I was really excited to hire House and Order because of all the wonderful Google reviews on the cleaners! I had a Zoom meeting with the coordinator and I was impressed with everything she told me. She said she would email me that same day with potential start dates. I never heard from her. It has been two weeks and I’ve reached out twice but have not received a response.
They were good. First they did a deep clean before coming out on a weekly basis. Five people went through the house cleaning the light fixtures, baseboards and all of the stuff done as typical Spring cleaning.Following that we moved to weekly with one person. Initially we had trouble getting the right person. The first woman was great but could not return for personal domestic problems. The second woman was good too but had to stop with this Covid business because she had no childcare. The third woman was a bust but the fourth, Jessa, is great too. She shows up promptly at 9:00 AM, works non stop with high quality and is pleasant. I advised my daughter to use her as well - and she does.
Makayla did a wonderful job, very detail oriented! I was especially impressed as my previous month had been (understandably) skipped due to another cleaners child getting covid. This was my first time having Makayla visit and I look forward to seeing her again. Thank you!
House and Order has been my new cleaning service for the last few months. Of all the cleaners I’ve worked with over many years, they are the best. Maddie does such a tremendous job! Super conscientious and also very kind and easy to work with. :)Update: happy to report that I remain really pleased with this company and Maddie’s work. Normally I don’t have such good luck with other service providers. :)
We have a crew of two , Jessa and Megan, clean our home. They are prompt to arrive and split up to tackle the house cleaning. The place looks great when they leave. Very happy with their work. Highly recommend.
Maddie is wonderful! She cleans our house so well and is so wonderful to be with. I appreciate all she does in our home. It is fabulous!It looks so great after she leaves, we often have friends and family over the day of or the day after she works here!
We sure had a different experience with House And Order than many of the other reviewers. Because of such good reviews we waited weeks for them to start, was promised a specific day and time and the same cleaner. For weeks a different person showed, times and days changed and texted went answered. Finally, against my better judgement, a day and time was agreed upon and consistent person was scheduled. The morning of a cleaning I was called saying the cleaner quit and it would be weeks before they could get to our house again. I had to just move on to another company. We never had a complaint with the cleaning just the management.
Jessa is the sweetest, even if I tell her to skip something she does it anyways just to make sure everything is always perfect. She’s great. She helped clean my house when I moved

I am seriously disappointed in this service. I schedule a deep clean for a home we bought in Farmington Hills on 9/7. Since we’re getting new carpet there were only bathroom and kitchen floors to clean. They didn’t clean the kitchen floor. I asked them to instead of the bedroom floors to please vacuum the window sills and clean the baseboards. They didn’t. They did wipe down the cabinets in the kitchen. I had asked them to wipe out or vacuum the insides of the cabinets. They didn’t. Today we cleaned the top of the refrigerator. There was stuff from the previous home owner and thick dust up there. On top of the oven was thick, thick dust. And in some of the corners the cobwebs were still there. Above all of that, the owner canceled the 10 am appt to discuss regular services. He had to cancel which was fine. I haven’t heard a word from them since. And all of “this” for $243.
Taylor is simply the best! Always cheerful and always goes the extra mile. Breanna joined her a few months back and they are a delight to have in my home. They work very well together.
Great experience. I used there office in Ann Arbor for Years. Our family just moved to Birmingham and my housekeeper is even better than before. I love how I get a perminate housekeeper every week. Taylor you are the best. Thank you. Highly recommend.

2022-05-06Had a zoom call to get an estimate, which seemed to go well. I described what I wanted, which was to have my house cleaned and not half a$$ed since I can do that myself and if I am paying for it, I want it done right. She assured me that they would do a good job. The first time there were 2 cleaners and there was a lot of stuff missed. The master bath shower had not been done at all, other things werent done perfectly, but one of the ladies said since I hadnt had cleaning done regularly, it wasnt going to be perfect right off the bat. So I decided to give them another week and boy was that a joke. The girl who came over seemed to have NO clue at all on how to clean. The bathrooms were left very dirty. She said it was too hard to clean behind the sink, she didnt do any of my floors because she didnt have a vacuum or a broom, she didnt do any of the ceiling fans (even after I pointed out they werent done), she didnt clean my den (which I paid to have done), she didnt do any windows and when I asked about that, she said it was a liability for them to clean windows, but during my zoom call the lady said windows would be done. The kitchen appliances were all left streaky, the counters were not cleaned well (nothing was moved to be cleaned under). I truly dont understand what this person did for four hours in my house since none of the stuff I wanted done was done. I emailed the company the same day, which was over a week ago, and Im still waiting to hear back from them. Ive tried the two phone numbers they have online. One says its no longer working and the other one says its unavailable right now, so not sure how to even get in touch with them. Do not waste your money or time with this place...its just money down the drain...

2021-12-03UPDATE: We had excellent service from two women who have left the company. Since then, the housekeepers that have been sent havent come close to the standard were used to. One left basically everything uncleaned and let our cat escape without telling us. The other was friendly and did a better job of cleaning but didnt do any of the floors, put half an avocado in the dishwasher (?), and brought her brother to help her. The website listed when you search for them on Google and on the website isnt in service anymore. Were going to cancel our service.

2021-08-06Heather does a great job and always asks if there was anything she missed or that we need. She is totally flexible to work around different areas of the house when the kids are doing homework or we are in zoom meetings. She makes sure everything it taken care of before going. She even finds her way around teenager rooms and stuff to get them cleaned! Amazing!!

2021-06-11I had Lisa come recently for the first time and within 15 minutes I knew this was the company for me. Lisa scrubbed my grout with a toothbrush and left my home looking better than Ive ever seen it! I am so happy with her work I switched already from a monthly clean to a biweekly clean. Ive tried 3 other companies in the area and each time I was left with a lot to be desired, this time I couldnt find a single thing left for me to do around the house. I love it!

2020-12-11Every staff member from House and Order has been excellent. Megan is our most recent house cleaner and she has done a really thorough job with the added chaos of children and parents in the house sometimes. She wears her mask and keeps a safe distance and is very respectful and efficient.

Megan is sure to do any task that I asked of her, like vacuuming the upholstered furniture, the sunroom, and the stairs to the basement. The house is always so clean, bright and shiny when she has completed her work. My family and I really appreciate the service Megan and House and Order have done for us.
