Clean and comfortable hotel. The walls are a little thin but still cant complain for the price. John was awesome at check in very friendly and helpful. It smelled a little green in spots if you know what Im saying but other than that it was a good place to crash after a long day.
Positive: Room was clean Negative: Was woke up early to kids running up and down the halls and slamming doors, when I informed the front desk I was told that if she was to say something to the kids it would make things worse. So she did nothing. And the noise continued.
As a rewards member, I usually have high expectations. This hotel met most of them and everyone was friendly. The room was nice and cold upon arrival, cleaned thoroughly, staff was nice, coffee was good, gym was decent and there were apparently a bunch of kids enjoying the pool. The location is next to major shopping and dining so its easy to access on foot too. Only reason for the lower star was the lack of prompt cleanup from the pool area (water all down the elevator and hall) and the breakfast was bleh. Otherwise - I would definitely stay again.
Went on a small stay vacation to relax before our busy season at work. Booked a room with a jacuzzi tube so I could relax peacefully. As soon as I walked in to check into my room a group of guys are sitting in the lobby with a case of beer drinking. Hitting on the young lady at the front desk. I went to my room just down the hall to try and enjoy a nice soak in the jacuzzi turn the jets on and it dosent work. Went back to the front desk told the young lady. She apologized and told me she would be happy to give me a discounted rate of my two night stay. Didnt offer me to change rooms or anything else. I go and check out after my stay look at my bill a hole $20.00 was taken off just on one of my two night stays. Dont think I will be returning back will also be contacting the corporate office.
The cleanliness of our room was not what I would expect from a Hilton brand hotel. The duvet cover had a long black hair and visible lint. All linens appeared dingy and half clean. The corner next to the entry door had visible dirt and debris that was not cleaned/swept. The bathroom looked old and thewater from the sink faucet did not clear the sink bowl unless it was turned 100% on. I would likely choose a non-hilton brand hotel if staying in this area again.
We stayed one night and was sold on this Hotel. We checked out and stayed one night with family. Decided to come back to this Hotel for 2 more nights. We could have chosen from multiple hotels. Jade DeBerry was very professional and help a great deal in all aspects of of our visit. She should be considered for Management in my opinion. All the guest services were top shelf. Will choose this Hotel when traveling to Wyoming again.
I just stayed here. The stay was great. I forgot my wallet in the room and I went back to go get it. The room had already been stripped of the sheets and the wallet had already been moved. So instead of the employee taking it up to the front desk she placed it on the side. I had cash in there and it seems to have come up at least $200 short which is very unfortunate. If one of the employees could reach out to me that would be great to resolve this.
Overall this is a nice hotel. It could use some updating, Lobby area and rooms are dark and could use some brightening up. Staffing was short on some days, reception staff sometimes had to cover the breakfast prep/serving. Disappointed in the fitness centers lack of free weights.
Checking in the man was not very nice and didnt tell me anything about the hotel. I didnt even know where the elevators were. I then asked for a late checkout and the man said I could checkout at 1pm. Come morning time, room service had knocked on my door 3 times before I had to open the door to tell her. They claimed that I was lying and there was nothing saying I had a late checkout. So after working all night. I got two hours of sleep before getting kicked out. As a diamond member, this is one of the worst hiltons I have been to in a while.
I woke up twice in the morning to someone attempting to open the door to my room without knocking. Thankfully my safety lock was closed on or they would of came into my room. I called front desk to inform and the response I got was crazy. She goes on to tell me no house keeping comes that early in the morning. I asked her to check the cameras to see who was trying to come in she denied. Very unsafe hotel. Jennifer poole was the name, who was the assistant manager at the time. Don’t trust them and no longer will stay by them and don’t recommend anyone to go.
The staff (front desk and housekeeping) were exceptionally welcoming and friendly even though they were busy with teams and lots of families doing some post Covid restrictions traveling. Both of our rooms were clean and the decor was updated. Good location near a Meijer and Target and several quick service restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.
