Hibachi Grill and Buffet in other cities:
Very sub par. Food was picked over, and sparse. Plastic silverware.. stating COVID. Its two years in, not an excuse. Was dirty, and they were completely out of most desserts. Staff was rude, slow, unhelpful, and clearly couldnt understand even the simplest of requests. No plans of going back.
Well. Some of the food was good and sone of the food was not good. The hibachi grill was not at all clean. If you are a germ Greek and/or clean freak. Avoid this place. The server was very attentive. I do not like eating with plastic wear. Not worth the price for dinner. Will not come back. Too bad. It has great potential.
I have passed by this place numerous times and over memorial day weekend my family and I decided to try this place. Unfortunately this place by far is the **worst** Chinese buffet I have ever been to so far. The selection on the buffet was minimal. A lot of the items appeared to have been sitting and baking under the heat lamps for a very long time. The food was not changed out regularly. And even some of the chicken dishes were slightly under cooked. Since it was a Saturday and the place was fairly busy there is no reason not to keep the food fresh and stocked up on the buffet. And I have never been to a sit down restaurant and had to use plastic fork and spoon. Yes this place uses plastic utensils for indoor dining customers. For $15.00 per person this was not worth it at all. I would steer clear of this place at all cost. Trust me youll be disappointed. The pictures on their website makes this place look good and inviting but in reality it was a major let down when you visit it in person. If was able to give it a negative score it would be -3 stars.
Not much to choose from at the buffet. A LOT of empty pans. A good portion of the buffet was closed. Best food was the hibachi because it was fresh and hot. I didnt like the fact that it was pay first. I dont know if I would have eaten here if I had seen the empty buffet first.
Not impressed. Yes there was a good variety. The price was comparable. If you are expecting something like Bds Mongolian it not quite the same. There are no sauce options except soy sauce. Your best option is the ready made buffet area. The best thing is they are OPEN for indoor dining.
So much food to choose from. I love this restaurant. If you like a variety of food and all you can eat, this is the place. Theres seafood, chicken dishes, steak, sushi, mushrooms, noodles with shrimp and so much more, you get a large variety of desserts also. The price is reasonable. 😋
It is hard for me to give a local, small business, a failing mark, but I was very misled by the Hibachi Grills rating, so I want to try to set the record straight, and perhaps provide a few simple ideas that might help it in the future. You have to pay up front, before you eat. A wonderful grumpy lady, who was caged in a glass box, and was clearly there under duress, took our money. She was kind enough to answer our exasperating questions that were beneath her time and effort. With such a warm cheerful welcome, and starving empty stomachs, we decided to stay, and eat anyway. After deciding on our beverages up front, my wife and I paid the lady in the glass box thirty four dollars, and she was kind enough to provide us each with a plastic fork and spoon. I guess a plastic knife would be too tempting, and I dare not speculate what temptation it would provoke, but I guessed actual metal cutlery was not an option either, so I did not bother to ask for it.We were seated, and a nice person brought me a coke, and a timely refill later in our meal. The coke actually tasted good too. As of late, I have found more and more expensive restaurants fail to manage their soda fountains, and their drinks are unpalatable, so the coke tasted good. Which brings me to the food. Although the food was edible, I would not say that it reached the heights of good. Although they had a number of dishes, you didnt run the risk of paralysis of indecision from an abundance of choices. At a buffet, I like to select a little bit of everything until my plate is comfortably full. I eat my plate clean, and go back for more of what I liked from my first sampling, and sample that which I missed in my first outing. Sady, there was not much I cared to have more of, and there was even less that I felt I missed from my first sampling. The restaurant was clean, and even though the signs asking its guests not to waste food seems tasteless, I understand how a buffet might not bring out the conscientious eater in one. In the end, if you are like me, you only have time, and money, to eat out once in a while, so I have to say it will be a long while before I visit the Hibachi Grill and Buffet again.
Typical Asian buffet style restaurant. Pay before you sit, then its free-for-all. About 30% of the food did not look appetizing because it looked like it had sat there all day. Sushi was ok for being unlimited, but without soy sauce there wasnt much flavor. Unfortunately we got a glimpse of the cook in the kitchen with a lit cigarette. Atmosphere was not memorable and quite dim. They could easily be 4 stars if they put in a little more effort with food quality and flavor, as well as a revamped atmosphere.
