Comment: I have been using this dealership for several years the service today did not measure up to the usual excellent standards of service.Ii had an appointment and brought my car in at 1030am. I waited at least 4 hours before I even got a diagnosis of the problem and I had to call myself.Also the female employee in the parts department had me just waiting to pay for snacks because she was on the phone (business I suppose). The bright spot was the problem was under warranty & I did not have to pay.

Comment: HUGE thanks to Tommy Owen, and Ryan at the Service center! I had just gotten my CRV back in March and in true LA fashion, got a damn screw on the side of the tire. Took it to Cerritos where they wasted my time so Tommy was the man to go to at Pasadena! They were able to replace my tire and get me back on the road in just a couple hours, no hassle, no back and forth - the way it SHOULD BE. I have the WORST experiences at Service centers so it was a huge relief to be taken care of like a human, not a number like most dealerships. Highly recommend, and conveniently located minutes off the 134 freeway!

Comment: I have been here before and every time it is such amazing service. I thought I just got lucky with the advisor the first time but even this time when I had a new service advisor, Eddie, he was just as sweet and caring as the rest. I really feel like they only hire the most genuine, kind people haha. I was having car trouble and first went to culver city Honda but was quoted $450 and a 3 hr wait time, then came here since I leased my car from Honda of Pasadena, and was in and out in an hour and paid less than half of the original quote, it was definitely worth the extra drive from LA. I want to thank them so much for their amazing service and will definitely be returning.

Comment: Honda of Pasadena was wonderful when I came up there recently to have a problem fixed with my engine. I worked with an advisor named Ryan Vaughn. The advisors and mechanics worked in a timely manner and was able to help temporarily remedy an issue with my car caused by another dealership’s negligence. They also made sure that I had transportation to my home and back to Honda of Pasadena once they finished servicing my car. I stopped in this dealership once just to look at a car. They were very nice, quick to help me, and every one was welcoming. You know how you walk into an establishment and the feelings are either off or not? Well, I felt good walking in there. They never pressured me and was helpful from the start. Thank you.

He worked with us, was patient, and took his time answering any questions we had and was very transparent so we felt comfortable with our options. Comment: I was not planning on putting this but I’m still dealing with the consequences of what this dealership did to me. Back in march I had went in for a 2024 Honda Accord Sport. I went in got approved and signed the contract. After signing the contract I wasn’t allowed to take it home regardless if I had insurance. While signing the contract the salesman told me that the contact would be locked so that no changes could be made to the APR. In order for me to take the car I had to go out and get insurance. Keep in mind I paid $1000 of down payment to get the insurance. When the insurance became valid they allowed me to pick up the car. The minute I walked in to the dealership they took me into the room to sign another contract claiming that the APR went up. Wasn’t the whole purpose of signing the contract was to lock everything? I explained that to them and they never decided to take me into consideration about it. I was forced to leave the car there and I was left car less because plans were already made with my previous car. I’ll never trust a Honda dealership again and I hope no one else trust this dealership either if you don’t want to get your APR changed last minute regardless if you’ve signed a contract. My credit was also affected by this resulting in hard inquiries when I don’t even have the car in my possession. The names of all the unprofessional workers are Kenny, Danny, and Mike.

We spoke to Diego Albelais over the phone, he was friendly, straight forward and didnt seem like a typical sales person (endless pitching, aggressive, pushy or misleading). When we arrived he was so laid back and professional. He seemed like he genuinely just wanted to find his friends (aka us) a car wed like. There was NO pitching or sales tactics. He remained professional and never made us feel foolish during our negotiations. He gave us his opinion and even though we never took it he marched into the managers office and got us a deal we were happy with. To top it off he fed us while we were waiting on the final paper work (as a pregnant women--this was so much appreciated!). If youre looking for a Honda head here and ask for Diego!