We had a group of rooms here for 4 nights and we were treated very well. John at the front desk was amazing to deal with! He made our group feel so welcomed and truly went above and beyond what was expected! The location is good and is convenient to shops, restaurants and activities.
The hotel location was convenient for my needs. The room and beds looked inviting, bright and clean. The bathroom was spotless. The mattresses were VERY comfortable and I LOVED the fluffy pillows. The front desks clerks were very attentive.A modest but welcomed sack breakfast, individually boxed cereal assortment and milk and, coffee were available at the front desk in the morning . Its understandable they cant offer a buffet style breakfast anymore. If in Grand Rapids for business again I will come back to this location.
This is a great hotel if you are looking to have a smaller meeting, corporate retreat, etc. I would not recommend the restaurants in the immediate surrounding area, but if you need a place that is conveniently located, please keep them in mind for corporate rentals, or even small gatherings (i.e. a baby shower). Also, despite being near the highway, they are pretty sound-proof.
Enjoyed staying here.Sure, its an older hotel but everyones friendly and nice and the rooms are clean. I found them to mostly get high marks for hospitality.I did like that they were offering some take away breakfast items. Some places wont even give you that these days.Nice in the way a really well-maintained older hotel can be. Solid construction means less noise from the neighbors. No issues with the Wi-Five and plenty of hot water with good water pressure from the shower. You come to appreciate these lesser creature comforts when you travel as much as I do.Overall, happy happy happy. Some small misgivings and not worth mentioning.
Grabbed a room as a 4 hour haven from the cancelled / layover airflight.Hockey tournament in town. Kids running wild UNSUPERVISED while their loud parents drank at the bar. Shameful!!HOWEVER the host of hotel gave us a quiet room. We so appreciated his insight into an untenable situation.Bless him, dont know his name but he tended to the customers and babysat kids rolling on the hall floors, up and down elevators in groups and very loud. Zero manners!!!!!. HE NEEDS A RAISE.Hampton Inn probably gets a lot of these teams and their incredibly poor parents.Kudos to Hampton!!
When my daughter made her reservation, she specifically asked if there was a pool. She was told yes. So she gets her room, gets her kids there and all excited to go swimming, and the pool is closed. Has been since Saturday, she checked in on Monday. Had she been told the pool was closed, she definitely wouldnt have spent that kind of money there, she wouldve gone elsewhere, so she and her children could swim. Total waste of money for her little staycation for her kids.
I was going to rave about this place but after going to the breakfast I cant. The bed was great. It felt new. Breakfast is nothing to eat unless youre into childrens cereal, bagels and oatmeal. No protein other than milk. I didnt see any yogurt and the bananas were beyond where they should be served. When I asked about finding anything that wasnt a carb, the manager replied Good luck.
Quick off the freeway destination & with that being said, some sketchy looking people hanging around. Many stores, a few ok restaurants, but venture out to other near by cities for more food options. Rooms were ok & pretty clean and had the nessasary accomdoations. We were there for a volleyball tournament, so the hotel was picked for us, the girls enjoyed the pool & parents utilized the lobby seating area. I would not have picked this hotel if I were to choose, but it sufficed for the short weekend. Some updates in and outside of the hotel & maybe a little more security for people hanging out in the parking lots would do this some hotel justice.
As with any hotel, is a place to lay your head & grab some sleep... while away on business, just getting away from it all while visiting fam or friends, or while on vacation. What else is there to say.Staff, was curteous & efficient. With this location, dont look to have much in the way of places to eat, though & expect to have food delivery. Is a microwave oven, as well as a small refrigerator, supplied in the room, & there is a Meijers & Wal-Mart not far, within walking distance. So, youre able to grab food, drink & any other needs you might have, met by them.
Wonderful hotel! We were lucky enough to stay on the remodeled third floor. Very spacious and clean. The continental breakfast, though crowded, offered a great spread of food. Hotel staff did a great job of making sure food was hot frequently replenished. Will definitely stay again!