Our last visit there was unfortunately literally our last visit. The restaurant appeared unclean. Waitstaff was walking around but not tending to customers or the buffet. So much has changed from pre-covid times. This used to be a great buffet. On this last visit, food items were not replenished at a rate that kept up with customer demand. Food quality has decreased (one example-coconut shrimp was pasty and lacked any flavor). Food areas in general were not kept clean despite few customers being there. We were given a plastic fork and knife as utensils. Staff did not come to our table (nor did we see them go to anyone elses table) to offer refills on water or beverages despite milling around all the tables. For at least half our meal one staff person stood next to a table not far from ours complaining to another staff person about something. We will NOT be back. We used to love this place. So sad.
Im usually the one over critical of low reviews and try the place for myself. The quality of the food and its flavor has dropped off. I would be embarrassed to say i made meat so chewy and fatty for my family. Its bad enough that I will not come back again. Hope this helps you and your family spend your hard earned money at a place that cares about what it feeds its customers.
Customer Service is not that great. The grill was too DIRTY! I never seen her even clean the grill after using it for multiple dishes. However I did see that they kept their dishes refilled along with the drinks. The restroom was horrible. Their was no toilet paper and napkins were everywhere toilets were clogged and only one stall was open that day. We repeatedly told workers about the restroom but nothing changed.
This buffet was one of the worst Ive been too. The food was terrible. The only thing that was decent was the mashed potatoes. What really turned me off was hair in the mushrooms at the hamachi grill station...gross! Mostly everything I tried got spat out in my napkin, I couldnt muster up the manners to swallow. Sorry not sorry.
Nice place to eat at. Even though its a buffet, we just sat down with our 1st plate of food. My husband became very ill and they wouldnt let us take out to go boxes. He ended up in the hospital and what few bites of food I had was all I had that day. A to-go box would have been wonderful. But no such luck.
This was my first experience at this restaurant, I came with myself and three family members. On the way to be seated there was vomit on the floor; half covered in paper towel. Many of the tables were dirty and food splattered on the floor underneath, plastic forks... no other silverware. I can say Ive never had a reason to walk out of a restaurant but this was the first.. the food was not fresh or cooked well. My group left quickly after taking a few bites.
These people were so awesome I got there late today because it was my birthday and I was trying to gather as many people as I could to celebrate with me and they were still so nice to me and still brought us out fresh food to the buffet and even let me practice my Chinese LOL well definitely be back we love you guys
Wish they can put little more efforts. The guy at the front desk must be going through a rough day. Least he bothered to offer any greetings. Paid up front. There seems some kind of jinx. Perhaps the entire staff had something going bad or they were just not there for you. Three stars for food and people who work there.Food was just alright. Orange chicken, Salmon and dumplings was good.Sushi was alright.Desserts - less than good.. just fair enough. To restaurant: Guys, you can do much better. There is a lot of scope for improvements in all areas. I am sure you are doing good business. Perhaps you can do great!!
Food was horrible and greasy. Although we paid and barely had 1 plate, we left within 15 minutes. The food was not fresh. This was one time I wanted my money back. I feel for them becuase maybe covid has changed the way they have to prepare food. They had a sign that made me think serve leftovers often. The place was clean. My Sierra mist was fresh. I wish i wouldve taken pics.
They were short staffed so wouldnt allow us to dine in, only take out from the buffet. The food wasnt bad quality considering we just stuffed a box full and left. The location is good. Lots of parking available. The service is standard average service youd expect to get at a buffet place.
My husband loves this place, I like it too but whenever we decide to go out to eat, this is is first choice! LolIts about $16 per person, and they have a great variety of foods, and theres even a build-your-own stir fry where you select what you want on a plate, give it to the cook, select the sauce you would like and they make it in front of you, sort of like Mongolian BBQ.
