ALWAYS happy with my haircut! Employees are friendly, and extremely professional. I drive out of my way to come here because I know Ill get exactly what I want for a great price.
I took my 7 yr old son there. The lady was friendly and professional toward my son and gave him the full treatment including hair wash,nice hair cut and steamed towel on face as a relaxing touch. We will be returning customers!! Oh and the price was reasonable. For all mentioned, she well deserved and was given a gratuitous tip above the average 15-20%. Thank you Headquarters.
No idea how they cut hair. I walked in and stood at the counter for 5 minutes, 2 more people walked in after me and stood there. No one, not one person walked to help me or greet me. No idea what happened for the 2 men who followed me. Even a hello would have helped, but nothing. So I left.. At first glance it looks nice inside so 1 star for that.
Never let no one but my mother cut my hair for 21 years till today. Jennifer did an amazing job thank you 🙂

Made an appointment online, received appointment confirmation in email, went to the appointment , a woman told me to wait and Mark would be with me in a minute,20 minutes later he said my appointment wasn’t in the system, they’ve been having issues with call service? he said I could come back at 6:30, then I received text from salon saying he was sick ?? Place was dusty, carpet and floors needed cleaning, Mark was recommended to me by a friend, probably a good hairdresser but I’ll take my son somewhere else.

I have been there twice now in the last four months, and this will continue to be the only place I get my haircut! For the price of everything..haircut, shampoo, neck shave, and good conversation with the hairdresser, you might as well tip them more than normal! I would recommend this place to anyone, and would SPECIFICALLY RECOMMEND you ask for PEYTON! She knows her stuff about cutting hair, did a great job, and offers good conversations!
Absolutely horrible customer service. My husband went and got a haircut a couple weeks ago and had a gentleman cut his hair messed up his hair told the guy he didn’t want his neck shaved and the hairstylist said don’t worry I’m good and cut my husbands neck in a few spots and my husband was bleeding. The haircut looked like it was hacked. Called to make a complaint was told I would hear from manager and never heard a word, so I called again and got nothing, than called again and was told I would hear from the owner still nothing and it’s been about a month. Also the guy who cut my husbands hair seemed high!!!!! Don’t go here it’s a waste of time!!!!

I took my one year old son here for his very first haircut and we had an amazing experience! Renee was his stylist! She was so awesome with him. She sang Mickey Mouse clubhouse songs to be him and was so patient with him as he kept reaching for everything. I am so happy with the whole experience! We will 100% be back to see Renee again!
I have traveled to just about every place I could in search for a consistent, great haircut, I ended up here, and I will never go anywhere else. If you value quality, consistency, great staff and great atmosphere, this is where you go. Ashley G is my go to hairstylist but it is clear that anyone on staff is of the same caliber as Ashley’s talent. Whenever I walk in I am immediately greeted, checked in and seen within minutes, or even immediately can walk back to a chair. I recommend this place to everyone I can. You won’t regret becoming a regular here.

Showed up for an appointment, waited 25 minutes, I finally asked about the wait only to be notified the stylist didnt show, manager said she called me a few days ago, never left a message. I was offered to wait 4 hours or drive 30 minutes to another location. Asked for owner to contact me, but shockingly no call
Stopped in to give this place a try today. Dani greeted me and cut my hair. She did a fantastic job. Probably the best haircut I’ve had in a while. Usually I have to point out problem areas with my hair and tell the barber how to deal with it, but she recognized it and took care of it before I could even point anything out. Really great job. Will definitely come back.

Bad haircut experience ever. I usually come here get my hair done and always satisfied. But today the lady just asked what I want to get done and did her job without head washing like I usually have. She literally charged me $19 for that half of service. Good thing she reduced to $10 when I asked. She didn’t clean hair in my face and ear at all, just on the back. Was wondering is that call “racist”? Never come back again. Thank for your service!

