Comment: The cleanliness of the rooms was DISGUSTING. The room we got was INFESTED with roaches. On the bed, in the cabinets, in the dishwasher… everywhere!!! If you plan on staying here please please make sure you inspect your room’s cleanliness first. I wish I could attach videos because the pictures don’t show how bad it actually was.

Comment: Location was great! Our family visited Disneyland and we were happy with how close the hotel was to the park. The kitchen staff was excellent! They provided toys for our son every morning at breakfast, which was very kind and appreciated.The Front desk employees were not very friendly and they seemed very annoyed anytime someone had to speak to them.The rooms definitely need some attention and updates (see pictures.) The rooms were definitely rundown. The dishwasher had a lot of hard water throughout it. Dishwasher could use some vinegar to help with the hard water stains. The toilet handle was broken and came off occasionally when flushing the toilet. The sheetrock around the shower head was moldy and coming apart. It needs to be replaced asap. I was not impressed with the housekeeping staff. Housekeeping does not refresh rooms every day, which was a huge disappointment.Pool and hot tub are nice and convenient. Having pool toys available for the kids was appreciated. However, the pool and its surroundings could use some maintenance. Palm tree debris and duck feces on the pool deck should be cleaned and maintenance ought to be done regularly.

Comment: Focusing on the positives first:- The location is great, it is a mile walk from the hotel to the Toy Story Parking Lot for Disneyland.- The breakfast and the morning staff are both great. The standard Hilton breakfast (gooey oatmeal, sausage, eggs, juice) are served and attended by a kind and friendly staff.The negatives:- The hotel claims to be eco friendly, not even close. They use Styrofoam and plastic for all plates, cutlery, even their recycling bins in each room are lined with plastic bags. This is honestly one of the least environmentally friendly hotels we have stayed in.- The rooms are poorly designed. You get a small bedroom, tiny living area/kitchen, and a huge bathroom that literally echoes.- The rooms and especially the bathrooms are suffering neglect. Cracked and leaking pipes in the shower, cracked light fixtures, holes in the walls, furniture that is cracked and chipped, and the dishwasher was so caked in hard water that it would coat any dish in calcium and make it dirtier than when it was loaded for cleaning.

Comment: The breakfasts and kitchen staff were amazing! In particular, Nelson and (I forgot her name, but maybe ...) Jagen (?) were helpful and happy!The rooms seemed good at a glance, but a closer look showed their true colors. The sink had food in the disposal, the tub didnt drain and had a flosser stuck in it to keep the drain open, navigating the 2 open doors to get to the bathroom sink at night, in the dark, with 2 kids under 3, sucked, tape all over every wall, cracks everywhere, and on the day they cleaned our room (which is only every other day) the toilet paper was placed on top of the holder and not in it as it should be and the bed was made with clothes in it, there are only 2 elevators that are separated on opposite ends of a very LONG hallway (which they keep at 90°), and random pieces of property from previous people random throughout. Extra towels were not available when asked for, as well.The location is nice, the availability of a pack n play was great, go area for dogs if you need it, and a nice little store area in the lobby in case you forgot something.Its a good distance to Disneyland and in the same parking lot as a Starbucks and some good restaurants.

Comment: I’d like to start out with sharing I rarely leave a poor review. This hotel is deserving of a poor review.Walking into the lobby was full of a perfume/flower/chemical smell. Almost immediately my skin, face, eyes and throat were itching. I started to have a tight wheezing cough. Another customer was checking in and taking awhile. I told check in personnel I’d be waiting outside, they acknowledged. Multiple staff present, no one extra checked customers in.Staff assured me the smell was only from the freshly cleaned carpets, the upstairs would not smell. We pre paid for our room, I figured might as well try it out. Afterwards they informed us the elevator is broken, we’d need to use the back door and back elevator. The parking for handicapped accessible spots was limited. We parked and made the long walk down the hallway- smelled of urine but better than the chemical smell- short lived as they were cleaning the hallway carpet. Knowing how difficult it was the breathe in the lobby scared me for the long hallway of not breathing without coughing and tight feeling.Getting into our room, it was not well set up for a small wheelchair to fit. Going into the bathroom with limited grab bars around the toilet. Saw the shower had grab bars, but the edge of the tub was raised higher than normal, the tub required me to step up as well as combat the raised edge. No seat or chair for accessibility. The front desk was kind when we informed them we will not be staying. It wasn’t safe for our family member nor was it safe for my breathing. The hotel next door was more than accommodating and very safe for wheelchair users.Still waiting for my refund.