Post Covid 19 its not quite the same. One gald of the restaurant is closed off, and they dont have all the same food they use to. The food is still amazing and the service is pretty good. The only buffet that I know who had superman ice-cream. Also they have crayfish... The prices are $8 for a child under 7 then $10 for 10-11 year olds then adult price for 12 year old. Adult price is $13.99M-F and $15.99 weekends all day
Everyone liked their food, and the atmosphere was, on the whole, very nice. There were a few small issues, though. When we got seated, there were still crumbs on the table, they miscounted on fortune cookies, straws, etc., and the hostess gave the feeling that she had better things to do than deal with customers. On the whole, though,, while these took away from five stars, it was still an overall pleasant experience.
One helpful piece of advice I could give to anyone reading my review, is to avoid going to this restaurant in the evening, especially during the weekend. Food was always empty. Seafood wasnt really delicious, and it took a long time for the staff to fulfill the empty trays at the buffet station. I left them a good tip because I saw how the waiters there worked hard, but would not come back.
I have never had a bad experience here until today. They charged 30 dollars for stale cold food. I asked which sushi was cooked and the lady nodded at me and turned back around and walked into the kitchen. There was a bunch of people without mask serving themselves. There were people coughing and blowing their noses and going back over to the buffet! The food was limited as well!! I’m not sure if they clean the dishes well or not but After I drunk my drink my throat instantly got irritated! For me that was a red flag 🚩 to leave. They definitely need to be shut down and get it together. Covid is still existent! If they even hear a cough they need to be having those people leave especially knowing these people are serving themselves and over the food and touching the same utensils. I was not comfortable eating there.
Hibachi grill is truly one of the Little treasures that I found for $15 you can eat all that your heart desires, from a wide variety of foods. Its mainly western style Asian cuisine along with food for the kids like pizza or chicken nuggets french fries and a nice assortment of desserts. The service is five stars the staff are friendly and as I said before for $15 for the Saturday dinner menu plan to leave stuffed!!
Once upon a time, this place was bustling and with many many delicious options that just kept coming. Lunch today was disappointing. The food was stale and greasy. I am so disappointed because I spent almost $40 for Sunday and there was literally nothing within the first hour of opening.COVID hit businesses hard, but restaurants, especially buffets need to switch up their tactics to keep things fresh.Safe to say we have decided to never return.
This place was never in my list of places to go. In the past few years Ive only came to this restaurant 4 times. It is the dirtiest restaurant Ive ever seen. Every single time Ive eaten here, I have gotten food poisoning. I really hesitated to eat anything after I saw how dirty the grill was. I literally wanted a refund after seeing the grill. The food at the buffet looked like it wasnt refrigerated or cooked properly. Please do not eat here if you wish your life could be shortened by a few years.
They were quite busy, so it was understandable that there were some food trays that were empty of very low. The food that we did get was very good. Our waitress was very attentive to our drinks and empty plates. The only downfall was a group that was there, with their kids running all over the place the whole time, almost knocking people over. Very disruptive. Other than that, it was a good experience
This is the only buffet style restaurant I really eat at, my favorite dish is the noodles & have only had a couple experiences where they didnt keep up well with the replacing of the dishes. (Usually only during really busy times, which I understand how that can be sometimes) sushi here is very sub par & limited, so this isnt a place you go to for the sushi. The hibachi grill woman tends to be kind of rude sometimes, pressures you into tipping & just does whatever she wants to your food if you dont. Some of my friends have tried going through the hibachi grill multiple times with similar experiences & sometimes resulting in their dish being ruined so they just eat the buffet food. Waiting staff is pretty good with keeping up on the refills & are friendly. Overall, place is okay.
I’ve been at this restaurant a lot of times, I usually go once a month or once every two months. It’s a decent buffet in the Westland area. The reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because sometimes they take a long time to refill the trays and sometimes the food is cold off the tray while the tray is placed in the warmer area.So if you want a really high quality buffet then I don’t think this place serves your expectations but if you’re ok having an average meal with a reasonable price then yes you should stop by.
Was here on 10/3/21 and let me just be honest and say dont waste your time coming here. The food was ok and the service was ok as well however the reason why this place only got one star from us is that the whole time me and my wife was eating here they didnt not once refill any of the foods. When I first got here to the time we left they didnt refill any of the empty dishes they were serving which I counted about 7 or 8. There wouldve been more to choose from however doe to not refilling their dishes the choices were VERY VERY VERY limited. Not happy at with the food service here and I hope that they correct this issue in the future for other visitors but as for us we wont be coming back.
