Clean, family and pet friendly. No worries families with fur babies are not a problem. They are housed on the main floor. Not only that can’t really hear through the walls. LolFairly priced CLEAN rooms. Front desk staff were nice, friendly, and personable. KRISTA!! I have nothing but great things to say about Krista. She went about and beyond for our family. She is absolute sweetheart. She was out fixing the flag. Reminded me what times breakfast was. The biggest stand out was listening and responding with sincerity. I had told her our 3 yr old was having a tough time being away from home. She offered to let me bring her downstairs to get a little energy out to help her sleep. It’s the little things. 💖💖 Thank you to the staff at this hotel for making our family feel welcome.

Hotel is in great location for outlet mall shopping and dining. Hotel needs a big update. Bathtub didnt drain at all and could never get the room at a good temp. (ie. too hot, too cold). No store or restaurant in hotel. Breakfast 4/10. Beds 8/10. Location 9/10. Employees 9/10.
The room was not clean after waiting an extra hour of waiting to check in. Staff was friendly other than the manager who was beyond problematic. Apparently the manager thinks she can ban customers from Hilton hotels. I think Hilton could easily replace that individual before their customers. Just go to the holiday inn, don’t waste your time/energy/money. Pro tip: the only ice machine that works is on the 3rd floor.
Let me start off by saying the room was nice. The tub hadnt been cleaned. I had to clean it before we were able to shower. The pool was nice, but the hot tub could have used a good cleaning. I was charged for the room after pre-paying a month in advance of our stay. When I tried to go to the front desk and explain my problem I was treated like a lier for the first 5 min of our conversation. When I was finally able to explain my issue there was never an apology or anything. Then as I was checking out I witnessed the rudest customer service in life. The assistant manager snapped her 3in long finger nails in a womens face to get her attention. I am not sure how much training these e people are getting but it should definitely be more.
The hotel itself is ok. When I first checked in, one of our rooms was not clean. There was leftover in the room and the Bible was in the refrigerator. However, the lady at the front desk helped to cure the issues. She immediately tried to find us new rooms.The rooms are good. But I will highly recommend anyone to get the even number rooms as odd number rooms are facing highway; it can be very noise at night.The breakfast was mediocre. Eggs, biscuit and gravy, waffle, bagels only. I wish they had sausages, bacon, bread, or muffins. But it is what it is. I especially appreciate the person who was in charged. He really cleaned up after guests left the table.Finally, the lady who checked me out. I wish Hampton Inn will provide her further training, especially the tone and choices of words. When I checked out, I informed her that the room above us has been dancing or moving furnitures until 330am. Instead of being passionate about it, she merely replied that if I did not complain at that time, she could not do anything for me. Again, I merely shared my experience, I did not need her to compensate me. I did not complain because it was Christmas. I understand that people tried to enjoy that day. I merely informed her as hotel will get the notice just in case the guests stay another night and create nuisance to other guests. Her tone and choice of words simply were cold and a turn off for me, additional coaching will provide a better customer experience next time.
Ive stayed here twice in the last 9 days. Hot water issues!! Barley enough to take a shower in. Theyve said at both stays someone is coming to look at it in a few days. Toilet is loose, and bathroom sink faucet is loose. Otherwise a nice clean room. Oh, if you want a waffle you will have to go down the road...they say there is a nation wide shortage.
It was very unclean and outdated. I would say that I was disappointed by the toilet it was running the whole time. Also the fan in the bathroom is weird sounding like it’s almost farting. The hotel is also really must and the walls are dusty. I don’t believe this is a 4 star hotel. Please relying your cleaning strategies and pay attention to maintenance details!
Hotels.com screwed up a large group booking by not actually booking the rooms for our robotics team for the state championship, the staff here was amazing and bent over backwards to help and help find a spot for us even checking with other hotels. I would highly recommend the staff here.
Nice hotel, the room was beautiful! Friendly staff on all shifts. Breakfast was served at the time posted I have no complaints! They even went to my room to look for items I left which I greatly appreciated! If youre in Birch Run for the night this is the place to stay! Sign up for there the reward program too it pays to be a member! I didnt take photos I usually only do that when its bad, but I will get photos the next time Im there.
Not the cleanest hotel. Everything is outdated. Food is alright nothing amazing though. I came here a few months back and there was a super nice girl with blonde hair working the front desk that made our stay great. However I was upset to hear that she no longer works there. The other staff doesn’t seem to be as happy or as informative as she was. I do not believe we will be back.
The staff here decided not to lock the pool door completely, instead propping it open while they shocked the pool. My son went down to swim, opened the door and went in. He was able to swim in a pool that had been shocked within the hour and it took hotel staff 10 minutes to realize what was happening and get him out. We spent the next 30 minutes rinsing him off and hoping he had no chemical burns. We hotel staff were confronted with this, there excused was we are busy and cant keep an eye on everything. Honestly, if that was the case, lock the pool door so no one can get in. Highly unimpressed, will never go back.
I booked 3 rooms for a girls nite trip. The rooms were great. Hot water, clean, able to get close together as booked 1.5 months out online then called hotel so they placed them together.Enjoyed the hot breakfast. Omelet, sausage, waffles you make, oatmeal, juice, coffee.Able to use part of eating area on a Friday night for our girls night games. 13 in party.Beds were comfortable, rooms cool enough to sleep. Had hot showers. Overall great experience and will be back in the future.
The 1st room was dirty, pool was closed for 24 hours, doors did not latch well so you had to slam them to lock them, SO be prepared being woke all night from doors being slammed.The WORST was the SMELL as soon as you walked it. Totally disgusting!!Unfortunately when I booked on line I hit a button that said non refundable. Will never stay here again.
Cleanliness of room, bathroom,lobby and grounds were impeccable. Unfortunately the same attention not given to breakfast . No excuse to be out of waffles and only have scrambled eggs with biscuits and gravy ( looked like wallpaper past. Didnt taste any better. And no normal tea? Only black tea or green teas? Had to buy breakfast elsewhere.
The hotel seems nice but has its issues. My almost 70 year old parents had to stay here for 3 nights while their new house was getting finished. Well on the 3rd night the heat quit working and they woke up to a cool 60 degree room,, then my father went to take a bath and No hot water 😒 then the elevator quit working ( I dont even know why they would put older people on the 2nd floor) After paying over $300 for their stay they only gave them $50. For the inconvenience. My father said after his experience he will NOT be going back
Positive: The location was very convenient and the staff was extremely helpful Negative: Our room actually stunk. It was very strong odor. The carpet was very old and very stained. We could not control the temperature in the room it would not go up or down. The bathroom faucet was very loose and we had trouble latching our door.
Staff was friendly, but the pool was freezing and the hot tub didnt work. I called before booking to see if it was all up and working because our kids really wanted to go swimming. The heat in the room there was no happy medium with it. To get the room to warm up we had to turn it up to 75 and then took all night for the room to warm up. The pillows were horrible the bed was meh.
Not bad. The rooms were clean and the location good. The staff were doing the best they could. However in our room the curtains were broken. The toilet handle was broken. The furniture had damage and was badly repaired. They were short staffed so we just had to live with this during the stay. Also not a bad place to sleep but the amenities are not well cared for or thought out. So pool, breakfast etc. Dont make them a determination for your stay.

