Honestly one of the worst places I’ve lived and I’ve been all over Wayne county staff violating privacy all the time, staff in the office so disrespectful and I was mind blown when this lady started going off on me for being in the right because she couldn’t keep up with the conversation idk 🤷♂️ Just not the place to live way overpriced WAYYY OVERPRICED
We have lived here for the past 4 years and it’s been a great place to live and raise our little family. The buildings and grounds are clean and well kept. The apartments are nice and spacious. The Staff have been wonderful to us and maintenance has gone above and beyond anytime we needed anything. They really do a great job of making this place feel like a community. On a side note I am a delivery driver and frequent other apartment complexes in the area often. Hampton Court stands well above the rest. If you are looking for an apartment in Westland you will not find a better place to live.
Everyone and everything is peachy until the day you move out . Exaggerated charges such as a coupon sitting in a drawer will cost you 25 for trash , but nothing is mentioned about the large clock that was left accidentally. I thought we had a good solid understanding with management because my late husband was employed with Beacon Management but this wasn’t the case at all . 150.00 in charges to move out over frivolous items. For the record all those who questioned my husband abilities he had cancer which traveled to his brain so sorry Sam if the caulking wasn’t up to your standard . Besides that if your used to smelling pot and lots of partying in the lots go ahead and move in.
I’ve been here for 2 months and I had issue with my Frigidaire which they replaced but ended up replacing it with another one with scratches all on the front of it.Each and every window has mold on it and the ceiling leak. The mold has made me and my son sick and I had to see a doctor for the effects the mold had on my health. The welcome center associates are extremely rude and talk over you when you call for help.My main entry door to my building is close to falling off because it’s constantly slams against the frame when people enter in and out the building. The washer in dryer room stays flooded. And my shower water hasn’t been hot since I’ve moved in. I’m charged a water bill but have cold water.I feel unsafe and my health is at risk with the low maintenance of this apartment. It’s crazy how they expect you to pay rent every month but take their time to fix things.
Its a nice place too live. the staff is friendly and property is maintained well. would give more stars but the clinic in front of the complex has protestors out with megaphones every weekend. its not fun having people run up to your car with signs when your trying to leave the complex. I wish something could be done about this.
Make sure to live in the 3rd floor. Otherwise you will hear everything your neighbor does above you. You will hear every footstep they take and almost every word they say. The property has smoke free buildings which is great. However, it doesnt get enforced. These apartments aren’t worth the price.
I would not recommend Hampton Court Apartments to anyone. Yes they do have updated apartments but as far as the ones they did not renovate they are terrible. I have been dealing with mold issues from my ceiling leaking for months. My neighbor apartment flooded above me and caused mold on my bathroom ceilings. It got so bad to the point the ceiling corroded and caused my light fixture to come down from the ceiling. I been having the same issue with my ceiling for months. They keep saying the problem is fixed but every time it rain it rains in my apartment as well. They have a friendly staff but I recommend you do a thorough walk through before deciding to move. Everything in my apartment is basically old to the point I opened a door and the closet just came off the henges and fell on my son this place is truly a awful living space and I’m happy to be moving at the end of the month. The unsafe conditions are causing my family to break our lease and move on to a better living space. I’m quite sure when I go to court and the judge sees all my evidence that charges will be dismissed but I’m just giving a heads up to anybody thinking about moving to these apartments. If you want bubblegum fixings this might be the place for you.
I moved here in March, the longer Im here, the more I love it. Samantha & Michelle, Phillip & D, are an awesome staff, every need is met!!! I enjoy the gatherings at the clubhouse, I get to know all my neighbors, pool is always clean, clubhouse is very very nice. I just wish property owners cared more about individual building landscaping, my building has none, as well as other buildings, clubhouse, property entrance and pool area are beautiful. It sure would dress up the property nicely, and it is very much needed.
I moved here in September 2018 and this has been a great experience living here! The staff are so open and welcoming to any needs and concerns and the maintenance are good workers as well! They saved me $300 dollars finding my car key fob!! lol the area is private not much traffic. Close to great restaurants and different amenities. Would recommend this to others to choose as their new homes.