Came here on a Saturday on a whim and was very pleased. Even at the more expensive weekend price its still a very affordable option. You pay as soon as you walk in which is really convenient. The buffet has a lot of options ranging from tasty vegetables and fruit to meats and seafood and fried foods. Youre not going to run out of different things you want to try. The buffet and seating areas were clean and even though it was pretty full the sound was well controlled and it didnt feel crowded.
After having not going out to eat over a year, the food was good. I took my 19 year old and we arrived around 8pm. They were still putting out freshly cooked food and someone was still making sushi as well as manning the hibachi grill. The food selection was the same as I remembered though but still good.
The quality has really gone down. The selection is no where near what it was and the prices have gone up slightly. I have 2 young kids, 6 and 8, and spent almost $60 on dinner for the 4 of us. For that price at a buffet in Michigan, I expect more and better. Plus it was hot inside.
Lunch buffet is just 8USD. You have lots of food choice including hibachi, sushi, classic American-Chinese food. The cheese spinach is my favorite dish. My friends keep saying that my eating habit is strongly different from a traditional Chinese. Whatever. I love cheese. I can eat 2-3 plates of this stuff.
Services are not good and Manager is so rude. Food varieties are very less and not worth for the money $14.99 on weekend. I asked manger for allergenic information, she didn’t provide any information and asked to check labels on the food items. Restaurant is using more plastic providing plastic cups, plastic spoons, forks.Soups are not food both egg soup and hot& Sour soup, tastelessNo person is available to provide information about the food and allergy precautions.
So we were excited that this place was open, However its sad to say the just need to shut there doors. The time we got there no food was out. We actually had to pick throughout the food the whole experience. I suggest no take out orders because that makes it worst. Or at least only let several people at time. That way staff can keep up with the food.
I took my fiancé here for his bday. It was our first time here. There wasn’t much food to choose from because a lot of the trays were empty. The rice was crunchy & under cooked. My sister & her bf had a plate grilled for them they both literally spit their food out bc it was so under cooked & nasty. Not only was the food trash but two of the workers started arguing with each other in front of everyone. When I went to get my rice & steak grilled for me the lady literally threw my plate at me. Horrible I will never go back again.
The salad bar was a joke the lettuce wasnt diced in small enough pieces to eat no diced eggs, ham or pepperoni, onions were huge and needed to cut in smaller pieces. Also very small selection of vegetables. No scallops or chicken pieces on the raw bar for for the grill side limited veggies also. No sauces that you could look at and choose from. The sauce l chose was garlic, the woman at the grill when my food was a few seconds from done grabbed a container of minced garlic and tossed a spoonful onto my food on the. grill l asked her about sauces and thanked her when l picked up our plates but she NEVER SPOKE A WORD. The food on the buffet side was all good tasting but was on the cool side definitely not up to temperature standards. 👎🏼
Just ordered delivery from this place. The sesame chicken was undercooked and of poor quality. The food was packaged very poorly and there was a puddle of grease at the bottom of the bag. I was unable to finish my meal and Im going to pray that I dont get food poisoning from what I did eat.
Its hard to survive after covid so I will give it 4.The sushi wasnt good at all and there was no one to refill the bar.The salmon was very good but it took time to be refilled. The shrimp was nice.I didnt try the meat or the chicken but my friend did. I was hoping to find to different options. The desset was ok with very limit and wasnt that good.
They are doing a great job during this covid-19 epidemic. They serve you st the buffet. There is slightly less choices but all still great and the sushi is good as always. $11.99 all day long and $13.99 on weekends. Past three times we went it wasnt busy at all. Just dont go around closing because its hard to get served then.
You have to pay for your meal first. The food in the buffet was cold. They did not have someone that came around to at least stir the food and keep it warm. I hate I ordered drinks because ALL our cups were dirty. I gave it 2 stars because they did have a large variety of food. But we wont be going back. 30 dollars wasted.UPDATE: We have went back since the pandemic and I was pleasantly surprised with the food selection. We just carry out and the price point was good. About 5.89 a pound for a regular carry out.