2022-03-20Room is cleaned, the family suite is very nice sized, a larger fridge would have been nice. The pool area can use a good cleaning. The hot tub jets arent the greatest. The pool is absolutely freezing cold. Even our 11 and 13 year old said it was too cold and they enjoyed just sitting in the hot tub more. The pool room is ungodly hot and has no ventilation. Our room heat was set to 82 degrees when we entered which is a bit too warm. 72 or so would have been good. Staff were nice and friendly and we would stay again. For a mid-grade hotel its not to bad, the pool area is what needs improvement.

The pool and hot tub were closed but we were called right after we made the reservation to inform us of this and offered a no-charge cancellation, which we very much appreciate. The pool and hot tub would have been nice to use on such a cold winter night but not the reason we chose the hotel. The room was very nice (foot stools for the couch were a nice touch) and the bed was firm and perfect for us. The bathroom needed a bit of maintenance but nothing serious. We also appreciated the hot breakfast options and fresh fruit. The touchless check-in and out was also great. Good value for the money. We will stay again.

2022-06-22We had to make a last minute stop and booked the hotel the same day. The room was spacious and clean. The front desk also provided us with complimentary tooth brush and paste. Pretty decent breakfast too. I would recommend if you are driving by and have to stop for the night.

2022-04-30We had a last minute additional guest, requiring us to need a second room, we were told we would have joined rooms, but one wasnt ready.. after a hour or so.. told that it was not going to be ready due to a maintenance issue and our second room was down the hall, but close.. ok, no worries.. we understood. Then after dinner, we called to check when the pool/hot tub hours were as we wanted to make time for relaxing too.. we were told it wasnt open. When we asked why it wasnt told to us upon arrival, a large argument erupted that had the hotel staff member yelling that she(Ty) was canceling our reservation at 10 pm, stating if no hot tub ruins your trip, ill just cancel your reservation now! after we tried to walk away and stated already that we would be checking out in the morning and going elsewhere. After chasing after us.. we packed quickly, and exited immediately. I am a Hilton Diamond member, and have never been so disrespected in my life. Go to the Holiday Inn across the street.. pool and hot tub were open, food was amazing, and THE STAFF WERE NICE!

2022-02-07Positive: Standard room, easy on and off location, close to outlet and not far from downtown Frankenmuth. Very friendly staff, clean room, clean hotel, nice breakfast and good coffee all day. Negative: We had to move rooms due to the non-functioning toilet, which was no problem and the staff was very friendly, however the second room was significantly smaller. The pool and spa are really beautiful, but the pool was COLD.

2022-04-24Everything was wonderful. Staff, house keeping, location, breakfast, communication, pool, etc. As soon as I arrived, front desk personnel (Tye) was so awesome. All questions/needs addressed. My son truly himself at the hotel alone and absolutely enjoyed the pool. Good experience and good prices. Will return. Forgot to take pictures of the room when I first walked in but everything was nice and clean.

2022-02-14Parking is oddly far-ish away, and the layout is weird... but! Great staff. They function well as a team, and really went out of their way to be kind and helpful. Rooms are super clean, beds were more comfortable than your average Hampton Inn. Will stay here whenever in this area.

2022-02-03I called late one evening, for an emergency situation. I run a community and one of my residents was without heat and power and needed to get her and her kids somewhere safe and warm for the evening. Christa answered the line and made things so easy and smooth for us, I couldnt have asked for anyone better! My resident continued to message meto thank me so much and said how clean and beautiful the hotel was and that again Christa was a rock star!

2022-05-21Due to weather issues we had to change venues for a bridal shower. We rented the Hampton Inn conference room late in the week. The staff was amazing and bent over backwards for us. It was very busy and yet the staff was eager to assist whenever something came up. Great customer service. Thank you!!!