Was looking for a new place to get my hair cut after the previous place I went to raised their prices by a substantial amount. Headquarters for Men - Macomb was right down the street from my previous place and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised at the fantastic service they offer for $8 less than I was paying at the other place, although I read that new customers first cut was $13 and I paid the full price of $18. But it was well worth the price for what you get, Cut, Shampoo, Conditioning, Hot Steamed Facial Towel, Head Massage and Warm Lather Neck Trim. Jade was fantastic, warm and friendly, like shes been cutting my hair for a long time. I made sure I made my next appointment with Jade before I left.
Cool place. I walked in showed a picture of how I wanted my hair to be cut. Quick cut as requested, awesome wash with hot towel, razor neck shave...all in 25 minutes. Will definitely be back.
Jasmin did a fantastic job with my hair, which is notorious for being difficult to work with. She was very friendly and really took the extra time to make sure my hair was looking great. I could hardly believe it when she told me she had only started recently. Will be returning soon!
Was not happy with the service here. I got my haircut here and then lady obviously did not care, she kinda just brushed over my head asked what I wanted done one time and went from there. She had a look on her face like she did not want to be cutting hair and she didn’t even spend the whole 30 minutes or should be cutting my hair because edge wanted to leave. I got a haircut at another place a week later and it was much better. Also got a call from customer service asking if it was a bad experience, couldn’t answer so I reached out to them a few times, was told they would call me back and they still haven’t! Too bad bring your business elsewhere.
First haircut was horrible. Second was great. 3 stars. Choose first available and youre dodging landmines. Stick with a top performer and youll always look great.The girl who did a great job, I never saw her there again. There was another girl who did a good job, but 3 weeks ago she wasnt there and this other girl gave me the third worst haircut of my life. Seriously, I can name the other two. The time before the girls were complaining about the other girls. HELLO! I hate to interrupt your whining with my HAIRCUT!To her credit, girl cutting my hair did okay and pretty much stayed out of it. It just seems like a bad work environment that chases top talent away. Needs to be addressed by management ASAP!
Went there for my first full hair cut in a few years otherwise just had my hair trimmed. I HAD shoulder length long hair. I asked for a very simple style and even showed the women what I wanted with two different examples she says no problem I can do that. After all is said and done it looked good at first until i realize it’s about 3 inches shorter then the photo and cant be styled. I grew my hair out for 6 years and now it’s ruined. Update as of July 30th 2019: I emailed the person who replied they emailed me back stating they would refund my money and schedule me an appointment to fix my hair and include a “free” product. The appointment never happened I never heard another word from the company after my money was refunded.
I would recommend this salon! Everyone here is friendly, professional and give great haircuts. I would recommend Chelsea at the Macomb and Shelby location! Definitely my first choice when getting my hair cut, beard trim and eyebrows waxed.
Had two bad experiences. One at Shelby location, where I was cut during the neck shave. Stylist let me walk out with blood on my shirt without letting me know. Second experience was at Macomb, made a 9:30 appointment and came in at 9:15. Two people came in after me and were taken back. 9:50 and I still was waiting, ended up walking out because I had to be at work. Let management know about both experiences and haven’t heard back. Would not recommend coming here if you value your time.

Desiree (maybe Renee, she was shorter and hefty with a reddish chopped up horrible haircut to match her attitude) has the worst attitude of all time and, Im not sure how she has a license.I walked in greeted with the worst attitude Ive ever experienced, then was told she could begrudgingly cut my hair.She asked zero questions and just started haphazardly swiping with the clippers....I pointed out a spot I was trying to grow back because of previous butcher job and like a crazy dream, that was the first place she buzzed off!!! The rest of the area that was cut with the clippers was bumpy and ridged, just like her attitude. After she did that I said something about her carelessness and she said, lets wash it first. She said this because I was wearing a hat all day and my hair was completely matted down, there was no way she knew what she was cutting. After the shampoo, I looked at the spot she just hacked off and she said, yeah, Im not sure whats going on there either. I was perplexed, as she just did the hacking!!!She went on to make some aimless cuts with the scissors, none of which made sense, until I had to politely say we were done.She was rude, careless, and completely unapologetic.DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
I am VERY particular about my hair. But Mark did a FANTASTIC job. I won’t be going anywhere else. He was timely, listened to me, made me feel comfortable, and had me walking out looking and feeling like a new man

