All the people at Howe Peterson were very pleasant and accommodating with my family and friends. They made us feel at home which is probably difficult during this Pandemic (there only was 10 people allowed at a time for visitation). Just wanted to say, Chad was wonderful with my dad and family when mom passed unexpectedly. He was calm, knowledgeable, and very sensitive to our needs during this process. The whole experience during this dreadful covid epidemic was way better than expected and Howe-Peterson handled everything perfectly.
In a familys worst time, Howe-Peterson made the process of my grandmothers arrangements go as smooth as possible with no issues or surprises. Specifically the director, Michael, who was even thinking of possible needs or issues before I could think of them. He was very helpful and even arranged for a priest since we were not with our local parish. Not that I hope to use their services anytime soon, but if they were needed I would not hesitate to go back to them.

2022-01-27The staff was very compassionate and attentive to every detail for our Dad when he passed. The things we didn’t or couldn’t think of while still processing our grief they led the way and were incredibly helpful. A big “Thank you” to Liz for spending so much time with us to make sure everything was just right. We were also able to enjoy a catered meal onsite after the service which was convenient, especially since it snowed.

2020-11-07One of the most difficult times in my life was losing my Dad so suddenly on July 4th. The only place that I would trust with his funeral was Howe Peterson. I had attended funerals there before and was impressed at the staff and services. They didn’t let us down. From my first call to Lindsay to the final goodbye to my Dad at the funeral home, the staff was so helpful and supportive. I worried about how Dad would look in the casket, but he looked amazing. Just looked like he was lying there sleeping. So peaceful and natural. Dad was buried at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly and the Service was beautiful. The staff that was with us at the Cemetery stayed with us until the end. Thank you for everything, it was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend their services.

2021-01-28The staff at Howe Peterson-Dearborn were extremely kind, caring, and thoughtful in helping our family deal with the passing of our wonderful mom. They offer post-funeral services to provide assistance with anything we needed, including the bereavement process. I would definitely recommend them.

2020-12-09From the first day we entered the funeral the home, everything was like clock work. Our case like many in these times of the pandemic was much different than in the past. We had to wait two weeks to actually have the service given my wifes mother died of COVID related conditions. Jeff, explained what and how we needed to proceed; rules, laws, masks, numbers, etc. We felt very taken care of , our worries were not on the services, Howe Peterson handled everything. A few others that were very helpful. Liz, Carmen, Danielle and our limo driver, whos name escapes me (he even met us at the Holly national cemetery later in the week) were all sensational to work with. Thank you everyone...ps my mother-in-law looked perfect!!

2020-10-19In the last 10 or so years, my wife and I have been involved in and attended more funerals than we care to admit!Before my Dad recently passed away, he requested Howe-Peterson in Dearborn. Many of my wifes relatives used Howe-Peterson as their funeral service provider so the choice was easy.It was a great choice!From the moment we began funeral planning with Howe-Peterson we were VERY well taken care of. Their personal care, attention to detail and consistent communication throughout made us feel like we were their only customer.Despite COVID restrictions, they were still able to create an intimate and caring environment. Their use of technology allowed the entire family to be involved and engaged.Although I did not take advantage of their after-care services, I appreciate the care and service they offer long after funeral services are concluded.A special recognition goes out to Elizabeth Liz Kedzior who, in my wife and my opinion, exceeded every expectation we had regarding quality care. I would also like to thank Howe-Petersons Owner/CEO, Tim Schramm for taking time to meet with the family during visitation services.The entire staff at Howe-Peterson Dearborn has our heartfelt appreciation and thanks for a job VERY well done!Thank you!Hal Empson

2020-10-13Our family has gone to Howe Peterson in Dearborn in the unfortunate times of losing a loved one. Recently, our family lost my dad and in this very unexpected situation the staff and Jeff at Howe Peterson made navigating through this time easier than it could have ever been imagined. Always professional and clear communication throughout the process. Even during times of COVID they were there every step of the way without delay.