Nice apartment. Generally quiet and well kept. Tons of bugs!!!! When your light goes out they need maintenance to come take the whole fixture out to change (which I’ve been needing for 3 weeks) They NEVER answer the phone but have plenty of time to put notes on your door or remind you that your rent is 1 day late.
There’s been broken glass infront of my building for months which makes it very dangerous for the residents to enter back and forth through the building. The entry door has stains and spots on it from hand prints and traffic in and out the building. The door doesn’t close properly which makes the building even colder in the winter months. They need to analyze the building appearance more and make approvements fast.
UpdateI’ve been here for a year now and let me tell you I still love it. The management and staff are caring, understanding and friendly. I enjoy the events they have which are often. I would like to add that Our management has been instrumental in our choice to still be a part of The Hampton Court Apartment’s Community. Because they really make sure that all our concerns as tenants are met. Thanks for an amazing place to live.I live here love the Management team, awesome environment- little pricey but worth it.
Loved the location, but not so much the residents or rude leasing staff. Leasing staff shared information regarding my file with another tenant, accused me of pet hoarding and I even had to threaten to sue them for harassment. The current manager even made a threatening comment to me because she didnt appreciate how I talked to the leasing agent Donna after she hung up in my face. I had a suitcase stolen from my storage because it had a faulty handle, therefore I couldnt put my lock on it. Maintenance supervisor is nice, but the maintenance repairs are always temporary fixes. This place drove my anxiety up the walls; the fact that I had to complain to the regional manager, requesting that the office staff didnt speak to me unless necessary is ridiculous. They even accused me of paying my rent late when I paid it on time every month for 2yrs then later retracted their statement, giving me a courtesy for otherwise paying on time My neighbors were horrible. The ones across from me fought EVERY NIGHT and the ones next door literally hung their laundry on the rails of the stairs and outside their door. I cant even say the complex is nice anymore because the police have been around frequently at night as well. When I moved in rent was $575/mo so the fact that theyre charging people nearly $700 for a one bedroom now is crazy. This place is filled with rude, incompetent and nasty people. I literally gave it two stars because of the location is so convenient. Just stay somewhere else.
U ever instantly meet people and you’re thinking like damn they’re really nice? We’ll meet the management here😂they are all so funny and sweet I love them already . I always forget what I came in there for because we end up talking about something random🤦🏾♀️ They’re so responsive to any issues and the maintenance guys are so sweet. The apartments are huge and very well kept. Laundry room is right below me and the location of these apartments is PERFECT . Literally Walking distance from everything . I won’t be leaving anytime soon!
Ive never had a problem with this apartment complex. When I moved in, I noticed one of the drawers in the kitchen was not properly secured so it fell. The drawer was fixed the very next day. Staff is friendly. You can hear your neighbors, but then again, you do live in an apartment with people right next to you.
Been living here awhile I have absolutely no complaints. Its an apartment youll hear some noise (Not much to my surprise very well insulated walls and ceiling) I had a couple minor maintenance request upon inspection after move in they were all taken care of promptly and to my satisfaction. Excited to call this place home for awhile!
Ive been living here about 9 years without any major issues except the rent going up. But they do give you a deal if you have been living there for a while. Any thing Ive needed fix has never taken longer than 24hrs. I love that the staff knows me and I trust all of them.
There are many apartment complexes in Westland and Hampton Court is one of the finest. I have found their staff to be very helpful and willing to go above and beyond while always demonstrating the utmost professionalism. The events that are planned and carried out for the benefit of their tenants really show their commitment to providing a genuinely unique community experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an apartment complex a cut above the rest.