I later purchased a Honda Fit 8 years ago with Kenny at HOP. This year, I upgraded to my first new car. A beautiful 2024 Honda Civic sport. I was delighted that after 8 years, Kenny still remembered me—and he was now promoted as manager! Comment: I will put zero stars but is not available option, let me start with I purchase a certified Honda Pilot 2019, I was on talks of a 2022, agent told me it was a mistake ended with the 19, with a very high price and broken since week one. The Pilot keep pushing me as I drove on freeway and kept saying stability assistance needed attention, I took car to Honda, who’s technicians said, there was nothing wrong with the vehicle, “good as new” the car kept giving me issues until April 2024 when it completely broke, guess what was the problem on dashboard ! Stability assistance!! But Honda said it was the recalled gas pump. Part was not available my car stayed at Honda for two weeks, leaving me without transportation to work, (single Mom of three kids on a budget). Dealer denied a loaner, or rental help, so did Honda Care, what a nightmare!, I ended on my feet until I figure out a rental out of pocket, guess what?! Again, Honda denied the refunds of rental. My car was given back smelling like gas until now, they even could not turn it on when I went to pick it up, because the technician left the lights on, jumped my car to be able to turn it back to me at pick up. A heard so many “I’m sorry”!I will never ever buy a Honda again. Save your money, I’m stuck with a loan, if not I will return it. Worst car I ever owned, horrible guest service.

Comment: Im visiting from out of state (AZ), and developed a vibration at high speed (75mph). Called HoP and was able to quickly get an appointment. Nice!Once I got there, Karen, the service rep, was very professional, courteous, listening to my situation and helping come up with a service plan. In a fairly short time, service was complete with wheels rebalanced and aligned, along with a needed oil change.After getting the car, I tested it at high speed to see if the vibration was still there. Unfortunately, it was, but reduced. I call HoP back, and spoke with Karen.We discussed the issue, and she suggested I come in the next day at 7:30am to have it looked at again. I did.The issue was quickly resolved (with an hour). One of the balance weights had come off, and there was some caked-on dirt that had to be cleaned off. There was no charge for the reservicing!And Karen was great with getting things resolved in a timely manner.By way of summary, my experience with HoP was outstanding.

Comment: I avoid going to third-party dealers in order to get a reliable car and customer service but apparently this dealership is no better and has become nothing but a liability. I shouldn’t have to be taking Ubers when I’m paying $400 a month for a car of my own.The vehicle that was provided to me is unreliable and I have brought it back every month since I have had the car for almost a year for the same issue. Each time I’ve taken it in they act as if they don’t know what I’m talking about & ask me questions like “What am I doing when k turn the car on” as if I’m causing the issue. Many occasions the brakes randomly go off when no other vehicle is around. All lights turn off while driving( navigation, music, everything electrical) and disconnects my phone. I have to redo everything while driving and on top of that this dealership had the audacity to asks me to record it while I was driving, putting my child and myself at danger. Prior to providing pic/vid they didn’t really seem to believe me and nothing was done about it.On top of that,whenever I go to pick up a rental, those too are unreliable. I was told they would contact me when they had a car ready and I didn’t hear anything for a week, once I reached out there was a car suddenly ready. I was late to work because their rental’s battery died the second day I had it and it’s a 2023. The second rental wasn’t even prepared nor cleaned..I have text, pics, valid proof of how unprofessional this dealership is.Call it what you want but when I’ve spent almost 20k on a vehicle and it’s unreliable in the shop every month for days while the provider is doing nothing to fix it except run you in circles and collect your payment, that’s shady to me. I wouldn’t even give this place one star it’s been nothing but downhill since I’ve stepped on the lot

