Easy to get to, plenty of parking, professional receptionist and High Tech Diagnostic tools.It was apparent that the he Dr. have read the notes from the referring Dr., no guessing or starting from scratch. He explained the procedure, then explained the results.Back to Dr. Schleimer
The front desk lady welcomed me with friendly smile and the person who tested me patiently administered the test, which revealed why I have difficulty hearing what my wife says - from time to time. Very helpful!
Sean explained very clearly why I should wear my hearing aides daily. His words have motivated me to wear them much more frequently than I have been.
A pleasure from start to finish. I felt Sean took all the time necessary to conduct a thorough examination and to explain the results to me completely. He clearly explained my options for hearing improvement devices, and I felt I got the straight scoop, not a sales pitch. He spent a lot of time working with me to nail down the proper fit, comfort and details around my selection. The follow up fitting and orientation was equally satisfying, and in general, I couldnt be happier. I truly feel comfortable contacting Hinderliter with any questions or concerns that might arise in the future. I would highly recommend them to others.
I was referred to Dr. Hinderliter and for good reason, her reputation is absolutely second to none. It was wonderful working with Kristin and her staff, understanding what I needed, reviewing and comparing options, costs, pros, cons, availability, etc. and how they were able to customize a (hearing protection) solution that worked perfectly for me in the various environments I needed. She and her staff are attentive, easy to communicate with, and a delight to work with. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend her to both friends and family.
Fantastic facility with state of the art audio sensory equipment. The appointment was prompt and professional. The doctor was knowledgeable and personable. What was really impressive was that she put my mind at ease regarding some strange symptoms that I was having and wasnt trying to sell me on additional services. Super trustworthy. I am so happy to have found this office! The audiologist was excellent. Due to my profound deafness, I have to rely more on lipreading. I was able to understand her without any difficulty. In addition to doing everything she could to make things happen quickly, she explained everything to me in a very simple way. Overall, it was a great experience.

I visited Hinderliter for a hearing exam and impressions for custom earplugs and had a great experience! I received great and friendly service and very good prices. There is a big difference between Hinderliter and the mega operations like Mich Ear. The large organizations have become very impersonal and their prices for hearing aids are above Hinderliter. My audiologist, Sean Sorrow was technically great and extremely pleasant to work with.

Hinderliter Hearing repaired my hearing aids after my old company went out of business. Recently, I had my hearing tested and my hearing aids adjusted. I was very comfortable there and my hearing aids are as good as new. The staff is friendly and very competent.
The audiologist that I was going to closed down, so I moved over to Hinderliter. The office is nice and clean, the waiting is typically minimal till you get called back. The rooms are nice, with all the technology to run your hearing checks or the small tools for ear cleaning etc.The Dr, doesnt rush you, but listens to what your thinking, and if you feel things have stayed the same or gotten worse. The DR also makes you comfortable and explains everything she is going to do.
I have been working with Kristin for over 17 years and have referred a number of friends and family members to her. She is very easy to work with and wants to make sure you are always happy with the hearing aids. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and appreciated

Everyone at this office was wonderful! No pressure. I wasnt sure if I needed hearing aides. I seem to always have a slight hearing issue. As it turned out my hearing is not that bad. Kristin suggested checking again in about one year. She also said that if I wanted 100% hearing - a hearing aide could do that too. So I had the choice. I will revisit in one year. I loved Kristins honesty!
I can not express enough what a great experience I had with Hinderliter Hearing Services. The care, compassion and kindness of Kristen and her staff was outstanding and I highly recommend them. They were very patient during a very trying time for me. I had sudden and acute hearing loss. They loaned me hearing aids while I dealt with an ENT with the hopes of getting my hearing restored.