Me and my fiance moved here back in November of last year and I must say we are very impressed, so far everything and everyone has been great and very friendly. clean environment and michelle and samantha have been very helpful from the start. Were very happy to call this home
Apartments are nice enough but the leasing manager Michelle is rude and condescending. Over the top with her power trip it seems and she makes being a resident or guest here very unenjoyable. Kicked my kids (elementary school aged) out of the pool on a 90+ degree day because I didnt have their names added to my lease, a technicality and I was a resident. Hard to get good and compete maintenance work done once you move in. Also, smoke from the cigarette smokers comes through the ventilation as though they are in your very own living room. Terrible when you are a nonsmoker. Leading seems to be letting a lot more younger people move in that like to have lots of people over and tend to get noisy but rental office doesnt seem to enforce noise ordinances. Parking is packed and sometimes hard to get a close space to your entrance because tenants have multiple cars and guests take up parking spaces
The maintenance supervisor was very nice and professional whenever I called and needed something fixed he’d show up to get it done, I’ve lived in other apartments where I would request for something that needs to be fixed and it would take weeks to get done or it wouldn’t get fixed at so I can honestly say that I’m very pleased with the way maintenance responds to this community
I lived there for six years. One of the main reasons I picked the place was it was pet friendly. Originally the management was courteous and attentive. I watched year by year the changes dropped that original care they had for residents. The final two years, they dropped their standards, and the newer residents got more ghetto as time went. Along with that managers kept getting swapped out till they finally got some in who were actually hostel to any issues or concerns we had. The attitude built until couldnt stand it. They outsourced every aspect about the property, until they finally had Gonch Towing to verify if a vehicle was abandoned (and therefore towed) from the property. I had a couple of working, registered, insured, and licensed vehicles (a truck and a car) there. I used both, though not daily. The tow company decided since I didnt use my truck every single day, they would tow it. When I went to the office to ask (no yelling or cursing) what was going on, they claimed they had no responsibility here and had a police officer stand there while I asked what was going on? I guess it was to intimidate me in asking why a vehicle, that is registered in the office, was being towed.) I simply left, and called Beacon Management, the parent company. I got a call fromLaura (the Regional Manager), who proceeds to address me as a trouble maker, and how dare I question her manager! I thought after six years, never late on the rent, did the minor repairs (clogged drain, broken blind, shampooed the carpet, etc.) myself, that asking why they had my truck towed, when new residents came in with some if the rusty, broken windshields, and no insurance vehicles Ive ever seen on roads in Michigan, I should be addressed as a trouble maker and need the police to intimidate me from speaking with my landlord, it was time to move. GLADLY. The last act was moving the mail boxesout of the buildings, and on to an exposed, unlit concrete pad that would be a great place to mug someone or worse, if you are a woman, a child, or less than fit to defend oneself. It used to be a great place and convenient location, but lacking management, hostel supervision, a different class of residence (not a racial evaluation, an economic evaluation), and no services, pick them at your own risk.I switched my mail to a PO box around the corner. Even the post office calls two areasthe ghetto: Woodland Apts and Hampton Court Apts.
This place can be a nice place to live given its location and general leniency towards pets but its defenately got huge issues. The biggest of which is the Landlady who replaced the old Landlord a few years ago. Shes unapproachable and just doesnt seem to care about anything. The office is never open reliably, opening late or being closed at seemingly random parts of any given day. No one ever answers the phone even during office hours and the answering machine even still has the old landlords voice on it. They never seem to even check e-mails anymore because no one ever responds to them. If you dont go to the office and confront them face to face then nothing ever gets done and even then youll probably have to do it multiple times. They also never bothered to update the info concerning office hours since everything still says its open on Saturdays even though theyre not. Add onto the fact rent is pretty high and doesnt include any utilities (and goes up every year you renew), the fact the mailboxes are located outside and tend to freeze during the winter, the poor maintenance of the apartments themselves, and the extremely shady types of people living there most of the time (dont be surprised if someone offers to sell you drugs) youre likely better living somewhere else.

2022-04-18My girlfriend and I have lived here for about 3 years and have absolutely loved it. All of the staff that works here are amazing and super helpful. If anything is broken the maintenance team is usually quick to solve it and everyone that works in the office have always been extremely kind and caring towards us. The units are pretty solid and have everything that we needed at the time and the community has always been very kind and respectful in our experience. Great place to live 10/10 would apartment again.

2022-05-31I’m currently in the process of applying, but I have to put 5 stars just off of my phone conversation with Bridgette and Michelle. They were very helpful, understanding, and I’ve lived many places around the Wayne county area — but this is one of the only places that doesn’t have horrible reviews in relation to crime or safety. Give them a shot!