The employees were all very nice. The girl who worked the breakfast kept making sure me and my family were taken care of. I had forgotten toothpaste and the front desk provided some for me. The rooms were mostly clean - there were some debris on the bed which were easily wiped off. It seemed that it had been awhile since our room had been used. One of the USB charger ports didnt work either but luckily I had the power block and just plugged it into the outlet.
We use the Hampton Inn as our hotel for our wedding party. We invited all of our guests to stay there, and had a block reserved for them. Leading up to the event, the staff were wonderful, very communicative, and I had no issues. They were very willing to work with us, as we change names around and changed rooms around. Matt on their staff is absolutely excellent! When we did arrive, the person checking Us in was rather rude. That was a bit of a letdown, because we had brought them so much business, and were really looking forward to the standard of Hampton Inn treatment. However, the managers were very open to discussing this, and I believe that they handled the issue appropriately. We also had an issue where we had had a room reserved, and they had me, one hour before my rehearsal dinner, checking out of the room I was in and switching me to a completely new set of rooms. This was a huge inconvenience, and a lot of stress that I did not need. This was because they had had an error with the bookings, and they had someone else in that room. The room they ended up giving me was great! However it was just the stress and drama of moving. Also, they had agreed to hand out the goodie bags for my gas as they checked in, and they did not remember to do that until reminded. Overall, I thought that their managerial staff was fantastic! The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were very clean, and it was a great experience. The only small issues were the ones I have listed, and the staff worked well to handle those.
We got the king whirlpool room for a mini honeymoon and were rather disappointed. The bed linens werent changed before we got there- found dirt and a hairball between the sheet and duvet. Gross. The whirlpool wasnt washed- had dirt rings on it- and the bathroom sink plug was stuck in the drain so we had to use the faucet on the whirlpool for brushing teeth & water for coffee. The most disappointing thing was that there wasnt any type of fan or air duct in the bathroom or room to circulate the air, especially if we needed to use the bathroom as nature intended. Made the atmosphere very stuffy & it felt rather constricting. The only saving grace was that they offered Neutrogena products. It was nice to get away but for $200/night, well definitely be going elsewhere.
Very clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Rooms are well insulated from outside noises. Good size pool and decent workout room. Complimentary breakfast provides good variety with plenty of space for sitting in the eating area.Easy access to/from 131 highway. Parking is a little tight if showing up after 6pm due to popularity of place.
I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn, Grand Rapids South location. Overall, it was a positive experience. John, the front desk man, was friendly upon check in. The room was perfect. Cold air-condition. High pressure shower. Breakfast was great, but there wasnt coffee when I went to get it. Not a big deal to me because I understood there was a conference going on and they had a greater flow of people to cater to. Overall though, I would recommend this hotel to others!
Quality service, clean location and updated rooms. Breakfast you expect, nice snacks, ample parking, walking distance to several places to eat. Easy access to 131. Pool was nice and had a separate hot tub. Work out area was also nice. Friendly staff and willing to help and answer questions.
You could smell how clean everything was. This was a last minute hotel booking, due to the quality of our pre-booked 2 nighter, we had to book a second night elsewhere and boy am I glad we chose here. Made up for the experience we had elsewhere. They provide bagged breakfast right now due to covid19. There is choice of juice or water, but the bags have a drink, yogurt, a piece of fresh fruit and a nutrigrain bar. They also have cereal on the side and you grab pre-bagged bowl and spoon so its all ready to go for you. Good quality hotel, will likely rebook should we revisit the area.
My dad and I stayed here while we were visiting family in town. We had a late check-in, and they were very accommodating with that. We had a ground-floor room that was quite comfortable. The staff was helpful and was able to recommend several late night places to eat.