Kristin Hinderliter has been my Audiologist for over ten years and in my opinion she is the best! She is a consummate professional. Her approach is to service your hearing aid needs in acomfortabe non rushed manner.She is very patient and takes time to explain your hearing problems in a clear and understanding way. She will spend as much time as necessary with you to solve any problem you have with your hearing aids initially or that might develop. There are two other members of my family that are satisfied clients.An example of her above and beyond dedication is when she personally came to my home to resolve a connection problem I was having with my hearing aid/TV Streamer.
My audiologist closed her practice and I was able to get in to see Dr. Hinderliter very quickly. Dr. Hinderliter and her staff were terrific in taking over my care and giving me confidence that my hearing needs will be well taken care of. Most Amazing Audiologist we have ever been too. I brought my 91 year old mother-in-law here, and where others said things were not possible and they made it possible. She is hearing better than ever, having normal conversations without yelling, going to restaurants and can actually interact with people. I transferred here after my audiologist retired. I have been treated especially well. I was given a complimentary visit, assessment and cleaning. The entre staff was friendly and helpful. But wait -- theres more.After a few months, my right hearing aid became muted and I could not correct it. They not only cleared that up but looked at my other aid and found it was broken where the stem met the hearing aid. She looked at my warranty and found it had expired a few days earlier. Nonetheless she repaired it complimentary. She also consulted with me about my grandsons recently discovered hearing deficit and agreed to review the charts and advise us on our next steps. Whats not to like!
When looking for hearing aids, I highly recommend them, as products are very similar from company to company, what separates Hinderliter is their knowledge and customer service. As fitting and customer service are paramount to ensuring your satisfaction and success....
I highly recommend Hinderliter Hearing Services. They have a compassionate customer service approach. I went in with a problem and Angie, the Audiologist, fixed my problem immediately. She called later to make sure everything was working properly. Please don’t hesitate to try them out. They are wonderful!

I am so happy that I switched to Hinderliter Hearing Services. Both Kristin and Laurie are fantastic Audiologists. I previously used BAA in Bloomfield, but recently I called them because the tip of my hearing aid came off in my ear canal. I called in the morning, told them what happened and they said they couldn’t take me that day (suggested I go to a CVS minute clinic), I was shocked! It would take 5 min MAX to remove the tip from my canal, which had happened in the past and previous staff took me right away. With Laurie, the audiologist I use to go to at BAA gone and this utter lack of patient care, I called Hinderliter. Told them about the tip in my ear and that I wold like to transfer to them. They asked if I can come in 5 min before they started back up for lunch. When I walked in, there was Laurie Long my previous Audiologist and others I recognized from BAA. I am now a patient here and feel welcome and important when I walk in the door. Just to be fair, but still not defensible, BAA said they couldn’t take me because their audiologist just had surgery and could not twist her wrist to remove tip. However, that was same reason a few weeks back when I asked for hearing aid to be cleaned was told they couldn’t do it. How can you run a hearing aid service and not have a staff member who can take care of small patient care items? Use Hindeliter and have qualified and personalized attention!
If you want to be taken care of by the BEST audiologist in the northwest suburbs, Kris is the person to see. She took my two year old hearing aids, bought elsewhere, and programmed them to function in ways that they never before did. Everyone in the office is professional and thoughtful. They truly care about you. Its like being part of a warm, welcoming family.
My 96 year-old client goes there for her hearing aids and they are amazing! They pinpoint the deficits and then address them directly and her hearing is almost normal with their assistance. I would recommend them for anybody that is looking for hearing aids! They are the best.
I’ve been seen Dr Hinderliter for over a year, she fitted me with a pair of hearing aids that made my wife very happy because I stoped asking her “ what did she say “ , that was my problem, I couldn’t hear the softvoices. They have Candy in the waiting room! Also, shes incredibly nice kind and very informative as to why things squeak and whine and is always asking if this hurts or not to make sure she is doing it in a pain free manner. The best audiologist Ive been going for a while now. If something doesnt work she can fix it quickly and her technicians and receptionists are always very nice.