The food here is very good and the employees are calm and professional, but the cleanliness of this place us horrid. I visit here often with my family and on a lot of instances there has been vomit in the toilets. There has also been flies all over the deserts area. It was disgusting and I do wish that I had notified them before I left. The only problem here for me us the cleanliness other than that I really do enjoy it here.
In this time of Covid-19, the Hibachi Buffet was a double treat. If you dont mind wearing your mask and some loose fitting gloves to get your food, the buffet was kind of a blast from the past. And the entré selection, while not extensive, was fresh and of quite good quality. The cost for lunch with a refilled soft drink came in at just over $14, which I considered to be well worth the trip.
Place is a joke.. Been craving Hibachi for months now and come to find out they raised their lunch prices from $8.99 to $12.99 without any incentive coupon like they offered before the pandemic. I know everyone is struggling right now and trying to make ends meet but come on mang....
This is honestly one of the weirdest restaurants I have ever been to, but I would definitely come back. You walk in, and stand in line to get entry into the buffet. You also have to show a waitress where you are seated. If you order drinks, they will bring it to your table and ask you to show a receipt. The buffet section looks extremely sleek and modern. It feels as if it was professionally designed (it probably was). Here is all the dishes that arent sushi, and they are all delicious. The food is amazing, and the meat is halal if it isnt pork (this is what I have been told). There is a sushi bar, and they have at least 10 types of sushi. Grab as many as you want, because they are all good. The bathroom is clean, too.I left this place quite confused because I wondered how they turned a profit. The place is huge, as in large enough to be a grocery store huge. I think it was a grocery store, or perhaps a department store that closed. Weirdly enough, I think it was a department store that closed. Anyway, the food is good and we had no issues, so I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good Asian food.
Nice selection. Not everything is as hot as youd like but its a buffet with a couple dozen selections. Overall, a pleasant experience . Our server worked hard to keep our water glasses full. Used plate removal was a but slow but I suspect that our server had a wide area to cover. This is a pretty big restaurant.
Decent food, nice atmosphere, fair price. Nothing at all fancy here, but good food for an Asian buffet. The buffet includes sushi and the grill, drinks are extra. Jasmine tea is bottomless for $1. They open at 11am and about half of the food is out at that time. The rest rolls out over the next hour. If you shoot for 1130-noon youll get a chance at all of the food and it isnt too crowded.I gave this place 4 stars for what it is, a fair priced Asian Buffet. The food alone would really be 2.5-3 stars compared to a good restaurant, but dont let that stop you from filling your belly here. The place is clean and the food seems fresh.
Friendly faces and tasty food!😍I particularly liked this buffet because it had a little bit of everything and then some! They had all my favorites and a few things I had not tried before. We are not from this area and like to travel far and wide to try something new. This location looks like it has been around awhile and for good reason! It may look like it use some updating but dont let that stop you from enjoying some really good food!😜🍙🍜🥠
They are observing social distancing rules which is a plus, they have you wear plastic gloves when handling the serving utensils. Now for the food, I love it so much! Particulary the mushrooms in oyster sauce, their lo mein noodles and their general tso chicken. I love their hibachi grill as well. 10/10 would definitely recommend!
I wish I could give this place negative stars because the Health Department needs to shut this place down ASAP!!!! The sushi is not labeled so you have no idea if the rolls have raw fish or if they are vegetarian. While I was at the sushi counter most of the sushi did not have tongs. When I was trying to get a piece of the sushi, with a clean fork, the staff member that was coming out of the kitchen came right up to me and started yelling at me in another language. She then started motioning for me to use a pair of tongs from another plate of sushi! That is cross contamination!! When I asked for a clean pair of tongs I was ignored! A good portion of the seafood and the meat my boyfriend and I had on our plates was so undercooked we couldnt even eat it. The other food was so bland it wasnt worth the $30 we spent. Not to mention about 20 minutes after we left my boyfriend became severely sick to his stomach. (This was the only meal he had eaten today) We will never be coming back to this restaurant!
