living 2,000 miles away...I would usually find out AFTER the fact.Yesterday, I spent considerable time doing research and came across Hals. I spoke with Scott on the phone and told them, I dont want to spend much on this throwaway car, but I want to get mom there safely. They did a full inspection of the car & confirmed mechanical things I already knew about her baby (went over all her receipts first) in an honest and straightforward way. We only found one suspension issue that needed to be fixed. It was done the same day since we have lots of errands to run including paying her property tax (which she has forgotten).Final outcome: The car drives noticeably better with a feeling of confidence we can make it to Miami without worry.I walked out happy with a healthy respect for the integrity of this garage. I cant recommend them highly enough.PS Want some icing on this cake? I took Lyft there to pick it up. The driver said, Oh, I remember...they are in the back of this building. Ive taken my car here too and love these guys. Wouldnt take it anywhere else. Its unreal how much I miss the Midwest sometimes:))
I took in my car to get a correct diagnosis for my cars engine light. They gave me a wrong diagnosis after I asked to confirm twice and that I dont want to pay for another service if they got the wrong diagnosis. They serviced the wrong part , I had to come back because my engine light came back on the same day. They quoted me another $500 for the orignial problem that was a quick DIY project for a part that cost $175. I had to pay a diagnostic fee for something they messed up on the first time. The workers scam and dont respect the prepared knowledge of their customers. Dont be fooled by the reviews that they fish for with a sign on their front desk.
Id have to say that Hals has the most HONEST mechanics of any auto clinic/mechanic Ive ever been to. My wife and I have been taking our cars to Hals now for close to ten years and have had nothing but good experiences there. I highly recommend Hals Auto Clinic-Farmington Hills.
Hals is a ripoff. He charges $80 just to diagnose a problem and when you look at what you pay there, youd be far better off taking it to Sellers for repairs. Youll pay less and wont be stuck with the cheap parts that Hals uses on your car. Sellers uses better parts for a lower cost. Stay away from Hals.
I had been getting my routine oil changes at the dealership. However, three times in a row they overfilled my oil by about 2/3 of a quart. So, I decided to try Hals. It was the best decision I could have made. When I pulled the dip stick this morning, the oil level was spot on. Also, my tire pressures, which had been overinflated by the dealership by at least 4 psi, were also spot on. Hals has a new customer for life.
I have been coming to Hals for over five and never been disappointed. Upon taking my 11 yr.Volvo for routine maintenance to the dealer and informed I needed rear brakes i came to Hals after inspection Bill told me it was not needed at this, the professionalism, intergratity and knowledge of this establishment is outstanding I have and will continue to come and refer friends.
Fast, knowledgeable and efficient. A repair facility with a great work ethic not often found in this day and age. Shuttle service (home and back) is a major PLUS. Simple reasons for all my friends in this area having their repairs (foreign and domestic, gas and diesel) done at Hals
Had some hack back yard mechanic working out of his moms garage install a clutch on my 02 ford focus. Long story short he couldnt bleed the clutch so I took it to Hals and after a few trys they got it to bleed and now its driving like new. Thanks so much for putting the effort into my hoopty lol
I was very dissatisfied with the way my experience was handled. I called in to make an appointment for same day service on two minor fixes that would have taken less than 30 minutes of labor and they said drop it off when they open the following day and I could pick it up at the end of the day. They also said they would call by the afternoon with any updates. I had to call myself at 415 to figure out what was going on since I did not get a call and the guy said he couldnt get to it until the following day. I had to take Ubers to work and back from the shop and would have to do so again if I wanted my work completed which at this point was not cost effective. I had to scramble to figure out an alternative plan which was very frustrating. I did not return on the following day and used a different mechanic.
Took my car to get a starter changed and got my car back leaking oil. Do not go there. My car engine light never came on nor did my car ever leak oil. My car was returned to me damaged and by the time I figured out it twas my car leaking the oil it was to late to take it back and complain about them damaging my car.
HALS IS A GREAT PLACE TO TAKE YOUR CAR FOR REPAIR. THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL, KIND, VERY COURTEOUS, TRUTHFUL, AND VERY REASONABLE. THEY WILL WORK WITH YOU AND NOT AGAINST YOU, I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR OVER 5 YEARS AND I TRUST THEM ! THEY HAVE GONE OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HELP ME AND RETURNED THE VEHICLE BACK ON TIME AND CLEAN.1
I made an appointment 4 days in advance to get 4 tire had to wait 2 hours which is reeeeediculus when given appointmentI was told my truck has 18 inch tire and are difficult when they were sitting next to truck no one working on them sorry to say I red lots of good reviews 1st time may be last time
Overall good experience. My only issue is that the price to diagnose the problem is sometimes charged extra. If the repair is minor, the price to diagnose the problem is covered in the initial amount. But if you have an expensive repair, adding another 150 for the diagnosis to the final price can really hurt.
No, I think so not great place. Last time I went to company. I discuss how much for one $1,200 price for that Cayatlics. Then he is told me more add for exhausted too high prices for me all for once $2,200. No way. I can’t owe for that. Because I’m Deaf customs never again go to place👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
Hal’s said over $400 for a rear brake job my grandmother went in for an oil changeAlso the parts might cost $70 and I might take 45 minutes at most to do and that’s with me sitting on the floor with jackstands, they have a lift and a heated shop, Labor for shop usually cost $75-$100 an hour Where are their prices coming from