Comment: Homewood Suites by Hilton Anaheim-Main Gate I had a mixed stay here. The hotel is being renovated, so the main Elevator was not operational (and will not be for a bit). All Guests must use the back Elevator (the Hotel is designed as basically a very long bowling alley style). So park in the back parking lot for easy door access to the Elevator. There was a very serious Security lapse in my stay. Initially when I check in online and selected my room (prior day) it confirmed tue room, I arrive and nope!! That room was “out of service”………. So I got stuck in whatever room was left on whatever other floor was not selected by everyone else who checked in too. I’m a top level member, not a good start at all. But the worst and a very serious issue was that Maintenance did not latch my door when they left after the room I ended up with had a non operational Refrigerator…….. maintenance came out (it was late when I discovered that neither the freezer nor the refrigerator were cooling despite the fan being on in it). So when in the Morning when maintenance came to replace it, the person who last left the room did not bother to check the door, and the safety latch was open keeping the room wide open!!!! If they were trained to always (100%!!!) check and pull the door to make sure that it is latched whenever leaving someone’s room, that was a critical error……. I was at a Music Conference and easily could have had multi thousand $’s worth of equipment in my room there WITH THE ROOM DOOR CRACKED WIDE OPEN! Not ok!!!!! Management handled it professionally though.The rooms are being renovated as they are quite dated, but are clean. The hallway carpet has Elden it’s better days and will be replaced in the renovation I’m sure. My Suite was very quiet, no outside/adjacent room sounds were heard.Staff in the breakfast area was great! The food was also very good and fresh. Comment: Fantastic...Check-in was quick, smooth and friendly!Kudos to Amy T. She was very helpful and personable!ALL staff members that I encountered were friendly and helpful.Room, actually, the suite was spacious and very comfortable, complete with full kitchen.The property is very dog friendly and they have a large open dog area on the far west end of the building. If fenced, it could be construed as a dog park.A couple of blocks south of Disneyland, yet still very convenient to everything in and around the Harbor/Katella area.A generous complimentary breakfast buffet is served daily.Regardless of the brand, Hilton properties are always worth the patronage!

Comment: Our stay was from Dec 14th to Dec 17th 2023 upon arriving at 3:00am lady wouldn’t open the door and kept yelling at me from her desk asking me if I had a reservation to which I shouted yes and continued to ask me three times cause she couldn’t hear. It was cold outside and had my kids sleeping I shouted at her to open the doors cause I wasn’t gonna communicate by screaming. I called multiple time to let them know I was gonna be checking in late. 1.once we got yo the room it had a very strong smell like a mix of humid, mold and cigar. 2. Carpet had big stains. 3 towels were dirty and had hair. 4. Bed sheets were dirty, old, had stains, hair and had a smell. 5. We asked to get new bed sheets and pillow cases at 3 am the lady didn’t seemed happy to bring it. They don’t know how to act profesoral she forgot the pillow cases we ran out the room to catch her and let her know and she was shouting you didn’t ask for that arguing from the other end of the hall. At 3am!! Not to mention the sheets were ripped looked very old yellowish even tho they were white. 6. In Three nights we never got the room cleaned even tho the lady told me it was on the list to clean the next day. Our trash was not emptied out in 3 days. 7. Bathtub was so dirty we put a tower inside the tube to shower and did not use a single towel. DID NOT HAVE A NICE STAY. IF YOU LIKE CLEAN HOTELS I DONT DONT RECOMMEND THIS ONE.(see pictures attached)

The hotel has water damage and a mildew smell the moment you walk down the hallway.Pieces of the signage in the elevator were duct taped on.In the room, the pull out couch had rips in the cushion and the bed frame was broken. Comment: We had a wonderful experience with the hotel! First off, the breakfast is AMAZING. Each day is a different selection of hot foods, with the standard cold options. There is plenty of seating/tables and the breakfast team of staff is so friendly. They remember who you are and always say good morning and have a conversation (Laura G. was absolutely a favorite of ours to see each morning). The room was clean and spacious, with 2 big closets and a dresser for clothing. It was great having a full kitchen and living room. Housekeeping kept an eco-friendly standard schedule unless you call them with a need. The pool and hot tub are nice and in a secure locked fenced-in area. There are chairs & loungers by the pool, and towels are typically stocked during the day (if there were no towels when we went in the evening, we would notify the front desk and housekeeping would stock it within 5 minutes). Parking on the property was $25 USD per night. If you are planning on doing the Disney parks, this hotel is just an 8 minute drive away. The hotel description does say that it has a shuttle ... but its actually just a city bus that comes to a different hotel down the street, and you can take it for $6 USD per person. The hotel also has several restaurants and shopping centres around the property.