I had a 2022 Honda CRV sport that I just loved and I decided to get the 2024 CRV hybrid which I am so happy about CYNTHIA was a champ and helped me so much. Sophia in Finance was awesome too. The task of getting a new car seemed so daunting - I had already gone to a few other dealerships and well… it was overwhelming, especially for someone like me who doesn’t really care about cars at all and knows very little. Once we got there we were greeted by Ivan, the most easy going and helpful sales associate I had the pleasure to meet. He was very agreeable and answered all my questions thoroughly. And I had a lot of questions!! I explained what I’m looking for and what I want to accomplish and we got started on the process.Next we met Mike Abramov, the manager of the place. I was impressed with his patience and tenacity. I can be difficult - and demanding :) And Mike didn’t give up on me and after some back-and -forth he basically made it happen! Comment: There is no one who cares for the consumer. In my 3 year old HRV water from the moon roof that should go outside the car went into the circuit boards. The drains should drain outside and not into the circuit board. How can the drains be connected to the circuit boards I fail to understand.It caused major damage and nuisance for me.Honda refused to admit that it is either a design flaw or manufacturing defect.Neither the Honda company helped nor did the Honda dealer.Dealer says talk to Honda customer service, customer service says talk to the dealer. After being bounced around for 2 months, I had to give away 3 year old car with 44K miles to charity.I felt too unsafe to drive around in that car, water in electrical system could cause any kind of hazard.I will never buy another Honda !!

Comment: Yeah, I pretty much got the car I wanted. But, the whole process was extremely inefficient. I had to talk to at least 6 different people to get the car over the course of many hours. Its also good I checked the invoice because they tried slipping in another $3k for services I didnt want. Im certain they also lied about how long the car had been on the lot because the battery was dead and needed to be replaced. It was certified pre-owned, but that certification must have been further than a week ago like they said unless it was a sloppy job. The people were friendly, but it was still just a frustrating experience.

Comment: I called their roadside assistance number because my friend’s Honda CRV hybrid won’t start. They were able to send a towing truck within an hour and checked what’s wrong in their Honda Center in Pasadena. Ryan assisted me and concluded that they will have to change the battery and it is still covered by warranty. I told Ryan I had to go to work at 11 am and they replaced the battery right away. The battery replacement was done in 40 minutes that I was able to make it to work on time. I highly recommend them for their friendly and quick customer service.

I hade made an appointment a couple weeks in advance and even though there ended up being a lot more service that needed to be done to my car than I initially expected (4 new tires), my car was ready the same day. I was able to approve every recommended service needed after assessment so I knew exactly how much my total cost would be at pick up. My car is now good to go for the next 4-5 years. Comment: Honda of Pasadena is where I take my car for service over and over again. I’ve been here for oil changes, car inspections, tire/battery replacements, and AC repair. As a woman, it can be intimidating to walk into these places and feel like you’ll immediately be taken advantage of. Every time I have a coupon, they happily honor it for me. Love that they offer shuttle services so I can be taken home to finish other tasks while my car is being serviced. Is is only for a 5-mile radius. They’ve got multiple areas for you to sit and wait as well. Only downside is some services may be too pricey. I have family and friends in the auto mechanics industry and one of them was able to replace my car’s air and cabin filters. Honda was charging me $69 for one filter and $100 for the other, with my friend’s help I ended up just paying about $50 for parts. It really opened my eyes to how much the mark up is. I trust Honda because I know it’ll get done right but the prices are questionable. Despite this, the staff is always super friendly and helpful!

Comment: HONDA REALLY DOES CARE....HELPFUL HONDA OF PASADENA, REALLY HELPED ME....Hello, my name is Lannette. I needed a new key made for my 2012 Honda Civic CNG. The key I had, broke off from the transponder. The key cost $101. To cut the key and reprogram transponder cost another +$200. On 7/20/23, I called Honda, and spoke with EVA who was very kind and professional. She set aside the last key in stock for my car so when I arrived to purchase it, it would be there for me. I got the next available appointment on 7/25 to cut and reprogram my new key. When I arrived on the same day, 7/20/23, and purchased the key, Eva went to the manager to let him know that I was there and He went out of his way, to give me an instant appointment immediately. Within one hour I had my new key cut and programmed for FREE!!! Honda of Pasadena really helped me out and I truly appreciate the kindness of their service manager, RUBEN SERNA!!!!!....got on the phone immediately to make sure simple fixes customers need for that appointment to be made for the same day or asap. I met nothing but ANGELS ....HONDA HELPFUL PEOPLE OF PASADENA, really DOES CARE!!!!!!! I am an ICU nurse and I in Harbor City and live in Pasadena, to have to uber to work would have me about $50+ each way. So they saved me hundreds while cutting the Key for FREE!!!! I was sooooo impressed with the kindness and professionalism and how personable their manager RUBEN SERNA!!!!!! a huge big THANK YOU to him because he really communicated to me that I mattered, and that he REALLY cared to do everything he could to get it all done, and quickly. I will only come here because everyone here really worked so hard and professionally to make sure I had an awesome day!!!!! See pictures of these people people. EVA is the sweet lady in the service department, the other helpful young fellas in the next picture, and my receipt, unfortunately I did not get a picture of RUBEN SERNA, he was so busy being an angel and helping other customers.