Kudos for this family business surviving covid, and the staff being super friendly and attentive; but I was used to this being a bright, cheery establishment serving American cuisine--hand carved ham with pineapple sauce and juicy sliced roast beef, an extensive salad bar that could be a meal unto itself, a dessert bar ranging from cookies to cakes to brownies and tarts and selfserve soft ice cream with over a dozen different toppings. This restraunt is basically an ok Chinese establishment with some traditional American dishes.
The decor could use an update or a good cleaning and repairs or replacement. The food quality is starting to decline. Under cooked food and over cooked food was set out on the bar. Our children have started to notice a difference over the years. We really use to enjoy eating here and would like to continue. I will report back with an update in a couple months.
Taste meal. Food is not always hot but its rather tasty. Lighting is rather poor. It was fairly crowed on the evening of my visit. The food was continuously brought out. The restaurant decor needs a lot of updating. The booths are in dire need of refurbishing. May booth had tears on the seat and back.
The family and I go there often. Cheap eats and pretty darn tasty! Not always the friendliest service. But since you mostly serve yourself, you dont have to interact too long. Great variety. Nice sushi bar. They have a hibachi grill where fresh foods can be cooked to order! All in all its great value!
The food isn’t *that* good, but it isn’t *that* bad either. Although I’ll admit the quality has improved in recent years. People are posting that it’s declining but I’ve been going here for years and it’s improved imo. Sushi and hibachi are solid, nothing incredible, but solid. This is a run of the mill buffet, just average quality food in bulk amounts that will put you into a food coma upon leaving. If you’re fat, or Just like to smash a ton of food, this place slaps for that very reason. If you’re looking for really good food, do yourself a favor and go to ten yen instead.
The buffet food was acceptable, but nothing special. The grill was good, but the cook was surly. The worker restocking the buffet was rude, ignoring questions, pushing in front of people, and slamming the food bins into steam table. The baked desserts were prepackaged and desiccated. None of the staff were cheerful. I wonder what management is like and what the staff is paid. We wont be returning.
Too good to be true. Service was pretty good. However, the vast majority of foods left something to be desired. Some of the good was way too salty, and most of it tasted the same for the most part. Dessert was good, everyone at my table loved the ice cream. Just there was no wow factor/food that would keep me coming back.
One of my favorite places to eat. Every once in a while the food wont taste as good as usual. But 98% of the time food is excellent. Staff seems robotic, not much conversationalist, and they check on you a few times, but seems like sometimes you can be forgotten easily and have to wave someone down to get a refill (or whatever). Other times they ask you if you need a refill as they zoom by. Food is so good most of the time i cant help but give at least 4 stars. Havent tried the grill yet though.
Food is pretty good for a buffet. The food is refreshed pretty often and they even have a habachi grill to build your own meal and a nice sized sushi bar for those that it eat. About 44$ for 2 adults and 2 kids on a Sunday. They wont verbally tell you but a party of 6 (I believe) or more has 10% added to your bill for your server. There is never really a wait either so all around pretty good deal.
I have had 2/3 bad experiences .I came late in the evening . A lot of the trays were empty . And no one was refilling them. Some of the food tastes very expired. Another time I came and ate the noodles and regular spaghetti noodles were used. Very disappointed. That and the bathroom is never kept clean
The food was good, the dessert bar though was cheap & everything tasted disgusting, dry, & like the dollar store. Overall I would much rather go elsewhere due to the cost being 50 dollars for a family of 4 with two children to get in, for that kind of money I expect much better quality food. Old country buffet was soo much better.
This place keeps going downhill. I go there for my kids and for the sushi. There was no sushi to speak of and the food is not for the person who likes finer food. It is kid friendly but if you want ice cream try buying it after you leave from somewhere else. I know it is a buffet but even a buffet has different levels of refinement.I keep saying I will never go back but the kids like it.
I give one star because the place was clean. But the food...yikes. It was horrid. I love Chinese food more than myself but this place was not good. Food was either warmish or cold. Didn’t taste good at all. Tasted bland. The crab Rangoon’s taste of old cream cheese and that’s it. All of us order water. Two got water. One got iced and charged for it. But it was only $1.60 so not the biggest of deals. The food just tasted old by weeks. No one came to fill up the water either. The servers seemed to worry more about socializing then taking care of customers. Walked by us multiple times and haven’t even asked to refill water or take plates. Just glances then walks straight to friends/coworkers. I wouldn’t recommend but to each their own.