The room we stayed in had an extremely loud air conditioner that kept me up most of the night (usually I like a bit of white noise, but this was intense). The bed was also very hard, and much less comfortable than other Hampton beds Ive stayed in. The shower had very poor pressure. The room didnt include as many toiletries as Hampton Inns usually do. The facility outside the room was not well air conditioned. I felt almost sweaty eating breakfast and going to and from my room (and I dont sweat much). Breakfast was hot and okay. Staff were kind of friendly, but didnt prompt for our rewards account as usual, so we forgot...and didnt get our usual snacks and perks.
Ive stayed here 3 times. The staff has been exceptionally accommodating. Every time I was here I had an issue but they worked every time to resolve it for me and two of those times the issue was on me not them. I highly recommend and will definitely use them for my business trips in the future. Also, the breakfast is good!
We had a great experience at the Hampton Inn! We held a small family graduation party in a first floor suite and really had a good time. The pool room was warm and toasty, the pool was kind of dirty and the hot tub was slightly dirty. Staff was very nice and the rooms were very nice.
Nice hotel. Lobby is modern and comfortable. Rooms have been recently remodeled (as of November 2016) and are very nice. Plenty of outlets and USB ports. Shades for the window dont block all of the light, so it might be difficult to sleep in late. Outside of the hotel is currently being remodeled, so there is some construction noise during the day (dont expect to sleep in late). The shower is very narrow and the shower head is pretty weak. Not a lot of water pressure.
Location was convenient for me but other than that I did not enjoy my stay. As soon as we got there they had trouble with the payment. Then when we got to our room it was a disappointment. Small rooms, hard beds and tiny windows. The extra blankets and pillows were dirty and had stains. The fridge wasnt cold, the iron didnt work correctly and the remote didnt work well with the TV. We checked out the pool and hot tub and it was dirty. Black stuff floating around the hot tub and stuck to the edges. The whole pool area smelled of vinegar. I will not be back.
We used the banquet room for a party, although the room needed to be vacuumed and some dust wiped off of window ledges the front desk personalty/(Dorothy ) got someone to come and vacuum right away and she personally wiped the ledges. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We had a great time and I would recommend using the Hampton for all occasions.
Hotel is really nice overall, pool is great. The staff at the front desk is so so, just witnessed a Manager “Matt” argue with his employee at the front door of the hotel and straight up yell at her “you’re fired” out in the wide open..... really disturbing experience as a guest to say the least....
Stayed there about a month ago eveyrhing was great. Stayed there last nite without knowing there would be people partying in the parking lot and hallways. My shower wall was so nasty I almost threw up seeing someones mucus on the wall. There were fingernails or toe nails left from the last guest close to the nitestand. I brought these things up to management and they made it very clear they did not care. Think twice about staying at this Hampton Inn as their standards of service fall well below what you would expect from a Hampton Inn
Looks can be deceiving. Currently washing every item we took to cheer compation for the weekend. We woke up at 5am to get ready and had at least 6 big cockroaches in the 2 rooms we stayed in for the night. We took photos showed the front desk. Put our stuff in trash bags and left. Had to stop and buy breakfast do to the fast I wasnt eating anything from that hotel. Very sad this trip was made so stressful.
Hotel décor was very nice. Nice sized lobby where guests could sit, relax and watch TV. Great social area. The pool and hot tub were clean, but seemed to have a little to much chlorine. Eyes should not start to burn as you walk into the pool area.Hotel rooms, also nice décor. Rooms were on the smaller side. Not a size for a family of 4 or more to stay.Very nice feature about the room is that there were a lot of USB port chargers around when needed for electronics. There were at least 4-5 in our room.Bathrooms were very nicely sized. Nice shower stall with glass doors. Sink with nice amount of counter space.Daytime staff was very helpful. Night staff could of used a little training from the daytime staff. Night staff was helpful, but just slower.Overall, it was a nice stay. Will be back in the area in several months. May look them up.