I had ringing in my ears and was told that hearing aids would help.I didn’t believe it but boy was I wrong!! This is the best thing I haveever done. When I first went to the Hinderliter Services, I was almost completely deaf. I didnt think Kristen could help me. I already had 2 surgeries, and nothing worked.I was turned away from Michigan Institute, as not being able to help at that time. I couldnt hear a simple conversation across the table, my life was just silence. My son encouraged me to try one more time. Kristen found the right heating aids for me, and I will forever be thankful! Hearing the car motor as we drove away, the birds and my grandchildren, what a blessing. This is a noisy world. I would recommend her services to everyone with hearing troubles.

After receiving minimal service from my original hearing aid provider I was fortunate enough to find HHS. In one session they fixed a broken aid, adjusted both to match the results of the hearing test completed during the same appointment and was able to get me back to almost normal hearing. My wife is super happy that we can both watch TV at a normal sound level.
My visit to Hinderliters Services was great, Kristin is very thorough and caring, she adjusted my hearing aid, Im hearing so much better now, I look forward to seeing Kristin and her staff knowing that I will be taken care of.

2022-07-15I recently purchased hearing aids from Hinderliter Hearing Services in Birmingham, Michigan. Dr. Hinderliter and her staff are wonderful people. To a person, they could not have been more accommodating, courteous and helpful. Dr. Hinderliter was very professional but also kind at the same time. She gave me her total attention and unrestricted time each time I visited her office and answered all of my questions. I was given a pair of hearing aids to “test out” before placing my order. That was most helpful. Plus, I’ve been invited to call the office anytime I have a question. Because of who they are, I feel that they sincerely meant that. I highly recommend them!!

2022-06-17We came to Hinderliter Hearing Services for my wife, but since there is a lot of hearing issues in my family I thought that I would be tested as well. I found Hinderliter Hearing Services to be professional, polite and helpful. From the moment you walk in the door you are met by friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help staff. From the receptionist to the clinician to the checkout my experience was Great! Honest, forthright and upfront I would have No problem recommending Hinderliter Hearing Services to anyone! 2022-05-06After years of resistance from my father to explore other hearing aid options and his skepticism that his current challenges were due to aging, I was finally able to convince him to get another opinion. And we are so happy we did! Shawn was amazing! His ability to connect with my father and understand his needs, explain the process and his suspicions, present solutions and next steps was exceptional. His approach of taking time to really understand my father’s issues and commiting to helping him through the process of re-learning how to hear with a new device is nothing we have seen before. Looking forward to seeing the results as things progress!

2022-05-20I was having a hard time hearing with my left ear. I called my primary doctor, but no appointments until the end of the month. I called Hinderliter Hearing Services and I was blessed to get a same day appointment. The ladies at the front desk were exceptionally helpful and friendly. In less than 2 mins the doctor diagnosed and started to fix my problem. My entire visit was less than 30 mins. I’m very grateful for the doctor and her team as well as the exceptional service!!!!

2022-07-18Nothing but the best to say about Dr. K Hinderliter and her team! She and her team provided dedicated and specific attention in helping me improve my hearing deficiencies. She outlined various options and not just one size fits all with respect to types of hearing aids. Mine were fine tuned to compensate for my audiogram deficiencies. I can now adapt to various environments I am exposed to like loud restaurants, driving in my convertible, talking in a conference room, and many other situations. My quality of life has significantly improved!

2022-03-18My wife encouraged me to get a baseline test after she was delighted by her experience with the Hinderliter team. The entire staff is well organized, knowledgeable, and friendly. The baseline hearing test was easy and well explained. Afterwards, we reviewed my results with easy to understand graphics and without any pressure to correct my hearing. Looking forward to having the Hinderliter team care for my hearing needs for years to come!

The entire process was pleasurable from the very beginning (online forms) and the very pleasant Receptionist straight through to the testing and explanation of the results. Alainna and Laurie made me feel at ease. I must also say thanks to Dr. Rita Sharma for her recommendation of this facility. I was treated as member of their family.