The first time we came here I wasnt too impressed. Most of the food was empty and they never refilled it. There cashier was incredibly rude and so was the hostess. The second time was much better. We came on a Sunday afternoon. The food was great and the staff was polite.
The food is usually great, the service is usually decent but tonight they didnt keep the food filled, no dishes, ran out of dressing, cocktail sauce & when you ask them to refill them their reply Its not my station no ice cream, no bowls, then they put more ice cream out still no bowls..people were using plates!! And no scoop so they were using the tiny plastic spoons. I hope they improve or theyre going to loose business..worst visit ever!!
Well the price seemed right, but after we sat down then we were able to view what to eat. By the seafood there were flies walked past ice cream looked like it had been there for months most of food was very little to pick from their so called Prime rib was in about 3 inches of brown water. Some of the food was some what good
Its not at all like the Asian buffets that I normally dred. This is a pretty decent restaurant. The sushi is pretty amazing and made to order, if you desire. It is clean and the staff is friendly. Everything is organized and neatly laid out. Did I mention clean? The food is delicious. I will definitely be back.
It had everything we look for- comfortable, family-friendly, good food, and the kids loved it. Prices were just normal. Service is great- confident and polite. Others have said the food is just so-so. However, its a freaking Japanese/Chinese buffet. When are those types of places ever the best food around? You almost always sacrifice a little quality for major quantity at places like these.
Food was good, could be hotter, same fare as most Chinese buffets. Good cabbage egg rolls and great crab rangoons. The hibachi was good, needs another sauce choice or two, sushi was good, a bigger variety would be nice. They most certainly need a new white rice cooking and storage method, rice cookers maybe.... It is dry and very clumpy. Place was busy, didnt even get refills on drinks. Would still go again.
Three or four years back this with a five star restaurant now is worse than low grade dog food. The only thing good about this restaurant is the bathrooms were clean. this is the worst tasting Chinese buffet Ive ever ate in in my life. the one in Sterling heights with the same name is a thousand times better than this
The Hibachi Grill Supreme Buffet is a great restaurant! There is plenty of parking outside. The staff is engaged and interested. The food is kept hot and fresh on the buffet. They have an amazing variety of food – Chinese, Japanese and American. Traditional and unique. They have a great selection of Sushi. It is kept fresh and is masterfully made. The grill they have their offers Hibachi items and some Mongolian dishes – it is limited primarily by the great ingredients they have on hand and your imagination.I like eating here because the environment is festive and welcoming. The wait staff are always eager to assist me and I appreciate that. The tables and dining area are kept neat and clean. I enjoy the décor.
Saturday Night, an OK selection on Buffet. Most dishes are luke warm, not hot as they should be. Service is attentive, but not friendly. The host took us to our table, pointed, he was on the phone the whole time he seated us.If you are looking for a good Chinese Buffet, I would suggest you move past this one and keep looking.
This place stays busy.! It has a huge variety of food...from Sushi to American choices. It is reasonably priced. Drinks are never ending. Wait staff is accomadating and keeps the place clean. Deserts arent great as in most all you can eat. Great place to take your family, especially if you have hungry teenage boys.
Me and my daughter went there cause it was across from the movies and we had amost 2 hours before our show started. The food was not good. It was alot of people there and the food just wasnt appealing. It was the typical buffet food. It wasnt worth the $12.95. The decor is dark and the place definitely needs an update.
If I could give this establishment 0 starts I would! Decided to give this buffet a try over the weekend and it has left me feeling sick for the past two days since I dined here. Food did not taste fresh and the atmosphere did not feel clean at all. I have not ever had a problem where the food at any restaurant has made me feel stick. I have had an upset stomach for the past two days and NEVER will I ever dine here or any Chinese buffet ever. One taste of their shrimp pasta and I was about ready to hurl. Staff is rude and unattentive.