Super clean friendly staff. Free Breakfast and decent coffee. Tons of surrounding restaurants and Target is on the corner. As long as Im near Target I can get whatever I need. Easy access from the freeway as its less than a mile from the interstate. We did an early check in at no extra cost.
The staff was fine. Hotel is small and felt cramped. The rooms on the first floor are much to close to the busy traffic areas of the hotel. Easily heard trucks and cars from the parking lot in my room. The courtesy wifi was pretty bad; not acceptable for Netflix or consistent online gaming. I guess for $160 a night I expected better.
Everything was wonderful about our stay at this Hampton, from the friendly courtesy with which we were treated upon our arrival to the fabulous complimentary breakfast enjoyed just prior to our departure. Our room was CLEAN, the hot tub was perfect, the fitness room was well equipped, the beds and room temperature were just right, and there are scads of stores (Meijer, Menards, Target) and restaurants (Chik fil-A, Panera Bread, Oriental Buffet, Starbucks, Steak N Shake, Arnies) within easy walking distance.
Hotel was subpar for my preference. First room had mold (staff were very helpful & prompt in getting me moved right away). The Elevator was out of commission for part of my stay. Being on the fourth floor carrying baggage was not convenient. Small things such as vaccuming the halls to ensure a decent presentation goes a long way.
Went for work. As a motor coach operator I travel a lot for work. I stay in a lot of very high class hotels. This particular Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was amazing, and very helpful. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Highly recommended.
I am obsessed with this place! I live in California now, but grew up in the Grand Rapids area. This hotel is my go-to whenever I am back to visit. The staff could not be friendlier; it is insanely clean and well-appointed; and I dont know why, but Hampton Inn coffee is crazy delicious. Love this place! Highly recommend.
Unfortunately the night receptionist wasn’t helpful or understanding in anyway! Defiantly happy I didn’t end up staying there because the Hyatt down the street is so much nicer! We walked in the Hampton inn south at 3am Saturday morning wanting to stay till Sunday and he wanted to charge us for Friday night and Saturday night. Please help me understand this!
Nice hotel but are room had little ants. The kids opened up the pizza box in it was full. Then to go swimming our key card wouldnt let us in. After 3 trys walking back and fourth the front desk guy just let us in. Then when we wanted back in the room the key wouldnt work so we ha to go back up to the desk yet again.
Extremely happy with this Hampton, especially the awesome customer service! Christy was a big help. My sons car broke down in the middle of the night. He is autistic, and she went out of her way to make him feel at ease. He gets very agitated in stressful situations! I wasnt able to pick him up until later, and the entire staff made him feel right at home! Great Job Hampton !!!
The Hampton Inn served its purposes just fine, a place to lay my head between work days at an out-of-town client. It was conveniently located near the highway that took us to Grand Rapids proper for dinner that evening, as well as being near my client. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was enough to satisfy but nothing spectacular. Would stay again if the rate was cheaper, ended up paying about the same for two nights at a nearby competitor, though we did get a group rate through our client there.
Had a issue with the hotel taking my payment prior to my check out date, they charged me the room rates and taxes as well as the 40 dollar a night for incidentals. Incidentals totaling 120 dollars. Now any hotel I have ever stayed at has never charged my card for incidentals and in the past 4 months I have stayed at 12 different hotels for my daughters swimming season. Normally they fall off at time of checkout. Chealse the manger was left a note to contact me about the charges, chealse never call me the next day, so I had to call the hotel back and finally was able to talk to her. Chealse told me this was the new way that this hotel was charging for stays, so with out telling the customer that the incidentals would be charged as well as the room rate and taxes before the stay was over, my account was over drawn cause me to acquire nsf charges. And now I have to wait 3-5 days for the bank to return the 120 dollars in incidental that should have never been charged to my card, and Chealse told me that it had nothing to do with the hotel that my bank screwed it up and it was there fault, Hampton inn is suppose to have a 100 percent guarantee policy, but I believe this manager Chealse doesn’t believe in customer support or satisfaction because she clearly was not in anyway helpful to this situation and was only trying to tell me why it wasn’t her fault and she wasn’t going to do anything about it. She said this is standard procedure now that they will take the incidental payment and make the consumer wait 3-5 days to receive it back. Very unsatisfied and will never stay at a Hampton inn ever again and will tell other consumers to choose a different hotel to stay with, customer satisfaction is not high on chealse’s list.