2022-01-10Hal’s Auto Clinic has the kind of service we remember in days gone past. I am a senior living on limited income so they work out a plan for my repairs to include what’s necessary to be fixed now and what I can wait on in order to save for the repairs. I have a 2008 vehicle with over 150K miles on it so that’s important for me. You will always be greeted with a smile and you can be assured they’ll take good care of you and your vehicle!

2022-05-13I am an immigrant. Dropped off this car at the store in 2018. I was told I would be given my car back by next day.Delayed me by more than a day , when I asked to give me my keys back so I can take car to another store , the front counter girl quickly took the receipt given to me ,went and came back with a dude and told me they dont have my keys. The dude literally threatened me and said that I cant prove anyone I gave them the car without my receipt.yup...he literally raised his voice and talked to me in a rude, condescending , bullying style.Back then , I should have called the cops. I hope the guy who took my keys and bullied me is still working there. Even today, I just have one key.About to go there to see if they willing to talkDear rep, if you see this review , are you willing to talk and get my key back ?

2022-01-03Took 2018 Ecosport in to diagnose issue with car not heating up properly. Received a call from Brandon that issue with thermostat and coolant pump which are covered under warranty until 60k miles. Brandon even called a friend at the Ford dealership to confirm. In addition, they didnt charge me for the diagnosis! Will take all my repair need to Hals in the future. They go above and beyond. Thanks again Brandon!

2022-05-06Diagnostic testing is a joke! They charged me $300 to look under my car and tell me tie rod and ball joints were bad, then wouldn’t apply the cost to the repairs! Very overpriced

2021-10-01I bought a 2006 Ford F150. I brought my truck to Hal’s to have an oil leak fixed. The guys at Hal’s told me that I needed a frame because it was rusted out. The truck was my new toy, so I was devastated to find out it needed a frame. Bill and Scott got on the phone and found me a new frame for my truck. I was so happy. The guys at Hal’s put their blood, sweat and tears in my truck; as if it were their own. What can I say these guys are great! With the rising cost of everything, it’s so nice to find an ”honest Joe,” like Hal’s. Do you have unexpected repairs, but don’t really trust anybody? Then look no further, Hal’s Auto Clinic in Farmington Hills will take care of you. They will not let you down. You will not be disappointed. They’re dependable, hard working with honest pricing. Bill, Scott and the rest of the crew, I can’t thank you enough for making my F150 run like new money.

2021-08-10Scott is straight forward and very helpful with any questions Ive ever had regarding my vehicles. Its comforting to know that he and the business will work with you and your best interests in mind. Scott is very knowledgeable and will make sure you and youre family are taken care of! He is a family man first, and an amazing mechanic secondly.

2021-03-02First of all the manager, Scott, is absolutely amazing. He’s very warm and welcoming. Extremely professional and down to earth. He was very helpful when accessing my vehicles need. He was honest and even told me that I may not need a brake change because I had not been experiencing symptoms. I still insisted that he check so that my mind be put at ease. They were upfront about pricing and even provided a shuttle service to and from home while working on my vehicle! They have a customer forLife.