2021-12-28The place was good looking and the price for thre buffet was more than acceptable. There is a very big selection of Asian cuisine including sushi and hibachi, but the hibachi section was closed during my visit. A dinner buffet is 13.99 plus 2 if you want any soda or soft drink. Water is included. Over all it was a great meal and for the price is excellent. I would recommend this to most people since there is also American food and meats for everyones liking.

2021-12-11I like it! We have a lot of family events here. The buffet is nice 3 stars but I really like where they make the Hibachi rice fresh and hot 4 stars, sometimes 5.

2022-05-25Food there was nasty and the place was very run down. Couldnt even eat the Mac and cheese or cheesey spinach. Cheese was sour. Fried chicken was mushy like it had been sitting out all day. Egg rolls tasted off. Sushi was warm and discolored. This is the first time Ive been to a restaurant and had to leave to make myself puke because I didnt want food poisoning. I absolutely would not eat here. To make it better they had signs asking not to waste food. People arent eating it because its disgusting. Im guessing this place used to be good by the reviews but its not now.

2021-11-28Food was not fresh. Not much options in hibachi, 2 stars for the sushi. Half the things were finished which was not refilled throughout the lunch. No tags for the food, and the lady did not understand english. Would not recommend.

2022-03-07For a buffet, its top-notch. Easily one of the best selections of hot and ready food in town. Quality of the food is great for buffet-style dining. There is a hibachi counter, and a selection of basic sushi rolls too. The place is kept clean and presentable, and food is fresh, including the raw ingredients for cooking on the hibachi. My parents and I meet here for lunch nearly every Sunday and we always enjoy our experience.

2022-02-25Last night was my first time and my last time at this facility.I gave it 2 stars because it’s not the worst place I’ve ever been to. It could have been much better though.I walked in and got seated. There was food everywhere on the floor where they seated me.Went and got some food. Most of it looked like it had been sitting there all day. Some of it actually stuck to the bottoms of the pans.I waited over 10 mins for my drink that I ordered. I will say that the waitress was very apologetic (without me even saying anything), for the wait. Some of the food tasted so old that I didn’t even eat it.I also want to mention that it looked like a over every seating area they have a paper that talks about helping a small business stay afloat by not wasting food.If they didn’t want to waste food they should maybe consider managing their portions to suite their business so that the food is somewhat fresh and actually edible. I also want to mention that when I asked if they were going to make more of certain things, they did. Those things actually weren’t that bad.So I feel that if the food was fresh and the place was a bit cleaner maybe my experience here while I was in town would have been better. 🤷♀️

2021-05-11Wow. I took my parents and wife here to eat Mother’s Day. I was expect the worst because of the location. How surprised I was. None of the food was cold. Everything was hot. Fried rice was soft too. Place was clean. Good English hostess. Nice! Too bad they were located too far away from me. I only gave it 4 stars because the Hibachi cook burned my food. He should be better. Plus, the hibachi area did not have a bell 🛎. I waited for like 5 min before someone saw me and came to my cooking aid.Still, highly recommend.

2022-06-24Not very many choices and what they did have was the bottom of the pan! We literally had to scrape the bottom of the pan to get something, with no replacements coming. Food was not hot all. It was dry and no telling how long it had been sitting there. The quality of food was null and definitely void - just not good at all! And the thing about it is - it used to be good on other occasions. I spoke to the cashier who said to me; you ate, right? Yes, I ate, but not to the level of what you would call a buffet! You had no acceptable choices at this place. People, my suggestion is DO NOT GO to this restaurant! You will be more than disappointed! If I could give negative stars to this place - I would!

2022-05-06Walked in and there was a couple ahead of us. The guy behind counter took care of the couple and seated them. When he came back to cash register, he looked at us, mind you we were the only ones in line, picked up a plate of food he had behind the counter, left us standing there and walked away. We stood there for approximately 10 minutes while he went to the back. How do I know he was eating.....when he came back to the register, he was still chewing his food. My husband had already said, Lets go. Well find somewhere else to eat. I was not about to leave. I wanted to SHARE MY THOUGHTS ON WHAT JUST TOOK PLACE. Oh yes, I had plenty to say.I DO NOT recommend this place. Its a buffet, no sanitizer out, people coughing over the food, kids touching different things, I could go on and on. We will never go back.