I was not a registered guest when I came through their door at 4:30am on a stormy night desperate to use the bathroom. A smile, wink and nod granted me access and allowed me to keep my situation my own. When things got more complicated, the night staff provided me with a plunger to resolve my crisis. No smirks, just service. Way to go, overnight staff!
My husband & I didnt stay here but were lost on our way to the airport because of the interstate closure on 4/24/18. (We are from out of state & unfamiliar with the area.) We stopped here in the early a.m. & a wonderful young man by the name of JD went out of his way to assist us. He gave us directions, a map, & he was so respectful & pleasant. I want his supervisor to know how much we appreciated him & the kind yet professional way he helped us. Also, the Inn looked very clean & comfortable. If we ever need to stay in the area, well stay here! Thank you!
I stayed for two weeks on a business trip, the staff are great, the location for me was convenient as I was working south of Grand Rapids City, there were some food locations in walking distance. Breakfast is standard, plenty of parking, I did use the laundry and gym both worked well for me.
Currently under construction, but does not impede any services for what I know. Front Desk service is a little strange as well. The rooms have curtains over the entire wall to make it seem bigger, even though the window is tiny. Breakfast was pretty standard for Hampton Inns.
Very friendly employees, excellent morning breakfast from 6 - 10 AM, did not use the pool but it looked very nice, fitness facility was impressive and included more equipment than the typical hotel gym, extremely satisfied with my visit, will recommend and stay here again.
Great appearance, however we had bed bugs in our room. When we called the front desk, we were offered another room on the 3rd floor instead of the 2nd floor, only if we promised to leave by 9am due to construction. Our arrival time there was 10 pm, this would mean we would have a room for 11 hours for full price. No charge so far on the credit card, but really?
Im a big fan of Hilton Hotels given that my spouse has been part of the rewards program for many years, but not this Hampton. I was visiting this hotel weekly on business and every time the rate was different as low as $119 and as high as $189. The hotel was never busy, So no excuse that the rate went up due to big event in Grand Rapids that had all the hotels booked. That I understand. It was essentially algorithm price gouging. Besides nothing special about this hotel, just another hotel on the side of the freeway.I brought this to the attention of the manager and he said theres nothing he could do.So I gave up my loyalty to Hilton and Im now booking at CityFlats Hotel downtown. Cost $145 a night and lots more to do within walking distance of the hotel and much nicer accommodations (i.e. restaurant and bar onsite).
I left my iPad charger in the room when I checkout out on September 30th. I called the hotel on October 1st to in quite if it had been found. I was told that the lost and found is cleaned out at the end of the month. I asked what they do with the items in the lost and found and she had no idea. Hmmmm. Someone got a brand new charger.
We has some issues with our room, the whirlpool tub would not shut off and got all of our things wet and flooded the room. We had to switch rooms my wife was very upset, I talked to the manager and he covered the cost of our room, the rest of our stay was great! I will definitely stay at this hotel next time I stay in Grand Rapids

2022-07-05Our family enjoyed the pool and lobby breakfast seating area on Friday evening to share a carry-in pizza meal. The staff treated us with respect and made us feel welcome in every way. The room was excellent - clean and easy to use. We were there to celebrate a 1-year old great-granddaughters 1st birthday and everything went well.

2022-04-09Our first time staying here. It was very nice, located by everything you need and very quite even being right next to the highway. Very friendly afternoon and evening staff, they helped out with everything we needed. The breakfast had lots of selections for everyone. The only complaint was that the pool was very cold but the hot tube was warm and great. The price of the room was good too and wed definitely stay agaain.

