This store is amazing not just for the deals but the fact that it supports the animals that people abandon or relinquish!! I am from out of town but this will always be my first stop to shop whenever I come to Holland

Thrift store hours are Monday through Saturday 10:00 am until 8:00 pm and Sunday from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Check out our Facebook page for daily sales and sign up for our e-mail list on Facebook or in store. All profits from Shelbys Place operations benefit the homeless animals of Harbor Humane Society. The store is very nice, but the prices seem to have increased, so its no longer one of my first choices in thrift shops.
Great place with beautiful cats who enthusiastically great you when you enter. Lots of nice things nicely organized and reasonably priced all for a great cause.
Nice, clean, tidy store...besides gently used clothes, houseware items, and some antiques......alot of cat and dog beds, toys....you can find nice misc things for your family pets..Helpful friendly gals to answer your questions..and advise you about pet adoption at the harbor humane society.
Its a great way to give to our four footed friends..and find crafts and treasures as well as clothes and accessories

A great thrift store to find older items for cheep. One thing that they have there that makes me go every week is that they have a large amount of VHS tapes and dvds for super cheep.

2018-03-26Awesome thrift store with lots of bargains and adoptable pets. Proceeds support the shelter. What better place to spend money at or donate to!For all the people complaining about the store and the prices, the money that this store brings in, even though they are donations, go to supporting the Humane Society. If you think the items are priced too high, then make a money donation or donate food, blankets and items for the pets they take in and care for.I have bought items from and donated items to Shelbys Place and have donated both money and items to the Humane Society. Its a great cause to support!!

2021-03-23Love to seek out the cats in the store, I rescued one from there years ago and she is 14 now. Quality items. I had also bought a couch there before, which I still have. The staff are always so nice

2019-10-01The prices in this thrift store are insane. Pricing needs to reflect the product. The Barbie dolls are $10 and a plastic Barbie car with stickers all over it was $12. They were not new or even clean. I asked the ladies at the front counter if the prices were correct and she said yes because they were vintage. They weren’t. Walking through the rest of the store and was met with outrageous pricing throughout. This is the second time visiting this store and I won’t be back. Too many others that have normal pricing and enjoyable to walk through without my mouth agape the whole time. I will continue to donate in other ways.

2019-04-22I was initially excited at the prospect of a good thrift store in business to help rescue/help animals, but when i entered the store it went downhill. The prices are way out of line. I only looked at a few clothing items because i was shocked to see $8-$12 price tags on womens shirts at a non profit. The housewares was just as bad, some cookware priced at $25! If i wanted to spend that much I would just go to a regular priced retail store and buy what I need.

2016-12-01Nice clean thrift store, however the clothing isnt the best around. However, if its a bargain book you are looking for Shelbys has the very best library section and the prices are fantastic. Books are in order of their genre. Its a small library but definitely worth visiting.

2017-06-18Great place to find treasures. Got an extra large dog bed with a cooling mat for $20 today. Brand new in the box! They always have specials! REALLY wish they would have later hours though!
