Comment: I highly recommend this team and the concept of homeowners renting tools like their bobcat excavators. Ryan and the other guys we interacted with were all patient and very friendly with us, they showed us how to use the tools, and they took care of pickup and delivery. Also, their fuel charge is very reasonable, only a couple dollars total over what we would have paid at the pump.The whole experience was a lot of fun and very productive for the whole family, and saved a lot of money over hiring day workers or landscapers to do the work for us.And what adult didnt like to play with toy excavators in the sandpit as a child? Now is your chance to use a real excavator in your garden. :-)

Comment: Tried renting a piece of equipment from a larger chain equipment rental place, they were out of what I needed and suggested Hometown Rentals. Hometown had what I needed at a much better price, they were prompt and helpful is sourcing out some other materials. As for Al Red’s review, the low rating was unwarranted. You don’t go to a place like this to ask encyclopedic questions. If I don’t know about concrete saws, I don’t go to a rental place to learn. Whatever wealth of knowledge they have is an added benefit.

Comment: LOOK ELSEWHERE!Called for an auto trailer...After they asked for year, make and model of car and it was provided, they then asked for the location of use. Once they received the information, they then said nope. By the way, it was a 71 Dodge Dart Coupe and we were taking it to a shop in El Monte to drop off for maintenance, probably 1 hour round trip. Too much for them to handle I guess...

Comment: I visited this place to find out information regarding their trailers. All but one look in good working conditions. The young sales rep was rude when I asked load safety questions. After several misleading answers from the sales representative, the sales rep became disrespectful and began to make ignorant statements about weight distribution hitches. Sadly, the rep admitted he did not know what a load distributing hitch was, But that did not stop him from making statements about the purpose of this product even after clearly stating that He had no idea what the product was or function. After becoming hostile with me, He left and began to make fun of me with his co-worker. I found the behavior of this sales rep so immature and disrespectful. I will never return.Do you self a favor, if you rent their products, inspect them and make sure there in working order?

Comment: Well just have to say that customer service is very good. Everyone is knowledgeable and respectful. When I have had an issue, which has been maybe 3 times in 15 yrs that I have rented from there, they take care of it asap. They always found away to correct the issue. So be it I rent for my business or stuff to use at home... I do recommend them.

Comment: I rented a 75 feet snake, and it did not work. It was not in good shape, after communicating with the guys at the store I was allowed to used a bigger size snake. I was glad I picked the 100 feet snake. If you are going thru the main drain the 100 foot snake is the way to go. It took some effort to go in and out but it did the job. It took close to 90 feet to find the clog. Thanks Home Rentals...great customer service is always appreciated

Comment: Had the best experience ever moving. This company was very cooperative and had great customer service! Unfortunately, I have moved several times in my life and I will say I would recommend this company before U-Haul. They have great prices and I was in and out in a timely. I was also given back the correct amount of money with no issues. There are Penske trucks are clean and drive real smooth. I didnt realize that they have all other types of equipment 4 rent as well as additional party supplies.