2022-03-29The location is great, the pool is awesome for a family stay-cation. Clean and well maintained. The bonus of this hotel was the incredible staff. Jennifer at the front desk and Mario as part of the housekeeping staff, went above and beyond in their customer service. With so many demands on teams and so many places short staffed, having a staff that is customer oriented and that go above and beyond really just make you feel wanted and appreciated as a customer. Our whole family commented on how great they were. THANK YOU!

2022-07-13Love this hotel when I stay in town for the week I always stay here . The staff is is super friendly and the rooms are nice and clean and updated. They have morning breakfast and all the doors from the out side lock at a certain hour so you have to have your key card to get in and out of the building even the main entrance so that makes me feel super safe ! Also there are tons of local businesses around if you need anything ! Great little bagel place on the corner as well !

2022-06-15If you enjoy staying in a room that is 90+% humidity, this is the place for you. There is no exhaust in the bathroom or above the jacuzzi tub to deal with moisture generated by showers or bathing. The check in staff was pleasant and expedient which is always appreciated. The breakfast provided was well prepared and again, the staff was excellent.

2021-12-21Shopped around for a room with a romantic hot tub and found one here. The reception was polite and efficient, getting us settled quickly. The room and bedding was clean with only minor smudges here and there. The tub function as expected until we tried to drain it and discovered that it was broken and needed maintenance. The hallway outside the room could be vacuumed more often than once every few days. The landscape outside the window was of a romantic parking lot, curtains were pulled tight upon discovery. We made a bit of noise, the two of us, but did not hear any complaints or have any interruptions to our evening. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Each item was hot, fresh, and of good quality. Dishes were clean and food plentiful.

2022-02-14The room is nice, breakfast is good, staff is friendly. Ive been here on business multiple times and its been great.Had a miscommunication about housekeeping policies during COVID-19, housekeeping is available upon request. I missed it in the Hilton Honors app, but its clearly there. In my original review I questioned it and the staff reached out to me to apologize (even though it was my error and the policy is posted), clarify the policy, and ask how they could help in the future. They were friendly and professional.Highly recommended.

2022-06-20Positive: We loved this hotel the minute we stepped through the door into a calming atmosphere, and were greeted by most congenial Emily. Our room was clean, spacious and well equipped. Very comfortable bed! Breakfast was hot and delicious. Everyone was very nice.

2022-05-08Mixed feelings about this place. Initially it was horrid. Showed up late at night and the front door was locked so we pressed the intercom system. Ended up waiting almost 10 minutes for someone to open the door. We walk in and the guy at the front doesn’t say anything and I have to do the talking saying “We are here to check in” all he says is “ID”. So I give him my ID and then he just looks at me and hands me my ID back and a key to our room. Doesn’t say anything else. So I said “Is that it?” He then says “Yes” and then walks away. I was going to use my triple AAA discount but figured it would be too much for him to handle and didn’t want to bother him. The hallway on our floor smelled like weed and we heard people yelling outside our room. Can’t manage them but still ruins the experience. Other than that everything was good.

2022-07-18Dont trust this place. Reservations are meaningless and they dont care Hampton Inn overbooked for a Saturday night. Horrible customer service! The manager Jennifer Poole left a note and sent me an email saying they had a room for me at another nearby hotel except Jennifer Poole never contacted this hotel. They didnt have space. Jorge at Hampton Inn said he couldnt do anything about it and the manager wasnt responding or replying to him. Basically they didnt have a run and couldnt find a run I was just out of luck. I could call two days later to task with the manager. Doesnt do me much good at 11 p.m. when Im exhausted and have 2 kids who just want to go to bed! They told me everything in the city was booked (which wasnt true because i got a room at Springhill Suites.Hampton inn has always kind of been my go to never will I stay at this location and will be cautious about any Hampton inn if this is how poorly they run their hotels.