I really love the way they cut hair, clean razor shave on your neck and a hot towel with head massage. I just cant stand the wait time. They are very busy and its hard to make an appointment within a convenient time frame. If you walk in.... plan on waiting over an hour.
Decent haircuts at reasonable prices. If judging solely on a decent haircut, this shop would be 4-star. However, the For Men part boils down to decor including TVs with ESPN, etc. playing and a towel rinsed with hot water on the face, and there are issues with inconsistency on little things like not offering to shave eyebrows, asking about sideburns, not being offered a towel or not offering styling before leaving.
Posted on Yelp! but wanted to make sure it gets visibility.Called yesterday and spoke with Renee. It was 7:34 pm. Was told they close at 8:00 pm. To me when you say you close at a specific time means that you are open for business up until the last minute and will help a client out even if it means staying late so long as they came in during normal business hours.Was promptly given notice that they stop taking appointments at 7:30 pm. I asked if it was a by appointment only hair salon. Renee said that they also take walk-ins. Awesome. Then this means I can go up there (which I was on my way, maybe 5 minutes away) and get a haircut, right? Wrong. Was told again that all appointments are not taken after 7:30 pm. But I was just told that walk-ins are welcome, no?So then I stated that theyre actual operating hours are until 7:30 pm. Renee said no, its until 8:00 pm. See where Im going with this?I used to frequent this place when it just opened and not many knew about it. Service was great and the staff at the time were personable. They knew me. While I understand that business growth is inevitable, that doesnt mean you lose sight of your fundamentals.I thanked her for her time and proceeded to got to Great Clips. The hair stylist was exceptional. I was in and out within 15 minutes. The price was $13.00, which I gave $10.00 for tip. Not uncommon of my former visits to Headquarters where I was charged $20.00 for a haircut and tipped them an additional $20.00 for the great service.Given the recent string of failed attempts both in person and over the phone to get a haircut at least 30 if not an hour before they close, I dont think Ill be going back. Its a shame though. What made me want to come back wasnt the price but the service.If this has happened to me, I know others have experienced it too.At this point, just change your hours of operation to 7:30 and be appointment only. Because rejecting business which you advertise as walk-in is not only misleading, but disheartening as a consumer.To me they might as well have said no, we dont want your business. Were just fine.However I didnt want to just give it 1 star as my prior experiences when the place just opened were not like they are today.If you like this place then you appear to fit the ideal customer they want. Congratulations.
I am very weird about letting any one but my Barber at Guys Barber Shop to cut my hair . Well yesterday he was not in so I had to make the choice to go someplace else because I really needed a haircut and I was not disappointed in the cut here. Ashley did a very good job . Cut and Wash $18 before tip which is reasonable.
Have had two bad experiences in a row. All I get is a buzz cut. The same length over my whole head. Went there to get a simply cut and the lady missed a huge spot right in the back of my head. I could not see it. When I got home it was my wife that pointed it out. When I went back it took them over 25 mins to even see me to fix it. Figuring it was just a bad day I tried again a month later to get my hair cut again. Set an appointment for 5:30 pm. Walked in at 5:20 I was told just a few minutes let me go get her from the back. Sat there for 30 mins while watching 3 others get taken back before me. Finally at 5:50 I just walked out. Never going back again.
Nice decor, clean. TVs at every station. However, your experience is going to rely heavily on your stylist. Since my stylist (Chelsea) is awesome, Im rating 5 stars!
Until I met Renee at HQ I was always just a walk in client at whatever place was most convenient. Now I schedule my cuts around when she is available. Ive referred her to others and they now do the same. Shes a true professional and very kind. As long as shes at HQ Ill be at HQ.
Maybe I just got a newbee. Barely engaged in conversation. Asked me how I wanted my hair cut. Told her I wanted my top long and she cut it anyways. She did ask me if I liked the length of my beard and I said yes. She decided to cut that down as well... Way to listen. Honestly probably the worst haircut ive had since I can remember. Put my hat on as soon as I left until I can find someone to fix this. I mean it is what it is now, but I doubt Ill ever be going back.
Jasmin took great care of me, went above and beyond to make sure I got the exact look I wanted & the hot towel was a nice touch. I don’t trust a lot of people with my hair and I will definitely be coming back.
Tried this place out today and I have to say, that I will be returning again! Erin was awesome and she did a great job! A haircut is only as good as how you communicate how you want it.

I used to go here the service is pretty good haircuts are okay but lately the last three times Ive gone in just walk in Ive had to wait 40 minutes well they took it really had appointments apparently walk-ins are not welcome. I went in today on a Sunday thinking walk-ins Id have an opportunity I was told no openings today until they close so gamble with that or schedule for another day so I choose not to go there anymore

3:00 appointment, its 4:03 and still waiting for my son to get finished. They took him back at 3:45. Another customer with same complaint. Brought in 2 grandsons, one finished and shes now waiting again. Seems like theyre avoiding talking to those that are waiting. Seriously at least apologize and address it with those waiting.Customer Service 101. Last visit here. They just look at you and chat to each other.Hope his cut at least looks good.

Been here for a haircut and beard trim many times, Ive had nothing but awesome experiences every time!
Went there yesterday, I was helped right away. However, the barber spent little to no time actually cutting my hair, just blow drying for at least 10 minutes straight. I only ask for a half inch off of everything, and everything still came out uneven. This is the second time I was unpleased with the results from this location.
Tina was quick, and everything she did was amazing. Might have just earned a full time customer.

Say they can fade but really cant. Came in again to give them another chance and to find someone that can actually fade and three people told me to hold on and nobody gave me a straight answer and took people in while I sat and waited for over 30 min and no straight answer so I just left.

2021-10-25It’s extremely important to me to leave an honest review, and truthfully, this place is hit or miss. For the longest time I had my hair cut by Dani, and out of nowhere she disappeared. I called and they had no idea where she works now which was a huge disappointment. So since I’ve had quality haircuts here before, I thought that I would give a different hairdresser a try and that was a mistake. My advice is SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH A SPECIFIC PERSON! Read these reviews and pick a name, but do not let them choose for you as their least popular dressers have the most times available.
