2019-06-28The store has been in the community for years and the owner has not adjusted his prices. The community has changed as it relates to homeowners and income levels. With that being said, the store prices are extremely high and the parking lot needs to be resurfaced asap. Beyond ludicrous the shape of this parking lot. I dont see other True Value stores parking lots looking that this one in Detroit. There are a few in Detroit. This was only my 3rd time in store for reason stated but my husband was a faithful customers until last year. I convinced him to stop patronizing them if theyre going to continue with the high prices and ragged parking lot. I do agree with another customers that store is convenient, but I believe the owner is taking advantage of that! I hope to see some changes and maybe we will return as customers.