Comment: Bought this wonderful Honda CRV sport 2024 for my wife. She absolutely loves it and I am so happy to be able to share this moment with Honda of Pasadena. I got recommended by a friend named Vinny and I am now looking forward to recommending my family members to come spend time at Honda Pasadena. Comment: I had been shopping around at different dealers for a 23 HRV Sport so that I could do a trade in of my current Honda. I spoke to Ivan the internet sales manager and he had been the first and only manager I had spoken to from all the Honda dealerships in SoCal that actually was honest, transparent and flexible with me. I’m not joking or lying when i say i had called ALL the Honda dealerships in LA and San Bernardino county!! Not to mention, he also was NOT pushy and that made me feel 1000% comfortable to drive far to come in and make this deal happen. ( i live in San Bernardino which is like 50 miles/ 1 HR Drive ) I got a honest and accurate trade in value for my current Honda which is what I was looking for. In addition, Ivan also gave me a full breakdown of the price, fees, state fees etc. and also made sure I got the best interest rate! I moved onto working with the insurance staff and the young lady who assisted me was so kind, and patient with me, I was very pleased! After that, I worked with finance, and Danny is the best finance employee I’ve worked with at a car dealership! He was NOT pushy about anything and he made sure to explain all the numbers and specs of my contract along with add ins etc. Danny is super patient, explained everything throughly, answered all my questions AND was super nice and funny! After finance I was helped by Kira who went above and beyond for me, he unscrewed my old license plate cover from my trade in (it was my alumni plate cover so it was important to me) and asked me if I wanted it on my new car, and he put it on for me. He also made sure to check in a few times and ask if I needed to go and get any items from my old car to the new one. He even double checked and made sure. Then Kira took me out to see my new car and showed me how to use the alarm system, downloading the app for the alarm on my phone. He also spent time in showing me again how to use the different specs on the car and how to change things on it as well. Then, I went home in a brand new car!! Overall 10/10 experience with EVERY single person at this dealership. I do not have a single complaint of any employee who assisted me. They were all excellent! The process was so easy, fast and honest, I truly felt they all wanted what was in my best interest and worked hard to give me the best which I did. I will definitely come back, and recommend all my friends and family looking to buy, lease, trade to come in and take a look. Thanks again Ivan, Danny, Kira!! You guys are the best!

Comment: I cannot say enough great things about Pasadena Honda and their team! From the first phone call until i drove my car home, i was honored with the red carpet / white glove treatment.Kenny answered all my questions without any runaround or ambiguity that required me to come back to question anything. He was honest and acted w integrity. He respected my time and made me feel valued. I admit i shopped around and found that Kenny gave me the best quote the first time. I didnt even need to question him. When i got there, Kenny greeted me at the entrance and welcomed me like family visiting his home. I loved that.He took care of everything and gave me financing options and everyone helped me make the best decision for me (even tho a different decision could have made them a few extra hundred/thousand dollars). Thank you for that. Kenny took me to Danny to finalize paperwork and Danny was so kind and informative. He was quick, clear, to the point. I loved how professional and honest he was in explaining the different options that were available.I was in and out in no time at all. Thank you, Honda Pasadena family! I appreciate you guys so much!