Comment: This place is amazing! I have to say its because of the staff. Location, yes, perfect. The swimming pool, yes, perfect. But its the staff that goes above & beyond, every day, every shift. When you have a request, they handle it with ease. When I checked in, for some funky reason, credit card = denied! Comment: The rooms were nice enough. My stay was for three weeks. For the most part it was quiet. Just understand that if you come here in summer, the place is filled to the brim with families.Breakfast is pretty decent. The dining area is quite large. There are several cereal options, oatmeal, eggs, and either biscuits & gravy, bacon or chicken tenders. If youre a solo traveler and want to get ahead of the crowd, Go to breakfast between 06:00 - 07:30. TRUST ME! Otherwise, youre going to be fighting for space with a LOT of noisy families. If I can make one suggestion about food: maybe try something else other than chicken tenders. They looked a little anemic.I wish I could have enjoyed the pool during my stay. But, when I had the opportunity, it was always overrun with small kids invading the place. I think the pool and spa area should have the final two open hours be strictly 18+. Adults want pool time too.Overall, I would stay here again, maybe not in summer, but definitely another time of year.

We found stains on the couch, furniture was dented and scratched up significantly, and the room and halls had a stale odor. Comment: I would not recommend staying at this location. I was surprised by the condition of our room, and not in a good way. The bedding is uncomfortable, the comforter is thin and had holes in it, the pillows were terribly lumpy, the mattress was springy and uncomfortable. The bathroom was rusty and the toilet flushed half the time. We saw a roach and spiders which made us nervous to fall asleep. This is not the standard I am used to for a Hilton property. A Motel 6 would have likely been a better experience. The staff was friendly and did their best, but this property needs to be updated or sold to Super 8.

Comment: Rooms and hotel are very rundown and old. Terrible experience we had to face.. Very poor customer service... staff is rude, not friendly, noy helpful, or even doing their jobs properly.... I wouldnt give any stars for the services we have received..weve booked 2 rooms with 2 queen beds in well advanced. When other family (mum+son) entered in the room, the room didnt have 2 beds infact there was just 1 double bed and 1 sofabed, which was so old and rundown.. my son felt like he was sleeping on Springs the whole night. I requested a room change, and they said the hotel is fully booked, so that can be done the next day..2nd Family and room experience:2nd was ok but very old and weird smell was coming from bathroom.. we thought we were going to have 2x queen size beds, but the beds were double beds anyway its ok with small children, but 2 adults cant sleep comfortably on a double bed.. so we parents had to sleep separately with each child.. the blankets on double bad were single size.. and pillows were not even full size, only 1 full-size pillow, and the other was half size square!!The next day we found that they charged us for car parking while we didnt have any cars or using their parking.. we had to sort out a refund, which was a bit time-consuming again..We booked a room service but no room service was done till the late afternoon after another reminder then we left for the Disneyland.. after we came back at night, we found our bathroom sink all clogged/blocked with dirty black water.. i rushed to reception for help.. again no help!! they bluntly told me we dont have room service staff it can be done tomorrow morning.. next day nobody came till i reminded again... we left for Disneyland and returned in the evening.. when we came back i asked the reception staff that the water blocked issue has been resolved yet. They said yes its fixed and cleaned the bathroom and sink.. when we entered the room and checked the sink.. It was as it is and not cleaned, so they simply dried the flooded water only, but the sink and floor were just dirty and as itnis..We were traveling from all the way NZ to LA for the Disneyland visit.. Disneyland is about 10 minutes away. Breakfast was given and was ok.. They need to train their staff and get the full renovation done.. we will never visit the hotel ever again and WARNING all foreigners to be aware and dont believe in their pics on the internet..

Comment: I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The cleanliness of the rooms was subpar, which made me uncomfortable during my stay. Additionally, the staff’s attitude was quite rude and they showed no effort to acknowledge or assist guests. The breakfast offered was not up to standard and the dining area was extremely messy. Considering this hotel carries the Hilton name, I expected a much higher level of service. I hope Hilton reevaluates its association with this property, as it falls short of their usual standards. I would not recommend staying here unless improvements are made.

Comment: We took a family trip to Disneyland, which was a first-time visit for us. We stayed at a Homewood Hotel our first night by the beach and stayed here the remainder of the week. Ive never had a room with a kitchenette before so this was really nice! They had all the basic amenities of home in the kitchenette so we could prepare meals when we had time, or we could reheat leftovers from eating out. There was a full-size fridge, two burner stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, glass plates, glasses, metal utensils, serving utensils, liquid dish soap, and dishwasher soap, and paper towels. We bought food from a local grocery store, so we had food for the week to bring with us to Disneyland, as well as small meals to make in our hotel room. There were two separate rooms besides the bathroom area. The first room had a kitchenette, table, seating area with a fold-out bed and a TV. This room and the bedroom were separated by a heavy door. The bedroom had two queen beds with a nightstand between them, two full sized closets, and a dresser with a TV on top. One of the closets had extra blankets for the pull-out bed in the other room. But it didnt have pillows. The staff were great to bring us extra pillows for that bed. The blackout curtains overlapped nicely and didnt let in any light from outside. We set the fan to run continuously so the room maintained the same temperature the whole week, and most importantly, buffered the louder sounds from the room fan when it turned on at night. The room wasnt as soundproof or quiet as I wish it couldve been, but with the fan running all the time, it helped buffer the sound outside our room. The beds were comfortable, and the pillows were perfect! This is the first hotel Ive stayed in with pillows that werent too hard or soft or lumpy. After I got used to the hotel sounds, I slept well the rest of the week.Halfway through the week, the cleaning staff brought in extra towels, made the beds, cleaned the bathroom, and emptied all the garbage containers. I was so impressed by the staff! They were kind and helpful and took time to say hi to us on our way to or from our room as well as when we came into or left the hotel. They were very busy with breakfast and made sure fresh food was out, pancakes were turned, and dirty dishes were taken from the room to be cleaned. Usually, there are paper plates and plastic cups and utensils for breakfast, but here they used glass plates and glasses and metal utensils. It was nice to feel like we were at home. The dining area was spacious and clean, and there was a door to a really nice patio outside. We didnt use the outdoor pool because it was cold while we were there. We could see the exercise room on the 2nd floor from the driveway near the side door we used. It looked like it would have a great view from the large windows. We didnt use the equipment, so I cant add that to my review.The view from our window was nice with a tall tree near it. But, because Ive never seen palm trees up close before, the gardens around the hotel and Anaheim seemed spectacular and were well maintained.I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and if I ever get back to California, I will definitely stay here again! Id give the hotel 10 stars if I could, and I highly recommend staying here!

Comment: We have stayed at three of the 3.5 ★ Hotels at this same intersection - each of them for 7+ days and I have to say that it is by far my favorite for many reasons. Everything...down to the linens and the coffee cups was just wonderful. The suite we stayed in was absolutely lovely. The sheets and towels are so comfy and soft! The breakfast buffet is included for everybody every morning and they offer so many options! Most days they had the Belgian waffle maker available to use with all the mix and toppings and fillings you could want so you get to have a perfectly cooked, super fresh, 👌 👍 wagfle (or 2...or3...it is. Buffet, after all......lol) omelets, meat, potatoes juices, plus all the basic stuff like bagels and coffee ☕️ is available all day in spots located all over the hotel...including inside your suite.What really sets Homewood suites apart from the Marriott Suites and the Delta is the kitchen. The other two dont even offer. Microwave in the room, but Homewood has a fully stocked kitchen. Stove, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, freezer, coffee maker, sink with a disposal and all the dishes you might need to prepare and serve your favorite dishes from home. It is so nice to cook while on vacation. And did I mention the DISHWASHER? SO cleanup is super easy.I cant wait to stay there AgainThanks for a lovely stay Homewood Suitea! Comment: Stay elsewhere! This is the WORST Homewood Suites I’ve ever stayed at. I’m a Diamond level Hilton Honors member. For decades I’ve traveled 2-4 times/month staying at Hiltons all over the US and some in Europe. I’ve stayed in Homewood Suites in Orlando, DC, Williamsburg, Boston, Baltimore, Portland, Seattle, Dayton, St. Louis, Dallas/FTW, and countless others. This is the worst.Here’s a list of things that went wrong. We were on the 7th floor and elevator went out 1/2 way through our stay and the other elevator doesn’t go to the 7th floor. I don’t mind stairs but my wife has a heart condition. No hair dryer, but supplied when requested. No working phone in the suite.Worse are the design flaws: Insufficient sound insulation between walls. Every morning we’d the neighboring mom shouting at her children (sad). No door separating the bathroom sink/dressing area from the bedroom. (The best designs have two door so someone can be dressing etc and not have light wake someone trying to sleep.) Ineffective exhausting from the bathroom. Actually, insufficient for the entire room. When we go to our son’s suite, it was stuffy from their food. HVAC resets every day (while we’re in Disneyland) to 74 so we have to cool the room down each night. Loud (old) HVAC turning on/off all night (we switched the fan to ON instead of AUTO to stop from being woken up every time it kicked on.) the thermostat was located in the living room, not the bedroom, which meant the bedroom door had to remain open so it didn’t get hot at night. Took us 1/2 first night to discover this problem. (Remember that during the days everything got heated up to 74!) Some carpet is old. Bathroom shows clear water damage. The electrical design is old/wrong. Switches control lamps but the modern lamps have the outlets and USB ports to charge all the personal electronics. Thankfully we realized this before the first night and kept the wall switches on and turned off lights at the lamps. Turning off switches would have prevented phones from charging. Couches were most uncomfortable I’ve encountered.This hotel is quite old. The exterior clearly had a facelift but don’t be fooled. (It fooled me when I booked it.) This place is old and It is clearly under maintained. I used to manage income property. (I currently travel to Orlando regularly and stay in Hilton properties that service Disney World. Some of those are old too but are clearly better maintained. I know from experience that small children- especially when not properly supervised - are REALLY hard on rentals.) However, this hotel does not keep up with others I’ve stayed in located in family resort areas.Here’s head scratcher: when we arrived they gave a card with a QR code and discount code to go online and pay for parking. It didn’t work. Tried to charge us over $20/day instead of $8. Went to front desk and they chomp’s the parking but didn’t need any vehicle details so clearly someone other than hotel is collecting on parking but there doesn’t seem to be enforcement. Hmmm…There were some good, even great things. Water pressure was awesome with plenty of hot water even during peak morning hours (always so important!). The front desk staff was excellent and prompt to every request. The location is good and it’s very clean outside and with only minor exceptions it is very clean inside too so the cleaning staff is clearly doing their job - but there are clearly gaps too. Appliances and stocking of kitchen were good.Outdated Design and long term maintenance are the problems with this property.Verdict: I won’t stay here again.

Comment: 5 min drive to disneymand. 1.5 miles away. I mean you could walk if you really had no choice, personally we drove and its a 5 min drive down the block. Hotel price was decent, check in and check out was fast. Good location. I am thankful we got upgraded, we got a good deal so i cant complain on that. Service was great. Parking is NOT FREE. You pay per hour. We parked for 12 and paid 22 and change. Breakfast was free and decent. Pancakes, eggs. Ham, juices, coffee, cereal, bananas and apples.All the basics. I wil say the hotel itself is kinda runned down. We stayed in 6th floor and hallways smelled very musty, like when somethings wet and doesnt dry. That wasnt pleasent. We stayed in a 2x2 suite. While that was nice, the whole room aka suite is run down. Rugs were old, couch was old, walls were old and dirty, bathroom tubs were dirty and old. The whole place could use a pick me up in paint and new rug. It wasnt the cleanest tbh. When we went to shower the water never got hot. We showered in cold water. . Huge spiders in the room. Size of your thumb. I dont think id stay here again. But i will say staff was pretty nice.

Comment: They could use an upgrade on the elevator and the carpeting, but other then that, the staff were really excellent and very helpful, the breakfast was much better then other places Ive stayed with breakfast included. It would be nice if you didnt have to pay for parking, overall i would recommend staying here.

Comment: Note Parking $20usd/night. Should be complimentary. Free Breakfast. Great outdoor pool and hot jacuzzi tub.Rooms did the job as intended. Front Staff was friendly and helpful.1 star - recommend to throw out aged towels.

Comment: This place is very helpful! When we first got into Anaheim we came straight here, to get ready to go to Disneyland, at first we had planned to use points but when we were signing in, there was trouble and it took a long time to get it all figured out but two very sweet ladies got us all situated. Both girls very helpful !! Nola made everything happen and got us the price we were quoted and gave us a great room that coincidentally had a great view for the Disneyland fireworks and we were very much grateful for that when we werent able to stay for the babys sake. If you care at all for a room with a good view try #225!! For breakfast the food was great, it had everything pancakes, toast, cereal, a fruit bar, potatos! It was everything I needed to have a great day! In the lobby they have a cozy little spot for anyone to just hang out and watch fun family movies. Overall there is nothing bad I can say about this place, it was a good experience and I would totally recommend it!! Thanks Homewood!!

Comment: As a family of 5 traveling is always stressful but HOMEWOOD SUITES made our trip amazing. Upon checking in Skye was wonderful. She answered all questions we had and was so very kind. Brian and Annie (night front desk) helped me at 2am after a long day at Disneyland. After losing a credit card, fighting kids they went out of their way to make the end of our night a good one. With the savings from parking we were able to extend our trip from a 3night to a 4night. Hassan made our extention hasel free and so convenient. House keeping was great. You couldnt tell that we had 3 wild kiddos staying there. I love how there is a small kitchen area. It was like home away from home. We WILL be back!! I would recommend this hotel. Its super close to Disneyland and the beach.
